The room and the stairwell going down the steps to the lobby had infestation of roaches. The motel clerk said he could not refund me because i use a 3rd party like expedia to book the room. I told the front desk clerk to keep it and I will never use the Super 8 again

We tried two different rooms. The first had stains on the bedspread and debris on the bedspread. The second had stains on the sheets and hairs IN the sheets -- which means it was made after being used, not washed. It was almost 2am, and still I decided to just leave and drive 45 minutes home. The guy at the front desk couldn't give me a refund (despite the rooms being fully refundable) and told me the manager would call me in the morning. I have my fingers crossed, but I'm not holding my breath. I'll probably have to fight to get a refund on a filthy room I didn't stay in. Absolutely awful.

Front desk clerk was not very friendly asked for ground floor told me he had noon and put us on the third floor.

In 70 years of traveling- this place was the worst. Room was never made up. We had to ask for towels. I was parked in handicapped spot - with handicap plaque displayed in plain sight and was woken up in night to move my car. I did NOT move it! Breakfast consisted of two kinds of stale cold cereal and. A dirty waffle maker. We ate in town. If I. Could get my money back I would. I would not ever ever recommend this particular facility.

Overall a dated property, needing remodeled

The air conditioning didnt work, and whrn i asked to change rooms i was declined to do so. The so called continental breakfast that was served consisted of snack cakes. The towels were dirt and worn out. The manager had to come to my room and program the T.V. which had a scratch on it and i couldnt help but stare at it, the whole time i was watching T.V. very disappointed and disgusted.

Check in went smooth, but after that went downhill. TV didn’t work, bed sheets had hair/pet hair on them (not washed?), window screen ripped and broken (see picture), door held to frame with straws (see picture), staining on towels (not washed?, see picture), asked for a new washcloth and was told “we don’t have any”, moldy around bathroom sink and faucet (see picture), strong odor in room, AC/heating wall unit was falling apart. Overall dirty and not well maintained. Parking was limited. We did not try the breakfast. Check out went fine.

Parking lot was cramped. The staff was very polite and efficient. The room was clean but outdated. Picture of shower curtain that was so worn it barely stayed on rod. Could not get into side door without someone opening from inside and the bushes were overgrown covering the sidewalk. At $237.15 per Friday/Saturday night you would expect better. Breakfast during the week was 2 kinds of cereal and yogurt. Not even bread for toast. It was a joke. Room smelled very musty, think air conditioning needed filter changed as the smell never got better all week. Good thing we didn’t spend much time in room. Front staff was great but manager refused to return phone calls to me or the company that booked my rooms.

The staff refused to give me a bottle for room even though I told them my girlfriend had health problems and could not walk up the stairs very well all the breakfast was is a bunch of stale cupcakes nasty waffles and yogurt the staff was rude mean and hateful I will never stay there again and would not recommend anybody else staying there it was the worst experience of my life and would not wish it upon any other person

Everything in this hotel was quite old and but everything did work. Sheets were sleazy, but towels, pillows, etc. were nice. The hotel was nice and quiet.Owner is very congenial and has done a magnificent job Landscaping his property. The breakfast was shockingly subpar with nothing hot except instant oatmeal. One lonely apple was left, no orange juice. Sorry to say I do not recommend this hotel.

The room was clean. staffs were friendly , helpful and respectful. We were told there would be unlimited breakfast but only cereal was available. Parking was easy .Location is near everything and highway . Only thing we didn’t like was all the men hanging around in the parking lot.

The room looked just like the photo on the website. However, the colorful bedspread was stained, and the chair was noticeably worn. The rest of the furniture was in decent condition. There were numerous signs listing do’s and don’ts, which gave an unwelcoming impression. The breakfast was as bleak as mentioned in other reviews, so that came as no surprise. Overall, I would not choose to stay here again.

There was NO HOT water to take a shower. The floor was dirty, the bottom of my white socks were black after walking around in the room trying to get dressed.

I was here five nights. The first night I did not have a remote or TV. The man on duty never brought it. I did not get one until shift change. Next morning, I found a lot of long black hair in the bathtub and on the shower walls. Most of the staff was very nice. The continental breakfast is a huge joke! They should not be allowed to call it continental. Package muffins, one kind of cereal… that was all.

Double charged for security deposit.

First night hall had dog food and trash bags still not removed after 3 p.m.

Might be one of the worst experiences of my life. Got into our room, smelled like smoke & had pet hair in the beds. Little sister went into the bathroom and got stuck. Door wouldn’t open on the inside or outside. She eventually had to rip off the door handle to get out. Shout out to the front desk staff for helping us, but overall would not recommend. Also, only returned the security deposit even though we ended up not staying there.

This hotel was not up to expectation. When arrived hotel has a musty smell. Overlooked that was checked in and then went to room and it also didn’t smell the best. I always turn back sheets on the bed at hotels and inspect for cleanliness, etc. The sheets were stained and had hair on them. Pillow cases smelled like sweat and stained and floors appeared dirty. I requested new sheets so I could change bedding myself. The hallways also smelled like marijuana which was horrible. Listen to reviews on this place.

Poor condition. Hair dryer burnt out and started fire. A/C intermittently worked. Ice machine on 1st floor leaking water and inoperable, electrical plug did not work unless having to push plug hard several times, facet knob in bathroom came loose, only cereal and yogurt available for breakfast, coffee dispenser in lobby consistantly empty, and difficulty working TV (settings in Spanish).

This hotel is not so nice. It smelled funny in the hall ways. Their breakfast was really poor, just 2 types of cereals and packaged oatmeal. Unless you are tight on money, don't stay here.

The ac was on 77 when we walked in, it was muggy and had flies!! After we killed 4, my son suggested maybe the window was open. Sure enough, it was cracked open and didn’t close properly. There were also unmentionable things on & in his bed. So gross.

A loud bumping noise at our door woke us up early on our 2nd day. It was a vacuum cleaner bumping our door while being used to vacuum the hallway. So unconsiderate. I got a text message at 8:00 am to checkout and to let them know what time we would be leaving the room. I checked out and put 11am to leave the room. We were awoken a second time at 10:00am with housekeeping knocking at our door!. I opened the door and told the housekeeper, we put 11 as our checkout and we were still asleep. She appoligized. It didn't seem very professionally ran. Probablly wouldn't stay at this Super 8 again.

Stay was ok but if you have an ESA animal you will still be paying. Was told that Arkansas doesn’t recognize ESA animals which I know is not true I have stayed in Fayetteville off and on for the last three years and this is the only hotel that argued with me about it, not worth the fight I paid stayed and left but won’t be returning. I like Sleep Inn better, better breakfast the Super 8 as well.

If I could give a negative rating I would. The photos of the motel ARE NOT THE SAME place. This place is filthy and disgusting. Every inch of the room was dirty. Drains don't drain, other peoples hair in the sink, tub, toilet and beds. This place needs a serious remodel.

I would say you get what you paid for, but in this case we were there for the super regional tournament, so there wasn’t a lot to choose from with availability. It was super convenient, but that was the only pro. The look of the outside of the property was brutal with broke down vehicles all in the parking lot. There was an awful smell that lingered throughout the entire place. The more stairs you climbed to get to your floor, the hotter it got. The room was fairly clean. The WiFi did not work. Our tv had no power cord. The bed was on a metal frame or something so it made awful squeaky noises every time you moved the slightest little bit. Fortunately, we did not have to spend a great deal of time there, but for future reference, we will definitely drive a little further.

This property was over run with homeless people, the room was dirty, shower did not drain, toilet was fueling from poor pumping, paid extra pet deposit fee plus a daily pet fee extra, landscape not mowed and unable to take dog out for walk, homeless people outside smoking marijuana, felt unsafe, staff was rude, highly would not recommend. Left a day early because I began to feel sick.

Underlying charges

I wish I had taken photos, but the hotel smelled like mothballs and smoke. I purchased a non-smoking room, but it smelt like smoke, and the comforter had cigarette burns on it, along with some crusty white stuff on the window curtain. They did not have an ironing board or an iron, and you could hear absolutely everything from the room above mine. This hotel was my last resort due to the 2025 high school graduation that took place here, and all rooms were sold out in the vicinity, but never again.

The air conditioning unit KEPT going out. At one point, it shut off on its own and NEVER came back on. The floors are so weak and they have soft spots everywhere. One of the staff came into our room unannounced WHILE we were dressing and stood in the doorway, EVEN after she knew she was in the wrong room. Some of the staff are a little aggressive. You would think that they would be a little more hospitable, since they jacked the prices up for graduation weekend. Some of the amenities are out dated…. The accessibility for the handicap is very inconvenient and not very accessible. None of the security features work. That turned the room key off hours before check out. The side doors don’t lock. They have the audacity to have PLENTY of rules taped all around about preserving the towels. One of the rooms smelled of smoke so bad(it is a non smoking hotel) it had to be switched out. It really seems very cheaply put together, and very overpriced for what is offered. They are suppose to have breakfast but they have little to no options and what they do have available, they limit you to 1 item per plate. Overall it served the purpose of showering(after I cleaned the hair out of the tub) and sleeping. If you are looking for any more than that, especially at their price gouging, go anywhere else!!

I wouldn’t stay here again. I booked through the app, paying $284 upfront, only to be hit with an unexpected $125 in additional charges before checking out. This included a $50 deposit fee, despite already prepaying, and another unexplained $50 charge. On top of that, I was charged $25 for a late checkout at 1:00 PM, which I had requested in advance—yet staff kept entering the room every 15 minutes without knocking, essentially forcing us to leave by 11:30 AM. The lack of communication and unnecessary fees made for an overall frustrating experience.

I chose this based on price hoping it would be a good value but it did NOT meet those expectations. The place feels dirty and smells--I joked to the clerk checking me in asking me to sign the "no smoking" pledge how he was going to distinguish whether anyone smokes since the lobby area smelled like cigarette smoke. Probably because the room was so cheap, my value expectations were too high BUT if one is a professional traveling on business, this place is NOT for you.

Very rude front desk lady. Did not provide us with cleaning towels after requested. So i had to use a washrag to clean up my sons spilled dr pepper. Upon check out we went down to collect our deposit and was told we was not getting our 50$ deposit back bc we had used a wash rag to clean it up when we told them we requested one and neve rgot it she told us well to bad you are not fetting your deposit

We stayed with our 2 small dogs. Intetnet site said $25 per dog but we were charged a total of $70 even though the site still says $25 per dog. We were told breakfast came with make your own waffle station. When we went in we found we had a choice of raisin bran, frosted flakes, or oatmeal from packets. Took our dogs out to the back yard and it was littered with dog feces. This is not the fault of the motel but a commentary on unresponsive pet owners.

They use a solution on the floors that leaves a greasy type residue on the floors. If you're not careful, the bathroom could be your demise ! Also, it's backed up tp a trailer park and the back of the building is a dog toilet !

night shift guy is creepy

The first clerk was nice to us on 04/04/2025 when checking us in a room. When we get to the room only one rolls of tissue no extra if run out. Look under the sink in the bathroom a little piece of hair is tape under there, we didn’t it off. Started to take a bath and saw hair in water while running it so I decided to clean the tub out while we staying there. The clerk this morning 04/06/25 I did the clerk about the bathroom.

Stayed on the 1st floor, found bugs (small roach type looking bugs) 2-3 times during overnight stay. When we mentioned it to the front desk at check out they said we should have let them know earlier and showed it to them.

I didn't realize this was the motel I was booking at. We had stayed here a few years ago, and swore to not stay again after the black stuff that came off their floors onto my baby's feet. The floors in those rooms have never seen a mop! The amount of black stuff immediately on his feet, was like walking in fresh tar. It was like that the last time too. I of course tried to keep his socks and shoes on, but he is two years old so you know how that is. But I couldn't believe it hadn't changed or seen a mop yet. I had hoped maybe it was just that one room we got a little over a year ago. Unfortunately this room was exactly the same way. They had the nerve to go check the room before I left. I would not find this odd, if the room was in better condition when we arrived.

The place is definitely beat up and needs updated. Reeks of weed. There are signs everywhere telling you not to leave anything unlocked which doesn’t make you feel safe. The hotel is conveniently seated between a trailer park and a vape and liquor store. There is also a $50 deposit fee which you don’t know about until check in.

The bar group came in at 2:30 and partied until at least 5 am. My husband heard the people next to us having sex all night. It smelled terrible. There was 2 muffins and 4 yogurt’s for breakfast for the whole motel. And I never heard of the small muffin brand. Totally disappointed in the less than 12 hours we stayed The shower looked gross. I would have rather spent that extra $50 on a nice room

Horrible stay. Room was disgusting. We found a cigarette butt and our sheets had stains. Tv didn’t work. Sink didn’t drain. There’s a TON of construction going on and the front office doesn’t even resemble the pictures. The bed was awful, very noisey and squeaking throughout the room. Truly was one of the worst hotel stats I’ve ever had.

Hotel is close to the interstate but it was nice and quiet. Room was clean just wish I had gotten one with a microwave. Breakfast was a let down. There was not much to choose from.

The breakfast left a lot to be desired. All they had was 2 kinds of cold cereal, instant oatmeal, yogurt.and juice. No muffins, no toast, no eggs and sausage and no waffles like they use to serve there. I visit Fayetteville every Christmas to visity kids. Looks like I will be finding another place to lodge for next year.

As soon as we walked in we could smell drugs. The clerk was around the corner smoking. My bed made so much noise even if I walked by it. The next morning we asked about breakfast and the morning clerk told us it is what it is. We had to wait until the head housekeeper got in at 8 for her to make food. The morning clerk was very rude to several people.
