I’ve stayed in rundown motels and I know what to expect and what I’m getting for my money. But this place was unacceptable and for around $90 a night it’s upsetting. There were so many bugs in my room. And everything was extremely dirty. When I first got to my room I killed around 20 bugs crawling on the floor, walls, countertop, and fridge door. I was grossed out but gave the place a chance. When I got back to my room later in the evening and turned the lights on to discover tons of bugs crawling all over my bed and my kids bed I quickly packed up and left to stay elsewhere. I contacted the hotel and they gave a full refund without any hassle which was appreciated and that was the best part about the whole experience.

I messaged hotel during business hours indicating I would be checking in late. No reply received. I arrive at hotel and check in desk is closed. There is a phone located next to check in desk for late check ins. I call multiple times and can hear the phone ringing on the other side of the barrier covering front desk. I was there for over 25 min with no worker in sight and no help. I go to the hotel next door to book a different room and ask about WoodSpring. I am told it was a blessing in disguise that we weren’t able to check in. The hotel is filthy, bugs reported and my experience happens all the time. Do not go here. Please avoid!

They wouldn't let us check in because they said their system was down so we had to pay extra for a room at another hotel. When I called the next day to see if their system was back up so we could check in for the rest of our booked and paid for stay, I was informed that because we didn't check in the night before, our reservation was canceled and given to someone else. We were over 3 hours away from home with no place to stay as every hotel was booked due to college graduation and last home baseball game. I am very disappointed and angry at the whole situation and DO NOT recommend this place!!!!

Vent-a-Hood hasn't been cleaned in years. Light and fan didn't work. The entry door was so quirky that the staff had to explain exactly how to open it or you'd never get in. Looks okay outside but the inside is BEAT UP.

When I arrived to my first room, there were beer cans in the trash can, room smelled like smoke, toilet was running and dirty. The nice guy working the desk did switch me to a new room. That room had been cleaned but the pillow cases were yellow, the smell of room was so bad that it was hard to breathe. I left property immediately because I could not sleep there.

What made this worse was being told to contact Expedia for cancellation, even though the issue was entirely on the hotel’s side. As a guest, this is unacceptable. If a hotel cannot honor confirmed bookings, there should at least be a clear contingency plan or immediate resolution. This caused a complete waste of time and unnecessary stress. Be cautious when booking through third-party platforms. If something goes wrong, you may be left dealing with both sides and getting no immediate resolution.

It was the worst place I ever stayed at. It was filthy, the sink in the bathroom was pouring water out of it. The whole place reeked of Marijuana. I actually witnessed a guy smoking pot sitting outside. There was cockroaches and the room smelled of pot and mold. I spent my whole night coughing from the mold. Vending machines didn't work and it was supposed to be a smoke free facility but I smelled cigarette smoke and Marijuana all night long.

The condition of the room was completely unacceptable. The bedding was visibly dirty, and the loveseat in the room was damaged with multiple holes. To make matters worse, the elevator stopped working during our stay which added the overall inconvenience. I brought these issues to the attention of the front desk, but no one offered any effort to resolve them. I was not offered clean sheets or an alternative room. Due to the unsanitary and uncomfortable conditions we did not feel safe staying in the room and had to sleep our car and checked out a day early. The experience was extremely disappointing and far below any reasonable standard of hospitality.

I didn’t end up staying here because of the cockroaches and the smell. The staff said they would submit something to Expedia for a refund. I prefer to reach out to Expedia and let them know to take this property off of their website. This should not be a property that they promote. I will say the staff was upfront and honest as soon as I walked in to check in, “this property has cockroaches“. I almost could’ve gotten over the cockroaches, but it was the chemical smell that got stuck on my throat. I couldn’t breathe and coughed nonstop for hours after I left. Still hoping for thst refund!

The property looks nice on the outside & photographs well. Our room was dreadful! Roaches everywhere!!! Window shade fell off when we tried to pull it down & hit one guest's head. Bathroom sink caulking was peeling off. Brown filth behind faucet. Bathroom door was damaged & wouldn't lock. Toilet ran constantly. Floor was dirty. Noisy because some guests were carousing in the hallway overnite. Only one electrical socket worked in the room. When we checked out, the reception area was locked & no staff was available for us to inform them of their problems. We didn't even try to have breakfast, which was part of what we paid for, because the room experience was so bad. I believe we should receive a full refund AND that Orbitz should not represent this hotel. WE'LL NEVER AGAIN STAY AT AN EXTENDED STAY PROPERTY!!!

We had to call from lobby phone to get someone to come and check in. Clerk arrived 15 minutes later, disheveled and extremely rude. The entire property smelled awful. The room was gross and filthy. The toilet had not been cleaned and had black mold growing in it. The walls were disgusting and had dark splatter all over them. The smell was a nauseating mix of urine, feces, body odor and cigarettes. We had no choice but to stay the one night. The next morning, it was worse when in the daylight we could actually see just how nasty the room was. Roaches were present, both dead and alive. We packed up and left with one night remaining. The most disgusting hotel we have ever seen. DO NOT STAY HERE regardless of the rate. It should be condemned.

I got to the hotel to check in and was refused service, the desk clerk was rude and refused to let me check in and then threatened me if I didn't leave the hotel premises. I will never book at this hotel again. After being refused service I was still charged for the room for 2 nights.

I arrived around 12:30 to the lobby being closed and a gate on the window. I had to call an automated number which rang some phone in the office but couldn’t get anyone to come check me in until I waited on hold long enough to get the over the phone help to call the attendant directly then had to wait awhile for them to show up. I’ve never had a check in experience make me feel like the hotel didn’t want me there until this visit. The room wasn’t super dirty but it was far from “clean” as well. The next morning I was woken up to the front desk clerk knocking on my door to remind me of check out which was very annoying and frustrating.

This is an extended stay style property, but the clientele here are not the traveling professional that needs a hotel for a few weeks. Think “I just got out of jail or rehab and I need a place until I can get on my feet”. Check in clerk was noticeably high. Room was generally clean but in disrepair (bathroom door wouldn’t shut, shower surround peeling off wall, etc). Several residents just hanging out in the parking lot smoking and purchasing goods and services. Most of the cars in the parking lot were full of belongings. Obviously serving a purpose for some, but I will definitely stay somewhere else next time.

The smell in the hallways made me gag. Thankfully my room was not that way. Everything was dirty & the bright spotlights from the hotel next door made it impossible to have the room dark at night for sleeping. Not that you could sleep on the very hard, springy mattress. I would not have elected the extended stay but other hotels were booked so I was left with this option. I had immediate regrets & will never stay at an extended stay again.

I should’ve taken previous feedback about this hotel more seriously. There were multiple comments about cockroaches that I chose to ignore until I experienced it my self on day one. I tried to call the office as soon as I noticed them in the bathroom only to find out that the phone doesn’t work. I called front desk from my cell since I was on the third floor, Lauren apologized but she said there in nothing that can be done to spray since it’s the weekend. You have to ask for toilet paper and towels- no soap. I guarantee that that particular room has not been cleaned up since I walked on the floor and the shoes were sticking to the ground from all the grease residue from cooking, behind the bathroom door was filthy, sink not clean and both bed were squeaky jut to sit on them. This is by far the worst experience I’ve had in any hotel. I absolutely do not recommend it, please seriously consider the feedback left. I haven’t even mentioned the people outside in the parking lot sitting in their cars, area is not safe either.

This is not a hotel you want to book in advance or to stay at for a football game or visit to your college student. Our room was dirty to the point that we did not use the shower or walk barefoot. There was a constantly barking dog. The smells were bad. This is the place you stay when there are no other options.

We have stayed in Extended stay places before but this was the bottom. A Kitchen but not a glass, plate, fork or anything. No ice machine, smelled like marjiauna in the hallway and no counter space in the bathroom. My wife commented that it it seemed they were going for the absolute cheapest everything from the plastic chairs to sit in to the TV that did not respond to the remote. They also gouged the price because it was a football weekend at over an additional $85 a night over the normal weekend rate. ALL of that we would have made the best of without complaint but when we walked across the “hard wood” floors in our sock feet, the floor was nasty. I can take a lot of things in a hotel but being dirty is not one. I will tell anyone that will listen your place is a solid NO!

The young man at the desk was friendly. Beyond that I have nothing nice to say. The parking lot was full of random sketchy people wandering around. The whole building smelled like a Grateful Dead concert. Our room had guests in the form of roaches already checked in, and the room was disgusting and dirty. The office closed at 10pm, I had checked in about 9pm, got keys and went to grab dinner before seeing room. No way I was staying there. I reached out to hotels com for help. They attempted to contact property w no luck. So I am out $400+ and out another $400+ for a clean room. I am beyond furious and will continue to try and get my money back. Do Not stay here ever....ever, ever, ever

Dirty and in very poor condition. Halls and elevator smelled bad. Our room had things smeared on the headboard, one wall appeared to have mildew growing, bathroom light fixture covered in rust, bathroom floor warped and filthy in corners. Very limited items supplied - no hair dryer, no Kleenex, no bedside lamp, no drapes over broken mini blinds. Very disappointing.

First, I did not feel very welcome by the staff. There was no “good mornings” or “how is your stay” or anything. Most of the time the staff behind the desks were zoned into their tablets/computers. There was a lack of social awareness. Second, the door to get into the main part of the hotel was very inconvenient to use. You had to use your room key for entry and then turn the handle all the way down for door to work. I understand it is probably for safety reasons, but when the staff at the front desk mentioned it is a bad door and hard to use…why not fix it? The room was putrid. Walk in and there is a musty/stale smell. The fridge and microwave was not cleaned at all. The fridge had a cardboard (probably the bottom from a 12 pack) stuck to the fridge inside. The microwave had crumbs all over. The bathroom tub was insulting. Slime and residue was still in the tub. The fact that I had to wear flip flops while showering is embarrassing. Strands of hair on the toilet immediately points to the fact that this room (and possibly others) was not cleaned. And one bar of soap? No shampoo or conditioner bottles? The kitchen area had no utensils or cooking wear to use…even though I wouldn’t want to use anything. I didn’t even sleep under covers because of possibility of bed bugs. This was an America Extended Stay Select Suites? Yeah right

We are here for a school trip. The hotel is dirty, it's poorly staffed. I went and bought bleach spray/disinfectant wipes and Lysol spray to get us through one night. Had it not been for a school trip, I would have left.

Upon checking in and getting to our room, we found it was beyond disgusting. Completely dated, looks to have never been cleaned. We immediately went down to get a refund and went to stay some place else. I was told my card was credited, but I'm still waiting to see if that actually happens.

There was not any staff available for quite some time to check me in. There was trash on the floor. It smelled. So, I did not stay there. I need a full refund. The manager left a sign which was hand written that they were not available. There was a woman somewhere coughing and gagging. I felt I might get bed bugs. I would not recommend this property to anyone!!

It was a lot to deal with. If every hotel is full I'd say go for it. But it's not the best hotel around. It just wasn't as great as the pictures look. The beds were uncomfortable and my husband and I ended up leaving early. I even saw a roach so..

It was not great. Water was leaking from the ceiling immediately when you passed the front desk. The bed sheets, blankets and comforters as well as the shower had other people’s hair on them. The floor had spills on them. The remote for the tv would not change the channel. It was SO not worth $130. If I could have packed up and left I definitely would have opted for that.
