Pictures are deceiving on website.. I paid for a jetred tub room-unable to use- no way to plug tub up.. fridge had loud hum all night, premises and hallways dirty, full of teash- due to the hotels.com website incorrect advertising- there is a Sunshine I and a Sunshine II.. Sunshine I took my money, but didnt have jetted room, stated they were unable to refund money- so sent me to Sunshine II.. who didntcallow dogs (I have a dog and paid extra deposit at Sunshine I). Manger made an 'exception' for my dog.. since no dogs or smoking allowed in jetted room- however room smelled of old cigarette smoke and unable to use jetted room. I could of just paid for a regular room and not wasted 1.5 hours of my time trying to get the jetted room issue updated.

My experience with this is the worse I have had in my life. Is was so bad that I don't think I will use Expedia again.

The health dept closing down the breakfast sign was nice. The microwave missing a door was fun. While the staff was very friendly, the pictures on the website came np where close to what you werr actually staying in.

It was a very dirty place inside and out. No beds in first room we had.

Do not book. Trust me on this one. Staff are excellent but rooms are scary.

I understand that this a cost friendly option. However it falls well below the mark of any comfort, cleanliness and safety. Horrible experience! Frankly I shocked that hotels.com would have this as an option on there platform. Not as advertised and Truly disappointing. The list is too long to mention all the items wrong with this experience. Overall reconsider booking here unless you don’t value personal higiene and safety.

We did not stay. It was in a drug infested area and hotel is in a bad condition. There was a party going on in parking lot with local homeless people and hotel staff.

The jacuzzi was great! The room was pretty nice. Would like coffee in room. The halls and grounds outside need work!

The staff was friendly and helpful. It's not the best part of town but it's a decent room for the price. The bed was comfortable and everything was clean

The front and side doors were just propped open open. Many people lingering around. Broken glass from broken car windows all over the back parking lot. I could go on, but it's not worth my time. I locked my credit card immidiately to make sure they didn't charge me for the room they didn't have for me. I wouldn't put it past this company.... definitely gave me the feeling of a scam, whether purposely overbooking to make sure enough people actually stayed there or charging the people too offended by the property to stay there. Worst booking mistake I have ever made. I can't believe expedia even allows they to be on their website.

Horrible. The room I booked was not available. The bed had feces on it, and nothing was clean. Terrible experience.

The rooms needs to be cleaned more thoroughly

we got a hot tub room and the hot tub did not work. The front office guy came down and was not able to fix it. He asked me to come up to the front to get partial payment returned to me. He saud he wasnt able to do it at the moment but he would leave a note so when i checked out in the morning the person working could process the refund. When I went to check out there was no note left so i did not get a refund.

This place is out dated and dirty I’ll never go back there the ac wasn’t working and it had a funny smell nasty ass place it doesn’t look anything like the pictures stay away unless you a smoker or something

Had a great weekend. Staff is amazing.

Sketchy area, industrial side of town. Did not feel safe leaving my car in dimly-lit parking lot. Used needles around property grounds, lots of trash too.

The place was located in a questionable neighborhood.

My 5 year old, husband and I stayed here this weekend. As soon as we pulled in we knew we were in a bad motel. There was trash everywhere and the scariest people wondering around the parking lot. We got the "jetted tub" room...in quotes because the jets dont work, the tub barely holds water, and the warer isnt even warm. Its the only reason we got this room and paid a little extra, was for that tub...but its broken!!! The bed had dog hair in the incredibly old sheets. Every towel in the room had a curious looking dark stain, im actually not sure if the towels were clean. The carpet definately was not cleaned and probably hadnt been vaccuummed since the late 90's. This is way beyond being a covid safe environment because theres no cleaning anywhere on the premises. The hallways had peanut shells crushed into the floor, and blood stains, amongst other things. OH, how could I forget, the head bored to the frame of the bed, isnt actually attached to the frame, and had nails poking out of it, real safe for a child huh!? The refrigerator wouldnt keep anything cold either. Lets not forget the transients sleeping by our window who did crack infront of us. Yes by far the worst place I have ever stayed. We cancelled our second night, but the manager at the front desk is pretending hes not the manager and wont refund us for the night we did stay.

There was a death on the property while i stayed there but noone informed me of why or what was the death.

It was horrible and I would not recommend it for anyone.

Check-in was performed by polite young man, but took about 15 minutes. Meanwhile, his mgr was talking LOUDLY to her friend 5 ft from the desk. The check-in software must be archaic, because he performed A LOT of keystrokes to get me checked in. After checking in, I proceeded to the room. There was a small amount of trash strewn about the hallways, and many stains on the carpet and walls. The room had fewer stains, but still emitted the vibe of "heroin shooting gallery" or "hooker haven." The bathroom was fine, and the bed was surprisingly comfortable. I went out for dinner, and upon returning saw 3 "pretty hard up" women on the sidewalk and stairwells enroute to my room. I got the my room safely, and locked the door...and didn't come out until the morning. I used to work in the news media, and I've attended my share of murder scenes. This place reminded of those places. Don't stay here unless you have a taste for danger, and you're willing to defend yourself to the death. wifi speed was between 1-2 Mbps. Good for web pages, but not netflix streaming.

We ended up not staying here after all. Which im super upset about having to find another hotel. We ended up staying down the street at Travel Lodge. The place was trashy. Lots of people who actually lived in this place. It looked like apartments. Walked in had no desk area and entered the hallway beyond a door and screamed nope. It was literally disgusting!! I recommend hugely that you take this off of you site. Goodness gracious.

Took forever to get my.door unlocked. Never recieved keys that actually worked

Internet was down because of a traffic accident so check in was delayed. Card info written down then given room transaction delayed until internet working. No television access for several hours either. Only one bathmat and towel in room, had to ask for more at front desk. Shampoo and conditioner packets impossible to open, couldn't use

They didn't tell me about a deposit in which I did not have so I had to sleep in my car.

They need to hire a maintenance guy or a housecleanter right away. The hotel has potential but it really needs a thorough cleaning.

Room was gross. Towels had weird hard black stuff in them. Bathroom sink was dirty. Room smelled. People fighting all night long, obvious drug deals outside in the parking lot, stairs smelled like urine...it was just horrible.

Took over an hour to get checked into a very smoke filled drug filled property. Front desk let phones ring off the hook. Sad

Front desk had trouble with their "door lock system" when we arrived. But had it straight by the time we returned from show. Fridge in our friends room had been off and not cleaned. Kinda gross. Old hotel, old fixture, old linens. In industrial part of town so a little sketchy. In town to see Kiss and get lit. Perfect hotel for my needs! Front desk check in and checkout peoples were very pleasant and appreciated!

Possibly got bed bugs, however staff was considerate in switching rooms to GuestInn. Sunshine motel II is the worst experience to endure.

This jotel is not what they say roaches.spiders,stinks,amd tje room smells as well as the bedding smells like its not clean and the appliances are very dirty

Ask for first floor I'm a senior man handicapped put me on the third floor elevator doesn't work had to carry luggage up three flights of stairs with no help when I checked in they said if you wanted it a hotel with an elevator you should have booked at Lamplighter

Broken windows, doors open, boarded up reception, liquor bottles. Pics on hotel.com very misleading, appear to be of the guesthouse hotel in front of this motel

There was human fluids dried up on the bed when we were checking out the room

Sooo of course all other hotels were booked due to the lucky concert. We needed 2 beds so this is what we booked. The staff was awesome!!! But let’s be real... sketch AF lol tears in furniture etc. but room was big, fridge, basics. We had fun! It was what it was but definitely wouldn’t plan a trip to stay here hahah

We didn't stay there, but upgraded to Guest House

The only reason we stayed was because of the location to the Tacoma Dome. The hotel is in need of serious maintenance. Holes in the walls, ripped and dirty carpets and furniture, no heat and I'm pretty sure the lower level is rented out as apartments, or it appeared that way with the crowd hanging around outside. Better off spending the extra $40 to stay down the road!

We stayed at the sunshine II. This hotel is in back of the main hotel and seems to cater to long term tennents. The room we stayed in was dirty, smelled, had an uncomfortable bed and was all around the worst room I have ever paid money to stay in. We were down for a concert at the Tacoma dome and had reservations at another hotel that got cancelled last minute. With so many people in town there weren't many options and we ended up here. We had friends who stayed in another room and I will say theirs was much better, not nice by any means but much cleaner than ours. If you have any other option I would recommend you take it. Don't stay here!
