The property is very old and dingy. The rooms and the corridors are badly in need of renovation. When we were there the elevator was not working and someone was stuck in it. Not sure if it is a one time thing or recurring incident. Overall I wouldn’t recommend it.

Our room smelled like smoke. There were coffee grounds on the entry way and had asked the front desk to have someone vacuum while we were out and it was never done. We had to clean it ourselves. Unfortunately, I can’t recommend this hotel.

The laundromat coin system was not easy to navigate. The bar code on the washing machine was torn off and not able to be scanned. The front desk manager stated to go online and start an account. Not laundry friendly. Other hotels have easier customer use.

First off, I think it’s false advertising to say breakfast buffet included but charge extra for it. I thought included meant free, it is not. The breakfast was an additional $20 and for that reason, I wouldn’t stay here again. I did like that I got a text from the staff asking how check in was. I didn’t respond because it was kinda late but I got a follow up text the next day. I let them know that the large lamp in my room wasn’t working (it was missing a bulb). They were able to fix it sometime that day before I got back. As for cleanliness, the corners of the room, like under the nightstands, didn’t look clean but everything else was okay. I liked that the rooms had a Keurig machine, microwave and mini fridge.

The location was perfect for the event that we were there for. within about 2 miles away. None of the USB ports worked in the room. and 1/2 of the electrical ports as well. So, that posed a problem for the kids. Also, the cook did not show up on Valentines day so we ended up ordering pizza in the room from Domino's.

Coffee maker was broken. It took several attempts before it would function. What irritated me was staff saying they would look at it only for them to come back to me suggesting I failed to add water. That's insulting. I had debated using the spa tub but it was disgusting. Reported that to staff for them to tell me it had just been cleaned yesterday. The algae was well set on the bottom indicating it hadn't been cleaned in a while. 4 days later it was still untouched. Consider the Hampton Inn next door instead

Room was neglected, couldn't get house keeping to clean much less provide clean towels. Very dissatisfied. Never again at tbat location. I would request for 1/2 of .t money back, immediately.

The room was great, peaceful environment, clean room and friendly staff.

Overall it is a nice clean facility. There is no free breakfast, which is fine given a coffee shop with breakfast is nearby. A nice breakfast at the coffee shop was $14 for two where the hotel was $18-20 for one person. We wanted to stay another night (long story) and could not be given a room for a two night stay. Appears someone booked the specific room we were assigned. As we were on a business trip, we checked out at 8AM with our luggage and checked back in at 8PM after a challenging day. Convenience had a price.

I know that the rooms were in process of being remodeled, but it lacked cleanliness and lighting . Honestly, I feel that I was robbed. I don’t feel that I receive the proper hospitality that I would when I’ve stayed in numerous Hilton Gardens suites as a matter fact, I found it a bit degrading that I recently stayed at Hilton Gardens in Mexico and there amenities and the cleanliness of the rooms were a lot better than here

I liked my clean comfortable room at this hotel. The room was spacious with a large desk, sofa, comfortable bed, microwave and mini-fridge. There is a restaurant downstairs which is very handy, and there is a small pool and jacuzzi. The only problem I observed was some black mold in the shower.

We were put on the 3rd floor, upon exiting the elevators saw the ice machine was out of order. Then walking down the hallway there was a weird smell and lots of floor air blowers going looks like they had a major water leak. They were a bit noisy as well. The ac in the room was a bit wonky and didn’t seem to cycle right got extremes of hot and cold and could never get it out just maintain a comfortable level. The fridge in room didn’t hardly get cold. Over all would probably select a different hotel next time. The young lady we checked in with on Saturday night was very friendly and handled the system being down like a champ. Very professional and friendly. The check in system was down so couldn’t check in officially but she was able to work around that.

This is a very comfortable hotel. The restaurant serves breakfast, lunch and dinner. They serve cookies every day at the front desk. My room was nice and came with a refrigerator and microwave. There is a small pool and jacuzzi outside. It is close to restaurants, stores, and the tollway.

Did not have the roll-in shower that was reserved. Keys didn’t work. One elevator didn’t work. Shade had holes and curtain didn’t pull across. Very disappointed

When we checked in, the roll-in shower room we reserved was not available. None of the keys worked & you had to hunt down staff anytime you wanted to get back into your room.my nephew was issued the wrong key and someone was already in the room. There was a constant smell of burnt wires in our room and the smoke alarm was wrapped in plastic. One elevator was inoperable. The pull-down shade had holes & gashes. 2 night stay and room was never cleaned.

Really enjoyed the stay the staff was wonderful and helpful, Bryan in the bar/restaurant area was friendly and his service was amazing.

I stayed for two nights. Booked a king bed room. But was given a double bed room. The walls are so thin so you can hear everyone and everything. If you’re there for business might be ok. I was there for a visit with my family. But I didn’t want to be up at 6am with all the loud sounds.

Hilton never disapoints

It feels like a third world country of staffers with no training. The Asian girl at the front desk has an attitude, the housekeepers apparently speak no English as they never understand come back in an hour to clean the room and simply never come back. The management is running the hotel into the ground. The laundry room machines do not work and apparently it has been this way for quite sometime and they simply do not call to have them replaced or fixed. Stay here at your own risk but I strongly recommend avoiding this area and the hotels in this area. Stay north of Irvine spectrum because people in this backwards town of Lake Forest obviously never got the memo that customer service is everything.

Thought I had lost the other when I went to pay at a local restaurant. Later they called my room and said they “found” my card. A mix up for sure but am grateful for them returning it. Other than that? I recommend this hotel!

Upon arrival at the property I was not greeted by the front desk personnel. The front desk employee tinkered with the computer while I stood there waiting to be acknowledged for check in. Also my AMEX Platinum and Visa cards were declined even though it had sufficient funds. Luckily another Visa card worked. Not a good first impression of the property upon check in. The hotel room floor looked dirty with shoe marks. This will be the first and last time I stay here.

We experienced a very disappointing situation. A month ago, we made a reservation for two queen beds to accommodate our party of four, as a sofa bed was not a suitable option for us. Even though we completed an online check-in the day before arrival, our room was changed to one bed and a sofa bed without any prior notification or explanation. This was extremely inconvenient and frustrating.

The hotel was incredibly unclean. The bed had noticeable stains, suggesting a lack of proper laundering. The carpet was filthy, and the bathroom was disgusting. After a long drive from Arizona, we were too exhausted to relocate or request a room change. We used extra blankets to cover the bed, but still woke up with insect bites on our feet. Please do not be fooled by the positive reviews for this hotel. They are clearly inaccurate. I'm unsure how this establishment obtained a license, but I will do my best to report it and prevent others from suffering a similar experience.

The price was really quite low. Property matched my minimal expectations for that price. Beds were comfy and clean. Hallways, carpets, etc were very dated and some in bad shape. Nothing fancy, but easily served purpose of a safe clean place to stay for low price.

A motor was running all night run, which made sleeping a bit difficult.

The carpet in my room was ripped and stained. The blinds were rolled, bent and stuffed into place half way up the dirty window. I changed rooms and the carpet stains were sticky. I'll pay more to stay elsewhere from now on.

The room wasn't to bad for the price. But the mini fridge didn't work, the bathroom floor was caving in and unsettling. We needed clean towels and toilet paper and I asked the front desk but they never brought us anymore. The assistant manager that was working the front desk on our last day wasn't very kind. Not the worst place to stay but wouldn't go there myself again.

Housekeeping was mediocre. Not enough towels and the lotion bottle was empty. Hear from my sister that the shampoo bottle in her room was also empty.

The staff was very kind and accommodating. The rooms were not very clean. The floors had crumbs on them. The air conditioner vent had mold in it. The bed sheets were clean but I wouldn't stay here again. The hallway smelled very bad.

My husband and I played a game. Guess what hotel chain owned this before it was a Hilton. We both said Days Inn at the same time. The front lobby is beautiful! Then you get to the dirty, worn out elevator… and it’s all downhill from there. The hallway carpet on our floor had a huge bleach stain against the wall like there was probably a throw up accident. It was an old hotel. Beds were good and pull out was comfy though. Gym was adequate and there were several options within walking distance for dinner. Loved the free parking!

The property needs an update. Carpet in the halls and in the elevator were dirty. We didn’t get into the pool. It was also dirty around the pool. Room was clean, bed was comfy. It was quiet. Didn’t hear any noise. The bathroom sink would clog up every time we used it. Mentioned it to the person who checked us in. Nobody came by to check it. Check out took forever as there was only one person at the desk. It was an ok stay. We won’t be back.

I had holes in my windowshade that didn't work, stained carpet, and sticky floors. I was also in the room next to the ice maker and had no idea how often people got ice, and at all hours of the night, until my stay. Not much you can do about it but got very little sleep.

Rooms were outdated. The hot tub was green. Overall mediocre.

They did a fantastic job of managing the Microsoft outage. I really enjoyed my stay. I will be returning.

Nice, clean and cozy, great bed. Pool is too small, a couple of kids in there and you have no room.About 1/2 hour from beach though.

Had a minor fire incident in hotel. No notification from management to evacuate only left because could smell smoke then the alarms went of. Had to ask firemen when safe to return to rooms. No management called room to make sure everyone was okay.

The location is great with many food options, grocery store, Target. I was surprised how filthy the hallway carpets were and the room was a little run down. Bed was squeaky, sheets and blanket weren’t comfortable and the pillows were small and only 3 for a large bed.

Needs some upgrades! Funky bed—clean but needs to be replaced. Carpeting worn to a frazzle! Problem with grab bar. Almost would have had a law suit on your hands when it malfunctioned and I almost fell. Very poor for a HILTON.

Not happy with my stay here at Hilton Garden. There were stains all over the counters, it looked like the cleaners could not even clean the most basic things. I’m talking about coffee, stains and Kool-Aid stains on the table. Basic stuff. The desk lamp did not work and they gave me some stupid excuse about, waiting for parts. Just an overall very below average experience. Front desk attendees were also bad at Answering questions, when they didn’t know the answer to something they just made it up instead of asking for help from a supervisor. Poorly trained.

Pleasant surprise for the price. Check in was easy, the room was spacious and had all that you would hope for even for an expensive stay some place else. There was a microwave, a fridge, a tub, the bed was soft and cozy. Breakfast was lovely even though that wasn’t included. Check out was later than usual so u got a little extra time. I loved it.

Customer service was great! The furniture in the room had stains on them, the bathroom shower floor was dirty, and the carpets in the hallway needed a vacuum.

Paper thin walls! No conditioner in the shower! Is it really too much to ask that the refillable containers are actually filled!?!!! Went down to front desk, 2 out of 5 requests were for conditioner, so a real problem that they haven't figured out. It's not hard folks. No accommodation offered for inconveniences! I left a request for manger to follow up, he never did.

Good place for a few days stay. A bit more attention to details in the room could improve guests experience. The bed frame was uncover and seemed old, the room was missing a suitcase stand the blinds were a bit weathered. But overall satisfactory.

This is a great hotel for a casual stay, clean, reasonable pricing, good location, and very friendly staff. My only negative would be understaffed. When we request anything, we have to go to the lobby to collect it versus getting it delivered to our door step.

No front desk attendants present at our check-in arrival time. Bathroom faucet was broken and barely attached. Rooms on the south facing side of building (towards front entrance) are located above the building’s exhaust and can hear the loud blowing noise all day and night.

This was just an average Hilton. Very disappointed that they wanted to charge nearly $19 for breakfast, when other hotels offer the same food or better for free. Not great, but not bad either. Close to shopping and food. Staff were nice.
