All of the renovation upgrades paid off we thoroughly enjoyed our stay this is a hotel that we will revisit again once we return to South Florida. The restaurant and bar staff made the biggest impact on our stay which allowed us to enjoy it even more.

I love this hotel. It’s beautiful inside as well as outside. Not too many people in the pool.

Older property with some character. The hotel could use updates, but overall it was a quiet and convenient stay. Our suite met our needs, and I appreciated the balcony, separate living area, and adjustable workstation. There were a few minor maintenance issues, but the atrium was beautiful and gave the space a nice indoor/outdoor feel.

I complained to their Customer Support 800 number when I was informed that I would need to pay $35 per person for breakfast even though I chose this hotel because it was advertised as having Breakfast Included. Breakfast Included with Hotels.com simply means that breakfast is "available" and may need to be purchased on your own at an additional cost. The Hotels.com website breakfast option needs to be revised to read "Breakfast Available" instead of "Breakfast Included", because breakfast IS NOT included with their reservations. My complaint unfortunately was ignored. This is a blatant case of false advertising.

Worst hotel stay ever, by far!! Would not recommend this hotel to anyone. The bar was closed most of the time and I even took pictures because I couldn’t believe it. When I inquired about the bar being closed I was told there was no one to work and the bar manager went to get items for the bar. They charged me $5 per package delivered smt although I was right in my room and they could’ve called me to collect it. Then after I made noise about it they voided the room charge. I asked the housekeeper for towels and was told to go to the front desk. When I mentioned it to the manager she said the housekeeper probably didn’t have anymore towel with her. Poor excuse. I travel alot, all around the world, and this is by far the worst experience I’ve ever had. Never again!!!!

Lobby and bar area was nice. Room very large and great for families. Hotel in need of updating. Bathroom needed repair. There was a sliding barn door on bathroom which is generally a terrible idea made worse by the fact that the door was broken and did not close. Can’t speak to the restaurant because we didn’t eat there Tried to order drinks from the bar but they were out of almost everything. We needed a convenient hotel for cruise and the price was right.

Housekeeping woke me up by busting inside room ... just checked in at 2am that morning ... left and housekeeping felt i wanted to be on elevator with dirty laundry 😒

The location is very convenient, close to the highway and nearby places like Starbucks, a gas station, and Chipotle. The suite was spacious and well designed, with a separate living room and bedroom (two double beds), plus a large bathroom. Parking was a nice surprise — usually $5/day, but free during our stay due to missing parking passes. The lot is large with plenty of available spaces. The inner courtyard with a fountain and waterfall is also a great touch, especially for kids. You can hear the water from the room, which felt calming. However, service was inconsistent. Staff were friendly but not very welcoming — often engaged in personal conversations, leaving guests waiting without acknowledgment. Basic greetings were frequently missing, which gave the impression of low motivation. Additionally, one elevator was broken, and the alternative in another wing was also out of order. During our week-long stay, no repairs seemed to take place. Also, the pool didn’t look clean enough to want to swim in. Overall, good space and location and would recommend, but service and maintenance need improvement.

Room was cleaned everyday but the room was warm everyday so sleep wasn’t the best.

Breakfast buffet was excellent

The property is in great condition with its remodels. It’s very fresh very clean. The staff is doing an excellent job of keeping the property like new and they are doing a great job of providing attentive service to their guest. The lounge is excellent with great staff working breakfast and the evening hot hors d’oeuvres. Management is clearly visible, checking with guest, making sure everyone’s happy and offering to provide any assistance that any of the guest need. It’s been a very pleasant day for Business and there’s been a lot of travelers there for pleasure and they’ve accommodated everyone very comfortably.

We really enjoyed the hot tub and pool—perfect for relaxing. The bar staff were very friendly, and the food was excellent. Breakfast was also a highlight, with great service and a well-prepared selection. Overall, our entire stay was a pleasure and offered fantastic value for the price. Highly recommended!

Looks ok on the pictures but in real life, broken soap holder, flooring in bad shape, in need of proper paint job, etc. The worst part for me though was the poor customer service by front desk from the moment of check in. They just seemed very unhappy and unwelcoming. Will not return.

The staff member who checked me in (a black young lady with a long curly weave) was extremely rude, condescending, and inpatient. When checking in she made no eye contact while stating “Credit card and ID” I then stated oh I think I paid for this already. She then stated “Yeah Credit card and ID” I had to ask her what the credit card was for. I then thought I had breakfast included with my stay and she just kept saying “you can pay for breakfast”. She was just so short with me. She handled the Caucasian woman in front of me so delicately and just treated me like I was being for something. She was disgustingly rude and I’m not sure how or why she is in hospitality. She dampened me and my family’s whole experience. I pray she has an attitude and personality adjustment and doesn’t make anyone else feel this way.

Comfortable and great location

I messaged the hotel before I even got there and never received a response. The man who checked me in Saturday evening was lovely but that’s where it ended. The staff wasn’t helpful and I had to keep going down to the front desk to ask for something. I should have received a free night or two. I will not be recommending this hotel in the future. My room when it was clean was half ass. This experience was an eye opening on how pictures can be deceiving. Very disappointed.

Beautiful property. Could use a few upgrades, but facilities are in good condition and staff are excellent. Pool is nice and atrium is excellent.

I use this hotel every time I come to Fort Lauderdale for my business reasons and really love the place. Each room is a suite which makes business small meetings and comfort great.

We had no complaints other than we were killing COCKROACHES in the bedroom !! We only stayed two nights, and didn't check in until nearly 2.00 a.m. the first night. We spent little time in our room (431) and didn't realize the COCKROACH situation until the last morning. The front desk seemed neither surprised nor disturbed by the news, and she said she would report it to the manager. It seemed like an everyday sort of issue for her. WE WILL NOT BE STAYING THERE AGAIN.

Breakfast should start earlier. 7 am is late for our flight! We gave up and rushed to go to the airport due to the TSA situation, which made us aware that it takes longer than usual. Most hotels have breakfast starting at 6 am. We prepaid for breakfast and didn't get to have it!

Hot tub was dirty, didn’t seem to get cleaned the whole time. It had foam so thick and debris. The shower was the worst part, it does not get hot and barely gets warm! The location is excellent and the hotel always smells nice and clean and it’s a good atmosphere. Would have been a perfect review if it weren’t for the shower and hot tub.

We really enjoyed our stay and would stay here again in the future. The property and amenities are kid friendly and all levels of staff made our stay a memorable experience.

ALL elevators are in use for renovations. There should have been ONE dedicated service elevator for contractors. Everyone from housekeeping to service guys to contractors were fighting for elevators. Took a LONG time to catch one for guests. Service in restaurant was very slow!!!

It has large rooms, a great shower in the bathroom, super comfortable beds, an excellent breakfast, and also meals available for lunch and dinner. The bar area is also very pleasant, with staff who are always in a good mood to serve you. I highly recommend it!

Roaches where crawling all over my son in his bed while he was sleeping so we had to sleep with all the lights on because the manager wouldn't give me my money back and I already paid $2000 dollars to stay there. He moved us a couple of rooms down and said I could have 2 free drinks lol I don't dring. The hot tub was molding and had a bunch of tras in it and the elevator was bad and one our TV was broken this place is filthy the dust on the pltshas been there for many years but there was like 100 Roaches crawling all over my sons bed and all over the take when I turned on the lights so bring the roach spray

Service was good and we had a nice big spacious room. However we had way too much noise from very loud airplanes constantly landing nearby and noise in the central promenade . Also the patio door does not lock.Other than that it was a nice place.

The rooms were not great. I understand they are renovating but there were missing transition pieces, cushions to seating areas, etc. Bathroom floors were dirty when we got placed in our room. There were also several ants in our rooms during our stay. The staff was amazing on our first day. That night, the staff were extremely rude, and both the hotel and the restaurant within the hotel treated several other people, adults and a child, in the same rude manner. I expected much more from them, hence why we booked 5 rooms for our group of 20. Big mistake and we will not do that again.

Beautiful place and clean

The entire hotel was really worn down and weathered looking. It did not look at all like any other Sheraton that I’ve been to, and I don’t mean that in a good way. The staff was nice, it wasn’t their fault, just a hotel in terrible condition.

The gym, well, there was a broken machine with cables lying all over the floor: that was odd. Things break, sure. But leaving it all over the ground was a bit odd. The check in process was fab! The gentleman was accommodating and really friendly.

Hotel is in need of an update. Some areas have been updated but more is needed. Elevators are the slowest I have ever encountered. Restaurant is a bust. Drinks at the bar are outrageous. $18 per. Rooms are pretty good but not for the price they are asking.

Room is spotless and spacious. I had ordered two rooms. One room was not available until around 7 PM. After a long flight, starting at 6 AM, that was a bit disappointing. Other than that I have no complains.

Wry satisfied

The hotel was dated. The pictures online are not what you get. There are some floors that’s been newly renovated but we never got one. While we were in our room the last day there were people on our floor clearing out all the rooms to change out all the mattresses. There were mattresses all over the halls. I won’t be staying at this hotel again. The room was so gross. There was a Westin we stayed at on the same trip that is down the street from this place and it was much better. I don’t recommend this hotel.

We were supposed to have a room with two double beds and was given a room with one king size bed very inconvenient. My son had to sleep on the couch and they wouldn’t switch rooms for us or give us a credit so I wouldn’t stay there again.

This might be the worst hotel I have ever stayed at. The only upside is most of the staff were friendly despite working at such an awful place. Place is not clean, wallpaper is peeling, showers are gross, everything is sticky, the bathroom doors literally broke when we were there. It smelled and the elevators took forever.

My stay was great as always no i didn't eat breakfast because the cost isn't worth it for me. I don't eat much food so there's no reason for me to pay 25-30 dollars when i only eat $3-$5 dollars of food. If i was charged for it than I'd like that bit of $ back

Wry nice place to stay with family. Holiday movie by the pool with complimentary snacks was the star of the stay. Kids loved it. Capacious rooms. Bathroom door was a bummer, no proper latch. Complimentary breakfast and free shuttle service to the airport would have made it perfect even if it meant a slight hike in price.

We had 3 people in a room, yet there were only 2 towels, and only 2 water bottles. When we asked for more drinking water, we had to pay for it. The room was damp, all of our belongings became damp, and our feet were always wet. There weren’t any room slippers either.

Rooms were “newly” renovated.. horribly done. The lights in the main room with pull out sofa didn’t turn off at all.. so the staff put bed sheets to cover lights for sleeping. Air conditioner was so loud. Strange smell in hotel room.

There are trains late into the evening and all night- very noisy! The dirty towels were forgotten in the hall by the cleaners until the next day. The room was big and had lots of area to relax. Parking was good. Pool was warm

Hotel gave out room away THAT WE PAID FOR IN ADVANCE. After a long day of driving we arrived at the hotel to find out they had no room for us. Manager was incompetent and not helpful. Made us wait forever. Sent us to some other hotel when all we wanted to do was get in our room and go to sleep. Manager refused to refund money or give any discount. Will NEVER stay at a Marriott again!

It is a very nice place but it is a little old.

They put us in a room under major construction, got woken up by loud bangs and workers dropping equipment or products. Also a train goes by which continues to sound the horn as you try sleeping.. Room itself was clean and ok. Above average. Would’ve hoped they didn’t set us up under major construction..

My son and I were there just 1 night. The room itself was very nice and comfortable. However, I did notice that your front desk staff seemed a bit too observant of guests and who they were with. It came across as a little intrusive, (newsy to be more exact), as if they were watching more than necessary. A warmer and more welcoming approach at the front desk would really improve the overall experience.

The decor of the room is probably the ugliest, sterile looking abomination for a hotel of this caliber I’ve ever seen. The bed was comfortable and spacious. Simply depressingly cheap looking. The interior lights of the main hotel look like a prison or WalMart parking lot.

The hotel is currently under renovation and there is some noise. Good breakfast, comfortable and spacious rooms. When we booked the room we did not know that there was a fee for receiving packages and it was not mentioned on the Expedia website. Too bad.

Elevators were either broken ow wouldn’t stop at out floor to go down and we were on the 7th floor. Check-in was very confusing with no direction or explanation given for what they wanted/needed from me. Shower leaked out the back pouring water all over the floor and we had to hug the wall just to keep the leaking to a minimum. Room did not have good air flow and ac had to be dropped super low to keep air moving.

The only hotel I'll stay at. It looks like i won't be staying for a while because I'm not paying $60-70 a ngt more cause of a date. These are staycations for me. I guess I'll be finding another hotel for now. I'm on the look now. It's said there's no Florida resident rate. Because how many people like me will take up space?

Room was incredible, the hotel is absolutely gorgeous. We would definitely stay here again.

Also of the four elevators three were out of service. The rooms really are dated with worn materials all around. If you can avoid staying here you probably are doing yourself a favor

The staff is great and the inside of the hotel is pretty. However, our room seamed like it wasn’t thoroughly cleaned all the way. Some of the towels were dirty and the lotion/soap was not swapped out for a new one which is a little gross.. the pool area is nice but lacks peaks of sun and some minor repairs definitely need to be done. The hot tub rail was fully sticking out of the ground on one end and there was several loose bricks outside and on the stairs. Only one side of the hotel had working elevators but it wasn’t too far of a walk. Overall it’s an okay hotel but I wouldn’t say it was fully worth the money we paid to stay.

Breakfast food was cold. Fruit had fruit flies. Had to ask for refills on our drinks. Sliding door for shower wouldn't stay closed. Toilet paper holder was broken. Wallpaper was peeling off the wall. DUSTY in the room and in the hallways.

Everything was perfect! I would definitely stay here again!

Love an atrium style hotel! Nice room, decent view considering the location of the hotel. Nice restaurant inside with decent food. Good drinks and awesome free coffee and pastry bar that came complimentary for breakfast. This was not an every day occurrence for the hotel but it was a very nice touch for my stay.

Visit was fine until, on afternoon two, half hour I get a little sleep in the afternoon I am awakened to the sound of a concrete drill in the floor above. Other than that, good. We arrived at 930pm to check in. The dining room/bar said they were not serving food any longer but STILL were willing to cook for us! Awesome, thanks guys!

I can't bring myself to stay anywhere else. I drive 20 minutes away (minimum) and there's always traffic so it's a lot longer time travel. But this place is amazing. The comfort and safety alone is everything. Not even staying at the Hilton on the beach feels the same. And i stayed an entire week. Im waiting for my free one night stay.

The property is beautiful loveeeee the ambience and style. The staff is great . I love that there is parking. Great location accessible to alot of stores and restaurants. My only negative was the pool had some bugs but i think its due to the rain season. The bathroom door in my room was broken its a barn style but it didn't roll properly so I just let it open . Overall wonderful stay its actually my 4th stay and I'll definitely be going again.

Excellent place to stay. Plenty of free parking, very good restaurant, facility is clean and quiet. We had some issues with the electrical panel in our room and as a result some of the outlets didn't work and the refrigerator defrosted. They did try to accommodate us by putting us in a different room but the mattress was shot in the new room and one side seemed like a 500 lb gorilla had been jumping on it. By that point, we didn't feel like moving our stuff again. But every other time we stayed there, it has been excellent.

Property was very nice. Calm, relaxing atmosphere. Overall great staff... Checking in was a breeze.

We would have loved a breakfast inclusive option with the room choices. Again, this wasn’t a show stopper. Its also very close to a train line but it only disturbed us once in a two day stay. Parking was onsite and very safe and convenient.

When we checked into our room there was a large cockroach on curtain. No tubs. Iron did not work. Ironing board falling apart. Fridge smelled bad. The bathroom latch fell off. Pool hours should be longer.

Our hotel room...you expect it to be cool especially in these areas. The room temp was 76 when we arrived during the day And when we got in at 9:30 it only dropped 1 degree to 75...I set it on 73 but apparently its not going get there any Time sokn

This hotel is absolutely amazing. I refuse to stay anywhere else. I'm trying to save up points of some kind to get another night or 2 free. I couldn't recommend this hotel enough. I've stayed in Hilton and high class Disney resorts but the Sheraton Suites is better than all that. I don't take pics cause I'm spending time with the man i love.

Room was clean. Staff was professional and very friendly. Housekeeping was very helpful and friendly as well. The overall experience was excellent. I have recommended this hotel to my family and friends.

Hot. Air did not work in any of our rooms. We were on the top floor. They offered for us to move rooms at 11:30pm at night but we refused because our kids were already asleep. We asked for a box fan or cooling fan, they refused.

The rooms were huge and clean. Excellent area at the front of the room for sitting and very large bedroom space. Comfy beds (whilst not Sheraton Sweet Sleeper class). Excellent tv choice and cool AC. Bathroom big and full of amenities. Powerful shower. Breakfast good quality and glad it was included. Typical American breakfast standard. Be careful if they ask you if you want any alternate eggs as this is chargeable (only scrambled included in the buffet). Staff friendly and helpful if there is an issue. Pool looked very nice but did not use. Close to a few restaurants and to the Chase Stadium. Also very close to I-95 meaning an ideal Miami hotel for much cheaper than Miami prices. Would stay again.

This hotel is awesome! Every single time I stay in fort Lauderdale it will definitely be here. Tommy Madonna is one of the greatest hotel employees I've ever met he made our stay undescribably fun. Great pool and hot tub.

Needs a lot of updates, painting, new pool cushions, all tile inside hotel needs to be steam cleaned, bathroom doors around facility need paint or cleaned. The elevators were very dirty. Some ice machines weren’t working. The food and customer service was Excellent. We really loved our waiter Athiq. He is a great asset to this business. The buffet was really good, bar was ok, not a 5 for sure. The rooms are very spacious, great for a family. The beds were very comfortable, carpet was very clean. This hotel has great potential and I know they are working on it.

I was very impressed by the hotel. Stayed on the 7th floor and my suite was clean and spacious. The staff was wonderful especially Michael at the front desk.

The lady that worked the bar, i did not get her name, but she was wonderful. Our stay was absolutely great. Will definitely stay here again when traveling back down. We had a group of 18. We had a total of 6 rooms. Hotel made sure we were settled and comfortable. Check in was easy and pleasant. Pool was very nice also. Kids enjoyed it. Location was great. Many restaurants in walking distance. Very clean and safe feeling.

Very spacious and clean room. The breakfast buffet was delicious. We enjoyed the pool area immensely and the water of the pool was warm. You could walk right in. Staff was exceptional. We will stay here again.

The place was great but the breakfast was terrible.

This review concerns the Sheraton at Cypress Creek in Ft. Lauderdale. This property is adequate for a short term stay. However, you cannot avoid the huge problem of broken and slow elevators. Not acceptable IMHO.
