Homewood Suites by Hilton Nashville Franklin Cool Springs

Our room was missing soap - liquid and bar - in the bath and kitchen. We obviously could have called the desk, but made do with a bar we had in our bag. The breakfast options weren’t as good as other stays we’ve had with homewood, but we managed to feed our family of six. Entry to the hotel parking lot is an issue. The road from the highway is divided and a left into the lot is impossible. U turns are forbidden at the light. You’ll need to wind around to get into this one. It’s a substantial inconvenience.

We enjoyed the spacious room and it was conveniently located. The breakfast was decent and had some variety. Although the room was clean and had no odor I realized that my pet dander allergies were really being triggered. Upon asking I found out that they don’t have pet designated rooms. If you have a severe allergies to cats and/or dogs this is not the place for you. If you don’t it’s a reasonably priced option.

For $255 for one night, we had pieces of the ceiling in the bathroom falling on us due to water damage.

Overall a good experience. However, the renovation is making a review difficult. Some of the cleanliness issues are because of this ongoing process. Pool was good, fitness center was good, breakfast was good. No issues other than the first room had an odd smell but moved us to a new room and we had no other issues that were not renovation related.

The only problem i had was I wanted to know where a good place to eat was. He handed me a paper with restaurants on it but said him and noone else that worked there ate at them. So he couldn't help me out with that. It was a list of about 25 rest.

Also pls make sure theres covers to pots and the pan is in every room. Not well stocked. Missing dish sponge, pan, pot cover, small pot not there but cover there. Dish soap half full. No time to keep asking for supplies. Upon check in water wasn't given then when asked for water was told have to buy. Pls just leave 2 complimentary waters in room.

I stayed in an assessable room. I understand that the room may be scuffed a little from wheelchairs, but regular chairs and curtains should not be stained. The shower area had either black mold or something all around the inside base. Bed was comfortable.

Nice hotel and staff. Room was very nice and clean. The arrangement was a little weird as the bed was directly in front on the vanity area with no door. The door closed to the toilet and shower but vanity was right at the bed.

I’m glad that they are renovating this place for future guests. But that doesn’t help anyone who is currently staying here. There was mold in my mom’s shower. Rust in both of our freezers. The whole place smells musty. Hair on the bedsheets. Hair on the couch. Smear of lotion on the vanity. Stained up furniture. Holes in the lamp shade. Dirty, stained curtains. Clearly our fan was just for decoration as that didn’t work. There was a huge dip in the other bed in my room. Very uncomfortable beds/pillows. My niece was bitten by fleas. There was a barking dog staying in the room across the hall. The rooms are smaller in person than they look in photos. One of the elevator doors kept opening repeatedly instead of closing. Overall, I would not stay here again. I’m not sure why this place has such good reviews. The standard bar must be pretty low. I’ve had nicer rooms in a cheaper hotel.

Bed bugs in our room and had to move rooms which split up our group from 3 women in 2 queens to 1 woman alone in a single king and 2 in another king. I appreciate us moving- front desk staff was great, but bed bugs are not okay and it was obvious with spots on the mattress. Someone should have caught that before you placed someone in the room. Completely grossed out. Also TV in new room did not work.

Mostly clean, kitchen area had crumbs around appliances, no small spoons, staff was very friendly. The bedskirt was on top of the top sheet but under the spread. Breakfast was good. Looks as though they were in the process of updating things. It was a good stay.

Great place to stay! The queen suite worked so well for our family and we loved being able to make dinner in the kitchenette. Our kids enjoyed the indoor pool. Best continental breakfast we’ve ever had. Beds were a bit uncomfortable.

The breakfast was okay. The yogurt was frozen, the sausage looked like it sat out for a long time and only one waffle maker worked. The pool is very small!! One other family was in there with us and it felt crowded.

The hotel was clean and nice. The only issue we had was breakfast. Seems they were understaffed in that area because they didnt seem to be able to keep up with the customers. It didnt seem like there were a ton of customers there, but they were out of most of the eggs and main dishes we would normally eat. Again, I think they just didnt have enough folks helping in that area.

The room was not clean, bathroom looked liked it wasn't touched and it had no hand soap, lotion container was empty. Carpert looked like it was not vacuumed at all.

The property was in a good location. I had high hopes for this hotel. We were just staying overnight with our baby. Immediately when we walked into our room it looked dirty and the floor in the kitchen was sticky. The walls in several areas of the room were covered in stains and splatters. When we went to the living room area, the couch was covered in stains and the kitchen silverware was dirty. The fridge was also not properly cleaned either. The bathroom was filthy. The shower covered in mold. The drains in the tub would not stay up while you showered. Only one of the lights in the bathroom worked. The mirror light did not work either. There were spider webs in the bathroom light covers. The cabinetry in the bathroom was severely worn and peeling. We also were hoping to use the dresser in the bedroom to store our clothes, but all the drawers were broken and could not be opened properly. To top it all off, around 9am, the morning we were to check out of the hotel, a housekeeping lady came into our room unannounced. She did not knock, she literally unlocked our door from the outside and walked in. She did not even apologize. We truly love Hilton hotels, but this one was just flat out awful. I also have plenty of other pictures to show how bad it really was. It seems as though this hotel used to be good, looking at previous reviews, but has since gone downhill. For $200 a night you’d think it would at least be clean. I highly recommend looking elsewhere to stay. We have stayed at many Hiltons in the past, but will now reconsider and look at other options.

Great rooms and perfect size for a family of 4 as a pit stop between Chicago and Destin, FL. Highly recommend!

I have never used GrubHub as a "delivery service," but that was part of the stay! No room service is available and being able to use that service to order local food at no charge (However, I like to tip nice) is an excellent option when you are too tired from driving all day and just want to stay in. I really do wish that was available where we live. Breakfast was delicious as well. ONLY thing that I could think of is the price? It truly wasn't horrible, but again, ONLY thing I can think of.

The room is always clean when I visit. The staff goes above and beyond to make sure guests have a pleasant stay.

Very nice and clean! The room was humid, even though the thermostat was set at 68, the room still felt stuffy and humid. The indoor is very small for a hotel that big. When just a few families show up, there isn’t much room to play in the pool.

When we checked in my family and i noticed that the shower was not cleaned properly. There was also hair on the floor and no utensils in the drawer. I let front desk know. They said they would send someone up. We left out to explore the area no one ever came. I notified someone the next say because we cane back pretty late.they apologized and said that management would contact me. Well needless to say no one ever did.

Very comfortable bed and pillows! Breakfast was pretty good too! Great location from Downtown Franklin…10 minute drive! Not too far from Leipers Fork either…less than 30 minute drive!

The breakfast food and especially seating were great. The suite was comfortable and accommodating. Bed was comfy. No specific rooms that were pet free.

I thought the breakfast was great. I would’ve liked a little bacon and sausage. But I understand that they were housing a lot of people from the local Nashville area because of the horrible ice storm.

I have a big family so i look at places that provide breakfast. The hotel was nice, clean and provided for all our needs.

Staff was friendly, reasonable, and helpful when my family had an unexpected travel change. Our stay was superb and a GREAT value!

Overall we had a good stay. The front desk staff seemed more interested in conversation amongst themselves when we had to engage them for more towels or bedding. We had a room for 5 but only given 3 towels by house keeping. The phone in our room did not work the entire stay. The pool is good for kids but a small footprint and you will get wet due to the dimensions even if you are not swimming. Breakfast options were plentiful and good. Hot water was hard to come by not sure if it was due to the colder weather that came in but I’ve never had to wait 5-10 minutes for hot water before st a hotel. Bedding was very comfortable and room seemed well maintained except the drink glasses in our cabinet were not cleaned prior to our stay given the smudged and finger prints on them.

The room was nice and spacious, but lacked a few things we feel are necessary for an “extended stay” type of room. There was no dresser for clothes, no frying pan to cook with, or spatula type utensils to use when cooking and the ceiling fan over the bed had no way to control it. The room was clean and the hotel building was nice but we were expecting the hotel to have more in the room for an extended stay. Overall we would say the hotel was nice and the front desk people were courteous, but with the vast choices of places to stay, we would more than likely pick another hotel to stay the next time we come to the Nashville area.

Room was clean and spacious. Staff was friendly. Only thing we had an issue with was the breakfast. We have been staying here for four years and each year the breakfast gets worse. This year for 4 of the days we stayed there was overcooked oatmeal and “egg”omelets filled with fake cheese. Gone was the fresh fruit and hard boiled eggs they had when we first started coming here.

The room was very clean and spacious. The pool was okay, water was on the cooler side while the room itself was very hot and humid. The speakers playing music throughout the hotel, including the echoey pool room, were so loud that the music was crackling. The breakfast was edible at best. We were there 20 after they started breakfast at 7, and it was the taste and texture as if I had been reheated from the previous day. I love hotel breakfast, so this was very disappointing.

The room was clean, if I had one complaint it would be house keeping did not show up any day.

Check in was supposed to be at 3 but the room wasn’t ready until almost 530. Room was very clean upon arrival.

It was so lovely!!! We had a wonderful stay.

I then asked for a different room and was told there is only a top floor available (I was travelling with a dog and prefer to not take long trips on stairs or elevators for the multiple times to walk her). I informed them I could find another hotel since the room is unclean and can't be cleaned. They agreed and checked me out within the hour I had arrived - I never stayed in any room there They then charged me the full 4 nights stay and said ti would not be refundable. I called the GM and all the front desk several times asking and explaining I had to pay another hotel for those days. They understood I never stayed at this hotel, and had to pay to stay elsewhere due to their unclean rooms, and they still informed me they would not be reimbursing since they have a no cancellation policy. I used to work for Marriott hotels and would have never encountered this at any of the hotels where I was a sales executive. I am surprised a company can operate this way and take money for services or rooms they never provided due to their unclean room. Just beware if you are booking here in the future of their policies.

Room was clean and kitchen area was very nice. I wish the sink for the bathroom was enclosed with the shower area since I rise earlier than my husband. Couldn’t dry my hair or brush my teeth until he woke up unless I used the kitchen sink to clean my teeth.

There was literally a mattress cover on the bed in place of a blanket. It felt cheap and not very clean.

The checked into the hotel very late due to late flights . We did not realize the lobby would be locked. When we called for check in, the lady on duty that night was not very friendly at all. Otherwise had a good stay.

This property caused a bit of frustration on the first night. Upon entering our room, we noticed that we had no utensils, pots/pans, drinking glasses or dish soap for the kitchen. The kitchen is the main reason why we chose this location. I reported it to front staff and she did not seem to care at all. She said that maybe housekeeping forgot to put back. I asked if she could get us some extra or obtain some from a different room and she said that she was not allowed to move anything from any other room. She offered to switch rooms, but my two toddlers were sleeping and we had already got settled in. This caused us a HUGE inconvenience in regards to dinner! It had had gotten too late to order anything. VERY FRUSTRATING!

The room was a bit run down. Torn curtain , gouge in furniture., poor lighting.

IT would have been a lot better if the drapes in the bedroom area would close so that it would be darker.

I stayed at the Staybridge Suites just down the street in the same type of room the night prior. I thought coming to a Hilton hotel would be an upgrade but it was a much bigger downgrade. Things in the room were falling apart, the shower was in disrepair, the thermostat was falling off the wall and didn't ever turn off no matter what button you pressed. The breakfast left much to be desired. Staying at their competition was a much better experience.

We always have a great stay here. Friendly and helpful staff, great breakfast, and clean and comfortable rooms.

I love that I can travel with my cats. A lot of hotels only allow dogs. I am working in Detroit for 12 weeks so I needed to take my cats with me. This worked out great!

when I first arrived my room was not ready, I was about 30min early. The desk clerk was not very polite about the room not ready. Could have said something like "it will be ready soon and we will call you when it is", which is what did happen. He just was not helpful.

I liked this for an overnight stay, but once in the room, we realized that it was cleaned, but never restocked. So i had to call for hand soap. Toilet paper, and towels. I have no idea if anything else would have been provided like the little travel soaps etc. Breakfast was okay.

We enjoyed our experience at the Homewood Suites in Franklin. Our room was clean and well kept. Please note that, if the ceiling fan in your room does not work, ask the front desk for the remote.

The inside was clean and nice, but there was no hot water in the shower. The pillows were also extremely thin and uncomfortable.

The stay met our needs. We were late at making the reservation and knew rooms were limited. We were happy to have much space in the one bedroom we reserved. The building, furnishings, and appliances were older than expected. and the pool is very small. The breakfast was very good and there is much space for lounging.

THE Television was barely hangingbon the wall. Needed a whole new sofa.

The only thing I would suggest is for the Daily Breakfast- I would absolutely suggest adding a non-pork meat option, as some people can not consume Pork for varying reasons. Otherwise, the trip was FANTASTIC. 100% recommend!

They had no hot water for our stay. We have two little kids and were traveling to Florida. Breakfast was decent food but they didn’t order enough condiments for their guests. Like cream cheese/butter etc.. the worst situation was we were given a free night for our troubles but as of 5 days later we still have $254 being held in our bank. Avoid this property.

Stayed 4 nights in a suite with 6. The bathroom was pretty small. Two separate rooms with 2 TV’s and a kitchen. Beds were comfortable. Breakfast was great! Have to drive to food which was fine.

The morning breakfast was always the same with no variety. Not very good for a person such as myself staying for 2 weeks.

Everything from check in to check out was perfect! Staff super amazing, kind and helpful. The rooms clean and felt like home! And THE BREAKFAST was the best I'd ever had at a hotel! You can even make your own waffles! I had my service dog with me, and they were welcoming and made sure everything went smoothly! I will definitely be staying again in the future.

The property did not have my reservation. Fortunately, they had rooms available although I got a downgrade from what I booked. I'll just book directly with the property going forward.

Of course this facility is designed for more extended stay, but we didn't use it for that. Full refrigerator, dishwasher, fully stocked kitchen. Nice pool and a small putting green! Standard breakfast but a little above the norm which was nice.

Homewood's has always been a good place for us. They were clean had a really good gym at this one as well as a nice pool. It was exactly what we needed on our journey to Florida.

Overall experience was excellent. My only suggestion is that they keep the fruit bowls on the breakfast bar replenished, I had to ask for fruit on two occasions. But in fairness to the staff, it was taken care of immediately. we will definitely stay there in the future.

The AC didn’t work in our room. Granted it is winter and the room stayed at 71 degrees but we like sleeping with it cooler than that. Maintenance came the second day and adjusted/reset the thermostat but it still didn’t work. I could’ve bitched about it but it was bed time so…we just slept without cover.

There was construction outside the hotel and it’s frustrating to get to since you always have to do a U-turn when coming from anywhere. There isn’t anything within walking distance. The area is nice and seems very safe, but there isn’t anything that you would want to go to. It’s a business area. You have to drive to get to any restaurants or stores. It’s a short drive but you couldn’t walk anywhere. The pool is very small and there is no hot tub, which is a bummer. The workout room was okay but some of the machines made strange sounds or didn’t work properly. The store that they have was way too expensive and they did not have a water dispenser available. I was not happy that I had to pay for bottled water. I did find that there was a water dispenser in the workout room, but I wish there was one in the lobby. Lastly, the breakfast that was offered was pretty awful.

Everything was nice, except the breakfast. The coffee was good, but the breakfast bar was lacking. I didn't see much fruit, and there wasn't a lot of options. The food always seemed old and dried out, even just after the breakfast opened at 6:30 AM.

Breakfast wasn’t great and when you say you’re serving breakfast till 9:30 it should be served till 9:30 not 9:15 to start cleanup

It was nice to have the separate bedroom with full kitchen for a family of four. But our every other day cleaning fell on new years day, so it was actually 3 days of trash build up, towels, and running out of toilet paper. They were typically pretty quick to bring things we needed, but was a pain to have to ask. Breakfast was sub-par, with an hour left they ran out of most hot items and coffee. It was a good location if you have a car and wanted to explore Franklin, Nashville, etc, but there wasn't anything super close by. We weren't super impressed with our stay.

The staff is nice, knowledge, friendly and happy. Homework Suites is not in a high traffic area. Family and pet friendly. Breakfast and coffee was excellent.

Location is near my sons residence which made it an easy choice. Very nice accommodations at an affordable price.

This is the third time we have stayed at this hotel. Service was excellent as usual. The only issue we had during this stay was finding trash under the bed. Every else was clean. Breakfast was a little less than what we have gotten in the past (less variety) but still good.

We love staying here yearly! Our hotel room is so roomy, clean and comfortable!! Definitely recommend this hotel to anyone that comes to Franklin!

The beds were made by now improperly. The mattress pads were just under the blanket in both beds. Also, paint was pealing from tub.

It was a lovely hotel and room was great! The only thing was that I wish the mattress was softer and pillows were fluffier to lay on
