Reviews
The hotel is old and in need of repairs and renovations, with frequent complaints about broken elevators, dirty rooms, and poor wi-fi. However, the staff is generally friendly and helpful, and the location is convenient for some guests, particularly those visiting Disneyland.

Hotel is in terrible condition.

Scary looking. Definitely would not have booked taking my toddler with me to that dump.
- 1/5
No refrigerator. Front desk lady is hella rude and blunt
- 4/5
Basic hotel provides a place to lay your head for the nite . Furniture and decor is very dated . The hallway carpet was dingy HOWEVER, what they lacked in sparkle they made up for in customer service. Easy check in and they even allowed us to check out one hour later no charge . Was shocked that parking was free. Price was reasonable .
- 1/5
This location was a disappointment. The whole property was extremely dirty. The phone in the room was not connected so we could not call downstairs. The microwave cord was to short to reach a plug so it was not usable. Multi homeless people were coming in to take from the continental breakfast.
- 1/5
It’s old and all the rooms need a major overhaul.
- 1/5
Room is very smell like mold. Restroom is no ceilings fan smell very bad. No fridge. All furniture sticky and scratches everywhere Outside smell smoke.
- 2/5
The staff was nice and helpful. The property however is in terrible need of an upgrade. It stunk of cigarette smoke. Our room felt dirty there were stains on the walls and carpet. The curtains were broken, there was broken glass on the carpet and the shower had mold on the ceiling. We stayed because it was close to Disneyland but it definitely wasn’t a pleasant experience. Had we not already paid so much for our trip and tickets we would’ve purchased another stay somewhere else.
- 3/5
The room was old looking, no doubt that the sofa and the ottoman were not cleaned. I also was charged and extra ,$100 for whatever reason, which I will dispute.
- 3/5
Hotel as a whole is a good value. Especiallywhen compared to the Holliday inn right next door. I appreciate that management took my concerns about a noisey neighbor next to my room & moved me to another room. Aminities are lacking: no bar soap or lotion in the bathroom.
- 5/5
I would stay here again and again. The breakfast was pretty good. Could use some more breakfast ideas but it was good and plentiful. The Disneyland shuttle was I think the highlight! Everyone driver was so welcoming and the morning driver is just the sweetest! Not to mention free parking at the hotel! Definitely book here
- 2/5
I did not like hotel at all.
- 1/5
Very old. Dirty. Got put into a room after ours was not available due to over booking, even after having the reservations for 4/5 months. Was put into the oldest/dirtiest/creepy room. We didn’t even unpack. Left and called the amazing hotel next door. Had a wonderful trip after that mess got figured out. I feel bad for the staff. Seems like they hear it many times.

good place!

La habitación estaba limpia, lo que el lugar de manera general necesita algo de mantenimiento.

Las camas son muy chicas ( bueno para mi que mido 6.4 )pero son ‘muy comodas

That said, the free shuttle service to Disney was great, the beds were comfortable, and they’re building a hot tub, which is a nice addition. I do wish the pillows were standard hotel pillows instead of the decorative-feeling ones provided. Overall, this feels like a place to sleep and then leave, not a place to enjoy and spend time during your stay.
- 1/5
The property is nothing like it is described. It is dirty, the rooms smell and I felt unsafe. The shutter leaves you stranded at Disney park at midnight. Have a back up plan just in case you get left behind. If I knew it was like this i would have not picked this place. The name of the hotel means nothing. It is very sad place to stay when you come from the Happiest place.
- 3/5
The room we had had a rip in the curtain, and there was stains on the bedspring. The microwave that was brought to us was dirty. The refrigerator had dents on the door. The shuttle that was scheduled to pick us up did not pick us up and we had to find a different alternative to get back to the hotel. My little brother was asleep and it was already 1230 still waiting for the shuttle different price of food would be awesome, but having the same eggs, waffle, fruit toast, bagels is OK the first couple days but after like four it’s not OK. Yes, we did appreciate the housekeepers supplying us with taking out our trash and fresh clean towels.
- 4/5
Hallways looks like needs a paint job & flooring, carpet upgrade as well

El olor en el baño a caño es fuerte las paredes sucias la verdad no volvería aficionl la última noche una pica son en el cuerpo a mi y mi esposa no se lo ur fue nos levantamos a las 3 de la mañana a aplicar desinfectante para poder dormir

Initially I was hesitant because the property is run down, but I stay for 4 days and I felt safe and bed was clean, towels clean and soft, good water pressure, doors locked. Shuttle to Disney was nice and breakfast was decent
- 3/5
The location is middle of everything. From Disneyland and Midievel Times and Knots Berry Farms. All within 5 miles. The location of the hotel is surrounded by stores, restaurants and shopping center. The Hotle itself is a little run down and would need some maintenance or removal of all components that are weathered. It’s more cosmetic in the hallways, room and bathroom. The rooms are clean and the staff is great. The breakfast is good, more than standard and could use new toasters for the bread, waffles and bagels. It was well stocked by the staff, so it never ran out of food. It has an amusement park transportation and a little store inside to buy last minute items and souvenirs. I would stay again.
- 1/5
The three most terrible days of my vacation: the facilities were dirty, and the breakfast was awful. I requested a refrigerator because I have a small baby, but they never brought it to the room. I also requested a microwave, and they took a long time to deliver it. A bad experience with poor service.
- 1/5
Staff were pleasant but the room was terrible. They have motion sensor lights in the entry of the room that turned on with no movement throughout the night - and it had no master off switch so if you pressed the button to turn it off it would pop back on again 20 minutes later. You can hear everything your neighbors say or do and the adjoining doors rattle and make noise anytime a neighbor closes their main or bathroom doors. I think the entire family maybe got 30 minutes of sleep the entire night. Spend the extra few bucks and stay somewhere else.
- 1/5
The check-in process was not easy. I checked in 6 days prior and it was easy. I guess it depends on the employer at the counter. There aren’t any good amenities. Breakfast is not the best. They only have powdered eggs, cereal, and waffles.
- 5/5
All good

This whole place is not anything like the pictures on Expedia… trash and litter outside everywhere. Inside it smells musty and the place looks run down. Our first room had mildew, mold and leaking windows to the point that it sounded like they were wide open. Was moved to another room, still had mildew but it was quieter. The beds were awful, basically box springs. Had to ask front desk for 4 fleece blankets to sleep on top of. Would have checked out and went elsewhere but it was not an option financially. The lady at the front desk was very understanding and apologized for everything. Obviously it’s not her fault she just works there but it’s wild that this place hasn’t been shut down. Also, the WIFI didn’t work, was told they only have 1 router for the whole hotel…laundry room wasn’t working either apparently due to theft? Overall was a terrible experience and we will never stay there again.
- 1/5
The phone rang in the middle of the night and they said it’s just old phones and the keycards kept needing to get reactivated multiple times making things complicated. The property is very old and the breakfast is not good. Also the shuttle leaves to the park if it’s full even if you’re on time and they don’t have an additional shuttle. Just one. Def not coming back.
- 4/5
Está un poco maltratado el hotel

I would call ahead regarding amenities, we arrived & laundry room was out of service, jacuzzi was out of service. Other than that hotel attendants were helpful & nice.

Nothing Everything ESPECIALLY THE WIFI!!!!! Close enough to a roach motel

I brought my 2 daughters there for 4 nites. The first nite the toilet was plugged before we even got the room. When we used it, it over flowed. They said no plunger but we could get a new room. Neither room had a fan in bathroom so mold on the ceiling, no refrigerator in the room. Really horrible locks on doors. Def didn't feel safe. Place smells. Won't ever go again. Half a star.

Great place to stay
- 3/5
Hotel was dated. But location is great! Can walk to stores & groceries. First come first served with refrigerator and microwave request. Breakfast was just ok. Usual bread only hot items were scrambled egg and oatmeal.
- 5/5
Parking was good staff was great property was great breakfast was good might stay there for 2 days was good I recommend it
- 4/5
I think that some parts of the hotel need to be renovated. The hotel staff are very helpful and most of them are very friendly .
- 2/5
Very disappointed how worn down the hotel looked compared to the pictures. We had rented a room for a week for our Pastor and we were so disappointed.
- 4/5
Free shuttle tl Disney and great breakfast!! I would say the rooms are somewhat old. The carpet had stains but overall it was a good place to stay
- 1/5
The location was convenient and check-in was easy. The room was very old and outdated. The door lock was loose and the screws were almost falling out. The bathroom wall paint was peeling off, and the windows did not seal properly. My room was next to the 91 freeway, so it was extremely noisy all night because the windows did not block the sound. The coffee maker was also in very poor condition, with pieces of plastic coming off inside the water tank, and the coffee tasted bad. Overall, the stay did not feel worth the price. For a few more dollars, you can stay at a much better hotel.

The breakfast was very good. It had eggs, oatmeal, yogurt, bagels with cream cheese to name a few. The shuttle to Disneyland worked out beautifully.

- 1/5
Not well maintained, soap doesn't get refilled, breakfast sucks, key card stops working a lot, no laundry on site, one particular someone at the front desk doesn't look like she wants to work there, when checking out and I was looking for a luggage cart they just said that if there isn't one in the front it could be in one of the rooms and didn't even offer help. Just go somewhere else.
- 2.5/5
Passable
- 4/5
The room was nice. I wish the breakfast had more protein but it was still yummy!
- 5/5
Also, shout-out to Kathy, the front desk assistant for the amazing service. I had left my makeup bag in the room and do not live close by. She guided me on how to make a shipping label and she took care of the rest. Received my package in two days! We will continue to stay at this location for all our stays when in Anaheim.

- 1/5
Terrible hotel, will definitely not book again. Room was beyond dirty, amenities were not working (i.e. TV was broken, iron did not work). Curtains were torn and full of visible dust!! By far the worst place anyone can stay in, definitely not what was expected from pictures on website.
- 3/5
no refrigerator Very noisy if you're on freeway side--I now know that I should ask for quieter unit the opposite side.
- 3/5
And the refrigerator is only delivered if you request. Otherwise, overall, very good for the price. Hope they can fix the wifi.
- 1/5
This was the worst hotel experience I have ever had in 40 years of travel…
- 5/5
More options for breakfast would be nice. Basicly a grab & go stuff
- 5/5
Stay was nice and staff was welcoming only issue was im disabled and asked for a room closer to elevator.I requested like 2 weeks before maybe longer but not honored.

- 1/5
It was run down. Air did not blow cold we left after only being there less than 1 hr.
- 2/5
Decent hotel, pricey for not having any amenities like other hotels. We missed when booking that there is no mini fridge or microwave in the rooms. Breakfast was ok. Beds are small over all a decent stay over a motel somewhere

Location was perfect and it had access to everything I needed including being near my daughter’s school. Bed was comfortable. Continental breakfast was decent. Good coffee. Carpet and bathroom were a little funky. Sink faucet exploded water and the hairdryer looked melted, but at least it worked, the last time I visited the hairdryer did not work.

The front desk staff was very helpful. Check in was easy. There was a difficult guest checking in before us but the staff member was very polite and patient and got him through as quickly as she could, while still answering the same questions he asked over and over. The breakfast was good, the coffee was excellent. The room could use a little updating but the bed was comfortable. We would stay again.
- 4/5
Its affordable considering its location… but i hope breakfast will have variations.
- 1/5
Worst place ever! This is not a 3-star hotel; it’s a 1/2 star nightmare! Bed bugs! Ripped bedspreads! Stained sheets! Tripping hazards on stairs- screws and metal sticking up, mold visible on vents, our window wouldn’t close, chips in the paint, stained carpets and the room smelled moldy! The outside of the hotel is dark and there is no light. Took us three times driving around to find it. We ended up cancelling our booking with hotels.com and going next door to holiday inn express at midnight after driving four hours! They tried to get us to stay and told us themselves that the place was “just ok. Either you love it or hate it”. We asked for a refund but were told we couldn’t even check out until 1am when they did their “audit”. The guard told us the pictures on hotels.com and the internet are from 20 years ago!!!! Worst experience ever! Completely false advertising!!!!

property could definitely use a little remodel. It's a bit ran down but the location is nice and has all the basic amenities.

After traveling and getting to the hotel, we were unable to even get into the parking lot as there was a police barricade at the road and hotel entrance. So we had to go waste time elsewhere. We finally got to check in and if you’re trying to use an Affirm card for payment, don’t waste your time. It would not work no matter what they tried. We rented 3 rooms in my group. Only 1 of them had a fridge and microwave. Two of them had a handrail in the bathroom shower, one of them the bathroom light didn’t work. The breakfast was eggs, potatoes, or bagel, toast or freezer waffles, cereal… there were two, 2 slice toasters and one of them didn’t work and the other one barely worked and took forever to warm up. Definitely left something to be desired.
- 1/5
This room look nothing like the picture, so disgusting we can’t even walk with our shoes off
- 4/5
Having the complimentary breakfast every morning before Disneyland was a great bonus, and we enjoyed coming back to the pool in the afternoon when it was too hot to ride on rides.

I am writing to share my disappointment regarding my recent stay at your hotel. I originally booked a two-night stay while visiting Disneyland, but due to the overall condition of the property and room, my family and I chose to leave after only one night and drive home instead of returning for the second ev, the room and property did not meet even basic expectations for cleanliness, comfort, or maintenance. Upon arrival, we immediately noticed several issues with the room, including visible water damage on the ceiling, which was sagging significantly. The main light switch was also broken, making the room inconvenient to use. In addition, the curtains were heavily coated with dust, which contributed to an overall feeling of neglect and poor housekeeping. While walking around the property to check out the pool area, I also noticed a broken window in a second-floor room, which further raised concerns about the maintenance and safety of the building. Throughout our stay, the hotel had a strong musky and mold-like odor that was difficult to ignore. The sleeping accommodations were equally disappointing. The bed was uncomfortable, and the pillows felt old, worn out, heavy, and unhygienic. After spending a full day at Disneyland, we were hoping to return to a clean and comfortable environment to rest, but instead we decided it would be better to drive home rather than stay a second night. Overall, this experience was extremely disappointing, and I would not recommend this hotel.
- 1/5
My sister got woken up at 4am because she felt a bite. When we searched her bed, we found three bed bugs. We forgot to take a picture of the bugs before we killed them so we could have proof. We informed the front desk and they said management would call us. So when I speak to management, I expect a refund.
- 3/5
Really old place. The price was cheap though. Check in associate was very personable.
- 3/5
It was ok needs to be renovated
- 2/5
Saw a roach scurrying across the room when I put my shoes down. Literally freaked me out. It was already 2AM. I stripped the bed. Put everything back together to see if I can see where it went. Couldn’t find it. Couldn’t sleep. I was checking out the next day so I just stayed packed up, showered and got ready to go earlier than expected.
- 3/5
This is a no frills hotel for a good price near the amusement parks. The rooms are basic, showing some light wear and tear. However, everything works and worked for us for a one-night stay before an amusement park. Breakfast is mostly waffles, cereal, yogurt and egg paste.
- 1/5
Rooms are filthy, carpeting left my white socks black. Free “breakfast” is literally powdered eggs, old waffles with 3 half working toasters, filthy apples and watered down oatmeal. The parking lot is shady and often has homeless people wandering around with no security. The rooms all smell like mildew and have mold in multiple areas. A horrible hotel overall.
- 1/5
Couldn’t even get into the room very disappointed
- 1/5
Disgusting
- 5/5
Breakfast is good as long as you wake up on time
- 4/5
Guests to eat. Entire place could use an upgrade. I do love Their shuttle services to park and check-in has always been great!
- 5/5
The hotel has a convenience store inside!! WHAT THE HECK!! We loved that so much!! & then a shuttle to Disneyland!? THIS IS OUR GO TO HOTEL FROM NOW ON WHEN WE VISIT CALI!!!
- 1/5
Unfortunately the hotel is not only not clean but is not well maintained. Wallpaper was falling off the walls. Rooms and bathrooms were not cleaned properly. I had booked my stay for the weekend but cancelled. Customer service and the staff from the hotel were nice and accepted the cancellation without further charges other than the night we did stay (only because it was too late when we checked in to find another hotel).
- 1/5
I do not recommend this hotel. The main lobby is very deceiving. It’s clean fresh and beautiful. Once I got to my room on the 3rd floor it was very hot and opening the door to my room was a horrible odor I can’t even describe. As if something was burned or smoke of some sort was embedded into the pillows and the sheets.
- 3/5
That said, the staff and housekeepers were very kind and helpful, and they seemed aware of the keycard issues due to the older machines. The breakfast was average but decent enough, the TV had a good selection of channels, and the water pressure in the shower was surprisingly great. Rooms do not come with a microwave or mini fridge, but both are available upon request at the front desk. Overall, despite the outdated condition and strong smell, our stay was okay for the price, especially with the added convenience of the Disneyland shuttle.
- 5/5
Staff is wonderful, breakfast is great… But the rooms need some major upgrades needed. Carpets are old & dirty
- 1/5
WiFi didn’t work and the staff were the most unhelpful people I have had the displeasure of dealing with.
- 2/5
Hotel was very run down, wallpaper peeling off walls in hallway, lamps in our room were very loose, tv did not work, room key did not work either twice while we were there.
- 4/5
The staff was great, helpful and friendly. The breakfast area was nice and clean. Thee rooms were clean and smelled clean, comfortable beds, but the a/c was pre-set and we couldn't adjust it, kept going on and off all night. Bathroom was clean but the shower pressure was low. The pool and the area was kept clean. The area where the hotel is located is nice, private, and well lit. Felt very safe. And is close to different types of restaurants and convenience store. Thank you.
- 4/5
Was a great stay staff was amazing very helpful especially from the fuy at the front counter he was amazing. Only thing is there was no microwave in the room and shampoo was out. Also when trying to go to the hottub at night i noticed it looked closed so we didnt get to try it out but all together had a fun experience.
- 3/5
Unfortunately I will not be back .
- 3/5
The breakfast was OK
- 1/5
The pictures are not current. This place is worse than a cheap motel. The wallpaper is peeling; stains all over the carpet; staff try to get into your room - just very scary place. Please check the reviews of this hotel and others on Google prior to your stay.
- 1/5
Staff did the basics like check you in and answer questions. Property is terrible, felt like the movie shining hotel. Very scary. Would never stay here again.
- 4/5
Staff was super nice. Upgraded my room from 2 doubles to 2 queens, no charge. Hotel itself is clean. You can tell it's older, but doesn't smell and provides its purpose. Continental breakfast provided in a large conference room. Took the shuttle to DL and back, which was about 10 minutes each way. Was able to leave my car for the day, no charge. If you're OK waiting for the shuttle to take you back to the hotel, it saves the parking fee at the park. Shuttle driver was very friendly and told us stories about himself and his family during the drive. For the price of the room and the included amenities, I would definitely stay again.
- 3/5
Easy check-in and staff was nice but the halls (especially the baseboards and doors) were very dirty. The rooms smelled dusty and wall paint was chipped off in several places. Needs a good deep cleaning.
- 1/5
This place is really worn down, dirty and not comfortable. Scuffed up furniture and dirty walls. Look at the guest photos to get a current state of this hotel.
- 1/5
Walking into the place seems nice. However, don’t get fulled when you go to the rooms. The room was smelly and nasty. Basically the inside was all ghetto.
- 2/5
There was good and bad. The good included free shuttle to and from disneyland, as well as free parking on their property, and free wifi. The bad is a longer list. The whole building needs remodeled, there were stains on every carpet, paint peeling on walls, cracked floors, loose baseboards and more. The free breakfast was fine if your stay was one night but anymore nights than that it was bland and repetitive, eggs were runny and porridge was bland, and there was no other protein available in the 4 mornings we ate. The worst of the worst was they told me the accept cash deposits when I called in for immediate return once checked out but when I got there they said it had to be put on a card, then with the deposit we saw a double charge (so they took from our vacation spending 215) when we wanted the issue corrected we were told it was an issue because I gave them two different cards and that we wouldnt be reimbursed until we checked out (it was so unfortunate since our vacation was on a strict budget). I encourage you to do research and see if there are other options that might suit your needs better and if you need to stay here just prepare for possible let downs
- 5/5
Best part was the bus included that takes you to Disney!!!
- 2/5
This was the most run down Howard Johnson I have stayed at. Stained carpet throughout the facility, bad patch jobs and paint jobs on the walls, outlets that didn’t work and didn’t seem done professionally, sad shower heads, smelly rooms, headboards don’t even line up with the beds, no extras like a fridge or microwave, breakfast was cookie sheets of bread and frozen waffles, eggs with no toppings, no meat, oatmeal with raisins, or yogurt. You can get better rooms for that price. We normally stay in 3- 3.5 star rooms and will not stay there again.
- 3/5
Hotel needs upgrades. Everything is very old, the carpet in our room had a smell to it with patchy walls. Will not be staying here again.
- 5/5
Its located a stones throw from disney and the convention centre, and for the price its worth taking the free shuttle in and save a few hundred in hotel costs.. We went there for ff14 fanfest and had a wonderful time. The only downside was the breakfast was very poor. Just toast and eggs, HOWEVER its across the road from a large selection of breakfast resturants so we never felt we were missing out. The late night gift shop was a lifesaver, and sold anything you could need medications wise, or if you forgot anything. All in all, would stay again!
- 3/5
The Disney bus was very helpful, with good availability. The ride home was fast, wear a seatbelt. Lots of food options in the area, along with target and Walmart.
- 1/5
This hotel has the worst receptionists—they are so rude, and they have angry looks on their faces all the time.
- 5/5
Good
- 4/5
Did not have breakfast, parking was okay.
- 3/5
It is quiet but you get your money's worth what you pay is what you get.
- 5/5
The room was nice and comfortable, the hotel inside needs an upgrade and a bit more maintenance and cleanliness. But overall a pleasant and comfortable stay.
- 1/5
Room was dirty no refrigerator no microwave carpet was filthy maid came in just left towels didn’t wipe anything down restroom floor dirty we had to clean it there were teenagers outside drinking we did not feel safe the hotel smelled like weed. We will never stay here again.
- 4/5
The staff was kind. Our room was clean and breakfast was good. The only thing that bothered me was the air of the property was stuffy, and almost humid. As if it was wet or a flood had occurred a while ago.
- 2/5
I had to go back to the front desk multiple times just to ask basic questions like where the pool was, where breakfast was served, and how the shuttle worked—none of this was explained upfront. The breakfast was very underwhelming—just eggs and toast/bagels—not worth the cost at all. The shuttle from the parks was also late, and when I tried calling the property for an ETA, the phone system didn’t work properly. I kept pressing the option to reach the front desk, but it never connected and just kept looping. On top of that, the charger outlets in the room were loose and didn’t work properly, making it difficult to charge our phones. If you’re just looking for a place to sleep, it might work, but overall it was not worth the money, especially traveling with kids.
- 5/5
Did not eat there
- 1/5
Hotel was really run down.Pictures were extremely deceiving and very unsatisfied with the breakfast options
- 3/5
Staff was friendly and most amenities were very useful, solid breakfast and convenient shuttle. Room was nice and big with plenty of space. But property was in rough shape, and our bath was clogged and would hold water while we showered. And the lack of a mini fridge and the small bedd, despite the space in the room was a disappointment.
- 2/5
Breakfast was not very good. The waffles were made in toasters. Tables in the dining room were not washed between customers. Toasters did not hear well. The hall ways smelled really bad. The carpets need to be replaced. The rooms were clean but very out dated and the curtains were not all the way on the rods. The Jr Suite was nothing more than a Double room with a sofa bed stuck in front of the window which also kept you from being able to close the outer drapes without climbing on the sofa.
- 2/5
Rooms were very old & run down, smelly like musky. Hallways were old & dirty. Bed comfortably was a 4 out of 5. Slept good. Staff were a 5 outa 5. Excellent Customer Service all around. Shuttle to Disneyland was only morning & evening which was great but needed to come back mid day for rest/nap had to take uber. Rate for shuttle schedule 3 out 5. Shuttle Drivers 5 outa 5. They were Amazing. Breakfast on the weekday had eggs & oatmeal, cereal & bread stuff. Apples & yogurt. Coffee was good. Rate 2 outa 5 Weekend same stuff but had sausages. Rate 3 outa 5 for the meat added. Great 10min walk to Walmart or Target. Would we stay here again.. probably not, the only reason why, would be the price we paid for 3 nights $430 Canadian was not worth it. The pictures on the website do not relay what it looks like in person.
- 1/5
Not sure if this place was going through a remodel but everything was pretty dated and need to be cleaned throughout. The was no microwave or mini fridge in the room. The television was dated, the toilet barely could flush, the sink barely could drain. Screw missing on the lock, Peeling wallpaper. I could go on and on. One positive was that it was close to a lot of places to eat. If you can spend more for a better place to stay I would do that.
- 1/5
There was no hot water either night. Advised by the hotel staff that when the hotel is close to capacity the boiler can’t keep up. At 10 pm I was told to wait an hour or two and maybe there would be warm water for a shower.
- 3/5
The staff are very friendly. The lobby looks nice but the hallway’s carpet was dirty and the doorways and elevator were beat up and dirty. The room was similar. The sink had a slight foul odor. The parking lot wasn’t well lit and behind a loud bar. The desk chair was broken but bed was comfortable.
- 3/5
Staff was very professional and friendly. Main lobby looked updated but hotel room had a lot of wear and tear that needs to be replaced overall. Beds were too soft and uncomfortable. Weekday breakfast was adequate but they did not have any meat. Main reason for choosing this hotel was for the free shuttle to Disneyland.
- 1/5
The lobby area was fine. The room was dirty, musty and dark. 3 out of 4 outlets did not work and the top drawer of the dresser was totally broken. The bathroom was musty and while not visibly dirty did not smell or feel clean.
- 5/5
Clean room, helpful staff. We had some personal items that were kind of thrown around after housekeeping tended to our room but no big deal it was a personal pillow and blanket that was tossed to the side after the bed was made. Parking was simple and free. Will stay again for the convenience and central location.
- 2/5
This is a run down hotel. Staff is nice, but place is a dump. We were too tired to try to book somewhere else.
- 1/5
Amazing staff. Property definitely outdated, rooms need to be upgraded and there was NO HOT WATER..
- 3/5
The amenities were nice, breakfast was good, they have a shuttle to Disneyland, but the room conditions were not great.
- 1/5
It’s a dump!
- 2/5
The room was very dated, with a hard mattress and lumpy pillows. It took forever for the shower to get hot water. The hallways smelled like cigarette smoke and the elevators kept trying to close on us before we could fully get in.
- 1/5
This experience was terrible. The building is old run down and ghetto. The rooms and dirty smelly and outdated. Out first room smelled like mold and smoke. They moved us to another but it was also dirty. Had spider webs on the ceiling it was extremely noisy the carpet was disgusting there were stains on the couch and carpet. We have stayed in the past but this was the worst experience so far. Never staying there again.
- 3/5
Good Breakfast, hotel outdated. Air con barely worked
- 5/5
Building needs up grade . A paint job is over due.
- 1/5
Breakfast was terrible. The only good thing was the shuttle transportation to Disney.
- 1/5
Very old and smell weed in the hall way and facilicity. Will not stay again
- 3/5
For the price it’s good but overall okay. It’s an older used property with lots of wear and tear. Bed was harder but not uncomfortable. The room was run down and the continental breakfast was not a show stopper. Paper plates and disposable everything. Just bland. It’s good for one night to get some shuteye and a shower.
- 1/5
Dirty walls, dirty carpet, gross
- 1/5
The most disgusting hotel I’ve ever seen. Holes in the walls covered by clear tape. Mold everywhere. Elevator smelled like someone puked and pissed in there. The curtains were covered in a layer of dust as if nobody had been in these rooms in months. White substance splattered along the same curtains. Smokey hallways that looked like I was walking on the set of a scary movie. Myself and my two children immediately turned around and checked back out. I felt so unsafe. Now I’ve been fighting for almost a week to get a refund. We didn’t even stay for longer than 2minutes. But I was charged for all 4 nights and offered a $50 key cash credit. The pictures have got to be doctored or AI generated. DO NOT STAY HERE! I will never book through a third party ever again. I wish I had thought to snap some pics, but I wasn’t thinking I’d have to fight for a refund. I did however take a quick pic on our way out.
- 1/5
The rooms look nothing like the pictures of the beds were not queen size they were full-size. The smell in the rooms was terrible as much money as this hotel make they can do a way better job surviving a gas decent breakfast. It was awful. It needs major upgrading. The water was not hot, but the price was fair. Did a Disney trip so it was OK for a quick sleep and go a staff was phenomenal.
- 3/5
It needs a better breakfast and remodelación
- 3/5
Parking was ok, side doors you are unable to access and its a large hotel, bigg inconvenient. Basic amenities are not met, nor a resolution. NO HOT, NOT EVEN WARM WATER FOR 3 DAYS!! COMPLETELY UNEXPECTABLE!! Front desk simply said ohhh lm so sorry!! No solution room change nothing. Housekeeper very kind and willing to help with anything. Hot coffee thankfully. Walking distance to shopping n food n spirits.
- 4/5
The overall stay was decent. The check in was easy and the staff was helpful. This hotel is a bit “seasoned” and needs a little updating, but even with older interior the hotel was clean and the bed and pillows were very cozy. The gift shop was convenient and the attendant was really nice. The food was basic but still good. The rooms don’t have a microwave or refrigerator in them but you can request them upon arrival which is great. The location is the best. Right next to the freeway and so many restaurants and stores. The free shuttle was so helpful getting to Disneyland, but they only run in the morning and the evening so no pick ups or drop offs during lunch time. I would stay here again.
- 2/5
Room was not clean. The bathroom didn’t look like it was washed
- 5/5
Clean room and staff
- 5/5
We always stay here when we go to Disneyland. They offer breakfast and have a shuttle. The staff is always friendly and parking is easy. The rooms are clean, even though the beds aren't comfortable. They are manageable to use. The only thing I would say is a downside is that it gets a little stuffy. The fan is either too cold or the heater is too hot. There isn't an in-between. Other than that, I'm going to keep coming back.
- 4/5
Breakfast was fair but not good. We only ate once. Rooms are outdated but for rate is was reasonable. No problem with parking or the area. Shopping close by as well as other places to eat. Beds were comfortable and highway noise was not noticeable.
- 1/5
There was a roach in my room when I informed the staff that the room was dirty, the carpet was wet, and there was a roach occupying my room. They showed no surprise or concern. I booked another room at another hotel. I was there for 5 minutes. Don’t stay here !!!!!!!!
- 4/5
It w as fresh but need more menu items to choose from everyday.
- 2/5
It was safe but that's about it!! And in a nice location. Toilet ran all night refrigerator didn't work. Carpet needs replacing garbage can from room in hallway my whole 4 day stay smelled very little hot water and hot tub didn't work.
- 1/5
This was the worst hotel I’ve stayed in. Expedias pictures are extremely deceptive!! Carpet stains throughout the entire place, mold in our shower and ripped shower curtain, furniture was horrible, mattress was unbearable, none of the electrical outlets worked. Hot tub fenced off. THE SHUTTLE ONLY OPERATES CERTAIN HOURS AND WAS STANDING ROOM ONLY.
- 3/5
Staff was excellent, especially the shuttle bus drivers. Breakfast was decent, could use some more options. Our key cards didn’t work at the end of the day every day, had to go to the front desk to get them fixed.
- 1/5
Terrible hotel, It's more like a motel. The carpet was grossly dirty, in the room and hallways. The wall paper was peeling off. Ice machines didn't work, you had to go to the first floor to get ice. Questionable people coming in and out. Not sure if people live there but it looked like it. Dog pooped all over the outside by the pool. very gross. The pool was dirty. The pool furniture was broken. The jacuzzi was "under construction". I put parenthesis because it was just blocked off, no actual construction. There was gravel on the floor that eventually made it inside the pool. The staff was rude. Only one young lady working the front desk in the evening shift was polite. The breakfast was disappointing. The coffee was gross. Overall, would not recommend anyone stay here unless, specially with children.
- 5/5
Yes. Everything was perfect.
- 3/5
It was okay
- 2/5
The photos look nothing like the room. There was no couch in the kind room and there wa nothing they wanted to do to fix this
- 3/5
Shuttle to Disney had very unclear instructions and one driver was rude about it.
- 3/5
Every day I stayed there I had to keep going back to the main desk to get both my room keys reactivated to open up the doors around the property and into my room.
- 2/5
Although free parking and free shuttle to Disneyland was great. My room keys were constantly getting demagnetized. I requested for towels 2 times at night and a third time in the morning. We had to walk to the front desk to finally get towels. Room door did not lock from inside. I booked
- 5/5
Nice stay great roo
- 1/5
It was old, not very clean and the staff was not very accommodating.
- 4/5
While the overall condition of the hotel was excellent and generally suitable for a comfortable stay, my experience was effected by a few operational issue. The room provided at check-in was not the one I originally booked, and despite requesting a basic amenity such as microwave, it took two days for the staff to resolve the issue. It appears that the root cause may have been an overbooking or misalignment between Expedia and the hotel's intenal reservation system. However, the front desk team could certainly be more professional and customer-focused in handling such situations. The only person who consistently offered support and clear communication was the manager
- 3/5
Room was clean. Staff was nice. The only complaint is the hallway smelled like old cigarettes. If you can't get the smell out of the carpets maybe remove and put down new flooring? Lysol did help with odor.
- 5/5
The breakfast and shuttle were great
- 3/5
Cleanse and room wasn’t like the pictures
- 3/5
Room was severely outdated, we had dirty towels when we walked in, there were stains on the bed sheets but the front desk was very kind and replaced them right away, it took us 4 days of repeatedly asking for a fridge since we were there for 8 days, and kept being told we would get one, finally did after talking with Alyssa on the 4th day, water got shut off one of the days we were there for about 4 hours which isn’t that big of deal, definitely needs some reworking but it was cheap and fine if you’re only there to sleep
- 2/5
The room was dated and unclean (2 towels had strands of hair). The television remote did not work. I went to the front desk, where I was given new batteries - which did not solve the issue. The shower curtain kept sliding off.
- 1/5
Room was outdated, no hot water, half of the electrical outlets didn’t work, and smelled of cigarette smoke. Just terrible in overall quality. Staff was nice enough though.
- 1/5
Everything was horrific not stay!
- 2/5
Mildew smell, windows dripping with moisture, wallpaper peeling everywhere, tiles chipped, room floors filthy. The beds seemed clean and did the job otherwise I would give this a one star.
- 5/5
Clean rooms, easy check in & out. Front desk clerks were very helpful with breakfast times and shuttle times.
- 5/5
very good, shuttle to parks was very helpful and convenient
- 1/5
Staff was rude room condition was horrible
- 1/5
Dirty, smelly, and key never worked to get in room.
- 2/5
We stayed here because of its proximity to Disney and because it offered a free shuttle to both parks, which we found very useful. We know it's not a 5-star hotel (in fact, I doubt it even reaches 3 stars), but it's really bad. It doesn't look like the photos. I had seen reviews before booking, but honestly, in person it's horrible, old, and quite dirty. I felt very uneasy staying there because the hotel's appearance is really bad, it smells awful, and I even found cockroaches in the room. Their "breakfast" is also quite bad, with few options and a rather unpleasant, artificial taste. The staff is friendly so that’s the only reason why I rated as 2 starts but tbh it deserves -10 stars, this hotel really needs to be renovated urgently.
- 3/5
Our fridge didn’t work, it was on but never got cold and our microwave almost blew up Used it twice to heat something small and the second time it zapped as if something metallic was in it. Staff was nice, complimentary breakfast spread was decent. Place needs a lot of love Stayed 1 night and it was ok but I’ll find some place else before there again
- 4/5
Hotel is old. Room was clean but smelled funny and could use some work. Bathroom was falling apart from water damage. Breakfast was very good and much appreciated. Bus driver was great and very accommodating
- 5/5
Clean room! And super easy check in and check out
- 3/5
The eggs in the breakfast were not eggs
- 3/5
the staff was friendly but rooms were dirty
- 5/5
Very wel3
- 2/5
The photos are deceiving, hotel is not in good shape. Carpet that is torn, holes in walls, doors deteriorating at the bottom. Didn’t feel clean.
- 1/5
The room was disgusting. I have never had this issue here before.
- 2/5
The property is very run down, it's old but, it can be cleaner. Walking through hall, just hotel room doors dirty, could be wiped clean by staff, old can be preserved with tlc. carpets were not clean at all. This place needs some serious cleaning over all. Not at all what we expected. We only slept and left next day early.
- 4/5
Stay was good. Clean room, good breakfast.
- 2/5
The hotel was dirty and falling apart. Leaking roof and strange for on the 1st floor
- 1/5
Horrible place , staff terrible horrible service . Room filthy . I dropped the keys at front desk without staying in.
- 2/5
The room was dirty, no hot water in the shower, not many options for breakfast and there were bugs. Definitely not staying here again.
- 2/5
Our Beds were too soft and moves so much you feel like you will roll off. Both Shower curtain and towel racks were loose from its mounts on the walls.
- 2/5
Beds were very worn, bathroom wallpaper peeling, conventional breakfast very small with no meat option musty smell throughout entire hotel
- 4/5
I can see how some people would give this hotel bad reviews but I’m not a super picky person. This hotel is in a good location and that’s all that really mattered to me. I would kindly suggest management do some small overhauling of certain things such as lighting and updated phones in rooms as well as providing a mini fridge and microwave. Otherwise I enjoyed our stay and staff was kind and helpful. Extra shout out to the female working Sunday 2/15 in the morning. She is an excellent addition to your team.
- 3/5
There’s not sufficient staff in the evenings. Took over 30 min to get a room key after pre check in. The room key was not working and had to wait in line another 2 times. Was continuing to get my card got the rook I had already paid for. Rooms were not in good condition. Curtains couldn’t close, doors were difficult to close. Ice machine didn’t work in our floor.
- 2/5
Hotel is not like the pictures, dirty, sketchy.
- 2/5
walked in.
- 1/5
Honestly I was the really bad
- 3/5
The room was a bit smaller than expected and well we had to experience on one night a couple who was arguing outside on the hallway. Other than that the breakfast was great.
- 3/5
Staff was very nice. Lobby is much nicer than the room. Clean but gives Morel 6 vibes. Poorly maintained. All of the outlets were loose wouldn't hold the plugs.
- 2/5
Dirty rooms
- 2/5
Moldy room, no fan bathroom, old facility broken down
- 2/5
The rooms are old and dirty. Staff was nice
- 4/5
No fridge or microwave in the rooms. Hotel looks creepy but other than that the staff is friendly and the price is good.
- 3/5
Staff seemed courteous but the room looked too old and furnitures were over used.
- 5/5
Need to make sure u dont leave just a little bit of tolite paper on rolls or else leave xtra roll in room.also your breakfast should include sugar free drinks..or black tea..i didnt have anything to drink..no sugar free jelly or anything for diabetics
- 5/5
Clean
- 2/5
There’s a hotel next door. Spend the extra. They share a shuttle to Disney. Yes this place has a shuttle to Disney and serves breakfast. It’s also run down like there hasn’t been a single repair or upgrade in the halls since 1970. The rooms were old also. The beds were clean and the bathroom was clean. The service workers are on it! We had a bad time with our room neighbor. They came back around 1am to their room and I could hear them up and yelling at each other til 6am. We had to be up at 6am. Security came and told them to be quiet after we called but they were at it 10 mins after security left. There’s ego waffles, bagels and cereal for breakfast. The halls of the hotel looks like a very bad Vegas hotel.
- 1/5
Never in my life have I been to such a horrible place to stay. Dirty carpets in hallways, walls with massive scrapes and bits missing, fowl smelling rooms. We checked in and went to the room. 5 minutes later we booked elsewhere and walked out.
- 1/5
The room was filthy and blood stains on the ceiling. Mold on the ac unit! The locks did not work and the bed sheets had stains
- 2/5
The front desk staff had difficulty finding our reservation and overall it was an awkward interaction. The room smelled of paint and smoke. There was orange rust in the shower. The tv didn’t work. Next time we will probably just spend the extra money for a nicer hotel.
- 3/5
Tv didn't work and the AC didn't keep the room cold
- 1/5
It smelled very bad there were bugs flying everywhere in the room do not recommend
- 2/5
The hotel is run down and dirty. My room smelled like weed. The breakfast was alright.
- 3/5
There were holes in the walls in hallways.
- 3/5
The breakfast is poor
- 4/5
The lady at the check in desk was really friendly and helpful…especially when I realised I’d accidentally booked the room for two weeks away!
- 5/5
Spacious room, great location (specially for Disney tourist), friendly service
- 1/5
You guys need to tear down that whole place and build a brand new hotel or renovate
- 3/5
Room was a bit dusty and old with some pillows having stains, halls ways where quiet with dim lighting and old carpeting. No microwave or mini fridge as well. While staying there was okay the biggest issue with this hotel is having to ask them for a new key everytime we left. Another issue was having to repeatedly ask for toilet paper as they only give you one roll.
- 1/5
No room service, even I request.
- 3/5
Staff was great. Floors were dirty and overall rooms are very out of date.
- 3/5
Room needs major up grades old carpet and bathrooms need attention and remodel. Room had no refrigerator had to call front desk to bring one to the room. Staff was good.
- 2/5
Room was so filthy with a horrible mold smell that I had to ask for another room. Staff was helpful on finding another room, but the entire hotel needs hygiene and/or renovation.
- 1/5
The place is overall dirty
- 1/5
When I received the room, it was supposed to be two bedrooms, but they only gave me one. I had to complain to get my other room.
- 2/5
Hotel is dirty, dingy, old. Had an odor in the hallways and rooms. Just hasn't been kept very clean and is very run down. Needs updating.
- 2/5
The location is in poor shape. It’s very run down.
- 3/5
The hotel needs to be remodeled. The wall papers and paint are peeling. Bathroom mirror has black stains.
- 2/5
None of the outlets were working the air conditioner/heater that did not work we had to move the TV to a working Outlet so we can watch tv! It looks like to need peed on the wall next to the headboard of the bed! The only good thing about this hotel was the shuttle that doesn't run all day by the way!
- 3/5
The property needs upgrades. It’s old and outdated but the staff was friendly.
- 1/5
Disgusting room, hole in the wall. Dirty restroom and carpets
- 1/5
Upon checkin staff member named Lacee checked us in, but before she checked us in she had an attitude and said, “I’m finishing my night audits right now and I will check you in after.” Left me with no choice so I said sure. But no time frame or communication when check in would happen. I don’t know what is done for night audits so no clue on when it would be done. I had my little kids with me and everyone was tired as it was 2am. Her lack of sympathy and unawareness of my situation really left an impression on me. Not even to offer water or ask how she can even help make the kids more comfortable while waiting. Also, breakfast. No meat options on the first morning there. No bacon or sausages as an option for a basic free breakfast. Which is usually the standard. However, Sat morning had sausages so not sure if the inconsistency was on purpose. Our room had a phone that didn’t even work. We needed more towels and couldn’t even call front desk. I had to ask my eldest to walk down from the 4th floor to get our own towels. One of my kiddos got car sick and I needed to wash a small blanket. However, the washers and dryers were all out of order. Yes, you pay for what you get for but even at the lowest rate good customer service is just a basic. Most things “offered” were not available
- 5/5
Perfect
- 5/5
Clean, shuttle is great
- 5/5
Will always stay here when we go to Disneyland we love the front desk staff and the staff always helpful. Even though the property is a little dated it will always be our go to
- 1/5
Upon early arrival (that was offered as an add in at inline checkin) was not available the continental breakfast was interesting including thawed frozen waffles. Once a room was finally available the phone had no phone cord or buttons the bigger room lamp was broken so I walked back down stairs to complain only to be told they were sold out so they can notate it after further inspection noticed the tv had a broken spot on it and the bathroom was flithy we laid towels down everywhere to avoid the dirtiness from getting on our feet when you walked the hall to get to the ice machine the room doors were dirty poorly painted the elevator floor looked nasty last night there uoon returning the floor was filled with weed smoke and was too tired to go back down to the lobby for them to do nothing 10/10 would not recommend or stay there ever again
- 4/5
It's a great budget hotel for work or travel if your not spending a lot of time at tge hotel. Its one that I will return too.
- 5/5
Good parking
- 4/5
Staff was nice, rooms were clean, loved the breakfast buffet! The only thing was that we got to our room on the 3rd floor and the keys did not work it wouldn’t open our door , we tried both keys and so we had to go back down to let them know our keys were not working… which was kinda disappointing because we were already tired and wanted to get in and lay down…the girls up front fixed the issue right away! Other than that our stay was great!
- 1/5
It was dirty, very neglected, and didn't look safe at all. The room keys didn't work, and it looked nothing like the pictures.
- 4/5
Staff was friendly, parking was super close, the room was nice and we had pleasant stay.
- 3/5
All its good excellent customer service
- 3/5
Breakfast was minimal.
- 4/5
Rooms are clean but dated large - carpet dated large hotel very convenient free breakfast nice shuttle to Disneyland free makes up for a lot !
- 5/5
The room was great. The staff was kind but I requested for microwave since we were staying for more than 2 nights, he said yes but there was no microwave sent to our room until we left. Other than that, everything was great.
- 4/5
Good
- 4/5
Hotel was great!
- 4/5
I read a lot of bad comments about this place, but my three girls love it and me too. We didn’t have any issues with the room. Fair breakfast. I like it that they don’t charge for parking and they have a shuttle to take you Disney.
- 1/5
Room next to mine was loud, fighting, drunk. Front desk staff were rude when I reported it. Finally had to call the police because I could hear the domestic violence through the wall
- 3/5
Room and staff were great. Problem was the other guests , at around 5:40 a full fledge fight broke out next door for about an hour. At one point I thought they were going to bust through the door into my room.
- 5/5
Perfect for what we needed
- 1/5
super dumpy- smelled badly in room
- 2/5
Room was in rough condition; door locking device & key reader intermittently functioning at best. Bathroom in poor condition. Countless carpet stains.
- 2/5
The rooms were outdated. The hallway looked like something out of a horror movie falling apart and not clean.
- 3/5
Yess room in good condition
- 2/5
No amenities really; laundry broken, no gym and breakfast was average. Kept running out of eggs and toasters didn't work well
- 1/5
The hotel and room was ran down. There was a bug leg on our bed and the toilet broke. The driver for the shuttle was very reckless. no refrigerator and very old coffee maker.
- 1/5
I had problems with the key like 5 time they had to reset the door and the hotel wasn’t what I saw in the website it wasn’t worth paying for I had problem with the hot water and the room smelled like a senior living area
- 4/5
The staff was great the room was fine.
- 1/5
It wasn't a good stay
- 3/5
Parking is fine. The room where I stayed 146 smells bad. Humid. Carpets are dirty. The heater didn't work for 2 nights and 3 days. Had to change the room to another one 312. This one was better. No smell and heater works fine. But the shower water pressure was very weak.
- 2/5
Bathrooms walls you could see molding around them including in the sink and toilet. I requested a second room. However, it did not make any difference. The entire hotel is dirty sadly. I was expecting a better conditions from a Howard Johnson hotel.
- 2/5
Hotel Smells terrible, Pillow cases were stained, Carpet was dirty and the whole place looks like havent had maintanance in years!
- 2/5
The entry way was amazing. After that the hotel was rundown. The staff was great.
- 1/5
The worst experience ever, the hotel was so horrible, room was disgusting, staff was rude, breakfast was super bad. This was the worst hotel I ever stayed at.
- 2/5
Rooms need to be remodeled. Amenities said microwave, and mini fridge and we had none of that. No hot water for shower. It was four of us and the hot water ran for maybe 20 seconds then it was lukewarm or cold. Staff was not rude but was very dry. Breakfast was whatever. Just went the first morning. Shuttle service to the Disney Parks was convenient.
- 2/5
Hotel has a moldy damped smell to it.
- 3/5
During our stay breakfast consisted of frozen waffles, bagel, bread, egg, oatmeal, cereal.Breakfast ends at 9:30 am and 30 minutes before staff is coming in with loud carts and rushing to take food away. In hallways of the hotel the wallpaper is falling off. Rooms have a dusty odor, and the walls are dirty. There is a lot of parking though.
- 1/5
Very rude front desk service specially from Alyssa and bad smelling carpets
- 1/5
The worst experience of my life. There was pubic hair in shower, hair on towels, black mold in window and bugs in the heater. No screen on windows and the smell of the second floor was horrific. There were dead bugs under the mattress and crumbs in the bed. This place needs to be demolished due to health and safety concerns.
- 1/5
No hot water and there bugs
- 1/5
The rooms look like they are for homeless people
- 4/5
Place needs some TLC. But with the staff being wonderful & accommodating. It compensated for the place looking a little bit old. Over all we enjoyed our stay!
- 2/5
I booked my room more than 2 weeks ahead of time and request for the connecting rooms due to kids staying with families. At the checking time, I asked the deont desk and she said she won't make room arrangement until the day before check in so there is no availability, of course. The rooms are in rhe same floor but really apart and the kids are upset. The room facilities is terrible, wifi is super slower that could not load up any youtube for my kids on ipads. The toilet gave me the feeling that it would stuck anytime. The water is super slow. Overall, lucky me I just book for a night. Terrible experience!
- 1/5
Very run down room was dirty very dirty wall plugs didn’t work. Just don’t
- 5/5
Staff was super helpful and friendly! When one room wasn’t working out for my wife and I, I believe Chase was his name working the front desk he found a room that was available and it was instantly more comfortable!
- 4/5
Service was great. Breakfast was ok. My only complaint was that the room smelled like cigarettes.
- 2/5
The lock was broken and the night rep was not helpful.
- 1/5
The hotel was I very bad condition, first room we were placed had a strong odor. We had to be moved to other room but the entire stay was not what you expect when you book a hotel to stay with family.
- 2/5
Noisy room with lot of freeway noise. Poorly maintained rooms
- 5/5
On Christmas day exspecialy would of thought you would have bacon or sausage with breakfast
- 5/5
Yes
- 1/5
Forget about the breakfast. Unless you like bread. Thw wifi doesn't work. When i inquired about the wifi, staff said its normal. Normal in the fact that you are only able to connect, abd thats it. Staff said the wifi doesn't even work for them. My room looked like someone died in it. Something was splashed on yhe walls. Actually looked like blood. The bathroom toilet didn't work and the sink faucet has a hole in it from all the uears of use. Walking through the hallways gave a very dark and unsettling feeling. Like i was going to get robbed. I would not recommend this hotel unless you're used to sleeping on the streets. You're better booking the best western next door. Area had lots of food options tho. Hotel served their oatmeal in a trough. Cream cheese was good. Nothing to put it on, but still good

Hotel was older and rooms were outdated. Hallways smelt like weed and parking lot scary after dark.
- 1/5
Really old outdated hotel dirty burnt rugs black mold in bathrooms dust all over walls. They don’t even vacuum the hallways of the hotel. Bed mattresses were worn out collapsing in middle. Paid for microwave and fridge in room had to wait two days to get one. Phone did not work in room, breakfast was eggs waffles. Only good thing about the hotel is the Disneyland park shuttle. I advised not to stay here your better off at the motel 6 then this place.
- 3/5
Bathroom not working for 2/3 days we stayed, informed mgmt but never got it taken care of.
- 5/5
Staff sooo helpful
- 1/5
There were roaches in our room. I asked staff for a refund, but due to policy, although there were bugs and I got bit by them as well as my son they only refunded me half of a day horrible do not come. I was told there was lots of reviews on bugs.
- 3/5
Rooms are dirty door knobs are broken, no comforters, pillows are old and smelly enough to smell someone cologne
- 2/5
The hallway carpet was dirty with stains on the walls. The room had dirty floors and there was a large yellow stain on one of the bathroom towels.
- 3/5
When arriving to this location it’s easily missed because there isn’t a big sign. Hotel seems small from the outside. Lobby is nice but the whole hotel could definitely use renovation. It’s old and hallways could scare customers away. Rooms are decently sized and clean thankfully. Staff was friendly. Overall decent hotel but could use some upgrades.

Rooms and hallways had a horrible smell. Hallways smelled like smoke and dog. Elevator was dirty, old and needs a new paint job. Key fob didn't work throughout the whole stay, had to go to front desk everytime we stepped out. Will not be staying here again.
- 1/5
This trashy joke of a motel has roaches, bedbugs and mold. If you think I’m joking check the reviews. The 5 star reviews are fake. This is the crummiest motel I’ve ever booked. I checked out 5 min after checking in it’s so pathetic. This place should be shut down immediately, it’s an absolute dump. Normally reviews exaggerate, but not for this place.
- 1/5
I got bit by bed bugs...

The air conditioner was not working properly got sick from it. It smell coming out from there was a strong odor had to turn it off and then the room got warm was there for three days only change towels one time and did the bed the carpet needed cleaning the picture showed online are different from the hotel needs to have a paint job won’t stay there again😒

- 1/5
Hotel is rundown and we got no sleep due to people fighting down the hall. 2 separate incidents in one night. Made 2 requests to the staff for simple things like restocking lotion and checking for a lost bag. No follow up to either.
- 5/5
Staff was very professional and friendly. Grateful for the shuttle service to and from Disneyland! The room was very clean, bed and pillows were comfortable. However, the hallway carpets were very stained and dirty and need replacing,

I would give 0 stars but its not an option. This hotel is disgusting!! I took several photos. They haven't updated this hotel for probably 20 years there's things peeling off the walls there's mold in the bathroom there's mold on the curtains outlets don't work!!! I could go on and on!!!
- 5/5
Just a place to lay my head for a few hours. It was functional.

Staff are very friendly

Sadly, for as good as the staff is and the proximity to the parks, it's just not worth the savings for the quality of the hotel. We had booked two queens but received two fulls. Our window was jammed open and maintenance was unable to close it. And our room keys had to be reprogrammed each night after returning from the park; which at midnight, is pretty cumbersome. Again, the

The hotel is a mess and falling apart. Wallpaper falling off the wall and it’s just old, outdated and not really clean. Check in was a disaster. We had requested early check in and were “greeted” by the rudest employee who told us they were booked solid and didn’t even want to check on our request. After sitting down trying to figure out what we were going to do we got an email saying our early check in was denied. Would have been nice to have received that the following morning when we requested it. Water on full hot mode wasn’t hot enough for a nice shower either and mattress was lumpy and soft. A few good things - everyone but the initial check in person we encountered was lovely. Breakfast was basic but it was nice to have. Overall I do not recommend at all. Stay somewhere cheaper closer to the park and just uber rather than trying to match your time to their pathetic shuttle schedule.
- 1/5
Mold spores in the showers of multiple units that they moved us to. Expedia is saying that they cannot get ahold of anyone at the front desk to verify my check out so they cannot issue a refund which is crazy because they told me that they already refunded Expedia.
- 1/5
Parking felt unsafe, homeless sleeping in the hallways, rooms were dirty, found a roach in my room had to get a different room. Carpets in the hallways were horrible.
- 3/5
Room and bathroom needs to be cleaned better. There was stains on the carpet and curtains. Overall hotel not very well maintained. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Would not stay there again.
- 1/5
The photos for this hotel are very deceiving. The front desk area looks nice, but everything beyond that is questionable. Our room was dusty and dirty, and the air conditioner was full of dust. The biggest issue happened when we returned from dinner and found a homeless person sitting inside the hotel, in a corner extremely close to our room door, drinking from a bottle of alcohol. This made us feel completely unsafe. We ended up leaving the hotel within just a few hours of checking in. I would not recommend staying here.
- 1/5
The room was dirty and had a bad smell. Found a dirty towel in the bathroom and toe nail clippings on the stained carpet.
- 1/5
The room felt neglected and false advertisement of the hotel's quality. We did not stay at this hotel. I would like a refund.
- 4/5
Muy bien lugar, pero les hace falta tener refrigeradores

His customer service was unprofessional, and it came across as though he dislikes his job and takes it out on customers. This kind of treatment is unacceptable, and I believe it should be addressed seriously. Thank you.
- 3/5
Jacuzzi was not avail pool was way too cold could be heated. Other than that no problems
- 2/5
Pretty nasty breakfast with extremely limited choices. The whole property is run down - paint peeling, cracks everywhere, weird smells. They just don’t seem to ever do maintenance. One of our 3 nights we didn’t have any housekeeping service for some reason. The staff was polite and helpful and we enjoyed the convenience of the shuttle to Disney, the first one left the hotel at 7:30 AM and the last one left Disney at 11:30. The room was dirty, sheets and blankets weren’t very comfortable and very gray. Not soft at all. If you are on a tight budget and just need a bed this is a perfect hotel. Otherwise, stay far away

Hotel smelled like smoke and meldew rooms are not like the pictures run down noice is ridiculous people coming in out slamming doors all night long talking in the hallways all hrs of the night and you can hear the freeway noice all night you won’t get any rest here do not recommend
- 1/5
Old property, it can be old but isn’t well maintained, check in was horrible, front desk threaten us with probably not having the room available despite it was already prepaid, zero flexibility with the security deposit, construction with plumbing going on
- 4/5
The rooms were clean, the staff was friendly. We did have to switch rooms due to a broken bed in the first one. Then the second one the TV had a poor picture and the phone was ripped out of the wall. We did report it immediately and were told someone would come and take a look but no one ever did. We were disappointed that they no longer had the waffle machine for breakfast. Overall good stay and nice staff
- 1/5
You could smell mold throughout, also the beds were very itchy feels like bugs are crawling on you we had to buy our own blankets and sheets, there were also people walking throughout the hotel using the outlets for phone charging im not sure if they were guests but they did not look like it
- 1/5
Bad odor Room not well maintained Over charged Phone ringing in the middle of the night
- 4/5
The room needs painting and upgrades. The carpet, fridge and microwave was dirty. Huge sewage smell in the hall of the 2nd floor when you get off the elevater. Dirty carpet in halls too! Blue tape on the walls for the wallpaper. Check in area very nice. The rest of the building needs some work. The breakfast was average. Parking was convenient. Huge misery trying to sleep because the freeway was right there. As for the staff, they were excellent. Friendly and helpful. Really awesome little gift shop also.
- 2/5
Run down, smelly and nail clippings on the night stand.
- 1/5
Breakfast was good, variety choices were fair. The hotel itself is really runned down once you pass the lobby. Our bathroom had black mold on the ceiling, bedroom had a burn from an iron on the floor. Did not feel clean! Room had a weird smell to it, and water was leaking from the window. For being a Wyndam hotel I was very disappointed. Staff was also not very friendly, no smiles or attempts to give good customer service.
- 2/5
Howard Johnson missed the mark in this hotel. I booked for the convenience of breakfast and Disneyland shuttle and did not expect to be in such a run down hotel. The hallways were extremely dingy from the filthy carpets, peeling wallpaper and dirty paint. A/C blew out horrible smells when turned on. The bathroom sink had an awful smell when the water was turned on. Breakfast was minimal and forced us to find alternatives across the street. I never write reviews like this but the owners should care more about what they offer to paying customers.
- 1/5
BEWARE** We were woken up by bed bugs at 230 am... I could not find another hotel and was stuck with switching our adjoining rooms. We had to keep everything in our cars. Mold all over curtains. 3 out of 5 of us have coughs since the stay and are seeking medical care. The keys would stop working after 1 use the whole stay. (needed to replace keys 14 times) The shuttle didnt abide by schedule so we had to uber to and from EVERY day we were there. The walls were held together by painters tape. DO NOT STAY HERE... avoid avoid avoid...
- 3/5
I was expecting something better, the room was too smelly, I had to buy a spray to keep a good smell in the room, smells like humidity. The condition on the hallways, I feel that it could be better and the breakfast, It was the same thing every single day, scrambled eggs and bread, cereal or oatmeal just one day of the week that I was there they had sausages. Beside everything I had a good sleep, everyone was nice and I didn’t have any problems ☺️
- 5/5
In years past breakfast Buffett was much better and hotel was dirty and worn out carpet etc.
- 5/5
Great staff and convenient parking.
- 2/5
The front desk staff at check in was very unfriendly. The carpeting in the entire hotel was filthy and stained. There were holes in the walls. Wallpaper peeling. Light fixtures without coverings and were tilted. We had to get new door keys daily because, as the front desk person said," its an old system."
- 2/5
internet was slow.
- 2/5
Old run down hotel. Hotel corridors were dirty. Carpets look like they haven’t been cleaned in 20 years. Staff was mediocre. Got locked out of my room twice in just two days staying there because key didn’t work. I do not recommend staying at this hotel.
- 3/5

Love the breakfast menu, very filling and varieties. There's lots of parking and a good shuttle to Disneyland.

The room's AC only worked when we put up the curtains. The breakfast was very unappetizing. The Disney shuttle driver at night (on 10/30) was very rude to my husband, who has a disability, during pickup. He made him get off the bus and let women board first. He also told my husband that if he didn’t get off, he would make him wait another hour.
- 5/5
Room was great! Nice and clean! they don’t have a refrigerator.
- 3/5
Rooms were quiet, beds were comfy but whole hotel needs updating.
- 1/5
The hotel overall just suck all together. Keys didn’t work, internet non working, rooms was far from lobby, no ice in the vending machine, staff was horrible.
- 2/5
Was not what I expected. The room had a strong pungent smell. I returned to the front desk and left immediately. I’ve never written a bad review. There were other issues I wish not to mention. Sorry 😣
- 5/5
.todo estuvo muy bien

I’ve stayed here at least 15-20 times this year but today was terrible. Room was filthy. Dead flies on ceiling in shower. Upon checking in went to the room and the door handle was broken, it was literally coming off the door. Went back to the front desk to let them know and they stated that the hotel was sold out and they didn’t have a maintenance worker available until morning so I could go try to get in again or they could issue a refund. It’s 9pm, so I go back and finally get in. Upon waking up to leave for my appointment at 6am I came to realize I was locked in the room because the handle just spun and would open the door. I called the front desk and they stated they would send someone in about an hour. (3 hours later) It’s now 9am and I’m still locked in the room. No one ever showed up and I finally was able to get some screws pushed back in and open the door. I overlooked something’s before but this is my last booking here.
- 1/5
The room was dirty and it smell like cigarette I did not stay in the hotel. I had to book another hotel.
- 2/5
Breakfast was ok and food was fresh but the facility crowded at breakfast. The entire hotel smelled of weed and mold. While you see the staff cleaning the facility did not feel clean. Parking was fine though gated in a not so safe feeling part of town. The hotel also charged and held $400.00 over the booking price at the time of check in.
- 1/5
Worst hotel I have ever stay in. I got locked in the restroom and was unable to open the door due to faulty locks.
- 4/5
Ok hotel service. Breakfast was run of the mill service. Nothing really stood out negative or positive.
- 2/5
The hotel was primarily a place to sleep during my visit to the Disney parks, it could have been cleaner. I found a sock under my bed that is probably still there, room 228. And pubic hair in my towels and floor. Breakfast and the shuttle were the primary reason for booking and was s good deal.
- 4/5
Ok
- 2/5
Booked this hotel based on several good reviews recently. When we arrived it was a little dated but that never bothered us. Got to the room and there was wear and tear to it. No cable for the tv. They had an internet/cable outage so couldn’t access either. Stayed one night, didn’t sleep well due to the freeway noise and toilet running every two minutes, and woke up in the morning to roaches infesting the bathroom. Unfortunately that was the last straw and we left early to book a stay elsewhere. The staff were friendly enough and understanding of the situation, and the manager has promised a refund (will wait and see). Front desk said they will be renovating next year; hopefully it includes pest control.
- 1/5
The entire property seemed poorly maintained, with hallways that smelled musty and carpets that were visibly stained. My key cards stopped working on multiple nights, and staff showed little concern or professionalism. One even blamed Disneyland’s metal detectors for the issue, though I never took my keys there. The shuttle driver to Disneyland drove recklessly, speeding and switching lanes erratically, which made me fear for my safety. Trying to contact management afterward was a nightmare — getting a response felt impossible, and my refund request was ultimately denied. Overall, this stay was unacceptable in every way. Poor cleanliness, unsafe conditions, and unhelpful staff made for an experience I wouldn’t wish on anyone. I would not stay here again.
- 3/5
Great area if you're visiting Disneyland. The building was ok if you just want to sleep in. It's definitely needs an upgrade, and most important is the wifi if you have kids, it never works with our phone. Staff and breakfast was great, no complain with that.
- 2/5
Rooms are old , musty, carpet is filthy/dirty and smells nasty as you enter the room. Ceilings are water damaged and cracked.

Very clean room. Staff are friendly hotel. and professional. They are also very understanding. My wife and I enjoyed our stay in this amazing hotel.
- 1/5
The smell in the rooms to mold it’s super bad the bath tub didn’t drain the carpets were super dirty never in my stay I had house keeping the keys didn’t work I had to stop by the office every time
- 1/5
The entire place is so so beyond run-down. Dirty dismal grounds and service to match. :( Our bathroom had black mold in the shower, towels were all stained, halls smell like cigarettes and dust. Spooky dark parking lot with discarded furniture and mattresses. Was too scared to even look at the free breakfast due to the hygiene of everything else. The worst part was that we were charged twice for our room. Once addressed with the front desk, was told we should get a refund within two weeks. Totally ruined or vacation budget :( stay awaaaay
- 5/5
Great value for a Disneyland trip. Loved the free shuttle and free self-parking. Disneyland now charges $40 for parking per day.
- 2/5
I a dint know if the staff could help. But the WiFi and breakfast options were really poor.
- 2/5
Overall we had a good time and it was a place to sleep. It was quiet and I think will be much better once renovated. Never really had any interactions with hotel staff but the ones we did were super nice.

- 2/5
They did not have rooms ready even though it was like 4pm when I triwdto check in and at some point I feel scared of the room wasn't going to be properly clean but it was clean, the breakfast was so stale you can tell everything was very low quality as far as non packaged food like the eggs, the toast, the bagels but I do like that the hotel offers a shuttle to Disneyland and from Disneyland back to the hotel even late at night that was a big thing in game changer for me. The room was very clean but the bits are too soft and the AC worked properly.
- 1/5
To be cleaned. Only did the last day we were there. Teenagers sleeping in the hallways many complaints from other guests as well. Was one of the worst stays I ever had.
- 4/5
Good
- 3/5
As we entered the room we got hit with this stench in the room, greasy bathroom floors, old linen on the beds and worn out towels that need replacement. We only soent one night there and decided to drive home because we couldn't bare to sleep another night in that room. I literally throw up with the stench in that room. Please check the reviews before booking. Owner or management will post a thank you response amd will assure you they'll look into it but this room was horrible!!

the rooms need refurbished
- 1/5
We walked in and the first “non-smoking” room assigned reeked of cigarette smoke. We were traveling with a 1 year old so had to request a room change. When we got to the second room, it was filthy, stained, still smelled like cigarettes, and the “ double queen” room was more like a double twin bed room. We immediately knew we could not stay here. Once we walked back downstairs to ask for a full refund, a person under the influence of some substance was roaming the lobby area. We were in and out of this MOTEL in less than an hour. Other families were also following suit and checking out before they even unloaded their belongings. For your safety, pay a little extra and choose a different hotel.
- 3/5
We stayed for a weekend trip to Disneyland. The shuttle was great with no other stops. The bagels and orange juice were the highlights for breakfast. Frozen waffles and no name cold cereal available. The staff was very nice and helpful, lobby area and grounds were nice safe and kept up. The elevator ran smoothly and the hotel was quiet. The rooms and hallways are old and need keeping and maintenance like new molding paint and carpet. The beds were comfortable and they brought us in a portable refrigerator for baby’s milk. A crib was available but you should notify of both requests in advance or asap. It is not walkable to Disney but as mentioned they have a shuttle. There are plenty of nearby restaurants shopping and fast food within a few blocks.
- 4/5
The rooms were clean but outdated- headboard and carpet worn. The air conditioner worked fine. There were a variety of breakfast items and the staff were very friendly. Overall, the stay was fine, it included shuttle service to and from Disneyland. The location was perfect- walking distance to restaurants and shopping centers.
- 5/5
Shuttle was not all day, so we decided to drive instead of using shuttle.
- 3/5
Room upgrades were done poorly. It’s like they didn’t want to hire quality painters or HVAC company. I was nervous about it being along the freeway but you really don’t hear it from inside the room. Complimentary breakfast was good & the check in ahead of time made it very convenient upon arrival.
- 1/5
I never ever should’ve paid for this room. They should’ve gave me my money back! This was a horrible stay.
- 3/5
Yes the thing that really got to me is getting text from at 8:09am about checking out repeated texts and then you have t cleaning ladies knocking on door at 9am again repeated knocks check out was done on my phone the first text i got from you 11 am i will be checking out no sleeping in i got and that was my plan even took the day off work to relax
- 2/5
The staff was all very friendly but the hotel itself didnt match the description. The ac didn't work and the window didn't close very well, the pictures showed a tub in the bathroom and it wasn't so it was very inconvenient for my kid. The shuttles didn't arrive at the designated time.
- 2/5
Needs to be updated
- 4/5
It was good place to stay. If you need service they don’t answer phone so you have to walk down to lobby. It was a really good stay other than that.
- 3/5
Only on Saturday and Sunday for the toasters I feel need to be replaced The breakfast needs to be better
- 2/5
The pictures online made the place look so much nicer than it actually was. In person, it was disappointing and felt dirty. I really appreciated how nice the staff was, but I wouldn’t stay here again.
- 1/5
This place had stains all over the floors. Druggies co stantly in and out and my key quit working everynight we came back from Disney. We though we booked the other Howard Johnson and after this we will never sray at another Howard Johnson. Also, they charged my card everyday vlose to $100 and said the charges will dall off like my deposit. Horrible place!!!
- 3/5
The room curtains could have been better maintained. The bath shower head needs replacement. The room paint needs to be better. Thanks!
- 2/5
The staff were amazing but the property, the rooms were in definite need of repair and fixing up.

Staff not friendly except for one male india , carpet stained, doors dirty, only thing must say was good the bed was comfortable.
- 2/5
Card keys is a nightmare, not working 90% of our stay. Staff and front desk not friendly. Anyways, You’ve got what u pay for.
- 3/5
This area is very calm and close to the park. However, I wish the hotel would undergo some remodeling, as it seems quite outdated. I stayed here in February 2023 and again from October 8-11, 2025, and it looked the same both times. The breakfast options were disappointing. I paid a lot of money to stay here, expecting a decent breakfast menu, but on October 9th, there were only scrambled eggs available, and I was told they no longer have a waffle maker.
- 3/5
Friendly staff. Good option if you are on a budget. Pro’s were the continental breakfast, free Disneyland shuttle and free laundry detergent from the front desk. Con’s were that is was a very dated room with cracks on the ceiling and bathroom floor, and our toilet had low water pressure so we had to constantly flush multiple times. We spent most of the day at the park, so we didn’t mind the appearance.
- 2/5
Very dirty, carpet were very dirty and old.
- 3/5
Lighting in the room was terrible, no central light just 3 lamps. Room smelt bad like something had been wet. We needed our room keycard replaced twice in our 4 night stay. It was nice to have breakfast each day .
- 2/5
I would say the only one thing was the shuttle to go to Disney park. Not coming back there. Breakfast was ok but really limited. I had been in Motels cleaner than this hotel
- 3/5
I wish a fridge would have been in room. Night staff at front desk( one guy was really FULL of himself). Two nights in a row our keys wouldn’t work— this male night clerk wouldn’t re key our key until I wrote a letter as to what was happening!!! Lots of people checking in but I had two grandchildren sleeping in hall and he didn’t care. He was busy BUT persons checking in let us go ahead of them.
- 2/5
There was a roach in our room I can prove the video
- 1/5
well during the night when i was sleeping i must have hit the headboard because some how it fell off the wall and hit me in the head. it was very heavy and left a bump on my head. this is the headboard that fell on my head. i was in line for about 30 minutes with only one person ahead of me so i can explain to the staff what had happened, well my head was pounding from the blow to my head and i was running late so i left to work and by the time i was out of work my checkout time had passed so i never had a chance to address the problem .
- 1/5
I walked into a dirty motel. The lobby wasnt even vacuumed. When i got on the elevator there was what appeared to be feces on the ground. When i walked it the room it smelled like mold and air freshener. There were holes and scuffs on the wall everywhere, moisture on the windows and mold on the windows and molding. Blood stains om the carpet, nothing was clean there was dirt and grime everywhere on the headboard. It was disgusting. I immediately started having asthma problems and i went downstairs to the lobby to check out. I was refused a refund even though i stayed 5 minutes and could not physically stay here for health reasons.

Nice staff. Everything was great
- 3/5
This is a very old outdated location. The food was ok but it offered no protein with the eggs and the waffles appeared to be thawed frozen waffles. The hot water in our room took very long to get to hot and the black out curtain only closed on one side. The day we arrived my 11 year old clogged the toilet and unfortunately they had no one available in maintenence that could help or a plugger available to do it ourselves. Thankfully the receptionist was smart on her feet and just switched us rooms. In my daughters room her alarm kept ringging as did the phone with no one on the other end.
- 3/5
Bathroom in poor shape. Shower curtain rod ready to fall off. Could not close shower curtain. Black mold or mildew around toilet. Card key kept failing.
- 3/5
Staff were perfectly friendly. Breakfast left so much to be desired that we walked across the street and spent money on breakfast. This hotel was probably a great place to stay 20-25 years ago. It’s very apparent the owners have not kept up with repairs and the rooms do not meet the expectations shown in the property photos. I can only speak for our room as I did not see all of the rooms. The carpet is very old and dingy looking. There were holes in the carpeting. The bathroom was dated and the counter had cracks in it. The TV was not easy to operate. Very limited number of plugs to charge phones and other electronics. The desk chair was ripped. The drapes too short. The AC unit, while cold, was very noisy. The bed was okay, the linens thin. The closet door was missing. No fridge in the room. The cleaning staff did check on us daily and offered fresh towels. The water from the shower felt like warm but was warm enough not to freeze. The bathroom door had peeled areas in the paint and the walls needed repairs and a new paint job. Our room was clean, linens clean, bathroom clean. I will say that and the carpet was miraculously odor free. Our expectations were poorly managed by the photos online. We saw there is a shuttle that runs to Disneyland frequently in the morning and evening.

The elevator ride was just as bad — I came across a huge roach inside. The staff told us they couldn’t move us to another room because they were fully booked, which I understood, but it left us with no choice but to cancel the remaining nights and find another hotel. I’ve stayed in many places, and this was one of the worst experiences. For the price we paid, the lack of cleanliness and maintenance is completely unacceptable.

Breakfast was probably the best part about this entire hotel. Right on the edge of the freeway I hope you enjoy sleeping next to noisy cars

I would not stay here again. 0/10 it was dirty, our tv did not work, there was dog poop in the hallway. I had booked 2 days at this hotel back to back and had to return to the hotel to “recheck in” after I had arrived at the theme park. Not very convenient. The stairwell smelled like cigarettes the breakfast was okay had a nice variety of bagels, waffles oatmeal coffee hot chocolate eggs apple juice and orange juice. Just not very welcoming & it was 15 mins from Disneyland they do have a shuttle just make sure you pay attention to the time while you are at the theme parks.

The room keys often malfunctioned — I had to go back to the front desk twice during a 5-day stay to get them reactivated. Breakfast is extremely basic, with limited options. Also, Alyssa at the front desk could really benefit from offering a smile or a more welcoming attitude to guests. A little friendliness goes a long way. Overall, this hotel might work if you’re looking for something very basic, but the service, guest experience, and transparency around charges need serious improvement.

The pictures to this hotel are absolutely nothing like the state it is currently in. Carpet ripped up, walls with holes in tears all over, stains throughout, and horrible musky smoky smells in both the rooms we were in. I say both rooms because the initial room that we were in had a sink that had what looked like sewage coming out of it and had flooded the sink. Pictures are down below. we were moved to a suite, and the suite was in the same state as the rest of the hotel. This time our sink was not flooded, but the tub would drain extremely slowly and so would fill up with water when you shower. The breakfast seemed fine. Pretty basic with the typical pile of scrambled eggs, breads, and cereal. The shuttle was strange. The shuttle only drops people off every 45 minutes or so up until around 10:30 AM. They then begin their services again at 8 PM. If you’re planning on going early and then leaving at around 5 PM like we did this meant paying for a Uber on the way back. The staff when they were able to help were actually quite pleasant and nice. They are obviously understaffed, and I blame this whole experience truly on the hotel owner and manager. We only made it three out of the five nights we were supposed to stay.

It was satisfactory

Hotel was very clean outside as well as inside. Front counter worker was so amazing, very friendly and made you feel comfortable and answered all questions we had. Rooms were clean nothing special about them. The beds were comfortable but the pillows were very bulky and made it uncomfortable to sleep on them. But that's a preference we like our pillows in the middle, not to bulky and not to thin. Breakfast was pretty dang good. We were impressed for sure. Although we didn't stay to use the free shuttle to Disneyland, but we will definitely stay at this hotel when we do plan on going to Disney. You can have breakfast before and save money on parking.

The breakfast are very nice

Room smelled really weird. Breakfast was nothing fancy very sad. Front desk was a little rude but for the price I got what I paid for I would stay again.
- 5/5
The Staff was very nice and fast, checked us in right away. . Nice neighborhood close to good restaurants . There was no microwave, no phone and no fridge. The freeway is close and you can hear all the traffic, but I slept so good for the three nights... The shuttle ride to Disney was great, coffee was perfect and breakfast was wonderful. I would definitely stay here again 😌. I liked the Galaxy gift shop inside as well .

Unfortunately the rooms where not so great condition rooms had bad carpet and the bed sheets and pillows were not so clean I ask for clean sheets and pillows but the front lobby said they can only give clean baths towels for the price they charge the hotel definitely needs a remodel and they also charge a $100 deposit when you check in I was not happy about that either . There definitely better hotels around the area for Disney land for the family

We walked in and walked directly out. This place is a no go if you have kids with asthma do not stay here. Extremely humid and smells like mold there was water saturations through the ceiling. The first thing we seen when we walked in was throw up on the wall. The paint was peeling. It was just not somewhere. I would have my kids staying. We walked out right away requested to check out. The lady said she would check us out, but she would not give me any form of paperwork. She was nice but she said she couldn’t give us anything to show that we checked right back out within five minutes I am still waiting for them to process a refund and I keep getting the runaround that the manager is not there and they can’t do anything. The two ladies I speak to are nice but they’re not getting anything done or at least the manager isn’t.
- 2/5
The check in process took over 30 mins. There was one guy and he was agonizingly slow. People were getting very upset. The carpet in the halls in threadbare. The shower curtain did not reach the top of the tub and the floor was soaking wet.

We only had issues with needing the room key reactivated every night.

Bath water was luke warm, dirty carpets and lumpy pillows

We called a couple of days before our stay to confirm we would have a mini fridge and microwave in our room. We were told to call the morning of our check in to make the request. We called in the morning and we were told that we were not able to make that request until guests have checked out and to call later in the day. We called later that day and we were told that a note would be left for room service to fulfill our request. When we checked, we did not have the micro wave and mini fridge in our room. I spoke with the lady at the front desk and she said they don’t have anything available. I told her about my previous communication but was told “I wasn’t here when you made the request so I don’t know anything about it.” . Very RUDE. She then made a notation on a note pad with my request. I also added a request for one more suitcase rack. After 4 requests, we never received the microwave, the fridge nor the rack. The room phone didn’t work and the room keys had to be reset 2 time during our stay. I saw numerous guests getting their keys rest throughout our stay. Very inconvenient. We will never stay here again. It was very rubbed down, dingy, dirty and uncomfortable. We’re will spend more for better service and a better stay. DO NOT STAY HERE!!!!!

From the moment we stepped inside, it felt like we’d wandered onto the set of a low-budget horror movie called “Why Are We Here?” The walls were painted in every shade of “absolutely not”, patched like someone lost a fight with a spackle bucket. Water damage whispered from the ceiling, the lighting was perfect for vampires, the carpet was ripped and sad, and the whole vibe screamed “hourly rate special.” (If you know, you know.) We called multiple times prior to our arrival to confirm adjoining rooms the main reason we booked. After days of “call back later,” we arrived only to hear, “Nope, nothing available.” Apparently, customer service here is as real as Bigfoot or a clean corner in this building. And let’s talk “amenities.” No fridge. Not even a sad mini one. If you brought anything that needed to stay cold… good luck. Honestly, I wouldn’t be shocked if the roaches claimed it first. The walls were so thin I could hear a cockroach filing a noise complaint. By minute 30, I was on a first-name basis with him. He probably gets better service than paying guests. 🚨 DO NOT STAY HERE. 🚨 Unless you’re into peeling paint, vampire lighting, ripped carpet, zero fridge, and a chatty roach roommate then congrats, you’ve found your paradise. I'm not joking. I wish I wasn't so focused on getting the hell outta there or else i have pictures. Go look for yourself. I warned you.

If you are trying to get sleep before a long day. Do not book. The hotel is sooo old nothing has been updated. My window wouldn’t close and you can hear everything from the highway.
- 3/5
Cons- The property is dated, walls are paper thin and if the rooms next to you are booked, you will not get good sleep. I was either getting woken up by the room next door, hallway noise, or barking dogs outside.

Not really

Love the transportation to and from Disneyland, it was super convenient. I love the location as well as it is surrounded by grocery stores, clothing shops, and restaurants.

Definitely need an upgrade. Outside pretty dirty, trash everywhere

Great place for a Disney visit

Room was grimey in a lot of the touch spots. Staff were poorly trained or mostly didn't care Poor value for money Hotel needs a refit. Had to change rooms due to cold shower and issues with the WiFi. Hot shower in new room but broken TV. I gave up trying.

That should not be the case, especially when trying to get some sleep.

Carpet was very dirty , curtains old And dirty , nees remodeling and better management

This hotel is a budget hotel if you are on a tight budget i do recommend this. If you have money to spare i don't recommend it. Overall our stay was smooth we're just there to sleep for 4 nights & gone for the whole day.

It was an over all great experience for my family of 3

I will never be staying here again. I booked a non smoking room but the moment I walked in I could smell nothing but smoke and a stinky humid smell. Beds are so uncomfortable

Great location, rooms and hallways need some updating. Staff was great, did not have a chance to interact much, but the times I did they were pleasant.

Fair price

Hotel was run down. Housekeeping never cleaned coffee pot or replenished coffee. Room was very dusty. Also, shuttle driver grabbed my 11 year old daughter by the arm which I thought was highly inappropriate. Not aggressive, he was trying to get her attention but she has severe anxiety and there was no need for it.
- 2/5
The rooms were average and dated. We had roaches in our room.

I’ve stayed at this property many times, the staff is always incredible. Chase was especially kind as well as the Disney shuttle drivers. I always enjoy the complimentary shuttle and breakfast. You really can’t beat the price for a room. Parking is easy. The rooms are generally pretty clean, a little dated but fine enough. Two complaints I have from this stay: windows didn’t seem to be sealed well so you can hear outside as if it’s open and the water was not very hot. It may have just been our room as I haven’t noticed that before. I will be staying again.
- 2/5
Front desk staff was amazing, very friendly. Free breakfast was good. Condition of hotel wasn’t great, its dingy, carpets were visibly dirty, walls needed a bad cleaning and paint touch up. Worst part of the stay was in the morning, 9:30am, we hear our door open, the cleaning crew just walked right in. I hadn’t even checked out yet.

Front desK staff was welcoming & friendly. Easy check in & check out.

The actual room did NOT look like the pictures online. Although it looks like the bed was wrll made. It was old and dingy. Lighting was dull. The room had molds around the bathroom door. Carpet in the room was brown, carpet in the hallway all had map stains. Elevator smelled of mold and metal. The baseboards and the walls had dirt and chipped paint all over. The front desk seemed renovated, but as soon as you get to the hallway it looked like scene from The Shining. I guess i got what i paid for. Motel 6 is sounding better. I'm sorry but this hotel needs to be renovated.
- 3/5
The location was nice but inside the rooms it’s just old and outdated. The doors are peeling paint. The walls are peeling paint.

Worst first experience ever at a Howard Johnson. Staff were uncooperative, rude, unhelpful, and inconsiderate. Definitely not a family friendly day. Will never be booking with them. Only thing I needed from them was for the remote to be programmed to the TV and I didn’t get no help whatsoever and the coffee pot machine had mold, so the cleanliness is not a five star at all. I was just requesting a partial refund and not a full refund for this stay, but that was denied due to the fact that I did stay. Of course, I am going to stay instead of leaving in the night with three kids, even though I had just checked in. Possibly within one hour all this happened. It was too late for me to find somewhere else to stay due to the fact that prices were already high at that time, so yes, I did stay, especially traveling from San Diego with three kids.

The reception staff was very helpful and friendly.

The room was clean however the hotel itself is older and a bit rundown. It would be an amazing beautiful hotel with. Wet large pool and patio area if they do some basic updates like new paint and carpet.
- 3/5
There was a strange substance dripped on the floor of our room too. Don't want to know honestly. But other than the floor, the room was clean. We ran out of TP and had housekeeping come in one day and they didn't replace any of it but straightened up the towels and made the bed. We got some from the front desk on our own. Every time we came back to the room one or both of our key cards was deactivated. We got to the point where we would come back from our day and just went to the front desk to get new keys. We replaced one or both of our keys 8 times in the 3 days we were there. The staff was super friendly and helpful. The staff is for sure the highlight of this property. The shuttle to Disneyland is a great help too. But on weekdays the last one comes 15 min before the park closes so that was a little annoying for those of us that wanted to stay the whole day. We stayed here because it was what our kids could afford but next time we may help them out a little to upgrade to a bit nicer place.

It was calm and cozy but the freeway is right next to it so it was quite loud. Other than that it was great!

Pictures looked clean but the rooms were pretty old. The floors looked dirty. I just needed a play to sleep but it was not ideal.

I would love to see an upgrade and modernization in the rooms. The rooms will need some better tlc compared to other hotels I’ve stayed at. The shower curtain is used and worn out. The paint in the bedroom needs another coat. The tv in our room was not working therefore we couldn’t connect our Apple TV. A ton of issues overall with our visit. The beds were not the best for comfort. We did not get the best adequate sleep. The pillows also need to be thrown out and replaced. We booked this hotel last minute and typically use Expedia recommended ones but this one was below par. I don’t plan to come back in the future.

The Disneyland shuttle can save you $35 in parking and leaves early and several times a day.

Unhappy overall. Especially the service from staff member Alyssa. Very rude and combative.
