Plaza Hotel Gardena

I had the manager change the bedsheets 4x because none of the bedsheets were pure white. They had cigarette burns, a big fluid stain, dried blood and shoe prints. No AC, I was told to keep windows open, ARE YOU FRICKIN KIDDING ME? I still was charged a 20 dollar deposit!!! I had to drive back to Las Vegas the same night, didn't want to have bedbugs riding home with me. PLEASE DROP THIS BUSINESS OFF YOUR ROSTER!!!

1. No parking. 2. Shared toilet and shower. 3. No air conditioning. 4. Dirty bedding. and they charge 60+ dollars per night for all of this !!!

No ac no hot water no good pillows the tv didn't work I wouldn't have stayed unless I already paid and had nonetheless choice plus my phone ended up coming up missing and I left it in tge bedroom and left briefly and was the only one I knew of with a key

Not a safe location the staff is very terrible no parking when I pulled up there was a gang out there fighting in front of the location then when the manager pulled up he seen it but didn't want to give me back my whole deposit because I didn't feel safe so he took partial of it knowing he getting Rivals out there fighting and I was scared to be there at that location all he cared about was the money and so he kept half of my deposit really not have he kept most of the majority of it and gave me some but it's not a safe location

It’s a cool and quiet place to stay as a couple or by yourself parking is pretty nice as well it’s a few places that you can go out to eat at as well that’s not to far from the hotel me and my husband enjoyed our stay and probably will be coming back soon

Curtains were blood stained, hand print on door with blood. They kept my deposit. I would avoid.

This place being offered by Hotels.com is ridiculous to say the least. Extremely wore down building. The water is contaminated it says right when you walk in. They do not have clean sheets when you ask for new ones they will not give you any they say “they all look like that”. Then the locals who live there are so dirty and inconsiderate. A fight broke out between the tenants a gun was pulled and the hotel refused to call police. The tenant actually told them to go back to their room. Yes the tenant with a weapon told the hotel workers what to do. Hotels.com needs to do do secret vacations just like secret shoppers and really see what type of hotels they are offering online cause people getting situations where they can’t afford to move to a new hotel. It was so hard for hotels.com to help me and my kids to get help with a new room the customer service was completely awful the last supervisor I spoke with actually understood entirely it took about 5 calls and being treated awful just to get help. I was very disappointed in hotels.com.

Parking was tough to find. Hotel don’t provide parking. At 1am, I parked my car around three to four blocks away.

The grossest place i have ever been! This place needs to be shut down. The towels, sheets, and pillows were gross and dirty! Bugs all over! We slept in our clothes, over the bedding and no pillows. If Expedia has any respect for themselves they'll take this place off their website. Someone owes me for staying here. We looked desperately for other hotels close by, but it was too late.

No air-condition, only broken fan. No shampoo. Window is not closing. Mold everywhere.

I’m a female solo traveler and felt safe here. I was able to sleep comfortably and not worry about using the communal restroom/ shower. The whole place is clean and bug free! Everyone is respectful. I would stay here again.

I hate their policy. They don’t have the sympathy or understanding they sometimes customer make mistakes by renting a place that is 45 minutes away from their destination. As soon as you call them to cancel, they took half of that percentage from your card. From my experience this is the first hotel that would charge your card right away whole other hotels, they won’t charge you until you check in. Never ever rent this place. Hm

Poor amenities and cleanliness. Tried to scam me for paying $50 to switch to a room with a private bathroom when online it was only $10 more. Terrible. Do not stay here period .

It was very clean and the beds were comfortable. That there was a hidden cost outside of the booking.com value of having a personal bathroom inside the room for an extra 15.00 along with the 10.00 refundable charge for any damage or late check out fee. The total of 61.20 and the other costs cost me 86.20 for 1 night and I used the shower once.

Do not listen to any of these good reviews. I never rate hotels I stay at but had to for this one. Very dirty room with a bit of mold. Stained sheets, stained towels. You have to pay extra for a private bathroom (Which is also dirty). Noo A/C it was just a fan in the room. Walls are paper thin heard yelling and screaming as early as 6am. Stay away

This was a fraud of sorts.The hotel shown in the picture is not the same place I reserved online, paid, and stayed. The "dump" that was switched from the hotel in picture to dump located 825 W. Gardena was just that - a dirty dump. It was dirty, Dirty filthy RR down the hall was filthy. I req'd NO Smoking and there was strong smoke odor, Dirty sheets w hair and stains. No Closet or AC as was lied about. The used picture in this feedback in order to get ppl to stay bc if they had shown their true dump, no decent person(s) wld have paid anywhere near what was charged. I AM REQUESTING A REFUND. I would NOT have knowingly paid to rent such dirty dump. THIS WAS DECEPTION. The place I stayed is not the same as picture shown in this review. I previously stayed at hotel shown in picture and had no complaints as it was a decent hotel- this place was far from decent. I have pictures.

I liked the room I upgraded to stay in. You get what you pay for. What I didn’t like is that the office clerk tried to RIP me off and give me back a $20 deposit when I had left $40. After a while of reminding him of the amount that was left, he gave me my missing $20. That really rubbed me the wrong way.

Not clean. Everything was dirty. Zero window screens on the second floor. Roaches. Bed linen dirty. I didn’t even get under the sheet. I threw my person blanket on time of the covers. Man tried to finesse me for an extra $20 in case talking about “security deposit” and didn’t give me a receipt and then got an attitude when I said I’m taking a picture of the transaction. So yeah I would rather sleep in my car.

If not for the police being onsite trying to get someone who locked themselves in the bathroom for nearly 2 hours at midnight, but also another patron was arguing with management about them holding onto her property? The sink didnt drain, the fridge was room temperature. The worst single night in any motel Ive ever experienced. If the guy who checked me in seemed even coherent I may have complained, instead I will just never go there again.

I didn't like how the lady with the red dot in the middle of her forehead that comes in nothe morning assume that I was smoking in my room. I had a private room it didn't say non smoking or smoking room she made me really uncomfortable I check out because thats not rite she really gives me a hard time when ever I come and the deposit need to be put in the taxes and fees or aware when u booking it's not included into u show up which I dont understand

I seen black bugs in bed!!! I DON'T DO BUGS! SMH... I WAS FULLY DRESSED IN BED. Thank goodness I was just there for some hours. Other than that. I would've been checking out.

This motel should not be in operations due to extreme filth. I had an emergency and did a midnight checking in and had no other alternative. The bedding was stained with filth and no sheets to compliment the comforter. With a congested street parking only add to the severity of this place. DO NOT STAY AT THIS LOCATION FOR SAFETY REASONS.

The ac went out, the parking was terrible, not the best neighborhood but it was pretty cheap so thats what i get. It was a hot weekend and maybe they turn the ac off at night. If the ac was on i wouldve gave 4 stars.

Muy mal, muchos de los cuartos no tienen baños ni regadera para bañarse , y si quieres usar el baño o bañarse tienes que usar el de afuera.. es como un baño público en el pasillo, y si quieres un cuarto con baño y regadera tienes que pagar un extra, $$. Hay cucarachas, y no tienen aire acondicionado. Es un ventilador, y la sábana s manchadas, y la sanada parecía que era una de las cortinas 😠

Its a very convenient location to stay, very affordable and easy access to basics items if needed.

Everything was so bad I didn’t even sleep there it was too damn hot and small as hell don’t book here I had to get a different hotel that same day cus this one was disappointing

It was horrible! After we arrived and got in the room gun fire started for few minutes. All the surroundings are scary. People were smoking pots. You can smell it all around. Whole look were dangerous. Hotel did not have any parking. Room was very small. It was smaller than a Prison Cell. I worked in the prison. I know. There were no A/C in the room. Not even a fan. The service was not great. I was expecting something completely different. They have a community rest room and shower.

Let's see, to begin with the hotel/motel wasn't worth the money they asked for at all. Secondly, they said that it was heated room and that's a lie, I had sleep in my clothes to stay warm. No microwave in the room it's left out in the hallway for people to cook raw meat in it, the one and only bathroom if it's occupied you're just outta luck. Management was very rude and I had to argue with them about putting me in a room that didn't have a broken smoke detector. Leaving my car outside had me worried because of the area and anyone off the street could come inside, because the door lock was taped down so it wouldn't lock. Nothing good about this place and I could have gotten my money back and went somewhere else.

If someone decided to take a shower in the men's bathroom that toilet is located on the inside of that shower unit so once they close the door to that shower unit nobody in the hotel who was the male can use the restroom until whoever's in that shower comes out. this place is beyond horrible it's not even a real hotel it's literally rooms that they installed a sink into and a television in and a bed no air conditioning or heater unit whatsoever and these people really have the nerve to charge for regular Hotel prices and on top of that I do not care what language you speak but the fact of the matter I was speaking English to the people and everybody behind the counter acted like they did not understand English like this place is horrible. I had to constantly come outside to check on my car because there was a bunch of homeless people fighting in the streets all night I should have known what I was getting into when I showed up to the type of area plus this hotel offers no refunds I wonder why

The bed was hard, however, I was able to get rest as I needed. It was located pretty close to where I needed to work, so it was functional enough for me. The lack of parking was an issue, but I was able to work around it. Although there was no room service per se, I was able to get what I needed from the front desk. The room was small, but usable for my purpose. Security was important, so one had to be buzzed in to the building. For the price, it served my purpose enough. It was clean for sure.m
