- Cleanliness
- Comfortable beds
- Outdated facilities
- Pest issues
- 4/5
Breakfast was 'grab and go'... coffee, juice, bagel, mini muffins, toast, yogurt... two cereal options. Nothing special, but then again... we were not expecting a full on buffet.
- 2/5
Nothing like the pictures online. Poor effort to make an old motel up to date. Do not recommend.
- 5/5
The staff was super friendly and we had a great stay! The place was clean and comfortable, the AC unit kept our room cool, and the breakfast was great to have before heading out for the day. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it!
- 5/5
Exactly what we need. A clean safe place to sleep. This place was perfect and the price was right. The staff at the front desk is top notch!
- 5/5
The room was very nice ! Clean and with a mountain view - be sure to get room with the view - very inexpensive and in convenient location. Parking was very easy and available. Staff was very helpful ! I will go back !
- 4/5
Property is a little rundown and older, but a decent place for a night
- 1.5/5
Location was only thing good about this property, would never stay here again. Pay a little more to be at a neighboring property… for example Hanging Lake in next-door is 1 million times better/nicer No one at check-in desk at 5 PM. Rang bell and waited literally 15 minutes. Property is falling down, old, and dirty. Everything is literally original to probably late eighties/early 90s. Rooms are teeny tiny, no closet or anywhere to hang even a towel, tiny bathroom, barely enough room to walk around the two queen beds. Mattresses are lumpy and saggy as are the pillows. The linens, and towels, so thread-bear they’re basically see-through.
- 4/5
No frills, but room was clean and safe. Breakfast was basic and nice. No complaints!
- 4/5
When the power did come back on, our room had lights but no outlets working, the staff made this a priority to resolve...which they did!
- 4/5
Parking was convinient. There was space in front and back of the building.
- 2/5
There were little gnats or fruit flies, we couldn’t determine which, the toilet ran all night. We couldn’t turn the light on because the bugs were attracted to the light. The bugs were also on the sheets. Also, fire pit was out.
- 5/5
Parking was easy. Staff were nice and welcoming. Views were great for the price! Would stay again in the near future.
- 4/5
comfortable bed, clean room.
- 2/5
Yes fresh but not good enough.
- 3/5
The cons: The property was poorly lit at night and the side entry door was always propped open. There was always a smell (sometimes very strong onion, other times cooking shrimp). The faucet in the bathroom as well as the shower dripped constantly. Breakfast is very small and the coffee was terrible.
- 1/5
No hot water. Very dirty. This place is so run down. Didn’t have the room available that was reserved.
- 5/5
Good price
- 1/5
No words can describe how awful this experience was.
- 5/5
Comfortable bed and quiet. Was a great, budget-friendly place to stay while visiting hot springs.
- 5/5
Buena
- 2/5
Parking is very tight if you have a truck. There is no heat and no extra blankets. Staff isn't very knowledgeable about anything other checking in. It's a good place if you just need a roof over your head and a bed. Also lock your car, there's people hanging out/sleeping in cars in their parking lot.
- 0.5/5
Had a good view of the mountains Coming in the property was unkept and trash everywhere. checking in all of three rooms we booked and it was like the landlord special. Stain beds and chairs, tv was broken (all three), they needed new light bulbs in some areas, the floors were sticky in two rooms. I showed the front desk he just didn’t want to fix the problem we just got a shrug and he said sorry and left. I asked for clean sheets but he didn’t want to give us any. Then the next day we went out and they go into your rooms (I have a baby monitor in my room). They did take the trash out of all our rooms but somehow I can’t find my earrings interesting. I had them in the bathroom with my toiletries there was no camera there so they could’ve taken it. I gave them the benefit of the doubt the earrings were cheap anyways. One of the rooms started to have ants coming in the room and the front desk (new guy) offed to spray in there but we have kids and didn’t want chemicals in there. So he got us a new room so we appreciated that. They didn’t tell us they were painting the rooms around us and they were using paint thinner which gave off a strong smell and like we said before we have littles. Also it’s illegal in the state of Colorado to renovate around other booked rooms and they have to shut down that floor. We left and went to a different hotel. That was cheaper and better.
- 1/5
It was dirty and they were cooking food in break room and the whole property stunk like the food all weekend. Windows faced a brick wall!!
- 4/5
Very friendly staff. Clean, simple and pet friendly.
- 1/5
The beds seemed to be clean, but that was the only part of the room that was. The showers were moldy, and the curtain rod was loosely held to the wall with three drywall screws. There was clear water damage in the ceiling. One of the towels provided by the hotel had yellow and black stains. The mini fridge had what I assume was melted ice cream all throughout. Just generally gross.
- 3/5
Glenwood caverns and adventure park is only minutes away as is towndown glenwood.
- 1/5
Bed was comfortable but room was dirty. Toilet was not secured firmly to the floor. Charged $30 per pet per night.
- 5/5
Air-condition didn't stay on.
- 2.5/5
The bed was comfortable. I enjoyed the continental breakfast. The clerk was nice. The bathroom wasn’t completely cleaned and there were ants in the room. Internet and cable tv was intermittent.
- 3.5/5
better breakfast
- 5/5
The accommodations were, clean, organized and very comfortable. The location was easy to drive to and the staff was professional and friendly. Definitely will stay here again.
- 5/5
Great!
- 4/5
The motel was clean and basic. Everything worked.
- 4/5
I liked that the property accepted pets (for an additional fee). We were first put in a room that was not great, to be honest. It smelled bad and a lot of the lighting fixtures didn’t work. There was also paint on the furniture and curtains. The gentleman at the front desk listened to my concerns and immediately moved us into a much better room. We only stayed one night, but for the price, it was a decent choice.
- 4.5/5
Cleanliness Nothing
- 3/5
Pet friendly but there is no where really to take your dog to go to the bathroom. They had recently painted somewhere on the property and it was so strong in my room I had a consistent headache and couldn't open a window. Its fine for the price and a quick night.
- 4/5
Considering the location, the price is good. Though many things like microwave, some lights etc were not working.
- 2/5
Bathroom sink didn't work properly. Curtains didn't close. Dog was barking all night long. Long hair in the tub.
- 2.5/5
Price Not very clean
- 2.5/5
The free breakfast was nice! It was overall okay for the price. I don't like people entering my room when im not there, so I had a do not disturb sign on my door while I was gone for the day. However, housekeeping still entered my room and cleaned and moved around some of my stuff which was annoying. Please mention to your staff what a do NOT disturb sign means: aka DO NOT ENTER!!!
- 1/5
The whole building was filthy, front dest peron could baely speak english. The supposed breakfast was a joke.
- 1/5
We chose this hotel for the price, and it’s safe to say you absolutely get what you pay for here. From the moment we walked in, the room smelled of harsh chemical cleaning products. The garbage cans were overflowing on arrival. The room itself had multiple problems. The toilet randomly made noises throughout the night. The refrigerator emitted a high-pitched hum. The blinds didn’t fully cover the windows, so outside light came in around the edges all night. Being on the basement level meant headlights from arriving cars also shone directly into our room after we went to sleep. We were placed in the basement, which we later found out is the pet section, despite repeatedly telling them we don’t have pets. The noise from dogs throughout the night was an added frustration. The worst part: we discovered a trail of ants along the wall. When we brought it to the staff’s attention, the response was essentially a shrug. We were told they could spray, but that would mean sleeping in toxic chemicals all night. They were completely booked, so moving rooms wasn’t an option. We worked with them to see if the would make it right. But they didn’t. They didn’t offer a refund or anything at all. This staff has zero hospitality. Definitely a one-and-done for us. If you’re looking for a comparable price point in Glenwood Spgs, we’d suggest trying Silver Spruce Inn or Hanging Lake Inn instead
- 2/5
Property was outdated, didn't appear clean in the common areas, and check-in experience led to our first room having a bathtub faucet running (not dripping) that needed immediate repair. Worked in a pinch, but I'll look elsewhere in Glenwood Springs.
- 4/5
The hotel is decent for the price. There was absolutely no issues to complain about.
- 3/5
Outdated, not clean, loud
- 3/5
This place was ok. Best part was the price. Room was clean, newly painted. Floors were clean and bed was comfortable. Breakfast was very limited and they had the doors wide open each morning in the breakfast area- too cold to sit and enjoy food. Ice machine was broken. Towels in room were old and stained.
- 4/5
Staff is excellent. Cheap hotel with comfortable beds.
- 5/5
If you find something to complain about at this location, it has to be an act. Complaining does not make you a connoisseur. This place was great.
- 3/5
We stayed a couple of nights and it was nice. Employees are very friendly but property could use some love. For a price it is still fair to stay here.
- 2/5
Microwave was broken, ac was broken, remote didn’t work for the tv & there were absolutely no outlets to charge anything
- 1/5
To experience for a vey low class
- 1/5
I had stayed there once before and it was fine. Basic, but fine. This time was another story. The room smelled like turpentine when we arrived. It was eye-watering, so we turned on the bathroom fan all night, which competed with the heater for ‘most-like-a-machine-gun’ sound. The towels had stains (blood? makeup?) and the bathroom walls had the same stains. Clogged sink: check. Filthy, stained tub: check. Late night visit by the police to a noisy neighboring room: check. Several lights did not work; one had no on/off switch, so we had to unscrew the bulb. The TV never did work- no signal. It was kind of like a cliche of ‘cheap and rundown motel’. You get what you pay for, and we got it.
- 3/5
Glenwood is a very expensive town and this place is decent enough to stay a night and doesn’t cost a crazy amount compared to other properties in the area. Nothing fancy or memorable but they do have some extras in the room like a fridge and microwave.
- 4/5
Location, price , great staff!
- 4/5
Old property but was remodeled and clean. Complimentary breakfast had variety. Parking is close walk to the entrance. Bed was comfortable- slept for 9 hours without waking up.
- 4/5
ok
- 5/5
Great
- 1.5/5
There was a very bright light shining right into my window so it wasn’t dark and the ac didn’t work
- 3/5
Room was clean, beds comfortable, and staff friendly. The bath tub needed replaced, and there was no hot water it only got like warm.
- 4/5
very nice
- 5/5
Yes, very courteous.
- 4/5
What stood out most is that the owner of the property was very hands-on and made sure that the room was clean before we got in it. Once we got in it though there’s a lot of sloppy paint that was just all over the place in the curtains, on the floor in the bathroom. It needs to be freshened up. The beds were comfortable and everything else worked and recommend definitely for a budget priced place to stay.
- 1/5
Someone knocked on my door after midnight- which made me feel super unsafe. Would not recommend.
- 0.5/5
Horrible experience. It was dirty. It was not clean. I asked to switch rooms went to another room that had rat poop on the beds. I couldn't even sleep in there. So I requested a refund found out my refund. It's going to take 17 days. I couldn't even get a room anywhere else.I had to sleep in my car.My whole trip I didn't like anything at all. It was a really dirty place. Nothing worked there, walking in. I didn't even feel safe in any way. I wasn't going to leave any of my stuff. Anywhere just finding the rat poop on the bed on the pillows it was just a horrible experience. That place should not be opened in any way at all
- 1/5
The area was nice Dirty , broken, holes in the walls Frames were coming off , lights didn’t work
- 4/5
Staff was courteous, room was nice except for squeeky beds.
- 1/5
Horrible stay , uncomfortable party’s in the room Nextdoor no elevator for my disabled mother
- 3/5
Location Inside our room had sloppy paint all over everything
- 0.5/5
Close to Iron Maiden. Room wasn’t clean. Heard guests all night in the hallway.
- 3/5
The room was clean and the staff was friendly. Excellent price. The bed was very, very, very hard.
- 2/5
Terrible charge
- 3/5
Staff was nice and quiet most of the time in the room. Needed some deep cleaning and minor updates. Was a good cost.
- 5/5
The staff made the stay excellent. The staff also made this an excellent value for the money.
- 4/5
Nice room for the price
- 0.5/5
Yes my room did not have heat and it was so cold in there and they would not do anything.... Nothing at all no partial refund or ask me if I wanted a different room not even we're sorry that happened.
- 2/5
Bed sheets were super dirty and had to put on a new set ourselves. Dirty overall as well. Shower did not have how water one of the days and nights we were there. Definitely get what you pay for here.
- 4/5
Friendly hospitality
- 5/5
They guys at the desk are awesome. If you’re looking for a room at a low price, this is the place. Seeing people complain about it because it’s not like a 5 star hotel is wrong. They don’t advertise it that way.
- 1/5
The only good thing was the location. Breakfast was lack luster and underwhelming. The room was not clean or good in any manner. The shower constantly leaked the doors were not sturdy or secure. The lamps and lights were impossible to operate then check out was a pain because nobody was at the desk and they won’t do any returns
- 0.5/5
Filthy, no breakfast. Building should be torn down.
- 1/5
Beds where hard as a rock left at 6 am before check out
- 1/5
Nothing in the room worked there were 4 different remotes which didn’t turn on either tv the blinds wouldn’t go all the way down so their was so much light coming in and half the lights didn’t work there was marker marks on the sheets. We ended up checking out soon after we checked in.
- 4/5
The room was a dirty
- 5/5
Good view
- 2/5
No charging outlets on bedside of the room. Outlets worn out and some without covers. Some lights didn't work and the blinds were ripped so people could always see in with lights on. For 60$ I can't complain but won't be coming back. Staff was nice and checkin was easy.
- 1/5
My stay at this motel was terrible. The room lacked basic cleanliness, and the bathroom was especially disappointing — the shower was dirty and corroded. There was a bad smell throughout the room, and the main door area had spilled food spread across the floor, which was extremely unhygienic. The entire room clearly needs proper maintenance, yet they continue operating in this condition. I would not recommend staying here.
- 2/5
Lots of bugs, tv remote kept breaking, staff was very nice however, room also has fridge and microwave so that’s a plus
- 1/5
However, the hallway carpet was disgusting, there was paint falling off the wall, our tub was clogged, there was something on the light switch, & the bathroom towels were gross! They said they would move us to another room, but I had no desire to stay another night. Thankfully, the manager allowed us to cancel our other nights. I don't know if they were in the process of remodeling or what, but until they get things fixed up, I would not stay there.
- 5/5
The employees are professional and leave you in peace
- 1/5
Outdated Dirty
- 2/5
property with poor maintenance and high charges
- 3/5
Property littered with loitering tenants, otherwise adequate and clean with not much breakfast offerings
- 5/5
Sam at the front desk took care of everything! Thank you. We'll be back to see you.
- 1/5
The front desk clerk was the only good thing about this place. If I could give 0 stars I would. We stayed 2 nights, we were greeted by a friendly front desk clerk, then we proceeded down a carpeted hallway that hadn't been cleaned in YEARS, it was spotted with what looked like animal waste and vomit. Our room was outdated and smelled like smoke. Our toilet stopped working in the night and started to over flow, some lady stood in front of our window most of the night smoking and pick dead flowers from the pots. The smoke was coming thru our heater so we had to shut the heat off in the night, it was 28 at night. The next morning they switched us room, that toilet also had problems and would flush for 10 minutes, with loud squeals. All the bed sheets were stained as well as the towels. The key cards often didnt work and there were rocks by all the doors to prop them open. The property it self needs a good clean and a bit of updating. Overall just avoid this place, there are plenty of good places in Glenwood this isn't one of then.
- 5/5
Friendliness
- 5/5
But the staff and management were great and any problem that arose was taken care of professionally and promptly, I would say it was a good time
- 2/5
It served its purpose and was fairly comfy, but it definitely could have been cleaner. The sheets had stains and the tub wasn't cleaned, it had a mix of rust and mildew on it. I was also without water for some time on Saturday night 10/25.
- 4/5
This was my third time staying and the staff has always been very nice and accommodating. It's an easy drive to the hot springs and more affordable
- 3/5
Beautiful view.
- 5/5
good
- 5/5
Clean
- 5/5
Great price and Pet friendly !
- 2/5
This place is dated and dirty. Bed covers stained. Sheets appeared clean but floors were gross. Ants in room. Badly in need of replacing hall carpets and some room maintenance. Didn’t even use shower as it was not clean. Wouldn’t stay again. I guess u get what u pay for.
- 5/5
Friendly staff...let me check-in a little early.
- 5/5
Very nice and hospitality was great
- 5/5
We stayed a couple nights and needed a comfy place and we found this space and it was roomy and clean very convenient on location
- 4/5
Breakfast options are very limited. They only had microwavable sandwiches that you have to microwave yourself and the typical muffins and yogurt. I was really looking forward to a nice breakfast with eggs sausage, bacon the typical breakfast at a hotel.
- 3/5
I know it’s not the hotels fault, but there was a lot of yelling and loud noises in the hallway late at night. The lobby was 4 doors down and it did not sound like they were going to take care of it.
- 5/5
Great cost effective place to stay! Still very close to the main town and hot springs. Staff was very friendly and helpful. I would stay again.
- 5/5
Great, easy place to stay in Glenwood. The design is rather cool and it’s got that “RT66 Motel” feeling. Bed was comfy. Great parking. I noticed it was pet friendly and got to meet a dog, but my room had zero evidence of one ever being in it. Room was nice and clean.
- 3/5
The room itself was super clean, bed & pillows comfortable. Small and cozy space nowhere to sit other than the bed, no closet space but there is a small set of drawers. The breakfast choices are minimal. The building and grounds could use some attention. Not handicap accessible, a few stairs are required to get to rooms from the office. Overall okay since we only slept and showered there.
- 3/5
The hotel is not well maintained, bathroom sink was not draining, some lights were out, window was shattered, hallway was dark.
- 2/5
Toilet was not mounted it would rock back and forth Lamps did not work, outlet had no cover plate behind Mattress? Shower was low water was cold!!!!
- 1/5
dont stay here
- 4/5
maintain the construction and maintenance of the property better. Shabby looking but for the price it was acceptable
- 3/5
Not a very good spot outdoor for exercising our dog. The inside hallways were dirty, but the room and bath were clean. Smelled strongly like Fabuloso. Towels, sheets and mattress appeared new. Comfortable bed and enough pillows.
- 1/5
Not like advertised very dirty smelt awful
- 1/5
The staff/front desk/repair man- friendly. The hotel outside/inside is very rundown, old and unsafe in places (tripping hazards), smelly. Rooms are spacious, but oh, so dirty. The only clean part of the room was the bedding. It looked like they don't have a cleaning crew at all? The prices however were not any lower.
- 2/5
There were bugs in the room then we moved to another with broken dryer and fan.
- 4/5
Friendly easy check in
- 4/5
Nice palce
- 3/5
The room did not have a closet to hang cloths. Only one chair in the room and had no sofa or love seat.
- 2/5
This is a 2 to 2.5 star motel. So take that into account. That said, it was clean and convenient. It felt safe. If you expect more than that, look elsewhere.
- 5/5
Clean spacious room, pet friendly, continental breakfast and courteous staff.
- 1/5
- 1/5
Many of the lights in our room did not work. There were ugly stains in both bathrooms. The staff was nice, but the accommodations were not great. My daughter got no sleep in her room due to loud yelling all night down the hall. It was not the best stay, but I was happy with the staff.
- 1/5
It was so gross and disgusting. The carpets were stained. The towels were stained full of hair. There was hair in the beds and in the bathroom. Everything was so di
- 3/5
The room seemed clean; however Toilet ran throughout the night at varying intervals.
- 1/5
TVs didn't work, I say TVs because there were 2 in the room, one leaning against the wall and one mounted, neither worked. The beds were full of hairs and stains on sheets as well as pillow cases. The drains were slow and the room smelled bad. Will not stay here again
- 1/5
The place is a dump for $250 a night i was afriad to sit on the toliet. Toliet seat was 10 years past needing replacing.
- 3/5
This is the kind of hotel that anywhere else you’d pay $40 for but because of the location you have to pay over $100.
- 1/5
This was an awful experience the lobby smelled like cats I got to my room the TV didn’t work the phone didn’t work then I looked up the phone number and called nobody answered I went down to the lobby the guy guaranteed me I will get my money back from hotels.com I called hotels.com they called him he said he didn’t have his manager approval so now I’m fighting with hotels.com to get my money back horrible experience
- 2/5
Hotel is very run down and very poorly maintained. I didnt see a single staff member after check in. Not once. Two outlets in fhe room barely installed present a hazard to the building qnd residents. Would not book this hotel again for a dire emergency.
- 1/5
They say the hotel is pet friendly but there was no place for your pet to go to the restroom. Hotel did not have room ready with no towels and most of the light bulbs burnt out.
- 5/5
It was next to all the parks and springs. It was ideal for a weekend getaway. Also, the beds were comfortable and tools cool over the summer.
- 3/5
The bed was comfortable and the room itself was pretty clean, but the facilities were very rundown and dirty.
- 1/5
Place was gross. Didn’t even check the room. I immediately went to another hotel.
- 2/5
It smelled like weed. Three of the lights in our room didn’t work. Could hear full conversations from people in the hallway when you’re in the room. Parking was limited. If you sat at the r d of the bed, the front lifted up.
- 3/5
Found a bikini left behind by previous guests in the bathroom along with a used bar of soap left in the shower. There were 2 TV's in the room. One was attached to the wall, the other was on the dresser beneath the one on the wall. The single remote control (universal remote) controlled the tv on the wall which required a code to use it. Front desk employee seemed confused when asked about code. Codes that were given were code to program remote to a tv. Had to figure out the code on our own to unlock the tv. Once code was entered, could not change the input to get regular television. Changed the code on the remote to operate the other tv and could use it to watch however it was level with the bed so not really ideal to watch while laying in the bed.
- 2/5
The breakfast was minimal, and the coffee cream was soured. The keys stop working at 9, yet checkout is 11.
- 2/5
Nothing
- 1/5
Very out dated. There was cracks in the bathroom where mildew was building up. I felt like the tub was going to fall through the ground there were soft spots. Going into the building i noticed that there was a couple broken windows like someone just broke in. I didnt feel safe after seeing that.
- 4/5
The room was clean and they had basic continental breakfast. The bed was not very comfortable but it did not matter.
- 3/5
The place was a little rundown, there were little kids running around the hallway like it’s a playground. Their parents has no consideration. The people are tired and needing to sleep, and the same set of kids were up in the morning, running up and down the same freaking hallway.
- 5/5
For the price it was very clean and the staff was very helpful. I think there is great value in this hotel
- 1/5
Our sink and bathtub clogged so we had to spit in the toilet when brushing our teeth. There were old mattresses out in the back were the extra parking was. Not sure how long they’ve been there. The breakfast was very very limited. For the price we paid I expected the hotel to be updated more and a bigger breakfast. Our fridge had previous food from the people before us in it as well.
- 1/5
This room was filthy, especially the bathroom floor. 3 of 4 lights were out in rhe bathroom and the toilet seat was beoken. Several areas on the wall were damaged. The bed was standard size hardly room for 2 people. No coffee maker in room. Curtains dirty and ragged. Outside planters full of dead plants. Several flying bugs in room. Could not reco.mens anyone staying here.
- 4/5
This place does take tap/Apple Pay! Overall good experience, staff was helpful, room was small but clean and the property was clean. Good priced stay for Glenwood Springs.
- 4/5
But with NO wifi in the rooms in 2025 is an epic fail for the property.
- 2/5
No towel hooks. No place to hang clothes. Kind of all around dingy.
- 2/5
The property had many potholes around the back. My husband went to shower and the knob fell. It looked broke from previously. The hand sink didn’t drain properly. The lighting was awful. I believe we were overcharged for what we received.
- 2/5
Impossible to sleep with barking dogs & people who don’t care who they wake up because they probably live there long term
- 4/5
The hotel employee were very nice. The rooms are much nicer than the outside of the building. It’s in a convenient location as long as you have a car. I would stay here again.
- 1/5
This was the worst hotel stay I have had in a long time. The housekeeper took my stuff when I left it in the room on a two night stay. The management won’t do a thing about it. I didn’t read the reviews before I booked but I wish I had. Everything that could be wrong here is wrong. Go elsewhere!
- 4/5
Quick check in and comfortable economy accomodations for the area
- 1/5
There were several spots on bedding, chairs, carpets, and lamps that had not been cleaned. Hair and bugs were everywhere and only one of the three lights in the room worked. No response from the staff on complaints.
- 1/5
The room seemed fine but at night filled up with bugs I’m talking thousands of nats. The man at the front who was “more of a guest and didn’t really work there” was going to give me the bug spray to spray them myself since they had no other rooms. However I asked he come do it he can took photos of the the thousands of bugs and sprayed the stuff on the bed and lamps it was disturbing. I then slept in my car and was told to return at 9 am to argue with another man for some sort of refund since I was unable to stay in the room. I’ll be disputing the charge with my credit card company and saving myself anymore headaches dealing with the unhelpful rude people here who expect you to sleep in a room full of bugs. Photos show bugs after they were sprayed, didnt want a bunch of photos of bugs all over lovely camera roll. They were all over the bed and my clothes.
- 1/5
The outside of the hotel (plants) were not impressive and the lobby lacked any type of atmosphere. The carpet going into our room looked awful. The room itself had been updated but the lights by the bed didn’t work. The TV was two small and the bathroom needs a refresh. I wouldn’t recommend staying there and I won’t be stay there again. This was less than a 2 star hotel, but was rated as a three star on Hotels.com. Spend a little more and stay in a nicer place.

They should renovate it.

I believe the property is under new ownership and they are making improvements daily. Front desk staff is fantastic and the housekeeping staff is great.
- 3/5
Staff was not able to give directions of where things were
- 4/5
The staff is so nice and helpful!
- 3/5
When we got there, the parking lot was completely full. There was one spot left behind the building. The TV was broken. The water pipes in the bathroom kept making noise all night. The bed was fine and the ice machine worked really well.
- 3/5
Noisy, glad we only stayed one night.
- 2/5
Dirty walls and plumbing that was not functioning properly my room had broken and ripped curtains
- 3/5
Very limited breakfast . Courtyard overgrown. Not well kept.
- 1/5
The property is in very poor shape. The bed sheets had hair all over. The bathroom towels were stained. Also the expedia description said it was walking distance to the ironmountain hot springs. This is totally not tru. It was a 15 minute drive.
- 5/5
Good stay clean attendant at desk helpful and friendly. Will stay again
- 1/5
The pictures were NOT what this place looks like. It is a total scam. It is completely run down, very dirty, bugs in the bathroom, outlets not working in the room, two lights didn’t work in the room, people sleeping outside of the hotel in their car, doors opened and unlocked all day and night to the hotel. The price was NOT worth the stay.
- 3/5
The room itself had a coat of paint on it, which had a nice color scheme, but lamps didn’t work. Lightbulbs were missing. Chairs were worn through the fabric. the AC was noisy although it worked well and tables and chairs were wobbly. Breakfast was packaged food, very unappetizing.
- 4/5
It was close enough

Bugs everywhere, floor not swept, bedding had strands of hair in it and didn't smell clean, room smelled gross, bathroom had scum build-up everywhere, staff is inattentive, not polite, and just tries to switch you to another room, denies refund saying it's Expedia that does the refund, guess what Expedia says...

I would absolutely Return.

Our room had a bunch of dead bugs. Once we informed the staff they did nothing about it
- 4/5
Fair on breakfast; some questionable s around, not liking back door broke, kept open. Facilities need more clean-up outside. Staff attentive and nice.

We were trying to find an inexpensive hotel room for 2 nights since we were going to be out and about and just needed a bed and shower. It was almost $400 for a gross room. Dirty walls, dirty bathroom, the shower curtain was broken and fell down every time we took a shower. When we checked in the gentleman at the desk was nice enough but told us our room was downstairs. We looked downstairs and there were bags of trash at the bottom of the landing so we thought he was wrong and started upstairs. He caught us and said again our room was downstairs. I said oh I saw all the trash so I wasn't sure. He said the staff was still cleaning the rooms. This was at 8:30pm. We had to walk around all of the trash to access our room. There was also not enough parking for the guests.

This place was gnarly and at $120/night on special, I was less than impressed and more than disappointed! The grounds were disgusting. Covered in trash/litter and dog poop. The side doors were left unlocked and wide open 24/7 which struck me as very unsafe. The battery panel for the automatic lock on our room door was completely missing. The outdoor area with bbq and fire pit gave off a very stabby vibe. The continental breakfast was near wiped out by 7:30am and nothing was ever replenished. 3 out of 4 of the juice options were totally empty. If you’re trying to get a good mental image of this place; think Bates Motel mixed with Caprini Green, but worse. 10/10 would NOT recommend!
- 3/5
Our room was clean and tidy but the first morning there was no coffee and cereal was empty. Noisy neighbors and dirty back parking lot. Laundry room was broken. Also i paid for 2 nights and my key stopped working the next dsy.
- 4/5
The property around the motel needs improvement, flower pots were full of dead weeds and trash around parking lot. No where for dogs to go to run and relief themselves.
- 1/5
Terrible. Filthy. Just awful.
- 2/5
It is on the low end of motels. Old. Need hooks in the bath, toilet ran, outside could use cleaning of walls, ran out of coffee, and only some pastries for breakfast. BUT the bed and pillows were very comfortable!
- 2/5
More of a motel vibe, away from the town just off the highway. Nervous going into it because of the reviews. Is listed as a 7 but would say a 3. Did have bugs in the room, we just slept the few hours we needed to get back on the road in the morning. Staff up front was nice. Coming from out of state would suggest the brand name hotels that are more together in town to feel safe.
- 3/5
Exterior was not well maintained. Pers were welcome but the very small vegetative relief area was covered with dog feces and needed attention. My dogs wouldnt use it.
- 5/5
Overall it was nice. There was tissue in eye hole. There were bugs in the room. The bed was a little hard
- 1/5
The room had not been cleaned and when I went to talk to the front desk the brushed it off and made excuses, but there is zero excuse for a dirty room. 200 a night for a dirty room is absolutely unacceptable
- 2/5
I am a older women traveling alone I felt unsafe. The room was dirty. I had luggage to carry up and down stairs. For the money I could have found a better hotel.
- 2/5
The room itself was fine-clean but a bit dated. However, the noise was ridiculous. Kids ran loudly through out the halls until 1:30 am and noise in the parking lot started at 5 am. The doors have no seal so you can hear it all!
- 3/5
To expensive for the condition but it was clean and comfortable in tge room. The stair case was a little dirty and had lits of bugs.
- 2/5
The toilet flapper needed to be replaced--the toilet ran about every fifteen minutes (we closed to door to avoid the noise). Nicknamed it "Old Faithful." The faucet on the sink was loose (I reached under and tightened it). The tub floor was scuffed. There was a moldy smell from the A/C. The carpets in the hallways showed signs of dirt and wear. By the time I got to the "continental breakfast," there were only a few pieces of bread. I'm not sure what continent they were referring to. The beds were comfortable, and for a night, we made do. However, it was Fourth of July, and they raised their rate in a town that has become quite expensive for families on a budget. There are more likely better alternatives. Good luck.
- 5/5
Property overall was good, it needs a little update
- 1/5
There are beds bugs ... took couples photos of people got bitten... 4 in total room 110
- 3/5
Fairly priced! Just Somme bugs in my room and a couple of light bulbs not working. No bed bugs tho!
- 3/5
Small rooms , bulbs missing ,no roll away for extra person. Rooms to small for roll away anyway.
- 3/5
Needs upgrades, no hair dryer, no coffee maker in room.
- 2/5
Check in Washington okay , parking and lot is neglected weeds over growing all over , the room curtaings were all dry torned ,nice and cool ac , the walls has stains . Shower not so Good hard to figure out tub not draining well. Breckfast was closed before due date , maybe because they run out of food due to a rooms sold out.
- 2/5
General cleanliness of the lobby and property around the hotel was bad. Hallway floors were unacceptably dirty. Bombed out car in back of hotel lot, old mattresses out, and unkept pet area in front full of poop and other garbage. Toilet was loud, running intermittently a throughout the night. Bed was ok. Room was decent however cable tv was out for entire hotel.
- 4/5
The staff was great. The room was clean and it was very affordable.
- 4/5
