Reviews
Guests generally appreciate the friendly and helpful staff, cleanliness, and comfortable beds. However, many express dissatisfaction with the lack of complimentary breakfast and the additional charge for parking.

The facility was very clean and the staff was super kind and personable in a professional way.
- 4/5
The facility is very inviting and calm. It has everything one needs to maintain contact. However, for an away from downtown location, we were surprised there was $15 fee per vehicle park at their parking lot which has no security nor gated area neither.
- 5/5
Beautiful mountain town to visit.
- 4/5
Nice

The sink didn't drain properly and the shower door leaked. The $15 per day for parking in the lot outside was a hidden charge that wasn't appreciated. The cleaning staff was friendly and helpful.

Friendly staff

Shower barely worked, the room door didn’t close all the way so a lot of light came through from the hallway

Do u like concrete slabs for beds? Do u enjoy flat and lumpy pillows? Bad attitude front desk staff? Adults flopping out their boobs in the pool area/ hot tub and no towels to dry off with? Paying $15 a day for parking? No free breakfast? Perhaps u have 2 days and an extra $585 laying around to waste. Then boy this is the hotel for u. I should have known how empty the parking lot was when we pulled in. It should have been a sign vs all the other hotels. I thought I hit the jackpot! I've stayed in hotels before but boy does this take the cake. Plan accordingly or better then I did and definitely do not put this hotel on your list. I thought courtyard Marriot was a decent brand name..this hotel was a disgrace.
- 4/5
Convenient to things to do. Had trouble adjusting to the beds.
- 5/5
We enjoyed staying with you. We only missed free breakfast.
- 2/5
Good location For my two nights day, the people above me were awake almost all night and the floor was constantly creaking. I called the front desk and nothing was done. Also, the showers are lacking cleanliness as I found hair upon arrival. They also charge $15 per night for parking which is not stated anywhere, which I think is a rip off.
- 4/5
Nice place to stay with family.
- 5/5
Thank you for the wonderful stay
- 4/5
Theres only one microwave to use and ww found that a bit unusual. would've been great with maybe 2 more. loved the staff and the room was very clean
- 5/5
Front staff was fantastic

Staff were rude and Bathroom commode broken . No fee breakfast.

Clean hotel
- 5/5
Good, clean and well-kept hotel, only lack of good internet!
- 3/5
Water temperature wasn't the best. Paying for parking didn't make sense.

Unfortunately, the cleanliness of the rooms was disappointing. The bathroom had questionable stains on the walls near the toilet, and in the bedroom we found leftover Christmas candy wrappers under the bed along with a dirty, used earplug. While the sheets appeared clean and the beds themselves were comfortable, the overall condition of the room left us uneasy. We also discovered that the refrigerator in our room wasn’t working—but only after we had already stored food inside and realized it was all at room temperature. To add to our frustration, we found it ridiculous that parking cost $15 per night, per car. For a stay that already had several issues, this extra fee felt excessive. Overall, this property may be fine if you’re traveling with kids and looking for a budget-friendly option, but it’s best to manage your expectations regarding cleanliness, maintenance, and added fees.

The housekeeping knocked on my door at 10:50 with checkout at 11:00. I said I was just leaving and she acted really annoyed! So I walked out my door five minutes later and the housekeeping cart was in the hall and a huge pile of dirt sheets etc also sitting in the hall and another pile of stuff on the floor that blocked the hallway so much that I had to pull my 2 suitcases one at a time through their piles of stuff and cart because there was only a like 12 inch path to get down the hall to the elevator! I'm not a stuck up rich person picking on housekeeping, I have cleaned motel rooms in my teenage years to make money so I know it's not the funnest job but being rude and blocking the hallway was not cool. This was only one of the staff that knocked on my door, but she sure is teaching other people working in housekeeping to be rude and to block you.the hallway neither of which is right. Also this hotel needs some updating since I had peeling wallpaper in my room and furniture that was obviously older and beat up a bit. I stay in Marriotts a lot. And all in all for the first time this hotel did not meet Marriotts high standards that I have seen in all the other Marriotts I've stayed in.
- 2.5/5
The location was good They charged more than quoted
- 5/5
And having a restaurant within your establishment. The parking fee. It is not necessary with all those parking places available surrounding the building.
- 2.5/5
Room arrangement was terrible. Bed to close to wall on right side. Suffered toe injury
- 4/5
The shower was painful water pressure!
- 4/5
Good property
- 0.5/5
The location was very convenient. We were close to all the attractions we wanted to see and visit. The room was not clean, breakfast was lack luster. I was provided a ada room which was not up to par and has consistent plumbing issues
- 2.5/5
Clean and good location Unexpected parking charge outdoor lot. Restaurant closed 12/23. Matress too soft. Plane is looking worn
- 5/5
Reasonable price to value
- 3/5
Room was good but not the one i had asked for staff was friendly check in and check out was easy
- 2/5
This hotel needs updating all around. The carpets were very dirty in the lobby / sitting area where people hang out, watch the big screen tv, and eat breakfast. The continental breakfast was supposed to be included in the hotel stay, but it turned out that we had to pay for the breakfast items. The heater didn't work in our room, But thankfully we had hot water. The pool and hot tub was working but it wasn't very welcoming. The pool was dirty. This was definitely not worth the money we spent on this stay.
- 4/5
Very nice facility
- 3/5
Should have read the reviews. They charged me $15 for parking and never even mentioned to me that they would when I checked in. I just got an email with the charge. They also made it sound like breakfast was complimentary like it is at every hotel I’ve ever stayed, but no, it’s overpriced and not exceptional. Those things plus their lack of communication on them left a very sour taste. Otherwise, clean, nice hotel.
- 2/5
Did not ask for an ADA room but was given one on first floor. Lots of noise from room above about 1:30am. Thumping went on for almost an hour. We figured the hotel gave us the room as we did not book through Marriott. Also a surprise $15 parking fee was in my bill the next day. This info was not communicated at the time of checkin.
- 2/5
Staff was cold, as if checking me in was an annoyance. Room had massive water damage, sink didn’t drain. Overall unclean feeling. Not happy.
- 5/5
Great front desk staff, friendly and efficient
- 5/5
Smooth check in and competent staff
- 4/5
the hotel is well located and the staff super nice, What I didn't like was the surroundings. I took my service dog out and there was a lot of dirt around it. Next, the air conditioning didn't cool as it should and at night it was hot and we thought the box springs were broken because every time we got up it made a really bad noise and the TV control was awful, it was horrible to search for or put on programming. The other thing I didn't like was that because you were at the hotel they didn't include parking and they charged you for it at the end of your stay.

The room wasn’t clean in general. It’s not the housekeepings fault for that. On the third day of my stay I got a phone call from the front desk stating that my dogs were barking and that I couldn’t control them. I explained to her that there was a dog that was across the hall that was barking, and my dogs were only reacting to it. If she would’ve looked at how many nights I had already stayed and that there weren’t any pior complaints about my dogs prior to that. Then to say that I couldn’t control the dogs. Myself was just rude and out of line she did apologize to me over the phone later in the day, but only because I called later in the day,to let her know that the other dog from across the hall was barking again, so she would know that it wasn’t my dogs,. That’s when she apologized. She also mentioned to me that she would follow up with me and never did. Then later on in the night, she said that she would follow up with my mom and never did. I feel like it’s very unprofessional and the entire situation made us feel very unwelcome and uncomfortable. I did get an email from someone probably their supervisor saying that they were extremely sorry I had a bad stay, but they didn’t offer me anything in return for that. It’s not that I expect anything to be free, but it just seems strange to a generic apology.
- 2/5
When we arrived we needed a shower bad. It was broken, lukewarm at best. Then the maintenance guy came and fixed. Just woke up exhausted because the curtains and blinds are also broken. Can’t shut the curtains and the room is bright and sunny at 6:49am. Will be talking to management.
- 5/5
Very enjoyable stay!!
- 4.5/5
Everything
- 3/5
Woman at check in was not friendly. Took my card number for incidentals. After I left I was charged for parking without ever being asked if I had a vehicle at check in.
- 0.5/5
Rude employees lost our reservation was just about the worst experience I have had on a trip Rude see last remarks ended up having to go to another hotel because they lost our reservation and said was over booked
- 4/5
Great location, clean, spacious room. Thin walls and floors. Front staff was never sitting at check in desk. Scary to think anyone could just walk in.
- 5/5
Thank you! We enjoyed the stay.
- 5/5
The location is great, lots of shopping and food options within walking distance. The hotel is clean, well maintained and has great common areas. The staff was pleasant and efficient and the rooms were very clean.
- 4.5/5
close to hot springs and away from the noise
- 5/5
Everything was excellent
- 3/5
Pool was cloudy wouldn’t dare go in it not up to Marriott standards
- 5/5
great place, we will come back next year!
- 5/5
Loved the location just wished that breakfast was included.
- 4/5
This place is a good option! It’s nice, and clean and is in a good open area. I loved how close it was to target, and some tourist attractions. It is rather pricey, especially given the fact that you pay for parking, and any food (no included breakfast). So definitely keep that in mind, but it was worth it considering most nice hotels in the area don’t allow people under 21 to reserve rooms. As someone who’s younger than 21 and travels, it was nice to be able to have a clean, comfortable room in a beautiful area! Highly recommend to younger individuals who don’t mind the extra cost!
- 4/5
The property was well maintained. Rooms were clean and facility was clean too. The lady at the front desk was not very knowledgeable. She told us there was a free/complimentary continental breakfast but we could only ever find the bar and she never told us what time checkout was or if we had to checkout vs like just dropping our keys off at the front. There was hardly ever anyone at the front desk. We had to stand there for awhile and they. Overall good stay though!
- 4/5
Clean and new. Nothing really
- 4/5
Check in was easy. Property is clean and very modern. Staff was very helpful.
- 5/5
The town is very pretty nice views. Very clean and quiet.
- 4/5
It was a good stay…family came as well and they accommodated us with adjoining rooms. But, when we got there they informed us that we were required to pay $15/day for parking…surprised as this was not a downtown kind of hotel. I think that needs to be put in the info for the hotel.
- 2/5
Way over priced more like a 2 star
- 5/5
Clean, comfortable, lobby was spacious with a lot of seating and a nice bar area. staff were friendly and gracious.
- 3/5
Over priced hotel. No breakfast included. Extra charge for parking. We were on a 2 week vacation and this was the most we paid for a room by $100/night with the least amenities. I would never stay here again
- 3.5/5
Having to pay $15 a day for parking. Outrageous after the price we paid to stay.
- 5/5
The view on the property was great! The bistro was not open the night we were there, not really a down side. But after a long day of travel I really just wanted some food and drink you know
- 0.5/5
I did not like this property, the staff were so rude that I checked out the next day. Staff was rude, the room bathroom floor was not swept, hair could be seen on the floor.
- 5/5
Very clean very close to hot springs and downtown
- 5/5
Was good
- 5/5
Friendly. Clean. Very nice!
- 5/5
Great location, dog friendly!
- 4/5
It was nice. The shower leaked water all over the floor.
- 3/5
This is a very nice, clean property- however I was misled when I made my reservation that breakfast was included -very disappointing to discover that not only was it not included, the breakfast choices were very expensive! And the only coffee or tea available is from the Starbucks on site - I think it is very bad customer service to not even provide coffee, tea, and water in the lobby 😟
- 3.5/5
I was very surprised that they charged us $15 for parking. That is a first in a non-downtown hotel and we won't stay there again because of that. They also charge for "premium" internet.
- 2/5
Parking fee
- 5/5
Great location, the views are amazing! Bistro has great food, and a seriously good hot cocoa. Their Market had a good selection and was decently priced for what it is. Staff was attentive and friendly. My doggo was welcomed and they even gave us a room close to the side door in the bottom floor so it was easy to walk him and keep him calm. It's close to downtown and the canyons adventure park. 10/10, would stay again!
- 5/5
Pool, hottub, fitness room, comfortable bed.
- 5/5
Great
- 5/5
It’s fine
- 5/5
One night stay
- 2/5
Not to mention an inexplicable $15 charge to park in their uneven isolated parking lot.
- 5/5
It’s a nice place
- 5/5
Convenient location
- 3/5
This stay was ok at best. A dirtier, than other Marriotts I’ve stayed at. Carpet wasn’t vacuumed upon arrival or even after housekeeping services on day three of our stay. There was hair on floor and in shower in bathroom, several cracks in shower floor and horrible caulking Job around shower door. Wallpaper peeling and water damaged wall under window. Food from the Bistro was not good at all. Tasted like freezer thawed store bought processed food, warmed up and charged outrageously for. If I had to guess this was an old hotel they bought and tried to update. Definitely not up to the Marketed “Marriott" standard portrayed.
- 5/5
My stay here was wonderful! The staff was very friendly, my breakfast was yummy, and my room was very clean and comfortable. I also used the gym which was very clean as well. My only complaint was the showerhead was like going through a car wash and I couldn't adjust it. Wonderful stay and will stay here again!
- 4/5
Was it just to see if I’m going to stay? Isn’t that what reserving a room is for?
- 5/5
I liked the breakfast they offered. Easy and convenient place to get to. The location was also out of the way of busy roads, so easy to get in and out of. Great and helpful staff.
- 5/5
very good
- 5/5
It was great
- 5/5
Very good and kind service.
- 5/5
Great place to stay
- 5/5
Safe Quiet convenient Easy Parking
- 5/5
Friendly service, great bar with awesome healthy food selections, clean rooms.
- 5/5
It was a nice hotel, great staff. Room very clean and comfortable. In a beautiful spot and close to Iron Mntn Springs. Good restaurants close by. Looking forward to next visit.
- 4/5
Their food service was excellent. Fridge in room wasn't working, no microwave.
- 4/5
Area is beautiful. Hotel is clean and well maintained, but the summer months are overcrowded and the rates are very high.
- 5/5
Will stay here on future trips to the area.
- 5/5
Spotlessly clean Marriott property following the Courtyard model. Spacious room, friendly efficient people.
- 4/5
I can’t imagine paying $12 to park at a motel! Glad I didnt
- 5/5
great customer service & helpful staff as always.
- 5/5
helpful and thoughtful customer service
- 5/5
Well maintained property, nice room, good service. Awesome views!
- 3/5
It was a very average hotel. For being a marriott, I was not impressed. We couldnt get the tv to turn on in the room or the iron to work. The pool looked very grimy and gross and the hot tub was not even hot. The room was clean and pretty nice but they didn't clean it while we were there at all which is abnormal for a hotel. It was an okay stay but for the price, I would pick a different hotel next time.
- 5/5
great staff, always kind and helpful.
- 5/5
Nice stay.
- 5/5
Friendly desk staff, quiet rooms.
- 4/5
Pet fee is $100 which is quite high for a single night and well behaved doggo. Hotel was very clean and nice. Staff friendly. Huge cost for single night with surprise dog (knew it'd be about $50) and parking fees ($12 a night), as well as high nightly rate.
- 2/5
The service was poor our room was skipped for service 2 times, basically our whole stay. There were mice in the lobby, and spiders in our bathroom! The staff did nothing when told about it. I found 4 recluse spiders and my brother found some too. The area was a tourist trap. The food at the restaurants was poor. There was no breakfast and not even complimentary coffee offered. The price was excessively high for the room and service we had. Never again!
- 4/5
Lobby was nice and the entire hotel was clean.
- 2/5
Also, several things didn’t work in the room. It was a really disappointing stay
- 4/5
Housekeeping late
- 5/5
Property was managed really well clean kept up, but I sure did not like that couch that was in a room It was Uncomfortable.
- 5/5
it was a top notch facility with the most gentle workers, that aim to please.
- 5/5
Nice hotel. Parking is limited, so plan ahead. Staff was fantastic and helpful.
- 5/5
Great customer service
- 4/5
Only stayed one night. Everything was great. Close to the hot springs. We slept good on the kingsize bed.
- 3/5
The staff was kind and helpful. Parking was great. Beds were comfortable. Despite being busy, the staff worked hard to help make our stay comfortable.
- 5/5
No complaints
- 5/5
We were greeted by Crystal. She was friendly, welcoming, and helpful. The hotel was clean, quiet, and comfortable. Fantastic experience!
- 5/5
Friendly people, peaceful and relaxing
- 4/5
Nothing
- 3/5
Beds are really hard and no complimentary drinks like coffee or tea. Staff was amazing and friendly!!
- 5/5
I was very comfortable staying here and the staff was excellent!
- 5/5
Everyone at the hotel was very professional and the ladies working the food area were very good.
- 5/5
Nice and convenient
- 5/5
The room was comfortable and spacious. We had our dog with us and there was plenty of green space around.
- 3/5
Had to call front desk because room next door was loud and it was 12:45am. :-(
- 5/5
Beautiful property! Facilities are nice. Room was clean.
- 5/5
Everything was great
- 5/5
Love it. Malls are cool.
- 3/5
Cute hotel. The shower was a nightmare.
- 3/5
why no complimentary breakfast? The Marriott next door, which was bigger and cheaper had a complimentary breakfast.......
- 5/5
Thanks!
- 5/5
Staff was friendly great environment.
- 4/5
The best part about this property was the staff. Everyone was really nice and helpful. Everything was very clean including all the different facilities. Unfortunately, the property did look a little warn and beat up. It seemed like it could use a little refresh. However, I would definitely stay here again.
- 3/5
We ordered some hummus and carrots. Carrots looked like been sitting in the fridge for weeks.
- 5/5
Service is terrific and you get to pet a cute puppy that belongs to one of the nice front desk people. Breakfast is not free but is made hot and hearty. Beds are comfortable and the shower feels nice. Only complaint I have is some of the wall sockets were not working so it was cumbersome trying to hook up my CPAP machine. Overall very nice, comfortable, and clean.
- 5/5
It was cool
- 5/5
Great room with great helpful staff.
- 2/5
Restless night..
- 5/5
Room was perfect. We enjoyed our stay and even more a comfortable good nights rest. The bed was so comfy.
- 5/5
Staff was extremely helpful and courteous.
- 3/5
Was disappointed to arrive at the hotel, to fund out the bar was closed, due to lacknof employees. Being on the outskirts of Glenwood Springs, we were looking forward to having a place to enjoy a few cocktails in the evening. The beds were comfortable and the room was fairly clean. The pool area had a ton of bugs built up in the corners, and the water was questionable. The TV remote was falling apart, which made it difficult to change channels. When we called for a few additional things we needed, we were told to come down to the front desk to pick the items up. This was not an inexpensive stay, yet there was no breakfast except for the limited selection you had to pay for. My mom even had to buy her hot tea. Also, they charge you $12/night for parking when its in the middle of nowhere, so there is nowhere else to park, or any reason others would park there if they're not guests of the hotel. I wont return to this hotel in the future, i wouldnt recommend.
- 5/5
Everything was great except when i went to use the outlet to charge my phone connected to a sconce it shorted and tripped the breaker. Was in the dark untill i called guests services who came quick to reset the breaker.
- 1/5
changed my handicap room without asking me first. I had trouble using the low toilet with no handrail made it very hard for me. causing the pain in my back to act up.
- 5/5
Thanks it was great
- 2/5
They charge your credit card for hidden charges after you check out. $250 for a mediocre hotel is bad enough, but they charge you extra for parking after you leave. They should at least be upfront up the extra charges when you book
- 2/5
Hotel not as advertised. The web say they have hot tubs connect to the hot springs in Glenwood. This is not the case. Restaurant only had about half there items available for dinner due for kitchen issues.
- 4/5
Cleanliness of the room
- 5/5
I can’t thank the ladies at the front desk enough for all their help.
- 2/5
As far as the room, it was decent, I just wish they had a microwave in the rooms. Also, the toilet was leaking from the tank all over the floor. Shower was nice and hot though and I like the shampoo/ conditioner and body was that they supply. The area is decent, everything is in walking distance, nice paths that go into town. I do with the shopping center next door had more restaurants and places to shop, but again the Free city bus is a nice option to get to other restaurants in the surrounding areas. I didn’t drive on our stay here, but I did see a sign that said there was an additional charge for Parking at the Courtyard by Marriott? Which turned me off…so if I drive next time I come up here, I won’t be staying here if they’re going to charge me to park!! Otherwise, we had a great time up here and again, the hotel staff was very friendly and accommodating.
- 4/5
Rooms were clean and comfortable. Pretty expensive for Glenwood Springs with $70 in additional room and parking charges.
