The hotel has a beautiful property with top-notch service and multiple dining options, but guests have reported issues with understaffing, construction noise, and high prices for food and parking. Some guests have also had negative experiences with management and billing.

This is not a cheap stay, and for the money I expected more. It wasn’t bad, just not what I expected for $1100 for 2 nights. The room was average, felt outdated, balcony view of the atrium was nice. Shower drained slow and pooled which I think is so gross. The room had no body wash - I could have brought our own but for just 2 nights I figured it would be easier to just use what they had. We had a bar of hand soap…again just for the price not what I expected. The Cantina buffer was $42 for adults and $22 for a 6 year old…and the food was NOT good. We should have went to a nice restaurant for what we paid. Again, for the price we wanted to convenience of everything there to maximize time. Now the water park for our son was great. It was not overcrowded due to some spotty weather but turned out to make it great for us! Park was clean and he had the best time! We would not likely go back, just too expensive for subpar accommodations.

First time staying is absolutely beautiful and gorgeous in there. So relaxing and nice The only thing I can say is that the coffee maker in the room I could not find a plug so I moved it to the restroom to make my coffee. Other than that, I was so excited to have the different flavors of coffee and tea. Thank you!
- 4/5
Food options were limited and not accounting for dietary restrictions. The taste of what was available was not palatable.
- 5/5
Everything about my family’s experience at this resort was amazing! Just make sure if you have any odds or ends that need to be picked up that you visit the local Walmart.

We always enjoy our stay for our Anniversary we have been coming there for years but this experience wasn’t pleasant and I called and informed your manager she did NOTHING TO COMPENSATE OUR STAY $900 for two nights I thought we would have been offered some sort of compensation for a Loyal customer…. Cheer camp competition and we was put in the center of all of that we could have stayed home and been awaken by our own children every morning 6am-7am up from loud young ladies!!
- 3.5/5
The property was clean and had great restaurants. The waterpark was small and didn’t have as many activities to do at the hotel when considering the price.
- 5/5
Silent music Zumba class by the pools Relax time by the lobby. Kids enjoyed every minute there.

Staff was friendly. no decent quality chair in room, no entertainment at bar on the weekend. Restaurant food was fantastic, especially Old Hickory Steakhouse.
- 5/5
The atrium was very beautiful and relaxing. The room was comfortable and well-maintained. The sundries shop was sadly filled with mostly junk food. I couldn’t find any fruits or other healthy foods for snacks.

Almost everything. No shuttle service for the 10 minute drive from the airport to the hotel. I had to spend $100 for a car service offered thru the hotel. About 2000 people flew in for this event, many from other countries. The Gaylord Hotel/Resort is well acquainted with having large events at their hotel(s). Additionally, there were about 40 people in line to check in and check out. Providing separate check in/check out lines would have been preferred as checking in is usually faster.

Exceptional service, beautiful property. Everything was good.
- 5/5
Magnificent from top to bottom. Fabulous amenities, restaurants and staff.
- 4/5
Costs for dining. Having at least one reasonably priced restaurant or cafeteria to dine in would have made my trip top-notch. As an out of state guest attending a conference, and not having a personal form of transportation outside of the resort, meals were so expensive that I was unable to afford to eat more than once per day.
- 4/5
All amenities and experiences were excellent, with the exception of the food prices. The room was great, but the view from my balcony was was amazing! Listening to the water flow through the little rivers and waterfalls during the evenings was very relaxing. Costs for dining. Awesome stop I can’t wait to come back.
- 5/5
Attended Gaylord Texan for a conference. No complaints. Beautiful property with excellent service. The catered food from the hotel at the conference was also great.

The staff and vibe are perfect for a Texan staycation! Rooms are spacious and clean and the balcony view facing inward is worth the upgrade!

Pretty nice. Might come again next year
- 2/5
Our hotel room's air conditioning did not work. The weather was not bad so we dealt with it. The stay was work related and we were in and out and did not have time to get corrected. I will be staying by the DFW airport again this week, just not sure if the stay was worth the $$$.
- 5/5
Great stay!
- 5/5
Anyway, it is a gorgeous hotel, we had an atrium view room which we paid extra for. We had some food from the sports bar, it was decent, nothing to write home about.
- 3/5
The noise from construction was unbearable.
- 5/5
What a gorgeous place. Staff was amazing and the whole entire atmosphere.Definitely would go back.
- 5/5
It was beautiful. Really a bummer that they closed the outdoor pool for supposed work but nothing was being done. Wish they had at least let people in to sit out even if we couldn’t use the pool. Nowhere else to sit out but that pool so that wasn’t good. Disappointed
- 3/5
There was a youth competition going on during stay. For the price of room, wish the rooms were a little more sound proof
- 5/5
The property is spectacular great family vacation.
- 4/5
Beautiful, comfortable, and well-staffed property, but food choices on site are limited, expensive, and predominantly "by reservation only" on the weekends.
- 5/5
Came here for an anime convention, room was comfortable, great food options, the whole place is walkable and the atrium is big enough you can feel like you’re outside without dealing with the heat of being outside.
- 5/5
Top resort in the area
- 5/5
Everything fine.
- 5/5
Can’t wait to come back
- 5/5
We enjoyed our stay at Gaylord Texan. Friendly and professional staff and beautiful resort vibe
- 5/5
All dining was very good, staff very friendly, a little disappointed that my vehicle was left outside even though paying valet for garage parking. Highly recommend the steak house.
- 5/5
The room was fine. The noise from the hall was loud.
- 3/5
I requested maintenance on a toliet that wasn't filling properly at 1:00pm on the first day of my stay and no one showed up or followed up with me
- 4/5
My only reason for 4 instead of 5 stars was the pool. For a resort this large and expensive, the outdoor pool seemed to be an afterthought. It was very small and crowded, with no seating available by 12PM. People were strewn about laying on the concrete pooldeck, and you had to be careful not to step on someone. The DJ was so loud that we couldn't hold a conversation without moving to the far side of the pool. We ended up laying on the pool deck our towels and stayed for about 3 hours. I specifically stayed here for the pool because it looked so relaxing online. It was anything but that. Very dissapointing. The 4 stars were from the top notch restaurants and the poolside food and drink.
- 5/5
Gym was amazing

The outside pool was very full. Overall loved our stay though

I was told upon check-in that there was construction going on in the area of our room. If I would have been notified in advance, I would have stayed at a different hotel. It was very loud until about 6pm. The executive suite was really basic. The room was very noisy at night. We could hear the squeaking of the elevator cables and gears all night long. The construction work started up about 9am the following morning, so it was a very noisy stay the entire time. The staff was very courteous though. It was a horrible experience for our first time.
- 5/5
They put us in the vine tower with all the kids were. Wy husband had to call concierge to complain about the noise.?
- 5/5
The Taylor Texan is a great place to stay! I was a little disappointed in the food at the Cantina restaurant and the limited choices at the Marketplace. But, it was still a comfortable, clean and fun place to stay.
- 5/5
Exceptional stay!!
- 5/5
I’ve slept like a baby because my hotel room is so quiet, and the bed is so comfortable. The conference meeting rooms are cold, which most people prefer. The central atrium is really beautiful. I’ve enjoyed sitting on the veranda, enjoying coffee each day.
- 5/5
Clean, friendly staff, overall creat experience. Loved Christmas village and experience!!
- 5/5
Everything was perfect!
- 5/5
Nice clean room
- 4/5
Once at the Gaylord it was great. Customer service, the room, the scenery was great. The 2 negatives I took away was having to pay for parking when you own all of the property with nothing else around you. 2nd, you can not call directly and get ahold of someone at the front desk. The system is set up to use AI.
- 5/5
Great
- 5/5
Clean, comfortable rooms and great amenities.
- 3/5
The alarm went off for an hour in our room as well as kids running around at 2:00 am. Other than that, it was a 5 star stay!

- 4/5
Room was beautiful and the staff was friwndy
- 5/5
Clean rooms, sweet staff, awesome amenities and a great experience!! Totally loved it
- 1/5
From the time we checked in we had problems. The last at the front desk seemed confused. She couldn’t find our reservation after multiple attempts and providing her with the reservation number. She directed us to the parking garage and assured us the room key would allow us access to the garage. The key was not activated to access the garage upon arrival and our departure. That is extremely frustrating when it is 15 degrees outside and there is 6 inches of snow on the ground. To add to our dissatisfaction with national cheerleading completion was in town for the weekend. Of course this place has giant convention centers and lots of conventions so that is perfectly understandable. However, when each group of cheerleaders/dancers are allowed to celebrate, yell and scream until 2 am in the atrium that is ridiculous! We payed $400 per night and expected a higher level of decorum and customer service. To add to that, the service at the river walk restaurant was poor. We were ignored after ordering our drinks and had to eventually complain to the manger because our table was ignored over and over again. This is a beautiful hotel with lots of amenities, but we were not impressed. We would like to be compensated for our numerous intances of inconvenience!

- 5/5
Everything was excellent!!
- 3/5
Ok - phone did not work and they made no attempt to fix it
- 5/5
Room was clean and comfortable … slept great! The restaurant Texan station was great and had a good selection and reasonably priced. Ol Hickory was phenomenal!!!! … didn’t experience the other restaurants since we only spent 2 nights. Room service fell flat … food took over an hour and it was barely warm and there was no microwave to reheat any of it … additionally the bacon was missing and when I inquired, they expected me to wait an additional 45 - 60+ min … won’t do that again!!! Nonetheless, I had to leave the facility to eat a hot breakfast!! Other than that I had an enjoyable time at the resort … will revisit if in the area.
- 5/5
We had a great time! There was so much to do and the accommodations were amazing!
- 5/5
Very big place , friendly staff, enjoyedmy stay. Loved that they have a variety of restaurants. Big plus to the old hickory steakhouse, it was an amazing experience. We do plan to come back again.
- 5/5
Amazing property! So many family activities!
- 5/5
Everything was perfect for my family of 4
- 4/5
This is amazing property however there are two things I didn’t like. One was the distance you have to walk from the parking garage to your vehicle. Two was the limited sitting area for the Christmas presentation mostly everyone had to sit on the floor too ear . Besides that it was a great place to visit.
- 5/5
The staff were excellent. The rooms were clean and beautiful. It was our 49th wedding anniversary and we were treated exceptionally well. An upgraded room and free desserts. We love the Gaylord Texan!!
- 1/5
To have to pay for everything separately like the ice the parking when you already paid for the hotel room Thats ridiculous.
- 2/5
The 2 stars rating is because the place was very beautiful during Christmas but was so packed that every request took more than 1.5 hours. We needed pillows for the kids and that took several phone calls to get the pillows. The wait for food and standing in line wasn't worth it. Also, the rooms were OK, but for the price paid they weren't. There was only basic bathroom toiletries!
- 5/5
Great stay
- 3/5
The Gaylord Texan is enormous. It lacks personal service. Check in process was slow and inefficient. Rooms are dated. Bathroom too small. A totally mediocre experience.
- 2/5
This had never happened to me before and the hotel is not cheap, so at least they should have kept their word and given me the room they promised .
- 5/5
Wonderful resort and hotel
- 4/5
Huge, beautiful hotel/resort. Lots to look at and do. The rooms were just average. At $600 per night, I expected more. At the very least, I expected superior cleaning. Lipstick scribbles on the bathroom door...sorry, Gaylord, you're not the Motel 6. Do better.
- 3/5
Room one was perfect. Room two wasn’t ready until after 6 pm. Not optimal for us at all.
- 5/5
Loved
- 2/5
Let me explain. The good: clean rooms, clean hallways, comfy beds. The bad: there is no point in booking a room here, since for all restaurants, services, attractions, anyone who is not a guest can come in and use those services/attractions/restaurants. The parking costs the same whether you're an overnight guest or not. The main problem is: we wanted to dine there, and there was ZERO availability at any of the restaurants, on a Sunday evening. They did not sneak us in even though we were hotel guests. The only restaurant that had some availability had a 2.5 hour wait, and had nothing that was kid friendly. In brief, you care for the attractions? Stay elsewhere, reserve online ahead of time, come park (and pay the same $29+tax like non-guests pay). A few more nits: 1. The Marriott app said parking was $25+tax, we were charged $29+tax 2. Many elevators we used had buttons that didn't work It was a major waste of time for us (time is a lot more precious than money).
- 4/5
the hotel is beautiful but room is not worth 400$
- 2/5
Facility was clean, parking was really bad, Valet was full and very disorganized, self park was almost $30. This is basically a tourist trap.
- 5/5
Staff were super friendly and very professional. All activities were well organized and fun!
- 4/5
Parking should be free for residents and or military/veterans. The hotel's already making money from visitors. I only gave 4 stars because the rooms are now dated.
- 5/5
*Parking was great when not in peak periods. *Room was clean. *Carolyn at Check-in was knowledgeable, friendly and professional. *Ms. Toyota at the ICE! Guest Services booth as an excellent resource. She was friendly and eager to help us answer our questions.
- 5/5
Amazing to visit a Christmas time
- 3/5
The rooms it’s ok no clean enough but still good
- 5/5
Nice
- 5/5
Beautiful hotel decorated nicely for Christmas. The hotel is conveniently located close to downtown (Main Street) for shopping, bars and other restaurants. The Gaylord had Santa, Gingerbread house making station and the ICE show for those with children. Parking at the hotel is very expensive at $29 a day.
- 5/5
We had a great experience at the Gaylord. We stayed in the Hill country tower. The rooms had nice amenities and refrigerators. The staff was very nice and accommodating even with tons of people everywhere.
- 5/5
Parking easy and straight forward
- 4/5
Atmosphere for this time of year. Friendly staff.
- 4/5
Everything went well but the Starbucks in the lobby needs a lot of work when it comes to customer service
- 5/5
Friendliest staff ever! Every single person that worked there no matter their position was amazing! The resort is beautiful and the kids asked if we could make it an annual trip. We loved all the activities for the kids, truly brings the Christmas magic!
- 4/5
Decorations were breathtaking. Staff were kind and helpful.

- 5/5
Everything was quite above and beyond!
- 5/5
Loved the decorations, the staff were very attentive and knowledgeable. Enjoyed they put the customers staying at the hotel first in line for restaurants and the activities. Cannot wait till next visit!
- 4/5
The room was clean, the staff was efficient. They told us we would be charged for one day parking, but they charged us 139.95 for the stay. Unsure what this was for since parking was 29.00
- 5/5

Staff was curteous and the room was quiet, conducive for sleep
- 5/5
clean room, nice decorations, close the elevator.

- 5/5
Amazing stay
- 5/5
Everything was perfect. I was crowed but the room were very quiet.
- 3/5
It’s a beautiful place and I think it was just really busy. Our check in was 4pm and we stood in line for 30 minutes only to be told our room wasn’t ready. We then got a text at 430 saying it was ready and had to stand in line for another 30 minutes. The room was wonderful and clean but the fire alarm flashed all night. I think I would have a better experience if I would go for more than one night and if we did more research to know what’s all going on so it won’t be so busy.
- 5/5
Very nice
- 3/5
I stayed on a Sunday evening, wrapping up a fun weekend vacation before an early flight out of DFW. Unfortunately, the on-site restaurants and nightlife I was looking forward to were closed, which was a major letdown. I specifically chose the Gaylord as a final stop to enjoy one last evening of dining and atmosphere, but ended up driving 15 minutes to an offsite steakhouse instead - which, ironically, turned out to be one of the highlights. The rooms, while clean, felt dated and in need of modernization. For a resort of this scale and cost, I expected more comfort and polish. It’s a solid property with potential, but the value proposition just didn’t land for me.
- 5/5
Okay
- 5/5
room upgrade, attentiveness of front desk, & beautiful clean room
- 2/5
Beautiful common area. But the water heater didn’t work so I never had warm water to shower. And they were doing construction the whole time I get repairs and additions need to happen but they started work at 650 am and didn’t finish until 6 pm every day. I asked to be moved but they couldn’t. Never got an answer on the water heater.
- 5/5
Staff was very courteous.
- 5/5
Perfect time and place to spend it! Magical
- 5/5
Great time and lots to do!
- 4/5
Hotel is located in a slow pace and quiet area. Things shut down pretty early but the hotel is very pretty inside. Rooms are updated and clean, staff was very nice and accommodating.
- 4/5
Nice facility. A little dated.
- 5/5
Nice 3 day weekend loved the area and activities that were close by
- 1/5
Construction at 8am on the floor above us. Horrible experience for an executive suite.
- 4/5
Everything about my conference and leisure activities were excellent. However, as a disabled person the bed was super high. Also, I ordered a scooter off-site and the hotel misplaced it. I spent the entire day with a tiny scooter that belonged to the hotel. But when they located my scooter they switched them out so all is well
- 5/5
fun place
- 1/5
I could not have been more disappointed. I took my girlfriend to stay for her birthday and my previous experiences. Here were wonderful but this time it was awful. The room rate should’ve been deeply discounted because there were so many amenities on the property that were closed. The waterpark was closed. The speakeasy was closed. The nightclub was closed. The hot tub was at least 125° and you couldn’t stay in it. And the worst part, we were awoken at 6:50 AM by construction crew doing work above our room. Why would you rent a room at a luxury hotel when construction is taking place directly above that room? Just a very disappointing stay.
- 5/5
Amazing restaurants!
- 5/5
Good and clean
- 5/5
The hotel is beautiful and the staff was wonderful!!
- 5/5
Beautiful hotel.
- 5/5
Great place to stay with beautiful views of the atrium. Restaurants a bit on the spiny side, but to be expected in such a nice place. The rooms had enough space for a couple but would be a bit cramped for a family of four or more. Only thing we felt missing was a microwave in the room. We would return again, though for a nice upscale place to stay sometime.
- 5/5
large property, good for family get away, good for young kids
- 5/5
This is our second stay and it was just as great as the first. I love how beautiful yet laid back this resort is. The food is always delicious and the staff is so friendly. We plan on making our stay at The Gaylord a yearly tradition. The only I recommend is to check the closure dates for their waterpark. We were sad we didn’t get to go this year because it was closed for the season.
- 5/5
Best place in Texas to stay
- 5/5
Great atrium and atmosphere
- 5/5
Very nice resort.
- 5/5
It was our second time staying here a beautiful hotel
- 4/5
Beautiful huge place. It really helped us getting the App to find our way around.
- 1/5
Unfortunately, it was a disappointment as soon as we walked in the door to check in. The front staff was not very friendly, we waited to check in for about 30 minutes. Once we checked in, we were informed that paradise island was closed during our stay except for The last day of our stay. Parking was expensive and we felt like we were being held hostage. When we walked into our room, it smells very old, and we were unable to cancel our reservation due to booking through Expedia. All of the restaurants closed very early, and there was a lot of walking involved. The pool was definitely the best part of our stay. Would not recommend and will not be going back. It is unfortunate, we were really excited about the mother daughter trip.
- 3/5
Safe never worked in room. Requested it to be repaired two times through the front desk. It was never done. Had to carry with me property I ordinarily would lock in the room safe.
- 5/5
I believe the waiter that served us was Julio from Elsavador was Excellent , so much so that we ate at the steakhouse twice. He was awesome. Funny knowledgeable, and very professional.
- 4/5
!
- 5/5
Great service!!!
- 5/5
Big pretty
- 2/5
The resturant we wanted suddenly cancelled our reservation. Had to eat in a lesser restaurant. No steak available. Too late to go to another hotel. Valet took more than 20 minutes to get ticket. Check in over an hour in line. Checkout over 30 minutes. Celebrating 20th anniversary and was not compensated. At all
- 5/5
Good customer service
- 5/5
Aweome
- 2/5
When we arrived at 5:30pm for our party of 4 they said they didn’t have any 2 queen rooms available. We were forced into a small king room with 2 rollaways. Because the size of the room was small, there was no room in the rollaway that was between the bed and tv, so we were having to crawl over each other in the night. That the facility thought this was acceptable was shocking.
- 5/5
This property was a joy from check in to check out. It was quick, efficient, and the staff were friendly. We were greeted kindly from various staff members. We enjoyed the Universal DC light exhibit, water park, restaurants and more! I traveled with my adult daughter and grandson. I will definitely visit again!

The 1
- 5/5
Great facility, great staff, overall excellent experience.
- 2/5
The check-in process was horrible from the moment we pulled up to valet. First the valet employee had a frown on her face and appeared to not want to be there. She did not help us unload our luggage from the vehicle to the luggage cart. She was happy to stand there and watch us. Once we got into the building, the check-in line was literally 40-50 deep. It's obviously a busy place, no problem so we thought. We figured it would be efficient like Las Vegas. WRONG! We stood in line for almost an hour to check-in. Horrible throughput. It was about 3:00 in the afternoon. We chalked it up to perhaps a bad day and not enough people to check-in, but that seemed to be the theme everyday we walked by the check-in area. Like I stated, our room rate was $337/night in the vineyard tower. The room was clean but very small. I went down to the desk everyday for an upgrade but was told it was too busy and to come back the next day to see if there were cancellations. After three days of waiting in line for more than 30 minutes, gave up on that idea. The water park area was not fun on Saturday and Sunday due to the fact that there were too many people and wild kids not behaving. Can't say we will ever book there again due to throughput and rude staff we encountered.
- 5/5
More disable areas would be great.
- 5/5
It is wonderful

Walls are paper thin. We had a screeming baby in a room next to ours all night. Obviously, the screaming baby isn't the hotel's fault but the paper-thin walls are. It was a decent stay; just way too expensive. The Gaylord is a great place if your attending a convention. Other than that, and the waterpark, not a lot to do but walk around a massive place. If you want to shop for toys, clothes, and house goods, well, then this may be a resort, but other than that, what does it offer?! The water park is great. It made the stay enjoyable. However, since we checked out, I parked at the water park only to be told I couldn't park there and I'd have to go back to the Gaylord, pay for a full day of parking there, and then shuttle back to the park. Fine. This is what I did. Wasn't a big deal until I found out that plenty other families parked at the water park. Just way too expensive for what you get, which isn't much unless you're enamored with large places. Oh, the property art is nice.

This was an excellent vacation for us. We enjoyed the water park and its services. The staff was very responsive to our request and very professional.
- 5/5
Very nice large hotel.
- 5/5
Waterpark was a hit with the kiddos!
- 2/5
The property is beautiful, they over charged us, the resturant was average ,expensive, and extermely under staffed. The watter park is for small children not teens, there is nothing fo teens to do, pool is small and boring, food over priced, I could go on and on for what we were charged.

Shower head. Bedroom phone did not work. Check in staff, Meg, amazing and kind. Man directing people at water park area was rude! Other guests agreed. Valet left a lot to be desired. Would not valet here again. They need more help. Isaac at valet was rude beyond measure on my day of check out. My teenagers were even quite shook as we drove away. It put a bad taste as we left an otherwise fun stay.

My child woke up with a high fever and they would not even agree to any refund or reschedule fee. I’ll book elsewhere for our trip next time.

Unique experience.
- 4/5
Expensive. Too much walking for elderly.
- 5/5
Such an amazing experience. We will definitely be back!
- 4/5
I didn’t appreciate paying twice for parking, and all the extra charges I was billed when I returned home. We paid for everything in cash except one night of room service. Details of these charges would have been appreciated
- 5/5
It was an amazing relaxing experience
- 5/5
Worth every cent, it was an exquisite evening
- 5/5
Only thing we didn't get to enjoy was the pool due to projected rain.
- 4/5
Everything clean good service a lot activities good restaurants
- 5/5
Loved our stay. Great restaurants and the kids had a blast at the water park and enjoyed all the fun sites at the hotel.
- 4/5
None of them were bad enough to ruin the trip by any means, but it was noticeable. My kids enjoyed great wolf lodge much more, but the Gaylord is b

Service at the riverwalk cantina was not good. Staff was unfriendly. Waited over 30 minutes for a ride back from the dc experience. It was so hot. My daughter got sick. I paid over 400$ for one night. Doesn't feel worth it

Property was excellent everything was a little too pricey but other than that it was very good.
- 5/5
I always love my stay ..1st tine taking my little grandchildren..at which they were blown away by everything...but the outdoor pool could use a safety rope to notify the people were the 3ft ends-heading to the deep end...just a suggestion
- 5/5
Everything was well kept and everyone was very friendly and helpful. Really cool place
- 5/5
Very busy resort with a large convention, so restaurants were full, but that would have been our only inconvenience.
- 3/5
Great hotel but very busy.
- 5/5
Had the best time
- 5/5
Great atmosphere and customer service!
- 4/5
Club and water park not fully available. It would be good to notify before booking or offer some sort of refund to those who planned to enjoy these facilities
- 5/5
Absolutely beautiful place
- 5/5
Room needed a little more attention to detail. Tub/shower didnt operate quite right but overall a good experience even with a large 4th of July crowd.
- 3/5
It was a super nice hotel but extremely expensive to do any activity on the property. We had six people and two children under 4. It was $400+ to eat breakfast at the buffet every morning. I had allergies and a 24 pack of Benadryl was $18. Just be prepared to spend lots of money. It's supposedly super hero summer but you had to pay extra money to do any activities with the actual super heros. I thought we would be able to see the around the hotel but only if you paid for a private event. It was disappointing. If was fun but we will never go back.
- 4/5
Smelled terrible like mildew and smoke ,. I complained and they sent some one to Sanitize the room it didn’t help any . Woke up the next morning with severe allergies red itchy eyes . Was very un happy with the room after paying $569 for one night never again

The valet service was very slow and backed up, we ended up rolling the luggage cart to our room. The check in process took over 30 minutes in line waiting. I had paid for early check in at 11:00, by the time we got to our room it was 12:30. Then the front desk had no details on the 4th celebration, held at the hotel. The atrium was not decorated for the 4th, no flags, no banners, nothing. The view from the room was an awning, awful. The 4th celebration was horribly run, no process to separate the VIP entrance from the general admission attendees. The VIP tables were to the side of the band so no view of the band. The water park was nice and clean, the service was good. The price for the cabanas was way too high.
- 2/5
Over charged me on parking still haven’t got back to me
- 4/5
Property was cleaned and well maintained.
- 3/5
The rooms need remodeling. They’re pretty dated and don’t feel clean. The balconies are a joke and are so small that you cannot sit out on them. The restaurants are a tourist trap and cost too much and are of poor quality.
- 1/5
Paid $400 for the smallest cabana for 2 people. The cushions on the lounge chair were extremely dirty. You couldn't bring out the chairs to tan and there were no available chairs outside f cabana. So we were stuck inside and not able to relax and tan. Many ants. Definitely not worth the price. Bugs in room. The Mexican Cantina's fajitas and chicken enchiladas were terrible even after we sent them back. Not god flavor and fajitas cold but rice etc. was hot even after waiting a long time for the food. We didn't even take the left overs which was 90% of food.. Service was extremely slow. The Texas Station serviced us undercooked fish in the fish and chips order. Trees and plants very nice but this time not a good experience at the Gaylord. Not sure we will return. Spent well over $1,500 for 3 nights even with Marriot Bonvoy points used.
- 5/5
Excellent service and good staff
- 5/5
It was a great stay. Check in seemed a little slow but it was super busy since it was a holiday weekend, but I know everyone at the check in desk was doing their best. Other than that it was a great stay.

Gaylord Hotels are by far the best Resort hotel I’ve been to. Everything you’d want under one roof! Though it’s luxury at every turn, it’s still affordable and we keep coming back!
- 5/5
Amazing place! Beautiful landscaping, and it is all climate-controlled. Amazing food! Everything we had was amazing! The entire resort was just a great place to relax and destress. The water parks and pools were all very clean. We will be returning!!
- 5/5
Beautiful resort! 10/10 worth the money
- 5/5
Clean hotel. Always like staying here.

Everything is super slow, under staffed and over priced. This place is dated and feels old.

This place is huge! So much to see at the property. Had a great time!
- 5/5
Easy check- in and great amendment
- 3/5
The walk from the self parking to the lobby is inconvenient. A little shittle would be nice. Checking in on the bonvoy site wasn't available and it took 45 mins of waiting in line to complete check in. The staff were great.

Our check-in with Cristian was smooth and welcoming he took the time to thoughtfully walk us through the resort’s layout and upcoming shows, setting the tone for a great visit. Xander, our bellboy, was extremely courteous and helpful with our luggage. At Texas Station, hostesses Michelle and Estefania greeted us with warmth, and our server Joanie was truly exceptional: attentive, kind, and quick to fulfill every request. At Zeppole, Savana and Jack provided impeccable service, making our dining experience especially enjoyable. The Riverwalk Cantina deserves a special mention: Angelica Ramirez prepared a beautiful platter to celebrate a birthday, and Delia, our waitress, was lovely to chat with. Manager Trina was gracious and ensured everything ran smoothly. Stacey at Paradise Springs was another standout she remembered us from the day before and made a wonderful connection that really elevated our experience. Dinner at Old Hickory Steakhouse was a highlight. Zeke provided top-tier service, and the desserts: especially the green apple financiers and the baked Alaska with vanilla, strawberry, and pistachio ice cream were phenomenal. Breakfast at the Riverwalk Cantina was good, but the manager’s harsh handling of kids near a superhero appearance felt out of place. A more thoughtful approach would’ve matched the resort’s otherwise excellent hosp

It was ok. But everything else was extra expensive. We stayed in the hotel for 2 nights and we had to pay the parking. We had to pay extra for the resort. No free entertainments, no shows, not a lot for kids to do except for the swimming pool that we had to pay for, I thought it would be included in the hotel price. No free breakfast. Yes. This is the last. I was hoping I would get the moneys worth that I paid for.
- 4/5
The room had no view and really far from everything - looks like they gave their least favorite room

The Stake house was amazing but service was even better thanks to
- 2/5
Very nice and safe, however, absolutely overpriced and they nickel and dime everything. Breakfast for myself and my two kids was $100!!!
- 3/5
The hotel was amazing I booked it but their website didn’t say the resort was closed so I feel like I just payed for an overprice hotel. Also keep in mind you have to pay daily to park.

Great place
- 3/5
Beautiful property and clean basic rooms. Pool area was very small and way too noisy. Unable to even have a conversation with the person sitting next to me. The bar was also lacking. Only serving low quality drinks. Won't stay again.
- 5/5
Easy self parking, very efficient check in, Hotel has lots of dining options and access to Paradise Springs waterpark, which the kids always enjoy!! We come here every year and we love it!
- 4/5
Great location. Wish we would have come when waterpark was open. Not much for kids to do otherwise
