Hyatt Place Dallas/Grapevine

We enjoyed our stay at the property. It was well maintained and the staff was very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed the convenient and free breakfast. This location was walking distance to restaurants and a full Mall. We also had easy access to freeways for our daily sightseeing.

Very disappointed for being a Hyatt! I expect way better service and room cleanliness. Had to change room 3 times due to refrigerator not working, broken door handles, rotten wood in the rooms and peeling of pain. The breakfast area had water dripping near food.

This hotel was great. It was a really good location close to the gaylord property. Also, close to the mall and plenty of food options. I really liked the little lake that's close by, great place to take a walk. The gym was run down a bit and some of the equipment needs to be revamped but overall, it was great.

Second year I came here on family vacation and it was a great time both times. No complaints.

Do NOT stay in room 125. Directly across from both the ice machine and the door to the stairwell and right next to an entrance/exit door. I imagine this is what it’s like to live in a frat house or possibly a war zone because the noise goes on ALL NIGHT LONG.

The location is great for the Grapevine area, very close to the Mall and across the street from the DFW Hilton Conference Center. My room was very clean and spacious. However, I found the staff to be indifferent. For example, I'd frequently see them in the hallways and they'd rarely return "hello" or smile. The property itself is aging and could use a remodel. But overall it's a fine stay for Grapevine.

The experience was okay, the property was just old and you can tell some major reneovations need to take place. It was tolerable, but the experience did not match the pictures that were presented online.

I cannot say enough about how much I enjoyed my stay. A hotel chain with a local BNB vibe. The staff went over and beyond to ensure I was comfortable and enjoying my accommodations. Everyone from the shuttle drivers to the front desk and house keeping staff. Truly a great experience. The only downside was the pool was out of service. But everything else was top tier

Breakfast was quite nice. One of the two lifts was not working during our stay. Best feature being a short walk to the factory outlets across the road.

They appeared to be having some sort of sewage type issue bubbling up next to the walk when we left. I informed the attendant and they said they'd send a message to their manager on Monday without even taking a look. Overall it was fine but it left a lot to be desired

The beds and sofa have a lot of bedbugs, and everyone has bites. The front desk didn't inform us that the pool is under maintenance. Kids, so devastating.

They seem to be understaffed. My room was cleaned 3 times and yet, there was still small pieces of paper on the floor next to my bed. I wondered how thoroughly they vacuumed. The concierge on my fist day seemed to be too distracted to assist a pal of mine and another day, a different concierge seemed a bit apathetic. Everybody has a bad day. I don't think it was common behavior there.

Overall a good stay, staff were very helpful, room was overall very clean. The only thing that felt unclean was the ceiling it was covered with dust clumps from the air-conditioner blowing on it. Some of the furniture showed it getting worn out, but they kept everything clean. Breakfast has a great selection early in the morning, but on the later end of breakfast it didn't seem they refreshed their breakfast supply.

Breakfast was ok, but they do serve a hot meal. I didn’t care for the atmosphere. I didn’t see a lot of families there. It seemed to have been more ppl on business staying there. Also while trying to swim at night, the lights wouldn’t come on, but staff did try to assist, but my kids couldn’t swim like they wanted to. Also, I had bought a meal from Salt Grass in my room for my children and I, when we came back in the room later, the food had been thrown away as housekeeping threw away an expensive meal!! I would NOT recommend this hotel for families or otherwise. It was a no for me!

The location is excellent go shopping at Grapevine Mills and the hotel isn’t too far from the interstate access. The airplanes flying over did not bother me but the noise made it hard for my husband to sleep. Also, the breakfast was fine but I’ve been to other hotel chains that offered more selection, especially for kids.

The Hotel was just fine for us. The breakfast was slow on replenishing things like eggs. Our room had a hide a bed which was very uncomfortable and the water at first was black running out of the pipes, after running for a bit it cleared up. Other than that it was fine.

The hotel was ok, it served its purpose, it was in a nice area and felt safe. The hotel it self was very outdated and really needs to be updated, the furniture is really old and scratched up, the beds very uncomfortable, the flooring pretty worn and the elevator was a little noisy. This hotel seems to be very well for people who are working and passing thru, but it’s not very family oriented. A big thing for me when paying for a hotel that includes breakfast and the hotel serves the same items for three days straight is extremely upsetting.

Friendly and welcoming staff., great location, clean rooms, the room was larger than we expected, parking lot is well lit. We have stayed here 3 or 4 times before. We didn’t care for the breakfast. They didn’t offer a good selection at all. That was very disappointing. It was runny scrambled eggs, sausage patties, biscuits, gravy. Normally places that offer free breakfast have a waffle make or even pancakes. We door dashed our breakfast. The rooms do not have microwaves.

The room was clean, fresh, had everything we needed, and was quiet. Staff told us the hotel was sold out but we never heard any noise. We had no issues with our room, check in or check out. Staff even offered my kids a free snack since our room wasn't ready yet. We've stayed here a few times over the years and always have a positive experience.

The hotel smelled of humidity, feet, and deoderizer. The toilet got clogged the first night. The sheets had blood stains. Our room service arrived around 4PM the next day. By that time, we had already made it back to the hotel. We were ready to rest. But, unfortunately we had to wait. At check out, the cleaning service came at 10AM. Breakfast was subpar to say the least. There was no waffle maker. There was no microwave in the room. Overall, it was a disappointing experience. The only positive experience was customer service by Row. You couldn't pay me to stay here again.

The front desk employees were not as kind. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. The one elevator was probably my least favorite thing about the stay but overall it was an okay hotel.

Room was great. Elevator not working half the time. Breakfast cold or ran out... moldy bagels served. Jake (front counter) was wonderful and was accommodating. Most breakfast crew did not speak English, so when they were told about problems, they just nodded and said "It's okay."

This hotel is old. Our bathroom door was falling apart. Very outdated. We were not greeted by the clerk. He just came to the computer started typing, eventually asked for our name.

1 night stay and very bad experience! Rooms outdated and worst part was only 1 elevator available of the 2 on site and it stopped working ! We had to bring 6 suitcases downstairs by the stairs! Backpain and now bruises on my legs because my suitcases were 50 lbs. Guests going up the stairs with breakfast, orange juice spilled all over the stairs. Lady on front desk didn't know what to say or do...just "sorry". Next disappointment was when they told us there was NO SHUTTLE available because there was no driver! We booked this hotel because of shuttle service to the Airport! They told me manager "Alma" was going to call us to reimburse our Uber ($40) and after 8 hours still no call. I would like a reimbursement for the night spent! Don't stay here!!

The beds in the room were fine. That's all. There wasn't anything else good. The room, divided into two zones, didn't have a single closet to put my things in. The toilet was clogged, and the receptionist suggested I clean it myself and gave me the necessary tools. Then the faucet in the sink broke. I fixed it myself. For two days out of nine, we didn't get any cleaning or towel changes. Is that enough?

I was told the airport shuttle would come in 40 minutes so I waited. It never arrived. Now after waiting for 30 minutes more I was told it’ll be another 30 minutes. The communication has been awful and I’m exhausted.

We were informed upon checking we had only one bed in place of the 2 beds we booked and because we booked through a 3 rd party site they were unable to further help us. Also when we went in the room it was not clean and there is a substantial amount of blood on the curtains. This just does not make me want to book here again. Front desk service and housekeeping obviously is subpar regardless how the room was booked, it is still Hyatt we are staying at.

The double bed was too short for me (I‘m 5'5"tall). My feet hung off the end, so I had to sleep curled up. Breakfast had only eggs and fried potatoes. Service was slow — I waited over 5 minutes with no help. no hot cereal and waffles. a very disappointing experience

However, when we got to our room and settled in for the night, we realized our bed was wet. As though someone had poured water on the mattress. At first, I was understanding as they could have simply tried to clean the mattress and it didn't dry. I called the front desk and requested a different room, to which I was promptly answered with a "No, we are over booked as it is and have no more rooms." When I asked to speak with the night manager, I was told I would have to go downstairs to the desk. I complied with the request. The night manager stated they would have to actually see the bed. So, back upstairs we went. They examined the bed and stated they had no clue why the bed was wet or what it was. They then confirmed, very dismissively, that there were no other rooms available. They brought clean bedding, plopped it down on the bed and said they had other people to take care of. I slept on the couch bed. No offer of restitution. I will not be returning to this hotel.

The breakfast was okay, the fresh berries were gone by the time I got there, and there was no bacon. The sausage was good, but not great. English Muffin was a little stale. No water in the lobby. Which to me is a big deal. Then the water machine in the fitness center didn't work either. There are ice machines with filtered water, but they were not as conveniently located. I had to take the stairs to get to them.

The staff was very friendly and the room was clean. The hotel is within walking distance to the Grapevine Mall-which provided hours of shopping for our teenage daughters. MeowWolf, LegoLand and SeaLife Aquarium are also in the mall, all were amazingly fun!

The room was dirty when we came. After staying one night, the cleaning people didn’t even come to the room to clean. We have to request for towels. I just wasn’t impressed and did not accommodate.

We had a great stay! The complimentary shuttle service within 5 miles is a really nice touch and made getting around super convenient. The rooms were very clean, and the staff provided excellent service throughout our visit. The only area that could use improvement is the breakfast selection — it would be great to see a bit more variety and quality. Overall, a wonderful experience and would definitely stay again!

Room was comfortable and spacious. Toilet needs repairing as it runs if you dont pop the lever back up. Air conditioning struggled to keep up but the room wasnt uncomfortably warm.

The elevators were downright terrifying with the noises, felt certain the left one would fail and kill us 😬. The breakfast was the worst ive ever had in any hotel, very few options and not tasty at all. All the rooms with 2 beds were only "double" beds, no queen's and they were very short. Our feet hung off the ends at nights Overall it felt like they slapped some paint on a very old and dilapidated building to try to make it nice

The building is a little shabby. Letters on the big sign are burned out. Sink and tub drains don't close. The closet door doesn't close. The toilet runs. Elevator doors squeeeak. Stuff like that. But everything was clean and the staff was helpful and friendly.

The furniture is room is a little banged up… tear in couch cushion. TV was not working ( someone prior to my stay must have messed with input source) and remote needed batteries. Also toilet appeared to be leaking so had to use towels around the base of toilet to soak up water. I was told to leave them there and housekeeping would get them upon my checkout.!!! But aside from that it was decent. Great beds, nice linens… friendly staff and nice little bar area with a small assortment of hot food. Breakfast good too!

Hyatt Place Dallas/Grapevine is our go-to hotel when we are in the area. The parking is safe, the airport shuttle bus is on-time and efficient, and the rooms are very nice including comfortable beds and the additional of a living room space and desk area is handy.

It was a quick stay. I e machine were broken. The carpet was damp in our room. The ac wasn’t as cold as it should have been. Woke up at 3 am sweating to death. The shower was Luke warm and very low pressure. The girl who checked us out in the morning I had to wake up. She was sleeping at the desk. I wouldn’t recommend staying here. There are other that are close by that are better choices.

My husband and I as well as two other couples stated that the hotel for the wine fest in Grapevine. This location was chosen due to his proximity to the festivities. Upon arrival, I was greeted by Perry, who was very informative and was great.. when I went to my room I was not pleased with the condition of the carpet, which had several spots all over it as well as the bathroom, the ceiling and the noise associated with my AC unit. Also, my remote control did not have any batteries in it? I had to call downstairs and was told that no one could bring them up because they were the only person on duty but when I called, no one answered I had to call the one 800 number in order to get in contact with someone at the front desk overall the room was not in the best conditions for occupancy. I felt like it had not been cleaned, and that there were maintenance issues that could have been addressed more readily for the state of the room. I was not pleased and will not stay at this location again. There was another young lady at the front desk, mid day Saturday and early night who would not greet us when we walked in and was very dry when we would ask for assistance definitely some more customer service training needed for her.

The pool was a great way to cool off in this Dallas heat and the room was cool and quiet - no plane noise whatsoever. Desk area and lounge area are really great extra benefits. As is the shuttle bus. Thanks for everything.

We ordered a double bed room and even called on the phone and confirmed about a week beforehand and they gave our room away. We had myself, my husband and my daughter squeezed into a king bed. Although they did upgrade our room when they saw what they did, it still made our stay uncomfortable. Service desk guy was nice and gave my daughter complimentary candy to try and make up for it. I get it, he tried because he felt bad. Just wish there was a better system in place to prevent this from happening.

I hope you will take immediate steps to train staff to ensure polite and professional behavior towards all guests. and provide accurate information regarding the availability of airport pickup. This being said I would also like to acknowledge the respectful and courteous service I received from the staff at checkout, which was very polite and much appreciated.

I enjoyed being able to take long walks around the area, and to be able to walk to the mall. Staff were all very kind and thoughtful.

Let's get it out of the way, our stay was not terrible, just your typical 2 night weekend stay with the family. Hotels are plentiful and even within the same brand hotels are different. But little things would probably have us look elsewhere, room refrigerator didn't work, personally me and the wife have back pain issues and the bed mattress was too firm for us, and low water pressure for the shower.

Property would’ve received more stars, but the facility is nice. The pool is nice. Service is wonderful, but the rooms are definitely a little dated. The lighting in the rooms is really terrible especially for getting ready and using the bathroom.. the bathroom is severely dated, and there was mold in the shower and the ceiling exhaust didn’t work and it was quite old.

While the check-in process was pretty smooth, the rooms were spacious and the beds were comfortable, the hotel does need some upgrading. Our first room had a leak in the ceiling so the staff took swift action to get us changed. But the property can be updated a bit more as the first bathroom we were in had cracked tiles and some outdated furniture. The spacious rooms help make up for it.

They we're very kind and gave me an early check-in has my flight got in early. My room was clean and large. The bed was very comfortable and had plenty of pillows that were new. There was plenty of seating and plenty of towels. The breakfast was good and the option to eat at the bar was also a good option although I did not utilize that.

Booked and paid for a room with double beds and a tub and when I checked in, they changed me to a king and sofa bed with a shower only. My 15 year old son and my husband had to take turns sleeping on a very uncomfortable sofa bed.

We stayed 3 nights and the room was spacious kinda stuffy but it worked for us. The elevators are old and only one worked most of the time. I will complain about breakfast when my mother and my daughter's went down there wasn't much options and one morning they had a nude tv show on the TV & we couldn't have breakfast cause no one changed the channel and we have kids

Beds, bathroom and room itself was very small. I was disappointed there weren’t any balconies but we stayed just on a layover so it was doable. Not something I would book for an actual vacation but for a few hours to sleep it was ok

The property was undergoing renovations at the time of my stay. Other than a few inconveniences the area was great, has a free airport shuttle and the grapevine mall is very close. The rooms were very clean and pretty comfortable.

It was a very nice room and we liked how it had a little sitting area. We will definitely stay at a Hyatt Place again. The desk people were extremely friendly and helpful.

This hotel is not what it used to be. The rooms had stains on the couches and the carpet. The hotel looks rundown.

The space is really big, even the sofa had a pull out bed. Love that they offer free breakfast & shuffles to/from the airport. Some issue that they can improve on is have more worker. I had requested for new towel to take a shower and they told me to come down stairs to come pick them up. Which I was fine with it because I needed them, come to found out they do not any bath towel when I came all the way down. So the worker gave us hand towel to take a shower with. I was so disappointed in this service. The next day, I thought about letting go of the issue and went out to shop when coming back later that day my room was not even clean, trash was not empty, bed was not changed. Then my last day, one of the elevator was broken, had to end up using only 1 side. This is my last time using this hotel.

Breakfast empty for 3 days no fruit, property very damaged, corridor hanging wires all over the place, dated, old wall paper and dim light thought air conditioner doesn’t work properly many other details do not recommend this place

Great service

The check in and out was fast. The staff we encountered were friendly. Our room was clean and comfortable. Plenty of amenities and soft beds. There was plenty of space for my family. Breakfast was ok, it was hot and there were different options to choose from. We really enjoyed the availability of snack and drink items. The only minor issue was the one working elevator as the place was busy. Everything else was great. We would definitely stay here again.

If you want to feel like you are staying at a 3rd world country, this is for you. This hotel is the definition of terrible. No hot water. The elevator doesn’t work. The breakfast is disgusting. The hotel is ugly and electric cords hanging everywhere. Very unsafe. I do not recommend this hotel to anyone!!

The room itself was nice and roomy. Bed was comfortable. Shade on window was ripped. In the hallway on 5th floor we noticed exposed wiring. Very tacky. Eggs and potatoes were not good.

First of all they gave us a handicap room and it was very oddly shaped. Sink was in the bedroom area. The soap was used and put back in the cover it came from. Just not very clean but it was tolerable.

The entire staffs were friendly and attentive!

Quick overnight after delayed flights. The young lady who checked us in was an absolute Rockstar. It was vlean and quiet and the shuttle was on time and easy to get back to the airport to get our rental. Would stay here again.

I found a cockroach in my room the moment I walked in. I couldn't sleep because the air conditioning unit was so loud it sounded like a truck was inside the room. The nightstand lamp never turned off, so I had to loosen the bulb. I didn't leave because I was coming off a very long flight from China and was too tired to look for another hotel. What I was told was to book directly through Hyatt's website next time. I didn't know that bookings made through Expedia are low-class. And I'd never seen a Hyatt hotel in such poor condition.

There was a roach around breakfast and a leak from the ceiling in the breakfast area

I’m not usually one to complain but I feel that I need to give a heads up to others coming to stay at Hyatt in Grapevine. We saw giant (and I do mean giant!) cockroaches 4 separate times during our 3 night stay: 1 in our room, 1 by the elevator, 1 close to the dining area, and 1 by the ice machines. 3 of those times were during the day. Also, we were originally put on the 6th floor (top floor) and our room was very hot. The air conditioner couldn’t cool it down and we were sweating so we were moved to the 3rd floor. It was better but still felt a little warm. It seemed the air conditioners struggled to cool. We had other smaller complaints but those I can overlook. During check out, the guy that helped us was very nice and did try to make things better by removing the cost for one of our nights. Unfortunately, I won’t be returning to this hotel.

Our stay was great, room was clean, staff was friendly. Quick and easy check in and out.
