    The only positive aspect was the convenient location. Otherwise, the room did not meet basic cleanliness expectations. Upon arrival, we found leftover food in both the oven and refrigerator, along with what appeared to be old blood stains on the sheets and pillowcase. Because we arrived exhausted, I covered the stained areas with a towel and addressed the issue the next morning. We requested fresh bedding and wanted documentation since the motel’s policy states guests may lose their $100 deposit for soiled bedding. We were told fresh sheets would be brought, but after following up ourselves, we were informed housekeeping found nothing wrong and our request was denied. Later, the front desk employee quietly helped us receive fresh towels despite saying he was not supposed to. The issues continued after checkout. We were told the $100 security deposit would be refunded within approximately two hours, but only $35 was returned and the remaining balance had still not been received days later. My boyfriend and I always make an effort to leave rooms in better condition than we find them, which made this experience even more frustrating. Overall, the cleanliness, communication, and deposit handling were disappointing. We will not be returning.

    The staff was very friendly The room was not swept or mopped... sticky floor and stains everywhere. The bed was also comically tall so it was very difficult for me to get into to sleep. I'm under 5ft tall so I really struggled i ended up using a chair to boost myself up.

    The front desk staff was always so friendly and helpful. We got one of the suites and it was very roomy. The location is great. Close to everything. The kitchen is bare meaning you have to bring everything yourself. I believe you can buy your own pots, pans and utensils for $40 there. The beds were not that comfortable. The pullout couch mattress was literally springs over some cover.

    Roaches, and super old towels in the bathroom. They charged me $30 saying that I ruined a towel that was so old you can see through the fibers. The towel had been washed and they only stain on the towel was a good stain. But instead of washing the old ass nasty towel, they charged me $30 which was absolute bullshit

    When I walked in the room, I was pleasantly surprised. I love the hardwood floors that keeps smells down. I love the bathroom, countertops and tubs with the granite rough finish. I think it gives it a nicer look for this type of hotel. The bed was high up above the floor, which I liked, and so very comfortable I did not take advantage of the other amenities on site. I will say that the front desk did not provide me with information about pots pans, utilities, etc.. And I know I would have brought my own pots and pans. Sometimes these type of hotels will let you rent or buy a pot set, but nothing was alluded to on my end about buying or renting anything for the kitchen area.

    They gave my room away before I even got there and failed to inform me. On top of that I didn’t get a refund for this. I HIGHLY recommend do not choose this place for any reason because that is not a place should conduct business.

    Everything was great! The room was very spacious. You can't beat having a full kitchen in your room for the price that you pay, it was very clean, and the bed was super comfy. I've paid way more for way less. If I ever have to book another stay in Greensboro, I will stay here again.

    No stove was in bad shape microwave and table nasty wasn't clean um been clean by same dirty rage was use in the bathroom room i guess smeared wape down .The House Keeping Needs Learn How to clean right and retraining on how to clean they don't care its got to change Just little more care thats . Pulse people on top of u in these rooms got stop stomp heavy letting kids running backwards and forward cross the room floor its and a knowing sound . So with all that been said i Myself had to go and bye cleaning supplies to do the hotel suite i was staying in right um i sent pictures of it before i did anything and after i finish it So now its Right on point feels clean fresh and Looks Great Iam Happy See Yall Keep Staff right on cleaning U keep people coming . O i almost forgot light on stove wasn't working i got light bulb. For it still not working .Just remember just the Small things can make a big Difference Ok trust Me 👌

    States that I damaged towel and took some of deposit. I had no damaged towel, I just got fresh towels day before and new towel I used once and they say those same new towel I damaged and I know I did not. Then there no recourse they just take money from bogus room inspection. Left my room and towels in good conditions and did not stain or damage a towel. Beware of this hotel and their inspection process because they got it wrong and taking money from customers wrongfully

    Room was roomie and clean. Only by stays end did I observe one roach but no big deal. Found the disability room I stayed in had a very narrow, limiting bathtub, which made using the shower chair I brought with me uncomfortable to use I brought my own shower chair because I asked if that was supplied by the hotel and the person on the phone said they did not know but would call me back I never received a call back and assumed none would be provided. I believe one should be provided by the hotel for the disability rooms provided

    Someone was in our room while we gone. Left the stove eye on. Unexpected fees and it IS pet friendly so if u have allergies, not the best place to stay. There was a burn in our tub from a previous smoker. Dead bug in bathroom floor but at least it was dead.

    Terrible stay. My rooms A/C wasn't working. They put me on the 3rd floor and there were no elevators so I had to carry hundreds of pounds of work product up to my room by hand. Gun shots going off outside my window, a few times. Felt soooo unsafe. They released me of my stay (mercifully) but had to stay 2 days and they gave me a room on the 2nd floor but charged me $18 more dollars per day. HORRIBLE, WILL NOT COME BACK.

    Had a bad smell walking in, several dirty spots and even small rocks on the ground in the room. No elevator, was told to use the stairs to get to my room on the 3rd floor. I would have not booked this if I had known that. Some of the people staying there looked a bit rough, had I know I would hear dogs parking at all hours I would have not booked this property.

    It wasn’t terrible but I don’t think I would stay here again. First, there’s no elevator and if you’re on the first floor, you have to go to the back of the Motel. There were so many sketchy characters hanging around outside. Maybe homeless people. They were all around especially in the back. They were harmless but, I was alone, so it was a bit concerning. I could smell marijuana in the parking lot. It was the noisiest motel I’ve ever stayed in. Sounded like a herd of Elephants were staying up stairs. The door alarm kept going off, all night. On a cleanliness scale, I would give it a 5. No bad smells. The building is old and definitely needs some attention and upgrades. The Staff was super friendly and helpful. Cost was the reason I stayed for 3 nights.

    The Room was equipped with a kitchen but no dishes or cookware. Had to call down for a remote. SMOKE detector needed a battery, but the front desk person did bring one up along with the remote and fresh sheets for the pull out. The AC unit we had to reset and figure out how to get it working.

    The lady at the front desk was super friendly while checking me in. She even walked around to show me where things were, like the laundry room. The room was immaculate when we came in. It smelled clean, the floors were freshly mopped, surfaces and appliances spotless. All the linens were fresh. We'll definitely stay here again because it's affordable, clean, safe and very close to the AAU basketball venues.

    The location was great—close to shopping centers, restaurants, and public transportation, making it easy to get around. The hotel was also quiet, allowing me to relax and get a good night’s sleep. For an extended stay or a short visit, Hometown Studios provides great value for the price.     Came out to stay close to a job site however the job feel through and because I didn't know until after 11am the first day of the stay I was told they would not refund me for the 2nd day of stay.     My first stay here was absolutely great! Place is not bad and it’s kinda off the beaten path so it’s cool. This time, I literally waited for 45 minutes in the lobby for the check-in! I called the number 5 times and nobody ever answered. Finally someone came and did the check-in! Had to switch rooms because the tv was losing sound (no issue, very nice about that)! Then there was NO HOT WATER!!! They said they were working on it, I figured it would be working by morning, it was not!!! They did waive the $100 deposit but for amenities like HOT WATER, there should’ve been some credit or compensation due to that OFFERED!!! THIS IS SOMETHING THEY SHOULD HAVE SAID UPON ARRIVAL!!!

    We had to wait 35-45 minutes for someone to come to front desk, and it was a good bit of us trying to check in. They didn’t apologize, or try to offer anything off our rooms. There was no hot water in our room at all. Please do better! We noticed in the kitchen there was a dirty spot on the floor leaking from oven to floor.. I will say clean sheets, and bed was soft.

    it was unremarkable. this is an older place that can use some updating. overall it was ok. i was very tired and went straight to bed. if you just need a place to sleep it's fine at a reasonable price. it is a bit hard to find in the dark i circled around the neighborhood a few times before i found it.

    The woman on the desk at night was short with us, when we were asking questions about the payment, pet deposit, and another deposit required above and beyond. We had 2 rooms and they charged the pet deposit for both rooms. "Damage Deposit" I get it, but do not like it. Penalize all for the few. The ladies in the morning were very nice and helped answer my questions. The room was clean, but the bed was ROCK Hard.

    check in person king of rude. got charged an extra $50.00. was NOT happy. hard to find. no signs. we were not sure if it was the right place. very creepy & extremely smelly hallways. my 15 old had a panic attack it was so creepy & smelly & her dad had to come get her & take her home do she missed seeing her new niece in virginia. do not recommend this creepy hotel.

    This location is nothing compared to the Other location in Greensboro. I really looked forward to staying there again and I had a bad experience this time . Both bedrooms pull out couch bed was full of Crumbs , torn mattress covers and discolored mattress . There were no available Pots , pans and utensils to prepare any meals .     It was the worst place I’ve ever stayed ! Filthy inside and out! Not enuf staff! I saw 3 people working in 2 days. The outside was covered in trash as well as hallways and stairs. I ask for first floor for my dog . They told me ok then when I got there they had nothing but 3rd floor. I wouldn’t recommend a homeless person to stay there.

    Apparent gang activity in the parking lot. Was approached by a group of men and detained. Extremely unsafe. Left as soon as possible and booked another hotel.

    The property is filled with construction men, street hustlers, the room was covered in blood, stains on curtains, walls, floors. Furniture holes and rips all over furniture exposing the stuffing which was dirty and the odor will run you to the toilet.

    The entrance was the best part of the hotel which isn’t saying much. There isn’t an elevator. The hallways smelled like cigarettes. The room itself looked ok but the room smelled like smoke and the bed was very uncomfortable. The pillows are very small and flat. I would not recommend this place.

    Condition of the hotel very poor, walls were paper thin you can hear other guests, furniture was in terrible shape in the hotel room, there was something damaged with every piece

    The staff was very nice. There were water issues clearly happening in the lobby. It’s non smoking but people smoke in the building. It smells like stale cigarettes. The room furniture is old and worn. Headboard was not clean. The bedding appeared to be clean and new.

    There were fire ants all over the parking area, and I was bitten and had an allergic reaction. Called the office about it, and they did not care, said it was not there issue or concern.

    The property was old, there is a strong smell of mildew in the hallway, and despite a no smoking policy, my room has a strong cigarette oder. I had to have the windows open most of the time. The closet has NO hangers, none! I wa surprised. The kitchen has NO plates, spoons, pots, or pans, you have to request it so they can bring it to you, but I didn't bother, the appliances were old and I don't want to use it.

    Multiple strands of hair in the sink and in the tub. Room smelled like stale air. Smelled like it hadn’t been clean or deprdpriz I only stayed for a few hours.

    I stayed here some years ago and it was really nice. I stayed one night at the airport location which was beautiful and clean. It was just too far away from my daughter getty to work so we came here. The breezeways smell of urine. There are people making drug transfers in the parking lot. I came in one night of my stay an another guest was just squatting down in from of my room window. I did not feel comfortable even looking out at him to close my shade but he sat there for an hour. The room was ok and most of the outlets did not work, she advised of the pink stained tub but not of the pink hair of the person who dyed their hair. Pink hair was stuck on the side of tub and counter. The cooking unit was hideous so I did not cook. It is very noisy but the bed is comfortable.

    Sonya was Great ,Donna pleasant but the room not only outdated but small. I have stayed with several different properties but I'm not impressed by things here. Shower floors squeaked so much I was afraid i might fall through. Rugs were nasty. If i had of CHECK the room beforehand I would have never stayed....

    The ac smell like someone urine in the vent the whole building smell like smoke. It felt like something was crawling on me the whole night the tv was garbage. The pic didn’t even match the hotel give this experience a 0-in the service she was mean like she had an attitude.

    The deluxe queen room is just like your own studio apartment I didn't feel like I was in a hotel at all and the property was very quiet and the staff was super friendly and not bothersome like some places 8 felt as if I had been there for a good amount of time it was a very comfortable at home feeling!!!!!!!!

    The room i received wasn't cleaned, there was a bio hazard tub in one of the drawers. The tub looked like it was used to store used needles. There were pens & papers left in the nightstand drawer. I was moved to a different room, but that was disappointing.

    No silverware, they did not have the full amenity list if a room wanted it. The bathroom was falling apart, mold around shower, the sink side cabinet was water damaged and falling apart. The carpet in the room felt as if someone has spilled a sugar drink on it, it was so sticky. Supposed to be a smoke-free hotel. Entire hotel smelled like smoke, every room smelled like smoke. Very unpleasant experience.

    Run down, they gave us a room that was already occupied, people were in bed! Horrified, left the hotel immediately and asked for a refund. Still waiting for my credit card to confirm my credit, Orbitz, Please expedite this transaction!

    The lady at the front desk was nice. But the room smelled horrible and gave me a headache within 5 minutes of being in it. The sheet on the fold out couch mattress was dirty and stained. And the mattress had blood stains on it. The baseboard in the living room area had a red stain on it. And also the bathroom was outdated and needed repair. Stains on the sink and bathtub had stuff half chipped off. One of the hand towels was soaking wet and gross. Thoroughly disappointed.

    The room didn’t look bad when we first walked in. Bed was made up, kitchen didn’t look bad, etc. I went to the bathroom and the first thing I see are 3 big live roaches crawling in the tub and around the toilet. We grabbed our things and left immediately

    my stay was exactly what i paid for. delee and kierra (i may be spelling her name wrong) helped me out so much after expedia had already messed up the whole reservation. our room was quiet, comfy & clean. i'd recommend.
