Cons: if you are looking for a quiet place to stay, don’t recommend. Loud during business hours, road/people noise. Popular gelato shop in the court with outside seating, loud. Wood floors in hotel, loud especially stairs. Room doors are loud opening and closing. Old windows with no screens and not sound proof, basically you can here everything if you are in a court facing room (can’t speak for the ) others Neutral: keurig in lobby with coffee tea, water cooler with water and ice, no other amenities really. A bottle of water in the room would be nice. Maybe another trash can other than tiny one in bathroom. Check in is easy with code to front door and room. Paperwork signed on line, there is no front desk or staff to speak to on the property. While convenient seems impersonal. Says to purchase parking permit to park in front lot which I did but never got permit. Luckily vehicle was fine. Not sure worth the extra $12, there is parking in back. Not sure I would stay here again for reasons of noise but just a personal preference.

Clean and new inside

We wanted to use the fridge in the kitchen, but it was locked. We were only there one night so didn’t bother to figure it out.

I had no idea that you had to wait until after 3pm to get a code to be able to get into the front door and your room since there was no person at all inside. I called the phone # on the outside board and that person found the code for me since I did not get any info from expedia until much later. There was not a refrigerator to use.

They had a few spots available . I was lucky to get one. All shops were nearby very cool. I never meet any staff members. I called one on the phone. But no front desk, no contact. Unusual but worked out very smoothly

The room was clean and very comfortable. The location is VERY convenient to downtown Half Moon Bay - right in the middle of some stores. Great for walking to restaurants and shopping. It was very quiet while we were there but I don't know about weekend noise. There is no staff on the premises but they did response to our phone calls to resolve a few minor problems. We paid for parking which was nice for coming and going.

Lovely building, great room and location

The housekeeping staff are super kind, but they are the only staff you'll see if you happen to be there when they are. Owners did not respond to messages when I inquired about alternates for micro fiber sheets (hot and scratchy for me). Neighboring rooms were loud during sleeping hours (quiet time guidelines would be helpful). Overall, great house and location. Loved being in this lovely town and walking to great shopping and eats. Super friendly locals too!

Shower door fell down. Water tasted like plastic.

What a great spot in Half Moon Bay. Many thoughtful touches (tea and coffee with a cute sitting area when you walk in), very clean and beds were very comfortable. Beautifully decorated as well. Will be back!
