Reviews
Guests generally enjoy the clean, comfortable, and conveniently located B&B with friendly staff and nice amenities such as a coffee/tea bar, free wine, and a patio area. However, some guests have issues with noise, bathroom accessibility, and room size.
- Clean and comfortable rooms
- Friendly staff and good service
- Noise issues, particularly from kids and other guests
- Bathroom accessibility and privacy concerns

Beautiful property, lovely staff, very clean
- 5/5
Self service coffee and tea was easily accessible,
- 5/5
This hotel was very cozy, friendly, and clean.
- 5/5
Cute B&B with delicious breakfast.
- 3.5/5
Room was too small.Light filtered through door and windows at night. Very impersonal, no direct contact with a receptionist or any other human being from the inn.It gave us "pandemic" feeling... They serve breakfast at 9am, so if you are like us needing to leave early, you get no breakfast...
- 2.5/5
Location. Broken shower head, glass enclosure too close to the bed. No current information about local area.
- 3/5
Dog friendly Very small room and bed. Had to climb over the end of the bed to get into bed. Bathroom was in the hall not in the room. Wasn’t well insulated so fairly loud and contractors decided to start work a couple doors down at 630 am. Was not advertised as a bed and breakfast and definitely didn’t say bathroom wasn’t in the room.
- 5/5
Great location to explore the coast. Many walkable eateries.
- 3.5/5
The room was very nice and the grounds are lovely. The kitchen team was great and breakfast was yummy!! It was difficult to get a hold of someone, management is not on site. Also the floors are creaky and I had someone above me that walked around all night and kept me awake. Book an upstairs room if you stay here.
- 5/5
Late afternoon wine and both breakfasts (1st morning scrambled eggs, link sausages, toast and yogurt with lots of fresh fruit; 2nd morning waffles, bacon and more fresh fruits) were quite nice. Also, pleasant flowered deck area with afternoon sun in back yard.
- 2/5
The location was in downtown Half Moon Bay When we booked this stay we thought it was a hotel, but upon arrival realized that it was a bed and breakfast. The bed was pretty uncomfortable and the shower had some temperature adjustment issues. We would have preferred to stay in a hotel because bed and breakfasts tend to be noisier - thinner walls, etc. The pictures and description lead us to believe it was a hotel. We should have dug a little deeper before booking.
- 5/5
Staff was wonderful! So helpful and friendly. every morning breakfast was GREAT! They even had my husbands favorite coffee creamer - what a treat! each night warm chocolate chip cookies were out for the taking; and fresh fruit available was just wonderful. the hot/cold water dispenser saved us money on bottled water during our stay. Our room was beautiful, bed was super comfy, i didn't want to leave! the location was also very convenient. we only used our car one day to drive down the coast to Pescadero to see the lighthouse. otherwise we walked everywhere! our fave restaurant is Pasta Moon, a block away! It was perfect, we'll be back! can't think of one thing!
- 5/5
Good breakfast, parking is tight on site but overnight street parking available.
- 5/5
What a wonderful 2 nights we had at the Nantucket Whale B&B! One of the absolutely best experiences we have had at a Hotels.com property! The room was very accommodating and had everything we needed/wanted, including a jetted deep tub with a hand-held feature. Both breakfasts were delicious and my husband raved about the coffee. Wine was available in the dining room, as well as Biscoff biscuits. Parking was plentiful and the inn was centrally located to restaurants and shopping on Main Street. We had dinner at Pasta Moon, which was recommended by a staff member; it was within walking distance (2 blocks) and was outstanding…a Michelin rated restaurant in 2025!
- 5/5
Everything, the host Suzy was a very kind lady . She took the time to explain and showcase the Inn. She was a delight. Everything looked meticulous and the charm of the inn took us immediately to the East Coast. The room was perfect, a huge bed, a lovely fireplace and the bathtub was just what the doctor offered. We slept like babies. Breakfast was very delicious and the server and the chef were just a delight to talk to. We also loved the patio as we drank our complimentary wine while relaxing to the fire pit. We felt pampered. Nothing huge just perhaps inspecting and possibly tightening the propane knobs so they turn on immediately. The fire pit grill could use some cleaning or scraping of rust and repaint it flat black.
- 2/5
The accommodation was advertised as a hotel, not as a Bed and Breakfast. We would not have booked the accommodation if we had known it was a bed and breakfast.
- 3/5
This was really just a regular hotel room in an old fashioned building. The breakfast was what you would expect in a hotel - nothing special. The carpets are a bit old and had that old hotel smell. The rooms were not very sound proof. It would be fine if your main reason was to be in Half Moon Bay, and you aren’t looking for a particularly special or pampered experience.
- 2/5
The room was very hot at night and there was no fan.
- 5/5
Susie, the receptionist was so helpful and very kind. I love the whole Nantucket atmosphere and the staff was so very nice and the breakfast was great. My only complaint would be the beds. They need new beds.
- 5/5
Convenient to restaurants, 20 minute walk to water, friendly staff, great breakfast and loved the wine & cookies. One of the fans in the room did not work.
- 5/5
Breakfast was good and freshly made and served. Clean room close to downtown and lot of places to eat.
- 5/5
Lovely place.
- 5/5
Very clean room; delicious hot breakfast; quiet area.
- 5/5
Beautiful, comfortable property. We look forward to visiting again.
- 5/5
Enjoyed our stay staff friendly. Bed not very comfortable. Our room was upstairs and bathroom was not in our room. Hard to get luggage upstairs. Few inconveniences but overall enjoyed our stay.
- 4.5/5
carming room and location. hand held shower fixture
- 5/5
Charming property. Exceptional service and location. Loved the home cooked breakfast. The Inn was very clean and kept up. Would definitely stay again.
- 5/5
Great location, clean and well designed property.
- 5/5
Beautiful property and extremely well appointed room! Top notch all the way around! Sparkling clean, comfortable and great breakfast!
- 5/5
Perfect breakfast Ice machine was a little wonky...
- 4.5/5
So cozy and homey, the room was beautiful and very welcoming. The fireplace and bed were the best parts- very comfortable and loved the timer feature for the fireplace. The shower was tricky with the water temperature changing frequently between too hot and too cold, even after finding the perfect temperature it would rapidly change. The shower curtain kept sticking to the body because of the water pressure and how small the space was. The bathtub was perfect for a bath though!
- 5/5
Very pet friendly the greeter was ill so everything was done remotely. It was very easy. We left before breakfast but it looked delishish
- 4/5
Didn't see a hot tub. Did not need A/C, but fireplacenice
- 5/5
microwave running
- 4.5/5
Wine and cookies A little confusing about how to arrive after 6:00 pm.
- 3/5
The room was fine. Not much staff present so no comment on that. . Breakfast was minimal but ok. In our humble opinion, based on lots of experience in many places, the Inn is over priced for what it offered.
- 1/5
Tiny room. Detached bathroom wasn’t optimal. Nice staff but for 500 dollars a night I would have expected much more.
- 1/5
In addition to the very thin walls that let noises of your neighbors go through, when I made my reservation, it was not clear to me that the room did not include a private bathroom. Arriving to find that the bathroom was located in the hallway completely changed the nature of the stay, as I was expecting standard hotel accommodations, not a hostel-style setup. I asked the property manager to show me where this information was clearly stated in the Hotels.com listing, but they were unable to point it out. Even if I misunderstood the description, I would have expected some effort to find a reasonable, customer-friendly solution. Instead, I was repeatedly reminded that I had booked the “cheapest” room and therefore should not expect any accommodation or flexibility. I was also told I could cancel, but in practice a full refund was not possible, so this was not a real option. I encourage future guests to read the room amenities section very carefully and decide for themselves whether it makes sufficiently clear that the bathroom is located outside the room. Personally, I found the presentation misleading and the handling of the situation far from customer-oriented.
- 5/5
It’s clean and quite comfortable, like living at home.
- 2/5
The B&B is a very pretty place however it's in a noisy area , homes directly behind the place, a swim school next door so very busy during daylight hours but much quieter at night. No heat in our room and we stayed in the Nantucket room which had a jetted tub , the timer went on but no jets worked or came on . Breakfast was good and served in our room . My biggest concern is that I left numerous phone calls as well as speaking to staff prior to my leaving the premises and no one has called me back to address my concerns.
- 4/5
Cute and clean Walls have thin walls .
- 5/5
We had a wonderful stay at the Nantucket Whale Inn. We received a warm welcome, nicely decorated room, right on main street walk to everything. Yes, we will be back soon!
- 5/5
Privacy and excellent service
- 5/5
It was peaceful and clean
- 4/5
Breakfast was okay, certainly not “gourmet” as described. We had almost the same breakfast for two days in a row. Both days scrambled eggs and sausage but day one was sausages, day two was sausage patty. The building seems a little “ tired. Might need a little upgrading.
- 5/5
Cleaning and breakfast were both super nice.
- 5/5
The breakfast was fresh and DELICIOUS! The portions were large and the food tasted great! The server was so attentive and gracious.
- 5/5
I loveeeee this place everything was perfect and beautiful….
- 5/5
Clean room, great location, walking distance to everything.
- 5/5
Thanks, J. Robeson
- 4/5
The property itself is above average. The breakfast was OK, but not anything to write home about. Other than a text before arrival to find out what time we wanted to be seated for breakfast, there was no interaction with anyone on the accommodation side of staffing, and I feel that was somewhat of a deficiency.
- 3/5
I thought it was too expensive for the kind of place
- 3/5
Nice quaint B&B. Location is great on main street and walkable to all shops in old town. Parking is tight. Wi-Fi did not work, and cell service is poor. They also ran out of half-and-half for the coffee. Complementary red & white wine in the evening was nice.
- 5/5
Wonderful inn. Delightful room. The host took me on a tour, explained everything. She called guests ahead of time to let us know about special parking considerations around the Pumpkin Festival, so I could come and go without restriction. I am so grateful. Thank you. I will stay here again!
- 5/5
Amazing stay
- 4/5
This was a super cute and cozy place, we had a queen bedroom with its own bathroom. The bed was comfortable as well as the pillows. Breakfast good, tea and coffee station is always available and free wine on tap. Lol. The shower was a disappointment, for $20 they could fix the shower head, it’s loose and tilts to one side bc water pours out the spigot over the heads connection. I thought it would fall off at any moment, luckily it didn’t. It needs to be completely replaced and able to point bc it’s inches from the wall. I would have told someone but we stayed 1 night and never saw the staff again.
- 3/5
The room we stayed in was very small and the bathroom was separate from the room - it was only accessible from the public corridor (this wasn’t clear from the pictures but on looking at the small print realised it was hidden in the amenities section!). Breakfast was ok but not great. The outside space is lovely and their wine hour was a nice touch. It felt strange to have a B&B where everything felt so hands off (nobody at check in as we were outside the two hour window, paid staff doing breakfast not the owner).
- 5/5
Staff was excellent. Inn was so comfortable and nicely appointed. We had everything we needed and more. Very good breakfast on the pretty patio. Would definitely stay here again.
- 4/5
And our room had the bathroom in the hallway.. not in the room.. which was not the best Breakfast sub-par.. but free wine on an evening Nice outdoor area
- 4/5
no instructions for pits no info on where ice is
- 5/5
It was a very relaxing and serene place. The staff was attentive. It was an oasis!
- 3/5
The inn was convenient to the Main Street of Half Moon Bay. Great shops and restaurants nearby. The room was nice but there is no mini frig in the room but a shared one was available. There is also no ice machine accessible to the guests when no one is on the property. This place was pretty much self service besides a breakfast especially made for each guest and they accommodated our vegetarian request. The staff is not on the property during some of the daytime hours and calls to their phone number did not get responded to 50% of the time. There is also a large back open seating area. The housekeeping staff person was very friendly and the place was clean, besides the bathroom vent.
- 3/5
I stayed here for two nights, traveling solo. I didn’t realize it was a bed and breakfast. Unlike the quaint B&Bs where the inn keeper is present and adds friendliness to the experience, when I arrived during the window for check-in (between 4-6p), I was greeted by a young woman who gave me a quick tour and code for the door — and then she said she’d only be there till 6. My room at the top of the stairs felt make-shift, with the shower being outside of the bathroom. There was a curtain you could pull for privacy from the bed. It was a very small room. No A/C that you control from the room — only a fan which I used non-stop, as it was really warm and stuffy. The only staff I saw for my stay were two women who worked the breakfast shift. I wouldn’t stay again, unless they changed procedures and improved the condition of the space.
- 5/5
A really nice bed and breakfast in a quaint old house. Lots of amenities. Friendly staff.. Great location. Tiny parking lot! Would definitely come back!
- 5/5
Amazing
- 4/5
Had a beautiful patio with lush garden; easy walk to downtown area; incredible breakfast and complimentary wine in the evening. A lot of thoughtful personal touches!
- 5/5
Service, room, breakfast, wine and Sandra made this the most extraordinary stay ever. Would highly recommend Nantucket Inn! Thank you so much!!!!
- 5/5
Very well maintained and managed.
- 5/5
Excellent! Really nicely decorated, kind and friendly, plush carpets, clean and modern bathrooms, quiet and private.
- 5/5
Lovely stay! The inn is inviting and comfortable and only 2 blocks from an excellent Italian restaurant.
- 5/5
Great B&B for a seaside vacation.
- 5/5
It was friendly, and the breakfast in the morning was fabulous
- 4/5
Cool place to stay
- 5/5
If I have one…I can’t even call it a complaint. Just know that my room (can’t remember the name) took forever to get hot water. Trust the process; it will come.
- 5/5
We stayed one night - it was quiet, bed was comfortable, fireplace in the room. bkfst consisted of eggs, two small sausage patties, potatoes, yogurt with fruit, orange juice, and coffee. It also had a nice outdoor space with free wine.
- 4/5
Walls are thin. Bed was creaky and not very comfortable.
- 4/5
Nice overall. Walls were very thin you could hear everything out side of the room. Area was nice enough, everything closed early. Recommend Cameron’s Pub down the street and Pasta Moon for dinner was great! Hiking was close as were the beaches.
- 5/5
very nice
- 4/5
Very cute bed n breakfast! Small Inn. Rooms are very small and close to each other. But great for one night and close to the beach.
- 4/5
lovely place to stay
- 4/5
Nice facility, room was well stocked, extra blankets provided, heater provided, and nice complimentary wine at the common area. To make this a 5-star is to stock the soap dispenser at the shower area, fix the broken hook on the back of the bathroom door, and make the breakfast just a little bit more fancy and unique.
- 5/5
More parking though.
- 5/5
Impeccable taste in decor. Attention to detail in service and amenities. Our one concern— our room had a claw foot tub, but no access to soap or body wash. All other details, even including cork screw and champagne stopper in the room— were outstanding.
- 5/5
Very clean and like home
- 1/5
When me and my partner viewed this place and read reviews we thought that this was going to be an enjoyable experience, but we were mistaken. As soon as we arrived our staff greeted us with a “special” way to open the door. Following them upstairs we noticed that the floors were creaking. I opened the bathroom that is located in the hallway and the door was old as well. The walls were very thin and honestly we didn’t feel comfortable. I called to tell them about our situation and that we wanted to cancel. I told them about the doors which the manager mentioned that “ in over 6 years no one complains about that”. I guess I’m no one. I asked how we go about getting a refund because it wasn’t what we were hoping for and she said no refund!!! She was very rude and then hung up. We told the staff that greeted us that we were leaving and she mentioned that she was going to talk with management if there’s anything that can be done. If you are someone who likes their privacy, I recommend you stay away from here. Or anyone in general who doesn’t want to stay with bad management!
- 5/5
Lovely clean place to stay and friendly accommodating staff! The fireplace and access to water/wine/teas/coffee was such a nice touch and made for a cozy and relaxing night. I stayed in the Sankaty Head room and the only complaints are this room is next to the front door so you will hear people coming/going and I found the mattress very lumpy and uncomfortable. Hearing the guest traffic outside my door was honestly manageable but the uncomfortable bed made for a sleepless night. I will definitely be back but will be booking one of the rooms that cite comfortable beds in the review.
- 5/5
The location is great - not in the middle of Main St where the foot traffic is, but super close to walk to everything on Main St.
- 4/5
Dislike: unable to contact staff for help or question during the stay, smell of the carpet in my room.
- 5/5
We absolutely loved this stay! The room was spacious with cozy vibes and the seating area right outside our room would be perfect for a nice day! Would definitely stay again. Plus the breakfast in bed was a perfect start to our morning!
- 5/5
Very updated and modern, with the feel of Nantucket. Enjoyed the complimentary wine an cookies upon arrival
- 5/5
Overall very nice and comfortable, and staff was very friendly. Loved the location and patio, and the bed and linens were extremely comfortable and the gas log fireplace perfect. Breakfast was yummy.
- 5/5
Great place to stay and the breakfast was amazing
- 5/5
Cozy and comfortable, with a nice outside patio area. The next time I am in Half Moon Bay I will definitely stay here again!!
- 5/5
Wonderful Property. Close to downtown and fun!
- 5/5
This property was awesome! We loved so much about it! Super clean, very quaint, so adorable, close to Half Moon Bay Main Street with cute shops and restaurants. The staff was sooo nice and we got our own tour of the property and our room and anything else we would need. The breakfast was so wonderful. Would definitely recommend this place!!!
- 5/5
Really cute bed and breakfast! Charming, building with original features and well cared for. room with fireplace .. comfortable bed and linens. I felt the breakfast could have been better when compared to other bed and breakfasts. Overall great stay!
- 5/5
The cutest little B and B. Close to the beach for an evening stroll. Quiet with modern updates. Wine bar in the evening and breakfast in the morning. Couldn't have asked for a better getaway!
- 5/5
It is an old home turned into an inn. You feel like you stepped into a 1900’s home. It is a very inviting atmosphere. The staff and owner are very friendly and accommodating. The patio is an unexpected treat.
- 5/5
Really good spot. Clean....but the carpet in our room needed replacing
- 5/5
NA
- 5/5
Comfortable bed and very nice breakfast. Innkeeper and staff are very cordial.
- 3/5
the good - nice little house on the outskirts of Half Moon Bay, outdoor patio with three tables with build in firerings (and several without); nice ambiance; nice living /breakfast room on the ground floor; coffee available all day and wine in the evenings. the bad - rooms are very small and had virtually no storage, one small cupboard for hanging clothes, we had to keep everything in our suitcases; no bathrooms, just a sink and shower box encroaching on the room; house borders and second floor rooms overviews a noisy parking; you have no choice for breakfast and it is almost always the same (scrambled eggs with sausage or bacon); intermittent wifi. Overall, has some nice touches, but incommensurate with the price. Would definitely be looking for a different place in HMB the next time
- 4/5
Friendly staff. Quiet location. WIFI was poor, but that isn't a big deal.
- 5/5
Lovely property with comfortable accommodations. Decor was understated luxury and staff was great. Breakfast was nice. Parking was free and easy. We were able to walk less than 5 min to a delicious dinner at Pasta Moon.
- 5/5
Absolutely Wonderful! Will be back for sure!
- 4/5
Not your fault…had a couple with a very large dog next door to us. Kept us up all night. Not good.
- 5/5
But this time their were other occupants that were noisy all night, and our mattress was very uncomfortable. So this was disappointing. Maybe a room with a king bed would be more comfortable.
- 5/5
Super cute, clean, and conveniently located b&b! We loved being able to walk the couple blocks to downtown HMB to get coffee in the morning or to grab dinner or a beer! The beach is also only about a 15-20 minute walk away. The host was very warm and friendly, and theres a cook that makes the included breakfast and you get to choose what time you want to eat. There’s a fully stocked coffee/tea bar, as well as free wine in the afternoon which was a super nice touch! It also has a nice patio area with fire pits, and a whole cupboard full of games. There’s also a small closet area with an ice maker and small fridge. Our room itself was beautiful with full windows on 2/4 of the walls, bed was clean and comfy. The water in the shower does take while to get hot but otherwise shower was nicely renovated and clean.
- 2/5
The noisy was kids yelling yelling!!! I didn't pay $663.00 a night to listen to kids yelling. There was a hair in the bed!!
- 2/5
We just paid nearly $500 to spend the night in a hotel room where our bathroom was in the hotel hallway. The owners included a deceptive description and photos online of the “Miacomet” room. Why not be upfront that the “private bathroom” for this room is accessed through the shared hallway of the hotel? Your guests are going to find out when they get here!? The rest of the experience was ok - not great.
- 5/5
So cute, so comfortable and a really amazing experience overall. I'll be staying here again the next time I'm in town.
- 5/5
.
- 5/5
We stayed in the Miacomet room, there was a swimming school next-door, and in the afternoon towards the evening it was slightly loud. But we could’ve easily closed the window completely. Otherwise, our stay was pleasant. We especially liked the patio outback, where we could sit and enjoy our afternoon drinks.
- 5/5
Great little B&B and perfect for a quick getaway!
- 5/5
Very nice bed and breakfast
- 5/5
We really enjoy our stay Thank you!
- 5/5
Great service and friendly host. She was able to answer all questions and concerns. I will stay here again on my next visit to half moon bay. Thank you.
- 3/5
Not sure how they received five star reviews across-the-board, other than maybe the ladies that make breakfast. The blanket they placed at the foot of the bed smelled like dog, and when I looked closely, I saw there was dog hair. I saw blonde hair on the bed as well. The shower with leak out water onto the floor. The only way to get hot water on the sink is to turn on the hot water in the shower. Also, when I went to look for the bathrobes, they promised I opened the closet, and one was thrown on the floor, while the other one was hung up, but it looked used. so overall, I’m not sure our room was 100% clean, but by the time we noticed everything we saw the housekeeping girl had left. My pillows were clean. At least it smelled like it. We were just going to put up with it. We were too tired to complain. I did like the fireplace, that was a nice touch.
- 3/5
On the positive, they provided a nice station with coffee and wine all night - that was a nice touch.
- 5/5
This B&B was fantastic, from checking in and an upgrade due to not being full Flora gave us a tour let us choose a room. Using hotels.com never gave me the info that we were supposed to check in by 6 but Flora was very sweet to check us in after that time. So many extra amenities. The morning breakfast served was presented so beautifully and was delicious! I didn’t get her name but she was very sweet. I can’t say enough about this place, we will definitely be back and will tell our friends. Nantucket Whale inn you have awesome employees!
- 5/5
Love this Inn. Charming! Nice amenities, wine in the afternoon, coffee and water always available and a nice breakfast. Very comfortable bed and nice fireplace. Wonderful location too.
- 5/5
Fun getaway in a great location ,This restored historic inn is very clean and beautifully decorated . Near old town Half Moon Bay .
- 5/5
Wonderful stay
- 5/5
Great location on Main Street. Parking lot holds 3 cars but plenty of free street parking. Enjoyed a nice glass of wine at check in and in front of the fireplace in my room while relaxing after dinner. Felt very safe and comfortable at this inn. Breakfast was at 9:00, 9:30 or 10:00. Had to pick a time at check in. There was coffee, tea and hot chocolate as well a bowl of apples and mandarins in the common room. Beautiful patio if the weather is good. I would definitely stay here again.
- 5/5
Very quaint, and well strategized in the detail of hospitality everything from a noise dampener to having the a picture frame of Nantucket Island centered perfectly in the room to relaxing music in morning to jazzy at night and there’s much more if you pay attention
- 5/5
A comfortable reasonably priced B&B within walking distance of central Half Moon Bay.
- 5/5
Beautiful inn with unique layout and great location. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Breakfast in the morning was delicious and their coffee/ tea/ and wine bar in the evening is a nice added touch. We had a great time and would definitely stay there again. The Milestone suite was small but had everything we needed. Make sure to ask about the front door being locked at night and using the side gate and door to avoid any confusion.
- 5/5
The Inn is so cute and the breakfast was delicious. The room was comfortable with lots of amenities, and the place was in walking distance of the downtown area. It's also dog friendly! We took our pup.
- 5/5
Amazing!! Just amazing. Found our new favorite place. So cute. So clean. Best service. Quiet
- 5/5
We stayed in the Great Point room - large, comfortable and beautiful. The owner was kind enough to accommodate our booking mistake when we were off by one night. Coffee and tea available 24 hours a day, wine offered in the evening, and a lovely breakfast in the morning.
- 3/5
Unfortunately the tv didn't work and the sink was clogged. It is very loud very early as the walls are very thin. The rooms are cute but small and there are wires everywhere. For the price I was not happy. Also my room had no view except to where people sit and have drinks so no privacy.
- 5/5
It was a really cute room, but very small. I wish there were drawers on the night stand because of how little space there was. I liked how the lamps had (USB) outlets on the lamps and how they utilized the room so it didn’t feel so cramped. The room was very clean and the carpet was soo soft! The staff was very kind and I enjoyed the breakfast we had. Great location! Just wish there was a bit more parking. Also, my partner has asthma and pet allergies so the stay wasn’t so comfortable for them, but now we know to alert staff ahead of time if they are pet friendly.
- 5/5
Very clean
- 5/5
We were here 12 years ago on our honeymoon and we came back to relive the moment. It has been through sone upgrades, yet the charm has not been lost. We will definitely keep coming.
- 3/5
Breakfast had to be scheduled, to dine with another guest on the property as they scheduled 30 min time blocks for two rooms at a time. Rather expensive for the small, hot room. Will not book again.
- 5/5
Cute B&B and a hot breakfast
- 5/5
The place is lovely and very clean.
- 5/5
It was a most enjoyable experience.
- 5/5
Outstanding little B & B in Half Moon Bay. The room was exceptionally well-appointed, clean and comfortable. I highly recommend it to anyone wanting to stay in the area. The Complimentary wine was appreciated and we enjoyed a glass on the lovely patio surrounded by tabletop fireplaces and comfortable seating. Breakfast was included, but we chose to walk to a great little bakery just a few blocks down. I would definitely stay here again!!
- 5/5
Good experience. It was our first time staying in a Bed and Breakfast and the staff was very nice and welcoming. House is old but very kept up.
- 5/5
Great bed and breakfast
- 5/5
Lovely property super clean and impressive upkeep.
- 5/5
This was a casually elegant inn. We appreciated the indoor and outdoor common areas. The room was comfortable but small and a little unique in design. The bed was comfortable and linens good quality. We could walk to restaurants and shops. A tiny parking lot was available. Full breakfast in the morning was a perk!
- 5/5
Quiet location to retreat to.
- 3/5
Warning, there is no onsite host from breakfast to 4 and from 6 all night. No one there for early check-in. Do not get the Milestone Road room! Immediately connected to large deck area where people hang out, play music and drink till after midnight. No one there to tell them not to do so. Called manager, zero help. Right beside the 24 hr coffee and tea station where people come for 6 am coffee. No sleep!

This is a great place to stay for a little romance. A quiet inn just a few blocks from the coast. Gas fireplace in the room (with a plush rug to spread out in front of the fire); nice breakfast; wine in the afternoon. We'll be back.

The bathroom is nice. The breakfast was Amazing!!! I love that we can walk to the Pasta Moon for dinner.

Can only check-in between 4-6. Very friendly person checked us in and gave us code to front door. Steep stairway to room which was a bit hot. Turned on the fan provided, but it didn’t really cool the room until the evening when it cooled down.

Overall great location and great everything. Delicious breakfast and excellent service. Friendly kitchen staff. Complimentary wine was a bonus. The only suggestion is that they explain to guests about the breakfast time slots so there’s no confusion. Maybe offer outside breakfast when more guests want to have breakfast at same time.

This is a very nice place to stay. Very clean and orderly. Very quiet also. We walked to a restaurant for dinner. We would certainly stay here again if we come back this way.

Very clean and comfortable room. We appreciated the chef accommodating our special breakfast requests considering certain allergies.

A very nice secure B&B. Rooms were clean and had everything you needed. Breakfast was excellent. Has a great outdoor seating area.
