SuperB Hamburg Motel

Place is very run down and clearly was just recently reopened. Renovations are currently underway but until then, the place is not great.

Our stay at this property was extremely disappointing. Shortly after checking in, we found roaches, which made it impossible for us to stay. When we addressed this with the front desk, the associate was rude and dismissive, stating that the property was under construction and that they weren’t forcing us to stay. To make matters worse, they refused to issue a refund and told us we had to go through Expedia instead. The room itself was in poor condition— the bathroom door had two poorly patched holes that weren’t even painted. The lack of cleanliness, maintenance, and customer service made this an unacceptable experience. I would not recommend this establishment.

This place will be great once the renovations are complete. The staff is very helpful. I would love to have a coffee pot in the room though.

Unsafe bugs in room

I am so upset, after arriving we found out that this property is being used for homeless and child services, it was scary and unsafe, this was not told me or advertised. I had to book another hotel for twice the amount to feel safe. It should not be listed without this being told to the person renting a room, please let me know if you can do anything. I didnt even stay

Very Clean and courteous but no coffee available on the property was disappointing.

Cobwebs on the windows, the night shift front desk was rude also the person I talked on the phone with his boss. Treated me like garbage. The smell in the building smelt like someone pooped in the hallway had to buy Lysol spray to spray the hallway. That didn’t even take the smell out. One thing is the guy during check in who was working was very nice!

DO NOT BOOK THIS HOTEL. IT IS TEMPORARY HOUSING FOR THE HOMELESS USED BY NEW YORK STATE. Conditions were horrendous. There was black mold in the bathroom, the shower overflowed, linens smelled unclean, TV was broken, there were people screaming at each other in the next room and children crying. We checked out after a couple of hours. I’ve never experienced anything like it in my life. I’m extraordinarily disappointed that Expedia would allow a place like this to offer rooms to travelers.

Great for a one night stay. No amenities but a clean room and a comfy bed.

Very outdates hotel, bathroom caulk was kinda gross, its a step up from motel 6, super 8 etc but far from Hampton, holiday inn, best western etc

Cold water no working properly in the shower everything good

This used to be a quality inn - now it is a “Kwality inn”- used to house homeless people. We did not experience any issues in terms of safety but it was very loud all night.

I chat with Expedia and they answered me and I talked with them about this hotel. The front desk did the refund. This hotel very very bad and they have bad smell._

Someone attempted to get into our room 3 times at about 11 pm, the last time, actually unlocking the door and attempting to slam it open. I had the slide lock on or they would’ve been in our room. I called the front desk and he put me on hold and never got back on the line. I will never stay here again and can’t recommend more strongly that you don’t stay here, especially if you have children.

I stayed here with family maintaining it clean but very high manza smell.

Didn't like was under construction

Way overpriced, No service , No coffee, TV guied did not match shows on the TV, Gangs of people hanging around the entrance, moldy bath tub walls. Could have stayed at the Hampton Inn for the same price.

Room was clean, but the television did not work, and there were stickers stuck to the refrigerator and microwave doors. They looked like a child had done that.

This was middle of the road. No food, coffee, water or anything. Room was clean, area was safe.

Terrible. When came back last Tuesday night, sewage in tub and toilet. Room smell was aweful. Had to move to different motel. Cost me more money. Moved to comfort inn in Hamburg. Better by not by much.

The area was not great - people loitering outside made it feel somewhat uncomfortable.

The first room that I was given smelled like cat litter it was disgusting and the second room I was given was very rundown and outdated. The shower had mold on the walls, and the room smelled very musty and old… The carpet had several snags and loose threads all over and it just needed updating.

It was a good stay. I’d definitely revisit.

Good hotel and location, but it was not easy to get luggage in the side doors because of all the loose rocks on the brick path to the side doors from the parking lot.

Housekeeping failed for two days to clean room and supply clean towels. Had to ask twice before action.

The receptionist was amazing she alone would make me want to book again! Very friendly lady. The room was clean and had a medium sized fridge in it. My kids loved the pool it was perfect size. I didn’t use the exercise room but it looked nice. It is pet friendly and there is a fee but it is not bad at all! (We had our dog) The parking lot was lit up nice and had cameras watching around the building. Overall if I was in the area we would stay here again for sure!

This is the first time I have ever booked via web. It was so easy and check in was a breeze. Also, this was my first time at the Quality Inn. I will book this Quality Inn the next trip I take to Hamburg NY. (Family in area. Visit once a year) AA++ for the whole experience.

Very friendly service, room needs a bit of work but was clean and breakfast was good.

There was black mold in the bathroom and there was never anyone at the front desk. Could not change rooms as the hotel was books. The bath soap smelled like dead fish and dried out my skin.

It was the least expensive from surrounding motels. Nothing fancy but clean, comfortable and friendly. Only disappointment was breakfast. Went an hour before closing and most selections gone and not replenished

Clean and convenient location

The hotel seems to have gone through some renovations in the outside and it looks good. However, the inside looks old and definitely needs some renovations. Because the rooms and bathrooms are old, they look dirty and dim. The bathroom had black mold in the ceiling and in between the tiles. When I first arrived, I was assigned a room that was assigned as non-smoking but had a terrible smoking stink and the bathroom wasn’t great. I went back to the reception and the gentleman there was very kind and changed my room right away without hesitation. The second room definitely smelled better but the bathroom was in the same poor conditions as the first one. Other than that, the reception smelled too much like chlorine from the pool area near by. The breakfast was simple, yet met my needs. There was a employee near by at all times, keeping it clean. Overall, it was okay and it did the trick. But I would highly recommend the owner to update the rooms to look cleaner, brighter and modern. Not to mention to remodel the bathrooms as they much need it. That really threw me off.

The lobby was new but the rooms weren't updated. There was mold on the ceilings of the bathroom and the tubs were gross.

This was a decent place to stay. I would stay again, despite some noise both days during off hours in the hallway. Hopefully, I would have more considerate fellow guests next time.

This is the first time staying here. We were extremely pleased. Beds were so comfortable. Definitely will stay there again.

We booked two rooms, both bathtubs not clean, one room did not have any supplies in bathroom.

Clean and well maintained with friendly staff and very easy access off and on the highway. I always do a bed bug check and can confirm it was bed bug free. And the Mattresses, pillows and all bedding was very new and very comfortable.

The staff was excellent and very accommodating. They were friendly and professional. The property is a little outdated and could use some remodeling. The rooms where clean and contained all necessary amenities.

I had to ask for my room to be cleaned two days in a row. And the staff seemed bothered by my request. The curtains where stained and dirty, walls where severely damaged around AC. The marijuana smell in the hotel every night was out of control. The outside property is in horrific condition, trash, poorly maintained The owner of this hotel should have his brand pulled for him. He does not deserve to be part of the choice hotel room. Stay somewhere else! But all hotels in this area are poor! And they just don’t care!

Disgusting. I recommend that you remove this hotel from your website. This room was not even close to being clean. We left 5 minutes after checking in. Will not go to a Quality Inn ever again because of this experience

I asked for the room to be cleaned two days in a row and they said yes but they did absolutely nothing, I stayed there two years in a row and the treatment was the same terrible , and there was black mold in the bathroom shower area and I will not be staying there again

Was at the hotel for a total of 10 minutes. Booked for early check in, confirmed with the property at time of booking they would and could accommodate. Arrived and had no room as previously promised. It got worse from there. Eventually, several hours later, we checked in and entered our room and found it seemingly hadn’t been cleaned properly (if at all). Hair in the shower, towels not properly folded, toilet paper that had been ripped and used by another guest. There was a hole in the wall with the smoke detector hanging out of it, joined by another couple of small holes in the wall and bathroom ceiling. The rest of the items in the room were stained and in disrepair. The kicker - the room completely different than the pictures posted for the hotel. Appeared to be about 30 years dated. When staff asked about this difference in appearance - they said “it’s marketing”. We also observed a small bug in the bathroom. Immediately made staff aware, who were initially apologetic but then dismissive of the concerns. Offering for house keeping to clean, then offering a different room in same condition. Had to argue for a refund more than deserved for an 8 minute stay given the circumstances. Totally unacceptable condition, unprofessional service. Feel very mislead by online photos and description. Have photos to provide evidence for all who i’ve claims that we’re happy to share. Will not be booking again.

It’s good enough for our needs. We stay there 5-6 times a year visiting family. It’s not over priced and the breakfast is good. Now concerning the “Help Other Travelers” section of this questionnaire. Why isn’t “White Travelers” on the communities list. Isn't that racist to think only white people can travel without special help ??

Was pleased for the money. Was reasonably clean and comfortable. The staff was nice. No complaints about the place. The guests on the night I stayed were…..interesting, but was happy with the hotel itself.

It was near my relatives, which is good. Place seemed generally clean, although fixtures were beginning to show their wear. Did not like that there was no elevator to the second floor where my room was located. This complicated moving my luggage into my room

People next door were screaming and fighting most of the night. Threats were made, some form of assault was going on. It was terrible and my scared were very scared.

6 feet of snow plows can’t get through. The hotel was staffed by the cleaning crew that couldn't get out. They left the breakfast food out all day for us stranded. Job well done

This stay was in the middle of a snow storm and travel ban. 7 feet of snow overwhelmed everyone and everything. The staff did an amazing job in a civil emergency.

I was disappointed in one thing. The inn did not have an elevator. We were placed on the second floor and we are 80 years old and hardly able to climb steps. The info about inn didn't advise no elevator.

It is an "Ok" place to crash. The lobby has been renovated, but the rooms smell like they were all smoking rooms, but they never replaced any of the carpets. The card entry on the back doors never worked, so when we parked at an entrance near our room, we had to walk around the entire building to go in through the lobby. It was a $90 room for $350 for a Bills game.

Rundown , says under construction looks like they gonna get roof done . But room had ants in it, comforter was stained , bathroom tub had cracks then shower 🚿 was pulled away from the wall . Only plus was location

They took out the tub and have just a large shower. There are no shelves so we had to keep the soap and shampoo on the floor in the shower

Staff very nice. Hotel VERY basic. Room small, bed not comfortable. Would spend a little more next time and not stay there.

The location, pool, and breakfast were great. It smelled like our rooms had been smoking rooms in the past or someone smoked in the bathroom. We had spider webs and water damage around the windows. The air conditioner worked well and staff was friendly. I got what i paid for.

Indoor pool ice cold, room stunk had to go out and buy air freshner, very dated and not modernized at all, pot party in room next door, people smoking in entrance way everytime we left and came back so had to walk through that each time, breakfast area was a mess in am, asked for extra towels and were given 4 "pool towels" that were slightly bigger than a handtowel because they were out of bath towels and were told they would bring more when they got some, never did. Checkin and staff was great but everything else was disappointing. We chose this hotel for the pool and was close to stadium and if another hotel was available we would've gone to another property but every hotel in a 30 mile radius was booked due to the Bills game. Will not be back.

This property is in desperate need of repairs. The rooms are not well kept with very noisy air conditioner. We could hear people in the rooms around us. The hotel smells like curry, I think that the owner and his family live in the hotel and they cook there. We got dirty towels and we had to go and ask for clean towels. I would not recommend this property especially for the price we paid.

Driving from upper state NY to Ohio, we needed an in between place to sleep over. The Quality Inn was perfect. Room was quite clean; bed was comfortable and above all, wife was happy!

It was a pleasant stay. The staff were helpful and pleasant and the rooms clean. Miss Debbie in the kitchen is a treasure and a bright spot to our morning!
