Basic and inexpensive. People were friendly and nice. Good sleep!!
- 4/5
Property was good for our short stay. We would have loved the hot breakfast we were planning on from the pics on the website but only had grab and go items.
- 0.5/5
I never booked or stayed. I had a security breach on my phone, and it was hacked. My cash app was cleared out, and I noticed that there had been a room booked I'm just glad I noticed when I did Because if not my whole bank account probably would have been cleaned out.

Good value Nothing

- 5/5
Room comfortable and clean. Staff friendly and helpful. Slept very well. Just wish ice machine worked.

- 3/5
Property is a little run down.
- 0.5/5
The guy that checked me in was super rude. Called to get the WiFi password and he said it real quick and just hung up on me. Had to call him back and ask how to spell it, he huffs and puffs with an attitude.
- 5/5
Great value for the price
- 1/5
the front desk person at check in was awful. Not even a iron in the room.
- 4/5
Cleanliness and staff. Breakfast only consisted of a few pastries, coffee and orange juice.
- 5/5
Staff is fantastic. Check in easy. Very accommodating to our needs
- 2.5/5
Breakfast choices were very limited, everything was a carbohydrate that puts you to sleep on a long drive. No protein what so ever. Hard boiled eggs or packets of peanut butter would have been nice
- 5/5
The location was hard to see from road. The room was clean and staff very nice and helpful.
- 4/5
Staff was friendly and helpful

Squeaky bed and flickering light in bathroom, and loud refrigerator
- 3.5/5
There was a big crack under the door, and the wind swept in a lot of debris overnight.

Nothing I ended up not staying after I entered the room. It was absolutely gross. There was someone else’s hair on the pillows. Black ashy looking spots that looked like bed bug spots, everything was dirty! Upon returning to the office the front desk gave me serious attitude about not wanting to stay due to conditions of the room. Didn’t even offer a different room that was maybe a little cleaner. I wasn’t expecting 5 star quality, I only needed somewhere to stay for the night but I was expecting clean.
- 4/5
Parking was fine breakfast was not have the time
- 4/5
room was neat but toilet was too low for us. Staff was friendly. Parking OK. As for what was on your website it was not right. You need to change it before someome sue's you for false ads.
- 1/5
Nasty, filthy room | no hot breakfast as advertised | overall ran down | staff not helpful | couldn’t stay here, too dirty to even touch bedding
- 4/5
It’s close the main drag (fast food, restaurants, antique stores, groceries) while being tucked away enough to be quiet. They have a decent lobby, ample parking and a gym. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Breakfast choices are decent. They serve eggs, one breakfast meat (sausage), breads, muffins, cereal, yoghurt coffee, tea and hot chocolate. And the staff were just great. Excellent value for the price. Beds could be firmer
- 4/5
Good affordable hotel in convenient location.
- 1/5
TV remote continuously stopped working and needed to be rebooted. HVAC system was constantly cycling on and off preventing a full night sleep. A most unpleasant two night stay
- 5/5
I always stay there when I go down to Hendersonville for training 3x per year I have no complaints
- 2.5/5
Breakfast wasn't good
- 5/5
Yes very nice clean well kept

Don't ever book here. So I had to sesrch for another place for my family of 5 to stay
- 2.5/5
My TV was not working They would come and fix it, but never offer me another room. The room was dirty and the floors had not been swept
- 1/5
Currently trying to find a real person to talk to to get my money back. Perhaps Econo Lodge should know this? Nonsense! I can assure you I will never use you again! Thanks for nothing
- 2/5
Check in was ok. Room was dirty. Had a bunch of long black hair in the bathtub.

- 3.5/5
I would have enjoyed warm items like eggs and waffles for breakfast, but pastries were OK
- 4.5/5
Fair price TV little hard to figure out to work but got figuredout TV hard to figure out
- 1.5/5
Nothing there to eat at breakfast. Just sugar cereals and sugared oatmeals. the large dead spider on the ceiling with a black shoe print over it. The dirt and food splattered walls. the dirty corners, and surfaces. the cracked and peeling mortar between tiles in the bathroom. the inadequate breakfast that had nothing for us to eat.
- 3.5/5
Breakfast was ok. Plenty to choose from. B Better with fresh fruit. Bananas etc
- 3.5/5
Check in was pleasant and quick, very nice young lady. Location was great as I was going to the Apple Festival right down the road. Room was clean and nice, I was able to park close to my room. The bathroom could be updated as the tub had these seashell shaped ledges that made it a little awkward. Bathroom was not set up correctly as the door couldn’t close due to hitting the toilet. It was ok for a solo traveler but would be awkward for a couple. Overall it was a nice place. Bathroom-see above
- 4/5
Elevator, for seniors would help
- 4/5
Good for the price. Comfortable enough for a quick overnight stay. Breakfast is very limited.
- 3/5
The floors in our room needed to be cleaned.
- 3/5
Had to ask to switch rooms. Room was gross. Sheets were dirty. There were cobwebs all over the ceiling and mystery goo on the floor and walls . The cigarette smell was so bad it was keeping me awake. I had to cover my nose with perfume to mask the smell. The cleaning lady took our do not disturb sign off then knocked and disturbed us while my girlfriend was changing. The front desk was very nice and helpful. The 2nd room was much cleaner. Beat up, but cleaner.
- 1/5
Charged insane fees to stay while traveling. Cost over 400$.
- 5/5
Loved the breakfast menus
- 4/5
Convenient budget hotel, right off interstate. Very nice staff, comfortable room. Facility is a bit dated and would benefit from some facility improvements.
- 5/5
we had a great stay. They took great care of us
- 4/5
Was econo. Was fine
- 2/5
Price good... service ok
- 3/5
The staff was great and the outside of the property looked good. The room was okay, very basic and it looked like they used the absolute cheapest flooring, fixtures, everything. The tub/shower was pretty ridiculous with 3 large protruding built-in shelves that made it tough to even stand in the tub!! For the price though, I guess you get what you pay for. It served the purpose.
- 4/5
Enjoyed our stay. Staff was very helpful. We took our elder dog with us. On check in the lady was very understanding and extremely helpful in accommodating our needs. She suggested several parks and activities for our pooch. We enjoyed the local restaurants , downtown Hendersonville and local apple orchids.
- 1/5
People in the room next to us smoking pot and it made me sick. They were smoking outside the room at 7am.Called the office and they did nothing. Said they were workers.
- 4/5
The young lady clerk who checked us in had to deal with a unpleasant situation with a lady trying to check in when there were no rooms available. The clerk was very professional as she dealt with the problem. I was impressed with her professionalism.
- 1/5
Toilet didn't even work. Health inspector should shut this place down.
- 1/5
Roaches all over the room. Found a roach on my son’s pillow and on the bed. I did not sleep. I let my son sleep and stayed awake with lights on all night keeping watch after a three hour drive to NC from Atlanta. Never again. Stay away. I told the clerk and she said email the manager photos and it was a gmail account. I still have not heard back from management. The whole place should be condemned. You’re better off sleeping in your car in a walmart parking lot.
- 4/5
Good
- 1/5
The floor had cracks in it. The bathroom had holes in the wall and it was dirty. We had a used toothbrush on our table and someone else's key cards.
- 4/5
Staff was helpful. Room was clean and comfortable. Poodle felt at home.
- 3/5
Room had dirt in every corner, ac vents filters full of dust, needed mopping bad my 2 year olds bare feet were black after walking around.

- 2/5
When you first walk in the room it looks good but as I walking through there was beer can tops on the floor and black mold in the shower and there was a hole in the wall and when I first got there to check in the person behind the counter just keep on saying it was they day off and why did they come in
- 4/5
Nice enough room, fridge was noisy and frozen
- 1/5
Dogs went crazy. And the front desk. Is like oh well it happens. I also carry a gun! What if my dogs would have bitten them or i would have shot.... then its my fault. Check out is 11am. Why would you just open not even knock at 9am... very unhappy
- 3/5
The parking was terrible; hardly any room to turn around and you literally had to back out of the lot in front of the pool if anyone else was parked there. There is also a lot of noise. Noise from the guests, noise from the heat/AC, and lots of noise from the room fridge. The bed was clean and comfortable but there were cobwebs in the corners. The shower controls were difficult to adjust and the shower stall is extremely small.
- 5/5
The woman at the front desk was very polite and courteous
- 4/5
Smallest shower I’ve ever seen … and the bathroom was huge!
- 5/5
Shower water pressure was weak.
- 3/5
During our stay we found three bugs in our room. The continental breakfast was cold foods or instant packets you had to fix yourself.
- 2/5
The room wasnt cleaned. Still towel from previous guest. We told house keeping but i dont believe she spoke english. There was tomato sauce all in microwave and air conditioner and appeared to have blood on the sheets. The sheets didnt appear to be changed at all. Holes in the walls and tooth pics and trash between the beds. The positive i will say is the lady came up immediately to help us with the tv. She was kind. But thats all i can say.
- 5/5

- 4/5
There was NO decafficated coffee for the breakfast bar. Very few choices of healthy items and very small variety of what was there.
- 3/5
Needs CapEx
- 5/5
Phil at the front desk was fantastic! The rooms were great, and all was good.
- 4/5
Quiet and great for what we paid. The bathtub was leaking but nothing crazy
- 3/5
Disappointed with breakfast
- 4/5
We had a comfortable clean room for a good price. There was some chipped paint and minor damage and the furniture looks dated but it was everything we needed and affordable.
- 1/5
Pubic hairs all over the beds Holes in the walls and doors Dresser didn’t even have drawers in it Bed was like a rock Floors were filthy Maid thought we left after repeatedly telling her no thanks and she thought we left and attempted to come in our room without permission Nasty plain nasty
- 4/5
Clean room
- 2/5
I read reviews of the stats of others being pleasant and room being fresh. Our nonsmoking room was NOT fresh. Looking back, we should have asked for a different room upon entering our nonsmoking room thinking it had been smoked in for 20 years. Very musty and gross. The area around us was questionable, and the clientele seemed questionable as well. Glad I just stayed for one night. The breakfast was very lacking, but the room seemed fairly clean and the bed was comfortable. There are not many other good options in Hendersonville, but I would go elsewhere if in the area again. The front desk staff both at night and in the morning were kind.
- 3/5
It was ok
- 4/5
Camas limpias y buenas para descansar
- 5/5
Very satisfed
- 5/5
Clean room very friendly staff
- 1/5
We did not stay at this hotel after being offered 2 dirty rooms. It was nasty! The lobby smelled of cigarettes. The rooms were even worse. 1st room -Bugs between mattress cover and mattress. Dried urine on toliet. 2nd room penny dirt, stains on mattress Toe nail clippings on the floor.
- 4/5
Super fun shell pattern in shower.
- 5/5
It was good for the price
- 5/5
Nice hotel in center of Hendersonville
- 5/5
Good service
- 5/5
Shower did not have enough pressure
- 5/5
Great place to spend the night.
- 3/5
During week property was over run by workers everywhere, drinking and smoking, they did quiet down around 10pm and all woke up early. Breakfast was wiped out by 8am
- 4/5
This little motel is ok, especially for a nites stay, nothing fancy here. The rooms are clean, parking is good, the outside is pretty old fashioned and not pretty. The breakfast bar is ok, nothing especially great but efficient. I like it because it is affordable, located in a good spot.
- 4/5
The floor was dirty, look like it hadn't been swept, and all the towels were stained and dirty.
- 4/5
The room assigned to us was in terrible condition so they moved ups immediately to a much nicer room. Staff excellent
- 2/5
It was a grubby hotel room. Bathroom had gross dust piles in the corners. Part of the wall was ripped off. The sheets may have been clean, but the blankets were nasty.
- 5/5
Perfect last minute trip. Perfect execution by the hotel. Thanks!
- 5/5
Yes
- 2/5
Room smelled. Door lock broken.
- 3/5
We were evacuated due to the wildfires. Our county has not let us go back home yet. We have 2 pets so the shelter was not accessible. We struggled to find availability with hotesl allowing pets. Econo lodge does and was available.
- 1/5
I didn't stay. I left my home due to wildfires on the mountain behind my house. When I arrived I was told I wouldn't be allowed to stay because they have a no locals allowed rule. So while I worried about my home they didn't care. Thankfully the Days Inn next door had a room for us.
- 3/5
Hotel was very clean and in a good area. The only complaint I had was room smelling like cigarette smoke and one of the blankets had a hole. Other than that I was impressed!
- 3/5
Everything was fine. My only issue was on the last day I was there, the Internet went out. I went down to the front desk and the person just shrugged their shoulders and said there was nothing they could do about it. I works personally believe when a business is laying for a service they are not receiving, they would contact the vendor ASAP to get it resolved. That did not seem to be the case here.
- 4/5
Outside, the motel isn’t pleasant in appearance. It’s dated. But my room had been remodeled and was quite comfortable. I travel with my certified support animal and we slept well, her on the floor of corse. Breakfast was fresh fruit cocktail and a blueberry muffin, coffee. Not fancy but all I needed
- 4/5
pitiful breakfast. otherwise nice visit
- 4/5
Our check-in was perfect. There was no one staying here so we had the hotel to ourselves. The bed was very comfortable and there is very little road noise. The room needed a touch-up from housekeeping as there were dead flies in the bathroom and spiderwebs in the television area. There was a big hole behind the door in the bathroom and most of the lightbulbs above the sink were either burned out, missing or very dim.
- 2/5
This is a very tired motel in poor condition. The faucet and shower handles were loose and barely worked. The ceilings and floors in the bathroom had cracks, and the caulk was bad. There were dead spiders on the ceiling. Our neighbors smoked marijuana in their room, which we could smell. The area seemed safe, but was not very nice.
- 1/5
Hotel staff is rude unprofessional and unhelpful and unwelcoming the place is dirty you couldn’t pay me to stay here again
- 3/5
The hotel was okay, I wasn’t really a fan of the layout or location. But it was affordable
- 5/5
We stay here often when in the area for work. It is quiet, clean, and the staff is fry& helpful.
- 5/5
ok.
- 4/5
They had canceled my reservation and said that Orbitz had called cancel.
- 3/5
About what you expect, not much breakfast or coveted. But the bed was very comfortable, the room was quiet and dark, and the stay was pleasant.
- 5/5
A
- 3/5
There was mold in the walls.
- 5/5
The property was aged. The first thing I had to do it pick up a wad of hair from the bathroom floor. The room’s floor also needed to be cleaned- just small bits of trash that a dust mop would have caught.
- 3/5
Room floors was dirty. Large wasp nest just outside of room. Breakfast was such a minimal selection and quality it should have not been advertised. Thank goodness for Starbucks adjacent to property.
- 1/5
The property was disgusting. Cigarette butts everywhere. The guy beside us kept smoking pot in the doorway. So everytime we opened our door we smelled it. Mold was everywhere. Spider in the bathtub which tells me that they don't spray for insects.
- 1/5
Most of the reviews were good so that's why I stayed here but im thinking they must weed out the bad reviews. However the grounds were dirty and the room was okay but the bathroom was disgusting. Mold wverywhere and even a spider was in the bathtub. I requested an iron and couldn't get one. The free breakfast was muffins and fruits.
- 5/5
Staff when we checked in was amazing I was tired and frustrated and she was warm and welcoming.
- 2/5
Problem with toilet flushing. Went to close shower curtain & it started to fall off. Couldnt even see out window because it was so dirty. Every time we opened or closed the door, the handle fell off. Staff was very friendly. Waffles or eggs at breakfast would be a nice & big improvement
- 4/5
Basic needs covered
- 4/5
A good stay and place - clean, beds are comfy, and no bugs or anything in the rooms, which is always a concern. Breakfast is okay - just some grab and go stuff (muffins, cereal, toast, oatmeal, and coffee/juice). They keep it pretty stocked though and it is convenient. Internet is really decent compared to other places I've been, which is helpful since work from home. Housekeeping is good - they check on you but also give you your space and aren't overbearing. The only thing is this place is in/near a heavy traffic area, but a lot of dining options and convenient stores/shops.
- 4/5
We enjoyed our stay motel motel was good and the pool was wonderful the only problem we had was the girl on second shift wasnt that friendly but the other 2 was great and when u advertise u have breakfast u need to say what type and also website said $ 83 dollars a night and we paid more thats my only problem
- 2/5
Check in person was very nice. Breakfast was good. Room was clean.
- 5/5
The hotel was chosen because it was pet friendly, had a pool, and the rate was great <$100/night. The pet fee was reasonable at $10/night, although Red Roof's has is free!
- 4/5
We stayed here one night on our way to the beach. The pool was nice and we slept well. My only complaint would be there was too much hair left in the shower/bathtub that made it seem the shower and tub were not cleaned.
- 2/5
It was extremely dusty
- 4/5
Breakfast was ok- standard continental.
- 4/5
The property is in a convenient location and my room was clean especially for a rare smoking room. On the opposite side from the office my room was quiet and peaceful. I was surprised at check in to learn that I would be charged a $150 deposit because I live within a 150 mile radius of the hotel. This seems unreasonable and the older gentleman who checked me out in the morning was obviously annoyed when I interrupted him on his way out the door with a cigarette in his hand so he didn't explain that I would not receive the refund for my deposit for a few days. When I called to inquire the following day another gentleman finally explained the delay and I did eventually receive the refund. It seems like a deposit that is more than the room rate should not be hidden in fine print. In spite of staff explanations I saw no evidence to warrant such precautions. The high deposit made me feel a bit uneasy about the property but my stay was quite peaceful and pleasant. The check in clerk was also very helpful and nice but also seemed stressed when trying to explain the policy. I enjoyed my stay but would probably avoid the drama next time.
- 3/5
The toliet wouldn't flush.
- 4/5
ok area
- 4/5
Easily accessible location close to the interstate. Staff was friendly. Room was very clean, and bed was comfortable. Housekeeping miss one day and the second only offer more towels. Did not try the breakfast. Overall was a comfortable stay. I would stay here again.
- 5/5
Walmart superstore 5 minutes drive. Rooms have fridge and microwave. Pool area very clean.
- 5/5
Quiet, clean hotel. Pool needs to be painted but was still nice enough to just hang out.
- 5/5
Loved the location for convenience HATED the traffic noise.
- 5/5
I was pleased that not only was the room clean and tidy it didn't smell. I've had way too many NON-smoking room just stink. Everything in the room was clean and well cared for.
- 5/5
Nice quiet little out-of-the-way spot
- 3/5
We based our stay on a budget and the advertisement of a full buffet breakfast. However, the what was offered was merely cereals, fruit, and muffins….a continental breakfast. Therefore, our budget was blown due to having to go out for breakfast. Very disappointing!
- 5/5
Front desk young lady was very welcoming
- 2/5
I stayed here for a total of 2 weeks to work in the area. Overall the property was decent, but showed its age. On check in, I was told that the amount I was paying covered the entirety of my stay, but was charged again $460 after my room key stopped working at the end of my first week. The room was cleaned daily with the exception of one day where the bedsheets had been removed by the cleaning staff and were not replaced when I returned as well as a spray bottle with cleaning solution had been left in the bathroom. I notified the front desk and was given sheets to make the bed myself- which is unsatisfactory when the service is paid for. There were outlets by the bed which didn’t work, but others in the room did. The breakfast items were all bread of various kinds with the exception of canned fruit mix that was in a bowl. I was told that hot breakfast items like eggs, waffles and bacon or sausage had been removed during Covid and were no longer offered.. During my stay, I asked for a cot so I could have a guest and was told by the front desk they did not have cots on site. I then learned the next day that wasn’t true and the girl working had been told not to offer cots because they were uncomfortable.. Overall, I would say the staff needs better hospitality training to be considered for future bookings and property updates need to be made for future guest comfort
- 1/5
This property was a dump. Not suitable for overnight stay
- 2/5
Gross!
- 5/5
I like it
- 5/5
Clean and economical hotel. Decent breakfast.
- 4/5
Clean
- 1/5
Needed a good cleaning. Walls in bathroom were damaged and repairs were started but incomplete. Splattered material around the walls of the sink area from who knows what. Bathroom door wouldn’t shut without slamming it.
- 4/5
Older property but sufficient
- 5/5
I highly recommend staying here. The only issue I had was the sink was clogged. Overall very clean and comfortable room. I slept like a baby and will be using this Econo Lodge often in the future. :)
- 4/5
Really close to freeway kinda loud
- 4/5
The front staff was very friendly, the room was very clean and updated (although there was some wear and tear on the walls). There was no one beside us or under us, so we didn't hear any noise. And the price was right. The only thing that bothered me was the lack of lighting in to the rooms. It didn't give me a safe feeling. However, there wasn't anyone sketchy around, it was just the lack of lighting that made me uncomfortable.
- 2/5
I booked a two night stay visiting family over the Christmas Holidays. When I returned the afternoon of my first day stay, I was locked out of my room. Had to go look for the front desk clerk to get back in the room. Nothing like looking for a clerk that napping in his back room. In today's cancel culture, I would love to shut this place down. Stay at the Red Roof Inn or Days Inn beside this UNSAFE AND RUN DOWN PLACE!!!!!
