The staff was not very friendly. I got questioned when I asked for an extra towel : “why do you need another towel when there are 2 of you?” The towels were so thin we needed extra! Room looked clean on surface but had an odd smell like body odor. The toilet was wobbly and shower drain off and sitting on side of tub. The water was hot. Coffee was provided which tasted like old water and waffle mix was so watery when we made one it was a burnt thin mess. Overall the hotel was not well mantained. Used condoms in parking lot! Gross!

The room was clean and comfortable. No issues.

Bathroom door wouldnt close, it was hard to get room door open and breakfast was gone an 1hour before it should have ended. Staff was very nice when approched.

Our room was clean, and the property was clean. The hotel is no frills, but you get what you pay for. Our home was being renovated, and we need somewhere close by that was reasonably priced to stay for a couple of days. The hotel did charge a double deposit because we were “locals”. I was not happy about that, but it was refunded in a few days. The breakfast consisted of waffles only and lukewarm coffee. Fortunately it is located near many fast food restaurants, a Wal-mart, and a grocery store. Great location near the interstate. I would recommend for a night’s stay somewhere clean and cheap. The hotel staff was nice.

The Room we booked was clean and no smells. The bathroom was clean. The bed was so comfortable. The only thing I didn’t like was the other guests were loud coming to their rooms at night.

The front desk ladies were very kind and tried to accommodate my complaints Room was very dirty. Food and hair all over the floor. Jacuzzi was broken. Stains on blankets and sheets. Very nasty. Water stains on walls in bathroom. Walls are very thin and the people that stayed were very noisy next to us. And someone kept getting in and out of their car all night long. Got no sleep

There was no breakfast. Also when we left there was not any coffee made. The night clerk was very hard to understand. English was not her first language. I don't even want to know what was stuck to the walls around the bathroom comode.

Mostly quiet Ac units , hair dryers didn’t work, staff was rude even calling 20 mins ahead to remind me of checkout time which I didn’t ask for. Rooms are damaged, badly painted.
- 4/5
Good place to stay for the money. If you can find it. The staff has no idea where the hotel is located. FYI south east of I26 and hwy 68 do not drive 10 miles up to the top of the mountain. Hope you like waffles for breakfast that’s all there is.
- 2/5
Staff attempted to charge a $50 "deposit". I refused and eventually was able to check in. My initial room had a non-functional bathroom light. The second room was not as clean (dirty mirror, walls, etc.). Microwave did not spin due to incorrect glass insert for the unit. Was not informed of the property having breakfast, so missed out.

The room we were given had a horrible food odor so we requested a new room. The guy at check in switched our room but said it was the only room left. Being late at night, we took it. There were stains on the bedding, the floors were sticky and dirty, the tub wouldn't drain and was clogged with hair and black gunk, the walls had numerous patches of sheetrock mud that hadn't been painted. The next morning we requested that the room be cleaned and the tub fixed while we were away. We returned 11 hours later to an unclean room and nasty tub. They had simply brought in clean towels and took out the trash bag. We informed the staff at check out this morning and they just replied that there were no notes about it. A very disappointing stay!!
- 1/5
BED BUGS !!!! Place was nice enough until trying to sleep and finding bed bugs crawling on bed and pillow. Large brown bugs and very small red ones. Classic description, quite scary. Got another room at 1:00 am but just wanted to run.
- 2/5
The gentleman who checked us in was nice, that's about the only positive.
- 1/5
Room smell, horrible
- 2/5
From the jump, my experience at the Red Roof in Hendersonville was bad. Check in was posted as 3PM, I arrived at 4:15PM and was told my room was not yet ready. The desk clerk "upgraded" me to a jacuzzi room because they were clean. The room was actually not cleaned yet, so I stood awkwardly in the hall outside of the room while the cleaning woman took care of it. Once I was in, the room had a fresh smell but was still pretty dirty. There was built up dirt and grime behind furniture, stains running down the headboard, hair on the sheets (which should have been fresh). The desk chair in the room was a metal folding chair. The TV remote was partially melted and did not work whatsoever. The whole experience was wild and it was genuinely the worst hotel I've stayed at.
- 5/5
the rooms are beutiful and clean
- 1/5
Rediculus for a buisness to suggest to a paying & kind guest to go somewhere else when they have done nothing to display any reason to be REFUSED a room. Also they just assumed I didn’t have enough to pay the incidental fee when I had to say atleast 3 times that was fine. They wanted 200$ cash to hold Being rude to people that want to give them buisness makes little sense when they won’t do litterally anything about the druggies and homeless frequenting the property 24/7. This place is clearly the local hangout for the low life’s. I get this isn’t a 5 star hotel but this is the Last time for me at one of these type of property’s.
- 3/5
The bedding was dirty even after requesting a bed change it was still nasty with holes. Staff was super friendly so overall we made it work but you shouldn’t have to go buy your own blankets to stay at a hotel.

We have been here for a little over a month now and we feel right at home! The property is well kept, staff is very accommodating
- 2/5
Initial Assigned room was dirty, bed was not changed, window was open, room hot….second room was hot, fridge warm, stains to comforter, smoky smell, other guests smoking outside window
- 2/5
water pressure worrible, ac motor all night loud and turning down didnt change it.TV monitor picture not able read channels.

You get what you pay for
- 2/5
Stained sheets and a broken bed.
- 3/5
Interesting place…the first room I was given smelled really, really strong if mildew - like over the top. To get a different room I had to go get the front desk clerk from out front of the hotel where they were clearly smoking pot. The second room they assigned me was already taken with someone else’s stuff. The third room was fine - as in acceptable but nothing special. They do have a “first pet free” policy which I appreciated and the place was generally clean. Bottom line…buyer beware…
- 5/5
It was pleasant. Clean and well kept. Quiet at night.
- 2/5
Smoke smell
- 4/5
It was convenient across Outback and a gas station. The bed had great pillows. The room was quiet with a view of the woods.
- 1/5
Place was horrible straight out of a murder movie
- 2/5
We have been staying at this facility on visits to family in the area for the last five years. We used to find it a clean, quiet, pleasant stay. The office staff remains helpful, but the building has deteriorated over time. Pipes rattle, faucets leak, toilets run. The cleaning is poor. There is no breakfast beyond coffee and a waffle maker. It is no longer quiet. We will be staying elsewhere in future trips.
- 4/5
All the staff were excellent friendly the biggest problem was commode needed to be flushed a couple of times didn’t want to flush normally. TV kept messing up and freezing. Main door handle was tight to open
- 4/5
The hotel was located on a dead end culdesac. The breakfast needs some improvement. Only option was a waffle and luke warm coffee. No juice or cereal. No creamer for coffee!
- 5/5
It was nice and quiet
- 5/5
Service was great would have been nice if I got waited on when I was walking up instead of having to stand and wait while the person at the counter answered the phone instead of putting them on hold.
- 2/5
First room they checked us into the phone didn’t have a cord and no TV remote. Front desk moved us to a different room and the TV didn’t work there, only a blank screen. We were finally able to get it to work by adjusting cords, but then the remote wouldn’t work. We called front desk and asked for help and they never came so we went to front desk to get new batteries for the remote. Remote still did not work. Upon check out we requested a refund, or at least a discount, and the clerk told us she could not do that without her manager (who was out of town for the next week). Gave her our name and number but feel secure knowing that we’ll never hear from her - so money wasted. Additionally, the gentleman in front of us in line to check out had a list of things wrong with his room also. Bad experience and will not recommend this place to anyone.
- 5/5
Everything was very nice
- 3/5
No breakfast/coffee. Smoking in the room 2 doors away was awful.
- 4/5
One of the lowest priced motels nearby. My room was comfortable but the shower/tub was tiny, I couldn’t take a needed hot bath. To relax my tired muscles. No breakfast at all , coffee only. Don’t expect a nice breakfast bar here they don’t have it overall is OK.

When I first arrived at 7:30pm there was no one on duty at the desk I was instructed by a letter taped to the glass to call this number the desk clerk came down from the second floor and he was not interested at all in helping me he was a very unhappy person then I was assigned a room on the second floor it was nasty, the floor was sticky throughout the whole room there was something splattered in the floor that was never wiped up it was just scattered through the whole room and bathroom, the headboard had something splattered on it was never wiped off and the TV did not work on top of that the window would not lock it was broken there was a stick provided for me to put in the window to lock it. This hotel stinks with an odor of dog doo. It was late when I signed in after working at 12 hour shift I slept in the room the first night I asked for another room or a refund to complete the next two nights I had paid for already. The second room I was giving when I returned for the second night was on the first floor and it was much better it was clean and the TV worked the window lock worked. This hotel desperately needs a staff to clean their hotel properly and new carpet. I work in the area weekly and I stay in the area for work I will not be staying at the Red roof inn in Hendersonville again.
- 5/5
Easy access to everything
- 5/5
Pretty much your regular red roof. Affordable
- 4/5
Room was mostly clean, the whole hotel stinks but the smell stayed outside my room. Put up the do not disturb and they respected it. Not the best RRI but not the worst either.
- 2/5
The property itself was decent for a one night stay minimum.
- 1/5
No smoking hotel was untruthful. Rooms smelled like smoke and people hanging out of windows smoking. Dirty lobby and out of order sign on the lobby bathroom
- 1/5
From the moment we arrived the woman on night shift was very disrespectful as if it were our fault she was compelled to work there. She spoke so soft i could not hear her at all because she refused to leave her seat and come to the counter. Once we arrived at the room the room was clean and prepared well. The Television was not working at all, I informed the clerk and she was going to change it but for the fact they were full. She indicated that she would pass the problem to the day clerk. The next day of our 2 of a 4 day stay, the TV was not fixed and there were no bath towels in the room or the desk. That will be my last stay at Red Roof.
- 1/5
Noisy
- 2/5
I had to call the hotel a few days later due to my deposit being added then removed from my bank account rather then the other way around. It was the same women from before no mistake. I tried to explain what had happened to her and she just kept telling me to call my bank (which I had already done) I asked for the mangers name and she gave me the one I saw on the name tag I saw at check out. She was trying to pretend that she would have the “manager” ie her call me back. I ended up calling red roof customer service after. Got a very nice man that transferred me to someone who also told me to call my bank. For the record the deposit and the money removed was from from same place but different accounts. Confirmed by my bank. Something shady is going on there.
- 5/5
Nice
- 2/5
bathroom door handle was loose, floor was duty, shower head was broke,
- 5/5
My only complaint is the TV wasn't working
- 1/5
There was a barking dog on the 2nd floor just doors away from us that barked from 2 am to 4 am. The nighttime desk person did not address the issue even though guests were yelling down the hallway to be quiet!
- 3/5
The water leaked in the sink, the floors were not clean, the toilet wobbled when you sit down, the tv had been reset and took twenty minutes to reprogram, there was a stick propped in the window to keep anyone from coming in from the outside.

‘There is Nothing We Can Do’ is their Preferred Answer. I was Double Charged for a 12 day stay. (Over$1300.00) They Collected the Money at the Hotel. Now they say that can Not happen. I have the Proof from my bank that they Were Paid. They Refuse to Check or acknowledge their Deposits or their Monthly Profit and Loss Statements. They would see the Overage at that point. My Bank has Opened a Dispute. I have Written the Better Business Bureau. My next step is to include My Attorney in the Conversation.. clearly their CEO Zack Gharib has a Business Model that does NOT include Outstanding Customer Service. This Outlook will not serve the company well. In such a Competitive Business Environment the only way to increase your market share is to Appreciate Your Customer and Win them to Your Location.. Red Roof Inn Hendersonville, NC has caused ALL Red Roof Inns to Lose This Customer and All of their Networks.

So easy to access. Safe and clean

I was there when Hurricane hit, 2 days no electricity or water. Hotel provided ice one day. Rooms were dirty I killed a dozen roaches asked for bug spray they didn’t have any. Staff was not given much to work with. I don’t blame them for Hurricane conditions. However the cleanliness and bugs unacceptable
- 3/5
Perfectly adequate for a one night stay.
- 2/5
We booked with expedia and it says they offer breakfast but they only have coffee.
- 4/5

1 night stay. Check-in was fine, room was clean and comfortable. Woke up at 1040am Sunday morning, called front desk several times to ask for a late check, had to go to front desk for someone to show up and was told no they couldn't accommodate my request. We just needed 30 minutes to take a quick shower 🚿 I could've taking it while I was waitng on them. Then when we checked out on TIME, they made us wait while they checked the room to give me a receipt? Apparently this is their standard. Never again use this hotel.
- 3/5
I would say for the price we did not get the best hotel . It was pretty clean some black marks on blankets. Bathroom was alittle dirty around toilet. The air conditioner and a weird smell to me in the the morning. It was in a great location. Close to restaurants and shopping. The breakfast well it was just coffee and a mini blueberry muffin one day they didn’t have anything. The beds were comfy the tv was alittle small but it worked fine . Our room did have a microwave and a refrigerator, we didn’t use the the microwave but the refrigerator worked good . Overall it was a good stay for last minute booking
- 4/5
Clean yet a little outdated.
- 5/5
Quiet and right by outback
- 4/5
Was here for a three-night stay. I chose this location for it affordable price point and the convenience to the highway and nearby shopping and restaurants. Room was very clean, but it was a nonsmoking hotel, and my room had a fragrance smell that made me think the room might have been previously smoked in but did not smell of smoke. Bed was comfortable but after my first night housekeeping came the next day and cleaned but did not make the bed. Then the following day no housekeeping at all had to make my own bed and then next day I checked out. For an affordable place this checks the right boxes, and I would stay here again. I did get a good laugh out of the message left on the iron and one can only wonder what prompted this message to a guest or maybe they all have it but I guess I will have to wait till my nest visit to find out.

It was pretty good
- 4/5
My only complaint was that the coffee in the lobby was undrinkable. Cold and tasted awful.
- 3/5
Front desk staff was not very friendly when we checked in she was not very organized on getting us to our room also we called and asked for a plunger and batteries took 25 min … I had to go to desk and the two of them were sitting there talking check out process was just as long she wouldn’t answer my question until she laid eyes on my room to get my deposit back when that wasn’t even my question

Raymond (I believe that was his name) was very nice & accommodating & I thought had the best personality for a front desk.
- 5/5
All was great!!!

- 4/5
It's quiet and in the woods. They're renovating and it seems to be a quick flip.
- 2/5
We booked a king bed but upon arriving at the hotel were told all they had left was a 2 full bed hotel room. 2 adults on a full size bed was very uncomfortable. The toilet was not properly fitted to the floor & listed to one side when sat upon. The room was ADA approved (which we did not need) and made it very difficult to shower easily.
- 5/5
Clean, affordable, safe, quiet, walkable to Outback Steakhouse.
- 3/5
The room was ok, but one of the ice makers was out of order and the other spit out ice with bugs frozen in the cubes. I understand this place is getting a make over, but the ice was nasty. Staff was friendly and accommodating, probably wouldn’t book a room there again.
- 1/5
We were so disappointed with this hotel. It is under construction and is a mess. The listing stated they provide free breakfast but they did not. When I asked the clerk he told me we can always go to a different hotel. They did provide coffee but it was luke warm and tasted awful. The room was ok at best. The bathroom fixtures are old and the shower pressure was so low we couldn't wash our hair. The mattresses are hard as a rock! I literally tossed and turned every night for 3 nights. I'm not sure how this property has such good ratings.
- 4/5
Lots of construction going on, so the place did not look its best.
- 3/5
Large boxes everywhere, hopefully there will be better days coming once they finish whatever remodeling projects have created so much mess
- 4/5
Room was comfortable and the hotel is just off the interstate. Air conditioner was a little loud. Otherwise, I would rate as a 4 out of 5. Would stay there again.
- 5/5
The motel was clean, quiet and provided a restful time while on our trip.
- 5/5
Best part pets stays free
- 4/5
This hotel has been refurbished not to long ago. For the most part, it was in very good repair. The only negative thing i have to say is the bed (K) was hard as a rock. Even my husband who loves a firm mattress said it was the hardest he's slept on in a long time. Other than that, it was disappointing that they no longer serve breakfast. There was coffee and some individually wrapped blueberry muffins, however. It looks like they never resumed after the whole "no breakfasts" during covid.
- 1/5
Nothing to like about this terribly run hotel. The manager was unbelievably rude. On two occasions, room service personnel walked into my room without knocking and my beagle ran out the door. On each occasion it took days to reaquire her. Those employees who worked under the manager were equally as rude, save one. Bizarre leadership.
- 5/5
Very nice stay.
- 1/5
I didn't like the fact it was labeled wonderful when it was opposite. Rooms falling apart. And there was a tick or bed bug or something on my bed.
- 3/5
Sticky surfaces Rattling heater fan
- 2/5
The bedding was fine. It must have been the floors. If it hadn’t been so late when we checked in, I would have requested a different room. A previous stay did not have that issue.
- 4/5
Was a very acceptable property for a 1 night stopover. Nothing fancy, but a good, affordable place to sleep. Room was big, clean and quiet. Staff all very pleasant.
- 5/5
Convenient to shopping and dining
- 5/5
Nice clean big room.
- 2/5
Ok
- 3/5
The price was good. The statement: "price you pay is what you get", is true! The room was not the cleanest. Cob webs in corners, walls dirty (need to be painted). Window did not shut all the way. Bed appeared to be clean! Bath towels way to Small. Front desk, very nice!
- 3/5
Some of furnishings need replacement: mattress, desk chair, carpet. Virtually no breakfast, minimal coffee.
- 5/5
Staff friendly and helpful Nice place
- 5/5
Everything was good but, it needs to be renovated. The floors and walls need to be worked on and new mattresses are needed. Other than that it is great hotel.
- 5/5
Good place to stop while traveling. Clean room. Pet friendly.
- 2/5
Property showed severe signs of ageing and wear, soiled upholstery on chair in my room. Breakfast was a joke, someone had gone to the grocery store and purchased a limited quantity of english muffins, danishes and muffins, and dumped it all on a table unpacked. Also no cream for the terrible coffee.
- 1/5
The place is infested with roaches. Under the refrigerator, in the bathroom, under the night stand, under the bed. They are everywhere. The smoke detector was ripped off the wall. I was snagged by the frame of the mirror as I walked into the room. I could hear everything in the adjacent rooms. The floor was filthy, not just dirty and the place stinks.
- 5/5
Nice stay for the price
- 3/5
Bathroom looks very old and dirty looking
- 4/5
I liked the location of the property, because it was at the end of a less-frequently traveled road, and therefore was quiet. There were several restaurants located nearby Parking was convenient. Furnishings were adequate. I felt some areas in the bathroom could have been cleaner.
- 3/5
It needs updating! Floors are worn out, light fixtures missing because new bulbs won’t fit unless you leave the covers off. Owner needs to invest money back into the hotel.
- 2/5
The entire floor was sticky, disquisting! Cafe was good.
- 4/5
Much cleaner and well maintained than other red roof inns that i have previously stayed in
- 2/5
This hotel was very dingey and needs a major overhaul. The floor was dirty and had holes in it. There was surgical tape on the wall. The walls had drip stains on them. There was a hair ball in the bathroom floor. The staff up front was nice but that's about all I can say.
