    Check in was quick and easy. All the staff I dealt with were friendly and helpful. Had lunch in the restaurant and service and food was great. Room was clean comfortable and quiet. Only issue we had was the card reader going in and out of the parking garage. Didn’t like my cards. Tried reprogramming them a couple of times but they just didn’t work. Staff was accommodating getting us in and out. Would definitely stay there again if we are in the area.

    What was most disappointing is that I booked two nights and was unable to use both of them due to travel. I could not get a refund for the second night and I arrived to late to fully enjoy the first night. Also paying for parking was very inconvenient.

    I paid to stay at the property, so parking should have been included and should not have been charged separately. However, I was charged a self-parking fee, which I believe was applied in error. If the charge was intentional, then I strongly believe the hotel should reconsider this policy, as charging paying guests an additional fee for parking is unreasonable and detracts from the overall guest experience.

    The room was clean. I was in an existential crisis and the staff were so nice and understanding and curators. I was a mess and they were so nice. I’m so thankful hit for only them but also the free transit to the airport/ shuttle service. The driver was so personable and relatable and cute. Glad i chose to stay there during a hard period of time

    Unfortunately, my experience was negatively impacted due to an injury I sustained while entering the airport shuttle. The seatbelt latch appeared to be defective and exposed sharp metal, which caused a cut to the middle of my left hand. Since the incident, I have been experiencing substantial discomfort, including pain, numbness, and difficulty with flexibility in my hand and wrist area. I was extremely uncomfortable throughout the night due to the severity of the pain and irritation following the injury. I intend to seek medical attention once I arrive at my final destination. I wanted to formally bring this matter to your attention, as guest safety should remain a top priority and I believe this defect poses a risk to others as well.

    The hotel is old in overall and maintenance is not up to the Westin grade. Based on my pass travel experience, Westin should be in the same level as Sheraton, but it is not this time.

    This was a nice property in many respects and nice staff. Clean, good breakfast buffet, free shuttle service to airport and local aviation museum. If we were staying more than one night, we would have requested another room. We were in 901. The issue we had in the room was the noisy refrigerator and toilet while trying to sleep. Both need to be replaced. The fridge would make loud noises when turning off, which happed several times during the night, and the toilet would run periodically as well. Water must be draining so that the tank needs to fill itself up. Needless to say, we did not get a good night’s sleep. Because of this fact, we had to give a lower rating despite the other excellent qualities of the property.

    The room itself was fine except for a very tired and pilled bedspread on one bed and a dirty robe in the bathroom. The toilet ran incessantly all night. This Westin isn’t as nice as it once was. It’s always been our go-to when flying in and out of Dulles. Might be time to make a change.

    The rooms were ckean..couple of stains in the hallway carpet. We were on the 8th floor. Peole that had room service left used utensils and glasses in the hall by their door and they were there all day. We left and were gone over i hours and they were still in the hall when we returned.

    So the room was OK, the bed was super soft but then they had four pillows and all pillows are so thick, we’re impossible to sleep on unless you want your neck at a 45° angle and also my wife is a stomach sleeper so she couldn’t use the pillow zero so we had a terrible night sleep again. The bed was super soft, but they totally missed it on the pillows. They should have with four pillows. They should have option for a couple of the pillows to be medium thickness and an option for one very slim then below for stomach sleepers, breakfast was just so so nothing special for breakfast.

    Friendly staff, large comfortable room, simplemeal at the bar for tired travelers. We are not used to such soft beds and voluminous pillows and prefer firmer beds. Shower in tub was a bit tricky, but that's often the case. Hand soap was appreciated. I find the bottles with plungers tiresome. Great, reliable, shuttle service to and from the airport. Elegant minimalist decor. Extra charge for wifi in room was a bit of a shock, but Mariott Bonvoy membership covers it.

    This is a hidden gem - best beds of any hotel I can think of, courteous staff, good food, perfect (peaceful) location but with an airport shuttle you're 10 minutes from Dulles. Does NOT feel like an airport hotel. I stay here whenever I need to stay over near Dulles.

    I accidentally left my phone and charger in my room after I had been dropped off at the airport was when I discovered it luckily the staff was absolutely Stellar. The driver knew who to call they got in touch with housekeeping housekeeping got what I needed out of my room and down to the next driver I went to the shuttle stop to meet The next shuttle, which arrived in 30 minutes and was given a package with everything I needed that I had left in the room. I went back into the airport, uninterrupted and luckily taken care of by an excellent staff who cared for their customer.

    As I was arriving to the hotel early Sunday morning after a long flight, I decided to pay for an extra night and book the Friday night as well. Upon checking in I was told my room had been cancelled and they are keeping money $2500. When I asked why, the hotel said it was because I did not advise them I would be checking in late and as per their policy. I then showed them the email I received from the general manager saying to have a good stay and anything else, please let her know. So, I used the reply button provided and said I would be checking in late. The hotel then told me “we don’t check those emails” and I continue to fight hotels.com and then are not replying anymore. Thieves and a scam in my opinion.

After getting off a long international flight, there was only one person helping a bus full of people checking in.     Why is my card charged an extra $97, in addition to the price I paid on Expedia? I would just like an explanation. I feel robbed by the hotel, not by Expedia, since when I arrived they asked me for a card for security, charged $127 and after several days they only charged $97 without explaining anything. I don't think it's fair since one assumes that one pays everything to Expedia.

    We loved the bedding. They had an extra soft comforter that really kept the warm, I know it sounds silly, but after sleeping on a plane, a soft bed is the most important thing to us. Checking in and out was quick and easy and late check out is absolutely a godsend.

    The Westin had the best costumer services, they were very kind to me and my son while we stayed. The Westin is under construction mostly on the first floor it was not noisy but the restaurant and dining area was as not a nice as it usually is. But the costumer services made up for it and the food was very good. I highly recommend the Westin because you don't get great costumer service anymore.

    Easy stay close to airport. Have stayed many times. Would’ve been nice to know hotel was under construction. My room was missing shampoo dispenser and thermostat didn’t seem to work as room wouldn’t go cooler than 75. But for location and staff friendliness couldn’t be better

    Check in lady was cold and rude. They said breakfast was at 6:30 and it wasn’t, it was 7 and I waited until 7 and had not opened and I had to leave. We often stay at Westins at this was unusual for me to experience the staff issue.

    My breakfast was okay. On my first plate, I had eggs & meat. When I finished eating them, then I went back to the Buffet to get a bowl and put fruits into it. When I got back to my table, I was so surprised, my coffee, two glasses of orange juice and water with ice cubes were gone! The waiter must have thought I finished my breakfast, but I was not. He saw me and came to me. I said, I want coffee! I got it again….

    Had a wonderful time the staff was very expectional. Only thing was our room had no air so it was very hot and stuffy and the elevator shut down due to a power outage. But overall everything was very good. Will be staying here again.

    Property looks good, safe and quiet. Rooms are on not that big as expected surprising part is they will charge, internet, parking, water etc all extra charges also when I stay the air conditioning is not working properly we did not even sleep and we screwed up our entire day they simply said apologies for inconvenience. Really disappointed.

    My stay was wonderful. I just wanted to get away for a night but stay locally. Never stayed at the Westin and wanted to try it out. Needless to say, I had a very peaceful and comfortable night at this hotel. Everything was great even the not breakfast (which was included in my hotel rate). Will definitely stay again!
