Good size rooms. But this specific Residence Inn seemed to lack customer service.

I truly understand if a worker is having a bad day, but this is was simple annoyance with customers and their needs while checking in.

The location was great! Breakfast was excellent and I love the fact that they had the buffet open until 10:00 am. Our King Studio was a good size, it was clean and the bedding was very clean. The grounds and pool are kept very nice and comfortable to sit at night to relax. The staff was exceptional! The hallways, doors and carpet are ready for a good update.

Staff, Sandra was great! She checked in everyone that was there, all by herself. Didn't seem like anyone else was there to help her. Rooms weren't ready, she had snacks and lemonade available. It was such a hot day. She was extremely pleasant! A person behind me said he thought she was the only one there. Hopefully not. But I truly didn't see anyone else! No lamp on the desk so looking over papers and working on my computer was a bit of a challenge. It would have been nice to have a lamp on the desk.

This property is old and needs renovations. Definitely not worth the rate we paid. There were tears in the sofa, door(at the bottom) in the bathroom, had water damage. The door needs to be replaced! The drawers are all scratched up.

Wallpaper pealing from the walls, carpet torn, paint coming off doors-everything is very dated. We were in a room facing the interstate and the traffic noise was incredible. You could hear the doors opening and closing plus loud foot traffic in the rooms above and next to us. Extremely difficult to get any sleep.

The continental breakfast was actually really good, and the rooms were comfortable.

We had some issues with room keys and Emma the desk clerk went out of her was to resolve the issue, going to our room with us and even giving us her cell phone number if we had more problems. She went above and beyond what was expected.

The lady at the front desk (wish I would have gotten her name) was awesome. I had my grandchildren 3 and 5 and she had a 4 year old. She was totally understanding of my situation and was so accommodating. Her kindness made our stay the best.

Plumbing in 225 was annoying but the staff made it all better. They were responsive and worked fast. Emma was a great breakfast host. She talked me into trying her turkey sausage and it was pretty good, then she told me if I didn't like it she was willing to make me something different. She was great!!

My son was due into DIA, where I was supposed to pick him up, but I called the hotel to let them know, and they allowed him to check in and relax while I got things sorted out, thanks to Mia Next morning, both my son I thought that breakfast ended at 10:30, but Ella was kind enough to restart the washing and drink machines for us so that we can get something to eat. Don’t remember her name, but the reception is also arranged for me to have a late check out, as I’m not moving all that well. Can’t emphasize enough how much the kindness shown to me and my son meant invisible all this other stuff.

Room was nice. Disappointed no outlets to charge phones, especially in an extended-stay ("Business") type hotel. Whole place was ok but could use a nice "refresh". Exterior exit door to parking lot did not lock.....felt a bit unsafe. Couple was arguing loudly and knocking on my room door at midnight. Breakfast buffet was pretty good. Overall ok, but probably not stay there in future.

Location comfort cleanliness I have rarely met a hotel shower I liked. This was no exception. I am a water pressure, hand held shower person. Rarely get two out of two.

Everytime I’ve stayed at Residence Inn Highland’s Ranch parking has been a snap. Easy to access my room and still see my car from the window. I love this place. N/A

Nice staff, good breakfast. Snow removal waited too long. Lots of snow still on sidewalks late in the morning. Water leaked from shower onto floor, no seal. Created a puddle on the floor and was removing paint from bottom of bathroom door. Handles on shower doors were very loose. No seal around main (front) door, light came in all around door. Just a lack of maintenance.

I had booked 3 rooms and all parties were very happy with our accommodations. The rooms were clean, friendly staff and location was central to the various activities we had to attend.

The lobby/clubhouse building is beautiful with great breakfast included. The rooms are nice, clean, and well kept. The staff is always friendly and accommodating to my needs for early check ins and late check outs. I called around to several other hotels who could not tell me whether I’d be able to check in early or not so this was a huge deciding factor for me on my initial visit and remains why I keep coming back! This hotel is set up more like apartments really in several different buildings which I don’t necessarily LOVE, but it has its pros and cons. All hallways are interior and access to each building is controlled by key card only, so you don’t have random people inside the building who don’t belong there, although it does make food delivery slightly less convenient.

I love this inn! Room is just right with a separate bedroom from living space, large vanity and closet, desk, couch and dining set. Large bottles of shampoo, conditioner and body wash attached to shower wall...lots of water pressure! Nice thick towels. Staff is very helpful and friendly (thank uou, Emma). The hot breakfast is the best -- had a spinach, tomato and feta cheese fritata today, lots of choices, good variety. Room, facility and grounds are clean. Close parking. Tv in both rooms. Bed and pillows are comfy. Microwave, coffee maker (slide in trays provided by Inn) stove, full size fridge/freezer with ice maker, and dishwasher. Room and kitchen supplies were spotless. Everything smells clean. Even the couch and throw pillows are comfy. Easy to relax here. Great stay and exceptional value. Can't wait to come back!

Nada. This place is clean, quiet, and close to restaurants!

Hallways had a weird smell. Walls were marked up and dirty. Carpets had several stains. I had a two bedroom room that 6 were supposed to sleep in and the pull out bed was not large enough for 2 people. I asked for a roll away and was told by Ben the manager that they are a fire hazard and they didn't have them. I had to make other arrangements for 2 of the people that were going to stay with us.

Excellent room, very fine breakfast, and staff was easy to work with. We especially appreciated the work an help of Anthony in Maintenance. And of course, Ben at the helm was very helpful, gracious, and friendly. Thanks to all! The room we were first in (306?) had a non-functioning thermostat in the heating unit. We were changed to 310.

Staff is excellent in an older-in need of renovation facility. The low toilets and very short vanity heights reckon back to the 1980's. Building accessibility was a big challenge for my wife with her freshlybroken ankle.

Though this hotel is obviously older and has some wear, the rooms were neat and clean. The beds were very comfortable. The amenities were nice. A great little "efficiency apartment!. The breakfast was great! Huhe variety of options for a full, nutritious meal.Wonderful coffee in the room packets as well as at the breakfast area.The staff worked so hard and were friendly.

The reception staff was very helpful. I made a request for additional washcloths and we were given them every day. The breakfast was very good and the counters around the food were kept clean. Our room was very comfy for three. We did have a problem with the door into the bathroom as it wasn't hung correctly, but we figured out how to close it without having to bang on the door. The problem was communicated to reception upon check-out and they were going to have maintenance look at it. The only "bad" thing was the speed bump coming into the hotel - it was a very rough ride coming into the lot.

This was our first time staying in a studio type hotel. Everything was wonderful all around.

The breakfast on the first 3 days of our trip was excellent - eggs warm, oatmeal of good consistency, breakfast croissants tasty, blueberry muffins stocked up. In the last 3 days, the quality of food was not equal to the first 3 days. Everything else: staff, room comfort and temperature, and cleaning services were excellent.

Two hours before check I got a message saying they down graded my room due to no air conditioning. I was exhausted and just drove 14.5 hours for a wedding. I ended up staying at another hotel which also inconvenienced my family member who was going to share a room with me. I have not experienced this with Marriot before so this was a big disappointment.

Well, when we got there, they only had one room on Expedia I requested two rooms next to each other so had to go back and talk to the gentleman who was very nice but gave us rooms very far apart. He said they were filled but the parking lot was not full at all. My room was very nice exempt the shower which was hard to open the glass door and there was mold on the bottom of the shower. They really need to make a bigger sign on the outside of the building because it was very hard to find.

An aging property in dire need of a renovation. Popcorn ceilings, stains in the carpet, foul smells, etc. The staff was excellent and refunded our money.

It's a nice hotel and a very good location. Nice area and easy to get on the highway/interstate for sight-seeing. Grocery store close by to buy food so you can cook in the fully-stocked kitchen. Would stay again.

We were so pleased by the courteous and prompt staff and how nice the room was. The check in staff and the on-site manager were attentive and helpful and went above and beyond to make our stay great! We will definitely be back.

Ease of location

Hotel was very convenient location. They overbooked our room type, so we got changed to two rooms, but they made it better by giving us a credit back. Hallways are very dark and hotel seems very old and in need of some updates. The bathroom cupboards in our room looked like it was very dinged and abused. Good for an evening and great service, but didn't feel overly clean when in hallways.

Although it's kept up very well, the property is somewhat dated. Rooms & furnishings have seen better days, although there's something to be said about not throwing out what's not broken. The room we were in had dressing area that was not able to be separated from the main room. For longer stay, there's a full kitchen, which could be good. Our 5-day reservation was considered "long" though so I wonder about even longer.

Checked late at 11:30 PM and left the next morning but, all was well while I was there.

Excellent way point for anyone traveling to the mountains. Clean, safe, and cost conscious this hotel is perfect for traveling families.

Nice property and good location if you need to be south of Denver

When we needed to switch to a 2 bedroom due to my partners cough (and my snoring) staff upgraded and switched us for no extra cost and with good grace. The new room even had a fireplace! Staff gets five stars.

It had everything we needed for our stay. LOTS of room!!! Quiet and lots of amenities close by, plus close to the freeway. Clean and everything inside the room worked great. Will definitely stay again if I have to be in the area.

Pros: The room was spacious and the front desk staff was welcoming. Cons: The room was directly next to the highway and in the flight path of an airport so it was very noisy when trying to sleep. Also housekeeping came in only once during our 4 night stay and only changed the towels and did nothing else!

We were given a room that had several broken or missing amenities for our first of three nights. We were told it was because they were overbooked. I would have given them 1/5 but the staff was able to find a better room for our other 2 nights. The replacement room had a huge rip in the chair cushion and missing coffee pot but other than that was satisfactory.

We came for a funeral and I should’ve said that because I think you get money off on it. And we use this location a lot since our relatives are in the area so we will be back. It is a nice place to gather.

It's a lovely property. Even though it is close to the freeway our room was quiet. The bed was very comfortable and we slept well. Having the extra room in a suite was very convenient. Space was just what we needed as a family of 4! The air conditioner wasn’t the greatest but they provided fans when we asked and that made the evenings much better! Breakfast was good and stocked well each morning! Pool was a nice touch also!!

The gentleman that checked us in did a great job at explaining housekeeping expectations. Room was clean. Breakfast was good. There was some road noise being so close to the highway. Still a great location that is close to everything you would need during your stay.

First - the staff were amazing and were very gracious and helpful. I diid not like the garden rooms which were below the first floor. For someone who is claustrophobic this was a bit rough. Second there was sticky stuff on the carpet so did not walk around without shoes on. And after a very long day of driving- I would have preferred not to be woken up by banging right outside the window to replace an AC unit. Understand maintenance is necessary but not at 9:30am. Perhaps wait until after checkout time OR notify the guests upon check in. Great location - safe and near many different food options within walking distance!

Thoughtfully laid out, decorated, and maintained place. Spacious suite and nice staff. Convenient basecamp to Red Rocks, Idaho Springs, and Colorado Springs. Grilled in the courtyard, used basketball court, made a meal in the suite kitchen, the breakfast settup was the best I've ever had in a self-serve hotel. Our only disappointment was that the pool was not in working order the entire 90°F week we were visiting with 4 kids, which was one reason we chose the peoperty online.

Upon checking in our room had a broken sofa bed and a phone that didn't work to even call the office. They moved us to a different room however the pics online aren't quite the best representation of the property. The hotel is older and needs some upgrades. We had to swap out our towels several times and even though we requested housekeeping services never received it until we finally went and asked about why they weren't coming and it was the day before we checked out and we stayed 5 nights. Hotel has a weird odor and the halls are dirty and dingy.

Everything was great with the exception of housekeeping. We stayed six nights and only showed up once. All they did was take out the trash and provide new towels that one time. Didn’t vacuum or do anything else in the room. Even with this little inconvenience, I still plan to come back. Their breakfast was great and onsite amenities are even better. My kids enjoyed the pool, basketball court, and fire pit.

The only ac the room had was a single in room unit that was vented out the window next to the bed. Since it was vented by the bed the window didn't close all the way and you could hear the traffic from the freeway. You could also hear the water the ac unit was taking out of the air dripping inside the unit with no drain. There was a nasty smell in the room, i dont know if it was mold in the mobile ac unit because of no drain or it was coming from the sink drain.

Never received any housekeeping service.

The suite was spacious and had a fully equipped kitchenette. It was well designed, clean and quite comfortable. I am disabled and on crutches or use a mobility scooter. I was in a disabled room that had a ramp coming up to the door or the building, but the door was quite heavy and opened outward, which makes it physically impossible for one on a mobility scooter. My scooter was useless there which meant I had to rely on crutches.

We were on the ground level, below the lobby level. The layout of the levels felt weird, and the ground level felt a little dungeony. Having one central elevator that went down to that level made for long waits if other guests were traveling upstairs.
