Nice property

I loved the location of the hotel. An amazing friendly staff and really great breakfast!

The breakfast options were great, but for dinner we for frozen meals from the market on-site and they had clearly thawed and re-frozen. For $12 each, I would expect more care to food safety. We were also charged an extra fee for the mall we purchased from the bar and took back to our room. Not room service, just for taking it back to our room.

Wonderful hotel and staff! Clean and included many amenities many other hotels so not have my next trip will definitely include booking with Residence!

Stayed one night with a pet and got a $170 surcharge. Oh and a $12 parking fee for a hotel in the middle of nowhere. And I’m a Marriott member.

The cleaning staff was so sweet and accommodating, but even the breakfast staff was rude! They ran out of waffle mix at 9 am. Since breakfast ends at 9:30 they say that was all for the day. I have pictures to prove it. Horrible! They just don’t care. The guest is an inconvenience to staff.

It was clean and a great space if you had more than one night there. We got the king suite with a kitchenette and small couch area. Went to a ballgame just about a mile away at the Hillsboro Ballpark which was super cool being Diamondbacks fans.

Great accomodations, plenty of parking, the rooms were clean, and the overall staff was very accommodating. Would recommend and we would select again if in the area.

When we checked out we were charged $150.00 for a pet cleaning. Our dog did nothing in the room. The original room charge of $259 turn into a $483 charge at checkout.

We had two rooms but one vehicle. I was charged $20.00 twice for what I don’t know. Parking? But there only one car for one night. Incidentals? We didn’t have any.

Nice and quiet - well equipped kitchen, a comfortable bed, nice variety and amount of pillows, and cozy top blanket, (not the thin sheet offered at other hotels). The wifi speed was also great. I had a great stay and would stay here again.

Love the kitchenette! We were in town for a soccer tournament so we didn't have to get fast food the entire time. We filled the full size fridge and made a few meals on the stove top! We also liked the ease of getting downstairs and to the parking lot. My teen and her friends has fun on the three hole putting green. Hotel and grounds were very clean. We felt safe (it was just my daughter and I on this trip. The lobby area/dining room is so nice and modern. The outdoor area is very nice as well! We will be back!

I like staying here. it’s close to my kiddos, mostly a great price and you have got to love the shower and the king size bed. We had a fire alarm go off and spent about 25 min outside, waiting for the fire department. Not the hotels fault.

My stay at the Residence ended up being two weeks. I had my 2 dogs. There was so much grass and great walking areas. I was very impressed with the cleanliness of the property. The outside trash cans were emptied several times a day. Anything left outside the rooms like laundry or garbage was picked up right away. The breakfast was simple and always well stocked. Staff very friendly and helpful. All in all my dogs and I were very comfortable

I highly recommend this place. It is very clean, including the indoor pool. Breakfast is also great.

Despite all good features, the noise coming from a motor or engine in the hotel through the walls was so loud that I couldn’t sleep during my 2 nights stay.

The check-in time was changed from 3pm to 4pm. Was not aware of the change but a room was available shortly after 3pm. Not a big deal but knowing ahead would have been better.

The room was great! This room was larger and better furnished than most I've stayed in. My only issue was that the shower never got warm.

Hotels used to have a book that would tell about amenities and local food/gas options - is that possible or not with Covid? It would have been nice to have found a little more information.

Very clean. The staffs are very friendly and helpful. Will stay again in the future. The best resident Inn we have ever stayed so far. The pool was awesome. You get to reserve 45 minutes for your family up to 6 people. This hotel is so far the best👍 not too much negative about the hotel.

My room was very close only 1 floor up and the room was ready for me to crash

I would have liked a bit more space for the four of us. A second bed would have been preferred over the sofa sleeper. Having an oven in the kitchenette would have been perfect!

My stay was great no issues. They were handling the continental breakfast in a very sanitary and safe way for staff hand us. Was very happy and satisfied.

The reason I am not giving this stay a better rating is that the management changed my room from a one bedroom to a studio without notifying me. The manager stated that he emailed me about the change which was a complete lie. He did lower my room rate but the price of the room was never an issue....I would not have reserved a one bedroom if I couldn’t afford it. The studio was way too small but it was too late to make other accommodations. I already had plans to meet up with other family members. My dissatisfaction is with management. I stay at Residence Inn during 90% of my travel and this was so disappointing.

I travel a lot so I started taking my own coffee pot I was stunned to have a studio kitchenette with a regular coffee pot! Everything about this two day stay was superb! When I go to this area again will stay here period !!!!!

Nice, new property. Pet fee of $100 per night for one night's stay is outrageous. I understand long-term guests would need a brake but short-term guests shouldn't have to subsidize. If the mission is to weed out short-termers, mission accomplished. I won't be booking or recommending this property again.

Overall we had a good stay other than there was ants everywhere in the bathroom and some in the kitchen.

I liked a lot of it - location, condition of the property, breakfast, etc. Not much recycle options in the suite though.

Very nice park behind property to walk the dogs, clean hotel and new. Just wished there was not a 100$ fee for pets! My goodness! That is super steep. I’ve stayed at many hotels that are $15-50 max- especially for one night!

I completely enjoyed our stay, it was in a central point for my trip. Staff were friendly, and helpful.

Room was very comfortable and breakfast good. Also, the evening happy hour meals were priced well and the portions hearty!

Amazing staff, right as I walked in Bernadette was very helpful and made me feel welcomed, she also took the time to inform me about the Marriott Bonvoy, while the other employee was taking care of the costumer in front of her as 2 ladies that were staying at the hotel were trying to talk over her and interrupt her and her costumer, breakfast was good with a lot of choices, I stayed there with my girlfriend and 2 kids, a 7yo and a 1yo we all had many things to choose from, i travel a lot and have stayed in all different hotels, but this so far one of my top 3

Very nice hotel. Wonderful spacious room. Good breakfast. Very friendly staff. Only down side was that this hotel does not have a covered entry. If it is raining (often here) there is no protected area to unload ones luggage. Even so, I would stay here again.

One of the receptionist was so rude. Once when we took a dog treat ( as we had a dog along with our stay) She just looked at me so odd and i tried to ask and explain, she was completely unapologetic. Then when we asked for an extra lotion and we faced the same rude comment. The breakfast buffet was so terrible. It had nothing like muffins, hash browns and they repeated the same exact small set the next day too. Over all we had a very bad experience.

Room was nice and clean, i enjoyed my stay. My problem was with billing. We booked and paid through expedia. When we checked in they asked for a credit card, ok totally understabable. When we checked out i noticed not one but two charges from the hotel. I called and they stated it was an error and would refund. I still have no refund as of this review.

First night was very unfortunate. A car alarm went off in the hotel's parking lot at 4:30 AM. I called the front desk but they did not take any action. The alarm went off for more than 2 hours without any action from the hotel. The next day I tried to reach the manager buy she never contacted me back

We stay here every time we come to hillsboro. We love the room, the breakfast, and the pool. It’s clean and comfortable.

This fairly new hotel as a lot to offer both families and business travelers alike. As true to the Residence Inn brand, every room is a mini suite with everything you need from home at your fingertips. The clean kitchen had utensils, the bathroom had nice Paul Mitchell hair products, the bed had many pillows. The hotel is dog friendly and our two furry friends had a great stay as well. Check in was a breeze.

Nice and quiet rooms. Love having a kitchen and accessible grill to use. Our only complaint there was no air circulating in the room overnight, so all three of us were pretty stuffed up. My little boy woke up and couldn’t breathe. We were on the first floor on this trip. Our previous stay 2 weeks before, our room was on the third floor and we had no problem.

No problems at all , parking was great

My tv didn’t work at first but the front desk sent someone to fix it right away. The bathroom was modern and very clean which is a big deal to me. No tub in my room though, and my youngest hates showers so it was a bit of a struggle. Overall I would stay again. Very friendly staff.

The suites were spacious and a welcoming floor plan. We were on floor 2 by the side door which made it convenient to get in and out of the facility without having to go to through lobby. Having said that, we were next to 2 families whose kids made a lot of noise so perhaps the staff should take that into consideration when assigning rooms.

We stayed here for a week while our kitchen and floors were being remodeled and we had such a relaxing time it was hard to leave!

We've stayed here many times. It is clean and comfortable and the staff is great. Lots of good options for breakfast as well. We will be staying here again when we need a place in the Hillsboro area for sure!

There were no rooms available along the ocean, so we booked a room here and drove over the mountains in the dark... when we arrived they told us they did not have the room available that I had booked. The staff was trying to find us a room- We ended up in Corvallis over an hour away at 1:30 am.😞

Our room was ready eventhough we came in 30 minutes earlier of check in time. Teresa was very nice, cordial and explained everything about the hotel. The hotel is new, very clean and modern. We love the lobby, it's relaxing bcoz of the TV, nice chandeliers and overall modern design. There's a grilling area and chairs close to the swimming pool(indoor) if you want to hang out with friends or just stay inside by the bar for a wine on certain hours. The room was nice and modern as well. We stayed in a studio type room with King bed and sofa bed, it worked out well for us. There's also a dishwasher and small kitchen area with cups, glasses inside the room. A single door big refrigerator to store food or drinks if you bring some with you. Free breakfast is included for all checked in guests but there's some restaurants or pizza shops close by if you prefer something else. Overall, the place is very nice and service is great. I will stay here again if my family wil be on the road again in Portland, Oregon area.

The location and room were excellent as expected from a Residence Inn. But the reception and check-in experience was more like you get at a hospital check in, no smiling face or greeting, just asking for information. Worst part was the so-called breakfast - way overcrowded, small food area, food items quickly ran out and not topped up, overworked staff.

We stayed for a baseball tournament. The location is great and we enjoyed our stay.
