Very loud occupants who woke us up all through the night banging doors and running up the stairs. The hotel room curtains were off the rail and had holes in them. There was no toothpaste, one tiny bottle of shampoo and two soaps. There was a heavy smell of weed throughout the property up until the room. The keypad on the door was broken. No breakfast was provided even though it was advertised as such. Very poor stay we didn’t sleep all night and had to leave at 6 am. The tub and toilet were scratched and dirty and I was not impressed with the general state of cleanliness. Would not recommend for families, or anyone with young children as the lodge is situated in the back of a parking lot right off of the main street. 2 stars because the AC worked.

There were roaches and gnats in the room. When they come to clean the room they don’t wipe things down or sweep or mop causing roaches and gnats to appear.

The bed was comfortable and the area was decent enough to lay my head I didn’t like the fact that when I came into the room it smelled like pure smoke like somebody definitely smoked in the room but it was overall good because the women gave us some air fresheners

Me and my wife stay here frequently when we're in Houston. The hotel is clean, safe and quiet. The staff was friendly and actually cared how our stay was.

The hotel had roaches really bad. They he roaches were crawling in the bed and even got into our food. Very nasty! We moved rooms and the next room had mold all in the air conditioner unit I woke up sick the next morning. I asked to check out early and get a refund for the remainder of the stay was told no they don’t give out refunds.

The room felt unsafe like anyone could just break in.

No top on toilet tank.Tub stop up 30 minutes for water to drain. Water dripping from the tub faucet. And the room floors were damp . And noise from upstairs all night. That was just money wasted.

I reserved a non smoking room but smoke smell was everywhere. Towels were dirty. I think the hotel rating isn’t real!

We booked a handicap accessible room but we were told when we got there that the accessible room was already occupied. We were given a regular room and my wife was able to move about in her wheelchair however the bathtub was very small. The front desk person said that we could check into the accessible room the following day but we wouldn’t have been there at the time she would need us to switch so we declined. We had to use a bucket as a seat to transition into the tub. Found an empty incense box in the bathroom drawer. The room smelled like mildew. The smoke detector was detached from the ceiling. I walked it over to the front office to let them know and they said it was fine like that. Went to the front office to ask for a few more towels due to housekeeping not tending to our room while we were away. The front office person said housekeeping wasn’t available on Sunday and pointed to a small printed sign stating such. On our first night a man pounded on our door at 1am. He stayed there for a few minutes until I opened the door with my wife standing to the side, out of sight with our weapon ready. I asked him what he wanted and he walked away. The morning we checked out a woman was trying to run over her boyfriend in the parking lot and they proceeded to fist fight while walking into their room. There was a lot of unsupervised children walking around with adults partying at all hours. We certainly got what we paid for.

It was a pretty decent motel for the price, every hard to find the entrance I had to make uturns twice, would definitely stay there again, and they had good tv channels with hbo

Picture of the outside looks exactly like what’s posted on site. Once I made it to check in the receptionist was very UNFRIENDLY, showing emotion as if he did not want to be there. He slid the check in sheet for me to sign in and didn’t specify what I was signing, rudely. Once checked in, could not find any parking spot to park, unlocked room door and I asked myself what the hell did I book. Everything about the room was dirty, stale smoke smell embedded in room, crack under the door where you could see outside. Meaning, enough room for critters to crawl inside and leave back out if chosen. Roll of toilet paper that was left on the roll shown it was used from a previous stay. Everything about the room was horrible. I felt like a construction worker that had booked for weekly ratings. HORRIBLE!!!! Reviews and ratings others left were definitely lies.

First of all the representative taking our information there in the office was very unfriendly. And the lobby area needs to be updated and it smells very smoky. The room also smelled bad like smoky and dirty.. Also Rooms need Updated and new comforters with NEW Pillows

We were placed in a smoking room even though I explained my children have asthma, then was told I could be placed in a one bed room non smoking but clearly I book a double bed for a reason there was 4 people. I asked for a refund so I could get a new room and the desk clerk argued with me for ever. I started recording and made him sign a paper stating I did not stay and he STILL charged me. This smoking room was so bad the moment we walked in I got a head ache and my daughter needed her inhaler. It looks like the roughest hotel in the area, hair on the bed, broken furniture… sticky floors. It was horrible for the 13 seconds we were in there

All was great n all. Rooms were clean, no nasty odors. Like all hotels are so different. So decided to extend the stay :) Thank u :)

At 6:00 p.m. I received a call from the Manager asking me what time I was checking in. I didn't know the exact time. He told me he was cancelling my reservation since the debit card I had posted to hold my room didn't have sufficient funds. I had intended to use my bank card to pay for the room. But I told him "to go ahead and cancel the room."

nice and quiet. the area doesn’t necessarily seem safe if it wasn’t for the reassurance of the staff and flood lights and cameras that the property has invested in.

It was the worse hotel I have ever had..I couldn’t stand the smell of the room,The smell of urine fills the entire room..the staff didn’t wanna help and tried to use my money

Really a dirty place. Picture on wall had busted glass inside. Staff was rude. No room service. No coffee or breakfast. Manager said he had to order coffee. Coffee did come the last day we were there.

Very unprofessional front staff. Tv remote not working, tries calling front desk but phone in room dead, no dial tone, had to call with personal phone. Was told management aware of phone after the batteries were replaces in remote. Surprisingly phone rang in room in the morning to remind of check out but dead when you try to dial out. Room was shabby, bes uncomfortable and banging noises all through the night. I had no idea this was one of those hourly rental motels, so you can imagine how its kept. Never booking this hotel ever again. Advice to anyone to stay clear if you have standards. Only booked because it was closer home because my ac went out in home. You get what you pay for, being cheap.

Very disappointed with our stay , we checked out 1 day early due to the conditions ( lost 1 nights rate) . The property looked as if it was used for ppls long term homes . Very run down with bugs (roaches & another bug I could not identify) . No breakfast at all only poorly hand written signs taped on the wall saying No breakfast coffee only 24hrs . Iron, ironing board & blow dryer did not work . With us traveling almost 1200 miles by car it was worth packing up after our event and heading bk home early because the stay was not pleasant at all .

The staff was very rude. Then when going to our room several people were standing around our room door and would not move. They wouldn't leave and were very rude. We did not feel safe so we just turned in our key cards and left. The staff was very rude also

Generally, I’ve always felt like I can trust the ratings on the this site, but this stay is making me question if this is really the case. The room felt disgusting and poorly maintained. The sheets, curtains and couch were all stained. The fridge and counters were super beat up. There were holes in the walls. Outside car alarms were going off constantly and loud music was blasting from other rooms up until 5am. I don’t feel like I came in with too high of expectations, I was just looking for a clean bed to sleep in, but I don’t feel like I even got that. I’ll be taking extra precautions at the end of this trip just to make sure I’m not bring home bed bugs.

This hotel has everything that you need to stay, .like the little things. Enough plugs on the wall, full size ironing board and iron, light switches in the right place, clean floors, stocked bathroom and good internet.

The room we received after an extra fee and 2 beds that separated us had black-mold right next to the TV and roaches that seemed to come from the bathroom. Finally the next morning one of my partners found bed bug bites on their foot and legs. On the way out left our phone number with instructions for the manager to call us ASAP and 2 days now have not been contacted willing to bet we dont get a call (after we've called 3 different numbers and got "sunny" on the line) 100% will NEVER stay here again and sending a report to the BBB

The property is very modest, no pool but we did not need much in that way. What was frustrating was that it was advertised they had free breakfast included, but they had discontinued having breakfast and only had coffee from 6-9 AM. I always stay where there is free breakfast to decrease the cost of traveling.

The Floor Plan Was Nice. The Paint Shades Of Light Brown & Darker Brown Was Nice. The Area Is Very Clean & Well Kept Up. The Manager Is Very Rude. House- keepers Doesn't Speak English, 1 Lady I know she does and is very sweet. The others complain about toilet paper and give dirty towels , I was evicted for trying to return dirty towels that was put in my room by the house - keepers . The manager assisted that I leave after I paid my money and did not give any problems other than the one they gave me at my stay at the Econo Lodge

Description said breakfast. It was not available. Maybe at least a box breakfast would have been nice. Looks like hotels will use COVID as a reason to stop offering it. Otherwise good hotel.

Our room and outside reeked of Marijuana. We kept spraying fabreeze, but our stuff smelled of it to after we left. Ceiling fan wires and other wires hanging from Ceiling. Beds very hard. Didnt seem very clean. Front desk staff was nice though.

I loved everything about the stay the only problem I had was the refrigerator would not stay cold

The area is okay, but the service was horrible. The rooms front door was bent with a big opening on the bottom and top letting in all the hot air from outside and everyone thats out there can hear anything going on inside the room. the bathroom smelled like pee soaked into the flooring, the room smelled like ciggarrettes, there is no room service like its said to be available, there is not housekeeping everyday so you have to take your own towls and sheels down to the office and ask them for new ones which is rediculous, breakfast for 2 was definetley not available like its promised in my contract for the booking of the room, their breakfast for 2 consists of orange juice and apple juice, thats it.... totally not recommending this place.

The property was clean and quite only stayed for one night. Double queen beds was comfortable.

They don't clean the rooms properly. Found a woman's dirty underwear there and the sink wasn't fully cleaned. The maids don't speak English for any assistance. It's noisy with people smoking outside, lack of privacy because you can hear inside the rooms.

It was advertised as a 2 bedroom efficiency with a pull out sofa bed but it was a 2 bed standard room.

I only stayed one night but for the one night I like my room . It was clean and a nice room as well, I like the fact it was next to a Starbucks and cvs and also across from a bar and restaurants. Great location

everything was acceptable, beds, linens, tv, A/C, etc. It could have been a little more clean, but it was "clean dirt" i.e. they just needed to mop the floors from someone's muddy boots.
