    Clean; convenient location for us. Our stay was torpedoed by a thunderstorm-caused power outage the first night. While service to the area was restored by mid morning, the hotel was still without power at 6pm, with no prognosis for restoration. We canceled the remaining 4 days of our reservation and moved elsewhere. The hotel refunded our one-night stay.

    Breakfast was 25 a person for typical hotel food that should be complimentary, price is way too high for what your given. Parking is 9 dollars a day. We reserved a room for double beds but were shocked to see they were just barely larger then two twin beds. We assumed they would be two queen size beds since that's been our experience at every hotel we've stayed in, in the past. Furniture was very warn down, cabinet to fridge never closed would swing open constantly. Room was always hot even with windows shut and AC going . No microwave in the room. A very scary safety concern was we went down the stairs and the 2nd floor door was boarded up so u couldn't continue down the stairs. That's a fire safety concern.

    The night manager Andrea was a treat, she was very pleasant and helped us out massively. Rude receptionist, smelly and damp room. I’ve never experienced a damp bed it was gross. Moved rooms at 3am, still terrible. Left early and got a refund for the following night.

    The room was clean and comfortable, and the location was convenient for visiting NASA and the surrounding area. The view of the lake was nice, and overall the hotel atmosphere was quiet and relaxing. Ice was not available during my stay, which was disappointing. Also, there seemed to be a duplicate parking charge, so guests may want to double-check their parking fees after checkout.

    We liked our room ….had a view of the lake. It was comfortable and cozy and clean…. the lotion in the bathroom smelt amazing.! We liked trying the different flavored waters every morning in the lobby. The only downside would have been that the pool was not up and running or functional. My daughter was looking forward to swimming.

    The breakfast was overpriced, and the lake view room fell short of expectations in terms of upkeep. The TV console drawers were loose and wouldn’t stay closed, the full-size mirror was broken and had been removed without replacement, the lakeside windows were foggy, and the accent chair was missing its ottoman.

    The photos on hotels.com are AI photos and the rooms look nothing like what is posted. The lobby is very nice but once you exit the elevator onto your floor, the smell of must/mold is very strong. After entering our room, we found a pair of dirty socks on the floor. The AC didn’t work in “lake view room” so we were moved to a different room and the AC was bad in that room also. There was a bug trap next to our toilet, which tells me there is a bug issues. The hotel is very outdated and not what you’d except out of a Hilton. Much better options in that area

    We aren’t sure what has disappointed us the most. The tub is rusted, the shower doesn’t get warmer than room temperature, there is fast food trash in the hallways, the AC constantly drips water onto the carpet, the whole hotel smells musty, including the pillows, the tables at the dining room are sticky, and to top it off, there are about 10 working channels on the TV’s, 11 if you count the Guide. The staff were friendly though, that’s worth a star.

    Property is quite dated so while the room was spacious it had a mouldy smell and the walls are paper thin, kept awake late into the night by next door rooms TV and talking on calls. the gym is very good. loved the view over the lake from the room and gym. the breakfast is passable. advertised as walking distance to space center but its a really busy road and dodgy sidewalks so we ended up taking ubers everywhere. would be nice if hotel had a shuttle service for space centre and nearby restaurants

    The hotel is so old and has just been given the landlord special with paint over the issues. There’s cracking on the doors and on the orders of the framing. The carpet smells and I’m pretty sure there’s mold in the rooms. Stay somewhere else please

    The Room was very clean, carpet was a little dated but clean, staff was exceptional friendly and professional, breakfast buffet was great with fresh items and an omelette bar. The Luna Restaurant has a great view and the food was ok, however, might need some improvement on the cooking (salmon and chicken both a little overcooked/dry and potatoes undercooked) the spa was nice clean with a great view and everything worked!! Overall a pleasant stay at the Hilton.

    Booked a junior suite, turns out it was above the room a prom was being hosted in. I could feel the music coming through the room and couldn't sleep. Staff said it would be over soon, finally at 11pm it was over. I had to get up early and this was not what I would expect of a Hilton. Staff couldn't move me due to the hotel being full but offered ear plugs. Finally offered me one night for free. Hotel is okay but could stand an update. The view out the windows is great but don't stay here if you expect to be you know sleep or relax in your room on the lower floors.

    The front desk staff was incredibly rude and not helpful. Our room was by the laundry room, the washer and dryer were working at 11 pm and they woke me up around 5 am. I have a recording with the horrendous sound. Then, I paid for breakfast on Expedia and the hotel charged me extra for breakfast, they said they didn’t show breakfast on my booking on their end and asked me to contact Expedia. So, all in all the hotels services and staff are becoming increasingly expensive and lousy. I paid almost $200 for a room at Hilton and if that kind of money won’t ensure a better service, how much should we pay then? Definitely will not book Hilton again.

    The room we stayed in was very spacious and comfortable. The only thing was that it had two temperature control panels. When putting the heater on in the one with the bedroom, it would not heat at all. We had to turn it off and turn on the one that is by the kitchen wall. Even at that, we set it all the way to 90 degrees and it barely heat up throughout the cold nights. Everything else was good.

    BUT! Was very disappointed in the property and room cleanliness. DID NOT HOLD UP TO HILTON STANDARDS! AT ALL! The pool was unmaintained, my kids didn’t even want to swim in it because it was dirty. They charge for parking? There was grease stains all over one of the head boards in my room. The room smelled of mildew and dog danger. Just really disappointed in our stay to enjoy the Space Center. Way over charged for what you get. For the amount you pay per night this should have been a better experience.

    The manager was amazingly courteous, empathic and helpful! Lakisha is her name, I believe. She helped me rectify the incorrect booking created *with a live Expedia rep named Alaa* and got us squared away. She said Expedia gets a booking very wrong at least once every couple of months. I hope that Expedia experience doesn’t happen to you, and if it does with this hotel, I hope Lakisha is there to fix it!

    The hotel is in a good place, however an update is truly required. Rooms are old, dirty and outdated. Plumbing requires specific directions (i.e twisting with force to get the shower on). My specific room has rotted cabinets, corroding wall corners, and paper thin walls. We could hear our neighbors conversation (a family with children) word for word. It scared us because it sounded so clear, you would think they were in the same room. The view was amazing but other than that, this hotel really requires a reset.

    There was a conference going on when I stayed there. It was extremely busy. Someone left their dog in their room next to us and it barked constantly for hours. I called the front desk multiple times to complain. Don’t get me wrong, I love dogs, but it was impossible to sleep. Eventually (after ~2 hours) they gave me the key to a new room and we packed our stuff and moved. So that wasn’t great. However, to their credit they contacted Expedia and refunded me for one entire night and it was applied rather quickly.

    The room was spacious and the AC worked great! The beds were comfortable. The view was spectacular and the location was spot on. However the room was a little outdated and the water in the shower would not drain right away. There was plenty of parking, there’s a sign that says park at your own risk but they charge for parking. Parking was only $9 after tax it was about $10… compared to other hotels in the area this is a 4 star hotel.

Balcony had a nice view but there were no chairs to sit in while on the little patio. They do have a nice self serve coffee station which was convenient.     The lobby was nice but once in the room everything was outdated.. the toilets were extremely loud when flushing and the shower head was so old the stream was terrible, they tub doesn’t drain correctly so when showering our feet were in collecting water.     Seriously, this place is not a four-star hotel, not even close. The rooms are old and smell like mold and mildew. They don't have laundry, and breakfast is like, twenty-five bucks! And it's not even good. There are way better places to stay and eat nearby. I wouldn't go back. When we left, we told the lady at the front desk about the mold, damp, and the leak in the bathroom ceiling that started that morning, and she just didn't care. Bathroom is also super small.

    Friendly staff and clean rooms. Restaurant had a good breakfast. The view was great, right on the water, but only a small patch directly in front of the hotel to walk by the water. Private property on both sides prevented walking.

    The hotel is tired and old, should never be branded as a Hilton. Bed lumpy, air con noisy and smells, showers don’t work properly and hot water is intermittent. Bay view is lovely though and Fitness centre above average. Staff make up for the terribly tired and old hotel.

    Go see Jess at the bar she is awesome and a joy to talk too. The hotel is a little dated but you can see the care they still put into it. Overall a very pleasant and comfortable stay.

    My real complaint is about the breakfast bar and dining area. My table, although clean, felt very grimy to the touch. The quality of the food was deplorable. The scrambled eggs looked like they had been in the serving dish for a day or two.

    This seems to be an older hotel that was probably THE place to stay in Clear Lake in its heyday. Overall the experience was great with no issues. The room and facility seemed to be a bit dated, but everything was in working order with no issues. Good views of Clear Lake and convenient for travel.

    The hotel is conveniently located 5 min to the NASA space station and 13 min to the boardwalk. It’s only a half hour drive to Galveston as well. The staff is friendly and the rooms are clean overall but it does seem a little rundown. Still, it seemed to be the best option around that area.

    A room for 4 with only 3 towels, the drawers were loose, you could see the nails, and the worst part was that at dawn I felt something crawling up my arm. I woke up and it was a cockroach in my bed. I got out of bed quickly so it wouldn't jump on my son and I could kill it. This is extremely nasty

    Property is in desperate need of repair, person in room next to mine sneezed and I heard him wipe his nose. Not that I care about hearing Everytime someone is in the bathroom.....     There are no microwaves in the room, the hotel is not conected with their third party and left out the loop. Price of parking is ridiculous, room hasn't been updated since the 80s. Why would charge incidental fees on a moldy carpet, cracked closet glass mirror and moldy balcony. The maintenance staff was lazy. The only thing thing that was good was the over priced room service.

    Room smelt of cigarette. The safe didn't work and were told it couldn't be fixed. We had a 2xnight stay and on cleaning room after the first night, the glasses were not washed and no coffee, creamer or cups replenished. Overall, pretty poor stay.

    We were initially given the wrong room number. Then upon entering room the stench of weed was sickening. Then the next room, the hallway smelled of rotten fruit. There were stains in the carpet, lamp shade, and walls. The windows were filthy. And there was mold in the shower.

    The main Lobby bathroom and Lobby common areas felt like no AC was on, very hot and humid. My shower ceiling was leaking and made loud water dripping noise from 3-5am after the room above me took a 3am shower. No ttravel size toiletries given, no plastic liners in the trash cans in the rooms. The one good thing was the Staff was friendly and helpful.

    Not only did the power go out several times and the backup generator was only for the common areas, but also the elevator stopped working, and I was staying on the fifth floor. The area surrounding the hotel did have several restaurants, but not much entertainment. Staff was not very friendly. I would not stay here again.

    the rest room was having a very bad smell i complained about it but no one cares i was not given any service just a guy came and said they dont have rooms to change the room and they didnt even spray the room freshener.     The past few rooms we stayed in have shown signs of age and have dirty walls, lamps and vents. One room had a broken phone and broken telephone line. A balcony is very important because of medical reasons so i always book a balcony room, i was told the type of room i booked all do not have balconies even though the listing specifically lists balcony. The hotel couldnt help and kept telling mento contact expedia . Even after telling them i booked the same type of room the last several and they had balconies i was still told the type of room i booked does not come with a balcony. The room had a balcony.

    The front desk staff were very nice and professional, The problem was the room. The hotel phone wouldnt work from either phone jacks in the room, there was black dust around the ceiling vent, the cabinet door to the refrigerator was broken and stayed open had dents all on it and was dirty, the lamp was full of dust, the walls had chipped paint and a bad patch job.

    I accidentally booked the wrong date and although it was nonrefundable, I was hoping they'd at least give me credit. But they referred me to Expedia since I booked through them. They said they couldn't do anything about it. When we arrived the toilet wouldn't flush so we had to fix it then later my room key didn't work so I had to go back down to the lobby to get it fixed. I needed to make a balloon arch and they allowed me to use the lobby to do so. It was very clean and a big hotel. I would go back.

    Front desk was helpful upon check in. When we booked there was no mention of parking fees. Having stayed at this hotel before we didn’t have parking fees. This visit however did. The room was clean enough but worn. The carpet frayed , chairs worn , bed was hard , the hall ways very warm and had an odd smell. Over all the stay was fine and staff helpful. The hotel is in a nice location and has nice views but definitely needs some updating.

    It gets 2 stars becuase worse hotels exist, but hilton should be embarressed. The hotel is dated, showing signs if years of coastal abuse. Showers leaked, towels were missing, even the comforter on the bed seamed to missing half the fluff and what was there was clumped to one side. The air conditioning went out immediately. It was an overall terrible experience. At the front desk, Robert, did everything he could to make things better but didnt have much to work with. His effort is commendable, but could not change the situation much if at all. The breakfast, if it was free or included would be great, but it wasnt. For the price, you will be very disappointed, and the restaurant staff and service overall was less to be desired. They appeared to be intentionally ignoring my wife, which was frustrating and rude. The hotel is conveniently located but we will not be coming back. Staying further away and driving farther is a much better option.
