Reached a little early but was still accommodated and a clean room was provided. Breakfast was excellent the first morning we stayed but was so-so the next morning. They had a social event on Wednesday evening which was good.

Proximity to John Wayne Airport The side we were on now has No view- blocked all view but the white wall. Also, the breakfast hour should go until 9:30 on weekdays. I dislike paying $20 nightly to park my car.

With airport shuttle and walking distance to restaurants. Clean and spacious rooms. Front desk staff nice and polite.

Need a lounge

I enjoyed the layout of the room as well as having a kitchen area. I was able to re-heat some leftovers on the cooktop versus just microwaving it. If I have to answer, I would say that the items in the small store/market area could be expanded. I forgot to pack both toothpaste and shaving cream and neither were available. I was able to borrow from my colleague that traveled with me.

Also, I had left some medicine in the refrigerator. And we were on a tight schedule to get to the airport. They contacted us at the airport and offered to run the medicine to the airport for us talk about above and beyond. Elizabeth the driver volunteered to run it out to us and stopped at the terminal. We made it to our flight with a little bit of time to spare we will utilize this facility on all our future trips. It’s in a perfect location near the airport and easy to get to thanks again to the staff for taking so much extra effort to make our trip wonderful

Helpful staff. First place I’ve seen with a basketball court, table tennis and giant chess pieces. And a pool. And pool table.

Breakfast was not great. There were no light filtering curtains and the shade they had didn’t really block out the sun and the windows were very dingy making the view not as pleasant. However, the room was clean and the front desk lady and driver was very kind.

Overall, the hotel was great. The size of the room spacious and the amenities was appreciated. Gym could have better selection of equipment. Breakfast was good and a decent selection.

I liked the way the Buffet was set up and a separate line to make waffles. There were several choices; only one request you should have potatoes without seasoning for some who can not eat it. Other than that it was great.

Stayed few days. Everyone was excellent but one particular day time mgr. named CAROL prevents staff from assisting everyone equally. THE STAFF ARE HELPLESS

The hotel is nice. Room was perfect. Staff was friendly. Only complaint is that parking sucks, especially if your room is to the left of the front desk, as most of the spots are to the right of the hotel. Could be a long walk from your room to your car.

We thoroughly enjoyed this hotel as the rooms are very spacious and the amenities were great. Unfortunately during our stay the hot tub was out of commission but the pool was still very enjoyable. Location is great as well given how close it is to the airport and some shopping. Definitely will stay at Homewood suites in the future.

My only recommendation is to bring dish soap if you plan on using kitchen dishes and don’t want to use the dishwasher.

The suites were comfortable and tidy, which made the stay feel relaxing and home-like. One of the highlights for me is always the complimentary breakfast. They have a good variety of hot and cold items, and my personal favorite is the waffle station. It’s always a nice way to start the morning.

We flew in for a memorial service. The shuttle service to and from the airport was wonderful and the hotel staff was very nice. Super convenient location to the airport. Not much else around the hotel with the exception of a small diner with tasty good food. If you have business to do in the area and need a convenient place to stay, I recommend this hotel.

The room was nice and what we expected. Every single day we had breakfast and everyday it was almost cold. It would have been nice to have a microwave in the eating area to heat up the food. I understand why they don’t do house keeping everyday but then you should stock up the rooms. We had to call and ask for toilet paper and bath wash. Things that we shouldn’t run out of. I just didn’t expect this for the price that was paid and the name on the building. We know for our next trip

The staff took one piece of clothing worth $500 that can not be found. In addition the roof is noisy from the noise above in the morning. Unfortunately very poor stay.

The heated pool was AMAZING! It was cold outside but the heated pool felt like we were sitting in a nice hot bath best experience we may go back just for the pool lol The location isn’t the greatest as far as being convenient to many places it’s mostly industrial felt like but the swimming pool and breakfast was worth it!

The suite has everything needed for a family. Hotel stuff are all friendly and very helpful. We left some small items behind, they helped to keep them and we can retrieve back later.

Great room - clean, comfy bed, all the amenities. Attending graduation at UC-Irvine, fairly close by, convenient.

I really appreciated the staff who was able to provide me with a room to meet my needs due to a mobility issue. The room was spacious, clean and more importantly, very quiet! My husband really liked the variety of the breakfast selections.

I stayed with my family, and we enjoyed this hotel a lot and its amenities. We are definitely going to stay here again in the future.

From the beginning, the setting was hospitable and pleasurable. Very beautiful selection of plants and trees made it inviting. The property was very well set and easy to find your way through. The staff was very professional yet very welcoming and easy to talk to. Suite was very neat and clean. It was like being in a your own home. This is our second time with the family of four or two kids 13 and 10. They both love the amenities, the pool, the basketball courts to billions room. Staff is always excellent and on point and hotel is always clean and breakfast is decent.

This was the most fabulous stay at Homewood. We were traveling with a group and the staff went above and beyond to assist us. There was always some one at the front desk to help and the folks on the kitchen staff were great. We will absolutely return to this hotel. For the price there is so much value there.

The hotel was clean, the staff were all amazing. The free breakfast was actually very good every day!! Parking was super easy and convenient (and cheaper than other hotels we had priced nearby). The location is extremely convenient, with easy access to Huntington Beach and Newport Beach (both within approx. 20 mins of the hotel). The rooms all have full-size refrigerators, microwaves, stovetops, and dishwashers. The only downside was that weren’t a lot of options for food within walking distance but there was a burger place that also serves breakfast in the same parking lot and lots of restaurants within 5-10 minutes or so from the Hotel (all of which could be delivered via a food delivery service, so it wasn’t a big deal for us). Everyone in our group was more than happy with this hotel and I would recommend it over and over again!! (I don’t usually leave reviews but this hotel deserves all the praise. It was THAT good!).

We had a week staying here visiting family in the area. We liked our spacious, clean room with comfortable bed. Kitchenette was good with plates and cutlery. If we could change one thing, it would be the breakfast times. On Mondays to Fridays breakfast is 6am-9am. 9am is an early finish if you are on holiday and we found several mornings that breakfast was busy around 8:45. Breakfast selection was good including hot food as well as bagels, waffles, fruit, cereals. During our stay, several kids sports teams checked in and out across the week so the pool area was occupied with 10-20 kids most nights so we didn’t use the pool area during our stay which was a shame. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would stay again.

Just perfect. The pool was nice and warm and not freezing like other hotels. The customer service was amazing as was the game room. The gym had the basic amenities but that wasn’t an issue for us. Wednesday we were provided complimentary soup, salad, wine/beer and it was delicious

When I booked the room the pictures on the site made it seem like the room was bigger not to mention the fact that the bathroom was beyond small I am very un satisfied I will not be booking here again I think I deserve some sort of reimbursement for the room because what i was charged for what I received compared to the pictures I saw was completely different.

Overall Great hotel for families. We had a 2x Queen suite which included a pull out couch and it was great for 2 adults and 3 children under 12. The room was clean spacious enough and equipped with the basic essentials we needed. The hotel was great in regards to amenities/activities for all to enjoy, just enough to be entertained together as family and also let the children play and adults relax while they are doing so. All the staff was friendly and helpful front desk, housekeeping, cooks, breakfast staff. Breakfast was on point with a nice variety and plentiful for all family members. Cool to bring your own food/drinks to cook/heat up. They have two bbq grills and light cook wear in rooms. Overall good experience and would/plan to come back again.

Very nice roomie and clean rooms. The pool area was very nice too. The water was heated. Everything was very nice and the staffs are super friendly and helpful. Love our stay and will definitely do again if we go to that area in the future.

I can not recommend this hotel enough! The whole staff was amazing and so accommodating and helpful. Caroline especially helped us with an issue and was wonderful. It’s the perfect family hotel with a great breakfast, comfortable spacious rooms, so many activities for the kids, warm pool, and even a grilling area. The laundry area was even super nice. I would recommend to any family looking for a great value and a perfect location!

It was so good! We had our flight cancel on us and they were so amazing and had a shuttle to us in no time and we were able to relax and enjoy the pool and free door dash it was so nice. Breakfast was delicious and we sure enjoys our stay

The beds were very comfy.

Breakfast was solid and included all the basics, from hot coffee to juice, and cereal, waffles with toppings, bagels, bread, and eggs, sausage, and potatos. I didn't get a chance to use their gym, pool, or rec room amenities but everything looks nice and clean and maintained, there's even grills outside on the pool deck. The room itself was nice and spacious, with plenty of seats and tables. We did use some of the dishes to eat take out and there's a dish washer for convenience and a garbage disposal in the kitchen sink if you need it. I slept really well which doesn't often happen at hotels, so I found it super comfortable and peaceful. I would happily return if I find myself in the area for another event.

Staff were helpful and kind. Cons: Window drapes don't close so we still had light coming in around the pull down shades while trying to sleep. Worst quality toilet paper I have ever experienced. Think harsh and rough but somehow still disintegrates on the first wipe. Coffee was absolutely terrible.

Noisy location in general due to airplanes taking off. I got this room because it has a kitchen, but it's so poorly equipped it's pretty much unusable. Bring your own kitchenware.

This location was central to a lot of different places we visited, like the beaches, Downtown Disney and prime shopping centers. Breakfast was good. Room service must be requested at check in though, which we were unaware of. Parking fee was $20 per night. Overall, good for what we needed on our 3 night stay.

We booked just one night, which is well-kept, very clean, and convenient. The rooms are amazing, especially the studio suites, and the beds are super comfy.

Upon the check in, the front desk lady gave my wife hard time and argue that this is booked thru the 3rd party and they did not get the message and won't let my wife check in. After 30 minutes arguing and waiting, I had to call the front desk and told her that its a prepaid in full reservation and beg her to resolve the situation. After a long drive from out of State, my wife just wanted to go in and rest... At the end the front desk lady demand my wife to deposit another night of room fee and incidental fee. She just can't trust us which is okay with us. Main point here is this is a service industry and please treat us like a guest. We are not going to hotel to beg for service. We had a horrible experience. Amazing that one front desk person's conversation and behavir can affect both Homewood Suites and Hotel.com very negatively like this.
