Red Roof Inn & Suites Jackson, TN

Got in around 9-10pm, everything felt damp. Cranked the a/c, but even the sheets felt damp. In the morning the power went out because i guess they were woking on something?… the desk guy seemed friendly but because the power was out there was no breakfast. Went to the waffle house right there, the power did return just before we were leaving. I should’ve asked for a refund but needed to get going… i hope that was just bad timing but we were there just for some sleep and that was not comfortable…

Room was clean but don't expect anything special. Jacuzzi room was big but a couch was blocking half the doorway to the bedroom. Jacuzzi worked but jets were not strong, no way to adjust anything. Only over the air channels on the tvs, not cable. Looks like they filled in the pool and only one working ice machine. Breakfast was nothing but stale breads and tasteless muffins. No protein, not even peanut butter.

I didn’t like that they advertise a swimming pool, it’s concreted in there is no pool on the property. The floors were dirty in the room my feet were black from them.

The hotel room was terrible... the water needs a filtration system for sure.... As for the room. The floor had been recently re-done and it was terrible... missing pieces and holes in it...the shower head leaked and the water pressure left much to be desired... the bed had a mattress but, no box springs which made for a very uncomfortable sleep... TV was very small and didn't work very well either but... other that... the room was very over charged for the terrible quality we received...on the ad it said breakfast was included... it didn't indicate such a small nothing to it beeakfast.... My bride and I drove to Jackson to celebrate our 20th Anniversary and it looked much nicer in the pics... Had I known what it actually looked like, I would have choose a different hotel chain.

I arrived at 6:00 the only thing was available muffins, cereal that's not a complete breakfast. Both days I was upset I had to spend more money. I visited Atl and got a room at the red roof Inn.The breakfast was wonderful. The service was great in Jackson tn it should have had more breakfast menu items Breakfast was only served with muffins, cereal

Decent budget hotel for an overnight stay. Clean, comfortable and everything worked.

A nice sized suite for pretty inexpensive amount. AC units, TVs, and shower of the room could use upgrades, they are older models, but for the price, it was fine for a night.

Front desk was dishonest and refused to change room to other end of the property. The hotel is almost empty. Creepy people in the property. Don’t feel safe staying in the property. Stay away from this town is best option

You hear everything happening outside, so good luck sleeping. This part of town is a bit shady. The staff person had clearly been asleep when I arrived, bonnet on and all. Outside lights were subpar and blinking. Parking lot is full of potholes and cracks. What can I say? You get what you pay for cheap-o.

Pool needs attention. Too too too much chlorine n chemicals in that pool. Should be fixed immediately before guest get sick from chemicals.

Everything was good except the bed was a little Hard for me.

Wow! Where to begin? Place was dirty. Found hairs and food in the bed. Big gap around the door. Bad odors of mold and mildue. Many people hanging around smoking Marijuana. Very unsafe place. After bringing everything ibto the room we reloaded our car and left. We immediately callled and asked for a full refund

Quiet hotel near major highway and interstate. Breakfast was lacking but everything else was great. The room was very spacious and comfortable.

Floor had holes in vinyl flooring. Cable for the tv was ran under the vinyl floor where it was coming thru the floor. TV’s were outdated and picture not clear at all, toilet seat was broken where it kept pinching your thigh everytime you’ve sat down. The hot tub was not cleaned properly. Black stuff was coming out when we tried to use the hot tub.

The bedding was dirty old pillows old linen both had black spots on them as if it was bedbugs or mold didn’t realize until the night before we left had to go out and buy bed linen & pillows to sleep on. Found roaches in the room plus the door wouldn’t open @ times room 129. Will never book there again 😡

Property shows to offer a swimming pool the pool is covered. The area around the pool has not been taken care of the Breakfast was terrible and my 7 year old could have made something better the Cereal options are not kid friendly.

staff rude and not helpful, room floors were dirt y, holes in curtains and no coffee pot altho there was coffee, cups, and creamers in room.I went to office to get coffee pot and there was none and past 9am to get coffee in officw area, water was leaking from under air conditioner.

Price and reviews were right for a very quick stop (5 hours) on a long road trip. After traffic delays, we arrived around 11:40 PM to a room with a window AC that had not been on, so it was very hot and humid in mid-June. Turned the AC unit on the highest setting, but it still made it hard to sleep, despite me normally being cold-natured. An electrical outlet also didn’t work. A passable stop, but not a place I’d stay again. We left before breakfast, so can’t comment on that. FYI, the lobby is locked overnight, but there is an entry area with night window. Made me wonder a little about the safety of the area.

The place is ran down. The ceiling in the bathroom looked like it had black mold on it. The tile I'm the shower was smashed and broke. The towels were this and worn out.

The room I was given had bed bugs and they knew about it because the woman in the room next to me knocked on my door to warn me after she went up front and got her refund ..

If you like the smell of smoke, you'll love this place. 😕 Checked in at night only to have to.go back to office and ask for another room. The previous room had been smoked in and they tried to cover it with spray, but it reeked of smoke. Moved us to another room and we stayed but the beds were the hardest I've ever slept on. Pillows were thin and useless. Awoke the next morning ro the smell of marijuana. Went to take a shower and the shower head appeared to be 40 years old and caked in rust. Place is disgusting and lots of "foot traffic" walking the parking lot at night. Sketchy!

Just an average clean room

We did not even stay it was that bad and had to pay for the whole weekend. It's wS the worst ever.

There was roaches on the floor as soon as we walked in but we were having car problems so we couldn't leave. Was told when i went to extend for another night that my appearance was intimidating to other out of town guests(i was passing thru from out of state so I'm not sure what they meant by that) and that they wouldn't rent to me unless i stopped wearing my hoodie and baggie clothes outside.

Property was creepy. The room next door was to much noise I could hear there phone conversation and I feel unsafe. Won’t stay there again. The picture in here was different than the reality.

The man behind the counter "Junior" was amazing! Super nice and super quick to get us a new room when our smoke detector kept beeping (low battery). My son was not thrilled with his neighbor...as they were extremely loud and smoking outside that kept leaking in their vents. Newly remodeled...comfy beds...clean. Didn't have time for breakfast but it was offered. No clock in room but TV worked great...Great value...

I had NO hot water to shower with. The reception clerk offered no apologies at all. The room also had baby cockroaches! The room was updated decor but no hot water and roaches runt it.

The man who checked me in could not speak English very well. I had a very hard time understanding him. The room was very clean and looked recently remodeled. Parked right in front of the room.

The room was clean. Smelled clean. Breakfast was available. The few things we think to be improved on, are, the paint was peeling off the wall in one place. The fan in bathroom didn’t work. The room didn’t have a TV guide. Otherwise , we are pleased with our stay .

Place was clean and basic. OlderTV, but worked. Fridge and micro. No extra charge for pets.

I would not recommend this place for any young girls. Me and my girl friends in our 20s stayed here. We had an encounter with some suspicious men. We asked the front desk just to walk us to our cars. They insured us that we had nothing to worry about, and that the men were doing construction on the building, it was late night and the men kept lingering around our door so we called the police for an escort when checking out the following day Staff asked us in front of everyone if we called the police, and they went onto tell us that we should not have done that and shamed us. I would not recommend this for any young girls in their 20s.

It was decent enough. Room had a mustiness covered with excess deodorizer. Hotel is not new and had signs of wear. Area around is a little sketchy with not a lot of restaurants around. Breakfast was decent but not great. An overall average experience for what you’d expect in a hotel off the highway.

When I arrived I asked for a room on the lower level I was given a lower level room in the rear of the hotel When I arrived I saw at least four rooms that appeared to be empty on the lower level in the front of the hotel, so why give me a room in the rear.

It was a pretty good hotel stay for us. We all slept well. It was reasonably clean. The bathroom was pretty small. I wish they had turned on the AC before we got there. The room was HOT.

Very old hotel, smelled like they were trying to bleach away the smoke. Burn holes in , stains and just over all poor quality.

Facilities definitely needed updates and repairs, AC worked but was noisy, noisy guests were a group of bikers.

The room was decent and the bed was ok. I'm giving it such a low rating because of the breakfast. Biscuits and gravy were cold and I believe either the pancake batter or syrup was bad. The waffles had a horrible Taste of them.

Bed was comfortable, but the shower didn't work and breakfast was horriffic. Milk was sour, coffee and juices were undrinkable, mouse trap was on the counter with the food.

Checking into this hotel was a pretty easy process but we ended up getting a room on the second floor and we didn’t enjoy having to carry our bags up and down the stairs. The property is not easily accessible to elderly and disabled without an elevator. The morning complimentary breakfast was out of almost everything by 8 am and didn’t have the best of options. We really only could eat the waffles and everything else was cold. Was hoping the for more options.

My stay was wonderful my son liked the hotel stay as well. This was my first time visiting Jackson Tennessee. The hotel room was very clean. My room smelled like they cleaned it with bleach.

Hair all on shower walls. Opened soap wrapper in bathroom. Shower head leaked so bad the water falling would push the plunger down causing it to switch to the bottom faucet. Had 2 adults and 2 children stay and received 3 towels. 3 wash clothes. 1 bar of soap. 1 bottle of shampoo. Beds were hard. Cable tv has so much static I couldn’t hear the tv show. Good: Staff I interacted with was kind and fast with service. Didn’t require a security deposit. AC was super cold. Sheets were clean and new looking. Has multiple charging ports for usb. This hotel is a great for a single person just passing through or working.

Room was in less than desirable neighborhood. Room was extremely worn. Outside was noisy late at night.

We arrived at 9:20 PM to find the lobby locked with a "back in 10 minutes" note taped to the bulletproof "after hours" window. Finally got checked in after waiting 10 minutes. The room was clean, but the mattress was old, hard, and creaky. Breakfast was almost non-exsistant, and much of what there was was stale. I asked about refilling several of the empty items, and the repeated response was "no more." The cleaning staff seemed to have enjoyed theirs, though.

The WiFi was horrible.

Bugs in the drains of the sink and tub. Cigarette burns on the counters, bedspreads and a crack in the door frame you could look through.

Front desk person did more than expected and was very helpful. Good price and will stay again.

I chose this hotel because I was in a hurry and I have never had a bad experience at Red Roof. It is a more basic room than others I've used, and there were a couple of minor faults with the room, but the bed was comfortable and that was the main thing. I will stay there again when/if I am in that area.

The property seems to be under renovation. Recent painting on the outside and on the walls in the room. The bathroom was clean. The vinyl floors throughout were not clean, rather gritty. The bedding was very very stained and not clean. Disgusting to find. I slept on top of it all in my clothes and a jacket for a blanket. There was a "breakfast" of coffee, cold cereal, yogurt, and waffles. I would not recommend staying at this motel.
