    Really bad place. The rooms are tiny i didn't open my suitcase for a week. Nowhere for a computer. The suite is a mini fridge and microwave. You can hear everything in next room. I had 3 days of someone cursing loud every minute of the day till 3am. I think he was an addict without his drugs.. I've been traveling for 30 years every month and this was the worst. The pictures are nothing like the actual rooms. Its really a sub human experience. I was prepaid for a week so I was locked in unfortunately. Glad to be free at last...

    Location Bedbugs. My baby and I were bit up.Killed some.Front desk put me in a different room at 11:45. It was awful. Had to wash and bag all my clothes so I wouldn't take them home w/me. Really disgusting. People shouting outside.Not a good place. Pay more and get better!Filed a complaint w/booking.com and waiting on a refund.Would not staying here again!!

    Dont trust the pictures on the 3rd party website or the main website for the hotel. Use Google maps thats were you will find the real Pictures and reviews. I planned on staying at the is hotel for 3 days but only stayed one night. Room smelled musky bathroom floor was dirty and sticky. Everything had stains on it plus couch and bed was dirty it had small pieces of dead bugs on the bottom layer of the mattress. Don't stay at this hotel its disgusting and the owner should be in jail

    It smelled so bad it was honestly hard to sleep. It was also loud until about midnight, walls are super thin and you can hear everything in the hallways. People started loudly talking with their phones on speaker around 6:30 am outside the front of the building and it was pretty constant. “Breakfast” was just packaged muffins and bagels and coffee. The WiFi kicked me off constantly or wouldn’t connect at all. But really it was the smell that made it such a bad stay.

    The property was alright I was able to park and head inside. I didn’t like the property because the key card I had when I checked in , didn’t work for my room. I went down stairs to the staff female that was at the desk, did not try to help me get in my room so she started arguing with me , and locked me out the hotel when went to my car.     The location was very central in Jax especially for our visit needs. The frig had a freezer compartment. Yay! Ashley is very nice and Katrina became "Mak"'s best friend. Thx to you, both ☺️ The room was small, especially for 2 queen beds. Two full or a king would have been betterin that space. Definitely needed a person with an eye for detail for cleaning, as well as some paint & repair. Not being able to access our TV accounts, like Amazon Prime or Netflix, on the TV. Breakfast options were paltry at best and not very healthy. Try oatmeal packets, small yogurts and cottage cheese. A consistant smell of "weed".

To start when I booked the room your website said there were no extra charges after I paid this company. But when arriving at the property my wife was made to pay a 50 damage deposit. So she paid it. Then once getting into the room it was very dreary and damp feeling. And the carpets stunk like soured milk. The pillow cases were stained and the entire room was filthy. Like it had never been cleaned or someone used it shortly before us. Then when bringing it to the attention of the front counter woman I was treated so horribly. And I was actually trying to stay the night so we could be closer to my wife’s dying mother who is barely hanging on. The lady even sucked her teeth and told us good luck on our deposit. We then had to drive almost 3 hours in the middle of the night. We weren’t in the room for not even half an hour and now I can’t get my wife back to see her mom because of our financial situation that has been plaguing our family since medical issues rendered me unable to work since August. This is a very hard time for our family and I hope that y’all do the right thing. Thank you.

    I do not recommend this hotel at all—not even in passing. The rooms are dirty, the bathrooms are filthy, and the facilities haven't been renovated. The beds have mattresses where you can feel the springs, and the bathrooms are stained and rusty, old towels, everything it’s bad. Not even the breakfast coffee tasted good. The service was very friendly, but that doesn't make up for how terrible this hotel is—not to mention their non-refundable policy, which practically forces you to stay there.

    The staff energy above and beyond to make sure my check-in was seamless. At check-in my there was an issue with my credit card and I was locked out of my card until the next day. The front desk clerk waived the usual security deposit and allowed me to check in. It could been a disastrous situation since I don't carry cash. I was traveling in an emergency situation and you can't imagine what it's like to be told your card was declined. Thank God for the understanding folks at the front desk...

    It was relatively close to the hospital. The room was stale and smelled like mold. We had to get a plug in air freshener to make it bearable. The bed was rock hard. The shower didn’t shut off completely and dripped non stop. There were always people who looked strung out hanging out on the couch in the lobby.

    Staff was friendly I walked into our room and my mouth dropped... Stunk like pee (ended up buying an air freshner to mask the smell), stains all over the carpets, had to keep shoes on in the room because the carpet was wet and sticky, carpets are not being vacuumed, had roaches small and large, pictures on this site did not match the room (I even moved rooms and still HORRIBLE, same issues in both), room is not properly cleaned at all, furniture falling apart from being wet and torn apart, cigarette burns all over the room (non smoking room,) only reason I stayed was because I booked a non-refundable room. Would not recommend to anyone to stay here.

    The smell walking in was pleasant. The clerk said she would make a situation right if I agreed to a review. The time has now passed since March 24th I left a good review and have yet to receive my 50$ deposit back and when I went in to leave a review tons of information regarding bed bugs recently popped up. I reached out by email on the bed bugs for more info and to get my deposit back and I have yet to receive any info or a response so I'll be calling now.

    Upon arrival and entering the building, we could smell sewage and the front desk advised that there was problems with the sewer and it could be smelled when laundry was being done. Upon going into our room , we could smell how musty it was, and we also observed we had no telephone and there was no clock. The drawers to put clothing in was crooked and bend the table at the desk was coming apart Wood was exposed and cracked the condition of the property or in that room was completely unsatisfactory. We will never stay at this property ever again. This property needs updates. The staff was helpful and answered all of my questions.

    Loved the location the woman that checked us in was super nice and friendly. We were here for a wedding at the Jacksonville zoo. Less than a 30 min drive to the zoo and we had the rehersal dinner at the shopping center that was less than 15 min away at Magginanos Italian resturant. Was perfect for what we needed. Was a little dirty in certain areas. Had old lipstick writing or something on the mirror, and bed side tables weren't completely wiped clean.

    Pros: not much...it did look very nice from the outside. Cons: staff very unprofessional--yelling at each other and complaining in front of customers; rooms are very dated; no extra amenities in room (i.e.) no coffee maker); no bkfst (nada)...there was one large coffee pot in the lobbby that had been on for a while (no decaf) option for those that need it. Would not stay here again. Oh, I forgot to mention the hubbub in the morning, involving 4 (yep, 4) police cars...we didn't hang around to find out what that was about.

    The room was gross and the entire first floor smelled like sewage daily... then overwhelming air fresheners to cover... a cleaning crew needs locked in this hotel with buckets of water, rags, and toothbrushes for a full detail from ceiling to floor. Every crack and crevice is dirty including urine stains in grout around toilet. The linens are stained and gross looking. The water pressure was poor and continued to run for a long time after turning off before stopping. I could go on. only saving grace- receptive, nice staff that attempted to address my issues. The "new clean linens" were stained also. Overall, gross. The nice and wellmeaning staff don't save it.

    They claimed to have breakfast. A stale bagel and watered down coffee is not breakfast. Others were also complaining about this. Place looked like a place for low income stays. It had a musty smell when walking in and the room was dirty. We had to go get cleaning supplies to clean the bathroom and the room. Once my wife got it cleaned, she was a little relaxed. People were sitting on the floor smoking in front of the location.

    Staff was super friendly but that was about the only positive. They were helpful, polite and in general just nice when interacting with them. Pictures were dressed up way too much and didn't reflect the room condition. When I checked into my room there were chip crumbs all over the floor and nightstand. Bathroom smelled so strongly of mildew that even with the door closed it covered the whole room. Sticky parts on the carpet led me to always wear shoes in the room. Leaving the room the whole building has a weird smell. Had a $50 deposit due on check-in don't remember seeing that when reserving but could've been my fault missing it. I had the money to cover but I think there should be more noticeable communication stating that for people who may not have that extra $50. Walls and doors were beyond thin, could hear the room next to me having a normal conversation all throughout the night keeping me awake. Hotels right next to it were similar price and I would recommend anyone check out those ones instead as there's no way it could be worse than this one.

    Room was okay. Nothing special, some stains/ minor holes on the blankets. Sink was stained. Sheets were clean tho. Staff upon check in and the lady cleaning the rooms were both friendly. Easy reservation and check in process. Great room price. Breakfast was okay, bagels muffins and oatmeal. Coffee was empty when I went. Not a bad experience anyway. I'd probably stay there again.

    They failed to provide my request for a TV in the room that provided closed captioning feature for me. I am deaf & rely on that to understand spoken language on the TV programs. We had to cancel the reservation and find another hotel that could accommodate my disability. Hometown Inn & Suites agreed to refund the expense; however, they went back on their word. Next step is to report them to Better Business Bureau

    There hair all over the toilet. There was dried up urine on the seat of the toilet and around the whole rim of the toilet seat underneath it. The room smelled of loud urine and wet carpet. There was shreds of long blonde hair in our bed as if someone had just got out of the bed and oulled the covers back. There was hair all over the shower it looked like someone had just shaved in the shower. I have pictures to prove these accusations. I want to request a full refund. I had a family member that checked into a room 2 doors down from me and she also had similar issues the housekeeper was a heavy set Caucasian woman with purple scrubs her. Her words were i did clean the room but i didnt check to see if the bathroom needed cleaning. We are beyond disgusted with service.

    Good location. Abandoned vehicle at the front parking area. Employee would not help at midnight with people yelling in the neighbors room. She said she couldn't hear anything. The counters in several of the rooms I saw were falling/crumbling apart. Duct tape on the wall to hold the wall paper on. Strong bad odor in the hallway

    The hallway reeked of smoke and marijuana even though it was a non smoking floor, and the hallways had so much caked on layers of dust it was really gross. They obviously don’t get cleaned. But the worst was that bed had the most uncomfortable mattress I have ever been on. All springs. We were booked for 2 nights but only stayed one it was so horrible.

    The pictures advertised isn't the way it's presented in person. The room overall stank like mildew, the carpet, the walls were filthy i kept all of my things in the bathroom tub till it was checkout time. The staff was smoking outside of the no smoking 🚭.     Things were a little out of date. The room when i walked in smelled like someone had been smoking and it was cold. Not long after being here we saw COCKROACHES crawling out of the AC. Something bit me twice on my back while sitting on the bed. Microwave and fridge was a little dirty along with the floor which i would not let my bare feet touch.     Disgusting. I gave this place a second chance and it was so much worse. The second floor smells strongly of mold. The room smelled like a cigar. The carpet was damp. There was a long black hair on the bathroom counter. There were long black hairs on the blanket when I pulled back the cover which had dark stains, plus there was burn through the blanket from a cigarette. There were 3 Combat bug traps in the room and I still woke up with bug bites. The refrigerator is loud and makes mechanical noises constantly. They don’t clean on the sides of the bed on the floor and there was literally a fingernail clipping. My clothes smell absolutely disgusting from being in this hotel. Don’t stay here if you have any dignity.

    Overall for what you pay the hotel was what you expect. The surrounding area was very quiet and cute. We had a room with a pull out sofa, because my husband is paralyzed and in a power chair. I have a lift that has to roll under a bed to get him in it. I went to the front desk to get linens, and was told they would not have any available until the morning. I explained why I needed them, and still no linenes were provided. This was a 1st.

    Front desk staff was unprofessional, room had stains on the walls, smelled like mold, and the remote for the TV didn’t work. I relayed this to the front desk manager and asked to be put in a different room. he fixed the remote and ignored the other issues I mentioned as well as my request for a different room. The remote stopped working again shortly after but I didn’t see the point in going back up to the desk to ask for help. The WiFi also did not work which was very frustrating so I had to use my phones hotspot to use my laptop. I don’t think I’ve ever stayed in a worse hotel than this one. The only positive was that I was only staying overnight so thankfully I didn’t have to endure this for more than 12hrs. 100% was not worth the money, I’d have a better experience sleeping in my car.

    The first room we got smelled like wet dog and mold. Second room was a little better. The lights in out room went out and back on twice, the third time they stayed up off and still were not on when we left the next morning. Continental breakfast was bare minimum.     Ok here’s the good stuff. Towels are super clean, nice bedding, ac works well, hot water, friendly staff, great location, clean parking lot. What they could work on: Housekeeping is hit or miss. What I mean is: Whoever freshened my room for 5 days did a good job, but when I first checked in there was literally dirt on my counter in the bathroom. I’ll show a pic of the paper towell after I wiped it up. The first room I was in, the bathroom vent was covered with dust. Also when some people cleaned the they left the toilet seat up. The carpet in the halls has a musky smell. Whoever owns the place is a little cheap. The alarm clocks all are bolted to the wall and are unplugged when you check in to save electricity. Clocks are filthy. There are no smoking signs on the doors but there is often an aroma of weed on the property. My first room was right next to the lobby and I heard footsteps all night long above me from the second floor hall. I changed rooms to the end of the hall and had 4 nights of good sleep after that. No bed bugs. I’d stay here again.

    Don’t expect friendly customer service. It was a bother for them to redo my room key everyday as well as going back to the counter multiple times to get it to work for me. It wasn’t very clean and a little smelly as they try to hide the cigarette and musty smell with a scent. Housekeeping needs a lesson on cleaning. Breakfast was either a bagel or a small muffin. Coffee tasted as though the pot hasn’t been cleaned ever. Area hotel is in was nice and convenient to getting around.

    The check in process was a training moment. The desk kept my deposit an has some false information on the check out document. I never used any credit card information with this establishment. Don’t pay cash they will keep it. The rooms are not very sanitary due to all the sick people coming in from Mayo Clinic. The carpet needs to be replaced.

    First when we checked in the front desk was so rude and unprofessional. She gave us price way higher than what she gave me on the phone when I called and way higher what was posted online. She sat in the room for so long instead of checking us in. I asked for one printer paper for my daughter to write on for her homework and she said she cannot give any paper not even one. The front desk was way so rude. Non stop noise all over the place. The cover was moldy and smelly. The whole place was a zero star for me. Parking has a lot of car noise. Will never stay again.

    We had to leave this hotel almost immediately. As a parent with a baby, I was deeply concerned about the hygiene and cleanliness of the room—it felt completely unsafe.     The room rates were very low. I saved money on the rates, but low rates also invite a dubious clientele. Working girls, obvious people with substance abuse issues, and folks who were at the lower end of the socio-economic scale. I was in room 108 and the people on the second floor were loud. The room smelled like "dog," and it wasn't cleaned very well.

    I was uncomfortable during my stay due to the appearance of unsafe surroundings. My room was unsanitary. There was no cover protector over the lights in yhe bathroom, the toilet was filthy, there were holes in the toilet paper and more. It was so nasty, I took a few pics. My 1st and last visit.
