Everyone was very professional and helpful...I will stay again.

They had absolutely everything I could eat. especially with my food allergies and accommodation of forgetting I was getting off the ship early. The front desk employees were extremely helpful in getting my friend and I to the local mall area to eat lunch and shop while we waited for our room to be ready, by use of their free shuttle! And bringing us back!

The room was very comfortable and clean. The front desk staff was Amazing. Helpful and Friendly. However, the housekeeping staff were not friendly towards me. No greetings at all. Nothing too important, but it could make it a Diamond stay if they were. Highly recommend

I was extremely disappointed to be placed in a room where the air conditioner was leaking all over the floor and mold was on crevices. Obviously a problem for a while. Got my socks soaking wet and then my feet every time I walked past the bed.

I enjoyed my stay at the Hyatt. The room was very nice and clean, for the exception of the shower liner. That's the only thing that I saw that needs to be taken care of. The breakfast was great. Overall, the hotel was very nice inside and out. I would love to stay again.

The room was clean, safe and comfortable for my stay, as I am an older woman staying alone. Every staff member carried on a conversation and were genuinely engaged in the conversation. The breakfast was amazing. Plenty of fresh fruit, eggs, biscuits, home fries, cereal, bagels, juices and fresh coffee. All the food was fresh and warm. No powdered eggs served! If you need a late night snacks, I recommend the brownies which are amazing and the Hyatt House does have other snacks and beverages. I did notice the hotel had a grill, but I didn't partake because was visiting family. I am sure it would have been delightful. My stay was 4 days and I truly enjoyed every minute of the stay. I will be staying there again soon as my family lives in Jacksonville.

You have exceptional, caring and professional staff at this site. From the front desk to the cook staff to the housekeepers. Take care of them, they are a rare and valuable commodity!

Closeness to airport and the port. I did not like having carpets in the room. The tvs needs to be modernized for easy access from your phone to the tv.

Hotel had all the essentials, including a breakfast bar. Bed was reasonably comfortable. Staff were friendly. Room design was spacious. Would say it was a good value for the price. Property was clean for the most part, aside from the restroom, which was very cramped. The shower in our room had a weird design, where there wasn’t a full barrier nor way to adjust the shower head to keep it from spraying water on the wall and floor outside the shower.

The customer service was outstanding, the sweet ladies running the check in were so helpful and nice. The breakfast was delicious and the room was great. Very comfortable bed and clean. Overall great experience

For the last four trips to Hyatt Place Jacksonville Airport I have booked this hotel it is in the fight place to visit my sister I don’t have anything negative to say about the Hyatt Place Jacksonville AirPort.

Nice clean very roomy and comfortable, the onsite food was great as well. The room layout with the Sectional sofa was awesome, and the Bed was comfortable.

The front desk lady was so sweet at check-in and even helped us find transportation to the port for our cruise departure. The continental breakfast was so delicious! The room was spacious and the beds were so comfortable!

Our hotel experience was good. The room was spacious for our family and the staff was very courteous. The breakfast was not as great as the reviews we read. We have stayed at many different hotels and we were quite surprised with the very low quality of the breakfast for a very high brand hotel. At least the beds were comfortable so we had a good night sleep.

Very disappointed with check-in. We did arrive at 230 for 300 check in at 400 we were still waiting and was told they were waiting for rooms to be ready. After multiple times inquiring about room we were told they would upgrade and gave us room on 6th floor. A few of the check in agents were not very friendly. Breakfast staff was great. Facility was clean.

This was honestly one of the best hotels I have stayed at. The staff were so kind and helpful (wish I got their names!) The shuttle service was great, the breakfast was great, and the room was nice. Didn't get a chance to use the pool but that looked nice as well. I would recommend!

This was by far my favorite Hyatt we have ever been to. Hotel staff was the nicest I’ve encountered, breakfast was delicious and the hotel was spotless and smelled great, no old mildew smell. I also noticed that house keeping came after day 1 instead of after day 2. Small laundry room with only 1 washer and dryer but aside from that this place is a rockstar. Don’t hesitate to book. They also have tons of food options near by including Waffle House and dennys

The place was quiet and staff were great and extremely helpful. The only downside was that the bathroom was poorly lit. There was only one dim light directly over the toilet, so when the shower curtains are closed, it would get dark within the shower space itself.

When I got to my room. The TV guide didn't work. I called the desk and maintenence was there in 2 minutes. He was tryingbto fix for an hour. He couldnt fix it. Then took another half hour to get me new room. I got to hotel around 1pm. I was charged $25 for early check in. 2 hours early. Thats crazy. Ive never been charged for early check in. And no where is that stated on their website. They did credit the $25 for the inconvenience of TV, after I complained. By time I finally got my room changed, it was almost 3pm. Which is check in.

I am very glad that I stayed here. The staff is friendly and proactive in greeting guests. It makes such a big difference in the hospitality experience. Everyday I had a great interaction. Major kudos to everyone!!!

I can't belive how well rated this place was, I must have a different definition of "clean" because massive stains on the carpet, dirt on the doors etc don't fall under mine. The place was run down, banged up furniture and duct-taped up blinds. I asked for a room change and was told no. Not a good option for single travellers either. There really isn't a restaurant, other than the breakfast. The included breakfast was good but not worth the overall poor stay. I'm shocked how terrible it was, especially for the price (one of the highest in the area)

One thing that I think should change in the design of the bathroom is the size it's so small and the door is an entrance door making it so large that you have to practically hug the door to get inside, I practically feel over the toilet to shut the door, the designers could have given that more thought.

As soon as I walked in the room I spot a roach on the bathroom sink. I smashed it and took it to show the front desk staff, which surprisingly didn’t do anything about it aside from saying “I am sorry” and asking me what was my room number. This is worse than having a roach in a $200 hotel room.

Rooms are ok, had planned to eat in and use the microwave but there is not one in the room had to take my food to the lobby and use the communal microwave .staff were all very friendly, breakfast was ok average hotel food, it wasn’t terribly busy but we had to wait for dishes, then no forks, both regular coffee pots were empty in the dining area so had to wait for that when leaving the dining area I decided to get more coffee at the other location but it was empty also.

This hotel was very comfortable. The room was spacious and clean. I enjoyed the shuttle because it offered free rides to places you needed to go in the area. Breakfast was yummy and free! I would definitely recommend this hotel.

I also made use of the laundry facilities, which were excellent and very convenient. The free airport shuttle was the icing on the cake and made everything even easier. We booked as advertised because of a restaurant and bar. The bar was ill equipped, most were just bottled cocktails at $15 each. There wasn't a restaurant. A few items available to order. Very short staffed. One on and absent bartender, one cook. Took forever to get waited on, and longer for food. Shuttle from airport very convenient. Room was very nice.

Wonderful stay! The proximity to the airport was excellent. It was very quiet. The Check-in process was quick and the staff were very friendly. The room was clean and very spacious. The breakfast buffet had a good variety, but don’t wait until the last half hour as the supply dwindles. Checking out online wasn’t available so that was the only disappointment.

Room, wasnt the cleanest and we believe there was bed bugs. There was traces of blood on the sheets. The staff was professional, but i requested a refund and was told they would give me points towards a 1 night stay.

Wonder stay! Clean and comfortable!

We had no complaints about the amenities, complimentary breakfast served or the staff; however, the room appeared quite dated. There was a noticeable carpet odor, and my wife and son experienced sneezing for sometime. Additionally, the heater took a significant amount of time to start functioning.

Yes the room felt neglected. Large stains on the rugs, bathroom grout very discolored, bed mattresses were very old and out of shape. Hallway rugs soiled. We’ve stayed here many times over the years. Ownership must have changed. Breakfast was similar to holiday inn etc, precooked omelets, strange sausage. It had been nicer with freshly made items

Staff were friendly. But the room was alittle dirty. There was crumbs and i think blood drops on the carpet in the room. Also, i dont think the bed sheets were changed becasue there was crumbs there as well.

The breakfast is yummy, every day is slightly different which is adds to the variety. Rooms are comfortable and spacious. Wi-Fi is spotty at times. And the shuttle bus to and from the airport is enjoyable with great conversations with Mike the driver. Check is and out was smooth. Front desk will tell you all about the hotel if you have not stayed before.

I have always been impressed by the accommodations at Hyatt Place; however, this stay the staff's efforts to ensure that every customer was happy with their stay truly stood out - in the halls the housekeeping staff were friendly and helpful - at the breakfast bar everyone was helpful!

The room linen was unacceptable and the with knots and clump up inside material within the bed quilt. Totally disgusting. When the staff was alerted I didn’t particularly like the attitude received when asked if someone was going to come up and change the linen or if I had to myself. Maintenance worker was sent up with a blanket for me to have to remove the nasty quilt myself and use the blanket provided. Seriously irritated and disgusted. There was also a sex toy found in the bottom drawer by the sink with a receipt dated 3 December so now I wonder if anyone completely cleaned the room at all. I do have pictures of all deficiencies for my record as well.

We enjoyed our stay at the Hyatt Place by the Jax airplort. It was perfect for our needs and fit the whole family. The room was big enough for 4 of us to stay and get ready for our early morning flight. Amy at the front desk was very helpful and had a great, welcoming attitude. We felt like we were in good hands! The only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 was because we had to use the sofa bed, which was in really horrible condition. The mattress was super thin and very worn. My daughter said it would have been more comfortable not pulling the bed out and sleeping on the couch. That was really the only downside to the room. We would definitely stay again if we had an early morning flight. We were not there late enough in the morning to try their breakfast, but we were pleased that there was coffee in the lobby 24/7 to get our early day started. Definitely recommend and would stay again.

Room #319: The room appeared to be clean, but the shower was filthy. There were brown bacteria growing between the tiles and around the glass door in the shower. The employee who services Room #319 is doing a poor job of cleaning.

Our flight was cancelled by the airlines, so we did not make it to Florida. I asked the hotel for a refund, they would not offer a refund or a credit to use at another time.

' If you like super firm beds, this is the place for you. However, I didn't sleep because of it. The biggest disappointment was with breakfast. My husband went down eearly for some juice only to find the cooks eating. When we went to eat at 9:10 we were told no more food was being put out. The only thing available in what their adverstisement called their "Creatively curated breakfast" was floppy Eggo waffles, sausage links, and some bread to make toast. For a Hyatt I would expect more.

The thing we were most pleased with was the distance to the airport - perfect! It was a quiet area though - no plane noise. Only issue was I had paid Expedia in full prior to arrival and gave the front desk a credit card for $30 "incidental fees" and then my card alerted me to an additional room charge. I had to call the front desk to get it reversed, I was told that instead of charging Expedia they charged me again for the room.

We stayed for 4 days our rooms where never cleaned or fresh towels were never given. The day I was leaving I had to go ask for towels. A lot of money for no service.

The bad. The room seemed like it hasn’t been cleaned very well for a long time. The blinds had dust accumulated in them, each slat was a slightly different color. The comforter didn’t instill confidence that it had been cleaned in some time. It was closer to grey in color than white. The room seemed a bit run down. In the morning we moved the ottoman and found a pair of underwear under it that didn’t belong to my wife and I. Gross! Breakfast was ok. It met the need we were looking for but have had better commentary breakfast before. I will add that we came down around 9am when they stop serving at 930. The good. The staff during check in was friendly, the woman that checked us out seemed genuinely concerned about the cleanliness of the room and took down some notes and even offered us some free snacks from their snack counter. We declined. Initially we wanted to do a late check out but it was a 25 dollar up-charge for 1 hour. Something needs to be done about house cleaning that was the difference between a 5 star and 1 star review. If ever in the area again I will not be staying here.

After a long, frustrating travel day, the young man who checked us in sometime after 1am was polite, quick, and efficient. Very impressed!

The shuttle that operates from the Hyatt Place was so convenient and helpful! The driver was WONDERFUL, accommodating and she was so pleasant to talk with!

Staff was great. Had to request a microwave. Coffeemaker was dirty inside. Toilet paper roll was barely connected to the wall. Had to turn heat up to 80 to get the room comfortable.

Was unable to make it to my reservation. Made attempts to contact the hotel manager several times to obtain a refund or some sort of remedy for the unforeseen circumstances with no response. The manager had someone else tell me there is nothing they can do. This was very disappointing. This hotel is usual my go to when I’m in Jacksonville, of course I will never book at this location again. Very unprofessional the way the situation was dealt with.

Room was not actually clean - everything was sticky, air was musty, bed was extremely uncomfortable, hardly slept. Bathroom was gross, shower doors stained. Headboard of bed had visible stains on it. Blackout curtain was broken. Need to update your rooms and clean them.

I stayed for two nights and while the room was a bit dated and the air conditioner made a funny noise at night, the hotel staff truly made up for it. Everyone was exceptionally friendly, helpful, and always smiling — which is hard to find these days. Their warmth and courtesy turned what could have been an average stay into a really pleasant experience.

Staff is wonderful

Room was fine. Staff was nice. Airport shuttle was a hassle and a half. The shuttle they sent was not marked, so I missed it the first time and had to wait 45mins to get picked up. I scheduled a shuttle back to the airport the next day to rent a car and waited an hour for that shuttle bc the driver wasn’t working. I was given wrong times for the breakfast and so I missed it.

Very good stay, close to the airport

I book these rooms for our corporate construction team working in the Jacksonville area. They always request the Hyatt as being the best.

Breakfast ran out around 915a, was told that they weren't making any more since it ends at 930a. 6 other people did not get to eat. Shuttle was great. Went to walmart and restaurants. Front desk and house keepers were wonderful and friendly. We had 11 people in our party(5 boys between ages of 6-13). They even shuttled them and grandpa to gas station so they could get snacks and drinks. We will definitely be back.

The room featured 2 beds and a sleeper sofa which we used all 3. The sink is located within the room so this allows occupants to shower while others use the sink. The staff provided extra towels and answered any questions - very friendly. Breakfast was a bit better than competitive hotels. I like having dinnerware instead of plastic-ware.

Great staff. Very pleasant not only to me and accommodating my room location request for the benefit of my elderly mother but I overheard the same great attitude, service and kindness to other guests as I walked past the front desk.

Room hadn’t been cleaned properly in a while. Breakfast had a lady working there walking around making no effort to refill drinks and half of the food. Odd smell coming from different areas.
