I stay in town once or twice a week and this was my first time staying here.The Staff was amazing and my stay was very comfortable. I will definitely stay here again in the future.

I got major muscle recovery, in my sore muscles from the jet pressure in the hotel hot tub!👏 My main reason for booking, plus a superbly furnished, clean & spacious room. The customer service, is top notch, can’t wait to invite all my friends!

Excellent room, I had more than I needed, a little home away from home. Very friendly & helpful customer service, the hot tub has sufficient jet pressure. The breakfast fruit was delicious. My room was upgraded without me asking. I genuinely felt welcome here!

The property was clean We got the king room with a sofa bed. The sofa bed did not pull out. It was just a longer couch that was nearly hard as a rock. My son laid on it but did not fit. The king bed was hard to me but my husband loved it.

check was fast and easy. The check-in clerk was very nice, welcoming and friendly. The breakfast had many varieties and was really good. One of the breakfast workers name Tabitha was amazing. She made sure that the guests was comfortable. She went beyond to satisfy the guest.

Prior to our arrival, we asked for an early check-in and we were told to come earlier the day to see if it were possible. We get there and spoke to an elderly woman who said they never do early check-ins. Mind you we had our exhausted 17 month old with us and it was 2:30pm. They couldn't accommodate to let us in 30 minutes earlier? She never said the room wasn't ready. There was an empty bottle under the couch and the utensils and plates were dirty. They confirm we would have a crib, which was in writing, but it wasn't on the reservation. Not only that, it wasn't an actual crib. It was a pack n play. First one they gave us was completely broken that it wouldn't even lock in. If you're you're advertising cribs, you should provide cribs. If you don't have them then you should advertise, pack n play. It's pack and play right. Place is old and run down. Way too over priced for what it is. Also the air conditioner and the open area wouldn't work all the time and when it would it was so loud it would wake our baby up.

The location was good! The Breakfast offered was better than other locations. Didn't see any fruits available. But other than that it was a nice breakfast menu. I was in room 303 the vent fan and light didn't work in the bathroom, the kitchenette sink had a leak underneath. There was no hair dryer in the room. The light on the ceiling didn't work either.

We were in town for the Gate River Run and had to leave at 5:30am. Breakfast, of course, wasn't open yet but the staff when out of her way to make that we had something to eat and brought us food. How awesome is that??!!! We will definitely come back to stay next year!

the shower head wasn't tight on the wall, the room wouldn't cool down, there wasn't extra blankets in the rooms, and we had to keep asking for towels since their wasn't enough in the room.

Clean and a quiet place to stay.

They cut off the water on the last day and the garbage disposal didn’t work, but the hotel room was nicely remodeled and it was very clean. The lady at the front desk was professional and proficient. We will definitely use the hotel again.

From the moment we arrived to the hotel the service was bad Debbie at the first desk was all but pleasant our room didn’t have ac or internet then the pool was dirty and the breakfast was gone by 8am we weren’t giving any towels or was our room serviced while we were there. I would not recommend this place to anymore until renovations are complete.

This pictures are very misleading. The pictures look like there is a separate sitting room. The pull out couch is right in front of the bed and barely extends all the way out without hitting the bed. Leaving no room in between. It was a tiny room, dirty and very dated. Breakfast was ok. Pool was full of leaves and the hot tub wasn’t working. Pillows were a joke. We wont stay here again. They shouldn’t call these suites. This is not a Marriott worthy property.

My room was extremely dirty. The dishwasher had sewage water in it, and it stunk really bad. There was leftover throw up from a previous guest on the sink. I feel like it was false advertising. I was excited to use the pool and Jacuzzi, but the pool was dirty and the Jacuzzi didn’t work.

Aldo and rachel were amazing. So helpful and so nice. Ill definitely be staying at this hotel every time i go to Jacksonville.

Furniture was aged, carpet could be replaced cause it’s make the room look and feel dirty. Other then that the bathroom made up for the look and feel of the room in general. The pool and spa look as if there’s no maintenance up keep and the spa was not working the temperature was cold as the pool. I wouldn’t recommend staying here it’s over price for your comfort.

Water. Called front desk and they said All the rooms are without hot water but working to fix the issue. Then the music that plays in the hallways is too loud. In the still of the night I could hear it from inside my room while I was trying to go back to sleep. They are getting ready to remodel the rooms and have giant shipping containers in the parking lot taking up 50% of the parking spots.

The room was unacceptable. We had no where else to go because it was 1:30am, but we left first thing in the morning. Completely disappointed and would love my money back if possible. I have never been in such a terrible environment.

House keeping was okay. I had to ask a couple times for them to actually change my bed sheets instead of just making the bed. Also, they never did fix the bathroom light.

We really appreciated the helpful, friendly staff. The free breakfast is about the best we have experienced. Great coffee and a variety of good food. We used the grill and made our reservation to stay there again in a few weeks. Thanks to everyone there who helped us and made us feel at home!

We had stayed at this same location about 7 or 8 yrs ago it was better then. Now it was ok, but definitely needs updating. T V channels were pretty weak, I couldn’t even watch FOX network. As well not having any steaming channels. What to me was bad, was that the wall sockets were in need of replacement. When any of us would try to plug in our phone to charge, socket holes so loose it barely held the plug. Only good one was on the kitchen counter or the one by the kitchen table. Not an expensive fit. Thanks for asking because I was intending to write a review anyway.

The manager couldn’t have been any more accommodating. It is an older property but clean and tidy. We were caught without a place due to hurricane evacuation. We had 1 night’s reservation and thought we were going to be out on the street. The manager assured us he would find something. He did and it was perfect. It made our time so much less stressful. We are so grateful to him. His assistants were, as well, the best! They eased the stress - I would never stay anywhere else when in Jacksonville.

With private bathroom, because there were 3 of us, was told we booked a queen studio even though I had a picture of my itinerary of what was booked, which was a 1 bedroom king suite with a private bathroom. That is a bedroom with a door and a separate area with a pull out couch. Man at desk would not help us and put us in what was reserved. We also had support dogs and was charged for them which is wrong. It’s pretty discouraging the clerk at front was unwilling to put us in the room we actually booked and paid for. So my question is, are you false advertising what you have available? What happened to top customer service? Very disappointed in this hotel and customer service we received.

Stains on couch, cabinets old and nasty, carpet gross. Needs major overhaul. The bed was ok but hot- likely memory foam and bedding very nice. Bathroom good- lots of amenities. Breakfast ugh- everything was microwaved , lousy selection. Omelets those microwaved kind- fruit old and over ripe - just go to Cracker Barrel and skip this “free breakfast “. I would not stay here again.

The property was overall good. For having the Marriott name the property needs work. The AC was leaking in the lobby and the pool was down due to maintenance. The property needed updating as they bathroom light fixtures were rusting and the room doors had chunks missing. Our room had to be switched after the first night because the hot water stopped working in the shower. The staff was great but the property needs updated.

The pool was out of order our entire stay. They said they couldn’t get the chemicals right but I think it was more than that. They were very evasive about it.

I stayed at this hotel while getting radiation and chemo treatment at the Mayo Clinic. The staff were amazing. The room was very outdated and had a terrible smell. I had to go buy plugins to deter the smell. In addition, the pool was out of order the entire stay. Marriott needs to be ashamed!

The property was clean. The older staff lady at the front desk was very nice at checkin and informed us as where to go. The pool was being drained and in process of refilling it. The hottub was working but needed to be screened out. The room was clean. Beds were comfy. Liked that the offer a 2 bedroom suite with a kitchen and small livong room was the highlight. Would stay again for space. Just wish the outside grounds were better maintained. No major complaints.

The room was nice and comfortable. The only thing that was different was you had to let them know you wanted you room cleaned. When they clean a room they do it fast and efficiently.

We really liked the room, but we were in 224 the curtains in both the main living space and the master bedroom are in severe disrepair, torn and stained in need of replacement.. The carpet in the main living space was torn and poorly patched. Otherwise we enjoyed the stay.

We are a family of six and have always tried to fit in a standard hotel room with 2 queen beds. The last could trips we realized that no longer worked for us but we didn’t want to pay the high cost of 2 rooms. The 2 bedroom suite, complete with separate living room, full kitchen and full bathroom! We were all so comfortable. The staff was nice, just no one was around when we were trying to get snacks. The continental breakfast had many many options and my 4 hungry boys left full. The price was so great too! Cheaper than 2 hotel rooms and better! Will definitely look for these suites in the future!

I checked in very late, the staff was very friendly and accommodating. The room was better than advertised. A lot of amenities in an amazing room. The location was great, with a lot of great restaurants near by. Overall, a great experience.

Was offered “complimentary “ mini bottles of water in a mini fridge on check in which I accepted only to find was later charged for them (or something else, don’t know what). Separate from “pay items market area” Day staff refused to credit charges and was told to call back later (no answer) so I cancelled rest of stay went to Holiday Inn. Not up to Marriott standards, holes in walls, damaged baseboards, dirty, stained couch. Hot tub outside with large body of standing water nearby, not ideal. Glad I could cancel rest of weekly stay.Bye bye Marriott!

Easy parking for work vehicles in a nice safe place. Rooms were big and roomy. Easy for family and friends to stay in the suites without multiple rooms. Staff was nice.. no complaints.

This is an amazing place to stay. Love it! The beds are sooo comfy and the breakfast was amazing! The only reason I rated it lower is because the pool was not in working order and they didnt mention it on their website at all. We had some unhappy kids. Luckily the hotel next to us let us use their's.

The room needs help. It was a 2 bedroom suite on the side of the hotel with only one water heater. The person at the desk told us we needed to run the water for about 10 minutes for it to heat up-it worked but what a waste of time and water. There had been damage to the lower wall in a couple of places. It looked like a toddler patched them. The dishwasher didn’t work (or maybe it was waiting for hot water 😂). The carpets felt sticky. The light fixtures were rusted like they had been left outside. The drapes were torn. The a/c barely kept up with the humidity. Fortunately we weren’t in the room much. One bright spot is the beds were comfy and again the staff were very nice.

Room had enough space to not keep our dogs cramped and we were able to walk them and play and basically have some semblance of a “home” away from home. It was nice

Very old hotel. Shower heads doesn’t work properly. Room service need to be informed 24 hrs before for room cleaning. Front desk staff is hostile, does not cooperate for anything you ask. I was charged extra than what was booked. They doesn’t seem to listen to me and no patience to listen to their customers. This is my experience as valued Bonvoy member.

Awful! Can’t believe Marriott puts their name on this hotel. From awful rooms/beds to running out of breakfast before 9:00 and didn’t care in fact they laughed. Also saw a child not getting breakfast and crying and nobody cared!!

The location is great with restaurants and shopping walking distance. Unfortunately the rooms need updating, you can see rusted fixtures, dirty paint, broken molding and the room had a distinct smell, not a bad one but it smelled old or something. Next time I would probably stay at any of the other hotels on same road.

DO NOT USE THE LAUNDRY! To this day I am being charged from the laundry room SCAM! I tried to do laundry, it said insert card, I than got a notification that a scam was trying to go through on my card from my bank . Lucky for me I have the extra insurance for my bank account or I would have been stranded with no way to pay and locked out of my account. The front desk lady deb didn't even care. Since being home they have tried to charge my account 4x! I called the property they don't care. DO NOT USE THE LAUNDRY service there. It's a scam! ( scanned the qr code on property and it was a scam. ) Very clean property other wise. Easy access from main roads.

Great place, clean, staff wonderful. Carpet in room needed repair but they stated they are planning to renovate soon. Breakfast was good. Didn’t use pool or hot tub because it was 20-40 degrees out.

Front desk staff were kind. Breakfast was better than expected! Hard to identify other hotel staff from guests. Sofa bed has no mattress!!!!! It had no softness at all. Box spring with wood down the middle. Our room door appeared to be crowbar opened so much that you could see in and out when the door was closed. Other doors were the same. I was a little worried. Why hasn’t this been fixed? COVID is now the convenient excuse for not wanting to provide housekeeping, open pool, open gym. I will not choose this hotel again.

Generally a pleasant stay. Unfortunately the pool and hot tub were disgusting,shade torn so light came in non stop, carpet in 1 bedroom smelled like a wet dirty dog, trash can in kitchen under sink overflowing when we checked in, 1 of the 2 elevators were torn up & outside of a secondary door apparentlypeople use it for dogs to go to bathroom becauseit was overpowering. Employees were very polite, loved the layout of the room, convenience of 2 washer/dryers... we were there 4 nights.

Well worth the money. The staff was fantastic. The only negatives were the broken elevator and the workout area. I will stay here again.

This was the worst time ever “attempting” to book a stay at this property. I received an email an hour before checking in after I drove all the way there only to be told that my booking was canceled. Not so much as a courtesy call or a rebooking or anything. Just completely terrible customer service. Extremely disappointed with this property’s practice of not accommodating in any way regardless of the circumstances.

I was honestly pleasantly surprised by the quality of. It’s the lady who checked me in, and then one who checked me out. In an era where it seems like no one wants work, and businesses are short handed, these two ladies were above and beyond.

This place is amazing it’s very cozy I recommend it 8 out of 10 in my book

Staff very pleasant, first five minutes found a big bug (not roach) but unsettling. Couch had stains all over it. Everything was old. Not worth anything like what we paid for it. Happy we were only staying one night. Thought because it was a Marriott we could count on it. Think I will stick with Hilton’s going forward.

It was a very disappointing property. Not very clean and the room had mold in the shower. The staff, however, were very nice and went out of their way to be friendly and welcoming.

Build up of dirt behind commode. On check out, the clerk told us we could have had a cheaper rate if we would have used their “MAYO Clinic” discount. I told them when I checked in that I was there to undergo a week long radiation treatment at MAYO and no one mentioned it then.

Not a bad hotel but Tun down. The bldg looked okay but everything was beat up. It was clear many things had been repaired and on the cheap. Pictures were missing from the wall and the hardware was still there. The hot tub didn’t bubble or jet. Not a bad hotel but clearly needs some updating!

The breakfast is OK. If they will provide yogurt for the breakfast, it would be more better.

I made a reservation for a room that could sleep at least 5 people- there were 2 full size beds and that was it. The room on Expedia said it could accommodate 6. The carpet in the room was tearing up and strips were actually missing. the doorframe leading into the room looked like it was broken into and someone did a sloppy job of caulking it.

The room was questionably clean. Some of the towels had an unpleasant smoky odor to them. Also found hair strands on the towels and sheets. The kitchenette fixtures were loose and dirty.

The property is presentable, good parking. I was disappointed in the cleanliness and smell of the room. When we walked into our room the room smelled of cigarette smoke, the smoke detector was missing, the fridge was full of the previous renters food.due to Covid that made me think the rest of the room wasn’t thoroughly cleaned and I had to wipe down the whole room myself. It wasn’t until I spoke to the General Manager that they cleaned the fridge. The stove was a two burner and one burner didn’t function. They over booked rooms and weren’t able to put us in another room, our stay was 6 days.

We have been staying there once a year for the past 3-4 years and have not had any complaints till this year. The carpeting was frayed, the darkening curtain was torn, one light in the foyer was out and the toilet had to be flushed twice to empty it. The whole appearance has deteriorated. Time to sell it to Red Roof. Do not show my name with the review.

This was my worst Marriott experience ever!! To have Covid procedures in place this property was not clean as expected. Customer services were excellent and the size of the two bedroom suit was just right for a family. Do I recommend this property? NO!!
