    1st room offered looked like bullet shot TV in living area nail polish paint on door know cigarettes put out on wall beside key entry Light didn't work properly food in couch 2nd room offered no TV in living area bed room TV no remote then they brought aa handful of remotes and said one should work one of the remote finally worked but the TV only showed black you could hear it not see it like a jail or something no sound no nothing and covers and floors had burn holes flat old pillows that cause much pain to back shoulders and head and back. I decided to just not stay and checked back out and left instead of trying a 3rd off from all the frustrations and no working elevators too walking up and down 3 flights of stairs especially when the side door locks don't accept room key so you have to walk the building ect

    No breakfast. Coffee and apple juice. Cereal, no spoons. The rooms were clean and ours had a small den. TV no remote in den. A/C froze us out. Beds were clean. It's an older place but I thought it was neat. Lobby was clean. No breakfast. No pool. Elevator doesn't work.

    My wife and had a 3rd floor room. This is the second time we have stayed there within a 2 month period and the elevator was still broken. Our room had no remote for the TV and also only a half of roll of toilet paper in the bathroom. Really only positives was the staff being helpful and nice and bed was comfortable. We will not stay here again until the elevator is fixed or we are able to get a first floor room.

    this place was filthy! Would not recommend this place to anyone. Did not stay less than 5 minutes, then asked for refund, manager still has not returned my money! Everything! 1st- elevator out of order, rooms filthy mess, light fixture hanging with wires showing, cigarette burn holes in comforter, what is on the website is nothing like what we walked into, and for our money not to be returned is unacceptable. We did not stay not even 5 minutes. Walked onto the floor and could not smell anything but marijuana.

    When we arrived, they had already given our reserved room to someone else. From there, things only got worse. They first tried moving us to a room where the door lock didn’t work, the room smelled horrible, and everything looked dirty and stained. They then attempted two additional rooms, both of which also had issues. One had another broken door lock, and another had no working lights at all. Eventually, we were moved to a room on the third floor, despite there being no elevator and my elderly mother traveling with us. The room itself felt unsafe and poorly maintained. The smoke detectors had been disconnected, the electrical outlets were so loose and damaged we were afraid to plug anything in, and there was even a hole in the bathroom wall. There were also no trash cans in the room. When we asked for washcloths, they said they had none. When we requested an iron, they handed us one attached to a giant base like it belonged in a museum exhibit called Hotels of Regret. To make matters worse, there was water leaking from the ceiling outside one of the rooms into a trash can in the hallway, and staff members were openly complaining to guests about management. The billing situation was the final straw. The hotel successfully charged our card, the payment had fully gone through on our account, and they still repeatedly attempted to charge us

    We were unable to stay because we opted to pay upon our arrival, therefore Ark Suites booked all their rooms out before we arrived. So we did not have any of the rooms we booked once we arrived.

    Love the room size and the price… they’re clearly in the middle of some sort of development stage where they still have a lot of renovation to do. As well as staff hires, interior upgrades and modern technology… but I enjoyed my stay, staff was wonderful!

    The first room we were sent to was not cleaned. In the second room, the lights were unplugged. There was only a thin blanket (more like a sheet on the bed) and we borrowed pillows from the couch to be able to sleep. There was painting supplies in the hallway (obviously they are remodeling some areas, but these items were just left there. We stayed Sunday night). The “continental breakfast) appeared to be dry cereal and a few slices of bread. So, we went elsewhere for breakfast. It was cheap, but not a place we will stay again.

    Immediately after check-in we informed the front desk of burned out light bulbs, no garbage can in the room, door lock non functioning, the tv not working properly, massive amounts of old equipment stored in the hallway right outside the door, the toilet not being bolted securely. We were offered no resolution. Was told there was breakfast at 7am. There was none! (Not that we would have eaten, this place is beyond old and run down). Talked to the front desk at check out also and was just told “sorry”. Tried having hotels.com mediate a resolution and was told we didn’t bring anything to their attention within 30 min of check in. Not true since I was at the front desk within minutes of entering the room they gave us.

    Not friendly,when I checked I had to go get towels bc there was none I checked in at 3:00pm them room also smelled funny. These is the second time we have stayed there and both times not good. We usely come down once a month and stay a night or few days. Will not be staying there anymore

    3 different rooms. All different issues to include occupied. Toilets, TV's, lightbulbs, all not working, and that was just the start of the inconvenience. Should be removed from your list or closed. The night clerk tried to help us, but there was really nothing she could do. She did try.

    No breakfast the mattress didn't fit the frame. Couch was worn out. Broken tiles in bathroom. Water dripping from bathroom ceiling. Poor paint job. Trash bins over flowing. I will never stay there again. And yes i got what i paid fir .

    First room the heat did not work and window was held shut by a stick. You could not even out the windows as they were discolored badly Was moved to another room on the second floor. The elevator did not work. The room smelled damp and musty, spots on sheets the heat would not stay on and no shower curtain. I would avoid this motel at all costs

    They front desk said they were under renovations. The room was covered in dust, a lot! The carpet looked awful. No extra pillows or blankets. Elevator broken, had no rooms on first floor had to climb stairs to get to the room. And it wasn't the one we booked. Said breakfast from 6-9. And there was nothing there. We had to leave early due to the storm that was coming in and the sign said absolutely no refunds. The guy at the desk said he put in for us to get the money back since the show we were supposed to attend got rescheduled. The great worked the bed linens were clean and the shower was clean. The toilet looked like no one had bleached it ever, it was stained dark yellow. I won't be back.

    Took 45 minutes to check-in and get a room key that worked. Lots of things were broken and most were filthy. Doesn't appear that any maintenance has been done on this hotel for years. Towels were rags. Hair wiskers were on sink vanity. Dirty ring in toilet as if it hadn't been cleaned for 3 weeks. Though they said coffee and a light / cold breakfast was provided from 9-11 AM, there was zero food and NO COFFEE

    Workers were unprofessional, place smelled funny, 3 small flat pullows for a king. Cobwebs all over lower window, poor quality soaps, no breakfast at 830a when it was supposed to be until 9a. Dirty shower head. Tv was very spotty. Do not recommend.

    The property was completely under staffed with one poor employee that as having to do everything The overall place was filthy. The poor girl that checked me in has to go with me to physically check 4 rooms before we found one that the A/C worked. Then after returning late that night realized that the room appeared to have been vacant for months and not been cleaned. Only sheets on the bed, the TVs were not even connected to cable or plugged in, no phone in the room, the key did not work and the poor guy working that night had to use the hard key to let me in, there were dirt dobber nests on the ceiling, the room and while floor smelled like a HUGE ashtray. after sleeping in this room for 5-6 hours, I ended up with a sinus infection and have been sick ever since. This was a really nice place several years ago but now is the worst Hotel I have ever stayed at and will never do it again.

    Tried to get a refund and we were denied. There was no signage stating no refunds. Third room was non-smoking on first floor. Cleaner but the AC did not work! The FOURTH room was at least clean and had AC but had no hot water in the sink.

    The room was not clean. It smelled musty and it definitely needs an upgrade. For the price it didn’t have bugs so that was a plus. Do not recommend unless you cannot afford anything else.

    I discovered the morning after my first night that the door would not latch closed. I told the person at the desk and she just said ok. It’s a nasty place. I booked and paid for 2 nights and left after 1. It’s posted all over the place “no refunds” they show nice pictures and give you nasty rooms.

    Worst hotel ever. Check in went fine, but the keycard would not open our door. I had to make 3 trips back to the front desk to get different keys, but the keys never worked. After waiting 25 minutes a hotel employee finally came and used a key to open the door. We were told by the staff that the door was broken and we would have to get a staff member to open the door each time. Once in the room, we discovered it had not been cleaned. There were used towels in the tub, cigarette ashes on the toilet, fruity pebbles all over the floor, hairs on the sink, etc. It was bad. I went back to the front desk and requested a new room. After waiting in line, the hotel obliged and gave us a new room. I took the new key, went to the new room and this key did not work either. I went back to the front desk they reset the key and it finally worked. When I went in the new room all three beds were unmade and had been slept in. All the pillows were on the floor. A chair was blocking the door. There was trash and alcohol bottles everywhere. I walked down the hall to another room where I found a cleaning person working and told him about the state of the room and he said it wasn’t his job to clean that room. I then went back to the front desk where the attendant stated that nobody else was having problems with any of the rooms, and he didn’t understand why I was complaining. I showed him the photos and he said I couldn’t stay there and he would get me a room at a different hotel.

    We checked in for two rooms and asked if one could be cancelled since our whole party didn’t show. The rep said they would check but never got back to us. Upon returning to the room at night our room keys did not work. We were able to go to front desk to reactivate keys with no problem. In the middle of the night we were waken by police and loud knocking saying we were staying illegally and we need to leave. After showing proof that we weren’t they said we would stay in the room free of charge for this mishap. Apparently they were able to cancel the room and never told us. We said we would leave and they insisted on us staying since they made a mistake and the communication was bad between employees. We left the next morning and return and the keys were deactivated again, they stated the room was cancelled and that we were staying illegally again and had moved our stuff from the room to another. I spoke with Robert the manager and he stated he would reach out to the owners but nothing has been done and it’s 3 weeks later and we were charged for the room still

    Hotel is very run down. Peeling wallpaper, stained and sticky carpet in room, and stains on the walls. There were no mattress pads on the beds..sheets on a bare mattress. Pillows were stained. Towels were stained. On the plus side, the staff was very friendly, and the beds were comfortable.
