Walls had spackle on them , the doers weren’t flush , the atmosphere overall was terrible. Traveling in a group with girls. The girls didn’t feel safe on the property.

Very nice and clean. Quiet place to lay out heads for the night. Price was a tad more than I would have liked to have paid for one night, but the suite was very nice.

They provided the rooms with the simplest things you wouldn't think to bring, like silverware ,plates and bowls. The room gave you the comfort of being at home. The staff were attentive, courteous, and informative. We would definitely recommend staying here!
- 2/5
They have a faulty firearm system it started going off at 4am, waking everyone in the up. A lot checked out because of it. They didn’t not offer refunds or discount for the issue either. Over heard a worker telling the firefighters it happens all the time.

Had full kitchen with two spoons and all other needed dishes and supplies. Impressive.

Front desk staff were nice!

The property is being renovated so a lot of the materials are sitting in the lobby. The staff is amazing and professional. They were very helpful and made my stay enjoyable. The only issue I had is the toilet had a noticeable leak and a spider came out to visit me in the bathroom. The area around the property is being redeveloped so there are alot of empty buildings as well as buildings that are also being renovated. I will most definitely stay again in the near future.

Great overnight stay!

This was so not worth the money. We didn’t have duvets on the bed, there were not any towels in the room and to top it off there was not a shower curtain in the bathroom. The number beside the door was missing and there was a note left asking if anyone had information to please report the whereabouts. Tub was nasty had to clean it out the refrigerator had mold. Just a horrible experience but it was too late find another hotel.
- 1/5
The toilet flooded the bathroom everytime it was used. Tv didnt work. Informed staff
- 4/5
Nice and easy stay. Lobby was mostly taken up by boxes of new furnishings since it was being remodeled, but I saw that as a plus because they're improving.
- 2/5
Checked in around 7 pm. Got back to the hotel around 11 pm. As we was walking up to our room the hotel staff was walking out of our room. When I asked what they was doing they said that all the rooms had not been booked right and they was checking to see if someone was in this room. Not very professional. Good thing I wasn’t already asleep when they let theirselves into my room. When I said something to the lady at the desk when I checked out, she acted like she didn’t care and when I asked her how she would feel about it she said she would be upset also and she turned and walked away. Been satisfied with Candelwood in the past but not sure I’ll be back. Hope someone up the food chain at this hotel actually reads this.

Place to sleep and be warm.
- 4/5
Under renovation. Didn't know until there.
- 5/5
great staff
- 1/5
The desk attendant was rude, the room smelled of cigarettes, the shampoo and body wash were completely empty, the bathroom was not clean.
- 1/5
We did not stay! Horrible property and surroundings.
- 1/5
I will never stay at this hotel again. It took 30 minutes to check in, then later they came to the door (at 10pm) and wanted to run a charge on our credit card. Room was pre-paid with Expedia, but they still double charged the room to my card. After multiple unreturned calls to management, the complaint was taken to the chain management who at least refunded some of the room. Room stinked badly, and all the desk staff did was offer a bottle of spray to cover the smell. I will avoid this place at all cost.
- 1/5
There was blood on the pillows room was very dirty. Black colored smuges on ceiling and matress. Building going through remodel and it was apparent in the room and hallways. When checking out the staff was extremely rude and disrespectful
- 1/5
For the amount of money I paid it was not a good. I will never stay there again
- 5/5
Great staff clean rooms comfortable beds! The only thing this hotel couldn’t provide was a fan!
- 5/5
The only thing that would have made this hotel better is a pool! Everything else was very nice! The owner was very respectful and a proudly served his city! I would definitely stay here again if I ever returned to Jonesboro!
- 2/5
The room that I had smelled musty. A distinct difference from the clean smell in the hallway. I had bicycles on a rack attached to my car and had to bring them into the room because I did not feel they would still be there in the morning. The pet fee is per dog which is absolutely ridiculous. I will NOT stay at this hotel again if this! I booked through Expedia and although Expedia charged me, the front desk would not let me check in without running my card again. This was resolved in the morning but very frustrating when trying to check in. Not a good experience at all and will NOT stay at this hotel chain again!
- 3/5
Girl at front desk was friendly like always but the room didn't have a hair dryer and one of the towels was stained up and looked dirty
- 1/5
Room had musty or smoky smell, as well as the hallways, the entrance reeked of cigarette smoke, I booked a queen suite and they gave me a regular room with two double beds, not what i booked, and had no other rooms available. Only one luggage dolly for the entire hotel. Needless to say we left and booked at another hotel, will not be booking with candelwood again.
- 5/5
As soon as we got to our room, we realized we need a big comfy chair for my elderly mother. I called the desk and the easiest way was to change rooms. The had us all set up in the me room in less than 15 minutes. I appreciate them so much. My mother is very comfortable right now.
- 1/5
The front desk staff was helpful and understanding. They refunded our money with no issue.
- 5/5
The folks there was sweet but the room we were in was clean but a few items were broken. The hanging area in closet was broke and the shower caddy that holds the shampoo and other stuff was broken!!!! Even though things was broken they were still usable!!!!!!!
- 4/5
Our overnight stay turned out well after changing suites due to stale, smokey smell, carpet with crumbs and table surfaces not cleaned off. Host Pam was very accommodating by letting me check out other suites and pick the one best suited for my family. Appreciated her understanding and help.

showed up at 1:30 due to Memphis meeting cut short. Understood check in time was 3:00pm. Told room not ready yet. Parking lot almost empty, didn't seem very busy. Said maybe I could get in around 2. Went for late lunch and returned at 2:00 and told not quite ready. At two thirty in a lobby w/o other customers' room still not ready. Told clerk that at 3:00 I either wanted a room or a statement of non availability. Five minutes later I had a room. Future Jonesboro trips will probably consider other arrangements. Otherwise room and price was good.
- 5/5
Nice, I know some hotels, motels remodel. With the amount of people stilling in these places ware and tear happens on a daily basics. We were very happy at our stay. It was quite and affordable.
- 5/5
Quite, convenient location, and nice parking.
- 1/5
Paid 250 plus for one night. Came in for college graduation. Room was very dilapidated.Thermostat for HVAC didn’t work upon arrival. There were no towels of any kind present in room when arrived. WiFi was intermittent if any at all. Drywall falling off in bathroom. Definitely would not stay at any Candlewood suites again. For the amount we paid we thought would be nicer.
- 2/5
The hotel was dirty, the common areas and rooms. My first room smelled like smoke. Rob at the front desk was very kind. I do not recommend this property.
- 4/5
Close to everything in Jonesboro.

Overall a nice stay.
- 5/5
It was all good....
- 3/5
Dirty carpet, no shampoo or bath products, not even amount of utensils, ants and spiders in bathroom and on bedding.
- 4/5
Whenever I visit Jonesboro I prefer this hotel to any other because it was always nice and home feeling. This time it was just okay. Once I got there I had to wait about 20-30 minutes to check in because the clerk was no where to be found. Soon as she came she apologized but mam your not suppose to leave your desk unless it’s an emergency. The prices have gone up a lot. I’m used to paying at least $80 but now they are well over $100. I should have taken pictures of what the room look like that they don’t show on their site. The paint chipping in room, and bathroom. The dirty dingy towels that are still hung up like they are usable. They clerk said they were clean they just couldn’t get it back white. Well that just means someone is not washing right or not ordering enough to replace. There was an office chair in the room that needs to be disposed of because there was no more leather even in the chair. The bed was quite comfortable, and they usually are. I’m not persuading anyone from coming to this hotel. Like I said I prefer it over any. I just think they should do some upgrading.

Nice friendly staff
- 3/5
Good lighting, access doors easy to get to and conveniently located.
- 3/5
Maybe due to the Covid-19 restrictions, but the staff was seldom visible. The room smelled musty. The A/C blew cold air but the circulation did not go to all parts of the room. Not worth the money for one night.
- 4/5
Gym was great n good polnzz as nd clean roooms Ben
- 5/5
Really nice hotel with a nice kitchen and all the equipment needed for an extended stay. I only enjoyed an over night stay and it was very comfortable and quiet in a good location. I highly recommend Candlewood suites.

Could have been kept a little fresher, seemed a little run down.

Clean comfortable room for a good price. No breakfast but saved enough to go get something somewhere else.
- 5/5
Very clean and nice size rooms. Great location right off the interstate.
- 5/5
Perfect location and nice amenities
- 3/5
I like what the rooms have to offer. I like the kitchenette. I also like the shampoo and soap dispensers in the shower. The only issue was the conditioner was out.
- 4/5
Nice place to stay. Room was nice and accommodating
- 2/5
The lady that checked is in had given our room away and had to give us another one. Ee asked if there was one with 2 beds and she said they were all booked up. We asked for a roll away cot and afain were told no. For a parking lot half empty i have my doubts.
- 4/5
I liked that it had adequate parking and they have parking passes.
- 4/5
This is an extended stay property so there was a full size refrigerator, cooktop, dishwasher, microwave and dishes & pots & pans, but because of this there was no complimentary breakfast. Everything was very nice though.
- 5/5
Room was clean and roomy. It was a very nice stay.
- 5/5
Pam, the night manager, was very helpful and friendly. The room and hotel was very clean. I know, we run a janitorial service. Their cleaning staff do an excellent job! The facility is also well maintained. Everything worked and looked new. Plus, the price was very reasonable. We could not have been happier!
- 4/5
Great place to stay in Jonesboro
- 3/5
Property was nice enough. Some of the staff were really rude, and no one seemed to have correct information which made everything harder than it had to be. Staff needs to have some basic education on hospitality.
- 3/5
We found a drawer full of women’s underwear when unpacking - it made me wonder if our room had even been cleaned. That was a very simple detail that if housekeeping was doing their job- wouldn’t have been missed! Gross
- 3/5
Hmmmmm😡
- 5/5
Room was clean and comfortable Beds were great Staff was friendly
- 5/5
Everything was good, clean, and friendly, except out ac unit was leaking water in front of the window.
- 3/5
I am inly in town for a family reunion and need a clean comfortable place to stay for a few days. I feel safe staying in the Candlewood. It meets are needs fora few days
- 2/5
At check in they had a computer issue with the reservations that I made. And although I showed them my reservation email, plus the credit card statement showing the payment was taken out of my account. The front desk person refused to do anything saying it wasn't on her computer. And after badmouthing third party sites, said she could do a better deal for me than them. But ended up charging me the same rate as I had already paid anyway. Ridiculous!
- 4/5
I wouldn't stay there again because of the high pet charge.
- 5/5
Lovely area, all restaurants are nearby highly recommend! Next trip I’ll make sure to stay there!
- 5/5
I like the studio suites. Nice spacious rooms with kitchens and comfortable beds.
- 5/5
The staff had very excellent customer service & was very helpful
- 5/5
Cable TV was a bit of a puzzle. Otherwise, everything was up to snuff and the price is right.
- 5/5
Nice, clean hotel with a friendly staff in an easy to access area.
- 4/5
We were very happy to find a hotel that accepts pets. The room was very nice and roomy. The bedding was exceptionally clean. However, the room had a very musty ofor that made it difficult to sleep. Also, one of the security doors would not work with our card key. We complained twice with no help. Otherwise we were very pleased
- 5/5
The room and lobby was very clean. The staff were extremely courteous and friendly. It is centrally located. It had a full size fridge, dishwasher, 2 stove eyes, pots, dishes, and silverware. I would definitely recommend it for a extended stay.
- 4/5
Front desk staff great. Carpet pretty bad throughout. Not expecting much where it is. I would stay there again.
- 4/5
This property was great.it was very clean and the room had everything that I needed. However, it was graduation weekend so it was a little loud. Kids running in the halls. Also, the TV lost signal Saturday and never started working again before I checked out. That was no good. Overall, this is a great place to stay. It was very and that’s always the most important thing for me.
- 4/5
Proximity of restaurants.
- 5/5
Great experience from check in to room comfort. Lots of nice little touches. I travel a lot and they have got it right.
- 2/5
It was a necessary stop and it was the only hotel around that had pet friendly rooms available. The front desk staff was super nice and upgraded us to a non-smoking suite since there were only smoking rooms available. Paige, the front desk staff, was as sweet as could be but our stay just left much to be desired. The suite was spacious but smelled like mildew. It felt humid in the room despite the air being turned to 65 degrees when we walked in. The bed was HORRENDOUS. We sunk right to the middle of the bed and every move was a squeaky squeal. I even tried the pull out couch which was WORSE. Glad we were able to make a pit stop but it was the worse night of our trip. No sleep or rest was had. Awful. Would never stay there again.
- 1/5
They double-charged my credit card despite the fact that I already paid through expedia. It has been over a week since I checked out and I still have been unable to reach a manager or an owner to resolve this issue and I have called every business day.
- 1/5
No one even tried to make any of it better. It would have been a better experience to have just slept in my car. or on their sidewalk.
- 2/5
The receptionist that booked me in on Friday evening was super nice. However, the room was dirty, there was mold in the bathroom. The coffee machine was broken. I got snapped at at the reception desk because the lady behind the desk was a housekeeper and should not have to be polite. They said they would bring me a new coffee maker but it never arrived. I was so upset when I checked out that I left my tablet in the room. Of course it was not found when I called back a few hours later
- 5/5
I will definitely stay at this location the next time I'm in town
- 5/5
We will definitely be staying here for now on. Great priced too! Love it! Thank you for all your staff being so kind to us. Rooms were comfortable clean and updated!! Awesome place!!
- 5/5
Hotel was comfortable. Perfect for relaxing. And very roomy. Bring your own TP though. Only down side was the TP.
- 2/5
Platinum IHG member, not welcome, no water, no nothin. No breakfast, just a room full of junk food. Stayed 2 nights, they didn't bother to clean the room at all. Great location and many other hotels in same area, stay all way from this.one.
- 2/5
When I think of Candlewoods Suites I think of a modern and upscale hotel chain, however this place is run down and beat up. The carpet in the room I stayed was torn, the sheets and pillow cases weren't completely white, almost looked a little yellowish, the walls seemed thin because you could hear others quite often. The signage at the hotel isn't that great either. I arrived in the back and when I parked out front I had to step back and look up at the hotel sign on the top of the building to make sure I had the right hotel because there are many hotels in that vicinity. The bed was not very comfortable, and with the decor and condition of the hotel that didn't really surprise me. I didn't really feel welcomed there from the time I checked in until the time I left so unfortunately I'll never include that hotel in my future list of places to stay. I'd absolutely recommend finding a different place to stay.
- 5/5
i'll be back. with 2 doggies.Keep up the good work.
- 4/5
Had a funeral to attend and we needed a pet friendly hotel. Beautiful facility with comfort and charm. Most we have ever paid for a pet fee though.
- 2/5
No daily room cleaning, if you need clean towels you have to take the used ones to the front desk and exchange for clean ones. No exhaust fan in the bathroom. Had to ask to have waste baskets emptied. Their "pantry" was not restocked daily and their fresh fruit should have been thrown out days before I checked in and it was still there 8 days later! Did have a full kitchen and free laundry but dryers were not new. I do not need fancy but do need the room cleaned daily.
- 4/5
Love the free laundry especially when coming home a little dirty from the job site. Hotel was perfect for packing light on long business trip.
- 1/5
I said at this hotel and no one came to clean my room and give me towels. Trash was piled up from when I ordered lunch. My room was near the staff door so I could hear people slamming doors
