Reviews
The hotel staff is generally friendly and accommodating, and the rooms are often described as clean and comfortable. However, there are consistent complaints about the lack of free breakfast and issues with room cleanliness, including dirty towels, unvacuumed floors, and stained or damaged furniture.

The location of the property was nice, close to restaurants so you did not have to drive. Staff were friendly. When you first walk into the property, it seems clean and well maintained. When you get into your room, it is a different story; no trash bags in the trash cans, bathroom had public hair all over, floor needed vacuumed, tv barely worked, and the headboard needed cleaned. Would not recommend anyone to stay here.

The rooms were comfortable, clean and quiet. Staff was polite. Lots of variety at breakfast. You can't just walk in to the breakfast area and serve yourself. Instead, the front desk staff stops you and asks if you want to pay for it, even if it's included in your room reservation (in my case). Very awkward and inconvenient. They didn't have a record of it, so I had to pull up an email confirmation and show it to them just to get breakfast. Trash cans in the lobby were overflowing. Several items were empty (coffee pots, utentils, etc). We were told there were no extra blankets. We wanted to do laundry but no detergent packs were for sale up front, or available from housekeeping.

The location was convenient They conveniently “forgot” to give me the breakfast coupon I paid extra for- I had to ask for it, the TV outside in patio area didn’t work, breakfast French toast in chafer was burnt to a crisp, you had to ask for water at breakfast- it’s free so I think you can afford to put it out as self serve, no forks out, no bowls out, we had water in our ice bucket in our room which was clearly from the last guest, no filtered water available anywhere in hotel, the lighting in the room is terrible- the work desk has no light even near it, hallways were dark, the young lady working the breakfast was working very hard and always on the move, everyone else working at the hotel last night and today was sitting at the front desk.

It was an updated facility. Beds were super comfortable. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Breakfast staff included. Breakfast. The food was mediocre at best.

Front desk staff was great. It was exceptionally clean which was a big deal for me. The only issue I had was theTV. I like to surf through channels and you had to plug in a channel number. It was weird. Everything else was great.

The bed was uncomfortable
- 4/5
Good location to where we we going. It was clean. The lady that was checking us in on Saturday evening just was not friendly. We stood at the desk for 3 to 4 minutes before she even acknowledged us. I was later told that she was new.
- 5/5
Great breakfast with several selections to choose from. Room was large, clean and beds were very comfortable with great pillows. Could have used larger bath towels.
- 5/5
Exactly what we needed. Attended a concert and just wanted a safe, comfortable place to lay our heads. Attentive and courteous front desk, very comfortable beds, great location.
- 2/5
Key cards didn't work, room looked very run down and a huge party of people woke us up during the night and kept us up.
- 5/5
Visited Jonesboro and always like to stay at holiday inn there. Convenient to walk across street to Cracker Barrel to eat too.
- 5/5
Every employee was super nice, friendly and went above and beyond. We were in town for a concert and we will definitely return here for our stay
- 1/5
There was nothing good about this property. The woman at the front desk was incompetent and difficult to deal with. She told me that I did not have a reservation even though the rest of our party had checked in to their room with no issue. She only found it after I gave her my confirmation number without her asking for it. The hotel itself smelled bad and was dirty. The area surrounding the hotel was unsafe, dilapidated, surrounded by vagrants, and we heard loud music and screaming from our room. I would never stay here again.

Convenient

One night stay for a college event for my child. Clean hotel in a great location. I paid extra for breakfast & I won’t do that again. However, I would stay at this location again in the future.
- 2/5
Clerk in the beginning of night was a bit rude. We were just tired and trying to get to our room and to sleep. A no go for me.
- 2/5
The bathtub drainage didn't work, I was offered a plunger to fix it, the ironing board was placed on top the closet I'm 5'2" that in itself was an issue getting in down, it was broken an couldn't collapse back, the iron leaked all over my garments. For all my complaints I was given free breakfast. However, after I returned from my graduation the reason for my stay there was a roach in my room. I was moved to another room that smelled wet and air refresher was used to mask the smell. Does anyone check the rooms prior to occupancy to see if everything works?
- 2/5
Not a very good experience.
- 3/5
They cleaned the room left no towels did not straighten up the beds. No laundry bags left for dirty clothes. I will never stay in this hotel again
- 5/5
Been to Jonesboro previously staying at area hotels, I decided that in the future any stays in Jonesboro would be at this Holiday Inn.
- 2/5
No ice on the 4 th floor plus 413 has a terrible smell
- 4/5
Enjoyed the young lady working breakfast. Very personable and talkative.

Real nice and clean
- 4/5
it was okay.
- 5/5
The staff were friendly and welcoming.
- 5/5
It was a good place to stay for a stop overnight on our road trip.
- 1/5
It was horrible
- 4/5
Our spare bed was broken, night stands were bulging and crooked. Room air wouldn’t go below 68 on a 76 degree night. Picked this hotel specifically because it has a tub in the king suite rooms and then the tub drain wouldn’t hold water for an actual bath. Had seemingly never ending hot water. Overall decent stay however our room was nearly 200 dollars a night. Would say to stay somewhere cheaper and put the money to better use. Pool and outside area was nice. Very close to everything.

Good experience for short business trip.
- 4/5
the tv wasn’t working and when i picked up the phone to share this with the desk, there was no cord to the phone. do i used my cell to call them and was told that the whole property was without tv service. however they didn’t share this at check in. service was finally restored sometime during the night but maintenance never brought a phone cord and when i told the desk check the next morning she was very unconcerned. i had a knock in my door late in the night and would have liked to be able to quickly call and ask for security but….otherwise it was a good room, very comfortable bed.

- 5/5
Love it
- 5/5
Staff supper friendly, room’s clean
- 5/5
Very nice stay.
- 1/5
This was the worst Holiday Inn that I have ever stayed in. The blinds and toilet were broken and had to be rigged. They only had 1 maintenance worker for the property, poor guy!
- 3/5
Most everything was fine. Our biggest complaint was housekeeping banging on our door at 9:00 am both days! They even unlocked the door and tried to come in. I’ve literally never had that happen before! Totally unacceptable!
- 2/5
Check in was average, not out of their way . Room smelled funny … breakfast not included…
- 5/5
while the hotel was excellent, very attractive, staff was great, if you were standing outside and looking at the hotel entry, the exit from the parking lot, which would be to the right had some type of hole or something that shook our entire vehicle as we entered since we were coming in Toward evening evening and it was not expected to encounter that. And we are not talking a small bump. It really did jar our automobile. Other than that great place!
- 5/5
Nice property and location was excellent.
- 1/5
Never again
- 5/5
The rooms were clean and very comfortable. The entire staff of this hotel were extremely polite, engaging and ready to accommodate our needs or requests. We have not experienced this level of service and friendliness at a hotel in a long time. BRAVO!! we will choose Holiday Inn again.
- 5/5
Property was clean and staff was helpful and welcoming.
- 2/5
First room we were offered was not vacuumed, there were stains on the wall and furniture, mold on the tub, discoloration on towels with holes too. Staff was accommodating and gave us another room, but it was not much better. For $182 we expected much more. Holiday Inn properties generally have high standards. However, this location did not.
- 5/5
Basic Holiday inn, carpet on floor 3 had lots of stains in the hall.
- 3/5
I chose holiday inn express for their clean and new atmosphere. This particular hotel is not in the usual clean and well kept shape as most other locations I have been to. Still nice enough but beginning to lack in maintenance and upkeep. Rooms are beginning to show aging. If you want breakfast you have to purchase a ticket for breakfast that is prepared by someone so don’t expect the typical holiday inn breakfast experience. There was nothing special about the prepared breakfast that would make it more intriguing. Evening Staff was pleasant morning was nice but had to get their attention. Was not openly greeting customers.
- 5/5
The staff were amazing. Check in was one of the nicest and easiest ones I have had in a long time.
- 1/5
This was the worst Holiday Inn location I’ve been to. Had to pay for breakfast, went down at 6am when it started and no one even showed up for work. Not in the kitchen or at the front desk to check us out. No One was working! I waited for 15-20 mins. In the room- no towels, no shampoo conditioner or body wash, tub would not drain, toilet ran the entire stay. We will not be back
- 4/5
Perfectly adequate hotel. Staff were wonderful!
- 2/5
The customer service was great, the bed was comfortable and clean but the carpet thoughout the hotel is outdated and has a mildew smell to it and needs to be replaced.
- 3/5
[ ] Dog Hair. If a service animal is in the room, extra care should be taken to clean the room properly, for those guests that are expecting a pet free environment. We found dog hair on the window sill and all over one of the bed covers. My wife has alergies to animals that kept her from getting a good nights sleep. [ ] Trash. There was only one trash can in the room, making it inconvenient for guests in the bathroom. [ ] Toilet. The toilet would not flush unless the handle was held down. When guests pay a good price to spend the night, the expectation is that things will work properly. [ ] Another family in the hotel was told, when they checked in, that thier children under 17 would eat free at the restaurant. In the morning it was "10 and under". There was no compromise, or consession made to accommodate this family with four teenagers.....even for a one time "Sorry for the misunderstanding". [ ] These things don't speak well of the hospitality industry and will certainly deter repeat business. [ ]

Beds were clean and comfortable.
- 5/5
One of the nicest places I've stayed!
- 1/5
mattress had a huge hole where your butt sits very uncomfortable, had to stuff a pillow in it to keep back from hurting, slept terribly
- 5/5
A pleasant stay. They didn’t have free breakfast with stay unfortunately. Diner area opened up for guests for early morning.
- 4/5
The hotel room was overall comfortable and clean. The bed and pillows were decent. The walls are very thin and you can hear everything in other rooms and in the hallway. There was loud giggling for hours.
- 1/5
If you check your records you will find we stayed at this hotel two times within 10 days. The first time it took a very long time to check in but the room was decent. The second time, the desk clerk was on the phone when we arrived. She continued to speak on the phone for a good five minutes without even looking up to acknowledge us. When we were checked in, we went to our room and the heat/air was non-operational. Beds were made, but smelled like old lady perfume and armpit, so I suspect they were not changed. My husband went down, got key to second room, it was uncleaned, unmade. Tried to call her to bring another room key, but she was back on the phone. Had to go down again. Third and final room was clean. Bathtub drain did not seal. Toilet paper holder barely anchored. Too pissed to go get another key. Hotel was hardly occupied. No wonder. NO REMUNERATION FOR AWFUL EXPERIENCE WAS OFFERED.
- 4/5
One person at front desk, checked in seven people one by one and had to answer the phone. No one to help or call to help
- 4/5
Very Nice hotel property looked great. The Restaurant people were rude one day and messed up my order the next day. I told management they took care of it.
- 5/5
Love this hotel! Beds are super comfortable and rooms are always clean!
- 3/5
Toilet didnt flush, loud at night
- 4/5
The room had trash in floor and stains on bed comforter , for the price thought it would be a lot cleaner and nicer .
- 4/5
Everything was great except they added a $50 charge to my credit card for “incidentals”. I asked why and when it would be refunded to my card. I was told it would be returned in 3-7 days. It only took a matter of minutes for them to charge it to my card. Why would it take so long to reverse that charge?
- 5/5
Everything was nice and clean great spacious room
- 5/5
Neat and new
- 5/5
Clean
- 2/5
The room was dirty upon arrival and there wasn’t anyone to clean it so I vacuumed the carpet myself. We were schedule for 4 days and they never serviced the room. They didn’t bring any clean towels and by Friday I had to go in search of toilet paper. The two female staff were friendly but the male on Friday night was not helpful.
- 4/5
Don't like this question. Making me waste my time to write nothing
- 5/5
We just needed a spot overnight and we wanted one with a pool so we could swim a little bit. This hit the target! It was actually nicer than we were expecting it to be. Very nice experience. Clean comfortable safe quiet.
- 3/5
Very clean and comfortable. Could hear everything next door. Food not so good!
- 5/5
Loved it
- 2/5
What Holiday Inn has no complimentary breakfast? This one!
- 1/5
Refused to honor the Expedia confirmation. I was on the road when Holiday Inn Jonesboro called me to say they had no rooms for me and that I would have to call Expedia to have my credit card reimbursed. Good luck
- 2/5
Dusty and dirty all the floors including lift floor. Tras bag along the hallways like on exhibition along all the doors front.
- 4/5
The bathroom door handle was about to fall off of room 409. Otherwise everything was fine.
- 2/5
Didn’t like $160 without breakfast not even hot water for some tea
- 1/5
There was literally a party in the room next door and they were super drunk and loud we couldn’t even sleep
- 5/5
Very clean
- 1/5
We will not be returning especially with those prices
- 1/5
Got to the hotel around 10pm and they sent us to our room that was still dirty. So I had to wait another 15 minutes after my 4 hour drive. When we finally laid down for the night my wife had blood all over her pillow. I then stepped on something that stabbed into my foot because the room wasn’t vacuumed. It was a horrible experience and management offered me no compensation. I’m very upset with my stay and so is my wife especially.
- 5/5
VERY clean. Smelled amazing. Staff were super awesome and helpful! Beds were very comfortable with lots of pillows. Will definitely stay here next time we are in town.
- 4/5
The room was very clean but the lack of free morning breakfast was not good
- 5/5
The area was very quiet & clean.
- 4/5
The room was nice & very clean. The beds were very uncomfortable. I was disappointed that there was no breakfast service. I appreciated the fact there was coffee but it was disgusting & dumped out after 1 sip. Overall a nice hotel but lacking.
- 1/5
Worst holiday inn I’ve ever been. Dirt on hall and elevator floor and no one sweeps it ever. wallpaper peeling in room, coffee station a joke, no breakfast or even a bag breakfast. Will never stay again. The owner must be a cheap person. A few bucks more and you can stay at Courtyard. Spend the money.
- 5/5
The Holiday Inn is a great, friendly and clean place to stay. It is a good location and very nice. Will always go back to it when in Jonesboro.
- 4/5
I requested and paid for a king and received double wueen
- 5/5
We got there at 1 am and when checking in they actually didn’t have the room Expedia said we did so the gentleman gave us a discount and a king size room Instead of 2 double queen beds!!
- 5/5
The hotel was updated and clean. The friendly staff was helpful. Overall a great stay.
- 4/5
No coffee in lobby, no breakfast to go!
- 3/5
even though I paid online they still held a security deposit. the first room we were in the air conditioner was leaking all over the floor. the hotels restaurant was closed so no included breakfast.
- 1/5
The holiday inn in Jonesboro is a hot mess. We literally had to switch rooms twice because the doors were open for the room we were assigned, and there was trash and dirty linen inside. On the third try, we finally got a good room though. The housekeeper here needs to be fired. Shouldn’t have to be the third times the charm ordeal. Should have been discounted for the inconvenience..
- 2/5
Front desk workers were not friendly. She did not explain anything during check-in as far as amenities or check out she simply gave me my keys and that was that. No hello no thank you nothing.
- 5/5
The bed was AWESOME!!
- 5/5
it wa close to every store
- 2/5
No Housekeeping was available. No Instructions on how to get clean towels.
- 5/5
Quick check in and out
- 5/5
No
- 4/5
This hotel is only a couple years old. While it’s got nicer newer things, we have stayed here twice and didn’t sleep well here either time.
- 5/5
Sorry there was no onsite restaurant or bar available. Nice large rooms. No complaints.
- 4/5
The rooms was up to date for the most part. The bath tub drain didn’t work. The pool was also still closed along with the small restaurant inside.
- 5/5
Very clean and welcoming. Crisp lines and modern decor. Wished I could stay longer to enjoy it.
- 3/5
It took me 45 minutes to check-in. There was one worker, and she took a phone call while many people were in line.
