    Stay on front side of hotel. If your room is on back side, you will be literally sleeping on top of the interstate. Also, our air conditioner sounded like it an airplane was about to take off...all night! They do NOT want to give you a late checkout!!!

    I liked the lady I believe her name was Pansy. She was working the desk when I arrived and she was great and very sweet. There wasnt anything in particular but I am think there might be a bed bug infestation starting or i had issues with the detergent used making me itchy. But I definitely wound up with a bunch of bites on my legs and both mornings I woke up with red irritation on my legs feet and hands

    Good value for what you get, overall. Staff was friendly at check-in but we didn't see them often afterward, or at all when it came time to check out. Beds are reasonably comfortable, bathroom was very clean and the HVAC worked well. Our only real concern was the elevator, which struggled to hold level when it got to the top floor, and the doors briefly stuck shut once. Lots of kids in the hotel on our visit and they made quite a bit of noise in the hall, but it didn't really impede our sleep. Only 2 baggage carts, one full-size and one half-size, which wasn't a problem for us because the hotel was almost empty, but I could see it being a problem on a crowded weekend.

    Although our stay was great the front desk attendances were awful we asked for two extra blankets since there was two beds in the room and he would only give us one. The room was clean the amenities were awesome but the front help staff was absolutely clueless from the minute we checked in. We hadn't wait an hour to get our room and it was 7:30 at night.

    I didn’t eat breakfast When I got there, the toilet tissue appeared to have been wet and dried as the sheets were stuck together. The room had a moldy smell to it, the air conditioner was extremely dusty inside and behind the bed there were white spots on the carpet that looked like mold. The window seal was very nasty.

    I waited 30+ minutes to check in and there was only one per in front of me. The room was clean but had a weird smell and the water tasted gross out of the faucet. The "so-called" free breakfast was picked over by 8am and was told they were out of coffee. Not that they couldn't make more, they were OUT period. We were just disappointed.

    I was impressed with this property. It was reasonably priced so I didn’t have high expectations, but the property well exceeded my expectations. The rooms were clean and very comfortable. Perfect to stay with a pet, although there was no evidence of prior pets. The HVAC system took a little trial and error, but I was able to get the temperature comfortable.

    Lots of places to eat nearby. Good for a night’s stay. Very nice to travel to if you’re on business. Surprisingly offers complementary toothpaste, which was nice considering I forgot to pack mine while packing in a rush. Overall pleased. Would stay again.

    Have stayed here several times and like that the property is modern, clean, and friendly staff. Great breakfast area and breakfast food selection. On this particular stay our room was ground floor on the highway side of the building and close to the main lobby. This room location resulted in a noise from highway traffic, people talking in the lobby and excessive room light from building flood lights on the ground outside the room. Also, the cement pad and sidewalk outside the west door acess to the pet walking area was littered with cigarette butts. Will stay here again when traveling thru the area but will be sure to request a room on the non-highway side of the building and further from the lobby area.

    Hotel and staff are nice. The issue was with a very "moldy" smell in our room. I complained to the front desk as I have asthma and the mold/mildew smell will make it difficult for me to breath in that room and could they offer us another room instead. This was a Saturday night and only one other room was available and it smelled the same. I suspect that they don't clean their AC units often enough as the smell was emminating from the AC units. What made things worse was that the windows don't open, they're screwed shut so no way to air out the rooms. This was on a Saturday night and after a 12 hours day of driving I did not wish to start looking for another hotel and tried talking to Expedia, well it's impossible to get a person to deal with. So we toughed it out and my lungs sufferred for it, but we made it through. I'm giving up on "La Quinta" and "Expedia" for the foreseeable future as this is not an experience that I wish to repeat.

    The staff were very nice and the property was immaculate. The bed was TOP TIER comfortable. If I had one piece of advice it would be to have maybe a little thicker top blanket. Especially with coming into the winter months. Sometimes you don’t want to turn the heat up you just want to be cozy in the bed.

    terrible, dirty rooms, put into 2 rooms that were not ready, laundry facilities out of order…..I needed wifi for business and had to go down the road to mcdonald’s to use High speed wifi for 4 nights.     The room was great, large but the bed was horrible felt like a slab. And they had air freshener coming through the vents that had our allergies giving us fits. The breakfast had biscuits and gravy but they had added so much water to it, it was soup. The gym was really equipped well, but the light would shut off after 5 minutes. Very annoying. It had the potential of being a good hotel. But we won't stay there again.

    Gotchas: Checkin was fairly slow. I think some people were not happy when they were told about thr $150 deposit . The elevator is too small, making it very difficult to roll in large luggage cart. The only remedy I can see is to use smaller carts. My wife detected a odor in the room like sweat or musty. The mini-frtdge was not cold. My wife set its control higher, but it took a long time to cool. No option for bath. There was low flow coming from the shower head. No grab bars on shower. The wi-fi was poor -- trouble downloading a file onto our tablet. The stopper on the basin does not rise enough; this can be easily adjusted by a maintenance person. I was very pleased that a Bible was present.

    It took forever to get checked in although I had completed a reservation online. The lead person came out and said she couldn’t help but decided to and took absolutely forever to complete the check in. Once we got to our room we were greeted with a terrible urine smell that they tried to cover up with bleach. The pillows were flat as pancakes and the beds were broke down. Breakfast was decent and the bathroom appeared to be clean.

    I live in the city so when i got there i was not allowed to even check in. I booked this for my daughter's 16th b-day celebration and it was almost ruined because we were turned away when we got there. The lady at the front desk was nice and made sure everything was canceled but i wish i had known abt that rule before i booked it and wasted my time going there. Had to do a last minute scramble to find other accommodations and then call parents with a change of venue. Also, the check in was at 3 but their website says 4 so we wasted an additional hour for nothing. That needs to be changed on the website and it needs to be made clearer when trying to book this place that you can't live within 50 miles of it. Would have saved me time and money cause i had to spend an extra $50 to find a last minute replacement. 10 out 10 would NOT RECOMMEND....

    The room smelled when i walked into it. I addressed with the desk attendant. He sprayed the room. No soap to wash my hands and the shower was dirty. The breakfast was good. I found a roach in the sink of hotel bathroom. I will not be staying there again. Improvements need to be made in cleanliness of rooms. The staff was very helpful and friendly.

    There was no soap at all in our bathroom, other than some pot wash in the shower. All three of our towels were stained with what looked like something disgusting. And whereas most hotels may put a $50 hold on your credit card, for incidentals, this location put $150 hold, and said it might be several days before it’s credited back to me. We will not ever stay at La Quinta again.

    When we arrived, it took 30 minutes to check in and only one person was in front of us. When we arrived in our room, we walked i to standing water. The room was on the second floor. The hallway smelled moldy. When we got off the elevator, water was dripping on us. We were given another room on the 3rd floor. It had a very strong musty smell like the room had been flooded also. We decide to leave and the gave us a refund. By the way, it was aclear day outside!!

    We were in town to see family. It seemed that there was a lot of things broken or out of stock. Juice dispenser broken, no hand soap in rooms. Ice machine on 4th floor broken and no top sheets on the beds. The elevator needed to be wiped down and mopped

    I really enjoyed the hotel, the room, the breakfast (although a number of breakfast preparatory items were broken/out of order). The hotel was clean and modern. The room was very comfortable and the TV worked properly. The bathroom was excellent.There was quite a bit of noise from the adjacent street (traffic). When I arrived, the gentleman at reception seemed a little unhappy (possibly just having a 'bad day' as we all do sometimes).

    Long check in line. First staff refused to commit us to same room for 2 nights, made the excuse she was working on the room assignments at 2 and said we had to come back at 4. Manager was able to get us in same room although hardly anyone was there the 3rd night. Found check in procedure bogus.

    This is our second stay at this La Quinta and we have been very happy with the room quality, the cleanliness, the convenience to main roads in Jonesboro therefore easy access to ASU and shopping. The breakfast is great - eggs, sausage, potatoes, biscuits, and waffles. The exercise room has great weight and cardio options.

    We checked in and was given room 207, once we were in the room it smelled very bad and had a musty feel to it. The bedding had obvious stains. Went to the front desk to be moved to another room, we were given room 211. When we got into that room it was hot and muggy, found out the air conditioning didn't work. Went to the front desk once again to be moved the third time and was given room 222. Found two bugs which we couldn't identify and there were marks on the wall that couldn't be cleaned. Attempted to use the iron in the room but it didn't work. Had to go to the front desk to request another iron, the replacement iron didn't work either. Had to go across the street to use the laundromat to dewrinkle clothing. Once i checked out I informed the front desk of all the issues and requested a refund but was denied, being that Expedia is a third party company. I wouldn't recommend this Laquinta at all. Multiple times in the elevator we came across individuals that seemed to be living in the hotel that were obviously strung out and high on some kind of substance and also smelled of alcohol.

    The check in was quick and the man at check in was friendly. Didn’t like the room very much though. The carpet and the beddings were damp and the room had a weird musty smell. The main public area of the hotel looks great and clean.

    Staff was very good. Property is a little dated. Big light right out side the room (with non-occluding blind) and a hint of wee in the room were not high spots. Hot coffee in lobby and room had a coffee maker, micro and mini-fridge. Overall a descent stay.

    Our stays here are generally great! This time the check-in process took way too long - not sure the holdup but I was the only guest checking in so it shouldn’t have been that long. The shower was missing the shampoo and the body wash was completely empty.

    Horrible check in experience, it was 1 am when I got there and it took over 20 min to check in. The night clerk was odd and unhelpful. Then, when I got to my room, I laid down for about 20 min and then I found FLEAS on my arm, pillow and sheets.

    Check in was very slow. Room was clean and bed was comfortable but I had a hard time sleeping as the road noise from the interstate kept waking me up all night. Then at 5 am the noise from people in the hall and doors closing woke me up and I couldn’t get back to sleep. Also, eggs, gravy and potatoes had a ton of pepper in them making them way too spicy to eat. Won’t be staying at this location again.

    The suite was great until we needed the shower. The shower was clogged and the phone didn't work to call front desk. Had to move to another room. Was put in another room but not a suite in which i paid for. Hotel told me to take it up with my 3rd party because it wasn't their problem. We argued and said it was thier problem. Talked to manager on duty not satisfied with outcome. Wont recommend that Hotel.

    We were too worried to stay in Memphis area due to crime stats, and our unfamiliarity with locations. As my husband had a lot of possessions being stored overnight…and our doggie…this was a nice choice. And breakfast, too!

    First to stay here and it was really nice. Everything was clean. The bed was very comfortable. The room was a good size. I really liked the step in shower. It appears it may have been upgraded recently. I was impressed with my overall stay.
