The young girl working the desk was amazing. Location is unbeatable. This are aged and there’s upkeep needed but Elvis has been gone a long time now and everything else continues to age too. Needs new mattresses, they are long overdue for replacement.

Location The black mold in the shower and tub, bugs, stained carpets, loud air conditioner, very unclean, inconsistent pricing online versus calling and pet price online is more at check in. I work for a GC, I should have called city inspector and poison control, but I had to get to Virginia the next day.

This was the worst stay I have ever experienced. It was so dirty we did not stay! Curtain rods were hanging off the wall, broken and cracked bathroom tiles. Shower curtain rod was pulled off of the wall. I would remove this from your listings! Checked out and told them we weren’t staying because it was too dirty, and all they said was ok.

We happened to be staying in Knoxville during the Tennessee vs Oklahoma college football game, so all the regular hotels were $300 a night. We found this hotel for $100 and decided to stay here as we just needed one night and were continuing through in the morning. I will say that the staff is very friendly and professional and they are trying their best to keep this hotel afloat, but it is not working. The hotel has holes in the room walls, it is dirty. The walls are stained and the rooms just need a complete refresh. The faucet in the bathroom sink was completely loose and the room just feels dirty. The toilet seat was also loose and the shower knobs were difficult to manipulate to get the water to a decent temperature. On a good note, the hot water was great and lasted forever. I appreciate the staff doing everything possible to keep this place running, but like I said, the hotel needs major work and restoration.

The blanket on the bed had a bunch of stains on it, but the sheets felt clean enough. One of the towels has a big yellow stain on it too. And the toilet didn’t flush properly. This was a multiple day reservation and I started looking for another place immediately. After some back and forth, I was refunded for all but the 2 days I actually stayed there, so that is a positive in a very negative experience.

Dirty looking property. Not well kept at all. Sidewalks are stained, trash overflowing from the outside trash cans. Lobby area outdated and poor condition. Recent renovations appear to be completed by a group of blind mice. Awful that they would either pay or accept that type of work to be done. I hate to see older properties be demolished specially if ownership takes pride in their investment and build from that but sadly this motel ownership does not. Entire motel needs to be taken down and rebuilt. 1st room door wouldn’t open. 2nd room had no electricity at all. 3rd room there were roaches and half cleaned room. Hard to believe Wyndham passes this motel for any inspection but even more concern that the city of Knoxville let alone west Knoxville has such low standards for accommodations. Either invest and repair the mess made here or bulldoze it over. If you don’t believe me just go stay a night or look around. Owners need to proud of their achievements and hard work. I’d be embarrassed to say I owned this property.

I went to the room and immediately went to use the bathroom where i found a toilet empty of water and otherwise full, and clearly broken for some time. I got a new room. That room had a shower curtain rod that woukdnt hold the water in the tub and sprayed around it, towel racks falling down, floors clearly missing boards, non-working tv, missing locks... But the bed was super comfortable. 🙃

First, they illegally charge 10$ for service animals. When confronting the desk about this and showing them the law they just pointed to their policywhoch i will post in the images. 2nd the room was falling apart. The shower curtain wouldnt close because the bar was detached and hanging down. The towel racks were coming off the wall. If I were the Wyndham I would be embarrassed they use the name. Shameful.

The parking lot was full of whatever work crew they had staying, so as a single woman traveling alone it was somewhat daunting but it was late. As I approached my room the was a man sitting outside of it speaking very loudly into his phone on speaker and I informed that would not work for me and to wrap it up, and he did.

We quickly checked out and I went to the front desk to get our money back and they told me the manager is not in. I was given a card and told I would get a call. Four days later I still haven’t gotten a call and I have called every day. Every day they tell me to call the next day and will not give me their manager’s phone number. We also asked if we could have a late check out. From 11: a.m. to 1:p.m. We were told $10 extra would be sufficient. Wanda made a special trip to our room telling us to not let them charge me more than $10 extra at checkout. Upon checking out I was charged $20 and was told $10 for late checkout, and $10 for making them stay over to clean the room. The lobby was filthy when I checked in leaving a bad taste in my mouth and worried about the condition of my room. Thank the lord the room was nice. When I checked in, the clerk at the front desk took my credit card for the room deposit and wrote down the number on a piece of paper. This seemed very unorthodox to me, so I immediately called my credit card company and asked them to send me a new card number. The room itself was adequate, but there were a few issues with the bathroom. The towel holder was coming off the wall, and the shower curtain was not attached to the wall securely, which made it difficult to keep the curtain closed while showering. Would not recommend.

Next i booked a room with king size bed non smoking about 2 months ago. He then said he didn't have a room like that, we would have to take a room with 2 double beds non smoking. I know i paid more for the room i booked, but was too tired to argue with him.

Hotel was what I call a blue collar hotel. Great place for workers, i.e. clean surfaces, but repairs have been done out of function, not asthetically pleasing. Doors are lockable, security was not a problem anywhere at the hotel, ice machine worked well(important to us workers), close to my work project and eating places, I did not witness any vagrants or transients. Clean towels were included, soaps, Kleenex, desk furniture seemed clean and in good structure. Overall, I would definitely recommend to workers, but I would not bring my wife and kids here. Prices are great, and suited for workers and male solo travelers.

Had my little diabetic service Dog with me and was told that he was not a service animal, why i dont know we found cockroaches in the room. Will never stay there again, i was repeatedly called a liar over my service Dog.

Got into my room and settled down for the evening and some bozo with a race car would crank it up and let it idle for 10 minutes before leaving only to return in a few minutes. Did this a dozen times over a two day period…once this was accompanied by a woman screaming at the top of her lungs until he departed. Next morning of my stay renovation work began in earnest outside room…very loud scraping nonstop until after lunch. Mid afternoon work resumed outside my door with workers wiping down my HVAC unit with acetone (prep for paint?). I shooed them away and aired out my room. Housekeeping failed to service my room so I turned down the covers on the other bed to find a syringe under the covers. It appeared to be an unused one but needless to say I slept in the other bed. Later that night I was awoken to someone attempting to open my door. They claimed this was their room and they had just checked in. Truly a fleabag if there ever was. I recommend the OYO a block away if you must stay in this area. I don’t normally stay in this area and shall not ever again.

The picture that was shown on the Expedia site was not what we experienced. There was a lot of noise from outside the room and lots of people loitering outside smoking/drinking. Our last night there we seen roaches in the kitchen and in the bathroom. We checked out early due to the roaches. There was no one at the front desk to report it to. I wouldn’t recommend staying there. If I could give it zero stars I would. Everything in the room is outdated and old.

The room was very clean and the beds seem to have been updated and were very comfortable. The price was amazing and very convenient. The front desk and lobby area could definitely use an update a little dirty and rundown looking. Zero options for anything to eat or drink, snacks, water, etc. so make sure you bring your own. The refrigerator in the room looked new and worked great. Would stay again

Property was dated, but it did appear updates might be in progress. Both rooms had a funny smell, and while nothing was obviously dirty the white comforters were pretty stained. AC didn't work on any setting other than fan in one room. Staff were friendly, efficient, and helpful.

It's difficult to summarize concisely everything that went wrong. I will have to email someone a full explanation of what happened. Suffice it to say, the hotel was unsafe, dirty, unhygienic, and in disrepair.
