We were in town for a concert, with some friends. The rooms were very nice, with great bathrooms! Everyone was extremely friendly, and over all the stay was wonderful! My only concern was that I feel certain rooms should be specifically for pets. There was dog hair under one of the beds, not a big deal, but someone else could have had an issue with allergies. Great location, about 10 minutes from campus!
- 5/5
Breakfast was amazing. Shower was so small that a child would have a hard time fitting in it.
- 5/5
The room was very clean and the staff easily answered my questions and had recommendations for restaurants available. I will stay there again
- 4/5

We smelt urine (dog?) in our room.

My bathroom was FULL of knats i couldn't even bathe use the restroomor brush my teeth without killing 20 knats AWFUL...something should be done...there is an amazing decorative lamp on the wall that I could NOT use because there was no outlet close enough to plug it into..outside of that stay was okay. Breakfast was yummy staff was professional and nice...I WOULD stay again
- 5/5
I was apprehensive when I first arrived, but they exceeded my expectations . The property was very well maintained. The lobby was very clean. Staff was very knowledgeable and kind and impressionable. The room was very clean and overall everything went very smoothly even when I had an issue with late check-in they were absolutely sincere and worked it out in my best interest so for that I’m grateful thank you so much.
- 5/5
Great breakfast. Easy check in & out. Friendly staff and clean room.
- 5/5
Breakfast was excellent, I stay here frequently and it always is. Only complaint was I could not get microwave in room to work. I could have called desk but did not bother since I was tired. Otherwise no complaint about anything else
- 5/5
Everything was nice, I enjoyed my stay
- 5/5
Room was clean, staff friendly and good breakfast.

quiet area, easy on and off interstate
- 5/5
Above average for the price. Would stay again
- 1/5
Advertised with a pool. “Only seasonal”. Internet doesn’t work. Seems to be a re occurring problem. Cannot get work done
- 3/5
The room was clean but the mattress was very worn where you lay on one side and roll to the center, very soft. We dont need CC but could not get it off the tv, after numerous tries. The worst thing though was at 9:30pm a man was polishing the floors with a very loud machine and at 10:15 pm I called the front desk and said he has to stop. Considering how loud the machine is the time to polish the floors is 11am- 3pm, when no one is trying to sleep.
- 5/5
Breakfast great = only 1 waffle maker available. Clean Room and Staff was amazing. Will stay here again.
- 3/5
A little strange being 2 Hotels in one (Laquinta and Hawthorn Extended Stay) didn’t cause any issues, just a little strange. Not a lot right around the Hotel, but plenty a couple miles away. This hotel sits in same parking lot as a Red Roof Inn (which looked pretty run down)
- 4/5
No problem with the staff or room. Used the gym, decent.

Pool looked like very dated and never used. Carpets could use a good cleaning
- 4/5
Clean room, good location, WiFi is terrible.
- 4/5
Breakfast was fresh and had a great variety.
- 4/5
The hotel was very clean and nicely designed. The bed was comfortable. No complaints except the phone was dead when I tried to call desk. I informed the front desk and he said to tell housekeeping. Isn’t that your job? The phone never got fixed . I asked for more coffee such we got but no extra cream. Otherwise all was good.
- 2/5
This is a tired budget hotel that is not at all cheap. Very noisy with traffic since it’s right off the highway.
- 4/5
Great location for a stay that requires you to be close to the university of Tennessee. Clean, super convenient to school, malls, etc.

- 4/5
Room was clean staff was courteous and the breakfast was delicious. Will stay again if needed. Thanks for Laquanta Inn.
- 3/5
The hotel and rooms were clean and updated, the staff were very friendly. The two issues that caused me to rate it a 3/5 is first, the beds are extremely hard and uncomfortable to sleep in. Might as well sleep right on the floor. Second, their “smart TVs” do not allow you to use the apps to steam any of your own services (Netflix, Hulu, Disney, etc.) so you’re stuck with crappy Direct TV. This may not be an issue for some people who are only using a room to sleep and leave immediately but we stayed for 2 nights during a possible winter storm to be closer to the hospital and therefore, stuck inside the entire time with nothing to watch on tv. Couldn’t even hook up our own Roku to stream because their tv remotes don’t allow you to get to the settings to change the input source.

Amazingly quiet, big rooms, clean. Definitely will be back. Love the sausage gravy and biscuits for breakfast!

- 5/5
Fun trip and great location to what we needed
- 5/5
pretty standard and clean place, quiet location
- 5/5
Friendly staff, clean, convenient to UTK.
- 4/5
The breakfast was pretty regular with no change from day to day. We did see some homeless people come in and take from the breakfast out to their car in the parking lot. There were also people in the parking lot using the wifi that were not guests. They would be sitting in their car for hours with the engine running. The area around the hotel was quiet but the Red Roof Inn next door had some interesting people out front. The housekeeping was good the one time I called down to have them come and refill the towels etc. The staff were pleasant and informative on the area. The parking lot is small on the one side but big on the back end but not very well lit after coming back at midnight. I would stay here as it is economical for what we needed it for.

The agent checking us in was very nice.
- 4/5
The room was clean and quiet. Breakfast was okay. Every employee we interacted with was friendly and very helpful. We would definitely stay here again.
- 1/5
Run down, lack of reasonable parking, not ADA friendly. Also can't forget the extent of loud construction going on that could wake the dead. Nope never again. Stay away.
- 5/5
We were in town for UT parents weekend. This was a nice location, only a short drive to campus. The breakfast was great and the staff was super friendly. They had orange and white cupcakes out for guests on the day of the game which was a really sweet touch! Very much makes you feel like you are in a college town. They quickly found and delivered a rollaway bed when our UT student decided to join us in the hotel at the last minute. The only thing I would change is to have housekeeping come and refresh towels each day. I'm sure this is something we could have requested, but a housekeeping visit or two during a three night stay would be welcomed.
- 1/5
Will not stay again
- 5/5
Clean, comfortable, and modern.
- 4/5
The hot breakfast buffet was delightful with real sausage and eggs, biscuits, fruit, and unlimited coffee. The staff was very nice, helpful, and polite. How often are the beds and towels changed? The next day, I learned the hard way by returning to our room to find it untouched by housekeeping with the same dirty damp towels on the bathroom floor and the beds unmade, etc. It had been a very long day, and all I wanted was to get into a nice clean bed and go to sleep. Instead, I went back downstairs to request towels. The desk clerk explained to me that the default was not to provide any fresh linen or housekeeping unless it was specifically requested. I had never heard of such a thing and said so, but he explained the rationale, which I understood to be that guests did not want housekeeping to come in when they were in the room. Isn't the standard way of preventing that in most hotels to simply give customers a do not disturb sign to hang on the doorknob? Then, it dawned on me later that when I had arrived the night before the receptionist asked me if I wanted room service, which of course, means to order food to be brought to one's room. I said, "No." Receptionist #2 said the term meant any service given at all, like providing fresh towels. I suggested to the 2nd receptionist that they use the common definition. He thanked me, saying it was a good idea. I think it's a cost-saving tactic that may backfire when customers don't return. Otherwise, everything was great!
- 5/5
Great stay!

This hotel was in a great location. Its a short drive to the stadium. Very clean and the staff was excellent. They even had orange & white cupcakes for game day to give to their guest.

The shower was great. The bed was decent and comfortable large enough for my husband and I and our three year-old toddler to have more than enough space to sleep. The room was quite large and wonderful for our son to run around and play.

Clean, convenient and safe.
- 4/5
Nice stay. Clean hotel with a no e pool, nice rooms, and felt safe. Will stay again.
- 3/5
We were given a room on the first floor that was the handicap room, so it didn’t have a couch or a bathtub and the layout was weird. Our tv was broken, but they did send a maintenance guy to fix right away. It was very noisy and you could hear them cooking breakfast every morning, and guests coming down to eat.
- 5/5
Room was very clean and AC worked great. Bed was comfy. Area around hotel left a little to be desired

Location was ideal. Just off from the interstate highway on the edge of town. Local restaurants were outstanding with a variety of food options. Clean and comfortable hotel. Staff were eager to assist when asked. We are coming back next year.
- 5/5
Great location and felt safe
- 4/5
We only slept and showered in the room. I enjoyed the hot shower and felt our room was spacious and clean. I saw bad reviews and was a bit concerned but I have no complaints. The gym was nice, wish I had an opportunity to use it. Didn't have any interaction with the staff other than on check in. We grabbed a quick snack at breakfast our first morning and it was as expected. I would consider staying here again if I was ever back in the area.
- 5/5
This was our third stay at La Quinta in Knoxville. Its affordable, clean and I love that they welcome pets. Great breakfast!

- 5/5
Very friendly and helpful staff. Clean and comfortable rooms. We would stay here again.
- 4/5
Good room for the price
- 4/5
This was a fine place to sleep for a night. The parking is somewhat inconvenient. There is also not much around and it is right next to the highway.
- 5/5
The room was comfy, the hotel lost power in the middle of the night but it wasn't a deal breaker. Everything was nice, breakfast had some nice selections.
- 4/5
About 4 Miles from Knoxville but close to I75. Convenient location for an overnight stay.

- 5/5
I think the best part of my stay was the breakfast buffet. It was above average and included hot foods like eggs, sausage, biscuits and gravy. The hotel was clean, rooms were quiet.

With a king bed, the bathroom should have a stand up shower. We did like the large containers of soap and shampoo

The LaQuinta was in a location easily accessible to the interstate. The breakfast was great! The fitness room was a good size. Although there was no conditioner in the bottle all the other toiletries were good and smelled nice.

An excellent place to stay.

The only problem needing correction is some training for your staff on service animal laws. Many can never be seperated from the animal due to certain disabilities. The desk clerk told me I could not take my service animal into the breakfast area due to other's allergies. That is understandable. But if you are going to restrict where that person can go, as it relates to their NECESSARY service animal, then you need to offer an accommodation to that person to access the restricted area. What you might do is offer assistance, a staff member, fixing a breakfast plate for the guest if they have need. Cutting services to someone with a service animal could get you sued and fined by the guest and/or the civil rights department per ADA laws. I do believe the desk clerk was just doing as they were trained to do. There was no malicious intent, but someone in higher management should know better. I've stayed at serval La Quinta locations, and this has never happened.
- 1/5
Gross, loud, unwelcoming, unpleasant. Would stay away
- 5/5
Friendly front desk and breakfast staff. Overall very nice stay.
- 2/5
If you are a lite sleeper, this facility is not for you!!! All doors going into rooms have a 1” gap at the bottom. If you are in your room, you can hear everyone talking in the hall. If you anre walking in the hall, you can hear conversations from rooms. It was extremely loud all night. There was also a red (I am assuming blood) stain on the mattress and the room was average for cleanliness. Will not stay here again
- 5/5
Always clean and staff very friendly and helpful.
- 4/5
I love staying here, we checked in we had very sweet gentlemen who help me to get the best room for me and convenient locate for my dog, the broom was beautiful and clean and comfy. My brother and I very much enjoyed our stay until the next morning. We went about nine to go eat breakfast and there wasn’t much left. They were out of waffles. They were out of sausage. They barely had any gravy. It was all kind of burned in the bottom of the crockpot. They had one last yogurt that somebody were fighting over. If you like cereal and toast, there was some of that left. The poor lady in the cafeteria was so Embarrassed and trying to help out as best as she could. After such a lovely stay left kind of a sad feeling. I will stay at La Quinta again. I just hope I don’t have the same experience at breakfast.
- 5/5
I am enjoying my stay so far! Great price & location! Easy check-in & very comfortable
- 2/5
This has always been my favorite hotel and resting point being active duty the staff is always friendly to me and my service animal. The breakfast needs a little work the set up is nice ce but the food is runny or cold . The medium rolled towels there was long hair on the towels not mine . But I do think the staff this past weekend during the bad storms they were prepared and thought of our safety . I was able to take shelter if needed .
- 3/5
Once inside your room, all was fine for the price and expectation. Front desk staff was slow and sometimes non-existent.
- 5/5
Staff was friendly and the rooms were clean. Many dining options are close by.
- 5/5
The room was very clean and had all the amenities i could've needed!
- 4/5

Arrived pretty late but curtious staff was on site and got me checked in fast. Room was very clean and well stocked. Was able to get checked out fast after a good hot breakfast. Water pressure in the shower was excellent. Will 100% stay here again when in the area.
