The place was going thru renovations. But it was quiet and staff was friendly
- 1/5
Location in proximity to the event I attended The batteries on my door lock died at 4am which meant if I left my room I had to wedge the door open. Not safe at all. The entire place smelled like weed and aerosol spray. It was kinda gross.
- 5/5
The staff here was beyond friendly made it feel a little like visiting family. Recently renovated so it’s modern and incredibly comfortable.
- 0.5/5
Clean nicely remodeled. The check in gentleman was very nice and helpful. I was not a fan of house keeping knocking on the door at 9:30am when checkout was at 11am. I asked them at tbe front desk when leaving what time checkout was he said 11am. I asked why the hell housekeeping was knocking on my door at 9:30am? He acted as if I were lying. I will never stay here again.
- 2.5/5
It was not far from I 75 and that they take dogs When we stayed before there was no cost for our 2 little dogs but this time we had to pay for one of them . No breakfast at your hotel No soaps in the shower thank goodness I brought my own

The bed was not comfortable but otherwise it was good A better bed

Awesome hotel nice and clean staff nice guy
- 4/5
They are under renovations. They are doing a lot of work to make the place better considering this must be an old building. I spoke with one of the workers about it & he told me that it's not so much changing owners, but they are changing franchise. They will become a Marriot around end of summer or beginning of Fall. The room me and my friend stayed at looked presentably clean and comfortable. We didn't see any bed bugs or cockroaches during our stay, everything looked up to date and redone. We had a pleasant experience during our stay there even though we weren't expecting a whole lot, but I am happy we didn't receive a bad experience during our stay. I believe they are trying to make this place a lot better and whether you choose to give them a chance, it's up to you.

Nothing Didn’t let me check in because I was under 21, but did not have this listed on booking.com
- 3.5/5
It’s definitely under renovation, but we stayed in the renovated section and it was beautiful! The lobby still needs assistance and the 1st floor has not been touched yet… it will soon be a Marriott to my understanding! Staff were absolutely amazing!!! We loved our stay, only issue we had is that our ice machine didn’t work on our floor and we had to go to 1st floor for ice, hopefully they correct that soon! Lobby needs work…

Check out clerk. And waking up to some excessively tool noise Tried to get on elevator twice to leave and both time with construction workers with hoppers on the elevator Very slow elevator Had to use stairs Gonna try Laquita next door on 6/13
- 1/5
Apparently the entire place was under construction with hammering and drilling in the room above my room at 7-8am. Called to make complaint to lobby, no phone in the room. Staff was not helpful with the construction issue, said there was nothing they could do. Wouldn’t allow me to do a late checkout. Constant knocking on my hotel door between 9-11am to see if I was checked out yet. Checkout is at 11, in my opinion they should have left me alone after the first knock at 9am until checkout time frame at 11am but no… 3 different people total came knocking at my door between 9-11am plus the construction noise that started between 7am-8am. Bed was so uncomfortable and hard. Terrible place to try and get proper rest.

Staff were friendly. But room was not clean. Sheets were not clean. Ask for another room, and it was not that clean either. Property was not in great condition. Did seem like the safest place either.
- 3/5
Easy access. Friendly staff. Prompt attention to an issue with shower Dirty outside. Shower head was clogged. No breakfast offered. Bed sheets kept coming off the mattress.

A dump. Smelly, rough, in need of serious renovations. The last time we stay at a Red roof.
- 2/5
The facility was pictured as bright and attractive. It was dingy, terribly run down and dirty. There were some attempts at refurbishment, but the pace must be glacial as a newer appearing shower already had a large crack in one wall. The bright spot was that the staff I encountered were pleasant and helpful. The air conditioner/heater performed well. I cannot recommend this location.
- 1.5/5
Shower had no pressure and the room stunk. The towels were stained.
- 4/5
Always a great bargain. Really good for a low cost motel option!
- 4/5
The only problem I had was if I didn't put the bolt on the door wouldn't stay shut or locked when in the room and I had to pull it closed when leaving problem to make sure it shut..They also said free breakfast on the page I booked from but they just had coffee. Also it was a little confusing that another hotele is almsot connected to the property. I always felt like I was entering the wrong hotel.
- 4/5
The rooms were okay as far as clean. Not bad, for the price. The staff was friendly, parking was great, was good air conditioning in the rooms. I would stay again, for the price.
- 3/5
Desk staff was friendly and attentive. The hotel is currently undergoing renovations and hopefully the room I stayed in is still on the list for updates. Everything was clean and neat but the room finishes (baseboards, paint covered outlets, worn curtains, etc) made the room look a little sloppy. Pets are allowed in the rooms but I could hear a dog from the next room whining and barking until late in the night, it broke my heart. All of the room and hotel amenities were well kept and in working order.
- 5/5
Great location. Good value.
- 5/5
When I placed my laptop on the night stand near the window and used the ottoman for my mouse, I noticed a used plastic drink glass laying on the floor next to the bed support. We did not disturb it and just ignored it. I forgot to tell the front desk that it was there. May be the next room cleaners will find it. We did not use the bed that it was next to so we were not bothered by its presence only being there for one night. Otherwise the room was very clean. I just did not want the ones cleaning the room to think that we left it there.
- 2/5
Front desk staff was friendly & helpful, property didn’t look like the pictures. Daughter felt uncomfortable staying there so we found another room
- 3/5
People at front desk were curteous.
- 3/5
Front desk staff was the friendliest guy I've encountered at a hotel desk, excellent service.
- 1/5
Roaches all over our room. The smell of the hallways/room was horrible. We didn’t even stay here, ended up getting a room at another hotel
- 4/5
For the price it works fine for my needs
- 4/5
Great place , clean, and respectful staff!
- 4/5
The hotel was clean and good for one night. They are in the middle of renovation so it was a little lacking. Once the renovation is completed I am sure the hotel will be even better
- 5/5
Great value. Overall a nice place to stay. It was clean and close to things we wanted to visit. We came in town for a UT basketball game.
- 4/5
They need a yard man because other guest don't know how to use the ash trays provided.
- 4/5
Toilet kept making a noise every few minutes, like it was filling up with water. Told the front desk and they said they'd fix it, it never happened. It didn't affect my sleep though. Also, the lotion dispenser next to the sink had hand soap, and the hand soap dispenser had lotion.
- 3/5
dirty bed sheets , dust , bathroom ventilation dirt
- 4/5
Staff was great. Check in was super easy. They were renovating and we ended up on the wrong elevator but it was okay. Super clean, smelled nice, air conditioner was great!

- 4/5
Good stay
- 2/5
property is very run down and under renovation, everything is old and needs updated i was unaware of a deposit and had to wait 7-14 days for the refund or give cash this is hotel.com fault for not telling customers. i will say the room was clean and bug free
- 5/5
all of the above . didn't really use any amenities
- 2/5
Everything was good except for one of the front desk staff. He was rude and was on a power trip. Also I didn’t know housekeeping does mandatory cleanings even if I worked night shift and needed to sleep during the day when I got off work. The rude front desk guy insisted that I didn’t have a cash deposit, and after numerous times of telling him I did and to double check, he finally did and ofcourse I had a cash deposit. He didn’t even apologize for the inconvenience.
- 1/5
Wasn’t able to make the stay and wouldn’t give a refund, also no one at front desk at 8pm
- 2/5
The bed was lumpy and very uncomfortable. The shower doors seemed like they would come off the rails if you used them. And contrary to what is noted on their website, there was no breakfast available, very disappointing!!
- 4/5
Comfortable but could use some TLC. Paint peeling, toilet run on and front staff in morning didn't seem to care that there was coffee all over the entrance floor
- 4/5
Staff was great. Room could have been cleaner.
- 4/5
Easy check in and out; staff were extremely helpful, room very comfortable
- 5/5
Large are for parking on every side of the building. Beautiful view from the front end of office if the mountains..
- 1/5
Not able to go that date and couldn't cancel. Tried to cancel week after booked and it said no refund. Same with our hotel we booked next night in Pennsylvania. We will not be using hotel.com again
- 5/5
Roads clear parking huge hotel awesomeness
- 4/5
Nice staff. Decent room. Felt safe.
- 1/5
There were live roaches in our room. We had to leave.
- 5/5
Easy parking
- 2/5
Absolutely no parking. Guy give me someone else room number so we are trying to get into someone else’s room at 1:30 Am. Had to come back to get another room
- 2/5
Bugs on the floor moving in the first room, loud refrigerator, not enough towels. Second room was clean but television didn't work. Everyone is itching today. Possible bedbugs!
- 4/5
No issues encountered; room was clean, comfortable and quiet. Check in and out was quick and professional.
- 5/5
Helpful friendly staff at front desk. Room very clean and comfortable
- 1/5
Dirties bug infested outdated hotel I have ever been to.
- 1/5
This hotel needs a total remodel. It was nasty. Walls half painted, same color, half gloss half matte. Bathroom floors chipped and dirty. Refrigerator needed defrosted. My grandchildren thought it was snow and started eating it.
- 3/5
Great location while visiting University of Tennessee and exploring the Smoky Mountains. Room and building are extremely run down...that said, water was hot and sheets were clean so it worked in a pinch. Staff very nice and helpful.
- 1/5
Lilited parking, furniture falling apart, rooms filthy
- 5/5
Was a clean room and very convenient. For a quick road trip stop.
- 3/5
The staff was good and courteous.the phone system has serious issues . The room we had the phone wouldn’t connect to the front desk at all my mother called and called but no one could answer .
- 4/5
Hotel is in a safe area with 2 other hotels. Quick drive to downtown. Seems older, but mainly renovated. An odd amount of rusting since it is not near the ocean. (Bring your own hair dryer.) There was always fresh coffee available. Hotel does not have breakfast. The front office staff was helpful.
- 3/5
Hotel was easily accessible from the high way.
- 3/5
Room was ok. Good for the price
- 2/5
Room smelled like pool and cheap air freshener and it was strong, the bathroom was dirty with lotion and shampoo on the floor. Front desk staff were very friendly and kind. They quickly ran out of coffee in the morning. Will not be back.
- 3/5
Clean room and friendly staff. Decent A/C and poor water pressure.
- 1/5
Do not stay at this hotel. There was a hole in the outer window pane in our room, there were multiple light bulbs burned out (the light over the bathroom sink was one of them), the sheets were not changed while we were there, we ran out of soap in the shower, there were only two bath towels and two wash cloths per day, the available television channels was very limited, the floor in our room was not cleaned, and the chairs in the lobby were extremely worn. They had an entire section roped off that looked like they used to serve breakfast. It just seemed as though no effort was being put into the place.
- 2/5
The chairs in front lobby were all ripped up and gross. It didn’t leave a good first impression
- 1/5
This hotel should be closed down! It is in horrible condition! The smell was horrible, there is damage to the hotel all over, holes in the walls stuffed with Kleenex, mold in the bathroom, damaged carpet, cigarette burns in the duvet in a non-smoking room, noise through the walls. Way too much to mention! I can’t believe I paid $179:night to stay in this dump! Worse place I have ever stayed!
- 5/5
The location
- 4/5
Front desk people were really awesome. Jeff Is a great guy and very knowledgeable! Hallway and a few things need to be updated. Room was comfortable but also needs to have some touch ups too. I would definitely stay there again though. I will say there is NO BREAKFAST though.
- 3/5
The receptionist was a nice guy. I got in late around midnight. There were 3 young guys smoking out front. Place is needs updating and a deep cleaning. I got a non smoking room that still smelled like smoke. I felt uncomfortable staying. Thankfully it was only one night. A plus is they do allow pets. I didn’t bring a dog though.
- 5/5
Like always the stay was great and the staff if wonderful the only thing I wish could be better is the wifi signal
- 5/5
Loved our stay front desk were so helpful an kind will definitely come back
- 4/5
We've been here 2x and its been great. Staff are always so nice and its just the perfect spot to stop on our way to Nashville. 😘
- 2/5
If it was refundable I would have left. The roach I killed on the wall was gross. Now I am not sure what other bugs are there.
- 3/5
Very friendly staff. Plenty of parking. Relatively clean and a modern bathroom. However... Mattresses sucked, shower didn't drain well, and the pillows and towels were pretty rough. Asked if there was a different room that might have better mattresses. They let us look at another room which was available, but it wasn't any better. Take this all in the context that this about was the cheapest option we could find, so there is that.
- 3/5
It is an old building, but the people operate the hotel are trying to do their best for the customers. I would say the hotel is reasonable for the price.
- 5/5
The room was nice
- 1/5
First thing we noticed was the smell of mold and mildew. After a few minutes in the room we noticed hair on the toilet, shower, and towels. Dark drips down the wall in the bathroom. There were dirt, crumbs, and debris all over the floor, the bed skirts were covered in hair from pets. There was mold in several places including the back of the upholstered chair. The outlets had brown gunk all over them. Sitting on the bed you could hear and feel the springs, it was so uncomfortable especially with my spine disorder I would not have been able to sleep on them. The comforter had holes in it, some obviously cigarette burned. The tv remote and door knobs were greasy. The door to the bathroom was so terribly repaired in so many places it was ridiculous. Honestly the worst and most disgusting experience I've had since 2010, there is no reason these days to pay almost $100 for a room that awful. Very unsanitary.
- 5/5
I'm local tow truck driver and I stay at this location all the time and the customer service is great especially Jeff and it's easy for me to get to my calls from this location and there's plenty of parking for my rollback
- 5/5
It was a good stay and quiet
- 5/5
Staff member Jeff is great to work with he if very helpful and has great customer service skills
- 4/5
Good basic room with all the necessities
- 4/5
The front desk guy at night is really good at is job!
- 5/5
Older property, somewhat dated, but the room was clean and friendly front desk staff.
- 1/5
I didn't even stay for a myriad of reasons and they won't give me my money back. The parking is dirty and so is the lobby. The clerk was one of the rudest people I've met in my entire life. I highly recommend no one stay here.
- 5/5
Everything was great. Only two things hampered our stay. They were the elevator was very slow and little pressure in the shower. Other than those 2 small things everything was excellent, especially the clerks at the front desk at check in and check out were outstanding in every manner. They should be commended.
- 5/5
Comfortable and quiet
- 2/5
Not a place I would stay at again.
- 4/5
Property could use some updating.
- 3/5
Basic place to stay for a night. Does need some maintenance ( painting).
- 4/5
Staff was very friendly and was able to get our room cleaned and prepared quickly so that we could get ready for graduation festivities for my daughter after a long road trip.
- 3/5
I guess you get what you pay for. Not very clean, pretty loud, and no food options close by. But the beds were comfy, so slept ok.
- 4/5
Rooms need updating! Towel rack is rusted. Hallway has an unpleasant odor.
- 1/5
This place is in dire need of a complete remodel
- 5/5
Convenient parking comfortable beds quiet clean. Professionalism of the staff. What i didn't like snack and soda machines only took cash.
- 3/5
Our smoke detector had tape on it rather than a battery cover and it started beeping on our last night. The room was clean but there was only an office chair for seating in the photos it showed arm chairs to sit in so we ended up sitting on the bed the whole stay which isn’t ideal. But overall was a decent stay!
- 3/5
The internet wasn't great. Videos buffered constantly even at low quality. The TV wasn't working when I arrived but they were able to get it fixed in minutes.
- 5/5
10 out of 10
- 5/5
Passing through and spent one night. Front desk staff was nice. Room was clean. Would stay here again.
- 5/5
Hotel / staff was amazing 5 stars :)
- 4/5
Quick stay, great front desk person!
- 4/5
Good stay for the money
- 3/5
It was okay but looked like it needs updated
- 4/5
The location is quiet and there is plenty of parking. The bed is comfortable with lots of pillows. My room had no art work on the walls, but it looks like there are hangers for art. My room could use a little more detailed cleaning and a coat of paint as there are scrapes and scratches on the walls and trim .
- 2/5
No breakfast
- 5/5
I stayed for 2
- 4/5
Cheap for a last minute Saturday night
- 5/5
It was affordable, easily accessible, convenient to my destinations
- 4/5
We stayed here 1 night as we were attending a concert in the area. We didn’t spend much time there. It was clean, cheap, and served its purpose. Would recommend if you need something decent near the UT campus.
- 4/5
Very friendly
- 4/5
Last minute stop, more than adequate.
- 5/5
The ADA access is as good as the Premier hotels. This hotel needs an infusion of cash though. Chairs in lobby are hideous. Chair in my room is worn to the bone. But the bed is fine. TV is good. Front door guy is spectacular.
- 5/5
I’ve stayed at this property many times before, and I will continue to come back. Shout out to the manager, who has always been outstanding and welcoming for as long as I’ve been a customer.
- 5/5
The gentleman working the check in desk was very kind, polite and professional. Felt very safe at this location during my stay.
- 5/5
Quiet for a Friday night, and we were near the back door, was a few bumps late, after 11 p.m. but nothing very noisy. we didn't report anything. bed slept well. king size bed, could use new fitted sheets, the one on bed didn't stay over the corners .
- 4/5
Ok at best
- 4/5
STAY WAS AVERAGE. Front desk employee was rude. But overall it was a good stay...
- 2/5
Cockroach on the bathroom
- 5/5
Staff is really nice...rooms are much nicer than expected for price
- 5/5
Great for price
- 2/5
Be prepared to give them $100 dollar deposit at check in. Be aware that my room had roaches will not stay again
- 1/5
Had bug didnt stay
- 2/5
They had roaches
- 1/5
While I was sleeping in this room, however, I continually felt as though there was something crawling on me only to wake and find my room infested with roaches. I gathered my things and left immediately. Every time I picked up a personal belonging, more roaches were uncovered. I attempted to discuss a full refund with the hotel management as I was unable to even stay a full night, but I was told this would not be provided and I would have to speak with a hotels.com representative to resolve this, which per my conversation with customer service was untrue. I will not be returning to this hotel.
- 4/5
It was ok for the money not the best but it will do.
- 2/5
Staff was kind and efficient. The property needs maintenance, faucet barely worked. Damage to interior room, felt grungy. Would NOT stay or recommend this property/location ever.
- 3/5
Floors were dirty (still hair in the bathroom floor) absolutely zero water pressure, to me that’s a big thing, if I have to struggle to get shampoo out of my hair with really short hair at that it should say how bad that was.
- 4/5
Stayed here for a football game and was very satisfied. Can’t beat it for the price
- 5/5
It's no five star hotel but you kinda know that going in. If you like a firm mattress, this is the place for you. It was quiet, clean, and you can reserve an Olympus shuttle to hitch a ride to Neyland stadium and back.
- 3/5
It was a very easy check in. The two staff members I had interactions with were absolutely sweet and understanding. Unfortunately, I had to cut my stay short due to uninvited six legged friends that decided to come out around midnight. I was refunded in a timely manner after being offered a new room (which I declined). If the bug problem is handled better in the future I would stay here again.
- 2/5
My son and I stayed for the Tennessee football game. We knew this wasn't a 'nice hotel' but the cleanliness was not good. We both had many bed bug bites, which is unacceptable for any hotel. It's just lazy. I was not happy with the stay, again, knowing it wasn't going to wow me, but was still very disappointed and am now dealing with the itching and irritation of sleeping on one of the beds. Disgusting. Will not be staying again.
- 5/5
The hotel is older but clean for the most part. It has some poorly repaired areas that make it appear less than clean. The bathroom was clean and tidy. The floors had some worn areas but the bed and linens were comfortable and clean Overall, I would stay there again.
- 3/5
Hotel was quiet. Room really needs updated. Found a roach crawling in the entrance hallway in the room. Outlets built into the light between the beds, only 1 worked and it was iffy. Had to pull out the nightstand and plug in there.
- 1/5
it has cockroaches place is so dirty
- 1/5
Not one, I stayed in a room with live and dead roaches. Next morning, I asked him to move me and when I did, the room smelled so bad. I just left the hotel and did not use the room. Line was too long to talk about it as I was going to the game, I called to ask for some resolution and they would not give a refund so doing a Visa chargeback.
- 5/5
Good experience
- 2/5
You get what you pay for. Had roaches in first room but were moved to another. Room was a little better. Building is very run down and needs a lot of work. Was very close to Neyland stadium which was the reason we were there.
- 5/5
I have stayed several times while visiting Knoxville. For the price it is an excellent place to stay.
- 2/5
Very old, alot of people living on property, lots of rules
- 3/5
Convenient to downtown and neyland stadium
- 1/5
I checked in and left it was utterly disgusting I wouldn’t let my worst enemy stay there I’d rather sleep in my car where it’s safe from bed bugs and Disease, I never seen anything like it they turned up the air full blast so I could smell the mold head board falling off the wall sticks holding up air conditioner everything had cigarette burns in it , im trying to get my money back I booked two rooms and left immediately after checking in couldn’t even close my door or bathroom door from the swelling and the ceiling was rusted completely in the bathroom never stay there …
- 2/5
There was really nothing that I liked about the property, the rooms were old, worn and dirty, stains on walls.
- 5/5
It was an easy check in, close to shopping, food, and Neyland Stadium, which is why we were in town staying.
- 1/5
This property was terrible. Bugs were on the walls, in the AC unit, under the beds and all over the floor. It was so bad that we left 5 minutes after arriving. I reported this to the front desk and left. I did not get any refund. No one should ever stay here
- 2/5
The overall outside appearance of this property was run down, the building, parking lot and landscaping. In side our room, our bathroom door would not close or shut properly. The air conditioner had accumulated a large puddle right under it, which seemingly has been causing the cheap laminate flooring to start stripping, warping and coming apart. And our entire bedding set was very wet when we laid down, the front desk brought new linen, overall not a very nice place
- 2/5
Burn holes in the bedding, hair on the towels, rude staff that wouldn’t honor my requested one hour late check out
- 1/5
Very upset. Not what I originally ordered.
- 1/5
Stayed here for two nights and as we were checking out we noticed cockroaches crawling around from under the bed and under the TV stand. Talked to the front desk woman this morning and she said there’s “nothing she can do”, yet would still talk to the other people in the back about issuing a refund. Haven’t heard anything back though, of course. They were crawling all around our stuff so now we will have to clean all of that out. Absolutely disgusting. Do NOT stay here.
- 5/5
In town for Morgan Wallen concert and stayed at this hotel. It was great for what we needed it for. The room was a little banged up and could use a fresh coat of paint but it was great for us for the price.
- 3/5
Room could have been more clean
- 1/5
Worst place I have ever stayed at in my life.
- 5/5
Everyone was nice and friendly
- 1/5
It really bothers me to have leave a negative review but honesty will help you improve. This hotel should not even be open. Period. The room smells stale & old. The covers (all) smell old and dusty. The lamp shades are molded and rotted out. The leather on the desk chair is peeling completely off. There are splatter stains on the bathroom wall. There are cracks in the wall and the paint is peeling in the bedroom area. I laid my shirt over the pillowcase so my face didn’t touch it. I truly felt itchy all night. Nothing was biting me, I checked, it was just the dusky, mildew, staleness of the room. I will never stay at this hotel, or another of its kind, ever again. This was the first and last! Please spend the time and money it takes to become a safe, reputable place. It will benefit you in the long run. All the best!
- 3/5
The a/c was not working correctly, there were only 2 towels and 2 wash clothes for a booking of 4 adults. The handles were hanging if the entrance doors and the hangers were hanging off in the bathrooms
- 2/5
Staff was nice. Facility was older, which isn’t a big deal, but felt neglected. Had a lot of air freshener smells covering up funky smells. Our first room had ac leak, floor was wet underneath. They moved us to another room. Saw two little cockroaches in bathroom. Didn’t feel very clean.
- 3/5
To many people walking up down halls all night people sleeping in cars out back people drinking out the back door to the parking lot well not stay there again
