Clean rooms, friendly staff, great location, and a good complimentary breakfast. The hotel was quiet, comfortable, and conveniently located near restaurants and shopping. We had a wonderful stay and would definitely return!

The rooms weren’t as clean as they should have been. Hair on beds and shower was not cleaned and had hair on floors and in shower. Couldn’t get comfortable.

This is a great stop for our drive between Florida and Michigan. We’ve stopped here a few times and we’ve always enjoyed our stay. This time we were on the fourth floor last room on the highway side, it was pretty noisy in the room from the highway noise. So next time we do stay, I would ask for a room at the other end of the hotel.

I agree with policies for a purpose. We arrived 20 minutes ahead of 3:00. Walked in, smiled, and said recognizing we’re slightly early but we’d like to check in if possible. Were told “No, no check in until 3:00”. My smile faded and I looked at my watch to make sure I had the time right. The clerk was rude. If he’d have said, sorry, we’re a little busy or behind on housekeeping, I’d have been fine with that. Property is becoming worn and weary even for a relatively new hotel as most TRU are. Someone was smoking in a room nearby and it was wafting into ours. Highway noise from Rt 40 is exceptionally loud and constant through the night. The Turkey Creek area is a good location for food, shopping if needed, and nice small parks for an after dinner stroll. Close and convenient to all parts of downtown Knoxville. There are lots of better options along the very same location. I’ll question the wisdom of booking a TRU stay again, anywhere. Shame, as we’ve typically had above average experiences at TRU locations. We don’t require fancy or extraordinary. We appreciate basic courtesies and a moderately quiet nights sleep.

Could not check-in as the computer system was down and after waiting half an hour we went somewhere else.

They had technical difficulties and couldn't check us in when we arrived around 6:45 pm. It was after 9:00 before we could get checked in.

The hotel lobby is comfortable and lovely, the room was spotlessly clean and incredibly welcoming and comfortable. The bed was very comfortable as well.

I really like the design of this hotel. It gave me a college dorm vibe but in a good way. The room was very nice. I loved the pairing like curtain and black out shade. The sound of traffic was loud though. But, I was tired so I still feel asleep

The noise from the intestate was so loud it sounded like the windows were up.

The hotel was nice and in a great location, but the bed was so worn out I couldn't sleep or stay in it for more than an hour without having to get up. I travel a lot, and this was by far the worst bed I have ever had at a hotel.

Wish that they would use a blanket on the bed instead of a dust ruffle for the blanket. Or at least put an extra blanket somewhere in the room where you don’t have to call for an extra blanket. Nice touch putting your name on the tv welcoming you to your room

Something nasty looking by the desk. Shower not clean. Trash can had trash already in it. The desk chair had animal hair on it. At this point, I was scared to sleep on the sheets. This location/room is not the expectation for Hilton.

The water pressure in the shower was really poor. My husband didn’t even realize I had it running that’s how low it was. Otherwise it was a decent stay. Breakfast was decent and not just all processed stuff. Bed was comfortable and the staff was pleasant.

Had to move rooms due to loud barking dog that staff wouldn’t address along with dog urine and feces from the people taking their dog up and down the hallways. Moved to a room that hadn’t been renovated and the door was broken on

Absolutely filthy dirty room. Checked for bed bugs and found weird stained mattress. Liquid stains on the walls. Bugs. Loud noise being outside elevator and highway. Would not recommend, nor will I ever Stay at a Tru again. Very basic. So overpriced. We had it booked 2 nights, only stayed one and flew home early. So gross.

They were not able to check us in due to “the system being down”. The desk clerk had no idea when they would be able to check us in and said that they could not do anything and showed us her blank screen. It was after midnight and we had called twice knowing we would be a later check in. We left the hotel after being told they could not help us. I was then charged for a canceled room. We did not cancel, they would not give us a room that we had reserved and left.

Upon arrival found bed had been made but sheets had not been changed. There was blood and hair on all bedding except the pillow cases. Shower contained mold. Unable to get replacement comforter for 2 days due to staff not knowing where they were. Dirty qtip in elevator for 2 days. Breakfast and coffee was good though!

The bed sheets were a bit weird: They were woven into a cover blanket in such a way that they left us too hot to sleep or too cold to get back to sleep.

The hotel was nice, clean etc. The location right next to busy interstate makes it very loud at night. You can hear every semi-truck.

The floors were too dirty to walk on without shoes. When my husband showed the staff member at the front desk a towel where he scooted around after a shower to keep his feet clean she looked disgusted, but didn’t apologize or offer to see management. Not what I expect from anything with the Hilton name.

Mold in the shower, some kind of gross smear spray on the mirror right when you walk in. AC parts falling off, no tissues in the box, TP holder fell off the wall when we tore off the paper. For a “king room” there was hardly any room to walk in, could not fur the roller cart in the door and walk around to unload it. Light switches don’t match up, no microwave??? No closet??? For almost $350 it was the biggest rip off of a Hilton branded hotel we’ve ever been to.

Bottom of shower door was covered in mold/mildew. Green and gross. Let them know it was there and our child is allergic to mold and they said they'd have someone clean it "tomorrow".... our checkout day. Knowing she had an allergy.

No coffe or tea in room. Though parking was adequate, ingress to facilities is dangerous. Also, since my credit card was charged an extra $25 for ‘incidentals’ on addition to my basic lodging., and I was not provided with a revised, corrected invoice when I checked out and turned in my room key!

The room was clean and the hotel was quiet, which is very much appreciated. Only complaint was the bed & pillows weren’t very comfortable. My husband I felt each other tossing and turning and my husband said his hip was achy as a result of the mattress. On the plus side we were SO happy to find out this location has an EV charger.

Room was very small and tight. The wall mirror was damaged.

The front desk staff was not really helpful. I booked the room for three people but ended up only having 2. I asked if there was a price difference and the man acted like I asked a dumb question, then when I went on the app it said it would be $24 less for only 2 people.

I was unable to check in on the first night due to delayed flights and the Verizon connection shortage made it difficult for me to notify them. I was still charged the full about even though I only stayed 2 nights instead of 3 and I booked a king and didn’t get that, they gave me a 2 queen.

The room was nice and spacious. The blackout curtains worked perfectly. It was quiet. I really appreciated having access to coffee anytime I wanted as well. Highly recommend.

What made this stay much better than antipated was the friendly staff, open lobby and it being Super Pet Friendly. Our two puppies, Cassidy and Poppins lived it.

How clean and spotless it was

This is a very pre-manufactured hotel. No drawers in the room, just metal shelving, pergo floors, and air conditioning that was loud, ran constantly and did not cool the room. Just not a comfortable place to stay. The breakfast food was tasteless. The towels were minimal in quality. They did have decent coffee and the front desk lady was very sweet.

Booked a room on the Hotels.com app. Arrived at hotel and was told at front desk “there was a glitch in the app, and there was no room available.” Front desk staff did not attempt to offer any kind of remedy to the situation other than advising me to handle the situation with customer service on my own.

Everything was very nice, clean and newer. Loved the room. The hot Breakfast could have been a little better, eggs and sausage were clearly microwaved, fresh bagels and pancake machine made up for it.

Upon arrival a woman was behind the counter saw us coming in the door and turned and quickly walked away. We acknowledged that was strange and we were left standing there for check in for over 40min. We called the hotel phone and no one surfaced ever. After 40 min a new man arrived through the back door just arriving for his shift. He did not acknowledge that we had been left alone in an unsupervised facility. Checked us in and we went to bed. I guess the woman wanted to leave and decided checking us in would slow down her exit. But the hotel was unstaffed for over 30 min

Negatives are they will give you an extra blanket but it looks like a mattress pad not a real blanket. Very nice walk in shower. No microwave in the room. Refrig is nice but you can not set the temperature in it so everything was frozen by the next morning. Being as close to the interstate you really did not hear the traffic and I was on one of the front rooms.

I stayed for 2 nights for a school event I had to attend. I got a 2 queen sized bed room. Upon arrival in the room, I quickly noticed how many things were details missed that could’ve been easily avoided before I checked in. The shower shelf was hanging on by a thread in the shower, the shower door would not shut all the way, the handle on the shower door was so loose. You couldn’t use it to open the shower door, there were several spots around the room on the walls that look like somebody took a eyeshadow brush too, there was a dog paw print on my mattress protector, there was a red marker spot on my comforter, and there were a couple tears on the bench in the room. these were things that could have easily been prevented. Had someone paid attention to detail or looked in the room before we arrived to make sure they were putting us in a clean room. The sheets were clean and the surfaces were clean, but there were just a bunch of minor details that were completely overlooked. The manager had messaged me about my stay after I checked in and I let him know about these details and the only response I got back was “…”. I know nothing is going to be perfect, but I just wish for how much I have to pay for hotels nowadays that certain things like the shower shelf would’ve been fixed before my arrival.

Checked in. Front desk was distracted. Room television did not work. No attempt to fix. Someone spilled coffee in morning. Staff left large spill on floor for 30 minutes. Included breakfast set up late. May be in Hilton family, but definitely not Hilton service or staff training.

Also, there was tornado activity close by and when I tried to inquire if there were county tornado sirens, they didn't know. They have an automatic $25 damage deposit at check-in. The building is close to the interstate so lots of truck noises, however, the heat/ac unit was loud enough to drown it out. Building was new (or remodeled) with several convenient USB plugs. Bed was comfortable.

The front desk was very helpful, fast and efficient. The elevators and bathrooms in the lobby smelled really nice. Everything seem to be very well.

I wish Tru hotels had coffee machines in the rooms. This is the second Tru hotel I have stayed with in the last two weeks. Each had a stopper in the bathroom sink that didn’t work. Both were immaculate and staff was pleasant and welcoming.

Really enjoyed the atmosphere of this accommodation - lively, upbeat, fun, inviting. The room was decent overall. However, the floors were somewhat sticky (maybe from the cleaning fluid they use?) and there were several maintenance issues that needed addressed such as loose towel/toilet paper racks, clogged sink, dirty shower tiles. Overall, we were content with our short stay, and the hotel staff did respond favorably to any concerns we had.

Nice place right off freeway. They give you 2 waters upon check in which was great. Breakfast was pretty good. Everyone else was good also. The only thing i wasn't crazy about was all the decor. It's very eclectic/modern. Very bright!!! I felt like i was in a childs daycare. Not for my husband and myself. But it was a nice place to stay and convenient.

The only thing we didn’t like was we could hear the traffic on I-75 at 2am. Other than that we would definitely stay at another Tru but would request a room further away from the freeway.

Check in took 15 minutes for a reservation that was made ahead of time and they have my Hilton Honors info. She was severely incompetent. Charged an extra $ pet fee even though I already paid a $ pet fee. I've been driving all day and didn't want to wait any longer. Will never stay here again.

Not so good! Cleanliness of Bathroom horrible, shower door wouldn’t seal so therefore water was all over the floor. Then we were given another room and the bathroom was full of ants. Not enough tissue and room did not cleaned daily. Not enough variety of breakfast food.

It was clean and accessible. However the fitness room needs attention. There were no towels nor sanitizing wipes available.

The cleanliness could have been better. Bathroom was in need of all sorts of repairs. All ice machines were out of order except one. For the price expected better.

Dont ask for an extra blanket or sheets heaven forbid. They "did not have any". The ice buckets are located on the first floor with no bags and were not sanitary. There were other issues, just too many to list. Will not be booking anything in the future.

We were very pleased with our check in, Carla was super nice! Our room directly faced a very busy interstate, so we had very loud noise ALL night long. I don’t know if hotels.com reserved rooms are intentionally the worst rooms in the facility, but this isn’t the first time we’ve had similar experiences. We also had some heavy pot smoking close by, even though the hotel is smoke free. We know this is no fault of the hotel or hotels.com. Just that people are jerks and have no respect for themselves or others. When we complained, the front desk assured us they would address this issue. Breakfast had a nice variety in a clean environment. All of the staff we encountered were very friendly and helpful.

Don’t listen to the bad reviews. We thought this place was quite good for a fairly inexpensive stay. Room was clean and comfortable. Staff were very pleasant. Breakfast was adequate with some hot choices. I loved the comfort and social ability of the lobby!!
