This was the second time we stayed here. While we liked our room location, the actual room needs updating. The sink wouldn’t drain properly, toilet was wiggly, the carpet needs to be changed or washed badly. Breakfasts were decent. Staff were friendly.

Have stayed here many times over the years. Always been a great place to stay. Many dining options and easy access to freeway.

Property is beautiful. Check in was easy. Room was clean and basic. Breakfast left more to be desired for the price of the rooms per night.

Very thing is pretty nice but I don’t get to check in at 3:00pm, the check in was delayed about 45mins. But other than that, noting to complain about this place.

We enjoyed our stay at The Laguna Hills Lodge. The family room includes comfortable chairs and coffee table that was the gathering spot for my family, and it did not feel like it’s just a hotel room. The bathtub in the bathroom had shower-head. The beds were comfortable, and our room included foldable couch. My favourite sport at Laguna Hills was the garden where we made quiet a few family pictures during our stay.

Awesome hotel, clean and the staff was excellent and super kind/helpful. The breakfast in the morning is great and the location is perfect for the 5 and surrounding areas. Rooms are very clean and comfortable. Would gladly stay here again with no hesitation. The 5 star reviews are well deserved.

rude staff not wanting to address the issues that we were concerned about, this place evidently is an extended stay property with regular tennants sitting out in their vehicles while their diesel engines were running getting drunk, smoking weed and just stared at us as they were parked right in front of our door....looked like weirdos on crack. we had other family members in a room two doors down that could no longer stand being stared at like zoo amimals and dealing with with the weed and the engines running so they had to leave and took a room at another location saying to us that they walked accross the floor one time and their socks were black from the lack of cleaning and the air conditioner sounded like a growling dog. I could say more but I am sure that whoever reads this will get the point...

Ive came here mulitple times and love it great staff amazing pool washing machines are great and the location is perfect in between the beach and irvine spectrum center lots of food nearby and they upgraded to smart tvs so thats also a plus

This is a beautifully maintained property with abundant plants and flowers. The room is clean with all the necessities including a decent sized fridge. The front desk staff are polite and professional and offer good help. I highly recommend the hotel.

listen to that. It was a Friday and I was in for a family reunion on Saturday and so I was stuck otherwise I would of left!! The only good thing about this room was it was a good size room everything else was disgusting the table between the beds was sticky the dresser had dried dirt on the side panel, the refrigerator had rust in the inside and on the wire shelves. The shower head looked rusted the walls and door in the bathroom had dirt and rust stains. The air conditioner sounded like an animal was trying to claw its way out, had to turn off it was so loud. The room was booked 2 nights, and I canceled the second night and find another hotel. Please check room before moving any suite cases in Trashy place and staff no help!! Do not RECOMMEND

This property is gorgeous. It’s like being in a garden. Everything was really clean and well kept up. They have a pool and a hot tub. The vending machines are available right on the property in case you forgot that snack, soda or bottled water.

Need to change beddings before occupancy

Breakfast had many choices, including scrambled eggs and sausage/bacon, depending on the day. There was also cereal, toast/bagel choices, juice, etc...lots of good stuff. I love the grounds, with all the plants and flowers growing. I used the washer and dryer, it cost $4 a load for each. Parking was free, and ample. The location is amazing. We put out the hanger on the outside door for maid service each day, this was only completed on the first day we were there, the other days it seemed to be ignored, and was disappointing. I was able to get fresh towels at the front office.

Hot tub produced lots of foam that was not pleasant with all the foam around you and gathering in the corners! Grounds where excellently maintained.

I loved the garden the trees it just looks like it’s own little oasis and I love close like restaurants and shopping are right there so you could walk to them There was absolutely nothing. I didn’t like about this property even though the road is right there you don’t really hear anything so the sound is good. The windows are good. Everything was great.

The accommodations are modest but adequate. My room was clean and had everything we needed-and also had a microwave and fridge. The bathroom was a bit tight. They had a really nice continental breakfast included. And the also had a pool and sauna I didn’t use. Overall great quality for the price right in Laguna hills!

Room was dirty, dusty, and old. Bathroom doorknob falling off. Pool was murky. Floors were dirty. Only stay here if you’re trying to save money and can’t afford anything ended.

I had a great stay at the Laguna Hills Lodge. Property is a little older but very clean and tidy and well maintained. Liked the location and the fact it had lots of walkable restaurants and stores.

I wouldn't say the breakfast was continental. Although it was included with the price of the stay, the only thing outside of the regular dry cereal, breads, oatmeal, yogurt and fruit were the eggs and sausage. I could say the eggs were edible, but they weren't really. Very powdered texture, microwaved, and you could see the worker take the sausage out of the freezer, and microwave it. If you wanted your breads cut, you had to give it to the workers. It was better than nothing, but we had to go other places to eat breakfast because it wasn't much.

This is a really nice place. Well priced. Good location. Older but well maintained. The only reason I took a star off was they either spray fabric freshener or wash their towels in fragrance, which was not great for me.

The rest of the hotel is just OK. The bathroom was quite old and you need a refresh as well.

Clean spacious rooms with modern amenities while the exterior still has that spanish villa charm with lovely gardens. The staff is wonderful and free breakfast buffet is always hot and fresh with a variety to choose from. Pool, hot tub, workout, sauna, office space and laundry! This is my 3rd year staying here and I'm looking forward to my next visit.

This hotel is a great location, has all the needed amenities, and a great breakfast. Nothing fancy, but truly a great place to stay!

I’ve stayed here a couple of times. It feels very safe and clean. It’s also conveniently located close to the freeway, but not too close to be noisy. They have a nice free breakfast available every morning, too.

The bathtubs still have no mats in the tubs so they're very slippery~ Bathroom flooring always seems dirty~ The bed coverings are 2 sheets and a thin blanket, we froze both nights! But it's one individual in particular, Kevin, who is very matter of fact and never friendly or helpful! I've been staying at LHL several times a year for the last 10 years and every front desk agent is helpful and friendly, all but Kevin! It was 2 years ago, when I booked through the hotel directly, tgat I was charged a "BED TAX" which resulted in another $100 being added to my bill! I questioned it and Kevin became argumentative and couldn't explain what this tax was for and why isn't it mentioned on their website! That's when I stopped staying there~

Great for a quick stay! Beautiful grounds with lush gardens and landscape. The rooms were spacious, comfy beds, upgraded floors, microwave and refrigerator were helpful. Enjoyed their gym and the service and hospitality were top notch. Would stay here again!

Had 2 other occupants in room close to ours starting and running their diesel vehicles all hours of the night. Talked to management to be moved. Said I would have to check out in the morning and see if a room opened up later. We stuck it out. Stayed in a different hotel last week which was much nicer and quieter and also more reasonable.

place was disgusting. the ratings must be because so many places in california are hotels that people are living in longterm, this spot is no different but for that reason the upkeep is poor for people who only need a hotel stay rather than a home. the place is rundown and you can tell they just painted over it painted over hills dirt and cobwebs in the corners the tub and toilet and sink is rusted. staff is nice. tissue even though i opened it fresh was stained. just a place that i would never stay again. walls motel level thin.

This was my fourth stay over the past 12 years and it's one of my favorites. You can't beat the price for the amenities, grounds, & location. We will definitely be back!

I really thought the rooms at the Laguna Hills Lodge were overrated. When the reviews-gave it such high ratings, I expected so much more. It was just an average hotel and the breakfast was sub standard at best. I guess I’d called the whole experience adequate but the way it was sold, it was luxurious, it was not.

It's quiet and located in best area, but if you go with white socks than your socks will turn to black

The downside is the bedding was a sheet and thin blanket and another sheet. There was no comforter. We were freezing!!! The heater works well but sucks oxygen out of the air would have been nice to have a normal blanket. Never had this situation at a hotel before. The other thing was the breakfast offered was mostly cerial, bread, fruit, there was bacon but it wasn’t like anything I seen before paper thin. Usually places have potatoes, sausages, waffles and pasteries . First time seeing that too.

My wife and I had a very comfortable stay. Parking was easy and plenty for free. Location was great, easy access to freeway and plenty of shopping and dining choices nearby. Will definitely stay again.

This is a really good value and the garden is beautiful, the fountain was pleasant and the jasmine smelled amazing. The gardeners and housekeeping staff were very pleasant and they were very available. The front desk staff was also extremely pleasant. It is a slightly tired property and the rooms are slightly shabby, but they were quite clean and very serviceable. The bougainvillea is lovely. Even though it is next to the fire station, there were no sirens all night, and the parking was plentiful and free. the rooms are on an open air hallway. So the security at this property is not quite the same as one where you need a key card to get in anywhere. But that said, it was not an issue. Overall, very good value. next time I would consider a bottom floor room that opens on the garden or asking for an upper floor that overlooks it, because it really was just such a lovely ambience.

My stays are very quiet no bother the staff is exceptionally great people MJ Tim Anis Kevin the cleaning staff very respectful if I need a blanket or if I need a towel, they’re there promptly just a great place to stay. I wish I could stay there every day because right now I am on the house, but I can’t afford the money because there’s days it spikes higher and then there’s days that it’s lower and I think I was told that they could only let me stay up until seven days and then go forward with the other seven days but all in all it’s a great place to stay. Keep up the great work you guys.

Just a great spot where I could rest before I go back to work and I sleep in my car Monday through Friday so the weekends I really get to rest here. Thanks again for everything.

This is our second time staying here. The last time was six years ago. Really beautiful landscaping and the rooms are well-maintained and clean. It’s conveniently located, and the front desk was very helpful.

This property is very old and a bit run down. It was ok for the price but I won’t be back. Between the old fridge, street noise, fire station sirens and freeway it was very noisy.

The hotel is near several restaurants. It is clean and fairly private. The beds are not too comfortable, but overall, a good hotel.

Clean well kept property. Loved the landscaping, enjoyed the pool and jacuzzi open 7am to 11pm. Room was large and clean. Breakfast was nice start to day. Checkin was easy and welcoming. Location was great and right off freeway.

I booked 3 rooms together for a family function. When checking in I was told no 3 rooms together, one was on the 3rd floor, one on the first floor and the 3rd in another building. Left the sign on the door for room service, they never entered my room, no fresh towels of bed linens, tried calling front desk, phone did not work. Reported all discrepancies to front desk and received a shoulder shrug from the clerk. I will never stay at this place again.

Breakfast is very basic, and no conditioner for the shower. The rooms are fine, cleanliness was average. Perfect for a quick inexpensive stop due to location along the 5 and close to restaurants.

Property grounds are very pretty. Rooms are older and have potential but are somewhat dirty. Caked on grime and dust on the trim, on bottom of dresser, dirty hand prints on the bathroom door. Linens are extremely rough and the most horrible toilet tissue! Coffee tray was dirty with dried up food on it and covered in spilt coffee. Front desk staff has no clue about anything in the area as far as restaurants, shopping, etc. No security on the grounds so our neighbors partied until 4:00am and there was no one to contact regarding the situation. We won't return any longer.

Bathroom was very inconvenient. Shower head was leaking from the back. It was clogged with hard water salt. You cannot give a small tube of body wash and shampoo. Tissue dispenser is practically sitting over my thigh. Cannot comfortably use the commode with that dispenser in my way.

Upon check in we were given a room that hadn’t been cleaned yet…quickly rectified, but still kind of a hassle as we were in a building quite far from lobby. Also during our two night stay, left room 9am, put out the “maid please makeup room” sign as per instructed…still hadn’t been cleaned when we returned to room 4:30pm.

The location is great. It’s an older property but well maintained and the staff is very nice. I recommend a first floor room on the courtyard. I’ve stayed here many times and will be back.

Sam is a very thoughtful manager, he tried to find the quiet room for me and we had a good time in this place. They offered free breakfast, business center, and more. We are very happy to stay this place.

Bed was lumpy with a big depression in it. Room was cold the first night, they failed to activate the heater. Sliver of ghastly soap. Nobody speaks english except one desk guy. Breakfast was crap.

The beds were incredibly cozy — the kind you melt into and actually sleep well in (which says a lot). The room was spotless, fresh, and clearly well cared for. You can tell they take pride in keeping the property clean and comfortable. It was such a peaceful, relaxing stay and exactly what we needed. We would absolutely come back again.

The property is old. I’m guessing it was probably built in the 1970s. Having said that, it is extraordinarily well maintained and clean. The rates are some of the lowest I have seen in Orange County and the location is excellent, right off the 5 freeway at El Toro Rd. where there is plenty of restaurants, grocery stores, gas stations etc.

The first room we checked in had a very bad smell, the girl on the desk was nice and very accommodating. Room was changed and we had no issue afterwards. Only one night stay.

Room was clean, we were missing bath towels but we just ran up to the front desk and grabbed some. All the staff was helpful and nice, property is GORGEOUS. Breakfast is small but good.

The only bad thing is it's right across the street from a fire station so you'll hear a lot of sirens. But that's not thier fault.

Room(s) have unpleasant musty smell, mold spores growing between wall at baseboard next to bed, Missing electrical wall plate behind night stand, clock radio speaker grill cracked with white dust. Furniture neglected, run down and filthy. Visible black mold around bathtub seal. Entry door bottom seal missing allowing outdoor bugs to crawl in room. Staff was kind, friendly and helpful. They accommodated as best they can for property owners neglected upkeep.

After checking in, we went up to our room, luggage in tow. Upon opening the door, we immediately saw a suitcase open on the floor with clothes in it. Disgust turned to fright when I realized that someone was currently occupying the room. After bringing all our luggage back to our car, & going back to the main building, I informed them of the error. I expressed how scary & stressful it was, how worried I was that their system allowed them to issue a key to a room that already had a guest in it, how brining the luggage back & forth was a lot. And after handing me a new key, all that was said was a weak "Sorry". I resolved to handle this matter with the manager, as the front desk staff seemed to not care much. In addition, the one (and only) time we requested for our room to be cleaned- we came back to no towels, hand towels, wash cloths, bath rug or tissues. As in, they took it all away! The next morning I had to request that all the items be brought to our room. And they still forgot the tissues! If these issues had not happened, it would have been an otherwise lovely stay.

The staff was courteous. I was up since 3am yesterday and was exhausted. Tim was friendly and fast in getting me a room. The room was nice and clean. The bed was okay given the price. The sheets on one of the queen beds smelt funky but the other one was fine. The bathroom had a weird musty smell but by morning it seemed to dissipate. The breakfast had a nice spread and the lady there was kind and efficient in refilling food as others kept coming.

Room was lovely. If you are lucky to get a garden view, request it in your reservation, it is beautiful. It is close to a senior village, and a lot of paramedic and fire trucks drove by which was quite noisy, especially if you were in building B not facing the garden. Beds were comfortable if a little on the older side, and everything was clean and comfortable. Be aware that the units they use for AC/Heating can be a little tricky to work as they are designed to be energy savers.

Pleasant staff, we just had the basic double queen bed room. Walked in to find 3 small cockroach looking bugs on the floor and bathroom. Warmer weather, maybe that’s more normal but off putting. Room is updated with laminate floors and new paint. Bathroom tub and shower. Tub looks like it could use a good refinishing. Ironing board and iron look like they were from the 70s. Rust and discoloration. I think a new cover on the ironing board would make a simple different. The campus was very nice and quiet. The grounds had good upkeep. Continental breakfast was ok.

It’s January with just sheets on the bed and a 1/5 partial blanket by the foot of bed. We’ve asked in previous stays-every room should have a blanket in the room! We’ve had to go to the front desk each time and once they said “well we’ll have to look because we gave one to another guest.” Do they not have more than one? This is a basic comfort!

Adding a waffle or pancake maker would add more food options. Powered eggs aren't that great, not a fan of that. The Spa and the pool needed to cleaned and treated. Oily residue can be seen in the pool. Possibly mold, dark grey is observed in one of the corners of the SPA at the bottom and my skin had a strong ammonia odor after getting out and drying off. Room was nice, no issues there.

Fantastic location, very nice pool, jacuzzi, laundry facilities. My first room I couldn’t take the musty cinnamon musk smell when I opened the door. It smelled like someone dropped a bottle of musk with hints of cinnamon in the room. I stool at doorway for five minutes not wanting to go in and hoping the smell would dissipate. No luck. Staff were very nice when I informed them that the smell even for a few minutes was causing a headache. They gave me a different room. The second room had the same smell but it wasn’t as intense. I opened door and windows and turned on ac to help decrease the smell. The carpet in both rooms appeared old to me. I prefer hard floors

We discovered mold in the bathroom and were refused a refund for the upcoming night's stay, as we decided to leave.

he Lodge was a perfect place for my husband and I to stay while visiting my daughter and adult children during he holidays. Being that they live in a two bedroom apartment we opted to find our own place and this hotel was perfect not only in close location to our daughter's place, but it provided us great space, our own breakfast and a walkable area for us each morning.

Pratically no sound proof, can clearly hear every single word from the next room

Nice older hotel with Southwest charm in a great location. Nicely decorated for the holidays. Good place to stay, good staff, but the breakfast is basically high school cafeteria food or worse. Don’t stay there for that reason.

Sheets and towels are thin and old. Mattress is soft. Carpet seemed dirty. Room smelled like bug spray upon arrival. Furniture is dated. A dead rat was in the middle of the walkway near our room for hours. Our garden view room did not have a garden view. Will not be booking here again.

Lovely stay at the Laguna Hills Lodge. The grounds are well maintained and Holiday decorations are festive, what a treat. Staff friendly and helpful. While the property feels very secluded and safe, it's also conveniently located with several nearby restaurants and shopping! Truly a gem I hope to return to soon! Oh and the Jacuzzi was my favorite, very relaxing indeed! Thank you!

Good Breakfast for a good day and clean

Room was clean, beds are good. My biggest issue was road noise, and a draft. Turns out the window isn’t plum and although the window closes, it doesn’t close flush and there is a lot of space in the upper right corner. Caused a draft and certainly didn’t help the road noise .

Unfortunately the lodge has fallen into disrepair and is in desperate need of updating. There is nothing special about this place aside from the grounds and trees which are nice. The breakfast is an absolute joke as well.

The room smelled like smoke and the rug was sticky. We have stayed here before and the room was nice. Not sure what is going on but will not be staying here again. The breakfast was microwaved eggs and sausage. I saw the grumpy employee getting the eggs out of a plastic premade package. The food choices were not good.

I know this sounds like I'm just petty but I've never felt the need to leave a review like this before and I'm pretty fed up with the whole experience.

Enjoyed this hotel and especially the location, except that paseo de Valencia street behind the hotel (where our window was facing) was too loud with traffic all night long so we couldn’t leave the window open. Next time I’ll ask for a window facing other direction. Water pressure was great 👍

Felt like an unsafe environment. The door between connecting rooms you could see under. The sirens from the fire station next door kept me awake all night.

The room was clean and had a good stay. Breakfasts was good for the price no complaints there. Our key stopped working and we had to go to the lobby that was an inconvenience. The building is older but has great character if you like things like that which we do so we would definitely stay there again.

We stay at this hotel whenever we are in the area. Pool area is very nice. Rooms are a nice size, clean, fridge and microwave are very handy. Staff is very pleasant and helpful.

But the cleaning lady knock the door and I’m still sleeping I yield that my check out is 12 N she open the door without waiting me to open to let her know. I was embarrassed and report to the office. 1st time that happen to me I always check in and no cleaning Lady open the door right away and there’s a tag at the door handle “Do not Disturb” I will never come back to Laguna Hills Lodge

Dirty sheets, yellow marks. The locking safety hatch looked like someone tried to bust into the room, rust in bathtub and fridge. Beds very cheap and uncomfortable. We ended our stay with them the next day. We shouldn’t have had to pay for one night due to this all.

No fault to Laguna Hills Lodge, but my low rate is due to Expedia for not changing my scheduled visit due to Southwest changing my flight. I was charged for a day that I was not there!!

This is the worst hotel I have ever been to. Check-in said 3p.m. We arrived at 4:45 with 4 kids and one of our two rooms wasn’t ready. We had to drive around another 30 mins for them to supposedly clean the second room. While checking in, the employee was yellIng at an old man who just wanted towels for his room, since it wasn’t cleaned in the morning. When the old man left, the employee said he hates people like that, while using profanity to describe him. Worst customer service ever. The hotel is run by kids who hate their jobs and are visibly miserable. When we finally got in to the room, it smelled like it was cleaned with a dirty mop. It was horrible. I wouldn’t recommend anyone staying here. The staff is untrained, unhappy and really doesn’t care about their customers. And the rooms are old, dirty and smell.

Everything was okay, not spectacular by okay. The staff weren’t particularly friendly but they answered questions as requested. The rooms were orderly, but my wife said her bed sheet had stains. The breakfast had the usual bagged scrambled eggs and bacon, plus some cereal. The coffee and other beverages were good.

Overall, it was a great stay at the Laguna Hills Lodge. You definitely get your moneys worth. Breakfast staff were so kind and amazing. Breakfast was good as well. Room and restroom were all clean and lovely, not one extra mark. It was quiet as well, which is a plus. The closeness to the beach was definitely worth it, plus the scenery you can get. Overall, I had an amazing time and will definitely be staying again. The only small inconvenience was the lack of extra pillows and blankets, but that’s a minor thing that can easily be fixed. Other than that, definitely 5 stars across the board.

I never made it down for breakfast. Didn’t know it was available, but that’s ok! The staff was great, the location was right next to a gas station, Chick-fil-a and a Total Wine, which is hard to beat. The garden area was very beautiful and the pool was nice. We had a great time here!

This is my favorite place because it feels like coming home. The rooms are cozy, the garden is beautiful and well kept. I saw a humming bird from my window. The ease of lounging at the pool or sitting on a bench in the garden area invites guests for a rest between activities. It's close to the airport, attractions, beach.

Very convenient location for visiting Laguna Woods, easy access by car to restaurants, grocery stores, banks, pharmacies. Beautiful garden, worth paying extra for the view. If they added an armchair to the double queen room, replaced the rusty bathroom mirror, and repainted the walls they would be a superb motel. As it is they are very good and I would stay there again.

Biggest complaint is the ac in our room barely worked, sweating like crazy anytime we were there during the day despite having it always at the lowest temp on high. Next worst thing was the literal nonstop honking down the street from some protest. We were outside at the pool and had to listen to it for hours. The room info said the pool was heated but it wasnt, and too cold to swim so we went in the lukewarm jacuzzi. Worked for us but some expecting it hot might be disappointed. The water was cloudy too. Couldn't get hot water in the sink at the room at all, but shower was hot. It didn't drain well so we stood in inches of water for showers. There was a gross perfume smell coming from vent in bathroom anytime we turned on the light. The door to the room stuck so bad we had to bodyslam it to open it a few times. Barely enough towels so asked for more but by the time they came we had made due without them. No blackout curtains so the room was bright all night long. I had booked for the cute feel of the hotel and the flowers and gardens, but in person it was underwhelming. Maybe a different time of year would have more of the flowers shown in the pictures, but the gardens were a quick walk around, couldnt walk through or really spend time there. I thought I booked garden view but got parking lot view. It did feel clean and safe and the breakfast was better than expected, had some hot food options. Definitely won't be staying there again.

Nice and clean, quiet ,room was very clean and quiet.

I tried changing to a different room, but they didn't have anymore of my room type on the 1st floor which I needed. So I just cleaned everything myself. Rooms are thin and kids above us were running and jumping late, way past 11pm. When I called the front desk at 11:40pm to see if they could help me with this, the kids only got louder for about another hour, only to start jumping and running again early the next morning. Beds are hard and sheets are stiff and scratchy. I was in building C so not sure if these issues are just with this building which is not the ones pictured with the garden view.

I’ve stayed in this hotel for years and it’s really showing its age. There are broken pieces of wood everywhere, it looks like it’s kind of falling apart. Not sure why they don’t update and fix all the broken pieces. They keep it really clean, which I appreciate.

I had high hopes for this stay based on reviews. Although it is a non-smoking hotel, my room smelled heavily of cigarette smoke, the fridge did not work and the closet doors were broken, as well. The staff was very friendly and families seemed to be having a good time at the pool. If my room was in better shape it would have been a much nicer stay.

Upon arrival, room was ready but short on towels. Office was more than happy to provide additional towels. During our stay the cleaning staff did an excellent job. Free breakfast has very good options to satisfy a hungry traveler.

The grounds were lovely, it was nice to sit in the garden to eat breakfast

The first room bordering the highway was musty and loud. Felt like a dungeon. We changed after one night to the garden area. The rooms are in BAD need of cleaning or remodeling!! I could not sleep because of the musty smell and drab surroundings. We ended up fulfilling our stay agreement. But I will never stay here again unless I see that they have remodeled and got rid of the nasty carpet. The air conditioning just did not have a filtering system to get out the MOLD smell. It’s so sad the exterior is well kept and the interior is nasty.

The person who checked me in was polite and professional. The room was older showing signs of wear and tear like a cracked sink and a refrigerator that could not be turned on because the knob was broken. After calling the front desk, they quickly sent a worker who resolved the problem. The bad part was checking out. The woman working the desk had no name tag so I can only give a physical description of her, I believe an Indian, very short and not helpful. Instead of trying to solve a problem she was rude and asked me "What do you expect me to do about that??" It's just not something that qualified customer service workers say to clients. I'm not sure if I will return.

Love the separate freezer section of refer since we had frozen items. Very convenient to stores . We have stayed here several times and will return.

Rooms are a little dated but not bad. Very clean, and I like the garden view rooms. They provide breakfast, but I haven't taken advantage of it yet, so I can't comment. There are plenty of restaurants close by and shopping. The freeway is also close and plenty of onsite parking.

not too far for daily beach trips but much more reasonable price. my service animal was welcome. no pets. the pool and hot tub work and so does a sauna. it is a proper wood panel sauna. the hotel grounds themselves are quite nice but you are surrounded by a freeway and next door to a liquor store and chick-fil-a. all in all a good deal at my price.
