It was clean and felt safe. The staff were helpful and seemed genuinely concerned about their guests.

The gated parking was a plus. The need for those gates not a plus (nearby area seemed somewhat sketchy) providing the secure parking is appreciated. Location was ideal and convenient, room was clean and adequate. We will definitely stay here again. It is located in a beautiful area scenery-wise.

We didn't expect the breakfast to be much better than all the other places that we stayed, but it was. Overall a very nice place and we will stay there again next time we are in the area.

Staff is absolutely AMAZING. They are attentive and kind. Breakfast was good (egg, fruit salad, cereal, pastries, bacon or sausage and more). Hotel is near the hwy, downtown and stores. The pool was closed for maintenance, wish we would have known that ahead of time. Otherwise our experience was great. We'd stay here again.

The room was big enough for us to throw up a pack n play for our 1 year old. It was clean and everyone was friendly!

(The in-room coffee was the same way, like a weak cup of tea.) We stayed there three nights and had their breakfast only the first morning. We went out to restaurants the next two mornings.

We really enjoy this hotel. It is close to the temple, the rooms are nice and the staff is always very friendly. We have stayed here many times and will continue to do so.

That was very nice. Appreciated that. Had to reboot the TV 3 times, get down on my knees under the desk to unplug and replug. FOX NEWS Channel was intermittent. (The only channel I watched!). Hair blower provided in room was weird, could not open the handle to use it, another one was provided. Worked okay. Wish Breakfast was served to 9:30am. I missed it the first morning by 15 minutes and all the food was gone. Not able to even get a piece of fruit!

Nice room

Plan on hearing everything happening in the other rooms and hallways. Paper thin walls. Big hotel and put next door to family with small crying children all night. Not a good experience. Breakfast was not great either.

I love the included breakfast, and the staff is top-notch. I have a guide dog, and they were very helpful as we learned to navigate the parts of the hotel we needed to know. This has become my go-to hotel when I visit this area, which I do every six months or so for medical reasons. _Very highly recommended!

Everything about this hotel was 5 star. Nicely laid out, staff was excellent, breakfast superior, pristine clean, nicely decorated. Highly recommend.

There is not a hot tub even though expedia listing says it does. Otherwise excellent hotel. Breakfast had really good variety and better than most free breakfasts at hotels.

Super clean room, excellent front desk attendant, nice bathroom. Everything was very nice. Loved having a fridge. It was extremely quiet!

Very clean quiet room

One of the better Marriott’s around Portland and lake Oswego. Really nice staff very professional and a good selection of snacks like hasten dasz ice creams and some artesian salami/cheese rolls, a few different flavors of Celsius and all kinds of stuff. The room layouts are great with big windows that open all the way up, not just 2” so you get a ton of fresh air. And the area is quiet at night. I always sleep really well here.

A few more things in the weight room would be nice

We left our room at 8:30am and we returned at 6pm with the room not serviced.

We loved the comfortable bed and the hearty breakfast. The hotel was quiet even though the parking lot was always full. We did not receive any visits from the housekeeping staff during the 3 days we were there, and the garbages were piling up. It would have been nice if they had come through more often to check on things.

The room we were give was directly below the kitchen. I had requested a different room when we checked and and they said that there was nothing else avaialble. Starting at 4:00am it was very noisy. When I spoke with the. people at the desk they told me that there was nothing that they could do to refund any. money or help me because I booked through Expedia. They offered me a free snack from the shop. Sorry-- a granola bar does not make up for hours of lost sleep.

Plenty of breakfast options

This hotel was our go to when going to Lake Oswego. We always loved staying here but they changed the mattresses in every room to a very soft mattress. My wife and I slept horrible and awoke with lower back pain. I hate to write a negative review but it is what it is. Other than this factor this an excellent hotel in every way.

This hotel was very clean and the staff was friendly and professional. If i am ever in the area again, i would definitely stay here. I did not visit them , but there were several restaurants in the area.

The property is surrounded by trees and one parking lot. For a hotel near the highway, it was very quiet. There are a few restaurants within walking distance. I really liked our window shade that allowed light into the room but had a beautiful picture of trees vs looking out at the bldg. and parking lot.

This was a wonderful place to stay for an overnight trip to Lake Oswego for a wedding. The staff was very friendly. The place was spotlessly clean and quiet. Would definitely stay here again.

Lovely, lovely staff. Nice enough location. Unfortunately the walls are paper thin and every single word, breath, and toilet flush from all rooms above, below, and adjacent to the room were heard in excruciating detail at 4am.

All of the staff here were so friendly! We used the gym a few times which was very clean and had everything you really need. Loved that there was a yogurt/oatmeal station with all different toppings + waffles for breakfast. The hotel is in a nice area, with a few restaurants + trader joes within walking distance. The room itself was good.. only complaint was the water pressure in the shower. Maybe it's just an Oregon hotel thing but it took a while to get the soap out.

Have stayed at this Fairfield several times now and it is consistently clean and well run. It is in a great neighborhood with many eating options very short walking distance. A lovely area!

This is my favorite place to stay when visiting the Portland area. Easy access to I5 but far enough off the freeway that you don’t hear the noise. Staff are exceptional. Rooms are nicely appointed.

Bed was not ideal for comfort, no sour cream available, clean, friendly, while working construction crew were present, they were clean and not disruptive.

By far the best hotel experience I have had in the Portland area. I have stayed in numerous hotels in the area and I have decided to make this my go to for business or personal trips. Check in was super fast and the person who checked me in was super friendly. The room was spacious, clean and it was so quiet I was able to leave the window open all night to enjoy the cool air. Got a great nights rest on a very comfy mattress. Breakfast was great as well. Not a single thing I would have changed about the stay. The hotel is undergoing a remodel so the front entrance was masked off but they have clear signage to let everyone know where to park and enter the building. I’ll be back!

The location, parking and availability of restaurants in walking distance was great. The hotel was under construction and some of the areas were quit hot but i attributed that to the construction. Overall I had a good experience.

Clean and in good condition room., Lake Oswego downtown was very nice. The only thing is that we had some noise from the main floor (furnaces or other some other stuff) we were in the second floor. Breakfast was ok but I suggest some improvement.

Couch had some dead bugs under cushions when tried to turn to bed. Pool is good but no floaties for kids. Decent breakfast.

Thin walls, can hear the room next to yours, no hot tub, no onsite restaurant or lounge, continental breakfast is not very desirable

From the moment we walked in, we felt comfortable and welcome. This hotel is in a convenient location,but it is also quiet and serene, with lots of trees and flowers in the area. I like that guests can open windows to let in fresh air. The beds are comfortable. William at the front desk was super helpful. Another woman (I don't remember her name) was very kind when we spilled ice and helped us clean it up. We were greeted every time we entered. I would stay here again when I visit Portland/Lake Oswego!
