Reviews
The hotel staff is consistently praised for their exceptional service and kindness. The rooms are generally clean, comfortable, and spacious, with some reviews mentioning suite-style accommodations. However, there are recurring issues with room readiness upon check-in, double charging, and problems with the pool. Some guests also express dissatisfaction with the breakfast offerings.

The staff was extremely helpful with check in. Breakfast was good love that they have a waffle machine. The room was clean and overall a great experience. Make sure to check out the Dutch bros I recommended walking there and hanging out in their lobby. :)
- 3/5
Large rooms with kitchenette facilities and easy onsite parking. Staff were not the friendliest and the shower and sink water pressure were extremely low, it was just a drip in the bathroom sink.
- 4/5
The hotel was nice newly remodeled, front dest worker was new but very friendly and helpful. When we booked the room it showed a hot tub but it had been taken out.
- 3/5
Everything was good at check-in And everything appeared clean and tidy. They put us in a room number 211 Right by the elevators and there is no insulation With that door so we heard everybody coming and going and every time the elevator dinged Period The breakfast buffet was poorly stocked and had these slowest one person working the "amenities". The dirty dishes and the trash were literally overflowing on the small area they designate that for. They had ran out of plates, the food was running out and people were waiting, meanwhile there is a girl at the front desk with her phone up in front of her face doing nothing that we watched for some time continuing to be on her phone.

We stayed here May 29 and 30th. It was clean, comfortable, and quiet. There were 3 of us, the hotel was packed, and we always had hot water for showers. I would definitely recommend and will stay there again on my next trip to Denver. The coffee was always fresh and hot. We did not have the breakfast, but it smelled delicious!
- 5/5
Very nice place - would be happy to stay there again.
- 4/5
The room was perfect. Our only complaint was the breakfast, which was sparse. Some of The pastries were pre made and wrapped, full of chemicals, not edible. There was no yogurt. The juice was not refreshed, mostly apple, not enough orange. Apparently, the very polite kitchen worker was overwhelmed. There was one bagel 40 minutes before closing, never refreshed. The next morning 15 minutes after opening, there was one bagel!! There were 3 half and half containers for a hotel with at least 60 rooms, deplorable for a Hilton property. Please take these comments to heart; Hilton was always my favorite. Can you help out your staff at 139 Union St. in Lakewood/Denver so I can stay there again; 3 minutes from my daughter?
- 5/5
Great breakfast. New breakfast every day. Friendly staff. Nice rooms.
- 4/5
Very good
- 4/5
Location was good. The hotel was next to many trails and businesses. Rooms were spacious and clean. The whole flow of the hotel room was what was pictured too! I’d stay again.
- 3/5
This was my third Homewood Suites I have stayed at this month. This was one that had a little less amenities and overall quality but was still a good stay. Things were clean, there was breakfast included. However, the shop did not carry as many things as I am used to and the amenities in the room were not there (i.e. toothpaste, etc.).
- 3.5/5
Good location for Red Rocks concert Bathroom sink water didn’t work (dribbled). We changed rooms and that one didn’t work either, same problem. We went to the desk and they said no one else had reported the problem, but what are the odds that the two rooms we were in were the only ones having the problem? There seemed to be a little bit of a lack of motivation to solve it by two of the desk people.

The Carpet in our room was filthy. It had some type of gum or chocolate. Also look Very Old. The grout in the tile was breaking right at the main entrance, found some garbage under the bed, the Lady in charge of breakfast was a little bit rude, the elevator was also not working properly the whole time we were there. Our room number was 311.
- 4/5
Breakfast was very mediocre. The rest of the stay was fine
- 5/5
Everything was perfect except the shower. Wouldn't get very hot and had very low water pressure.

Breakfast was pretty good, coffee was always made a little weak but I prefer a stronger cup of Joe. Room was clean. Slightly weird set up with the wall switches, and the water wasn't very powerful but overall a very nice stay. My only complaint really was when we booked they said they had a hot tub in their listing. There was no hot tub on site. All the staff was very friendly. Would stay again if we had to be in the area.
- 1/5
Air conditioning in our room did not work and it was 95 out the day we were there. Hotel staff came up to the room, confirmed it didn't work and asked if we could "deal with it". I told them no and we wanted a new room. The said the hotel was full and there were no other rooms. There was no manager on duty that weekend but we were told the manager would contact us the following Monday. 10 days later and I still haven't heard anything. I have tried contacting the hotel and I have still not heard back. Kids went to look at the pool and it was swamp green, could not even see the bottom and had clumps of something floating in it. Hot tub had been paved over since our last stay. Overall the hotel felt like it has been completely neglected for months. We will not be staying here ever again.
- 2/5
The internet uses your last name and room number, mine didn’t work, we couldn’t connect any devices to the WiFi. The front desk worker could not bothered to help, she even walked away from me to make tea. It was never resolved after repeated attempts to reach a manager. I’ve never been treated less hospitably by a hotel employee We had the room next to an outdoor basketball court and kids were playing a full loud game at 2:45AM despite that area closing at 10. Again, the hotel employees could not be bothered.
- 2.5/5
Dirty pool. FILTHY dining area and kitchen, breakfast was completely unappetizing.
- 5/5
Clean rooms, good breakfast, friendly staff.
- 5/5
Room was clean and well maintained. Great breakfast area.
- 5/5
Good location.
- 1/5
The staff didn’t treat me well they charged me twice on my credit card even though I showed them repeatedly that I paid for the room the front desk person still ran my card, the other desk person reversed the transaction but I didn’t have access to those funds till the next day, the shower didn’t work the pin to pull for the shower was disconnected and it seemed that way for some time had to take a bath was awful. Also the room promised was shown to be a two queen bed but only had one bed, would not stay here again
- 5/5
No microwave, floor was dirty

Location Manager still almost a week later still hasn't called. Room was not ready > had to put my own bedding on bed & only had 2 flat pillows for me & hub so meaning we only had 1 flat pillow. Again management has yet to call super disappointed ?

Enjoyed our stay and have stayed at this location in the past. Hotel is clean and very nice. They have added an option of draft beer and wine, which was a fun addition. Only issue, the night desk clerk was under 21 and would not load card so we could partake in this option. Even the day staff was surprised as it was only a card they had to update and not actually serve the drinks. Bit disappointed in that.
- 3/5
We did not get housekeeping service, the blow dryer was broken in the room and half of the time the front desk people were nice-some were kind of rude or on their phones.
- 4/5
Breakfast could use some improvement.
- 5/5
Exceptional
- 4.5/5
Staff was awesome and very friendly and helpful. The elevators scared me. They would rock when stopping on the 4th floor.

The evening Hors d'oeuvres with beer and wine were amazing. The manager, the lady with the German accent, front desk. Everyone very attentive. We were staying at the downtown location and decided to leave and go to this property on a new reservation and it was the best choice.

This was our first time here, but we'll be back! It's very convenient to where we need to go in Colorado, and the staff are wonderful!!
- 5/5
Great proximity to Red Rocks Amp.
- 5/5
We liked everything about the day! It was super clean. The staff was amazing.
- 1/5
Never got a room
- 3/5
Overall, it was a decent stay. The main issue was that we were there from Friday to Monday, and housekeeping never came to our room a single time to tidy, make the bed, or provide fresh towels. The hotel advertises service every other day, which would have been fine (even though with the price point, daily housekeeping would be expected), but not coming in at all during the entire stay was disappointing. All we ask is that the hotel follow through on the expectations it sets for guests.
- 5/5
Great location.
- 5/5
Very friendly staff; clean room and perfect size for our family
- 5/5
Staff was very friendly
- 5/5
The hotel was clean and we felt very safe. All of the staff that we encountered, from front desk to housekeeping, was friendly and helpful. The beds were comfortable.
- 5/5
Very clean. Nice room.
- 5/5
The room was very clean, modern and spacious. Breakfast was great and had a wide variety of foods to choose from.
- 3/5
Staff was very helpful and kind. Only complaint was that we were there three nights and the room was never cleaned.
- 5/5
The location was very convenient for us.
- 5/5
Noon checkout and close to Resturants
- 5/5
Staff was very friendly and accommodating!
- 5/5
This property was very clean and service was great. The only issue was on Expedia site the facility stated there was a hot tub and there is not a hot tub at this location.
- 3/5
The site says pool and spa, there is no hot tub. That sucked to find out after hiking all day. BOOOOOOO! GET A HOT TUB!
- 5/5
Clean, friendly staff, nice sized rooms!
- 5/5
A beautiful young lady (Sarah) at the front desk greeted us with a warm smile EVERYTIME we saw her. She answered our many questions and told us about all the events in the hotel. Another young lady at the front desk recommended lookout mountain for us and we had an amazing adventure there. Ms. Wilma gave us great insight about Denver and was very welcoming. Jacob was accommodating and his mom gave a nice spread and smile at every breakfast. It was our first trip to Denver and the staff made it extra special and we appreciate it. Thank you It was also nice to see my name on the TV screen. LOL. The kids got a kick out of it.
- 5/5
Clean and new. Very spacious. Staff are helpful
- 5/5
We reserved a suite with 3 beds for 6 adults and when tying to check in hey didn’t have that suite but offered us initially a room with a king, a pull out sofa bed and blankets for the floor. Uh nope! Staff and manager quickly found us 2 rooms so that only one couple slept on pull out and no one was on floor. Comp’ed us the room and gave us sodas and let us check in early. Staff was kind and calm and we figured out an acceptable solution together. Kudos to the team!!! Kindness wins every time!
- 3/5
Booked for a night since I was traveling in the area and my kid wanted to go swimming. Advertised as having a hot tub, but they removed it during a remodel. The pool is heated but was freezing, so much so my kid started shivering immediately and got out. The room also had a slow shower drain, and upon reporting it they didn’t write it down or take any noticeable action.
- 5/5
Wonderful staff especially behind the counter and this is really what sets this property apart. The rooms were really nice as well. Also the breakfast was not just an after thought. They prepared a great breakfast with many choices. Kudos to the cleaning crew as well! The staff worked really hard to make our stay great even though our vacation turned into a hospital stay for my wife because of the altitude in other parts of Colorado.
- 5/5
Location is convenient to restaurants and other entertainment. Lobby and surrounding areas are clean. The suite is spacious and the kitchen was a plus and had everything needed for a longer stay. Bathroom was clean. Only complaint, pictures showed that hotel had a hot tub, which we were expecting to use. No HOT TUB! Need to erase from pictures. Breakfast had a good variety of food items.
- 5/5
clean, comfdortable
- 5/5
We really enjoyed the breakfast, and the suite was wonderful!
- 4/5
Hotel was nice. The room was great clean and comfy. The breakfast was good. We were disappointed when we arrived to find the lobby & first floor under construction. We had reserved this hotel due to the hot tub for my husband's back injury. Unfortunately, the hot tub, pool, and fitness room were closed. They said they notified people on their website, but we reserved through Hotels.com and were never notified.
- 1/5
I paid for a 6 person room to be notified at the time of check in that room was not available. The only 1 room that was available sleeps 3 people.
- 5/5
This place is very nice, even though it is under a remodel job. Our room was just freshly remodeled. Very nice!
- 4/5
The property was being updated which is wonderful but we probably would have stayed elsewhere if we had known. Our room was brand new and perfectly clean. We walked one block and had dinner at a delightful tap room and grill. Overall it was a good stay.
- 4/5
Even during remodeling, it was quiet! Yes we heard construction noises but not what it could’ve been! Wouldn’t hesitate to book here again!
- 5/5
Great stopover location on the way to ski

Very nice with large rooms. Cleaner than other nearby properties we previously visited. Will choose again next visit.
- 5/5
It was a very nice stay.
- 5/5
Just wonderful. Thankyou
- 4/5
The property was located conveniently for us between family.
- 4/5
Hard to get to and find.
- 5/5
Great staff
- 2/5
This property is very run down for a homewood. This is the first time I’ve ever complained to management about the physical condition of my room and property. Manager stated that there is a complete remodel coming next year.
- 4/5
Staff very friendly. Place was clean and organzied.
- 4/5
The towels were plentiful in the rooms, and the refrigerator in the double queens suite was clean and cold. For guests not familiar with this hotel, note that the fitness room and pool/hot tub are on the lowest level (Floor 1) with the lobby being on floor 2. (I prefer the fitness room being on the main level as the lobby and dining area.) The hot tub and pool were both operational and clean; plenty of towels available. The fitness room is adjacent to the pool room, seoarated by glass windows with treadmills, elliptical machine and stationary bike facing the pool area.
- 4/5
This hotel may have had one of the best hotel breakfast we have ever had! It included veggies, salsas and fresh berries on certain days. There were a few issues with our stove and safe not working, however maintenance was available and fixed what they could right away. I do wish they had a few more items in their kitchen for cooking but we made it work. I liked the small extras such as the puzzle in the foyer we each got some pieces on and it was very close to downtown Denver, Golden, Red Rocks and anything we wanted to access.
- 5/5
Great room great staff from receptionist to kitchen staff. Very friendly and all smiles. Kitchen staff worked at keeping breakfast full and eating area clean. I am a raving fan for this hotel. Best breakfast i have eaten since travelling for past two months. Thank you
- 4/5
Rioms were loud, shower heads did not have much pressure. Safes did not work Staff was very nice. Maintenance did assist with safe, but it was ready to be replaced and you could not change the code...

All was good
- 5/5
Homewood Suites are always predictable: they are clean and well maintained, staff is always willing to go the extra mile, and the beds are so comfortable!
- 1/5
Their front desk will not talk to anyone who booked through a third-party website. I'm working with Hotels.com to be refunded, but will probably never choose the 'pay at the hotel' option again, and will definitely not be staying with Homewood Suites again.
- 4/5
We only spent one night at hotel following a concert at Red Rocks. The suites were very roomy and comfortable. We were there so briefly but I would definitely book again if in the area.

- 5/5
We love staying at the Homewood suites! The service is always great and the staff is always very friendly.
- 5/5
The breakfast was awesome! Room was a nice size for our family of 5 and staff was very friendly and attentive
- 1/5
Booked on here and when we got to hotel they never received our reservation and we paid for it, but stayed in the car instead.
- 4/5
Amazing breakfast, pet friendly. Laundry room for personal use and both pool and hour tub(could be a bit warmer) The only complaint I would have is not on the hotel itself but on its neighboring business Wells Fargo who has an adjacent parking lot that backs up to the hotels courtyard in the back of their building by the pool and we were given permission by the hotel staff when we checked in to park over there and come Monday when we were trying to get checked out and take our belongings to our truck a rental car from Wells Fargo proceeded to try and intimidate and harass not only my husband but myself into threats of he was going to have our vehicle towed and started cussing at us and it became a real downer on what had been a great trip at this hotel
- 5/5
Modern design, comfortable rooms, spacious showers, roomy kitchen, useful sitting area, very good hot breakfast. Liked this hotel a lot.
- 5/5
Cozy
- 3/5
It’s an older property, staff is amazing. The hallways smell, the room is very outdated. We stood in the second floor for 4 days and the people on top were extremely loud.
- 5/5
The staffs are friendly and helpful overall. We checked in and interacted with the night-time receptionist Ms. Summer several times and she provided us exceptional and beyond expectation customer service. I hope this is the model of staffs or such good culture can persist in the staffs. The continental breakfast is great, sufficient and enough variety of choices. Containers are almost never empty. Things are organized clean and neatly. This save us time for hunting breakfast cold outside. Great job to the kitchen staffs! This is for sure an important factor for some travelers like us when picking a mid-tier hotel stay. The property, fixtures, furniture and so on do show their age. This is important to note, so it may not best fit those chasing after newest, latest and the most modern room/suite. However, giving the age of those "hardware", I can see this property gives and tries their best effort to keep up the condition. At least they are neat, tidy and clean. The property is located pretty west of Denver, great location or almost the closest one still in Denver for traveling to the ski areas/resorts in the west. This is one of the reason we picked this property as well. We like the breakfast, friendly staffs, location and comfortable space of the suite. The carpet, fixtures and furniture if can be replaced/upgraded, that will make it even better! We will pick this property in the future if we can.
- 5/5
We've stayed here many times and enjoyed it. Extremely friendly staff, and clean rooms.
- 5/5
clean and spacious
- 1/5
The room had a horrifying smell! Old moldy.. carpet was gross and old. Fire alarm went off at 6 am total inconvenience. I actually thought I made reservations at home 2 suits.. total mistake
- 5/5
Staff was very friendly and helpful, very clean and comfortable. Great breakfast and nice indoor pool to enjoy. Would definitely stay again.
- 5/5
Friendly and helpful staff - excellent room - weird parking and confusing navigation to get around all the parking lots in the dark.
- 3/5
Pillows need to be replaced.
- 1/5
Hotels.com overbooked stays and I didn't get what I requested/needed for my stay. I chose a two queen handicap accessible room for myself, my 9y/o son and my brother who has a prosthesis which is why I needed it to be accessible. We were only there for a Rugby game and arrived late, to receive a King bed that didn't even have a sofa in it. I was told it was the last room and by that time I was not going to drive around looking for a room at midnight. They offered me a dirty room, would change bedding, yeah NO. The three of us had to sleep on one bed bc the floor was too uncomfortable for my little guy...... Won't be using this site again. I had even called another hotel directly earlier in the day to make sure they had accessible rooms, they didn't which is why I went here for the comparisons...

The staff was professional and did a great job.

The staff were incredibly nice and accommodating. Our room was quiet and clean.

I was charged at the hotel, but the room was already paid for. "Veronica" tried to fix it, but, I was still charged. I sure hope this gets fixed soon. The room itself was nice, clean.
- 5/5
Nice stay.
- 4/5
My traveling companion cleaned some gross stains on the couch before she could stay. the room was dated but functional. full size fridge was nice. The Chicago Pizza bar is just a short walk and very nice. The whirlpool tub is at temp and relaxing. pool is small and shallow but clean & nice. the location is kind of odd but easily accessible once you figure out where it is.
- 5/5
Wonderful!
- 5/5
The Shower would only get Hot. Was very hard to shower in very hot water
- 5/5
Convenient access to Denver and suburbs. Hotel was clean with a nice pool and hot tub. Convenient to RedRocks park, Dino ridge, natural science and natural history museums. Easy access to airport. Staff was helpful. Clean and quiet.
- 5/5
It was a great stay and the people at the front desk were amazing. Julie checked us in really early and then when we came back from the zoo her and Elizabeth were awesome in helping us though a difficult situation.
- 4/5
We liked the room except for the bathroom sink that would not drain. Good water pressure in the shower, very clean room, breakfast was good. Clean throughout the hotel. We will definitely be back.
- 5/5
Super nice! Perfect breakfast gourmet style! Always serving fresh coffee , water and tea! Swimming pool cold, but hot tub relaxed
