Reviews
Guests have mixed feelings about the hotel, with some praising the staff, cleanliness, and location, while others express disappointment with the condition of the rooms, lack of amenities, and poor service. The restaurant service is generally well-regarded, but the breakfast buffet is overpriced and underwhelming for some.
- Friendly and helpful staff
- Clean rooms and property
- Worn and damaged rooms
- Overpriced and disappointing breakfast buffet
- 4/5
Everyone & everything was great except for being misled about breakfast being included. Saying "amenities include" & having breakfast listed under that was not what happened. We went down to breakfast & were informed that only people who paid full price for the room could get their breakfast included. Rooms paid for at a discount meant meant each person would need to pay $21.99/person to eat breakfast. Misleading advertising & welcome email re: the breakfast.

I ended up having to drive 2 hours to be able to check her in and make an unplanned stay overnight because their rules are not clearly stated. No matter how nice a hotel, if they can’t clearly state their rules, and are unsympathetic to situations like this, they don’t deserve my business. I do NOT recommend this hotel and will not be using them again.

EXCELLENT
- 4/5
Make sure you check with the hotel what amenities are not available due to “full property” transformation. We were looking forward to enjoying the pool only to get informed the day before our check in that the pool was not available. A little too late for me to cancel (and get my full refund back) and book elsewhere. Bad timing on the management to schedule maintenance when a a major concert was going to happen a couple of minutes away, and that was one of the many reasons we booked with Sheraron Denver West. I do have to give kuddos to Christina, the Customer Service Manager at this location for helping me on an issue during my stay.

The lobby and bar were amazing. The rooms look like they had been partially updated. Bathroom was nice but needed new paint. Headboards were very scratched up. Some of the linens didn’t appear clean, but overall it was

Staff was very helpful
- 4/5
The property is slowly being upgraded, but the rooms we were given were in good condition just a little bit worn. We stayed there to attend a red rocks concert in the location was very convenient. The stuff was very friendly.

Stays here are always peaceful.
- 1/5
we got catfished. the pictures shown were NOT like what we saw in person. we had popcorn ceiling, chewed up pieces on my headboard, cold water, ac broken, wall was falling apart, 1916 carpet.
- 5/5
I stayed Friday through Sunday and check-in was easy and quick. The room was clean and spacious but the bed wasn't the most comfortable, probably because I prefer a more firm mattress. The bar staff was great and so was the front desk with the exception of one man. He seemed a bit rude when I asked him questions and I unfortunately cannot remember his name. Otherwise, everyone was great and even thoughIl I was told the hotel was under renovations, I never noticed any mess or noise.
- 5/5
Great stay. Very nice staff.
- 3/5
The first impression was actually great — the hotel lobby looked beautiful, smelled clean, and had a welcoming atmosphere. It gave the impression of a well-maintained and upscale hotel. However, things quickly changed after that. The parking situation was frustrating. The garage has large columns placed between spaces, which makes parking difficult and tight. For a hotel with 10 floors, there simply doesn’t seem to be enough parking available, especially during busy times. We stayed on the seventh floor, and the hallway appearance was disappointing. There were exposed pipes running through the ceiling, which made the area feel unfinished and poorly maintained. It definitely took away from the overall experience. Once inside the room, the first thing we noticed was the condition of the headboards. The peeling and damaged material made the room look worn out and neglected. I’ve stayed at other Sheraton hotels before and they’ve always felt clean, modern, and well cared for, so this was surprising. Unfortunately, the maintenance at this location seems to be lacking. We also decided not to try the breakfast because the overall appearance of the hotel after seeing the hallways and room did not make it appealing to us. Overall, the lobby creates a great first impression, but the condition of the hallways and rooms did not meet the standards I normally expect from a Sheraton property.
- 4/5
Water was leaking from underneath the shower door, but overall a great stay.
- 5/5
Great place to stay and be close to everything you want to do.
- 5/5
Hotel is 10-15 mins from anything you want to go to. Prefect location in the middle of everything.
- 5/5
Very clean and staff was very helpful
- 2/5
Our impression entering the hotel was clean and modern. However, it ended there. The elevator was beat-up. The hallways were clean and fresh, but you can see exposed pipes and peeling walls. Entering the room, it was also clean, but the same outdated and patched walls. No fan/blower in the bathroom. Low shower pressure but lots of pressure from the sink. No microwave was a bummer. The bed was soft, clean, and nice and cushy. I like how they provided two luggage racks. There was no free continental Breakfast. But the staff did help my son warmup up his leftovers, bison sandwich from the day before. There was no pool, out of service for renovation. I wish they let us know that during the booking. Otherwise, it was a convenient location near the RTD station.
- 5/5
Beautiful from the moment you step into the building. Easy to get to and easy to get around. Parking was a little annoying but nothing crazy.
- 4/5
I asked the front desk the first morning after arriving the previous night to have someone fix the shower curtain rod. It was not fulfilled my entire 5 day stay. The rod was installed upside down therefore water was getting all over the bathroom floor because the shower curtain would not close. It gathered in the middle of the rod. It is supposed to hold the curtain away from the inside of the shower if installed properly. I shouldn’t have to repeatedly ask for it to be fixed. The front desk clerk wrote everything down. I did say something again when I checked out, Hopefully it was fixed for the next guest.

Disappointing
- 4/5
Clean room , newly renovated lobby , self parking at no charge , friendly staff , no free breakfast
- 5/5
Convenient location. Great Mexican restaurant across the street. Great bartender.
- 4/5
staff was amazing. super helpful! now the room, very old and run down. There was a weird smell in the bathroom, especially after using the shower. the furniture in there just seemed to be a mis-match of random stuff. The TV on a desk? overall a decent stay.
- 3/5
Everyone was great besides the bathroom toilet not flushing properly, had to flush it about 3-4 times for it all to go down but parking and room was great
- 5/5
Rooms were clean. Bed was comfy and the shower was hot.

keep up the good work. I will stay there again

We checked into the room however, we found out some basic facilities lacking at the hotel. Also, we were given a room with the bed that was not maintained and it was damaged on the headboard side. Although it was two queen bed in one room so we managed however, i felt that definitely that room needed some serious upgrade and maintenance given we were paying good amount for just a night stay, it should be no less that appropriate if not best!!! IMO They should not let guests check-in into that room unless it’s fixed..
- 4/5
Our room was adequate- not great- plumbing/drain noises during the night woke us from sleep. The hotel is only partially renovated (e.g., lobby); the rooms are in need.

Breakfast was not included and we did not try the restaurant. The room was nice and could have been a little cleaner, but was way better than another hotel i. the

The bedding leaves a lot to be desired. The fitted sheet did not fit the entire mattress and wadded up underneath me while sleeping. The mattress cover was lumpy.
- 4/5
Front desk personnel were top notch, didn't get here name but young lady that check me in was exceptional on Sunday 5/10/26. Location perfect for all of spots I needed to a see and attend. Did feel safe in the area and parking
- 3/5
The room was extremely out dated. Room 415 was anyway. I’m talking maybe late 70’s. Wall paper coming off the wall and you can tell the bed is used A LOT as the headboard are completely worn out. Lots of folks banging their heads on it. Just very, very outdated. A big disappointment for a Sheraton. The parking has insulation coming out of the ceiling and for 22.00 a person, the breakfast buffet was worse than the free ones you get at cheap hotels. Thanks for listening.

Big rooms- I love the hallway entrance especially when sharing a room because the bathroom is small. Lots of mirrors and gorgeous mountain views. Best part is close to Red Rocks! Beautiful renovations underway! Privacy - you can't use the elevator without a key card No room service menu

Lobby and bar were nice. The room was very dated and the bathroom was gross .the headboard looked like a cat scratched it. Bathroom looked like my grandma got inspired from a 90’s Olive Garden. The shower head looks like it’s from 1991. The hose starting getting a large bubble in it like it was about to blow. There were gross gloops of something dripping down the inside of the shower curtain. $140 a night typically donesnt even use shower curtains. Usually for that price you have a nice bathroom with glass. Gross bathroom. HVAC return was Jerry rigged with exposed torx screws and exposed wood that wasn’t even painted . Very trashy construction. Something you would see at a run down super 8. Room didn’t have a microwave. Had to request one and then there wasn’t anywhere to put it. Breakfast was overpriced. $20 a person for the standard continental that is always free at other hotels. Catfished.

Great location
- 5/5
Everything about the property was great, staff and food and drinks all great.
- 2/5
At checking, the front desk staff assigned me to a room that was already occupied. This is the one, unrecoverable error that a hotel can never commit. Also the facility is under renovation to varying degrees depending on the area of the building.
- 3/5
Staff were friendly and helpful, room was clean, not nearly enough USB ports, monitoring the room about the hotel and the room was hot and stuffy. The thermostat is locked so I couldn’t cool the room. The front desk sent maintenance and they dropped it by one degree. Old pillows - lumpy
- 4/5
Breakfast is expensive on site, but there are other good options nearby and good lunch/dinner restaurants in the area. Refrigerator in room. Shower water pressure was not great. (8th floor?)

I Loved my room it had microwave and a fridge LOVED IT. I was snowboarding for the week so that was definitely a plus for me I WILL STAY HERE AGAIN FOR THIS SPECIFIC REASON . NOT All rooms have a microwave I WOULD like for ALL rooms to have them (FRIDGE AND MICROWAVE) Friends of mine did not have a microwave so that was a bummer for them. Please hook up all the rooms with that combo
- 5/5
The mountain view was beautiful. We were sad the pool was closed for renovation but, no one was to disappointed.
- 4/5
A lot of work being done on building but all in all a great stay
- 4/5
We were disappointed that swimming pool area was being remodeled and not in use. We wish we would have known before booking room.
- 3/5
The place is a bit dated. Additionally, I specifically chose this hotel because of their indoor pool. When I checked in, I found out that it was under renovation. That should have been clearly visible upon booking!
- 5/5
Despite the hotel having construction I was really impressed by this place. The room was comfy and clean. The staff was amazing. I paid extra for the breakfast and was glad I did as it was good. The staff person in there was extremely helpful. I like my mountain view from the 10th floor. Parking was really easy to find and the area has a tonne of dining options. My neighbors were loud at first but as it became night the hotel was as quiet as can be. I will be staying here again.
- 4/5
Besides housekeeping knocking on the door st 930 am asking if we were checking out today was diabolical...when check out was noon. we were happy with the visit
- 5/5
Great customer service
- 2/5
On top of that, the pool was not working, which was another reason I chose this hotel. This was not communicated ahead of time. Very disappointing experience. If you advertise amenities like breakfast and a pool, they should be available or clearly disclosed before arrival. I would not have booked here otherwise.
- 5/5
Very nice remodeling nearing completion. The shower curtain rod was upside down. Very happy with the upgrade I got from the front desk.
- 4/5
Good enough
- 5/5
The staff was very nice and helpful. The room was quiet and very nice with a great view. ☺️
- 4/5
Good place to stay
- 5/5
The view was amazing and staying in the club level is well worth the extra fee. There is breakfast and a light meal in the evening everyday and complementary water, juice, pop, etc. Staff is alway pleasant and I really enjoyed my stay, again..
- 5/5
The room is nice and clean. Staffs are very accommodating!
- 5/5
This hotel has always been such a great stay for me . I can’t wait to spend time there with my fiancé.
- 5/5
Good staff
- 3/5
The property was great, but the older gal working the front desk was terribly rude to us, even after she gave us a room that already had guests in it.
- 5/5
Despite being under construction/remodeling, the service and the hotel are actually pretty good! It is a great hotel in Lakewood
- 4/5
Room clean. Bed comfortable. Carpets seem old and dirty. Especially in the hallways. Renovation going on for a new gathering place. So there was some construction happening. Free coffee but that’s it as far complimentary stuff. Location is ideal for many events and occasions. Hence renovating it is wise to bring it up to higher standards. Lots of restaurants nearby. Grocers as well. Good location. The overnight main desk staffer was pretty grumpy in the morning. Couldn’t wait to leave and his relief person was late so this made him even grumpier. Got all that info from me just saying “good morning “ to him. Otherwise staff was courteous.
- 3/5
Our checkin was not pleasant, the elderly lady asked me for my ID and then asked if I had my confirmation info, she said she couldn't find my reservation but when I had my confirmation she then said she found me. We asked her a few questions and we received a smug response. We were tired and didn't feel welcomed. Thank you

Quiet. No issues with my stay. Pleasant front desk and restaurant personnel.
- 5/5
The staff was helpful and friendly , the room was big and spacious, and awesome bathroom with amenities. I appreciate staying at this hotel . I wouldn’t mind staying there again .
- 4/5
All was good!
- 4/5
The room was ok, needed updating. They are currently going through remodeling - hoping it's for the rooms as well. Staff on Sunday and Monday morning was not friendly at all.
- 4/5
The staff was amazing. Although the hotel was still under construction, we enjoyed our stay.
- 3/5
Really that's terrible and it wasn't good at all
- 5/5
The room was perfect and the staff very polite specially Kevin from front desk he made our experience very pleasant and will likely be back!
- 5/5
They are wrapping up their construction, but never once was that an issue. Property was clean and quiet. Our room was perfect. 4 adults comfortably shared a 2 queen room. I will absolutely stay here again when I come to Lakewood.

Incorrect property description, this is not ski resort.
- 2/5
Booked a room during the holidays through a travel website and it did not mention the fact that the property was under major construction. I wish that had been disclosed. The front entrance was not usable, the parking garage was a mess and it wasn’t clear where to even enter the building. The walls in the rooms are unbelievably thin; I know because the guest in neighboring room kept the TV on all day and night, playing a range of shows from Christmas vacation to straight up porn. I asked to change rooms and they did move me to another floor. I asked the front desk on my third night if housekeeping could take out the trash and bring towels to my room. When I returned at the end of the day no one had come. I asked again and they did come the next day. The hotel overall is run-down, there are exposed wires along the hallway ceilings and on both floors 9 and 10 there was a faint raw sewage smell. There are dozens of hotels nearby- I should have looked around more.

- 4/5
We did not eat breakfast at the hotel. The parking and the hotel itself are pretty messed up with all the construction taking place.
- 3/5
Staff was great, room fine. Since it is under repairs it’s difficult to navigate the property. Even so, we are going again this week and staying. Sandy the bartender is awesome.
- 4/5
Room was nice and had a spectacular view of the mountains. However, rest of hotel is under a huge renovation so guests must use the service elevator and there isnt much lobby area to speak of. Did not realize this upon booking. Staff was friendly enough.
- 4/5
Hotel is under construction, but the stay was still pleasant enough. The rooms are a bit dated, but the bathroom was clean, and the bed was super comfortable (amazing pillows!). The desk staff are very friendly and responsive to issues. The lounge was pleasant and also courteously staffed. I was traveling with a pet and had no issues in that regard. Would definitely recommend this hotel over an AirBnB.
- 5/5
Staff friendly, property in the middle of updating. Hotel clean even with construction going on.
- 5/5
Excellent hotel
- 2/5
Still under construction which would be fine except on arrival we could see lobby was closed. Finally saw a sign on southwest corner - the opposite of new entrance.Have stayed here with my dogs multiple times without charge- suddenly now have $75 fee plus another $50 for misc. Next morning no sign on my floor for problems so took the main elevator to open to major construction- sign in lobby indicating service elevator but no further signs once you enter hallway. Where is it??? Our thermostat indicates not to adjust below 70 degrees so we were stifling then freezing. Shower has very little pressure so after the first shower we skipped it. All together not a pleasant stay. I’ve stayed here 5x and the past 2 have been like this. I will go elsewhere for #6
- 4/5
Housekeeping staff did a good job keeping our room clean and well supplied with towels, etc.
- 4/5
Property was being remodeled so it was a bit of a mess but when finished should be very nice. It is still a very convenient location and price is acceptable
- 3/5
Staff was very helpful, and efficient. The breakfast and room views were the highlight of our stay! A wonderful breakfast area freshly renovated, great eggs, and treats. But, unfortunately, I was disappointed with the quality of the room. Things were clean but, the hotel is old and under construction, The new renovations will be a great improvement. Thank you for caring.
- 5/5
Great staff, nice place.
- 3/5
Construction continues. Until it’s done, the hotel’s amenities are lacking and its usefulness is basically just a bed. And the beds are very well used.
- 2/5
Something was very off about this stay. The concierge front desk guy didn’t ask me for any information to check in.. he just handed me my key and said here ya go… that really raised an eyebrow for me..
- 5/5
Though the front of the hotel is undergoing a facelift, it was a nice place to stay. The customer service was good. I would stay here again.
- 3/5
Completely under construction
- 5/5
Great staff starting with Cristina at the front desk. Very thorough and professional and caring!! Then the bartenders Kathleen and Sandy. Made you feel welcome and great margarita!!
- 2/5
There was no signage indicating we would be charged for this low-quality food. The table was dirty, the offerings were typical buffet-style self serve scrambled eggs and pastries, and we could have walked across the street to Denny’s for far less—and better tasting. Completely overpriced and misleading.
- 5/5
We are staying because of proximity to the hospital. The staff is very friendly and courteous. There remodel maybe going on but there services are outstanding. Would recommend this hotel.
- 5/5
The most comfortable bed this side of Denver

it's a dump undergoing remodeling.. everything is old and worn.

While we were made aware that the hotel was under construction, we were told the pool would be open. Upon arrival we found it wasn’t! While not a concern for some, we booked it based on the pool for our kids and were really disappointed! However the staff was wonderful at the front desk!
- 5/5
A special shout-out to Gary, who went above and beyond to make our stay even better. His friendly attitude and attention to detail really stood out. We truly appreciate his help and wanted to give him the recognition he deserves. We’re already looking forward to our next visit!
- 5/5
Lots of obstruction but still a great experience.
- 4/5
Very nice facility though under construction. However, a bit oversold. Elevator notices brag on updated/upgraded indoor pool; however, pool is drained and very much under construction. My Rewards floor bathroom ceiling had peeling paint.
- 2/5
Would have been nice to know about renovations when booking. Also, the lack of creating some value to compensate for the pool/amenities being closed would have been nice. No flavored creamer for coffee?? Really!
- 3/5
Yes
- 2/5
Was not aware of construction until I checked in. Ice maker didn’t work, pool under construction, and limited dining.
- 5/5
The front desk was immensely helpful
- 4/5
Staff is phenomenal there 😁. Bummer the pool was closed during renovations but they accommodate guests very well 😊. Thanks we'll be back next year
- 1/5
I was told by the hotel they never got a request from you to cancel - and you sent me numerous emails saying you were contacting them
- 3/5
Toilet is way too close to the sink
- 5/5
The rooms are very comfortable. The bed and shower are wonderful! Staff is always very friendly and accommodating. It would be nice to have a microwave in the room and ice available on each floor. Other than that, the stay was great!
- 2/5
The bed was great and shower had great pressure. Fan in the room was very loud and interrupted sleep. Pirce for breakfast was disappointing should be complementary.
- 5/5
Friendly staff and clean facilities

Amy checked us in and was amazing. We forgot our wedding gift when we left on an uber and she went upstairs to look for it and kept it so we could retirieve it when we came back from the wedding. Also the young lady that worked the night shift was super friendly while we waitied for pizza! Great customer service. Pool was wonderful! Drinks were delcious!

- 5/5
Lovely! Staff were awesome, room was clean and had a good view. Comfy stay
- 5/5
I like the location and restaurant attached. Construction has been going on fir a long time so needs to be completed.
- 3/5
everything was fine, but i reserved a king and was given a queen
- 4/5
We had a room overlooking the roof. There were piles of trash everywhere.
- 5/5
Comfy beds. Location was good for what we were doing. Staff was friendly. I like the fact it did have a restaurant with bar. It’s not a far walk to light rail/bus center.
- 3/5
Hotel is always being renovated. Staff is good. Phone in room along with TV did not work. Overall room was clean but stained sheets. Not bad just disappointing for the money. Area has some restaurants.
- 3/5
The good: Quiet hotel, convenient location to Golden/Red Rocks, bar/restaurant in the hotel, free parking, cozy bed, nice bathroom. The bad: The room we stayed in had not been renovated yet (we were told it was undergoing renovations when we got there). The halls had exposed wiring and the room’s wallpaper was peeling. The ironing board was so old and crusty that it dropped flakes all over the floor. The tea packets by the coffee were very old and yellowed/crinkled. Pillowcase had mascara stains. It was priced as if it were a renovated hotel, but it was not. It wasn’t awful, but we would find somewhere else to stay next time.
- 5/5
Friendly staff. Nearby restaurant & bar were great.
- 4/5
As always staff is excellent. Property Ned’s work, and I would love more than (1) washcloth.
- 1/5
We were placed in an older room, that didn’t smell great, the shower sprayed everywhere, and the lack of ventilation in the bathroom caused a slick mess. Even after complaining, housekeeping barely kept the rooms daily, and kept leaving less towels than registered guests in our room (if they were replaced at all). To top it off, the phone in our room did not work down to the desk - so we couldn’t even make a quick ring to housekeeping for any issues. The finale was when leaving midday for our planned activity- there was a woman crouched down on the property pants down & urinating. Construction is one thing, but at least bridge the gap with better customer service. VERY disappointing
- 5/5
It was under renovation but still a nice hotel
- 3/5
Not enough parking and under construction still. Pretty dirty in common areas. Ice machine did not work on our floor and there was exposed cables all along the ceiling.
- 5/5
Bed was super comfortable.
- 5/5
Very nice
- 5/5
Quiet, clean, comfortable beds! Great location
- 3/5
Internet spotty and a lumpy mattress, so I give this a lower rating. Kept calling me Mr. when I am a Ms. Thanks!
- 5/5
Even though they we remodeling, the rooms were nice and spacious. Very clean pool. Nice big jacuzzi tub. Great food.
- 1/5
Never entered the room to stay. Could not get up to the 6th floor due to a convention going on. Elevators were slow and malfuntioning. Paid over $200 for 1 night and could not get to my room. Used the pool and left.
- 5/5
Price was affordable, pet friendly, everything is new and clean- no carpet
- 4/5
Overall stay was good. Hotel is going through renovations so certain areas were not being used. Checking In was fast and easy and lady at the desk was very nice and friendly. Room was clean, shower and bed was great. However because of the renovations, the restaurant didnt have everything on the menu and it was extremely limited. Didnt have most of what I asked for that was on the food or drink menu. Wish they would have marked out what they didnt offer - that would have been helpful. Morning of our departure - the free coffee offered in the lobby was empty that was also a disappointment. Overall a nice stay just wished for a little more attention to detail.

Closest hotel to the office I was visiting. They are currently doing construction so hopefully they can update the rooms because they are very very dated.
- 3/5
Headboard was torn up. No water in the fitness center
- 4/5
Our room was comfortable, quiet and easy to get to. And most importantly on the hot, hot days, it was a cool! We would stay again.
- 5/5
Wonderful hotel. Clean, quiet and comfortable and affordable.
- 2/5
Place was under construction so hopefully they are sorting out some of the issues but overall just felt a bit run down. There were wires running from the ceilings in the hallways, some damage to the walls, furniture, and headboards. Shower was like a jet, not very comfortable, and was not well sealed so got water everywhere. AC couldn’t go below 70, but could keep the fan on constantly which was nice. Beds were decently comfortable, TV was a bit annoying to use but not a big deal. No free breakfast is a bummer but ended up going out to nice places instead.
- 2/5
Stay was good except was never given a breakfast voucher which I had to pay for. Told the front desk upon checking out and was not compensated for it.
- 5/5
I really enjoyed the staff and the room.
- 3/5
Door lock workrked sporadically.
- 4/5
Everything was good!
- 1/5
When we got into the room one room was out dated and dirty and holes in the wall! And the other was mediocre and dirty we didn’t have a blow dryer or a phone for customer service! Then when we left and were ready to leave we went into the parking garage and our car was stolen! And conveniently the camera were not working!!! I will never stay there again!
- 5/5
It was a quick weekend trip for my husband and me. Even though the hotel is going through some renovations everything was great!
- 3/5
The price is too high because of remodeling going on! Not staying again at these prices
- 1/5
When I arrived in Denver airport (after 20hours of flight), I received an email from a staff from Sheraton that their system went hay wire and that they have overbooked me. As a result, they have no room for me that night, and told me to make my way to Holiday Inn Express instead. Luckily I checked my email upon touch down. Otherwise, I would have made a wasted trip to Sheraton. Holiday Inn Express is a 2 star hotel. Not at the same level as Sheraton. Till date, I have not received any refunds deom Sheraton. It is very unprofessional of them. Book at your own risk.
- 4/5
The property was under construction - which I believe to be a positive as I agree with other reviews of the property needing upgrades. I think once these are complete it will be a great up to date hotel again! It unfortunately meant the gym was split on to two floors and no free weights available as it looked like in property photos. Not a huge deal but outdated property / current construction can be frustrating for guests. Parking was hit and miss daily and seemed to fill up extremely quick. I found the property to be in a super convenient area for our needs! Would stay here again.
- 4/5
When the attendant finally arrived, he was very nice and checked us in quickly. Our room was clean, quiet and comfortable. Parking was a bit of an issue as the garage was also under construction and spaces were unavalable. We parked at a near-by business (on a weekend) so a parking space was available for us there.
- 4/5
Great customer service, rooms were clean
- 4/5
The staff at this propert was amazing. There were renovations ongoing but a lot of the hallways and room felt outdated
- 3/5
Ice machines out of order on every floor and in restaurant. No places to park after coming back from concert - not enough spaces for all guests and all 15-min parking places were taken with overnight guests by morning. Staff friendly at check in but very flippant and uncaring with any questions afterwards. Room fairly comfortable but overall everything was very meh at best.
- 2/5
I would not recommend this property. I understand they are going through a remodel but what we saw did not have anything to do with the remodel. Check in took at least 15 minutes because one person was working the counter and she had an upset customer. Then hallways are dirty. Bed spread had a cigarette hold burned in it. Absolutely no towels in the swim area and when notified the hotel did nothing. There were about six of us (not even family members, strangers) working together to find towels. Ended up using ours in our room. Our tv connection would go in and out. Just not a pleasant experience at all!
- 2/5
We were dissatisfied . Only 2 ice machines were working, the microwave did not work. We tried calling the front desk and couldn't get an answer. No instructions in the room on anything!. We will not stay there again
- 2/5
The property is definitely in need of an update. It seems like everything is falling apart. I had to have maintenance help me into my room twice because the electric lock stopped working. The diverter on the tub didn't work so more water came out of the faucet than the shower head. Also, housekeeping was very inconsistent. They came twice during my 5 day stay. I like to work out in my room and when I got near the floor, I could see that the carpet was not vacuumed. The bathroom mirror was gross too. The restaurant food is okay, but the very sweet waitress that works there in evening is alone during very busy times. Most people were patient with her, but not all. The security lock on my door didn't work, which is a big deal as I am a woman traveling alone. My second stay was worse than the first. I won't be back.
- 2/5
Hotel was under construction. Which was not disclosed prior to the reservation. The hotel was not clean and very dilapidated, communication of hotel service were very unclear and not available while staying at the hotel. All of the printed and posted hours of operation for the restaurant/bar were incorrect and changed each day we stayed at the hotel. Bathroom had a water leak issue, the main window of the room had a leak, it did rain on our stay and we woke up to a wet floor and one of our bags got wet. The room was very worn and beat up. Lots of scrapes, dents, material of the headboard was worn off. The ice machine was out of or order on the floor we stayed on. Would not stay in this location again unless the renovation was completed.
- 2/5
While rooms were clean, they are extremely outdated and run down. The bed was one of the most uncomfortable hotel beds I’ve ever encountered. On top of the underwhelming room quality there was a ton of construction going on that was not noted at time of booking. Will look to stay somewhere else next time.
- 4/5
I did not realize the property was under construction at the time, which made some access and amenities unavailable. It was a good rate, and the location is great for food choices. Access to the mountains and open-space is excellent. Front desk was great, and cleaning was done well despite the work being done. My impression is that this will be a 4-star once complete.
- 4/5
Very clean and comfortable room. Only thing missing was microwave in the room.
- 4/5
They are currently under construction so I’m sure they are fixing some areas that needed improvement. Room was a tad outdated, no USB plugins or alarms. The shower was very loud and hardly worked. The hallway smelled like sewer, the room wasn’t as bad but still the smell. Other than that it was great and the restaurant was very good.
- 4/5
Very nice staff. Room was clean but quite run-down with window frame duct- taped and signs of wear throughout.
- 5/5
Building is being renovated
- 5/5
Nice and accommodating
- 1/5
The property its very old
- 4/5
Bad smell from the bottom all the way through the elevators
- 2/5
Pretty bad stay. Noisy neighbors. Staff was not super helpful. Hotel under renovations. No room service. Mattress was old and unsupportive but room was clean.
- 1/5
No in room service at all, inaccurate menu, smelled like sewage, hair in shower, gave us free breakfast cards but had no buffet and truly awful service. Stayed on a Friday night and we couldn’t get room service. Restaurant didn’t open until 5. Terrible amenities. Had to air room out upon arrival, as it smelled so bad. Really just unpleasant experience. We made the best of it and had a fun girls night, but ended up just getting food to go at the restaurant and sitting in our room. I don’t recommend this place and will definitely find somewhere else to stay next time.
- 2/5
The front desk was extremely rude. The only nice person we ran into was the waitress in the restaurant that did her hair like the 1950’s. There were dead ducks that my child had to see outside all over very sad and odd. Construction through the whole hotel the pool was not open and it was noisy.
- 4/5
The property is safe and clean.
- 5/5
They had construction going on at the time but overall it was great, the staff was really helpful and kind.
- 4/5
Hotel was nice. It was clean, currently doing a remodel. The room had everything you needed and the showers were amazing, loved the water pressure.
- 1/5
Old sad furnishings. Bed headboard was disgusting
- 2/5
Unfortunately, the property was in a remodel state. We get that but were never notified when this was booked through Expedia. We had to walk through the employee main office to exit the property. Not good! The staff could only do what they could do. Jsut shut down the property.
- 3/5
Room was not the cleanest. A towel was missed by housekeeping so a dirty towel still hanging on the back of the door in the bathroom from previous guest. There were little splatter stains on the headboard and wall. This location is under construction so hopefully they will also be redoing rooms but the bathrooms were pretty dated and not totally clean as well. Check in staff was friendly, great parking, and great location… overall just some cleanliness issues.
- 2/5
The hvac system in the room was so loud that I had trouble getting into sleep. I ended up turning it off, but the room became so cold.
- 2/5
It wasn't a bad option, but not at all as advertised. There was no mention of renovations at booking. Booked the place largely for the pool. NO POOL. Ice machine also broken. The workout area is not what is pictured here. Just a couple machines in one of the regular hotel rooms. Very much false advertising. But beds were comfortable and parking was free.

Nice location
- 4/5
I was unaware of lobby renovation underway. But, they have isolated it nicely. Otherwise, great service, clean, quiet.
- 4/5
Convenient, good parking.
- 1/5
Booked 4 days at hotel with expectation of having a pool. Nothing mentioned on Expedia or their website indicating it was under renovation & therefore pool not available. Decided to cut our stay 2 days short due to situation and hotel would not provide a refund for the 2 unused days. Will never stay here again & will make sure I don't recommend to anyone else.
- 5/5
Sketchy area with some homeless walking around.
- 3/5
The staff was great. Very friendly alert. Attentive to needs. I still don't understand why they charged me after even though my deposit was never redeposited.
- 5/5
Currently under renovation so a lot of services normally available were not.
- 5/5
Well run
- 1/5
NO ADA ACCOMIDATIONS. IM DISABLED it was hard to shower in a tub and no grab bars.

Breakfast was great.

Nice rooms lobby under construction
- 5/5
Well maintained property. Clean comfortable room and great shower.
- 4/5
Bed had a major trough on the left side of the bed. Old mattress. Large King room and only the office chair to relax in (no upholstered chair).
- 5/5
Great
- 3/5
It'll be better after construction...
- 5/5
Super friendly front staff and spacious room with comfortable accommodations and a great view. Only complaint is that the water pressure and temperature in the shower were a little underwhelming.
- 5/5
Clean, friendly, easy and free parking
- 5/5
I enjoyed staying here. Thankyou
- 5/5
Love it
- 1/5
When we arrived WIFI was down, POOL down, ICE MACHINE down, Restaurant semi-open at 7pm - could only take cash because WIFI down. Ordered 2 different Appetizers but they were out of both and sent back terrible rice dish. Front desk was rude, unhelpful and incredibly aggressive. Management the next day was sympathetic, I was to stay 5 nights but barely made it one night.
- 3/5
Have stayed at this hotel many times. They’re in the middle of remodeling the lobby and pool is stil closed for months now. No room service available as short staffed which is understandable however could not even place a to go order over the phone at the restaurant. Why? Room was also older had to choose between plugging in frig, microwave and lamp into one outlet
- 2/5
The property is undergoing renovations at this time. While I did not have any issues with the renovation i did not like the temporary lobby or the staff at the front desk. very poor attitude and work ethic.
- 5/5
Nice rooms
- 3/5
Only one of the desk people were kind and the cleaning lady on our floor (8) was super kind and considerate we didn’t need cleaned everyday but she checked on us and made sure we had things we needed -also if your front desk people don’t like or appreciate us booking through a 3rd party they need to not tell us every time at checkin ! we book through hotels .com because that is how we choose to travel for business and pleasure-
- 2/5
half inch gap between door and door jamb in my room building in rennovation yet sheraton charges full price
- 5/5
Staff was outstanding
- 3/5
It was okay overall, didn’t know it was under construction, they had no trash bags, it was a pain to get things, front desk wasn’t friendly besides one Latina lady with glasses
- 4/5
The hotel was undergoing renovation during my stay so some amenities were not available. The pool was closed and the fitness center was temporarily located in a couple of rooms. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The rooms are very quiet, especially on the east side away from the street. The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. I slept very well.
- 3/5
The biggest positive is the relatively quick and easy access if you're planning to head west on 1-70 after your stay.
- 5/5
.
- 5/5
Very quiet hotel. Great location. Nice comfy beds.
- 4/5
I found most everything at the Sheraton Denver West Hotel in Lakewood to be excellent. The (2) front-desk representatives were very nice and hospitable. The room was clean and comfortable. The surrounding area was very walkable and overall felt safe. My only disappointed was to discover upon arrival that the lobby and 2nd floor levels were being renovated, meaning that the pool and fitness center were restricted to guest access. In my opinion, this restricted access to these amenities warrants a discount to the loding expense.
- 4/5
Bathrooms are small, showers are a tight squeeze. Rooms are big, beds are comfortable. Was under renovations so noise in the morning and pool was unavailable. Convenient to highway, shopping and restaurants
- 4/5
It was only okay due to the construction. Room was out of date, but did the trick. Bar was closed and staff was limited. Also, there was zero outdoor lighting to indicate where the property was.
- 5/5
Room was very nice and staff very friendly. Was not informed it was under major construction
- 5/5
it was good

My stay was awesome. Friendly staff and clean rooms.

The hotel was in middle of renovations which we were not aware of when we booked. The room walls were paper thin so we could hear the TV which was on all night long the in the room next door. The bed was very uncomfortable as were the pillows. No restaurants were open due to renovations. Very dark and dungeon like ambiance…we ended up cutting our reservations short and changed to a different property after 2 nights. Just awful experience!!
- 3/5
Hotel was fine. It's conveniently located so you can get anywhere in town rather quickly. Staff was nice, but the check-in guy didn't give us the breakfast vouchers. Make sure you get your breakfast voucher, otherwise, you'll pay $21+ for a basic at best "buffet". That was a continental breakfast.
- 5/5
Very nice property
- 3/5
Upon check in, Brenda was very rude. The rooms that were requested were adjoining kings. She said they were unavailable and we had to take doubles instead. The showers leaked horribly also.
- 5/5
Conveniently located near lightrail access making getting to and from sporting events easy.
- 4/5
It was a bit noisy with all the construction.
- 4/5
Other than the construction going on, the facility was nice, clean and staff was very friendly.
- 5/5
Great! Friendly staff. And clean hotel.
- 5/5
Enjoyed myself at this hotel
- 5/5
Great place to stay during sporting event weekends.
- 5/5
I always like to stay here when I’m out of town & come to the city for the weekend.

Location
- 4/5
Great for an overnight stay coming from the airport and headed west. We enjoyed our stay, the onsite restaurant, and morning coffee/tea bar. The room was clean and comfortable.
- 5/5
This is a convenient location to stay when traveling from Western Colorado to Denver for Sporting events. Within walking distance to yhe light rail, which saves the hassles of driving and parking downtown. There's plenty of dining nearby. Close to the Denver Mills mall for shopping.
- 4/5
The headboard in room 708 was a little suspect. Needs replacing
- 5/5
The rooms need a little love. The staff was absolutely amazing. I didn’t have a phone in my room to order room service when I checked in. The front desk gentleman offered to move my room when I went to order. The bartender in the restaurant actually delivered the food to my room. Maintenance was sent up immediately to install a phone. I travel a lot and it was very refreshing to have such excellent service.
- 3/5
Cons: 1. All the soaps, lotions, etc. have such a strong fragrance it made me nauseous to use them. Please change these, they're awful! 2. The breakfast buffet is $20 and is exactly what you get for free at a cheaper hotel. This might be a deal breaker for our group.
- 4/5
I’ve stayed at this property several times and enjoyed it. This stay the bed was worn out (soft) and heater was VERY loud, waking me up every time it cycled.
- 3/5
4 adults in room. Given only three towels. The last morning we had no hot water.
- 4/5
House keeping knoking the door at 9 AM for cleaning, and there was too much dust around.
- 3/5
pool was closed hotel entrance was inconvenient
- 5/5
Staff was amazing! Had a great time! Thank you!!
- 5/5
Nice hotel
- 3/5
Most of the room was okay, but routine maintenance was lacking (e.g., bathroom ceiling light was out, wallpaper was peeling off plumbing access hatch). I was awoken 3 separate times on Saturday night between 1 AM and 4 AM by (apparently bus-loads) rowdy, drunken people at the convenience lounge about 60 feet down the hall, many of whom were literally yelling. The clerk at check-out (for my 5-night stay) said he was sorry about that.
- 5/5
You are a block away from the Interstate, very close to the mountains. Everything was a 10 drive for us. We did Red Rocks, Meow Wolf and Casa Bonitas. Property had great food - you MUST try the green chili bowl! Their beer cheese was not good, though. It's dated but the beds were luxurious and we all slept great!
