Great stay. Thanks
- 5/5
Breakfast was wonderful. Very quaint and charming place!!
- 4/5
Check in was great. Other than no shower soap and almost no toilet paper, the room was good. The new age shower was not great.
- 5/5
Very friendly staff.
- 5/5
If you appreciate the charm of an older building and decor, this is a great place for you!
- 3/5
Room was clean, staff was friendly and the breakfast was terrific.
- 4/5
A historic hotel that has been nicely remodeled and updated.
- 5/5
My first time stay there I’m a traveling from Florida, The staff Was nice greeting. Friendly and helpful. I will stay again if I go back that way.
- 3/5
Breakfast buffet was well stocked, but too few tables for the number of guests. Parking lot needs repaving. Staff is friendly and helpful.
- 4/5
Very clean room and nice, helpful staff.
- 5/5
The hostess Christy was amazing. She went above and beyond her duties.
- 5/5
.
- 5/5
The property was clean and comfortable. The staff was really outstanding. Breakfast was out in the morning looked ok but I don’t eat breakfast so I can’t say if it was good. Coffee was ok. It is conveniently located near shopping and Siena college where I was visiting. will definitely visit again.
- 5/5
Amazing breakfast! Room was simple but very clean. No elevator though so think about what you’re packing!
- 5/5
Just what we needed. It's was our second stay there. Unfortunately the restaurant was in the midst of being renovated.
- 5/5
We had a pleasant one-night stay at this elegant old-style hotel. The room was clean and quiet. Parking was easy. The staff was very friendly. We also liked the breakfast and the complementary beverages. Won't hesitate to stay here again if we revisit the place.
- 5/5
Wow what a wonderful hotel in a beautiful peaceful surroundings. Very clean and elegant and the breakfast was the best we had on a very long road trip. Staff was perfect, Linda in the breakfast area was spectacular. 10/10 would fully recommend
- 2/5
The Expedia room we were put in was right next to the entrance lobby. That provided two+ opportunities for excess noise: late arrivals and early risers. Staff had a tendency to shout clarifying orders right outtside our room. The fridge was also noisy. First impressions are everything. I wish ours had been better.
- 5/5
Came with breakfast which was a little disappointing.. food was cold and not cooked enough
- 5/5
Home away from home. Super quiet hotel. Friendly staff. Great breakfast.
- 4/5
Breakfast is excellent. Bottles of shower gel and shampoo are empty.
- 4/5
The buffet room and the staff there were excellent. So friendly and welcoming Our room was a bit outdated and the towels were not very good
- 5/5
Really enjoyed my stay there, the room was beautiful, the atmosphere was wonderful felt safe and cozy. Will ne staying there again in a few days. Out in the area for work, already booked ny room for next week!
- 5/5
Amazing breakfast!
- 5/5
Clean and quiet, hotel. Fresh fruit for breakfast, strawberries, blueberries, grapefruit was nice to see plus the usual hot food. The chef comes out and asks if you need anything special. Also, Spend the extra 8 bucks for the upgraded room, comfortable mattress, soft towels. New bathroom. Various flavored waters in the lobby is a nice treat. Exterior is a little outdated, but if you’re looking for peace and quiet no frills hotel. This is it.
- 4/5
Great location. Room was comfortable and clean. Great breakfast!
- 5/5
Everything was great from the moment we checked in. My son had a tournament and it ended up being rained out and I loved that we were able to use the sister property for the pool so he could swim. He also LOVED the breakfast.. he’s a picky eater and he was very satisfied. Hotel was quiet you didn’t hear any of the guest making a noise and all the staff was exceptional. N/A
- 4/5
The breakfast was great and included lots of fresh fruit, eggs, meats, potatoes and breads. The staff was very friendly and the hotel is quiet. There is a nice walking path behind the hotel. The toilet and shower did not drain well at all. The windows did not lock. The facility could use a refresher.
- 5/5
We loved our stay here, even for just one night. Very convenient to restaurants and interstate access, very quiet at night . We will definitely be staying here again in the future !
- 4/5
I would have given this place 5 stars bc the hotel was beautiful inside & out however upon first entering it had an eerie vibe especially bc we were not even acknowledged for a couple of minutes by the 2 male staff behind the desk. They made me feel uncomfortable, unwelcome and that I we were a nuisance.
- 5/5
A gem! Convenient to all i needed and the staff were the absolute best! The room was clean and the open closet was amazing ! Def going to be my new place in town!
- 4.5/5
This hotel was the nicest pet-friendly hotel we have stayed at in the area that is also reasonably priced. There is a great walking path behind the hotel for doge (and people). Rooms were spacious and comfortable. No carpet, which is better for anyone with allergies. Breakfast was good, with a nice variety of hot and cold breakfast foods each day. Staff was super friendly! No complaints! (Note: There is construction out front right now, but they are rebuilding the conference center, and it should be finished in a couple of months, I think.)
- 5/5
The present Century House is a very dated hotel, I think they are replacing it with a new one doen the street, however what they lack in decor they surpass in hospitality. Everyone from the reception desk to the breakfast room to the cleaning staff was friendly and helpful. We stayed here overnight for our son's graduation from RPI. I refused to be price gagged by the ridiculous prices, and required multiple day stay, at the hotels in Troy. This place is an easy 10 min. drive to the college. The breakfast was ok but we didn't have time to eat out because we had to leave by 6:45a.m.
- 5/5
Love this beautiful hotel. Staff was very welcoming rooms were beautiful. Will definitely stay again.
- 5/5
Spacious clean room. Location was next to construction site.
- 3/5
Location was great! Cable was terrible, I do believe the front or back was under renovation. The lighting in the rooms were not good
- 5/5
Clean rooms. Friendly staff. Ample parking. Good breakfast.
- 2/5
The tv did not work. We reported it to the front desk and they came up and looked at it but could not fix it.the TV didn’t work the entire weekend.
- 5/5
Would definitely stay here again! Clean and the staff was very friendly.
- 5/5
Had two rooms, one for son’s family. Hotel was great. Friendly and a great breakfast. Trail behind hotel for walking. Toddler books in library. Gym. Just a wonderful place to stay. To me, better than Hilton.
- 5/5
This is a gem and will make it the hotel I go to when visiting family in Albany. Loved the cookies at three and the warm clothes were a great treat. So many wonderful ways to make a trip great!
- 5/5
Very nice hotel, stayed with my partner for a business trip.
- 5/5
Nice room at a reasonable rate. Breakfast was varied with eggs, fruit waffles and sausage.
- 3/5
Going through renovation no food or bar
- 5/5
Beautiful building - friendly staff - good morning breakfast included. Room a little dusty
- 5/5
The rooms were very clean and the grounds taken care of. There was some construction that took away from the outside beauty of it. The breakfast was decent and the breakfast lady was so sweet. Pretty charming place to stay.
- 5/5
Clean room, comfortable stay.
- 5/5
No bad at all! Thanks.
- 4/5
The mattresses were overly firm - so not comfortable and the coffee was terrible.
- 5/5
Loved this hotel. We travel frequently with our two cats and it is often difficult to find a nice hotel with a great pet policy. The room was large and the beds were comfortable. Breakfast was provided and it was a nice presentation and very good tasting as well. We will definitely stay here again.
- 5/5
No restaurant and none within walking distance
- 4/5
They are tearing down the Century House restaurant!
- 3/5
We stay every year around to this time and this year they tore down the restaurant, which was amazing. The rooms were not clean and breakfast was mediocre at best. This is not the way it was in the past. Not sure if we will come back next year because the facility has gone downhill.
- 4.5/5
The water would drain down the bathroom sink very slowly and the beds weren’t as comfortable as I like, but I also have a high standard for beds
- 5/5
The room was very nice, clean and invitingBreakfast was over the top great. plenty to choose from and fresh. the staff in the breakfast room were very attentive making sure everything was refreshed often. This was by far the best stay I have had anywhere in years.Anytime I am in the area and need a place to stay this will be it.Can not say enough good things about it.
- 5/5
!
- 4/5
Stuff was helpful and welcoming. Ample parking on site. Breakfast options were few (e.g. every day scrambled eggs & potatoes), but usually what is offered at similar hotels. My room was at the end of corridor, and wi-fi coverage was not great, with speeds of 1-3Mbps (yes, three) and connection often falling (I had to use instead my phone tethering, good I have unlimited coverage there). I'm cutting a star for this. Maybe closer to reception is different...
- 5/5
All good !
- 5/5
Best breakfast buffet ever. Even had fresh grapefruit, to go along with blueberries, strawberries, and all the other normal breakfast fare.
- 1/5
Parking and breakfast was the best thing only.
- 4.5/5
The breakfast was actually quite good! Instead of one of these weak continental breakfast with stale bread and wrinkled apples - there were eggs, decent pancakes, and bacon, food that was actually cooked in a a real kitchen.
- 5/5
Yes
- 4/5
The breakfast was great and the staff was friendly, nice nature walk, room was clean and we had what we needed. When we checked in, there was someone in the bathroom nearby vomiting loudly, and the person at reception was talking very quietly, which was tough.
- 5/5
This is a gem of a hotel. The breakfast was pretty close to homemade. The little touches like home made cookies and a nice note on the bathroom mirror welcoming us. If our child goes to RPI, we will frequent this hotel.
- 5/5
It was quaint and well maintained. The entrance is down a hill and the entrance and welcome area are adorable. The rooms were very nice and the queen beds were large and comfortable. The common spaces were welcoming and the breakfast was fantastic with a gluten free section. The signage to get to the hotel entrance is not visible immediately.
- 3/5
The staff is very nice and the breakfast was good. The facility was old and run down.
- 5/5
Breakfast was incredible, friendly staff, quiet and spacious rooms. Love the hotel
- 4/5
Breakfast was exceptional every day! Staff very friendly and helpful. I don't think anything could have been better for a buffet breakfast.
- 5/5
Great breakfast
- 5/5
I liked it.
- 5/5
Always stay here whenever in Troy area. No complaints. Only compliments!
- 5/5
Friendliest staff I have ever encountered at a hotel. Breakfast was great. Nice selection/variety. Updated and very clean bathroom. Will definitely stay again if we are back in the area.
- 4/5
The shower floor was very slippery. I expected it to be safer.
- 5/5
Free Iced tea and yummy soup available in the lobby
- 5/5
The staff was absolutely amazing!
- 5/5
I love this place. It could look abandoned from the front due to construction on the restaurant. Just drive around the back side. Why do I love this place? 1. It has the best breakfast that I have ever experienced at at hotel at any price. This makes such a difference in the stay. 2. They have GOOD soup to eat in the lobby every evening. 3. There are lots of places to walk a pet. 4. The staff were really nice and the place felt like home. I will never stay anywhere else in the area again.
- 1/5
This property has profoundlly declined. Not secure or clean. Avoid this property.
- 4/5
Very classic colonial charm The charm is a bit tired.
- 5/5
Clean and cozy N/a
- 4/5
A bit outdated. Example: the electrical and usb jacks were just hanging behind the small stand between the beds from a cord. No big deal really, just looks cheap. Mattress was excellent, pillows however had zero support. Basically a pillowcase between your head and the mattress. I put a folded pair of jeans under the pillow and it worked out. The couple of staff I interacted with were very nice. Breakfast was fresh. Price of stay was a little cheaper than similar hotels in the area, it just needs updating. Overall, you get what you pay for.
- 5/5
The care and attention to detail. The soup in the lobby - Tomato Tuscan White Bean - tasted homemade. There were board games and puzzles in the lounge. A fantastic place to stay!
- 5/5
Quiet clean rooms polite staff. Loved my stay
- 4/5
Very nice king size room. Building is definitely on the older side. But the upgrades to the individual room is great. Make note there are NO device outlets. You have to plug your devices into the wall behind the chair or behind the nightstand, that does not make any sense in these modern times. Also the main desk was very “rustic” if you like that type of thing. The bathroom was updated with the new “half shower door” that you see in many places. Not really a fan, leaves you cold, but I would stay there again 100% ,the breakfast café was pleasant. Breakfast was included.
- 5/5
Clean comfy
- 4/5
Clean room, friendly staff, great location.
- 5/5
Perfect
- 5/5
This is a little gem. Love that it is pet friendly and only charges $25 extra per pet with a maximum of 2 pets. Lots of little personal touches that definitely would have me staying here again if in the area.
- 4/5
Staff were so nice. Room was quiet and there is ample parking
- 5/5
Room was GREAT & the staff very friendly & helpful
- 5/5
Staff was very nice and helpful. Room was clean. Breakfast was very good!
- 5/5
Absolutely amazing "First time Stay"!!! I loved Miss Debbie who checked us in!!!!!clean..welcoming..amazing staff !!!amazing breakfast!!!!beautiful atmosphere!!!!im coming back!!!wonderful place to spend Valentines Day with my husband!!thankyou all!
- 1/5
We left and didn’t care about the lost money we paid. It was completely outdated and the pictures looked nothing like the actual rooms! It had the smallest tv with only local channels, a bed with 4 small pillows, no comforter, a plastic shower…it was gross!
- 4/5
Lovely, old world, and quaint.
- 5/5
Very nice room in very substantial complex for meetings conferences and a restaurant as well.
- 5/5
The room was very clean, nice thick towels . The bed was little uncomfortable , like a body had already been in the bed . The staff is always pleasant
- 5/5
The room was spotless, yes. We found the staff super friendly and helpful, and we needed their help, because we had a flat tire. We were allowed to stay a little longer in our room, which was a godsend. The breakfast was also unexpectedly good, and the staff cheery and welcoming.
- 3/5
Some staff were wonderful, but others were not concerned with me. I asked for more towels, but did not get them. Debbie and Lynn were fabulous. The room needed updating, but bringing a pet, I am used to getting a subpar room. Sad, because I pay the SAME price as other guests, PLUS as additional fee to have a pet.
- 5/5
The room was spotless and had all the right amenities. The lobby had a cozy fire going and fresh drinks and coffee at all times. They offered a different soup of the day in the lobby daily which I thought was so old-fashioned and adorable and comforting. The breakfasts were a standout. Great variety that changed daily and really delicious. Would stay there again in a heartbeat!
- 5/5
Great staff, great amenities, great location,
- 5/5
Friendly staff. Excellent breakfast
- 4/5
This is a beautiful hotel, beautifully renovated. The staff is so friendly. It is very clean. The only small complaint is the breakfast was not very hot and we didn’t have a lot of choice. But I give it a 9.5/10. I would stay there again.
- 5/5
Check in was easy. Front desk woman was so nice and accommodating. Our room was gorgeous, large, and clean. Loved the tile floors instead of gross carpet nost hotels have. Breakfast was so wonderful. Would definitely stay again if we're in the area.
- 5/5
Great people
- 5/5
Quiet hotel, good beds good breakfast
- 4/5
Staff was very nice
- 5/5
Great
- 3/5
I thought this hotel would be nicer than it was, so I was a bit disappointed, but that's on me. Seems like an older hotel that was "updated". Overall, it was an acceptable place to stay, but nothing special. I wouldn't go out of my way to stay here again. The staff was very nice.
- 5/5
The staff went the extra mile to make us feel at home. The amenities are very cozy, and the room was comfortable and spacious. My kids loved playing in the game/table room area, and the breakfast offered high-quality food. I highly recommend visiting without a doubt!
- 5/5
The staff were super sweet and the rooms were clean. The continental breakfast was not typical and so so so much better than most hotels! We will definetly be back!
- 5/5
Staff was outstanding! Room was just right.
- 4/5
Not your typical high rise hotel. Front desk staff was a little short with us it seemed because we used Expedia. The hot water in the shower did not work. The guy working in the breakfast room was great - efficient, helpful, happy.
- 5/5
Thanks !!
- 5/5
Simple but just what u need
- 5/5
The room was clean and nicely laid out and appointed. The decor was rustic chic. The fridge was a nice size. There were plenty of towels and washcloths. Breakfast was very good with hot and cold options. The staff were very helpful. We will definitely be back in the future.
- 5/5
This hotel is top notch! Hot soup, coffee, tea, and essential oil-infused towels when you arrive. Room is very nicely decorated and clean. Staff is awesome. Excellent complimentary breakfast. Pet friendly, too. We will keep coming back when in Albany.
- 5/5
Amazing service! Room was very clean. Love the restaurant food. So glad they are pet friendly and their doggie welcome bags were super cute. Would definitely stay here again.
- 4/5
Room was clean. complementary breakfast was very nice. Only complaint was that the pillows were not the most comfortable
- 5/5
The room was a bit dark and dated, however, the staff was fabulous, the restaurant was great, and the location was perfect.
- 5/5
Staff are great.
- 5/5
The location is great, rooms are clean, staff is friendly and professional but Linda gets a special shout out for her great service and personality during breakfast!!
- 5/5
Clean and nice design of rooms
- 5/5
Conveniently located and the rooms are designed very nicely. It’s dog friendly too.
- 5/5
Wonderful weekend stay at the Century House and would definitely return. The staff was very friendly. And there were such nice little touches including an extensive hot breakfast with a dedicated toaster for gluten allergies, and complimentary soup, cookies, and beverages in the lobby.
- 5/5
Room was clean and comfortable, breakfast was amazing, staff were very professional and kind. We will absolutely be back. Thanks century house!!
- 5/5
Great location, great
- 5/5
Jim from Ohio
- 5/5
The front desk check in was very welcoming particularly for our dog. Terrific hotel if you’re staying with your dog.
- 4/5
Clean room, attentive staff and even though it looks like the room had been updated the rest of the Hotel could use some sprucing up. The Breakfast was good with enough offerings to satisfy most appetites. My wife and I only stayed for a night and it satisfied are needs more than adequately.
- 5/5
Friendly and welcoming staff.
- 5/5
Very friendly, quiet, clean, beautiful hotel. Linda, the breakfast waitress, was especially welcoming and sweet.
- 4/5
Traveling with our two cats: Only certain rooms are pet-friendly. While ours was nice and clean, the furnishings were shabby, with significant wear and tear. Instead of getting a "boutique" feeling from the stay, we felt, as pet owners, that we were unworthy of better accommodations. The absolute best part of this stay was the complimentary breakfast. The host, Linda, was excellent — friendly and attentive — and the food options were outstanding. She definitely made us feel special after the negative vibe we got from the worn-out room.
- 5/5
It's a pleasant surprise, hotel is a little bit outdated, but it's clean and spacious. Breakfast is great with plenty of options, the free coffee and tea is a bonus. Location is okay, just a short drive to pretty much everything. Hot towels is also appreciated
- 5/5
Nice clean room decorated so cute with a boutique feel. It did not feel like a chain hotel. Excellent service. Loved the walking trail!
- 5/5
Nice room and the breakfasts in the mornings were very good. Convenient location to restaurants, shopping and local events.
- 5/5
Very charming. Nice breakfast. Allows pets!
- 5/5
Nice staff
- 3/5
Breakfast offerings were good; staffing during breakfast was one sweet lady running around. Overall cleanliness was not great; could use new furniture!
- 5/5
I loved how warm and welcoming the staff was of me and my fur baby. They even had a cute doggy bag just for her at check in I thought it was such a nice touch. I will definitely stay here again.
- 4/5
The room was very clean and the bathroom was new. We asked for a handicap accessible room and it was. The breakfast was much to be desired. The eggs were cold. The fruit was not fresh - it had an after taste to it. I thought when the web site said "chef prepared" I thought there would be someone there to make eggs to your liking. That wasn't the case. everything was prepared ahead of time, but cold.
- 5/5
We loved our stay here!
- 3/5
Old
- 5/5
The breakfast is delicious and the set up is beautiful.
- 5/5
Nice room with ample seating. Clean bathroom. Great front desk.
- 5/5
Best breakfast! Such fresh food and awesome server!
- 5/5
This place was very cool! Nice walking trails, quiet, comfortable rooms and super chill atmosphere. They had a nice breakfast and round the clock coffee, tea and snacks in the lobby. Fran at the desk was the absolute best! She was awesome and super helpful with anything and everything. We would go back just to see her! Linda, the attendant in the breakfast area, was possibly the nicest human being we have ever met. The restaurant was convenient to have on site. Comfy bed, quiet setting, amazing staff and easy to get to the highway and stuff around town. Definitely a great place to stay!
- 5/5
Staff was friendly; room was comfortable and well equipped; breakfast was excellent. Would definitely stay here again.
- 5/5
We enjoyed our stay and the breakfast was an unexpected bonus.
- 2/5
Cute, vintage vibes. The staff was very friendly. However, there was mold along the bathroom walls and ceiling, and our towels were folded but dirty upon arrival. Our bedsheet also had stains on it. When we brought our concerns to the staff’s attention at checkout, they apologized and thanked us for letting them know, but didn’t offer any compensation for the inconveniences. Overall, our experience seemed to be overpriced for what it was.
- 5/5
The hotel was adorable
- 5/5
The hotel felt like being at a cozy Inn. Board games available and many spots to sit and relax. The restaurant on the grounds was inviting, with the fireplace lit on the rainy nights we were there. Included breakfast was excellent with many choices.
- 5/5
Wonderful staff, the rooms are very clean, good breakfast.
- 5/5
I pass through this area 2x/year. This is my absolute favorite after trying many others. Great service, rooms, cleanliness, and restaurant.
- 5/5
This is a lovely, friendly place which welcomed our tiny dog with a doggy gift bag and treats too! Right from the start the staff was very accommodating. The hotel was quiet and near retail establishments. The breakfast buffet was excellent with an outstanding, smiling hostess. We highly recommend the hotel and hope to stay here again!
- 4/5
Nature trail needs a sign: Is it circular? How long is it? Sorry we missed the restaurant and bar we visited during previous stay; closed on days we were there
- 5/5
Excellent hiking trail behind property, beautiful central garden, great restaurant, room was comfortable and well kept. Downsides located off very busy street and restaurant/room service close very early -830
- 5/5
Hotel restaurant is amazing. Do not miss. Great food and service! David at the bar is fantastic. Rooms are comfortable and clean.
- 5/5
Quiet and cozy little hotel, clean and tidy. Restaurant was close with excellent food and service.
- 5/5
Nice hotel
- 4/5
Loved it.
- 5/5
Amazing hotel
- 5/5
Best bang for your buck in the area !!
- 4/5
The place is older but kept up really nicely. They had a very nice breakfast. Enjoyed my stay.
- 5/5
The staff here were great, especially Linda who worked to keep the breakfast area stocked. She was super friendly and always had a smile. Housekeeping staff was also very friendly. The breakfast was better than most hotels we’ve stayed at. The walking trail behind the property was quiet and peaceful. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
- 5/5
They paid attention to the details. Great style. Outstanding breakfast. Connected with their customers
- 5/5
Charming property in colonial decor. All the staff was pleasant and helpful. Great little tavern attached to the hotel. Spacious room. My favorite was the open closet concept with counters for belongings. I like the walkable courtyard as well.
- 4/5
The hotel had a cozy, rustic feel, the room was nicely decorated, the bed was comfortable and the food in the restaurant was excellent.
- 5/5
Amazingly friendly staff! We come here every year and we love it. They treat you like family.
- 4/5
This was a nice hotel with friendly staff and a homey vibe. It had little bit of wear and tear in the bathroom, but the room was very clean. The bed wqs super comfortable. The breakfast was also good.
- 5/5
Ok
- 5/5
Over all very nice
- 5/5
Overall, they were all more professional in the positions they held.
- 5/5
everything you need in a hotel without it being a stuffy bland corporate hotel. enjoy the fresh fruited water!
- 5/5
We had a great stay! Would definitely return.
- 5/5
Convenient to train station
- 3/5
Need to install a elevator.
- 5/5
Rustic charm, lovely nature walk, comfortable beds, spacious rooms and wonderful dinner.
- 5/5
Great
- 5/5
This place was so charming from the minute we pulled in. They gave you infused hot towels and cookies at check-in. NO ELEVATOR!!!! I do not like that hotels do not keep their restaurants open, as was the case for us. It was a Sunday. The beds were great, pool was great, desk help was great. Phillys down the street had great food. Free parking! What a nice change of pace from the ordinary hotel room!
- 5/5
This is our 3rd visit to this property and never disappoints. the staff is so very friendly and accommodating. I love the text updates. The complimentary breakfast is the best we have experienced. All around wonderful experience.
- 5/5
Loved the Restaurant and Tavern on site as part to the ambience.
- 3/5
It seems like much-needed renovations are in process. The property is "tired" and worn. The cost was very reasonable, but we were still disappointed in the quality of the room.
- 3/5
Tv worked well. Bed and shower were good. Check in was terrible. Dining room was freaking cold. Food was below average. Hotel is very outdated
- 5/5
Nice hotel, very clean and comfortable. The restaurant is excellent, a bit pricey but the food was great.
- 4/5
Nice hotel, amazing restaurant
- 5/5
The room was large and comfortable. The shower was warm and wet. Breakfast was very good with a nice variety of hot food, pastries, fruit, and cereal.
- 4/5
The pool is quite small and outdated and was cold. We appreciated the free EV charging as well.
- 5/5
It was a great place to stop on a very long trip. Staff were very friendly.
- 5/5
The staff was friendly and professional. Breakfast buffet was good. Room was spacious and clean and the bed was comfortable.
- 4/5
On a utilisé la piscine extérieure (juillet, elle devait être a 76). Chambre propre. Petit sentier de 10 minutes.
- 5/5
Nice place with a resort type atmosphere
- 4/5
We enjoyed our stay and loved the pool and the grounds to walk around on. Staff was very accommodating! The breakfast was very good on the first day or two but did somewhat decline in quality. Overall, a great stay!
- 3/5
The hotel is fairly dated. The hallways, reception, common areas are dated and often dirty. I don't know how the hotel got such good ratings. The breakfast was really average, not great. The interior of the room was updated, thank goodness, but the partial glass shower door was poorly designed and the shower water sprayed on the floor of the bathroom. I wouldn't recommend this hotel due to it's dated condition. The service was good though as we forgot the phone and the reception called us to let us know.

Comfortable beds and spacious room.

Very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was very good. Every encounter I had with with people working there was pleasant and helpful.

Been here before & find it very nice and accommodating but this was not my favorite room, location was great but upon entering spilled some water & when I wiped it up the towel was dirty from wiping the floor so guess they didn’t mop it, but the rest of the room and bath were very clean

Great customer service. The room was clean, spacious, comfortable bed and linens. Breakfast was excellent with both warm and cold choices. The only down side is the absence of an elevator.
- 5/5
Nice hotel- the hotel seems historic but our room was remodeled and up to date- I liked the juxtaposition of it.
- 5/5
Breakfast room was a nice size, plenty of seating with a nice assortment of food. Plenty of parking. Would stay here again.

We really liked this hotel. We were attending an event in Saratoga and it was a bit of a drive. The rooms were nice although a little dated.
- 5/5
The hotel and food were amazing! The staff were hospitable. But don’t use door dash! They steal your food!

The keys for my room was not working. Door was very hard to open when I do open after getting the stuff two times.

Staff
- 2/5
The fire alarm went off at about 4:50 am and the staff later told us that it has happened more than a few times before! That’s just wrong when the management doesn’t care about the customers losing sleep ! No one was at the front desk when we tried to check in and the stairs are a drag to take the suitcases on.

It was a great place to stay. I would stay there again.

Very nice

No elevator, be prepared to carry your luggage up a flight of stairs if you are on the 2nd floor. Breakfast tasted like leftovers (French toast) not warm. Poor evening staff. Complementary coffee in the lobby was always cold, but great cookies at 3pm. When I went down early to grab a cup of coffee I got to hear the day staff complain about the night staff, even though they were correct. Loud and smelly room AC. Nice pool. Good location. Employees from the Lexus dealership next door used prime guest parking spots. The first days stay there was a car in the parking lot up on 4 jacks missing wheels and tires.

We have stayed here before and love the location and amenities. The breakfast here is one of the best. This quaint hotel does not have an elevator so keep that in mind. It is only 2 floors but if you have a good amount of luggage plan accordingly. I believe you can request a first floor room prior to your arrival by contacting the hotel.

Front desk and breakfast staff were SO friendly and helpful! Lots of upgrades to the room had been made (new shower, sink, some decorations) but furniture was pretty worn out yet. Main areas of property look worn too. Pool was nice peaceful area to relax. Rooms were set back well from main road so fairly quiet. We didn't have opportunity to try main restaurant but the free breakfast was a great perk.

Friendly and cooperative staff.

My husband and I stayed 3 nights and will definitely return next time we're in the area! Alfonso was so incredibly kind and helpful when we arrived and throughout the duration of our stay. Thank you for a great experience!

This property and its staff is so beautiful and friendly/professional. This was my 2nd stay as a stop over to another location. Will be staying again next month!

Nice size rooms clean facilities nice pool

There’s a restaurant on property. It’s nice. It’s convenient. After a long day’s drive it’s nice to sit down, relax and have a nice meal with drinks. I appreciated that. It’s a nice place. I’m not sure what the issue was with the room and the odor however I’ll likely give the place another try since they make an effort to be a full service hotel with a reasonable price

Nothing was too much trouble. Overall happy stay

It is dog friendly, the grounds are ver nice, pool is nice. The on site restaurant and bar are historic and nice. This stay we noticed alittle mildew smell in the room. The fire alarm went off at 5 am. We sat in our car for about an hour. No fire was located- however no communication from Hotel Mgt occurred during or after the fire trucks left. A missed opportunity.

Staff was accomodating.

Clean, well maintained. Friendly and helpful staff

Very classy property for the price. Great breakfast. Appreciated the EV charging option.

The staff were ok. Felt that they could have put out the coffee and cookies before our check out and maybe smiled a-little more. Check-in was even less accommodating . The best was the wonderful lady who took care of breakfast(she has a soft beautiful accent and was super kind to my daughters). Location is great but probably wouldn’t stay here again due to listening to staff complaining and the people working on renovating the rooms constantly swearing which was not fun to hear when you are with your 6 and 8 year old children. I booked this hotel because of the ratings but it was somewhat

We stayed in a lot of hotels over the course of our 3 week vacation and I must say that this one- The Century House in Latham- was by far my favorite. I was not expecting that when I picked Latham as the town to stop in that night. This hotel is historic and well maintained. Their breakfast spread was AMAZING. Loved the formality of glass plates and coffee mugs and real silverware instead of plastic (as you see in most hotels.). The staff was friendly and happy and hard working. The room was quiet and comfortable. Parking was easy and plentiful. 10/10 would recommend this place and I absolutely want to stay there again if/when we travel that way again. Great job Century House!!!

We also did not like that the pool wasnt locked. There were locals in there thay seemed to come often. We also didnt like we could het a late checkout.

We have been coming since 2018. We love it here especially the restaurant, but it is in desperate need of refurbishing! Our room wasn't as clean as other years. Time for us to move on

Great choice for overnight stay as we attended concert at The MVP Arena. Nice spacious and very clean room. Pet friendly with a nice walking path on the property that was perfect for walking our dog. Front desk folks very nice and helpful. Breakfast lady Linda was a morning delight.

Quiet and comfortable, helpful staff.

This hotel is located well off a main road, makingbone of the quietest city hotels we have experienced. Everything was very clean. The included breakfast was excellent.

and in the bathroom was obvious and disappointing. The toilet paper was on top of the toilet with no holder—and crosses the line for me. staff was lovely and breakfast was definitely better than we have a most hotels.

Beautifully kept, super friendly staff, comfy beds. A great place to stay.

The price was reasonable and the room is spacious-however the breakfast was one of the worst I have had in recent years -which was sad
