I’m not a big reviewer so I’ll keep this short and to the point. One of the best places to stay in all of Florida.

The history and charm of Blue Seas can not be described. As soon as you walk in, you are treated like a nearest and dearest friend. Gary, the manager, is visible and checks in with everyone. Rachel makes sure your room has all you need each day; and greets you with a smile! The other vacationers return to Blue Seas year after year, and we can see why. The pool is a gathering place where stories are shared and memories are made. I’m so glad after all of our searching, we chose to stay there. Here’s to future trips By The Sea…

The Blue Seas Courtyard exceeded our expectations. The owners live on site and are very personable. They treat every guest as a personal friend. The hand painted decor was beautiful. The pool area was very inviting. The location was perfect. It was very quiet and relaxing yet a short walk to restaurants, bars, gift shops and nightlife. Many guest were staying for an extended stay. We highly recommend this resort.

The hotel is clean, nice and very stylish. The manager and the owner are very nice and friendly persons. The beaches are long and have a nice white sand. The ocean is big and warm and has a lot of interesting places for diving and snorkeling. Many shops and cafes, including a local mall, are within walking distance. All these lots of geckos and the palm trees are present. Highly recommend!

Most attractive hotel and grounds, almost like we were transported to Mexico! The owners/staff were most welcoming!

The Blue Seas was wonderful, from check in to check out! Cute, clean and friendly. I loved how the place was decorated and how quiet it was all the time. It was within walking distance of food, beach and entertainment. They are also very accommodating for late flights and a place to wait it out. Thank you! We will return for sure.

I had a recent 4 day / 3 night stay at Blue Seas Courtyard and would 1000% recommend. I have not a single complaint of the property!! The location was great, quiet and relaxing, and very charming. I was in and out alot, so I didn't see Marc but met Christie, who was very sweet and helpful. She showed me around the property when I checked in. I greatly enjoyed and will definitely be staying again!! - Amy

We think the greatest asset is location to Lauderdale by the Sea. 5 minute to walk to 10/15 restaurants, ice cream and some shops.

We really enjoyed this small quiet hotel that is perfectly located in Lauderdale by the Sea. There are lots of great restaurants and shopping within walking distance. Will definitely stay again.

This property is super cute. Very uniquely decorated. It's in a great location, close to the beach and restaurants. Very nice pool. Just a bit dated.

The beautiful boutique bed and breakfast had only 12 rooms and an amazing Hacienda style decor in the interior rooms and all surrounding yards and pool. Each room had a full kitchenette. Free parking in front of the property in a quiet safe neighborhood. The owners were friendly and easily available as they live on the property!

Amazing little boutique style hacienda hotel with a very friendly staff. I arranged to have balloons delivered to the room for my wife’s birthday and Gary at the front desk assisted. It made for a wonderful trip for my wife and me.

We really enjoyed our 2-week stay. It’s a spectacular property and it is walking distance to restaurants, bars, liquor stores, pharmacies, and grocery stores. We rented a car because we wanted to see Miami, Palm Beach, and drive through the Keys. But many guests don’t rent a car because it isn’t necessary - everything you need is in Lauderdale-By-The-Sea. The beach is only steps away and has amazing white sand. Blue Seas Courtyard offers free beach chairs and umbrella’s for the beach, free bikes, and there is a washer and dryer you can use for a small fee. Guests sit around a central pool playing cards, and chatting with new friends over a drink (or two…). Don’t delay - book your vacation at Blue Seas Courtyard. You won’t regret it.

This was a comfortable, clean room in an interesting, well-decorated hotel. It was perfect for our weekend stay.

I loved everything about the property. We were all set to fly out to Cabo when our trip was canceled for a hurricane. So we booked flights to Florida for the next morning and chose this amazing hotel! It’s likely my favorite place I’ve ever stayed! Gary and Christie were so wonderful. The beds were comfortable. It was immaculate and clean. It felt just like paradise sitting by the pool and you can walk to everything. I can’t wait to come back! Nothing. It was perfect!

The Blue Seas Courtyard exceeded all my expectations. The owners and staff were extremely welcoming and helpful with anything we needed. The room was clean and comfy. Locations to the beach, restaurants, Publix and CVS was in walking distance. The grounds are well kept and the pool is conveniently outside the room. This will be our annual go to for our annual vacation. It’s a hidden gem ♥️

It took me 2 days of searching to find my Happy place. Then I found it. The place is so welcoming and bright. They have decorated this place so cute. The rooms so so amazing. With every you would need umbrella invade it rains, beach towels, beach chairs, coffee pot and filters. It has a full kitchen and the place is so clean. They are alway there if you have questions or if you need anything. I am already play my tri to come back the beach is a 1 min walk if that and so clean. Most of the resultants and within a 5 min walk distance. The perfect place

Absolutely beautiful place and wonderful owners and staff. We enjoyed the pool area and all of the artwork in every corner of the property. Also within a few blocks are a ton of choices for restaurants and shopping.

It was our 36th Wedding Anniversary for our short 2 night stay, but that was all that was available. Loved everything about our stay. Vrry comfortable with good friendly neighbors many long term guests 60days+.

We loved the Mexican Hacienda decor. The hotel is very quiet as you relax during the days sitting by the pool. The hotel staff (Marc, Cristie, Gary and Cha) are fantastic. All of them are customer centric! We met some wonderful people who were also guests of the hotel. Loved that it is so close to the beach and, shopping and restaurants. We will definitely be staying there again.

Great management and convenient to ice cream. A few days were cloudy, but I don't blame the motel for this.

We had a great relaxing time when we stayed at Blue Seas Courtyard. Very clean and well maintained. Heated pool was 86, went in morning and night. We drove down from Wisconsin with beach chairs and umbrella,but did not need because they provide them and bicyles, next time we will fly. Beach is half a block away and restaurants one block. We made or breakfast in our room because it has a stove and pans for cooking. Felt very safe all the time, walked to dinner at night and came home late without a worry. Publix grocery store just a few blocks away, so we could get steaks and grill them on the grill they provide. If I had a complaint it would be how did 10 days go so fast. we are already plaining when we can go back.

This is a great little spot to get away! Staff is incredibly friendly and you feel very welcomed the entire stay. Rooms were very clean and well kept with great decorations! Beach and local little restaurants are very close walking distance. 10/10 recommend!!

The property location was perfect for us. Very short ride to Ft. Lauderdale for my drift fishing charter with Flamingo, 15 min. Ten to twelve restaurants within 700 ft. The rating of excellent is for the cost that you pay for the room. Everything was very good even the heated pool. There for 10 days and will be back again. Guy

The owners and staff were so accommodating and always around to answer any questions or help. It was so nice that beach towels and chairs were available for our quick walk to the beach. The decor was so bright and cheery. We had a wonderful stay.

Amazing place with immaculate vibes! A hidden gem within walking distance to the town center. Owners and staff went above and beyond to accommodate and provide free umbrellas, chairs, and bikes for all your beach needs. Will definitely be staying again.

While hoteliers cannot control who visits, they need to check behavior that interferes with the enjoyment of other guests. Thus, the small, intimate setting was a plus-minus as it was impossible to avoid the loud/rude guests despite enjoying the setting and a really lovely hotel in other ways.

This is a special place. We loved everything about it. Wonderful rooms and amazing pool. Owners/staff were present and fun and welcoming. It's just across a very quiet street from the beach and the hotel provides everything you need to go - towels, beach chairs, umbrellas. Restaurants and shopping are just a few steps away.

What a gem! Absolutely beautiful place half a block to the beach and a block to the heart of downtown Lauderdale-by-the-Sea. Super colorful, tastefully decorated with hacienda vibes, stunningly clean rooms, nice pool with outdoor shower to wash off any sand before going into your room. Owners live on the property and are super friendly nice folks, plus they have the cutest pup who is super friendly roaming around the property. You really feel like you’re visiting someone’s home as opposed to staying at some boring hotel room. Oh! And they have refillable environmentally friendly organic soap, shampoo, and conditioner which was soft of the skin and smelled amazing. They have a cute binder with information about the hotel and area that we found helpful to read through. I would certainly recommend this to friends and family visiting the area, and would go back as well. Really neat place and different experience from staying at the huge hotels in Ft. Lauderdale like I was used to doing. Go and stay! You will not be disappointed.

Great rooms, and decor!

What a wonderful couple that hosted our stay. I loved the hand painted walls and decor. Upon researching multiple hotels in the same price range, this was by far the most beautiful bang for my buck! The hotel’s outdoor lights reflected outside and it was a beautiful sight to see. Wonderful stay and helpful staff! Will definitely come back again.

This place is amazing. Family owned and charming . Each milimiter of this property is thought through. The location is great , walking distance to the store, farmer marker, pier and ocean! We definitely be back!

Nice boutique hotel great location .

This is the coolest, little boutique hotel. The owners are on site if you need anything. The rooms are comfortable with everything you need ready to use. They have wonderful bath products and towels to use. They have free use of beach chairs, beach umbrellas, bikes, etc. There's a number of shops and restaurant options within walking distance, and you feel very secure with door locks, 24 hour video monitoring, etc. I can't wait to make this an annual trip and we already look forward to next year.

In seven days the bedding was not changed and the room was not cleaned

Charming

This was a beautifully Mexican style decorated place right across from the beach. The owners are really nice. The pool was clean, it was quiet and a very nice place to get away.

This is a small business owned property and the owners put a ton of effort and detail into their business and making sure their guests are comfortable. When I first got to my room, there was an issue with the lock and within 5 minutes of calling the owners, Cristie and Marc immediately stopped by to fix it. They also live on the property and you can tell they really care about their guests having a great experience. The room was clean and well air-conditioned, and they have chairs, umbrellas, and beach towels to borrow. The property is a 5 minute walk from dining and other stores like publix and cvs. The beach is also about a 2 minute walk. The neighborhood vibe is very laid back and I really enjoyed my stay and this neighborhood. I'm already looking into when I can come back for a stay!

The place is set up as a Mexican Hacienda. You could tell that each piece of art on the proporty was hand picked to fit. The owner lives and works on the property and was very friendly.

Very quiet, very close to beaches, restaurants, grocery store, close to diving access. The gentleman were very nice and the room was clean, very comfortable bed. Would definitely stay here again and definitely recommend.

We were so pleased with the location of this hotel!! Across the street from the beach, walking distance from the main drag with a ton of restaurant options and night life, but far enough to be quiet when you get back to your room. Publix supermarket, coffee shops and a dollar store are nearby for anything you forgot. The manager, Gary, and the owners were very friendly, as were the other guests. Rooms are nicely decorated Mexican Hacienda style and have small, but comfortable kitchens. Everything is warm and charming. Make time to dine at Sea Watch restaurant on the water. Fantastic food, service and ocean view. We will definitely come back again.

Unique property. Small boutique hotel with great location. You can walk everywhere. They had beach chairs, umbrellas and bikes, which was awesome since we flew in. Rooms very clean with small kitchens. Staff very friendly. Will definitely return!

This property was just a short walk to the beach! This property is within walking distance to pretty much everything you would need for a vacation! There are many restaurants & bars with music for the evening. The pier is also within walking distance.

It is a vacation spot that you can really relax.

I was a little unsure when we booked this place, knowing about other independent hotels in S. FL, but when we got there the place far exceeded what we thought it would be. The property was decorated beautifully as well as the room. We said it was like staying in the Mexico pavilion at Disney. It is a small, homey place and everyone was very friendly. If we go back to that area, we will stay there again.

It wasn't crowded. The location was perfect. Usually when I travel I rent a car. This time I did not bc I seen that it was in walking distance of everything. I think the longest we walked to where we were going was nine minutes. My children loved it and did not want to return home. They loved when we returned back that first night and everything was so lit up. They were so excited bc it was beautiful. I would definitely recommend this place. We will be returning.

The property is peaceful and relaxing. We had an opportunity to meet other guests around the pool. Everyone was friendly and kind. The hotel is small and cozy. We’ll definitely go back.

Hotel gets decent reviews, I believe mostly based on it’s location. It is convenient to beach, to restaurants, to nightlife. Although, it’s pricey in comparison to other attributes. Owners live on sight, so you feel a little watched. Clanking and cleaning starts early in the morning outside your door. Wi-Fi here is the absolute worst. Dead spaces everywhere. TV is even lesser in quality. Owners were extremely nice...except when you bring up the notion of inviting guests. In a larger hotel, nothing at all would be said. We tried this, thinking more quaint, welcoming, accessible...not ideal for us.

Since there were adjacent families with small children nearby our stay was very noisy.
