Great place, definitely only place I stay when I visit

Staff was helpful.Room was large.Property is dated and needs some maintinance but was clean.

The room was a good size and good facilities. Air con very good. Parking easy to access and was appreciated. We would stay again for sure. The only thing we didn’t like was the people sat right outside our room door and window smoking causing our room to smell of cigarette smoke.

This property was lovely. Room was spacious and well appointed, even down to including games and puzzles for a rainy day. Beach chairs were available and plentiful; beach towels were provided. Since we had some rainy days during our stay, having the full kitchen to cook and the grills outside was really great. We didn't use the pool, but it was well kept, clean and quiet. We did use the tables around the pool one evening after the beach and it was very relaxing. Staff was helpful and accommodating.

The next day, I asked a simple question about whether our room would be cleaned. Instead of answering, Ami responded with, “Didn’t you just get here last night?!” which came off as sarcastic and unhelpful. When I pointed out her ongoing attitude, she brushed it off and still didn’t answer the question, instead telling me to use the “Do Not Disturb” sign. At that point, I just walked away. It’s unfortunate because the property itself has potential, but customer service like this really affects the overall experience. Guests especially first-time visitors should feel welcomed and comfortable.

Well maintained older property, great location if you want to be near the ocean but not pay to be on the beach. No problem parking, but might be a problem if they're at high occupancy.

Quaint, well kept property. Staff helpful and efficient. Pool area is relaxing. No on site ameneties, but with a fully equipped kitchen and a supermarket in walking distance , it it not an issue. Ami at front desk is quite amiable and helpful . As an older LGTB+ couple, we were well recieved. Property is a 5 minute walk from Pier, which has loads of eateries. Priced for all budgets. The Village Grill gets a shout out for food quality and price. For a couple I highly reccommend The Sea Garden by the sea

It’s an older Motel but it was cute, clean, had great front desk staff, and was a great location to walk to the beach and to the restaurants. I would definitely recommend

We loved our stay at the Sea Garden. The rooms, while no frills, were clean and exactly what we needed for a pool/beach vacation, with very comfortable beds. Ami and the cleaning staff were incredibly attentive and accommodating. We loved lounging by the pool, sitting in the shaded court yard, and the short walk to the beach and downtown. We will definitely stay here in the future!

We had a great stay.The only things I would suggest to make things easier is to have a safe in the room and to have a shelf next to the sink.

2nd time staying here. Staff very accommodating, pool was heated! . Rooms are basic but clean. Ask for room in the back street noise can be loud at night. Would stay again

The room was ok, walls were dirty, I normally wouldn’t nit pick, but the front desk women was efficient, was not professional, she yelled at the housekeeping across the pool and told them when responded to keep it down when she was the one who yelled across the pool, housekeeping was very pleasant, front desk women think her name was Amie, she also was in my room when I had do not disturb sign on, asked me if I was smoking in my room….i thought to myself why did she go in my room with sign on at the same time she said the exterminator had to get in, well I think exterminator should do its job while guest are checked out! Or at least let me know exterminator is coming. Not going back was ther for 3 nights

Small live roach crawled out from underneath living room sofa. Bathroom tub was somewhat clogged, slow drain.

This is an older motel, that is close to a busy road. Although it was clean and reasonably comfortable the rooms are starting to show their age. Couldn’t get the TV to work and our toilet leaked and the water cut in every 3 to 4 minutes. Was not fixed during our stay.

cute place; convenient. my only comment was the property manager (some lady) made me feel awful by saying "you pulled a good one over Melissa" because there was a rate difference from expedia to what the property was going to charge me. Melissa did the right thing and honored rate thru expedia. housekeepers are super friendly/nice and pools great!!!

Melissa at the front desk was so kind and helpful! She suggested a great restaurant with amazing food and strong, tasty drinks. The pool was the cleanest outdoor pool I've ever seen. The rest of the property was very clean as well. This was great walking distance to the beach and shopping. Would definitely stay here again.

Awesome property and location

The place is just perfect. Not to big, has a family friendly feel. The pool is super nice. Parking is easy and convenient. Publix is a 3 minute walk. The beach less than 5. The best is the management and room services. They care and want to make sure your stay is perfect. Also you have access to laundry and a grill. GIVE THIS PLACE A STAY. 🌴💕

This is the second time we stayed here. Love it! We forgot our key one night, called the number and the staff was able to help right away. Downtown is just a 10 min walk. We'll be coming back again.

Amy at office was friendly, knowledgeable about area and introduced us to Circuit app for getting around to further destinations. Walkable to beach, shopping plaza with lots of options. Even to area with multiple restaurants was only 10-15 minute walk going slow. Will definitely return.

The room is in definite need of help. The bathrooms were absolutely disgusting. The drain in the tub was clogged. The room itself the walls are all scuffed. The refrigerator has marks and dents all over the front of it definite need of TLC in this room, very disappointed as we were looking forward to be close to Lauderdale by the sea couldn’t wait to check out

This is my second time staying here. The management staff is fabulous. Clean towels when you need them. The pool has sun all day and is also extremely clean. I plan on coming back next year

Great place to stay, staff friendly, walking distance to most anything.

We had the best time at Sea Garden by the Sea. The room was amazing, spacious and very clean. From the moment we got there to when we left, Ami, who worked there was the best. Any questions we had, she was always ready to answer. The walkability was perfect. The town was right down the road. The town had every type of food and entertainment. The beach was a block away. Ami supplied us with beach chairs, beach towels and beach umbrellas, which was a life saver. E can’t wait to go back!!!

We really enjoyed this charming little motel. The manager was very nice and took the time to come to the room and show me a few things. There are plates, utensils and glasses so that you can cook in the little kitchen. The full size fridge is really convenient. You can very easily walk downtown and despite being right on the A1A , it is very quiet. Would go there again!

The room should never been rented out. Mold mildew dirt coming out of the AC. Mold on the ceiling. Mold on ceiling he tube. Wires hanging off the wall. Not goo at all.

The room was very small, but did have a refrigerator and microwave.

Great location for our get away! Amie was a great host. Use of the Gas grill was wonderful for us, close to the Publix and Dunkin’ Donuts!! Beach access in walking distance. Pool was wonderful! Easy walk into lauderdale by the sea.

This was our first time in this area. I picked our room based on the pictures on the website. I wasn't happy with our room (109) because it wasn't like the pictures I expected at all. The manager Ami worked with us and tried to make things better for our stay. Although we were super disappointed in the room we had we still made the best of it and had a good time. The beach was close by with many restaurant options along with Publix close by. We would come to this area again. If we stayed here we would make sure we got a larger room that fit our needs.

The owner was a gracious host. She told us about the area and showed us to our room. The property has a pool bbq that is for use and is clean and beautiful as well as beach gear that is available The room was spotless and there was a small kitchen area with full size fridge stove and oven. Beds were comfortable.

We loved the pool area, it was clean and comfortable and we loved all the extras like the small library and the box of pool toys, beach chairs and umbrellas. I would highly recommend this property. We stayed here 4 nights and had a really wonderful time.

Nice, clean boutique motel. We stayed in the 1 bedroom apartment on the second floor and were very happy with how big it was. The bed was comfortable. The sectional inside is small and not that comfy, but we didn't spend much time watching TV. Clean kitchen and bathroom.

He was such a pleasant day. Everything was very clean. The front desk lady was very nice even left my sandals out by the pool one morning and found them sitting in front of my door. Excellent will definitely be back.

The good things .Nice location ,2 blocks from beach. Cool enough ac only goes as low 61. Bed was comfortable.quite enough not too noisy at all. Didn’t use the pool but it looked clean and nice. bad things Bathroom was outdated and paint was chipping everywhere. Black scuff marks on the walls. Dust all over the bed Frame and other furniture . Not very clean. Was only a half roll of toilet paper. But asked for more and got it. Should have not have moved in with only half roll . Maybe place wasn’t properly, clean to begin with.

We went to enjoy the 4th of July long weekend. We were wondering how the experience was going to be, because it was the first time going to this place. IT WAS A WONDERFUL EXPERIENCE, we loved it so much, we promised we are going to be regulars going to spend weekends there. Ami, the property manager was amazing, very friendly. We will be back for sure, every time we can.

The first night a group had a party in the pool with quite a few quests that were not staying there. It was very loud and went on until about 10:30 PM. I complained to the manager in the morning, and she seemed more annoyed that she had to come over to break up the party, than me being upset about it. Overall, the property was clean and in a good location to walk to the beach and restaurants. When we checked in, the manager was very nice. However, that first night just really put a damper on our stay and I didn't appreciate the manager's reaction to my complaint.

Room was very clean, cozy, organized. It had all needed amenities for a weekend getaway at the beach. Beach was a quick 5 minute walk.

We stayed 6 nights in a King 1 bedroom apt right off the pool. The place is so clean and the staff extremely accommodating. Great location - 4 minute walk to the beach - resort provides beach towels, chairs, umbrellas, bikes. Publix right around the corner and an Aldi within a mile. Walking distance to downtown area and restaurants and all the area has to offer. Best option if not able to do right on the beach.

Great place, I only stay there

The location was excellent. The staff was very helpful. The pool is nice and heated. The room was clean and well equipped. The big drawback was that my room was on the first floor, with 4 big windows, none of which had functioning locks. The door also opened itself at random, and had no chain lock. The privacy lock was broken. The office had closed by the time I realized all this, so I dealt with it. Other than these issues, which were a pretty big deal to me, the place was a great option at a great price.

Our stay at Sea Garden by the Sea was top class. The staff were friendly, the room and pool area were very clean and the kitchen was well quipped. We stayed with our 6 and 8 year old children who loved the pool area. It is less than 5 minutes walk to the beach and supermarket and approx 10 minutes to bars and restaurants. Our accommodation had a lounge area with a sofa bed if we had needed it. There were beach chairs, parasols and childrens beach toys available to use which was an added bonus for us.

Staff were friendly, ready to answer any questions and share info about the area. Because it's a smaller scale than the big chain hotels, there's a personal service provided. You get to know and be friends with others staying as you see them in the pool area. Bikes are provided FREE and such a fun way to get around.

Staff was helpful and friendly. Property needs upgrades/repairs of electrical and plumbing. In particular, the room air conditioner is very noisy and the electricity went out on it while we were there. Staff responded quickly to the problem. Also, the handle in the shower was not adjustable so it took awhile for water to get hot.

Small no frills efficiency rooms some bigger than others ours was a room with a full kitchen . Rooms were clean bed very comfortable Aime who is at front desk very nice and helpful cleaning staff very nice as well. Very short walk to cvs and Publix ten min walk to heart of town with several dinning options

The Lady who ran everything was wonderful and helpful, she showed us around and helped in any way she could. Our unit was large and clean.

We hadn't been there in about14 years look the same traffic more frequent busy at times.Staff everyone was quiet friendly weather was fine 70's it is a older building alot of them around there are.We found walmart target eas could walk to the resturants in town or free shuttle.

Great place to stay! Heated pool area with nice tables and chairs to hang out at. Plus a bbq for those that choose to eat at the motel, or cook in the cute kitchenette that each room offers. Staff is very accommodating and keeps the rooms very clean. Close to shopping, restaurants and bars. There are options for getting around town.

Would be good to include in the initial price all additional fees charged at the time of the hotel check in.

Location was great, 10 minute walk to bars, restaurants, beaches, and shopping. Room was clean and quiet. Nothing fancy but perfect for active people who want a quiet place to sleep and maybe take a dip in the pool. Really didn't spend a lot of time in the room, we were out enjoying the beach life!!!!
