- Friendly, welcoming, and helpful staff
- Some guests found the beds uncomfortable
- Occasional noise from traffic

Great facilities - highly recommended.
- 4/5
We enjoyed the room and the pool! The only negative was there were no extra sheets for the pullout couch so we were unable to use it for our son. We also were only given one large bath towel, the other two were small. Other than that it was a good place to stay. Great location and we were lucky to have privacy!
- 5/5
great respectable service
- 4/5
Room was very clean. The only reason I didn’t give a 5 star is that the pool didn’t look clean. I’m not sure how often it is maintained as there is no staff on-site.
- 3/5
The place was cozy and in a great location
- 5/5
Very clean, great safe location and the room was spacious! Would def recommend and come back!!
- 4/5
Very "rustic". Great proximity to the beach and fairly quiet. Has some but old fashioned, quirky furnishings so dont expect a chain hotel feel.
- 4/5
Clean and comfortable. Easy check-in.
- 5/5
Excellent staff and very close to the ⛱️ beach
- 5/5
Excellent

- 5/5
An amazing getaway in a cozy little beach side unit. Great distance to everything, amazing pool and property. Staff was friendly and polite, definitely going to be back.
- 5/5
Greg was very helpful and understanding when I needed to change my reservation.
- 5/5
Great location. Everything we needed was within walking distance (beach, grocery store, and shopping center), but far enough where it’s quiet. Area was safe and quiet. Room was clean and spacious. 10/10 will check in again in the future.
- 5/5
Our stay was an excellent. It was very quiet and safe feeling for my family of 5. Everything was within walking distance. They even provided beach equipment! Wonderful stay, and highly recommend!
- 5/5
Great place
- 4/5
We loved the room.. all the little touches, and attention to detail. Almost everything you need was provided to make it feel like home... plus had a private patio area you could sit out to relax in the morning or after a long day.

Amazing
- 5/5
everything was wonderful at this property. The pool room was adorable. I only have one complaint. The couch was very hard to sleep in. I needed a sore cushion on top of it other than that everything was great.
- 5/5
Great Option!
- 5/5
Was a great location.
- 5/5
Very well appointed in a great location.
- 5/5
Excellent location and very friendly staff, this is the second time we have stayed there and we will continue to recommend them and come back whenever we can.
- 4/5
Quaint hotel. Conveniently located. Staff helpful but limited English. I would recommend.
- 5/5
For the price, the Seacrest can’t be beat. Big, spacious bedroom with comfortable King bed, nice living/mini kitchen area an updated bathroom. Great location as well, just a block from the beach. The beach chairs need replacing as well as the pool lounges, and the pool itself was like a hot tub! Overall, a great place to stay!
- 4/5
The Hotel Seacrest was a nice cozy place to be if you want to have a beach getaway. Even though you did not have the ability of opening your back door and viewing the beach but the walking distance to the beach it was as if the beach was in your backyard. You were in the middle of everything from the Dollar store,Walmart,Publix even Ace hardware. Everything was conveniently located around you. And the area was so quiet and neighbors so friendly. I would stay here again when I return.
- 5/5
It was great. 😊 the amenities were wonderful, room was lovely, king size bed, kitchenette. Pool, one block from the beach. We couldn’t ask for more.
- 5/5
The place was clean had a little kitchenette if you needed it anytime we needed extra towels or toilet paper we called and someone would bring it and leave it on the chair outside our room. The pool outside was clean. We had a great stay and we would come again.😊

Is nice place, quiet it is the best
- 5/5
The property was conveniently located in the area we were looking for, close to the beach, and the accommodation conditions were excellent. I highly recommend it and hope to return soon.
- 5/5
Amazing place! 10/10 recommend!! Close to beach and relaxing property
- 5/5
Everything was great and clean!
- 4/5
Cozy and clean. Close to beach , restaurants and shopping… all very walkable. Nice and quiet.
- 5/5
Close to beach
- 5/5
Close to the beach and beach towels and chairs were available for use
- 5/5
We were very satisfied with our stay at Hotel Seacrest. It was disappointing that the pool was closed but besides that, everything met or exceeded expectations. They even accommodated a last minute request for a late checkout when our flight was delayed. I am looking forward to staying at HC again soon!
- 5/5
Great location! Great stay!
- 3/5
This spot had so many positive reviews and I was really looking forward to spending my vacation here. While I was able to make it work for a short stay, I would not recommend longer than a weekend. The hotel has so much charm and character, but it is obvious that the current owners aren't investing anything into it anymore. The pool is "closed for maintenance" with signs everywhere but looks perfectly fine. Each room has a kitchenette and has strick rules about what you are allowed to cook inside the unit. The kitchenette was very sparsely equipped, I had to buy things just to make pasta. There was supposed to be a grill available for cooking meats and larger meals that are prohibited to make in the units, but the grill is completely rusted over to the point of being unsafe to use and doesn't even turn on. There were half used lotions and shampoos left for me and an open, used bar of soap left in the shower when I arrived. On the second day of my stay I noticed that the property is for sale which may be why the place feels neglected. I hope whom lever buys it treats it well because I'd love to stay agin once things are better.
- 5/5
I loved this property. It was so clean and quiet and the location was perfect. They were very kind helpful and accommodating. My stay was perfect.
- 2/5
Our stay at this property was disappointing from the start. Just before our arrival, we were notified that the pool was out of service and given the option to cancel. Unfortunately, it was too late to find a viable alternative, so we proceeded with the stay. The exterior of the property is clearly neglected. Landscaping is overgrown, weeds push through the patio stones, and there were animal droppings around the pool area. Despite the message saying the pool was only recently out of service, it looked like it had been unusable for much longer. Inside, the room was thankfully clean and comfortable, with a nice interior. It had a small mini fridge and microwave, but don’t expect to cook – the outdoor grill they suggest using was rusted beyond belief and likely inoperable. The biggest letdown was the lack of service. When we had an issue, we tried contacting the office but only reached voicemail. Emails went unanswered. The only response we got was from a number that had previously texted arrival info, but even that wasn’t helpful. We eventually resolved the issue ourselves, but it was clear that if we’d needed real assistance, we likely would have been on our own. Unfortunately, this stay fell far short of expectations, and we won’t be returning.
- 5/5
Room was excellent and recently remodeled I am assuming - pool was closed for maintenance during our stay which was the only down side.
- 3/5
However, the property is on sale right now, the maintenance is not good. It’s humidity and smells moldy. The bed is comfortable but humidity. The bathroom is very basic. The kitchenwares are not clean.
- 5/5
Thank you Greg for being so accommodating. We had a great stay.
- 2/5
I liked the room itself. Check-in was terrible! No one was in the office! I could barely get info because phone connection so poor.
- 5/5
Quiet and close to beach.
- 2/5
We had such expectations of this property as reviews were positive & we liked the idea of a smaller boutique style hotel in a quieter resort & near the coast. We picked the hotel as it had a pool & quiet pool area. We were on a cruise prior to our stay & did not have internet. When we docked, we had a message (only a couple of days old) to say the pool was out of action & awaiting maintenance. We had the option to cancel but it was too late to re-book anywhere else as it was spring break. We were only offered a $25 gift card for the inconvenience. I had a broken arm so we were relying on the pool area to relax as the beach was going to prove difficult. On arrival, there was no reception staff. The first room we were allocated had a moldy bathroom and window locks were broken. We struggled to make contact with the management as the only option was a US number which we could not use as we did not have international call facility. There is no reception, just a cleaning cupboard where the male was sat outside! We had to unpack as we could not make contact with anyone. We were eventually moved & there were issues with this room, broken locks, poorly maintained bathroom, gaps in front door etc. There is no housekeeping. It cannot be called a hotel as it offers no services. It is for sale so obvious no money being spent on it. Poorly maintained grounds. Further in depth review on Trip Advisor.
- 5/5
Great place right by the water, nice property and charming rooms. The only downside was that the pillows werent great.
- 5/5
Smaller, quiet, perfect place in #4 for 1 person.
- 3/5
Everything was great but we had an uncomfortable amount of mosquitos in our place. We stayed in #8 and it seemed like they were coming out of no where. We only stayed 2 nights so we got by and it wasn’t the worst experience I’ve ever had, but each night I had to spend 20mins killing bugs in our room before we went to bed so we didnt get bit. Only to find the next morning there were more. Hopefully the staff can take a look and get it fixed. There was also no toilet paper in the bathroom. I was excited because they had a 10/10 on Expedia and it didn’t live up to the expectations. Great experience but will find else where next time for a longer stay.
- 5/5
Property was very close to the beach. Area around it was quiet and safe
- 4/5
It was very quiet. I was traveling alone i felt very safe. Beach was vèry close. And grocery store down the block. I would vist again
- 1/5
Poor conditions, air conditioner didn't work, very hard to sleep, the pool was close, not enough towels,no pillowcase. Very expensive and very poor conditions!
- 5/5
close to the beach and night life but still quiet and homy
- 5/5
Easy to book, affordable, close to amenities and prompt reply to emails and texts
- 3/5
Quite basic but is good for being close to the sea and a major supermarket just up the road. We had to use the same towels 5 days in a row as no one came in to do the bed or anything so it’s not really like a hotel
- 3/5
Hopefully new ownership makes this place better because it could be great and is in a great area close to everything at Lauderdale by the Sea. It was fine for a one night stay but I wouldn't spend more than that.
- 4/5
Need to replace the beach umbrella, we got to the beach and the friction locking mechanism for the two poles to come together is broken. The solar remote for the tv is not a sustainable plan. It runs out of charge and you are stuck. This should be replaced. The property is nice, just needs some small tweaks.
- 5/5
Neighbourhood close to groceries and beach.
- 5/5
Clean, modern, quiet.
- 5/5
It was perfect! Very nice hide-away in the bustling Lauderdale by the Sea. The room had everything we needed and we appreciated the beach chairs and cart - a very nice touch.
- 5/5
We had an amazing stay! First, they were very responsive to my questions before-hand. The rooms were very modern and exceedingly clean. The location was superb. About a 3-4 minute walk to the uncrowded part of the beach. Loved that they provided beach cart, umbrella and two chairs. Saw someone complain about the quality of the chairs in another room, but they were good quality - perfect for us. There was a little rust, but that’s what you expect with salt water. We’d definitely come back again!
- 3/5
Relaxed, warm beachy area. Pool and outdoor area great. Unit roomy, comfy double bed, lounge and dining suite, TV options all good. Unfortunately, maintenance issues were a big downer. A sign on tgexwall warbs of large penaltues for missing or damaged beacg cgairs, cart, umbrella but when we arruved half the equipnent wasn't there. The water fliw from tge shower jep suddenly stooping abd it took a fair bit if time and fuddlung to get it going again, even after the maintenance person changed the shower head. Thus us no fun when lathered with soap and hair shampooed. Toilet seat was brojen. Nanagement response was prompt and good but folliw up maintainence was very poor. Despite promuses to cime vacj, toilet seat wasnt fixed during 4 days wexwere there only 2 two towels supplied and no room servicing was also disappointing. Without these issues, this would be a 5 star rating.
- 5/5
Great location and everything you need for your quick gate away! I will definitely stay here again!
- 4/5
Overall, property and room very good. Nice neighborhood and convenient to shopping and places to eat.
- 5/5
Very quiet. The stove did not work but we were only going to fry eggs or boil them. We used the microwave for heating up. Plenty of coffee and sugar and water. Lovely place to vacation.
- 5/5
Very convenient location!
- 4/5
We loved the Hotel Seacrest’s location! Near Publix, the beach, and dining! Quiet neighborhood and the pool and beach supplies were great! We would definitely come back again!
- 4/5
Comfortable; very clean; quiet. The host was very attentive and accommodating with our request for early occupancy.
- 1/5
Room itself was fine, but charging a $75 per day when it was too late to cancel and findsomething else is
- 3/5
TV remote did not function correctly, went on and off spontaneously, couldn’t change channels or control volume. Air conditioner made terrible noise on last night, had to turn it off. Beach chairs and umbrellas broken or in bad shape. Advertised amenities not present ie. laundry facilities, shopping boutique. No management on site to deal with issues. House keeping staff did not speak English so commicating problems was difficult.
- 3/5
Spacious but floor was filthy. Dangerous step from bedroom that was a major tripping hazard.
- 5/5
The proximity to facilities was very rewarding and the peacefulness of the area was pleasant. Would recommend this facility to others.
- 5/5
Excellent location, we enjoyed the strolls to the beach and shops all within 5-10 mins away, tons of options for restaurants. The hotel was amazing and very responsive to all our questions and concerns. Very flexible with our check in and out times
- 5/5
This place has a fantastic location. Many dinning options within walking distance along with a grocery store close by. 2 blocks away from the beach and the amenities they let you use such as chairs, grill and our room had a kitchen helps out a lot. Would definitely stay here again! Thank you
- 4/5
Great place. However, I spent 3 nights there on the coldest days in Florida this year. Heater did not work and I had to sleep in coat and clothes. Nobody on property to deal with this issue
- 5/5
Very quiet area near the beach, very nice accommodations, didn't feellike a hotel at all, would recommend
- 5/5
Nice access to beach and restaurants and were able to use hotel’s beach chairs for the beach.
- 5/5
Nice pool area-quiet spot ! I will return here!
- 5/5
The refrigerator was small.
- 5/5
clean, comfortable and reasonably-priced.
- 5/5
What an adorable yet modern inn! Love the bed it was the best sleep I had in months. The air conditioning was so cold and cozy at night. The kitchen is perfect for light eating and the updated details in the unit made it feel classy yet casual! Loved it

- 5/5
Perfect spot- just a block away from the beach. Nice quiet street and the pool was so nice. Had everything we needed.
- 5/5
It is a very well maintained and manage property. We only saw staff once or twice through our time but communication was very good through messaging. Everything is painted up, trimmed and maintained. The unit looks out on the swimming pool as the other units with a pleasant decor. There is a modest yet effective kitchenette, which allows you to prepare light meals with a microwave, cook top, toaster, coffee maker, small refrigerator and sink. The bed was very comfortable and clean. The bathroom was pleasantly finished clean and spacious. The pool was lightly used, it was heated and you can have a private day as people infrequently came and went. Pleasant surprise to have available and free beach chairs, sun umbrella and transport carts on offer. We enjoyed our stay, it was a four minute walk to a major grocery store or the beach or a little further to the waterfront tourist area with restaurants and shops. There is really no better location or arrangement. Good value for the cost. We would rebook or recommend without hesitation.
- 5/5
Great little hotel in the heart of Lauderdale by the see.
- 5/5
Very clean, updated room. Great bed and climate control. Awesome pool that I used everyday with comfortable loungers and other chairs. Loved the “extras”…beach chairs, towels, beach cart to pull everything. Location was perfect…minutes from the beach, go North a few blocks to a grocery store, breakfast spot and CVS . About 5 blocks South is all the restaurant and dining options (on Commericial Ave.) No rental car is needed. You can walk to what you need. We will definitely be back.
- 5/5
Very clean, comfy bed, excellent location
- 5/5
We could not have been more pleased with our choice to stay here and all of the accommodations. Everything was simple and straightforward - from booking, communication about check-in and what was expected at our departure. The room was incredible! Many thoughtful touches - large and small - made our stay comfortable. The room was spotless and cozy. We will definitely return!
- 5/5
Property is clean, quiet, and safe. Bed was comfy. I've stayed here several times caring for my elderly parents who live in Fort Lauderdale. It is conveniently located and close to Holy Cross hospital.
- 5/5
Nice place. Will come back again
- 5/5
Great place!
- 5/5
Great updated older motel walking distance to restaurants/bars and just 1 block to the beach with easy access.
- 5/5
It was great! Easy to check in by email.
