Icicle Village Resort

The space was great with lots to explore and games to keep us entertained in between plans.

Icicle Resort is such a gem. We live nearby and have always loved taking the kids to the mini golf (open to the public) at the resort. This year for my birthday we decided to stay overnight and the kids had a blast- the (two!) pools, game room, mini golf, and basketball/pickleball court kept them entertained for hours. The front desk was nice enough to give us an extra hour for late check out when we couldn’t get the kids out of the pool. All of the staff was super-friendly and accommodating. The included hotel breakfast was very good. It’s a great place to meet up with other families but also have your own space. We highly recommend Icicle Resort and can’t wait to come back! The resort is one of the furthest from DT which is both good and bad- stunning views of the mountains and the alpine roller coaster next door, but a 15-min walk from the center of DT. The walk was easy and pleasant for grown-ups but the kids would have fussed so we drove (easy 3-min drive but prepare to pay for parking).

Breakfast is fine, there were varieties of choice. The room and bed are decent. The website stated $25 charges for pet but when we checkout, the front staff changed us $50 and argued that we were wrong and there always $50, NEVER $25. We felt that there was a misrepresentation on the website and they should have honored that instead of arguing with their guests. Again, it’s NOT about the money but it’s a principle and customer service. At least she should have checked on the website but she should to argue with their guests. I won’t be staying/recommend my friends or families to stay at this hotel.

My room was done in the lobby staff made me sit and wsit an hour till 4 in lobby. Asked for early check in. Then she was rude. Then they chsrged me 50 dollers for insiadentals never refundedmy money

The swimming pools are wonderful. Mini golf is a blast. Breakfast is very good. Even the coffee is decent and they had hot cocoa for the kids.

The resort itself is located near the far edge of town, but entirely walkable to the downtown shopping areas. Bonus, this resort is a stone's throw from the Adventure Park! We will be back sooner than later :)

The Icicle Inn is a first class resort-style hotel for people and families traveling by auto. The accommodations, room and breakfast were outstanding. Parking was easy and ample. The downtown shopping area of Leavenworth is an easy 10 minute walk (parking is very limited downtown). My wife and I previously stayed at the Icicle Inn in 2003 when it was a Best Western Hotel. The current version appears to be a remodeled and significantly improved (and enlarged?) version. We highly recommend the Icicle Inn for travelers visiting Leavenworth.

Nice place

Our stay was great! Our granddaughters loved the pool and game room. We went on the alpine coaster next door and a zipline adventure about 20 miles away. We enjoyed the free breakfast each morning and had dinner in the hotel restaurant. The girls had so much fun at the resort that we didn't even make it into the village.

Very pleasant stay. There was no housekeeping though. I would have enjoyed the stay more if the housekeeping staff had removed the towels... I do hope to return here in the future.

The overall experience was satisfactory. The staff demonstrated considerable helpfulness. The property was generally clean; however, areas such as the game room and high-traffic amenities, like the gym, could benefit from enhanced cleaning efforts. Specifically, the game room exhibited a sticky, greasy residue, suggesting it required additional attention to maintain hygiene standards.

This is a hidden gem. Very clean and comfortable, lots of things for kids to do. Convenient to downtown by foot, avoid the traffic and parking hassles. Restaurant is good, could have a more ambitious menu. The free breakfast is what you would expect or a little better. While full it didn't feel crowded. Very little noise even though lots of kids on the property.

Everything about our stay was wonderful. The 3 bedroom condo was perfect for our family of 4: fully equipped kitchen, washer/dryer combo, tvs in every bedroom plus 2 bathrooms. The property is extremely well maintained, especially the mini golf course (which happened to be home to some local marmots). The hot breakfast was plentiful and had lots of options, the pool is comfortably heated, and spa on site is very nice. The resort is also across the street from the Adventure Park which was really convenient. We loved our stay so much we extended our weekend by another night and the staff made it easy and accommodating to do. We’ll definitely be staying again.

The staff was so friendly and helpful! The front desk manager in the morning was very kind and helpful! The rooms were very clean, the pool was nice. Breakfast had many good choices for all.

Comfortable stay

Jake was very friendly and helpful. Answered all of our questions and made us feel welcome. Nothing that can be fixed. The rooms are designed in a way sounds carey. If you can sleep through anything; people running in hallways, hearing multiple other rooms tvs, and slamming of doors, then it's great. If you have any kind of aversion to hearing everybody else, then it might not be the place for you is all.

I cannot speak more highly of the location! It truly was a German experience. Waking up to the mountain view was breathtaking! I lived in Germany for 3 years and this location got it right! The staff was extremely kind. They were able to recommend the German restaurants in town and even told us which ones they preferred. Breakfast was a great buffet of eggs, bacon, sausage, and potatoes. They also offered cereal options and a variety of juices, milk, and coffee.

We had to request a rubber mat for the tub/shower. Walk into town is easy.

I stay every year at this hotel. It's a nice walk and convenient to the main shopping area. The only issue i had was this year in check-in. The front desk handed me a sheet of paper with all normal information about the hotel, wx: wi-fi, amenities, etc. Honestly I didn't read the sheet of paper. On my out for the day(2nd full day) I stopped by the front desk and asked for room cleaning. The employee behind the desk told me "We don't daily cleaning. Did not read the sheet of paper we handed you?" I responded "No". She stated "we can get you items you might need." I proceeded to tell her and went out.

The rooms themselves were dated as was the facility. The kids enjoyed the Alder pools. The breakfast was exceptional!

Our room was clean, bright, and spacious enough for our family to stay comfortably. It included everything we needed for a short vacation, including a microwave, refrigerator, coffee maker, and other convenient amenities. One of the biggest advantages was the complimentary breakfast, which made our stay even more enjoyable. The hotel grounds are large and beautifully maintained. There is mini golf, lovely walking areas, and plenty of space to relax and enjoy the surroundings. We especially enjoyed the two swimming pools and hot tubs. It was also very convenient that clean, dry towels were always available by the pools.

Excellent overall stay, fabulous amenities including the Golf putting as well as the breakfast!

Ir, it was super clean very friendly staff. They have miniature golf. Hot tub and outdoor pool. The breakfast buffet was pretty good kind of standard and they ran out of scrambled eggs, but other than that the whole experience was wonderful. They gave us a two bedroom condo which was out of this world with fireplaces.

Only complaint was the size of the shower. Shower pressure was fine and there was plenty of hot water. The shower itself wasn’t the biggest. Would stay again.

The staff was amazing and accommodating. We arrived for a quick trip and to take the alpine coaster, which is a six minute walk from the hotel. The free breakfast was plentiful and tasty, not your normal continental breakfast. While we didn’t swim we did play putt putt golf Laughs all around. This is our second stay and we will stay again

This was by far one of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed at. Super clean, beds were SO comfortable, the pool and hot tub were amazing and super clean, the amenities such as the buffet breakfast included with the stay was delicious (scrambled eggs, waffles, berries, fruit, hashbrowns, bacon and more). There’s so much more we didn’t even have time to check out such as the games room, mini golf and more but we will definitely be back!!

I paid for a view room. My view was of the loud pool and hot tub. It would be nice if they included that in the room description. I was envisioning a view of trees or the mountains. Fortunately, they were able to move me but the only room available was a fireplace suite which was $70 more per night (it was 86 degrees, no fireplace needed). Other than that, the room and property was clean. No frills though. Just basic. The staff were friendly.

The $10 per person charge for miniature golf was shocking since the course was covered in debris and the ball would sometimes come to a stop because of it, not to mention the pump for the water feature was very loud. The mini fridge in room 224 was loud, and the walls are thin, the snoring and the fridge kept us awake all night.

Public areas looked a little tired, but our room was nice.

We had an amazing stay at Icicle Village. Everything was spotless, the staff was friendly, and the food was excellent. It’s the perfect place for large groups with kids of all ages - we enjoyed the pool, mini golf, sports courts, playground, and the game zone. There’s so much to do that everyone stayed happy and entertained. We absolutely love this place!

Had an amazing girls weekend at this resort! The breakfast was absolutely delicious and a perfect start to each day. Our room was spotless and very comfortable, which made relaxing easy. We loved spending time at the pool and hot tub—such a great atmosphere. One of the highlights was having the option to go on a bike ride, which made the stay feel even more fun and active. Highly recommend for a getaway with friends!

Just the best 2 bedroom accommodations in Leavenworth!

The location is excellent—right next to the adventure park and only about a 15-minute walk or a 5-minute bike ride to downtown Leavenworth. The heated pool is enjoyable, but the entrance back into the hotel is not very close, which can be inconvenient in colder weather. What truly stands out is the staff—they are incredibly friendly and welcoming, making the stay even more pleasant. Overall, it’s a great choice for families visiting Leavenworth, especially those traveling with kids.

This was an unexpected detour on a road trip over spring break. It turned out to be a highlight of our week. Leavenworth is a great town, I had read about it, but hadn't coordinated a trip to get up to that area. It happened to be about 30 miles off of our path heading back home. Since you're traveling with a large dog, I'm always searching for a pet friendly properties and they were great. As far as traveling with family, there's a game room with foosball and air hockey and arcade games… There are complementary bike rentals which we took advantage of the next day to bike to the village shopping area… There is a spa, but I did not take advantage of that. Outdoors, they have a basketball court, tennis, and mini golf. We had planned to stay overnight and actually extended our stay because there was so much to do in the area. They have great rooms for families. We had a two queen with a sofa, bed and fireplace. I loved that in addition to the full bathroom, there's also a sink/prep area outside of the main bath so that multiple people can be sink accessible for washing hands or brushing teeth, etc. It made things easier for a family of five. They have an outstanding buffet breakfast. Probably the best breakfast potatoes I've had in a long time so much that I wanted to get the recipe. Ha! The eggs were from scratch, not reconstituted from powder or water down from a carton. We agreed that this was the best buffet breakfast we've had in a hotel. Already thinking about going back.

Room was nice but could have been a little cleaner and better smelling. The pillows were very small squares that my family thought were uncomfortable. The grounds are nice, lots to do and close to the rollercoaster. The spa was booked for massages sadly and the winery was closed most of the time.

Paying about 400 for this average level cabin is a bad decision we made.

Room was clean, bed was good, but the noise level was terrible. You could hear everyone in the hall, above us and next door. Which made sleep difficult.

Great location, clean rooms, great place to bring families! Lots of activities for children. They even kept the outdoor pool heated in December!! Grandkids loved the game room! Also breakfast covered everyone’s wishes and wants! Nobody will leave hungry! All around we had a great visit with a friendly and helpful staff.

A fun place to stay in this town.

2. At 10.35ish am on 11/27, the day when we were checking out, i had a talk with a front desk lady over the phone, requesting for a 30mins late checkout at 11.30am, but instead of trying to find something, she said no. Well, that is fine still. But the way she said it was extremely rude. And over and above that she actually slammed the receiver of the phone when i was talking. Is this kind of an expected behavior which is expected from a person who sits at the front desk and is supposed to take in queries and qualms of customers staying at the resort?

We have stay here for years when our grandkids were younger we used to bring them and stay in the condo’s. There were lots of things we could do. And anytime we come this way we will always stay at icicle village, Leavenworth, Washington. Our favorite place.

We had a great time at Icicle Village Resort! The property was beautiful, the room was comfortable and clean, and the staff were all very friendly. There was a conference at the same time we were there and the resort was still very quiet and everything seemed to be run very smoothly and the resort was not hectic at all. Great place to stay!

This hotel is tucked away toward the end of town, offering a quiet and relaxing stay. The heated pool and hot tub were a great bonus! The staff were beyond friendly, and the rooms were clean and comfortable. We also loved the free shuttle — it made getting around easy without the hassle of driving or paying for parking.

The resort is quite large compared to other nearby hotels. The staff were friendly, and the room was clean. It’s only a few blocks from Front Street, making it convenient for dining and shopping. The breakfast was also good.

We love staying here at Icicle Village Resort. It is so beautiful and reasonably priced. Love the restaurant and that it has a miniature golf course. We come to Leavenworth every year and always stay here.

Did not ever come into the room and we were there three nights. No clean towels were offered. Had to ask front desk for coffee refills every day. No drinking glasses and we had to wash our coffee cups every day to use them the next day. At $270.00 per night I expect MORE.

Game room which was an amazing success with the kids The only think that disappointed us is that wee could hear everything from next door - we literally woke up from the room next us because of their alarm clock and then the noise in their room..

Just about everything was above our expectations for our first stay here. We rented a condo and it didn't disappoint. The only comments I have is that the gym in the photos does not match what is currently there and I was bit disappointed when I got there for my morning workout. Also the bed was comfortable but very creaky. Other than that we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will be booking again.

Enjoyed our mountain view. I liked that it was pet friendly even though I left my fur babies at home.

Great stay for our 20th Anniversary. Staff was friendly and property felt safe. Location was close to everything, yet still felt far enough away.

I paid over $400/night on Labor Day weekend. It’s a fine hotel. If I had paid $225 I would have been happy. It’s not a $400/night hotel. If it said Holiday Inn Express on the outside, it would fit perfectly. Good location, adequate breakfast, fun things to do on their “campus” but rooms are dated. Maybe the suites or condos are nicer.

Beautiful grounds and lovely views of the mountains. Very clean room and comfortable bed with extra pillows. Extremely helpful and friendly staff.

I was disappointed that the text messages invited you to enjoy the winery if your early but the winery was only open on weekends. Also the breakfast was good but staff only cleaned the table and didn’t speak, not friendly. Was strange.

Icicle Village is a great place to stay. It walkable to town and right next to the mountain coaster. They included breakfast was the best we have had.

The property is great, lots to do! We asked for a blanket and they didn’t have any, we’re running low on bedding. We also got 2 towels and a hand towel but nothing more. Just not what I’d expect for $250+ a night

Bathroom was absolutely disgusting. Mold and mildew filled the shower and floor. Kitchen staff were friendly and attentive. Front desk was average except for the lady who checked us in. She had bright hair, and big lashes. Quick and efficient and had personality.(not robot like, personable)

Nice property, liked that there was a game room for my son and that there was mini golf at the hotel. The only issue was the restaurant, it was not great and the people working were not friendly. Food was always incorrect and unfortunately the breakfast was served there too. They did not keep the breakfast full and it was extremely messy with food everywhere.

Wanted to explore Levenworth.

The only thing that I was not supper happy was a shower type: Shower head in the wall, no options for a different water flows, on spout. But that's just me. I am sure most people are not bothered by that. Hot tub and a pool are clean and open until 10 pm. Property is nice and there was plenty of free parking.

Amazing resort! No one bothers you there, you just chill and relax by the pool. It has beautiful views. Great breakfast too. Been here 3 times and will come back again.

This is the place I would stay everytime I visit Leavenworth. It’s walking distance from Leavenworth. It has there own parking. I stayed in the adams condo that had 2 bathrooms and 2 bedrooms. TVs in every room. A porch, kitchen and living room with a fireplace. The place was clean. Check in was fast and the front desk attendant was friendly and helpful. It was such a large resort with a spa, restaurant that offered a free breakfast buffet and open for dinner, pool and jacuzzi, and putt putt.

Having access to the bicycles came in very handy for getting to downtown area.

This hotel was very nice. The restaurant had excellent food. My grandsons enjoyed playing the mini golf & swimming in the pool. We rode the coaster which is right across the street. We shopped for hours in Levonworth definitely will come back

Central air for the main room and the two bedrooms had their own AC units which were a bit noisy as was the refrigerator in the kitchen. Otherwise excellent stay with l nice carpeting and furniture/furnishing and own laundry-dryer in room. Property has lots of amenities from put-put golf to courts and pools for kids. Across street amusement facility also a local attraction. Bus shuttle nearby into town center or free bike rental from front desk.

Amazing place with kids

The stay was great for the most part. The only thing I would improve is the WiFi. It was horrible. The smart tv in the room only had a signal half of the time and the other half it was unusable. Staff said they were resetting the access point multiple times but it didn’t make any difference. It wasn’t a big deal aside from at night when I was in the room the most.

Yeah we arrived at the icicle Village and thought it was one of the most beautiful tranquil little cute places we'd ever been to. Explored the whole grounds of the resort love the lobby and the restaurant as well as the two Outdoor Pools and Hot Tubs the gym is quite nice all those simple but very adequate for someone that wants to just work out. Love the proximity to the town will be back absolutely.

Fun place to lodge and take the kids. Easy to get to town. The staff was great. We really enjoyed it.
