I booked the room late Saturday night and traveled to the hotel. Once I arrived the staff informed me that the hotel was being renovated and that we couldn’t use any of the facility. Also we had to walk around the building to get to our room because the hallways were blocked off. Breakfast was terrible and extremely limited. When I mentioned to the staff that hotel wasn’t worth the price they said they had sent an email out 30 minutes prior to my arrival to warn me of all the renovations. I will not be returning to this hotel

Even though the Residence Inn was under renovation the staff and construction crew were very mindful of the guests as far as noise and interfering with our stay.

AC did not work. Our room was hot all night. We lowered the thermostat but temperature stayed on 75. No water pressure in shower.

Very nice updated hotel, they are still in process of renovating. But it’s nice well maintained property. That I could only use front to enter due to renovations.

On hotels.com this hotel listed inside pool as one of the amenities but it was closed for a long time (without a planned date of reopeniing). If i had known this i could have picked a different option for less money
- 3/5
I felt like breakfast had less otems this time than last week. Juice was coming not normal (concentrated). Also during last weeks stay in the evening water was barely warm and i was cold during shower

We had an extended stay here due to a move. It was comfortable and clean. The pool was closed due to renovations but I wished they told us that at the time of booking. It was in need of some repair as far as cracked tiles in the kitchen, insulation around dishwasher, etc. But it was clean and roomy. We didn’t use Housekeeping while there but staff was very accommodating when we needed, towels and what not. I liked their toiletries a lot. We had our dog with us as I know other guest did but I never heard any barking and our room was very quiet. We didn’t have the breakfast so I cannot speak to that. The channels on the TV were limited and Hulu sign-in was not an option. But that was minor. Overall a very decent place.

Pool was closed which they should let ppl know on website had smell elevator was broke just was horrible
- 1/5
I did not like the fact that I went through several rooms. They all had bed bugs and on each floor at that. The other issue is I wa contacted stay there to let me know. The pool was closed. However, after further reading into this hotel, I had found out this whole thing tells pool has been closed for at least almost a year.

The location and the comfort of the beds. The pool was out of service.

Pool was closed in the middle of June! Elevator was hot. They were doing renovations, but not noted on website at the time.
- 4/5
Our first room, the toilet was broken and didn’t flush and smelled like cigarettes when we requested a “non-smoking” room. So we got switched to a different room. Second room didn’t smell like smoke but the A/C unit was old and loud, rattling the whole room when turned on. Therefore it kept waking us up in the middle of the night. Also the toilet seat this time was broken, but did flushed. Overall I appreciate the staffs’ services and friendly attitudes but I probably would not book this place again.
- 2/5
Front desk customer service on arrival could improve by smiling and being more cordial but staff who were cleaning the rooms were excellent and attentive
- 3/5
gym the pool was awful, cold and so inhospitable. not sure why they bothered putting one in.

Convenient location to visit family in the area, some staff were very nice others including the mNWas somewhat rude The sofa bed was broken and extremely uncomfortable. No linens for the bed in room had to wait a long time for front desk to bring some. Maintenance was poor bathroom had mold and peeling wallpaper
- 5/5
Perfect stay for us and two teenagers.
- 4/5
Great experience. Friendly and clean
- 3/5
We stayed for a week and everyone was super friendly. But the hotel is super outdated.
- 2/5
Blackout curtains were shredded in every room. Dishwasher did not work (no on came to fix it in the week we were there). The property needs a refresh. Not what you would expect from a Marriott.
- 2/5
Hotel outside facilities was dirt with trash on the ground. Inside walkways were unclean with trash along floors, Pool was old and mold on pool lining walls. Hotel smelled muggy and room was okay but when I went to place a can in recycle bin behind closed cabinet it had moldy trash in it. Yuck
- 2/5
Reserved the rooms for $89 +tax per night, got there and they charged $114 + tax. Plus a $200 incedent fee. Was supposed to have wheele chair accessible since i was having surgery, even requested when reserved (4 months in advance) did not get an accessible room. Pool closed, dirty room, dirty hallway. Last night we were they woke up to someone accessible in the hallway at 4:30am... finally at 6am they called the cops to remove them!
- 2/5
Upon check-in, our room looked used and outdated, and had a moldy odor in the corner near the bed, but we were only there briefly to unload the car before meeting family. It was after 10pm when we learned the carpet outside the utility closet (housing the AC unit) was saturated. We reported to front desk, and were told there weren’t any other rooms available to switch us into, but they could move us after other guests checked out the next day. We stopped at front desk multiple times the next morning/afternoon, with Ms. Joy repeatedly telling us she would let us know which room would be ours once housekeeping notified her it was ready. We were in the room from 1pm-5:30pm, with no other contact from Ms. Joy. At 5:30, Ms. Joy was gone, Ms. Ali was at the front desk, and advised the whole hotel is booked up, except 2 rooms without AC, so once again, we are stuck in this room that’s exacerbating my allergies. We ask for a manager, and are told Tom won’t be in until Monday (it’s Fri), but here’s his email to complain/req a refund. Other issues to note: heavy dust on intake vent & all around door to utility closet, at least 2 baby roaches, unfinished ceiling repairs, dirty ADA seat in tub, breakfast a fraction of the food advertised, pool closed without notice, door key doesn’t gain entry to hotel front door after hours. Thankfully, Hotels.com refunded us in full.

Nothing, it was the most disgusting hotel I have ever stayed.
- 3/5
The property was quiet. The pool wasn’t open and it was one of the reasons we booked the room.
- 5/5
The beds were comfortable. The AC worked great. The full size refrigerator was good. Breakfast buffet was typical.
- 1/5
The room was filthy and stinky. The breakfast was a couple of bagels, a frozen entree, apples.
- 5/5
The American flag that was in front of the building.. I feel that it showed appreciation and understanding.. great job
- 3/5
Decent for a one night stay. The a/c was marginal, the breakfast was subpar, and the rooms seemed outdated. I would stay here again for a short stay but would look for alternatives
- 3/5
The last straw was checking into a room with the security latch broken off the door, like someone had kicked the door in. There was also a hole in the wall behind the door, cracked black out shades in both rooms, a falling bathroom fan grill, and a weird ceiling spot.
- 2/5
Property was poorly maintained. Tipped curtains. Auto front door broken the entire time we were there. Back door propped open. Air conditioner super loud. Everything was dingy and old in and outside the hotel. I have never been to a Marriott property that was this bad
- 3/5
La puerta de enfrente no cerraba si me incomodó un poco eso
- 5/5
Friendly staff - great room
- 5/5
Was surprised to have a full breakfast available, as last time I was there, only grab and go was available. Can't wait to stay there again in May.
- 2/5
All entry and exit doors at the hotel did not work. Anyone could enter the hotel rather than just guests with a card key. The side doors were propped open with a rock and the automatic front doors were not on their track just open all the time.
- 3/5
Service for 4 days. For 4 days I had to get towels and take out the trash and make the bed.

Front desk help was great, the room however, was not
- 5/5
Excellent and friendly staff made the stay really pleasant. The front desk as well as housekeeping staff were really great -- receiving parcels, providing extra towels, cleaning up the suite impeccably were some things I liked very much.
- 5/5
biggest complaint was every piece of equipment in the fitness was broken/out of order
- 5/5
Those ladies need a raise and a promotion! LaQuilla and Joy made our bday staycations an outstanding experience. 5stars each of them, too!

Home away from home
- 2/5
The room had no bodywash and room service did not show up as requested.
- 3/5
Was not crazy about having to go around the building to find the entrance. Check in was easy. It is dated but it says they are in process of updating facility. Dining area is bare and not to inviting. Breakfast was sparse, eggs were not available Friday were over hour and a half of breakfast, no juice that day, small menu. Friday was messy but Saturday and Sunday Liz did an excellent job! Things were clean, anything that ran out was replenished right away and she took care of anyone's concerns. Can't say enough good things about her. Living area tv did not work; requested maintenance 4 times; never happened. Was offered another room with one night left it was not worth moving everything. Found out when leaving the maintenance guy new the tv did not work and he could not fix it but never let us know. Front desk said they did not know. Like the room lay out, couch extremely uncomfortable sitting but looks nice. Would not stay again until after renovation.
- 2/5
The idea of the hotel is wonderful with a sleeper sofa, bed, and kitchenette. The room was mostly clean but there was very loud music playing, a tree blowing hard into the window, and lots of property problems. (Exterior doors didn't close all the way, leaking ceilings, a broken front door, and pool closed). I can't speak for all branches but the Lewisville location definitely needs some improvements.
- 5/5
It is good location.
- 3/5
Overall good value and convenient location, so ok with the minor issues. Clean room and comfortable bed. Shampoo bottle broken off the wall. Had to wait for staff to show up at front desk during checkin and checkout. Signs of some wear in room and lobby. Slow elevator. Juice machine not working. Breakfast area wasn't completely setup on time.
- 3/5
Pool was closed due to maintenance for the entire stay . The breakfast wasn’t good . Had to keep getting room keys adjusted .
- 2/5
When we 1st arrived the elevator was broken and our room was on the 3rd floor, the easiest way to the room required using an outside door in the hotel that the key card would not open... so you had to walk the whole hotel to then walk up 3 flights of stairs. We avoided the elevator the rest of the time cause it never really worked correctly. The Gym had 3 machines, all broken or needing repair, and the floor and weight were beyond dirty. The pool was also down for "maintenance" but I never saw anyone clean or addressing it. The drawers in room 300 and the shelves in the bathroom were busted and need to be fixed or simply replaced. The shower tub was slow to drain and you had to shower in standing water. Window curtains had holes in them and let light into the room. The mattress felt worn out and had huge dents on either end. Lastly, the bathroom smelled of urine and the floor probably hadn't been cleaned in a while... overall not a great stay, and don't recommend it. Even the breakfast simply ran out of napkins, plates, and food before the end time and none of the staff really cared too much to help. The only good thing I can say is the sheet seemed clean and it's cheap. Guess you get what you paid for... but hunt around there are +5 hotels within walking distance, and look for someplace else.
- 3/5
It's an ok hotel. I did see one roach in my room.
- 2/5
This is not a Residence Inn. Looks and smells old, not clean at all. I prefer to pay an extra $50 but want to sleep comfortable.
- 5/5
It was good. People were great. Service was great. Key did not work half the time. Very comfortable.
- 1/5
The cleaning was the worst, there was blood on the bed mattress cover, leftovers from the previous person in the refrigerator, and pieces of cookies on the desk table, worst hotel ever
- 4/5
Stay wasn't as Good as some of my Previous Marriotts Stays. Lot of the Equipment was broke before I came in...
- 5/5
It was very quiet
- 4/5
The room was clean, there was a few things that needed maintenance done. The hallway were dirty and sacks of trash outside of rooms and stairway.
- 1/5
No AC, they didn’t call to let us know
- 1/5
The hotel canceled my reservation 39 minutes after check in time due to a "maintenance issue with the room" even though they were aware of the issue the night before they waited until we were almost there to check in to call and let me know about the issue.
- 3/5
Property was a little run down and dirty
- 4/5
Very friendly staff, room exactly as described, very clean
- 3/5
breakfast was late every morning
- 5/5
Quiet, staff friendly and welcoming "The Best" hotel experience
- 4/5
The staff was great, professional, and friendly. They provided great service from the moment I checked in until the day of my departure. The only changes I would recommend is the urine odor in the elevator. It was very unpleasant. Grounds was well kept. Location was perfect.
- 2/5
We travel with our two small dogs and we've always been happy with Residence Inn properties to this point for accomodations. Pet fee is steep at $150, but what are you going to do? Unfortunately our room was full of pet stains, smelled like urine, holes in the curtains from dogs biting. Outside doors were non operational to take the pups out to go potty, so we had to prop open the door to avoid having to walk all the way back to the front entrance. No poop bags... You get the picture. Would I return to this property? Absolutely not. Would I return to Residence Inn overall.... That's in question. I think it's time to start exploring other options.
- 4/5
Some of the lights in the room did not work. The bed was horrible and sunk to the middle. The tub/shower drained very slowly. The room was clean though.
- 5/5
Very friendly and great price.
- 1/5
Do not stay at this hotel! It’s outdated and extremely dirty. I found random hairs in my bed that was no mine. I also found other hairs in the shower. It was so bad that I reached out to hotels.Com and got relocated.
- 2/5
This property is in poor shape. From the parking lot to the lobby, hallways and rooms. There is a reason this Residence Inn is priced so low. Nowhere near the Marriott standards.
- 2/5
This hotel is worn out, dated, dirty and moldy. Residence and Marriot are good names in their business, but this place brings them down. It looks like there's been no remodeling since the 80s - walls are damaged, carpets stained and torn, fixtures broken. Our room was very dirty - carpets, walls, kitchen area. The mold was terrible - black stained walls, carpet soaking wet with drainage from the air conditioner. There was even a mushroom growing up from the soaked carpet. First night - spider in the bed; second night - roach in the bathroom; third night - bugs in the towels. We checked out early.
- 4/5
Breakfast was included & staff were great!
- 4/5
Nice clean comfortable room, but a few of the furnishings are worn and stained. Front desk was hit and miss depending on who was in duty at the time. One was excellent. One was quite the opposite.
- 2/5
Body wash, shampoo, coditioner: The containers suck. The type needs to be legible in lowish light, and with no glasses. They also need to be transparent or have a long view window, so that a guest won't be finding out the body wash container is absolutely empty when
- 2/5
This was by far the worst hotel I have stayed at in the past 15 years. The tvs did not work and waited 5 hours to see if they could be fixed. The staff was kind and apologetic but it was not their fault. The rooms are old and there was hair on the bedsheets, almost looked like they hadn’t been changed. I only stayed because it was too late to try to find another hotel and I was tired and frustrated by this point. I wasn’t able to sleep at all so I sat up most of the night in a chair after finding so much hair on the sheets. Hallways were dark and filthy floors. The restroom vent had piles of dust on it. This is not what I would expect from a Marriott hotel. I might as well have slept in my vehicle and kept the money in my pocket. This hotel seriously needs a whole makeover for the area it is in.
- 5/5
The pillows and bed were excellent quality! I want to buy them.first time i woke up without pain!
- 5/5
Nice and comfy rooms
- 5/5
We had a wonderful stay. At the end of the day it felt like coming home.
- 3/5
We had 4 people reserved for room but had only 2 towels and when we were ready to get sofa bed read for kids there were no linens for it. Husband had to go to front desk then wait till they ran upstairs to get some linens. Air conditioning unit made very loud noise whenever it cut off, kind of a banging noise. Lawn service came through at 6:30 in the morning. Used needles in the parking lot.
- 1/5
Management is horrible.
- 4/5
I feel the propery could use some repairs to the stairways. There are noticeable cracks in the drywall of the south stairway. The room was comfortable and clean for the most part. I had heard about the legendary residence inn breakfast, but all we got were pre-packaged items. I am Transgender, and there was no issues there. The staff was very accepting
- 3/5
They said they didnt know what room to bring bedding to bc they didnt write it down. So they sent someone up who handed us a plunger and an itchy gray blanket. Thats it. She then left. So we had to unclog the toilet ourselves. We realized there was so no sheets or pillows in the pile she gave us. We went down to swim so I told them we had no sheets or pillows. The guy told me they were in the wash. I said they said that three hours ago. Lady came up and asked what was going on. I told her. She goes no we have bedding. Another guy came to get blankets and he got plush blankets so I said umm we didnt get that kind. She asked if we wanted one and i said yes so she told me to bring the other back bc they are full and running out of bedding. I told her well you advertise sofa beds so should have enough to cover them all. Apparently they do not so were scrambling to come up with clean blankets for a full hotel. Got my bedding & go to swim. its freezing. Ice cold. My husband got in & after just a couple of minutes his hand was numb. I let them know it was super cold & they just said well yeah its not heated. I have never been in an indoor pool that was that cold!
- 5/5
Friendly staff. Quiet area.
- 4/5
The sofa bed mattress had stains on it and the desk chair was dirty. Otherwise, the stay was nice as usual. The staff was kind and friendly.
- 2/5
I pulled out the bed that was in the couch and there were no sheets on it. There should have been to hide the mattress that was coming apart and very dirty. The shower floor had duct tape on it to cover a huge crack. The indoor pool was so cold, that you didn't want to put your feet in! Doubt, very seriously, that we will ever return. Hopefully, this doesn't effect our opinion on any other Marriott properties.
- 5/5
Every employee was friendly and kind. Hotel was very clean and comfortable. Would definitely stay here again.
- 4/5
Stains are on the floor and needs to be removed Very comfortable bed!!!
- 4/5
We were quite pleasantly surprised at the hotel. Staff were exceedingly helpful, the room was quite comfortable and amazing. The pull out couch mattress was thin and you could feel the metal bars when you laid on it, but the king bed was amazingly comfortable. Loved the setup, the available dishes. The only thing I would change is that the indoor pool and the room it was in was cold, raising the temp in there would drastically change the comfort level. Pool was clean. Gym was clean and well organized. Available snacks and provided breakfast was acceptable. Would absolutely stay here again. Having an in room kitchen makes all the difference!
- 4/5
Location to restaurants
- 2/5
The staff was poor, room was not cleaned, and the free-breakfast wasn't provided unless you just plan on having coffee. I would not stay again - overpriced for the service & cleanliness.
- 5/5
We had an amazing stay! The staff is very friendly and helpful. The rooms we had were absolutely perfect for our large family. Having a full kitchen was a huge bonus! I will highly recommend to anyone looking for a family getaway. The indoor pool was very cold but the kids still had fun. We will definitely be staying here in the future.
- 2/5
The room was very dirty and my bathroom light did not work for 4 out of 5 days of me being there. I informed the staff on multiple occasions.
- 5/5
The hotel staff was unable to provide me with a key that could access the side entrance, even after several new keys were tried. This became an issue when making multiple trips to the car with supplies…
- 5/5
DeeDee was EXCELLENT!
- 5/5
Everyone very professional and friendly! Great location.
- 5/5
Everything was great, especially the staff. The bed smelled fresh and felt great. They provided everything that I needed from iron, kitchen utensils/pots/pans, towels, soaps, and lotions. Fantastic experience will be back!!!
- 1/5
The first room we checked in, the A/C was not working. Then we requested another room. The bathtub in the second room was draining very slow. Water was up above ankle after took shower. And the carpet was dirty.
- 2/5
The front desk staff was very kind and accommodating. The mattress on the sofa sleeper had blood on it so it was unusable. Also jewelry was left in one of the bathrooms. This tells me that the room was not sanitized properly. This is unacceptable during this time of COVID
- 1/5
We will never go back.. We had to change rooms 4 times and every rooms we stayed were so horrible. Uncleaned, fleas, broken refrigerator, broken dishwasher... you name it... it was so disappointing while we were staying in the hotel.
- 4/5
Nice hotel. Friendly staff. Grands loves the complementary giant cookies.
- 1/5
The hotel was extremely dirty. None of the staff wore a mask.
- 3/5
Room was not clean they had sunflower seeds on the floor
- 5/5
Clean and comfortable room. Close to everything.
- 4/5
Everyone was very respectful and considerate and friendly. The room was pleasant enough, clean enough and spacious.
- 5/5
The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful - we will stay here again.
- 5/5
Clean, great room's, great price and the front desk lady was so nice and helpful. I wish i remember their names.
- 3/5
Very poor variety on breakfast choices. Staff attentive and helpful and comfortable bed. Can’t say any thing else positive.
- 4/5
Only disappointment was the pool was closed. There was a problem with the thermostat in my room, but it was taken care if very fast. The roominess is the biggest plus, and made my stay very comfortable.
- 5/5
Beautiful place to stay. Great location to walk to the restaurants and shops.
- 5/5
Easiest check in and check out process I have ever had with a hotel! Staff are super friendly!!
- 3/5
The facility was nice but they put a $20 charge on my credit card for no reason. They said it was for incidentals and would disappear in 7-10 business days. I had pre-paid the room so no reason for a charge ahead of time.
