Amazing accommodations

I only stayed one night and basically just slept there. It is as expected for a Courtyard in the suburbs, including the price. I stayed here as a cheaper option when attending a wedding at the Marriott Lincolnshire Resort. I hoped the hotel would be closer but the walk was along a larger street with no sidewalk so it was not as easy as I hoped. It was a 10-minute walk. That is my fault, not the hotel, but good to know for others planning this. In the end the price was not so different and I should have just stayed at the resort.

There is a lot of sound coming into the room from the hallway. At times, I could hear the conversation in the suite next door.

Very quiet, friendly staff and clean room-

Ridiculous that I had to pay an additional $10 to park, in the hotel lot. Please keep in mind this is not a city property. This is a property “out in the burbs” with PLENTY of parking. Next time I’ll stay at a Hyatt.

It was clean There were drunk people screaming in the courtyard at 1am. It woke us up and went on fire about 30 minutes. I tried calling the front desk and no one answered. Then I used my cell phone to call and finally got someone.

The bed in my room (156) was too soft, which would be my only "complaint." Overall this was a pleasant stay!

Personnel was very nice and helpful.

Everyone was very helpful, professional and accommodating. The room was clean and comfortable. I required a handicap modified room that met all my needs. I won’t hesitate to stay here again. Thank you!

Wonderful stay the property well maintained and quiet. The staff was helpful and curious. They room was beautiful with plenty of outlets and clean. They have the best shower. Great fitness center clean spacious with a yoga area that lets the sun in. Highly recommend will definitely return on next trip to North Chicago.

Staff was nice, as well as the property. Rooms have a little balcony and single rooms were pretty spacious and comfortable.

Hotel was excellent. There was a major soccer tournament in town and a number of young boys were in the hotel were roudy, ringing door bells, throwing rocks at windows. This of course is beyond the control of the hotel.

Nice quiet rooms, solid construction so you don't hear people knocking around. Staff is truly great.

Booked the hotel so my wife and I could have a nice night out and see Titanic (it is excellent, btw) at the Marriott Theatre basically next door and not have to worry about driving back to our home in Chicago. Our room was fine, but we did observe some ants in our room, which was on the first floor with a view of the courtyard. The bed was comfy, but the pillows were fairly flat. We did not have breakfast at the hotel but instead went across Milwaukee avenue to Walker Brothers, the Original Pancake House. All in all, the hotel served well for our needs

Staff was wonderful, Room was nice and clean. Breakfast did not open until 7am, too late when you need to be on the job by 7.

Excellent experience

King size mattress was very roomy and amazingly comfortable!! Gym was also sufficient with dumbbells up to 50lbs. Nice lobby area for gathering or watching TV.

Where do I even get started. When we first checked into the hotel, the room smelled like smoke—the smell was very terrible and my young daughter is supposed to stay in the hotel with me too. On top of that, the AC was not working at all! At 12:30 am, we called the front desk and reported this because we could not sleep at all, they moved us to a new room at like 1 am. This new room also had a broken AC, but we didn’t call the front desk because we had given up on this cause and we had a six hour drive first thing in the morning the next day so we didn’t bother to switch rooms again. We got no sleep and we have to drive all the way to Minnesota tomorrow so the best thing we can do is get up and have breakfast, but no that turned out worse!! When we booked the hotel room, we paid an additional cost to have breakfast included, but when my daughter and I went over to the breakfast area in the hotel. The so-called “breakfast area” said they don’t provide breakfast with the hotel stay and we need to pay for it again. I walked over to the front desk lady and she confirmed that we indeed did pay for breakfast so she told the woman working at the breakfast area to give us hotel breakfast for two. The same lady who refused to give us breakfast gave us a little sheet with the included breakfast menu after the front desk lady told her too. We ordered from it and they refused to give us half the stuff we ordered and said we have to pay extra so we just took what they gave us. Worst stay!!

In town for a wedding. Stayed here along with two other couple friends. Enjoyed the big Lobby to play cards and eat pizza. Staff was very friendly and told us they would clean up the pizza leftovers. The bed was very comfortable. The room was very clean. The shower had good water pressure. Ample parking. We would definitely stay here again.

Lady from yesterday morning at the front desk was rude and unfriendly. She seemed bothered by the coffee I asked for. I’m a Marriott customer but will rethink moving forward my hotel options.

The property was well kept and the staff were very helpful! The items in the store were really high prices ($6) for 1 bottle of beer. My room door was slightly broken.

The one concern is the staffing of the caffe and front desk is too lean. Good people you have that are certainly under staffed.

Everything was clean and we enjoyed our stay. Good location not too far from the highway and plenty of restaurants near by.

Recently renovated rooms were clean, fresh.

Our stay was for two nights over a weekend. The room was spotless, the bed very comfortable, the staff were welcoming, and check in/out was a breeze. Stylish furnishings in the rooms and lobby were icing on the cake.

I liked everything except that the hotel didn’t have the pool.

The bathroom toilet barely flushed any paper down. There was a large sausage piece on the floor, probably from a pizza that didn't get cleaned up. I opened the fridge and it stunk the room up...smelled like it had rotten things in at one time. Bed was fine and shower was nice and had soaps to use. Overall was decent... probably wouldn't book again tho.

This is not just this brand, but since COVID nobody is cleaning the room anymore like pre COVID. Now is required that you ask for new towels every day.

Very happy with my stay & overall accommodations. Only drawback, I could not get the Cubs on TV in my room. Kind of surprising given the closeness. Staff was extremely friendly & seemed to take the extra step to provide that personal touch. Job well done.

“Free” coffee in our room is a joke. It’s always terrible. The restaurant and bar were closed. We could “purchase” breakfast in the morning. MANY other chain hotels offer a complimentary breakfast at a much lower room rate than yours, and at the very least, coffee. A “communal” microwave next to the ice machine? Really? We were very dissatisfied with the amenities. I wouldn’t recommend your hotel to anyone. My husband and I are a former airline pilot and flight attendant. We travel a lot. We were in town for a funeral of a dear friend so I admit, not for pleasure.

Nice property - reserved a larger room to have space with a teenage daughter 😬. The staff there was VERY nice!!!! Real people…. I was eager to utilize the workout facility but no one within it was wearing a mask… just my own personal decision to not utilize the area because of that…. Otherwise a nice stay….

The stay was as I expected. Everything worked the way I needed. The bed was comfortable enough. The shower was hot and didn't leak onto the floor. The staff was helpful. The shopping and dining in the area are great.

We had a great time. Due to COVID and staffing issues, our room was cleaned once during our stay. We understood the situation and it wasn't a big deal. Entrance is under construction, but that also was no problem.

Best hotel i have atayes in and i have consistently returned to this one. The new remodel is startinf to look amazing!!!! Ans its always clean and always a pleasant stay.

Our stay at Lincolnshire is always a very pleasant stay. The staff are amazing; so accommodating and go above and beyond at each stay. Chantel, at the front desk is so kind and helpful. Her genuinity is highly noticed and respected. We enjoy how clean the grounds are kept and the rooms especially. We will continue to stay at this location.

Covid restrictions are a bit much. Most places have adapted at this point but Courtyard has not. They believe that a credit card needs to be swiped instead of using the chip because of covid???? Bistro remains closed. "Grab and go" breakfast was literally a banana qnd orange juice. This hotel is way behind the curve on adapting to covid.

I enjoy the availability of a balcony and the atmosphere that this hotel provides. Always clean and always super nice to make adjustments when need be. Favorite hotel so far in the vernon hills/lincolnshire area.

First key card given did not work in side doors. Told front desk person, who guessed humidity or insects affected card readers. Same card then did not work at room. Told different front desk person, who tested it, said it was "dead," gave me a new card. All this while both my hands were full carrying garment bag and other luggage. No offer by staff to help with carrying. When time to leave hotel, used front door to return key card. Automatic front door opened only partially. I'm guessing mediocre staff customer service training and building maintenance.

Usually you get day old bakery, if you hurry down for it in the morning. Maybe some cereal and fruit. This place had an awesome "restaurant." The breakfast was delicious - eggs cooked to order, breakfast potatoes, bacon and toast. My friends had great breakfast sandwiches. Best hotel food ever. Hot and fresh, cooked by chef Jonathan and served with a smile by Alejandra! Best part of our stay!

I called two night in a row fow a wake up call. There wasnt a wake up call either day. Not cool.

Staff went above and beyond to clear up a mishap with Expedia - who screwed up our room. Booked a suite and it was not available when we got there. They gave us 2 rooms instead and promised us we could have the suite the next night. We had free breakfast for two included, but since we had 3 of us, they included the third person at no cost. Very accommodating!

Hotel is quite and relaxed -- gets away from the busy resort next door, but is close enough to have everything there within easy reach. Indoor pool is always very clean and well kept. Never as busy as the resort pools, though the air temp could be a little higher for comfort. Have used it several times and will continue to do so.

This motel was recently remodeled. However, there is no trace of what it was. It is completely new in the inside with no indication of anything left over. Really a great experience.
