Comfort Inn & Suites Presidential - Downtown Little Rock

Strange odor like mold and mildew. Room request was totally ignored. Front desk could not provide a receipt for pet fees and incidentals. Since we were only staying one night we didn’t bother to complain. It certainly didn’t live up to the name “Presidential”

Room was clean, breakfast was adequate, staff was friendly.

Toccara (at the front desk) was amazing. She was extremely professional, helpful, and courteous.

The only minor issues were that conditioner and coffee cups were missing in the room. Aside from these small oversights, everything else was very good.

We arrived at 9pm the evening of June 7th. There are no signs in the Parking lot and you can’t see the lobby entrance from the parking lot. Then you can’t get into the lobby without someone buzzing you in. There was no one at the front desk to let us in. Finally the guy comes bak to the front desk and let us in. We give him our name, he puts our room cards on the counter spits out our room number and effectively looked at us like move along. you have to park in a below ground level. The curved ramp down to the level is the only way in or out and it’s a single lane. If you encounter another vehicle in the ramp, one of you has to back out. There is no exit signs, no signs of where to park or where the lobby is. Poorly done!! Also the mattresses are cheap and you can feel the springs. I’m pretty sure I’m done with Comfort Inn.

Sunset from the window Our stay at this hotel was extremely disappointing from start to finish. The first room we were assigned had a very strong body odor smell. While the room itself appeared reasonably clean, the odor was overwhelming and impossible to ignore. I requested a room change, and the staff member accommodated the request without any issues. Unfortunately, the second room was not any better. It had a strong moldy, musty smell, and there was visible mold in several areas. One of the biggest problems is that the windows in this hotel do not open at all, which means there is virtually no fresh air or ventilation. Even with the air conditioner running continuously, the unpleasant odors never went away, and the room felt stuffy and uncomfortable. What makes this even more concerning is that our friends were staying in a completely different room and experienced the same issue with a terrible odor. This clearly does not seem to be an isolated problem. The service experience was just as disappointing. One evening, I tried to order food to our room, but the employee hung up on me three separate times without taking my order. My husband eventually had to go down to the lobby to place the order in person. The order was accepted, but the employee told him directly, “I don’t have time to bring it to your room,” and refused to deliver it. Instead, my husband was instructed to come back and pick it up himself. When he returned 15 minutes later, the food was still not ready and he was told to wait longer. We eventually received a phone call when the order was finally ready so my husband could come pick it up. To make matters worse, the pizza we received was burnt. There were also several other issues during our stay. The coffee machine at breakfast was out of service for three of the four mornings we were there. In addition, our room had a coffee maker, but no cups were provided at all.

Proximity to Southerntail brewing where I was hosting an event. Salability was nice. The rooms smelled bad. Three friends who also got rooms on different floors said the same. Musty like mildew. There was never anyone at the desk even when I picked up the courtesy phone. No sound proofing on windows from the freeway noise. I didn’t sleep at all and left as soon as possible.

Front desk service was exceptional! Sherrell was extremely helpful and friendly. We had a quick check-in and was able to get in our room. We checked in at 3 pm but quickly had to do some things around town. When we return back to our room we went and got in the pool which was extremely nice. After leaving the pool we had to quickly get ready for a local concert. When we return back that night after 11:00 p.m. we got ready for bed. Unfortunately I noticed that my sheets were not as clean. I have a high sensitivity with smells and the sheets/blankets smelled sort of musky. But overall our stay was wonderful. Our breakfast was a typical hotel breakfast. It wasn't anything exceptional. There's an extremely large crowd of families so it was very difficult for the hostess to keep everything filled. I would return back to this hotel.

Friendly staff Clearly not prepared for the amount of people checking in at one time. There was a long line that took over 45 mins to stand in to get checked in. Also, breakfast ran out quick— again, I think they underestimated the number of people who would be staying at their location.

The bed was uncomfortable the fold out bed for my kids were all sunken in let's just say that couch has seen better days. I couldn't get any clean towels and we were there 3 days. I had to chase a maid down for toilet paper the tub didn't drain. The only nice thing was the pool. The hallways had a weird smell and the carpet was filthy. And I had to vacuum my own room because nobody never came to clean. Not worth the price.

Arrived, did not get the the room We booked. Was told they overbooked the rooms and then was told we’d get 15% back to only be told the next day the “hotel” denied it via email from booking. No call from either end. Ac didn’t work stayed abut 75°in the room despite ac being on. Had people drinking in hoods of cars as you come in.

Upon arriving on the 3rd floor, there was a strong musky odor throughout the hallway. Sunday morning, I discovered my shower had not been cleaned. Before 8:00 AM, I reported it to the front desk and specifically requested that the shower be cleaned. I made it clear I did not want to change rooms. After several hours and multiple follow-up calls, the issue still had not been addressed. I explained that I was in town for a funeral and could not leave to spend time with family until I had access to a clean shower. I was even asked to locate the housekeeper myself. Due to a language barrier, we were unable to communicate, and despite a supervisor speaking with her, nothing was done. More than five hours after my initial request, I was told the room would not be addressed until all checkout rooms were completed. At that point, I requested a room change. The following day, housekeeping entered my room, but the shower still appeared untouched. Then on checkout day, around 10:30 AM, a housekeeper knocked once and immediately opened my door while I was undressed, despite checkout not being until noon. Waiting over five hours for a basic cleanliness issue, being repeatedly ignored, and having my privacy violated made for an unacceptable stay during an already difficult time for my family.

The staff was very friendly and the rooms were clean and comfortable. The breakfast was delicious with lots of variety. It good food and selection was a pleasant surprise. There was plenty of parking. The pool was a large and very clean. The gym was minimal, but clean. The only downside was there is a bench at the entrance to the parking area that attracted loitering adults.

I liked the free parking and buffet breakfast. The soda machines didn’t accept my credit card on any of the floors. Either the machine credit card device was broken or the machine just didn’t work with a card.

We stayed 4 nights. 3 of those nights the hotel lost power, fire alarms activated and we had to be evacuated in the middle of the night, up and down 6 flights of stairs for 3 nights in a row. Hotel was clean and staff was super friendly. Breakfast was good. Just an unpleasant hotel sleeping experience, especially since we came from out of town for my college graduation.

Room did not have shampoo or body wash in the room. Had to go down to the front and ask multiple times over several hours to get these amenities which should have been in the room in the first place. Empty promises of “We’ll have someone bring it to you” led nowhere. In room phones to guest services lead to hang ups. Poorly run establishment.

Clean room, but TV's not operating when checked in and the next day they weren't fixed and the wifi was down. They didn't have an ETA for any of it to get fixed, didn't seem to be too apologetic about it and only had signs that said "wifi buffering." I checked out early and went to another hotel.

The hotel had no lights or air-conditioning, the smoke alarm continued to sound all night and morning. Now I'm fighting for my refund.

Very nice looking place. The room was clean and spacious. The parking was great. My vehicle was protected from the elements. Unfortunately the wifi was down which canceled out tv service. There wasn't any kind of back up for tv service, no wifi = no tv. Hopefully they rectify the situation and maybe set something up for, at the least, tv service if wifi goes down again.

Fire alarm going off at 1:50am. Evacuation, sat outside for an hour. No power. Had to walk up and down stairs 5 flights. Next day going off again and no power. Again had to use stairs. Checked out and had to carry all our stuff down. Hot, no help. Staff unapproachable due to all the issue. They were still trying to check people in. Worst experience ever.

This is my favorite place to stay when I’m in Little Rock. I normally can give 5s for everything. Unfortunately a lighting outage caused a delay in checking in and WiFi troubles. Both things were out of any staff members hands but they handled it so well. Kudos to an amazing staff team!

Room was clean, bathroom was clean, spotless tub but there was mold in the corners or the tub. Was a musty smell on the 4th floor but only that floor for sum reason and ofc that was the floor we stayed on so that sucked but not a big deal, was only in the hallway. Staff was amazing and chill super nice and always greeted us. Good location too close to downtown and the art museum. (Check out new hope church) it’s great. One thing that sucked was the pool being closed. It’s super hot and was really looking forward to it. Breakfast was alright it’s hotel breakfast not much to expect.

Me and my son stayed at this location alone and we felt unsafe outside in the parking lot. It’s not a bad hotel but the location is not great. I wouldn’t suggest a single mom with her child staying here. It’s also very loud because it’s right next to the highway. Beds are not comfortable either.

At my visit the pool was closed for maintenance. There was an issue with the drain in the tub water draining out very slow causing tub to fill with bath water I stayed on the 4th floor so that shouldn't have been an issue. Also the snack machine on 4th floor was out of order I reported it but when I left it was still down Regard

There was no running water on the morning of checkout, and the staff rushed us to leave. Parking was also very expensive.

Staff sent above and beyond to make sure my needs were met with concierge follow up texts and excellent bar delivery service !

Rude & unhelpful to Veteran by front desk & manager. I booked this property for my son, a disabled veteran while he was getting medical treatments at the nearby Veterans Medical Center. He stayed there almost 3 weeks, paying several thousand dollars and yet they could not correct the name from mine to his when the hotels.com app switched the name. He had oral surgery & was in a lot of pain. A little compassion & understanding is not asking too much. They refused to refund or change the name a booking for 3 nights stay that was accidentally put in my name. I live in another state & it was a glitch with the hotels.com app. If you can’t offer help for a Veteran

Nice, clean hotel. My room AC didn't work for most of my stay. I was literally pouring sweat at one point and constantly taking a shower. The awesome woman at the front desk able to go up to my room and fix whatever issue it was and controlled it with the computer at her desk. I would definitely stay at this hotel again, but I'd have to make sure my AC was working first. Everything else was great.

The sofa in the room was old. We didn't even want to sit on it and didn't. I've seen better at Goodwill. Needs update on sofa and replace carpet with flooring. Panel on a/c unit hanging off. I saw more dogs than people,HUGE ones. Some rooms should exclude pets. You can't get rid of the smell. The bed was comfortable was the best of the stay. I won't go back.

The room beds are very comfortable with plenty of pillows. The room was clean. It was very quiet and easy to sleep. They had a great breakfast. In addition they had a small bar that offered a quick bite to eat during the evening so we didn't need to leave the property.

First time here and if I ever have to come back to North Little Rock, I know where I’ll be staying. Every staff member we encountered was nothing but friendly, from checking in and out with Marcus to the other people we encountered. The hotel, breakfast area and rooms were very clean and taken care of.

The room smelled musty the whole time we were there. The halls were very warm and had an odor. I was very surprised. There was no air conditioning in the bathroom (even though there was a vent in There nothing came out no matter what we tried) it made it very hot when using hair dryers etc. The beds were pretty good but the room just felt dated and old. Not what I expected from a “Presidential” hotel. Staff was very nice when we checked in and out. Pizza at the bar was delicious.

On Friday evening the desk clerk was helpful and friendly but the next evening, a different clerk, was so sick she couldn’t stay at the desk for longer than a few minutes. Find a different place to stay if you want to be cool and helped.

The room was extremely clean and affordable. Staff was very welcoming. We broke down on the highway in the middle of the night and they welcomed us like we were at home.

We went on a month-long road trip of 11 states with our dog, so we stayed at a lot of hotels. This one was notable for being very clean, relatively inexpensive, and having a reasonable pet fee.

Air conditioning didn’t work half the time. No one Informed us you could actually order food off a menu so we ended up paying $57 for 2 plates of just macaroni and cheese and mashed potatoes with NO gravy options because those were the only items even somewhat appealing. Our room was provided with only a half a roll of toilet paper and 3 tissues in the tissue box.Laatly we were put I. A room right next to the elevate so all you could hear was the elevators going up and down all night. This was a very bad experience!

Easy access right off of the interstate. Friendly staff all around. Easy check in and the room was clean and roomy. The breakfast was nice and everything was hot and fresh. Seeing bacon on the breakfast line was a nice touch. Our room was facing the interstate so there was a little noise but not enough to bother us.They also had food and drink on site and a near by brewery within a 2 minute walk. Would absolutely stay again.

Such a pretty place and wonderful employees. The room had a bad musty smell. I can not recommend. I stayed on third floor room 304. Other guests were complaining about the smell. It may be ac/h unit.

Problems with the USB plugs-ins at bedside not working, TV remote didn’t work properly; phone by bedside not operable, sink leaked; toilet plugged and didn’t flush properly. Each of these items were addressed immediately and in some cases we were compensated sufficiently. Pleasant enough room and bed was okay. Pillows were on softer side. We would’ve liked to have had an accessible room with a walk-in shower and not a tub/shower combo and handrails art the commode. Apparently all the rooms they have which are considered accessible only have a walk-in shower with handrails and a toilet without handrails. I would recommend staying at this hotel though as rates, location, and staff are above average.

Check in took longer than expected. Only one person at the desk and she was tied up on the phone. However she was very courteous and apologetic. Room was clean and in order had everything we needed. Loud neighbors with kids bouncing off the walls and the aroma of weed smoke in the hallways was frustrating.

Listen my people, I've been to a zillion places across this country, I don't know where they gathered such a perfect buncha real life souls. It doesn't happen often or ever really. The front desk, the die hards who work in the kitchen, The sixty somethin old dude who was scraping the ramp today! Location is great. It's within walking distance to the art museum and two breweries as well as other attractions. Staff was friendly and helpful. Room overall was comfortable except the sheets and bed had a lot of static. Everytime we crawled in bed we got shocked. With the light as you run your hands over yhe bed you could see

This hotel is perfect for family road trips. Room was large and very clean. We arrived late at night and Katherine's warm professionalism was exactly what we needed to greet us and get checked in quickly. We met friends for breakfast so did not eat that meal at the hotel but it smelled very good and was well attended. Runners, head north toward the river on the side street for a great running trail. Parents of littles, there's a great, large playground just across the freeway next to the art museum.

I have been traveling the country and comfort inn presidential is the bees knees! It is a nice clean hotel as expected but what sets it apart is the staff. The early daytime front desk ladies were awesome I was welcomed as family is was an experience that I haven't found often in my travels. The breakfast staff was setting up early and they were all friendly and receptive it was a great experience. I hope everyone gets to feel the happiness I feel right now because of perfect strangers doing there job with the joy and light that God provides us and so few people these days choose to share with others but when they do it makes the world a better place. Thank you so much and I will definitely see you soon!!

Wonderful and friendly staff greeted us as soon as we got in and it was a late night. Clean rooms all the amenities. A functioning bar with food during the holiday. I would recommend this place anytime.

Breakfast was disappointing because both the coffee machine and juice machine were out of order during our 2+ day stay. There were not many breakfast options available. Additionally, only one elevator was functioning. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

Stole my money. Just took it and never answered the phone. Call me directly. I stayed on the other side of Little Rock at the choice and it was paid on time, but got double charged. Good thing trump took care of us. Smh

From check in to check out, a positive experience. Courteous staff and a nice breakfast made it all the better. Room was clean and ready for guests. Atmosphere clean and nicely updated as well. This is a true Comfort Inn.

We were in Little Rock (80 miles from our home) for a very early outpatient surgery requiring a return visit the following day. So, we decided to spend the night nearby to avoid a second road trip. We were very happy with our day and night at the Comfort Inn. Both Asia and Danielle at the front desk were great at accommodating our needs. Both kind and pleasant as well as efficient. The breakfast was fresh, hot, and plentiful. Each staff member we encountered was friendly and helpful. Would definitely return.

Beautiful hotel close to downtown but just across I-30. So grateful for the shuttle to & from Simmons Bank Arena for the Jamey Johnson concert. Free onsite parking. Rooms were nice, bed was comfy. Breakfast was good. Biscuits & gravy, eggs, sausage, make your own waffles. Juice machine ran out but I did visit during the rush. Staff filled it in a timely manner. Very clean hotel throughout.

The meh: brkfst was ok, standard fair, not a ton of choices The bad: the tub drain was clogged, the highway noise was incessant all night long. Had to turn the fan on 'constant' as an attempt at white noise to help drown out the trucks. If you have any choice at all, do not get a room facing the highway.

We enjoyed our stay here! It was a nice hotel- clean, friendly staff, quiet and comfy rooms, etc. We ordered food from the pizza place in the hotel and it was delicious! My only complaint is that the eggs with the breakfast were awful! Haha I’m sure they are the most cost effective, but even eggs out of a milk carton are better than these were.

What stood out was the staff! So impressed with the staff and hotel that we booked it again on the way home. We were through late at night on the way to Boston and you tend not to get the “best” staff at night. Marcus was definitely the exception and went out of his way to make sure we felt safe and comfortable. The lady that runs breakfast went above and beyond as well. Wish we would’ve caught her name! Thanks for an amazing stay both times!

The hotel is really located in a nice spot, to see things around. The first room had a leak and they immediately gave us a another room. The hotel is nice, some of the guest were not, like the person that blocked the parking lot entrance for 25 min. But its not their fault, decency is out of the door!

Customer service provided by the staff was excellent especially the front desk.

We got a suite and it was nice and large for our family of 4. The main negative was that the AC did not cool properly and seemed to be on the fritz, as it rattled the entire night. I personally could not sleep because of the heat and noise the AC made. If it wasn’t so late when we got in and the fact that our kids were so tired, we probably would have requested another room.

I have stayed here several times for work. On this occasion there was construction on the building. The hammer drill ran nonstop until 7:15 pm and started back before 7 am the next morning. And a portion of the parking lot was roped off for construction vehicles which is not a big deal but it was at the front and made getting into the hotel challenging when you parked in the parking lot.

Nothing could be done. They had to start work when it was cooler. I requested from Expedia a complete refund. The hotel said they were the only way a refund could be issued. I await Expedia’s refund.

We asked the maid to remake one of our beds because we spilled something on it. She said we were on the list and showed us her list, but she never came for three days after two requests.

The stay was an overnight and ok. The hotel definitely needs some updating. There were large cracks in the sink and the couch cushions were sagging. The beds were very firm. The biggest issues: we killed a large spider on the bed when we got there and a cockroach the next morning when we were packing, which caused us to unpack and check all of our clothing and bags. When we got home my mother found what looks like a spider bite on the back of her thigh.

I truly enjoyed my stay here. Parking was easy and free! There was someone attempting loitering on the parking deck, but management responded quickly and effectively! We were greeted by a helpful staff member and given complimentary bottled water. They also had lemon infused water in the check in lobby! Breakfast was simple but accommodating! They actually had eggs and meat. Most places is just cereal and bread fruit and juice. Check out was smooth! We also had a great view of the city and interstate from our room!

The property was clean. Night staff was cordial. Not overly friendly. Just did his job at the basic level. Upon entering the room initial thought was it’s an older property. But clean. Until I saw a small cockroach which I reported to comfort inn corporate and also the front desk. Seeing a cockroach and flies in the room did not give me the feeling I was in a clean room. However it was 2 am. So we stayed.

Check-in was very smooth and the front desk staff was very polite and helpful. The room is very clean and bathroom is also neat and clean. Will definitely recommend this hotel.

This placed was great. In fact, we stayed there twice go to Nashville and coming back home. We ate at an old Italian Restaurant there and it was to die for. You have to try it, triple D, Guy Farari did his show there. No reservations first come first serve.

I did like that the parking in the garage was close to the doors and that guest didn't have to walk so far.

The staff was amazing!! Had it not been 100°+ outside, it probably would have been a great stay with no complaints. The rooms AC could not keep up with the high temps though and it was, no exaggeration, close to 90° in our room. We ran in to multiple other guests that said their rooms were also very warm. The staff moved us from a double room to a king suite that was open and it was a little bit better. The living area was nice and cool but there wasn’t a unit in the bedroom so it was still quite warm but not near as bad as the first room. I appreciate the guy working trying to help but the small units in the rooms just couldn’t cut it on such a hot day.

The staff was fantastic!! However, the area still seems to be up and coming, which isn't the worst thing, but you can definitely tell. The only real negative to the hotel was that one of their elevators was not functional while my wife and I were there and so it took forever to get from the top floor down the to the lobby.

I reserved an accessible room but doorways are very narrow and no wheelchair could be used at all. There were only 3 room towels for 4 people and there were no towels at all for the pool. The beds were like sleeping on the floor they were so hard. The tub barely drained and took a long time to empty, i thought it might overflow so expedited my shower. Breakfast was pretty standard and decent. The pizza restaurant downstairs was very good but I wouldn't stay here again.

I was told it was handicapped accessible, but the wheelchair would not fit thru the bathroom door. Refused to give me a refund would only give me a cancelation receipt. Had I not taken out insurance thru Expedia,I would have been out $468.00. When we first got to hotel to check in, we got our room key and headed into the parking garage as we got to the bottom of the ramp there were 7 guys sitting on the concrete wall smoking marijuana. No one in parking garage but 1 other car. Long story short I'm glad the wheelchair did not fit thru the bathroom door. We did not feel comfortable at all. Don't waste your time,save your money look for a different place to stay. Comfort Inn on Financial was where we stayed and it was great and safe.

To start I want to say the front desk is very nice and have wonderful customer service. The problem is with both the design and conditions the hotel was in. I don’t know how the owner of the hotel hasn’t renovated the design of the hotel or added an additional air unit. For the price I expected the room to be clean , but there were noticeable stains on the couch, towels had a bad smell and lint or dust balls on it. Shower didn’t look cleaned and the room had a bad smell. We had air running at 60 on high fan and the bedroom was still extremely hot since we stayed on the 9th floor. The entire hallway felt hot. We checked if maybe it was something wrong with our floor and all the other floors had the same problem where they were excessively hot. The basement parking seemed very unsafe and people were loitering around when there’s clearly a sign not to but I guess it wasn’t being enforced. In the basement parking there’s also 2 big city trash receptacles right by the doors to go in the elevators. Just didn’t seem appropriate nor gives a good aspect to the hotel. Overall for the price of the room this is not a hotel you want to stay at. Seems more like a party hotel where people host their room party’s . Grateful for the helpful and friendly staff at the front desk. I have included pictures as well in this review.
