We booked a 6 person suite for 2 nights asked to get room cleaning service - said they couldn’t do room service for a same day (night before request) as they only do maid service every three days . Which is fine but no one even offered or informed us when we checked in. Three towels in room for 6 ppl . Have to check towels out and BACK IN for pool . Breakfast was ok. If you book- home wood suites and Hampton inn are on same building. Homewood is better .

Stayed here with 3 adults and 2 kids in one room. Rooms are very clean and spacious. One thing to note is that they only provide housekeeping once every 3 nights. Since our stay was only 3 nights we didn’t have any housekeeping which was actually quite inconvenient as our trash was overflowing and towels needed replacing. They do assist you but you have to ask and wait. Not a deal breaker but I wish I was advised at check-in. Otherwise, it’s a great hotel in a great location and I would stay here again.

Beautiful pool and grounds area with nice outdoor couches in sun or shade. Lobby area was very large and perfect of our party of 14 as we all arrived at different times. We were able to sit, talk, share pizzas and be comfortable. The staff was very accommodating, getting us paper plates and utensils. They have a business area with a printer, for our bagtags (cruise) and a wonderful hot breakfast. Our rooms were spacious. The whole party was happy with our stay. Thank you!

There wasn’t much to cook with a couple plates and cups. Stayed 4day and only received housekeeping 1 day,I think every other day would have been more appropriate. Scheduled cleaning days are a bit much.

It was clean. To begin, I need to address the staff, as my experience at check-in was completely unacceptable. The front desk associate who assisted me (an African American woman, approximately in her 50s–60s) was openly rude and unprofessional from the start. When I calmly asked if everything was okay, as she appeared visibly upset, she responded by saying, “you were the one that came in here upset.” This was both inaccurate and inappropriate. At no point did I approach the desk with anything but a neutral attitude—I had just arrived around 10:30 PM after a long day and simply wanted to check in and get to my room. Instead of a basic level of courtesy, I was met with hostility and dismissiveness. This is not how any guest should be treated, under any circumstances. To make matters worse, this interaction took place directly in front of my 10-year-old daughter, which made the situation even more uncomfortable and disappointing. There is no excuse for speaking to a guest in that manner, especially in front of their child. Shortly after getting to my room, I received a message from the hotel asking how my stay was going. I responded honestly, stating that everything was fine aside from the poor treatment I received during check-in. Despite that, I never received any follow-up or acknowledgment. Being asked for feedback and then completely ignored when providing it only adds to the frustration and shows a lack of accountability. This experience left a very poor first impression and does not reflect the level of professionalism I would expect. I expect this matter to be taken seriously and addressed appropriately. At a minimum, I would like to see staff retraining on basic customer service and professionalism, as well as follow-up communication acknowledging this incident. Situations like this should not be occurring, and I hope steps are taken to ensure other guests do not have a similar experience.

We stayed here after driving from Houston for a family funeral and had a great experience. Check-in was easy, the suite was clean and comfortable, and the breakfast was really good. Overall, a nice, stress-free stay. I would definitely stay here again.

Comfortable, clean rooms. Excellent lication for walking to area dining and shopping. Breakfast average, with limited healthy options. Fresh fruit poorly stocked, guests filling backpacks etc. to go after eating. Nice pool area. I personally cannot sit and enjoy the lobby or breakfast area due to extremely heavy use of air fragrance in the common indoor areas.

Property was overpriced given the condition of guest rooms (main floor lobby was immaculate by comparison). Bed mattress was worn out or supports were broken. Shower water temp was difficult to control. Cheap furniture with doors that would not close. Kitchen was poorly equipped. Parking fee of $20 per night was not included in your pricing. Staff was friendly but could not extend checkout by more than one hour,

The hotel is very nice, staff were nice, and the place is clean and comfortable. It was quiet at night, even on the weekends and being near the airport. The pet relief areas were very helpful - our two dogs were happy with a place to go. The kitchen set up is very basic but does include a large fridge and freezer and nice microwave. The bedroom was huge, which was nice w/ two dogs (it fit their crates). Living room furniture was a bit weird (why the long ottoman under the coffee table?). Could provide more towels for a 3-night stay. We had to call 3 times to get more delivered. The hotel is in a great location near Hangar LBX w/ lots of food options and near the 405. It was very good overall, we will stay here again.

Airport shuttle supposed to be included but when I called about it they said I may have to wait a while as the desk was short staffed. So had to take a pricey cab for a 3 min ride. Return shuttle to airport worked fine though driver coild have been friendlier.

Stayed here for a 40th high school reunion that was down the street at the Lakewood Country Club. Hotel was newer, modern, with all amenities that were needed to be comfortable. We only didn't care for the way that the bathroom door and closet doors are too close to each other. A sliding door would be better for the bathroom given the tight space in front of the vanity. Also the charging port was broken.

The couple next-door to me was very loud, but I did complain and trust me. I never heard a peep from them for the rest of my stay next there were kids on top of my head the next floor up oh my God, the jumping up and down that was devastating, but unfortunately that’s why kids do I get itand one other thing that I didn’t appreciate was that the bed was mattress too soft it’s like it needed a new mattress, totally uncomfortable to sleep on at night. I will say, though that the manager, Adrian was very kind very helpful and very understanding. He always checked on me to make sure I was OK and I totally appreciate that part of my Customer Service. I give the manager 100% because he was very on point to make sure that I was OK did I need to move my room? I do appreciate somebody staying with me to know that I was gonna finish my vacation and I was OK.

Stayed here for 4 nights during Warped Tour. The location was safe and close to numerous dining options. Loved the close proximity to Walmart and Costco too since the rooms are suites. It was an easy commute to downtown Long Beach for the music festival and plenty of other attractions in Long Beach itself. Will for sure choose this hotel again for next year

Although this hotel seem amazing at a glance . The jacuzzi was broken and never got hot . In order to receive a pool towel you have to go “ check out” the towel in the lobby . They kept telling me that the towels were in the dryer and come back in 15 mins . Went back and still no towels available. This happened a few times . Then the following day I called front desk to ask for dry towels to be delivered to the room , and same thing . Took 45 mins to receive the towels . My family had to share and reuse the same 3 towels. Unacceptable!

The property is nice and it is kept clean, and the staff is fairly friendly and efficient. The free breakfast is nice too. However, the pool area was super crowded during our stay, the doors were not locked, and it seemed to be taken over by several people who were not guest of the hotel. The hot tub was not hot. It was rather cold and was a big reason why we stayed. There was an accident at the pool after the Fourth of July and was closed, which was quite upsetting to our daughter who has special needs. The hot tub did not seem to be a one time heating element going out sort of thing because we had stayed a month and a half prior and it was also lukewarm at best. Also towels have to be checked out at the front desk and returned or signed in and out and it’s rather inconvenient, but I do feel necessary since so many people are in and out of that area. The location is nice with a Starbucks right across the way and very close proximity to the airport. Laundry facilities are clean and available although five dollars per each wash and each dry load and the dryer does not seem to get the clothes dry after one so one load of laundry is about $15.

The overall property is decent. Their 24 hour store offered very little. No sodas or friendly beverages for children. The pullout sofa in our room was disgusting. Old and tattered. It looked like it was a toy for a cat. We received zero housekeeping during our week stay. We had to call numerous times to have our garbage emptied, get towels and toilet paper. I wish I could post a picture of the couch. Just awful.

They charged us $250 US extra calling it a “cleaning fee”. I’ve been trying to email the hotel manager, & Hilton itself, several times, no one bothered to respond back. In 6 nights they cleaned my room once, & they charged me $250US. My family had several rooms as well, & they hated the experience as well. They stayed for 3 nights & were told that they weren’t entitled for cleaning, since it was “just” the 3 nights. Hours of wait for towels. & every time we’d ask for a towel, or a sheet they said their dryer was broken & had the only 1 dryer. & this lasted for days. Even Days Inn would’ve had a better service. This Homewood suites, certainly does not fall into the “Hilton standards”. Please do yourself a favour & find an alternative hotel.

The building looks nice and modern but I wish the condition of the beds and sofas are the same inside the rooms. The beds and sofas are so worn out and has stains on the bedsheets. It was hard to sleep with the super flat pillows that were provided and the sofa bed was so uncomfortable. The front desk were friendly although when I asked for towels 2 times I didn’t get them to the room and the other time I had to get it myself because they took so long to ask the housekeepers that they were already off. What I liked about the hotel was the easy parking and quiet area near the shopping area. The staff also let us check in an hour early so it was convenient. The breakfast was about the same everyday but not too bad for a hotel breakfast buffet. I would stay here again for the location, cleanliness, and convenience.

Staff was not friendly at all. Not curteous, didnt explain things well. My room was given away although a reserved it weeks ago. I had to take a room with a smaller bed. When I checked in had to park my car in the back , put my luggage on a cart and tried to come in through the back. The front desk clerk forgot to mention that they lock aclcess to the back after 10pm for safety reasons. I called her to let her know I couldnt get in, she didnt apologize for not letting me know she hung up on me while I was still speaking. Horrible expierience, they dint want to hear you when have something to say. All I wanted was to be heard. If an issue came up they shpuld know how to handle it. I was not being rude ir screaming, I just wanted to be validated and they didnt mske me feel valued at all

Breakfast - I love that breakfast is included with hotel stay. Overall, breakfast is always good. However, my only problem is I just wish they would change the main dish more often. Each time I have stayed, I am there for 3 to 5 days - it's the same pork and chicken carnitas i'll take care. I'll take care of it right now so you don't do later on in the refrigerator. Give him half another half. I'm here. I give him half a breakfast half a lunch (every morning). It would be nice if they serve turkey sausage , bacon, etc. sometimes. The kitchen staff very nice and helpful - just wish if one staying whole week - you could not have same item everyday.

Very nice place to stay while on vacation. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Also, the breakfast was good and dining area very clean.

This is an excellent place to stay if you're visiting the Long Beach area. The facility is clean and quiet. Staff is nice. We would definitely stay again if we were in the area.

It was our first time. We were in town for a funeral and it was close to our location. It was a safe area, lots of parking. The room was clean and the kitchen amenities were amazing. Will definitely be back.

Great customer service, all the property was super clean, great food options within the hotel. The main pool area will look amazing once it has been completed. They also keep the beach area very clean. Extremely recommended. The tours/actuvities that they offer not so much.
