Inconsistent communications regarding the rollaway bed. One said they didn’t have one, one said they did but was in use with another guest. Clarifying the actual price of the rollaway should be in their info page. The staff was nice but difficult to understand when speaking in the phone.

Good area about one hour walk to Venice Beach, lots of restaurants/ takeaways in area. Disappointed the swimming pool was not open, I asked a member of staff they said it opens in a few days. A few works/ painting was going on. I only chose this hotel for the pool as some didn’t have a pool.

The staff at Super 8 Culver Area were very friendly and made me feel immediately welcome. They were always happy to stop and chat, and to help with any questions I had. They were also very accommodating at checkout day. Will definitely stay here again when back in LA!

Our stay was pleasant. The staff was nice and there was plenty of parking. We thought there was to be a full hot breakfast when book but it was continental. There were two choices of cold cereal, instant oatmeal, yogurt, fruit, toast, coffee, tea and juice.

It was a great decision to stop here after a very long flight. Quiet, comfortable bed and nice breakfast.

The room was very clean, relatively spacious, and comfortable. The breakfast was simple, but it suited us well. I can highly recommend this hotel. Access from the street is somewhat problematic. Be especially careful when driving in if your car has low ground clearance.

I travel a lot and go from hotel to hotel. I chose this hotel because it has a pool and it was extremely hot in LA. But when I arrived the pool was getting emptied and the next 2 days there was unbearable noise for pool maintenance (jackhammer all day — see video provided). To the point that I couldn’t work in the room and had to get out for 2 full days during the maintenance hours. I have a lot of work and swapping hotels was not possible for me last minute but I asked for a discount gesture (to their discretion) given that I could not use the room for 2 full days but they refused (and nothing warned about this during the booking process, there only was a piece a paper warning that “there may be some noise”, which is absolutely not matching the huge disturbance this created. I’ve never seen this in a hotel before (I would have been fine with a small gesture). I would avoid Wyndham in the future as they are not customer focused at all.

There was no water in the pool. If the door is advertised as having a pool. There was hair in the bathroom sink that was not mine. The biggest issue I had was noise coming from the refrigerator. I unplugged the refrigerator. It had a loud humming noise which kept me awake. Upon checking out there was a gentleman waiting to check out before me. He told me he had been waiting five minutes. I also had been waiting for five minutes. We were knocking on the glass. No one came out so we just left the key card and left.

Great stay at Super 8 by Wyndham Los Angeles-Culver City Area! The location is excellent and very convenient, with plenty of parking available, which makes everything much easier. The breakfast is simple, but very functional and light — perfect to start the day without any hassle. Overall, a very practical and well-located option that delivers exactly what it promises.

My stay was OK. I was disappointed that the pool was closed. Wish they would of said something on their website. The room was okay, the lighting was kind of dark and had to open the curtain for more light which beats the purpose of privacy. It was the average clean. The sheets and pillows had a weird smell to them. Luckly we had brought our own. The staff at check in was alright but the girl working the cafeteria was really sweet. Breakfast wasnt anything too big. Coffee (that tasted days old), toast, oatmeal, cereal. Aslo wished that was posted on the website. Parking was ok. Not sure why they wanted us to park in the back when there was parking in the front, for guests AND strictly check in guests. Overall it was just an OK experience.

Friendly staff, good location. Relatively good value for money given the location in LA. It was relatively clean but the bed sheets, pillows and towels had a smell to them, also there were hairs on our bed sheets when we arrived. The king room is quite small.

Room was spotless, staff friendly, breakfast was good. I was alone and felt very safe. It was close to the Marina an everywhere I needed to go. Very comfortable room, great shower.

No hot water for two nights in a row. The third night I had to shower somewhere else. I ended up checking out early and moving to another hotel. They told me too many other people were showing at the same time as me. Strange this would happen two nights in a row. Hot water is one of the minimum standards a hotel needs to supply.

The person who checked us in was very nice and our room was clean and spacious.

Room was good, but not enough lighting. Location was good Not enough lighting in the room. Staff was not friendly at all. We needed to use the restroom one last time after checkout, the guy straight said no.

table in our room has breadcrumbs on it, and there were some hairs. The room did not smell good. Worst of all was the smell from the AC - really awful, so we couldn't use it, and we froze during the night. Breakfast was very minimal.

The lighting in the room was very bad. Only 3 table lamps in the room. The bedside lamps way too bright to watch TV. The desk lamp was useless. It was a very dark room. No Orange juice for breakfast.

Breakfast is included but it's pretty basic (bread and butter/jam, plus cereal). No big deal, but I recommend just getting food at a coffee shop nearby.

First time staying in Culver City, the place was kept clean, easy to find, it’s quite close to Venice Beach. We would definitely stay here again!

I was pleased with the friendliness of the staff. There are various food options within walking distance. The only thing that I didn't like was the TV and top blanket wasn't soft. Otherwise it was great.

It is clean but has a old folk home incontinent smell. We asked to change the room but the smell is the same. We booked the room because the good reviews but I have to disagree with them. I always choose quite carefully but this is one of the worst motels we stayed on our route 66 trip sadly.

If you are looking for a clean room in a quiet part of LA, within 15-20 minutes of the airport, where you do not need to spend too much - this hotel fits the bill. Free spacious parking. The breakfast isn't much... just cereal - but if you are content eating cereal or oatmeal for breakfast - they have that, along with fruit, yogurt, toast, and coffee. I stayed here during the June 2025 riots - had not trouble at this location. It was quiet.

Great, quiet location. All staff was great, very courteous, and helpful. Zero complaints, we would definitely stay again. Took my 12 yr son to Dodgers game, universal studios, Hollywood sightseeing, and the beaches, this location was central to the places mentioned. Great location.

Poor breakfast.

The Super 8 checked most of the boxes for a very reasonably priced property. It was clean, room furnishings seemed rather modern, it was rather spacious (we had a second floor room with a vaulted wooden ceiling), plenty of parking available, and the staff was very nice and friendly. The free breakfast could’ve been better - cold cereals, yogurt, mandarin orange cups, mini muffins, orange juice, milk, coffee. I would suggest adding packets of instant oatmeal and fresh fruit (apples, bananas). We even took a morning stroll to the Costco down the street. I would stay here again - the price was more than right, when compared to everything else in LA!

Our room was really clean and neat.

The plumbing was backed up by a drain on the bathroom floor overnight. When I used the bathroom, there were two inches of sewer water on the entire bathroom floor.

This Super 8 is very clean and comfortable with a simple breakfast that for me makes a good start to the day. The location is excellent giving easy access to Venice beach and Santa Monica.

Loved the area. The hotel is quiet and comfortable. Breakfast was lacking but that was ok because we could walk to Maxine's which was fabulous.

The stay met our needs

This property was very nice and clean. The staff was nice. The only problem was the television didn’t work and the staffhad to come to my room to upload the cable to the television and when I tried to turn it on again in the morning the television was not working again and needed to be uploaded but instead of asking I just left earlier than I wanted to but overall it was a good place to stay and I will stay again in the future.

We spend all day at the beach. The room was cleaned everyday and the showers have great water pressure. Just a great place to sleep. Comfortable beds and pillows. Going back next year!

The hotel was clean and the staff was polite and helpful. The mini fridge in my room wasn’t working so they put in a maintenance request and stored my food in a fridge in the office for me. Unfortunately, no one ended up coming to repair the fridge during my stay but other than that it was a pleasant stay!

Everything was good, easy check-in and check-out, room nice and clean, well maintained. Really quiet property, which was amazing for a good rest. Daily room service available if wanted. They even provide breakfast, simple, but it was nice to be able to get coffee and some snacks without going to a cafe every morning.

The staff was friendly, the room & linings were clean, House keepers were outstanding. The cleaned my room daily. It was an older hotel but well maintained.

The room had a horrible odor!! The TV didn't work without the main remote that we had to get from the front desk and we had to ask for soap because none was left in our room after housekeeping. Other than that the room was clean and bed was comfortable.

For Los Angeles, this is reasonably priced. Rooms are always clean and the staff is very nice. This is not super fancy, but very functional. Not too close to amenities (restaurants and gas), but Costco is just a few blocks down the street if you need any supplies.

Refrgerator did not work

The bed was too firm, but other than that we had a very pleasant overnight stay. Nice and quiet. Room in good shape. A/C worked well. Not much of a breakfast selection - we ended up going out.

I have stayed here twice, both times for a week, and it's been a nice experience. The hotel has a very walkable, safe neighborhood just behind it and lots of food options. It is a Super 8 mind you, so don't expect luxury, but it is a great budget-friendly place with what you need. I'll stay here again the next time I'm in L.A. for work.

This was a fine, clean, basic motel to stay in with free parking. The breakfast was a coffee, granola bar and flavored yogurt cup kind of thing, so we had breakfast elsewhere. Other than that, no problems.

Although the property was great and they say breakfast included, well the breakfast is rubbish. Coffee, yogurt, little thing of fruit in juice and a very small cake/muffin. Definitely not a breakfast!

I have stayed at this Super 8 twice this year and will be back. Checkin is friendly and the room and bathroom are very clean. I did not try breakfast but did appreciated the coffee machine in the room. M The rooms at the end of the hotel away from Washington are more quiet.

Neutral: Grab-and go breakfast is free but tiny (granola bar, packaged muffines, yogurt, cup fruit)- don't expect the free breakfasts you get at other hotels (eggs, waffles, bacon, etc), Free wi-fi but disconnected a few times, vending machine broke during stay but staff refunded me Cons: Room was dark (no overhead lighting in bedroom area, just lamps), tub was slightly clogged Final thoughts: Totally on me for not looking into it before booking, but just know that there is no elevator (Was in town for a photoshoot and had a lot to carry/store and so an elevator would've been helpful) Overall, good place at an affordable price. If you just need a place to sleep with airconditioning and to feel safe, this place is good enough.
